"Suwako-san! Kanako-san! We have an emergency!"

Kanako woke up from her slumber and saw Sanae holding a newspaper and a flier.

"Huh? What's wrong?" asked Suwako. The two immortals had stayed up drinking last night and were not in the mood to do anything at the moment.

"This is what's wrong."

Sanae slammed the newspaper down the table and pointed at an ad.

"Have a date but need someone to watch the kids? Reimu Hakurei will take care of that for ya. Just drop your request one week in advance in Geidontei and Reimu will have you covered. Are you sure it's real?"asked Suwako. "It's from Bunbunmaru and you know how unreliable that Aya girl is."

Sanae slammed down the flier which read "Hakurei Babysitting. Available weekly at any time. 2000 yen per kid. Ages 2-11 years only. For more information, either visit the Hakurei Shrine or drop in at Geidontei."

"Does she even have a stand setup there?" asked Kanako. "I mean, it looks real and all but-"

"Yes she does!" yelled Sanae. "And this is all over the human village! What are we gonna do?"

"Calm down, Sanae," reassured Kanako. "It's not like Reimu's gonna get a lot of followers from this right?"

"That's where you're wrong," countered Suwako. She was now wide awake and fully aware of what the poster meant.

"By babysitting, Reimu will gain more trust from the human villagers and children. Even if the current adult villagers avoid her shrine, the children she babysits will trust her enough to the point that they will start visiting her more when they grow up and even bring their own kids too," explained Suwako. "We will be forgotten and in the same state as Reimu if we don't do anything."

"You're right. Do you have a plan?" asked Kanako.

The three residents thought long and hard before Sanae spoke up.

"How about we babysit as well? We just need to make our price a bit cheaper," suggested Sanae.

"Hmm," thought Kanako. "As good as that sounds, we don't have the means or materials to show that we can do better. Her poster is better than what any of us can come up with, so even with a slashed price, people are still gonna go for her just cuz hers looks more reliable and planned out than ours."

"Heheh, who said they had to look at both of our posters?" asked Suwako.

Sanae and Kanako looked at each other before turning to Suwako.

"What do you have in mind?" asked Sanae.

"Oh. I'm gonna pay our bird-brained neighbors a visit. In the meantime, Kanako, I think it's time we modify her ad."
