I hope you all are having a good day today, everyone, because I, SuperHeroTimeFan, have now returned, with an all-new chapter for my leading popular crossover story, Owl House: NT Witch! Once more, I am very happy with how much attention this story is getting. I did not expect it to be so popular when it started out, if I am being honest. But everything you have done to support me, whether it be through the site or for my art for the story on DeviantArt, has helped me to push forward. And I am very pleased that the site's email alert problem has now been fixed. It was frustrating to not get any new alerts, but I am so glad they are back. Thank you especially to Blackmetalzane22 and Cloud4012 for your continued support, feedback and great reviews. It really means a lot to hear such great things from you all. Thanks! Now, just like the fifth chapter, this one will be an original. And also, if you pay attention to the chapter titles I have put so far, you may notice the hidden message in it that I and other authors like to do with our stories. With those being said, I would like you to now sit back, relax, and enjoy my new chapter!
Chapter 7: Answers, Announcements and Openings
It was a few days after the library incident, as well as the failed attempt at destroying a Darkloid by the Emperor's Coven. Luz was in her room, reading over the new book she had been allowed to keep, the autobiography on Mr. Wily. Her mother had told her that ever since the incident with Grave, Mr. Wily had disappeared. The only other times Lan had heard from him was when he and his friends discovered that there was a Battle Chip with his legacy on it, but it was lost. Even through the Nebula incident, there was no sign of Mr. Wily, until giant Viruses had attacked the Earth, and he had been said to have given SciLab the means to create Dimensional Areas at will.
"But why do you have a book here?" Luz asked herself, reading through the fifth chapter. "Everything we know about you is here. You created the Solo Navis BlasterMan and StoneMan, the process for creating World Three, and your knowledge of the Dimensional Areas. Heck, you even knew that ShadeMan would use your old base in M-Tech City for his attack on Dr. Regal, but what else don't we know about you?"
Luz turned a page after finishing a paragraph and stopped. She put the book down on a rest and inspected what was on the next page. It was a symbol, one that she heard Lan and Kim say they had gotten after the day of the giant Virus attacks. It was worldwide, and she was still starting out with Azura, but they had talked about a being that sent the Viruses, and the Asteroid NetNavis that came recently, to Earth and to random people.
"Luz, you don't think that's the Duo crest that Lan warned SciLab about, do you?" Azura asked.
"I think it might be," Luz replied, bringing up a picture of the crest on her photo gallery from her PET. "And according to this section, Wily knew all about it. But he didn't know what it could do."
"Look, there's more," Azura said as she teleported to Luz, picking up the book. "He hadn't mentioned the Demon Realm… but there is an entry of some sort of way he came here," she said as Luz picked up her shoes, hopping to put them on as she made her way to her NetNavi. "I can't make out any of the stuff that was used, he said it was all made before his time. But he used the Crest of Duo as an entry key to a base that he and a partner created," she went on as Luz finally put her shoes back on. "And… wow, this is not a coincidence."
Luz was handed the book, and she saw an outline of what appeared to be the Owl House on it, with schematics for several things. Some of them displayed an elevator to a hidden room, one that seemed to link to random places on the Boiling Isles. Taking a closer look, she noticed something on the sketch of the wall where the elevator entrance was located. She and Azura looked to each other before the former lowered the book to check her surroundings. She lifted the book back up, seeing a small entrance door with what appeared to be a green locked chest in front of it.
"You don't think…?" Azura started out.
"One way to find out." Luz said, walking to the chest next to the window. She moved it out of the way and carefully relocated the frames behind it to reveal an old door. It was a head smaller than her, but she could still see what appeared to be a scanner next to it. Turning the page back to the Crest of Duo, she placed it on the scanner, and the door opened, revealing an elevator with the walls decorated like the pattern of a Synchro Chip.
"Whoa!" Luz exclaimed before she stepped in. Azura followed, and as soon as they were inside, the elevator closed and went down.
Luz and Azura looked around, seeing through the window the rest of the Boiling Isles that surrounded the Owl House. Once it had passed, they now saw a huge room with a large monitor and several PET models lined up, each one leading up to the Progress PET.
When the elevator stopped, Luz and Azura stepped out. Luz's PET started to glow, getting Luz to take it out before it guided her towards the terminal. She placed it on, and soon, the Navi Crest on it, as well as the one on Azura's chest, started to glow.
"Okay, this is a lot to take in." Azura said.
"What is it?" Luz asked.
"Some sort of old code," Azura replied, seeing data pass only through her own eyes. "Seeing Wily's name with others that are unfamiliar to me, but it seems they were here, and built this base under the house, way before Eda moved in. There's no records of any witches who lived here before Eda moved in, and I'm even seeing the images of the witches who they had encountered."
"What else?" Luz asked.
"A message," Azura said before dragging her hand to the selected screen that was shown to her. She flicked it out, getting it to show on the large monitor. "Let's see what they left behind."
Luz and Azura turned to see the monitor turn on. When it did, a younger Mr. Wily with who they could only assume to be Dr. Tadashi Hikari showed up.
"To those who find this message, it means that you have discovered the Demon Realm's network, one that seems to be similar to our own, of any time," Dr. Wily said. "Tadashi and I have studied this place for years, and based on the research we have made in the Human Realm, this realm has energy that can bring the human and cyber worlds together. A revolutionary discovery of new dimensional energy, places we have decided to call Dimensional Areas."
"Dr. Hikari came up with the idea of Dimensional Areas," Luz said. "And though SciLab was able to claim one of Nebula's, those ones were powered by drained NetNavis. But the newer ones are different. This might be how Dr. Hikari made the better ones."
"The people here have been cooperative and friendly to us. We have not intruded on them, and in return for a new realm to share with them, they have helped us," Tadashi Hikari spoke. "Through this base, we have established warp points similar to those in the Cyberworld. Enough to sustain for years, and run on a never-ending power. However, we have discovered something in this base's creation."
"I know you can find this, and show the Boiling Isles and all of the Demon Realm that the more they restrict magic, the more they will be playing into the hands of—"
Before Mr. Wily could continue, the transmission started to cut out. Luz and Azura looked to each other before the transmission cut back.
"Emperor… lost Titans… the original… I know… do it…"
"What's going on?" Luz asked.
"It's before any of our times, I think way before Eda's family, even," Azura replied. "I can't keep it together."
Before Luz could ask anything else, the transmission ended. Once more, NetNavi and NetOp shared a look with each other before looking around. As they did, a device beeped. Luz walked over to it, and a parchment printed out, showing a map on it that linked to the base they were in.
That night, at dinner, Luz was still thinking about what she and Azura had seen. As Eda was putting down more food, she took a glance at the autobiography on Mr. Wily before sitting down, with King and Hooty taking a look at it as well. They turned back to Luz, who continued to eat the steak on her plate.
"I think he was working on something here," Luz said as Eda turned to her ward. "From what Azura and I could make out, Wily found out about Dimensional Areas, and that they have the same power as the one flowing throughout all of the Demon Realm."
"Yeah, he… sounded ahead of his time." King said.
"How far did you get in that book after coming back from that hidden cave?" Eda asked.
"A bit further," Luz said. "But I had to stop to get ready for the next demonstration tomorrow. With Amity being able to do CrossFusion, she and Skara were able to help with taking care of new attacks while I was preparing the Battle Chip Gauntlets."
"Good, good," Eda said, getting to her own meal. "Gotta focus on the important stuff. I mean, the last I heard from the Blight Family, they were in some legal trouble for getting fifteen of their employees killed by GrandeurMan."
"Which is why we need to make sure people continue to stay safe, and are prepared," Luz said. "I still need to find out how to make more Battle Chips, because I carry only so much copies of them, and how to make more new Navis when the commissions are still coming in."
"Kid, remember, don't do this thinking you're the only one needed for the job," Eda said. "We're student and teacher, you in magic and me in all this cyber stuff. Teachers gotta help students, and the other way around."
"Thanks, Eda," Luz said as she finished her steak before drinking some of her beverage. She coughed a bit afterwards. "Non-alcoholic, and yet, I can't get used to the taste like you can." She mused.
"It's an acquired taste, you'll get the hang of it," Eda said before Luz's PET started to vibrate. "What's that?"
Luz turned to the PET and looked at it. "Someone's trying to contact me," she said. "I should answer it on my laptop."
"I'll get it!" Hooty called, stretching his neck upstairs. When he returned, he had Luz's laptop secured before setting it down. "You're welcome!"
"Thanks, Hooty," Luz said before setting her PET down and linking it to her computer as she opened it up. When it booted up, she saw Dr. Hikari and Mr. Famous on it. "Dr. Hikari! Mr. Famous!"
"Please, Luz. Just Famous," Mr. Famous said. "And it's a pleasure to see you again."
"How'd you get in touch?" Luz asked before seeing her mother walk over next to Yuichiro. "Mom!" she exclaimed happily.
"Buenos días, Luz," Camila said. "Raika told me about where you were, and don't worry. I'm not mad. I'm actually proud that you've been helping the people there in facing off against the returning Darkloids. With the newer Darkloids and Asteroid Navis here, it's good to know that someone is helping to take care of a revived ShadeMan."
"Yeah, we even opened up our own business, Azura and I," Luz said. "And if we get permission from Wade, we can help everyone protect themselves against the next Darkloid and/or Virus attacks."
"We can try to help in any way we can," Dr. Hikari said. "Luz, your father would be proud of what you're doing. Thank you for continuing to fight in his name."
"How'd you even get a hold of here?" Luz asked as Eda and King moved out of the frame to let Luz have her time. "Did Sharo help establish contact with the Demon Realm?"
"You can thank some friends of Kim and Lan for that," Mr. Famous said. "They know people with advanced technological feats, and were able to apply that to this line. Don't worry, it's only something we will be able to use, and will not be for the public to use," he went on. "But if you can share with us anything to know of your Darkloid problem, that can allow us to help you more."
"Well, the Demon Realm here has its own Cyberworld, and a NetCity of their own that I plan to open up once I found a way to contact Higsby, but it looks like you beat me to that problem," Luz replied with a chuckle. "Do you think you can have him over in the next twenty hours? He's the only person in the public that I can trust without exposing it to the world, and he would be very fond of expanding his business."
"We can do that. I'll let Lan know," Dr. Hikari said. "He wanted to be here, but had a mission. He did say that he wanted to thank you for the extra cyber security measures that you put for Gravesfield."
"Remember to take things easy," Camila added on. "It seems like you've got a lot to deal with already, so if you want to hear about a new development for our family later, I can hold in my own news."
"I'm okay with hearing it." Luz replied.
"Same here," Azura added from inside of Luz's PET. "What do you have for us, Mama?"
"So, I went to the camp, and there's someone from the Demon Realm, a basilisk, she said she was called, named Vee, who has taken your appearance while you're there," Camila said in the Human Realm at SciLab. "We made sure that she doesn't do too much while acting as you, and that all new friends she makes be directed to your new sister when she comes back. She's a Noceda now, Vee Noceda."
"I have another sister!" Azura exclaimed happily.
"Mom, that's the best news I could have heard!" Luz exclaimed with the same level of happiness. "I can't wait to meet her!"
"We'll let you be so that you can be ready for tomorrow," Dr. Hikari said. "I can only imagine just how much work you've got cut out for yourself."
"With what has been going on… things could be looking better for a lot of us." Luz admitted.
At Blight Manor, Amity watched from her room as several lawyers were leaving before another line of them entered. She turned to the hall and walked to the door leading to her mother's office, where she listened in on what was going on.
"How many more families will I have to deal with?!" Odalia demanded as before her stood Lilith.
"This is the last one," Lilith replied. "Emperor Belos has been most displeased with the Darkloids, and your attempt to take one on has only increased his troubles, Mrs. Blight. You are fortunate that we are not demanding a cease and desist of this, as you are already paying for compensation of the lives you have carelessly sent to die at the hands of GrandeurMan."
"And you let Luzura Incorporated deal with these savages instead?" Odalia asked as Alador was signing several wafers before walking over to join in.
"She and her teacher have proven to be the best line of defense against Darkloids and Viruses, and therefore, are permitted to do as they please against these threats," Lilith replied. "You, on the other hand, are not. If your actions cause any more lives to be lost, then there will be serious repercussions for your foolish actions. Good day, Mrs. Blight." She said before walking out and flying off once she got outside of the Manor.
"Well, THAT could have gone better." Hecate said.
"It's been visits from lawyers and family members for the past few days now," Amity said as she watched Odalia argue with Alador. "And because Mom's new weapons have had no success against the Darkloids, especially when they helped in getting GrandeurMan away from Latissa, she's been on edge paying for damages and deaths of the employees she sent to die. Good thing they're not gonna be inventing anything else any time soon."
"Mittens, is that you?"
"Titan darn it." Amity swore.
"You can come in, I wanted to speak with you." Odalia said, trying to remain calm.
Amity took a deep breath and walked into the office, doing her best to pocket away her Scroll PET.
"You have been ignoring me when I try to call you." Odalia said.
"I've been… having problems lately," Amity replied. "When Penelope became the newest Darkloid, Pandora, she stole my necklace. I'm surprised you didn't notice."
"I really don't like hearing about these Darkloids, but in this case, knowing one of them stole your necklace… that seems to not concern you as much as I thought it would," Odalia said. "Surely, you would want a new one."
"I'm fine without it," Amity replied, feeling the outline where the necklace used to be. It had been a week since it was taken, but the mark still had yet to completely fade. "I don't want to waste money on any new jewelry."
"Wait," Odalia said, seeing where Amity placed her Scroll PET as she continued to feel the mark. "What. Is. That?"
Amity gulped as Alador looked on curiously as well. She sighed and took out her Scroll PET, showing it off to both of her parents.
"It's just my Scroll." Amity said as Hecate kept the screen turned off so that Odalia would not see her.
"Or rather, that Scroll PET that Luzura Incorporated is handing out!" Odalia snapped, getting up and walking over. "Are you going to tell me that you have one of those smaller servants there too?"
"NetNavis aren't servants!" Amity snapped back as she turned on the screen, finally showing Hecate, who kept a cool demeanor in Odalia's presence. "She's a friend… someone I can trust. Someone who inspires me to make the best decisions I have ever made ever since my attitude at the Covention."
"Oh, this is ridiculous," Odalia said, snatching the Scroll PET and looking at Hecate. "How could you get dragged into this, Mittens? I thought you were loyal to your family."
"And my friends," Amity replied. "I don't know why you think a family that shares no interest in what we want is more important than our own interests."
"Well, for that, I'll be holding onto this," Odalia said, walking back to her desk. "You won't be getting this for at least until the school year ends."
"About that…" Amity said, holding her palm open.
Odalia gasped as the Scroll PET disappeared from her hand, and reappeared back into Amity's waiting hand. She growled and grabbed her amulet, causing a spectral hand to grab the Scroll PET, only for it to shatter upon trying to grab it away again.
"What are you doing?!" Odalia exclaimed.
"An anti-theft protocol, courtesy of my friend, Luz Noceda," Amity replied. "It won't go with anyone who has it taken from them against their will. It will always stay with me, and don't think I'll even tell you how to bypass it."
"Amazing," Alador said as Odalia turned to him, still snarling. "Perhaps if I had my own…"
"We do not buy from competitors!" Odalia chastised.
"I didn't buy it. She gave it to me, because I asked for them," Amity said, turning around and creating a Spell Circle, opening the door. "I think we're done here. See you later." She said, walking out and down the stairs.
Odalia stood aghast at what had just happened, and started to clench her fists. Seeing objects around them start to float, Alador walked towards the back door and closed it, only hearing a screech and the sound of items being thrown everywhere as he made his way out into Bonesborough, unaware that Amity was walking there as well.
Elsewhere, near a shack at Bonesborough, Boscha was walking. As she was making her way towards it, she passed Eileen, who had her own Scroll PET, a yellow and aqua-colored one with a single-eyed face for a Crest, conversing with a student from St. Epiderm, who was in awe at the Scroll PET. A holographic screen appeared, and it showed a NetNavi who had the same crest, and had eyes on different parts of their body while using two swords against another NetNavi.
"Eileen too?!" Boscha whispered to herself before seeing Amelia at a stand talking with Skara and Cat. "Again with her…"
"So, you named yours Prairie?" Amelia asked, showing off her green Scroll PET to Cat and Skara.
"Yeah, and she's the best," Cat said, showing off a blue medical-themed Navi. "Luz really knows how to make the best Navis."
"You should see mine," Amelia said, showing off her own Navi, who had a clover for her emblem, and had a plant theme to her armor. "I call her Eratoeir."
"Looks like we'll all be besties when it comes to NetBattles!" Skara cheered before walking off. "See you at the announcement!"
"Well, it can't get worse…" Boscha said before coming around a bend, where several other students from Hexside, as well as some teachers even, had Scroll PETs and Navis of their own, showing them off or NetBattling. "This is a nightmare. Wake me when it's over!" she almost hollered before fainting with a completely red face.
"Let's see," Luz said back at the Owl House, looking through her laptop. "Still gotta figure out how to make more special Navis with my limited Custom Burn Discs, more Battle Chips soon to be resolved, and what exactly Wily was up to," she said to Azura. "Am I missing anything?"
"No, I think that's it," Azura said before a screen popped up. "Guess they managed to get Higsby."
Luz smiled before the face of Higsby appeared on her monitor. In the background was Shuko and Chisao.
"Hey, Luz," Higsby said with a smile. "Lan told me that you wanted to talk to me. Something about a big business expansion?"
"Good to see you too, Higsby," Luz said with a smile. "See, where I am, I'm just introducing NetBattling and the history of it all from Earth. And get this, they need new Battle Chips."
"How can I help?" Higsby asked. "I'm always happy to sell to new NetBattlers, young and old."
"I'm sending you a warp point code, where a Chip Shop in this new NetCity is set up already," Luz said. "There will be a conversion for the currency here, snails, to Zennies. A lot of the people here in the Demon Realm have a lot of money, but I've prepared some reasonable prices for the Chips just in case. You can modify them if you want, but know that this will be helping out new NetBattlers here."
"Well, the prices ARE reasonable," Higsby said as NumberMan appeared on another screen, looking over the price list that Luz had sent. "We'll get some Chips set up once I get the code, and you'll have a seller for Battle Chips in that Demon Realm in no time. And don't worry, I won't tell a single soul in the public domain about that place. Dr. Hikari, Mr. Dr. Possible and your Mom all told me about it, so you have my word."
"Thanks, Higsby!" Luz replied before King came over. "Gotta go, I'll see you soon with Navi and Witch customers!" she promised before ending the call.
"Eda's ready, Luz," King said. "Can I ride in your bag?"
"Sure thing," Luz said, picking up a tote bag, which King hopped into, before picking up her PET. "Let's get going!"
A little while later, near a stage by the market, many Witches and Demons were crowded around. Lilith smiled as she walked to the back, where Luz, Amity, Skara and the rest of the Hexside gang were getting ready, with Luz wearing special gauntlets over her hands.
"They're set," Eda said to Lilith. "Thanks for approving of this, Lily."
"If it stops more unnecessary deaths, and improves the Isles, I'm happy to help," Lilith said before smiling at Luz. "Thank you for all you have done."
"I'm happy to help," Luz said before walking out. "Let's go."
As soon as Luz was gone, Lilith turned to where Luz's stuff was. She was about to turn back until she saw something that made her gasp, the book on Mr. Wily.
"Where did she get that?" Lilith demanded Eda anxiously.
"The Bonesborough library had it, or something like that?" Eda replied. "Lily, she knew that man in the Human Realm too. If he's actually back from what I've been told…"
"Keep this to a minimum," Lilith advised. "Don't let anyone else know until we get the old gang together to talk about this."
"You think they'll know what to do?" Eda asked.
"We have to be," Lilith said. "You know what he did!"
"And I don't want Luz to worry," Eda said, looking to the stage. "Let's let her have this moment. No one wants to run ragged like she had been."
"I am here to show you all a way to defend yourself against upcoming Darkloid and/or Virus attacks, in case they ever try to harm innocent lives again," Luz said. She held out one of her gloved hands and clenched her fist, letting a Vulcan arm appear before doing the same with her other, revealing a Katana Battle Chip blade. Everyone was in awe as she turned and shot at Gus, who used another pair to create a Barrier that blocked the Vulcan. She turned back as everyone cheered. "From my realm, I bring to you the Battle Chip Gauntlets! These require no Battle Chips to be loaded in them. They have all kinds of Battle Chips within them for combat. Not as strong as weapons would be during CrossFusion, but still strong enough to damage any Darkloid and/or Virus. Included is a safety feature so that they can only be used on Darkloids and Viruses, so no need to worry about harming anyone by accident. They will be free for the first week, with a starting price of fifty snails for each pair afterwards."
"Reasonable price," Eda said. "She's a real pro at this kind of stuff."
Afterwards, Luz cleared her throat. "Now, to those who have their Scroll PETs and NetNavis, put on the contacts that were provided. For those without any, watch closely." She instructed. As soon as she said this, several people in the audience put on special contacts, similar to the Cyber Contacts in Luz's possession.
"What are you playing at, child?" Odalia asked, watching the announcement be broadcast through her crystal ball in Blight Manor.
"In my realm, there is a special place for Navis to gather. Whether it be hanging out and socializing or NetBattling. A place known as NetCity," Luz started as she paced around, with pictures of NetCity showing up on a projector crystal ball behind her and her friends. "When Azura and I arrived here, we had discovered something similar. After weeks of preparing, it is finally ready," she announced before snapping her fingers. As she did, the projection changed while for those with contacts on, their surroundings changed to show the Demon Realm's NetCity. "I open to the public a new world of the Demon Realm's network, for Navis and all people alike to explore. MagiNet City is officially open!"
Everyone looked at MagiNet City in awe, either seeing it through their contacts or through the projection.
"And I have been made well aware of the casualties in trying to combat Darkloids and Viruses before I have revealed all of this," Luz went on as everyone turned back to her, MagiNet City disappearing around them. "I find it a grand gesture for you to perform a civic duty in trying to combat the Cyber threats, but know that they are unlike whatever you may have faced before," she said. "While it was out of my hands, I accept responsibility for not giving you a proper way to fight back before. Know that no matter what, no matter if people lose trust in me, I will fight for you," she said before placing her Progress PET out, immediately CrossFusing with Azura. "For the future of the Demon Realm and all those who wish to see a new tomorrow."
Amity and Skara looked to each other and nodded. They walked up alongside Luz and held out their own PETs as well, immediately CrossFusing and standing with Luz. Gus and Willow walked alongside them as well before Eda joined in.
Everyone in the crowds cheered at this, including Alador, who was watching from a further distance, and now with his own Scroll PET floating alongside him. It was colored different dark shades of magenta, and had a crest on that that depicted an Abomination head.
"Well, she sure is brave," a voice said, watching from another location. With the individual was Katya, who had her own PET, navy and scarlet, and with a crest that depicted a bat head on it. "You weren't kidding when you said she was special, Katya."
"And I think she could prove to be quite an ally to us in our crusade," Katya said. "Mx. Whispers, trust me when I say this, she is the kind of person who believes in making the world a better place."
"Well, I'm all for it, as long as we watch and see how things unfold for her," Raine Whispers said as they looked to their Scroll PET, which was dark-ruby and white. A white-robed Navi with dark skin, and a gold helm with a green U shape for their crest appeared, matching the crest on the PET. "She's definitely caught our interest, hasn't she, Serenade?"
"You bet," Serenade replied. "I look forward to meeting her when you do, Raine."
"They are quite the Navi you have, Mx. Whispers." Katya mused.
"When we're ready, we'll see what she offers," Raine said. "Thank you again, Katya. With these new developments, we just might have a chance against Belos after all."
Afterwards, Luz and her friends were making their way out of Bonesborough as people took out snails and made their way to her, who, just like her friends, were all in awe at experiencing MagiNet City.
"I can't wait to meet with other Navis there." Hecate said to Melody.
"Just think, ShadeMan won't have a chance now that we're being ready for him and his army." Melody said.
From the shack above, watching Luz and her friends leave to the Owl House, was Boscha. She looked at everything in amazement before looking to her books. She opened one and placed her hand on a drawing she made, one of a three-eyed Navi with flaming wrecking balls in her hands. She sighed before looking back at Luz, who was now being flown to the Owl House by Eda.
"One day, maybe." Boscha said, still in awe at MagiNet City, just as everyone else was.
The only exception was Odalia, who slammed her fist onto her desk so hard that it cracked.
"An entire city for these Navis, and in a different plane of reality out of my reach?!" Odalia exclaimed. "And Amity is a part of it too! I guess I will have to come up with something creative to rival this, and her… CrossFusion… hmm, yes," she said with a devious grin. "Game on, Luz Noceda."
Later on, Luz was showing her friends the base she and Azura had found. Amity, Gus, Skara and Willow all looked around in awe at the place.
"We're still trying to find out more, but I figured this could be a clubhouse of sorts for us." Luz suggested.
"Well, I could use a home away from home," Amity said. "What will sleepovers be like?"
"Well, there's enough room for beds to be set up," Luz said, getting Amity's eyes wide and a blush to appear. "We could stay and hang out whenever we like."
"Oh, wow…" Amity said, her face going red. "Fun."
"Yeah, that sounds great!" Skara agreed. "And that reminds me, now that you've got us helping your business, I was able to get my hands on one of my family's old warehouses. Consider yourself welcome there whenever you need supplied."
"We can all pitch in." Gus added on.
"Luz, you should look at this," Azura said, looking to the monitor. Everyone turned to see it show MagiNet City, now full. Several screens were displayed, each showing a different location. Some Navis were NetBattling. Others were trading Battle Chips, and NumberMan was at a set up shop selling Battle Chips to any NetNavi that was coming over. "Business is booming. You're getting a lot of investors and a lot of money for what you've put out," she went on. "I'm getting messages on job offers and partnership requests from other businesses, but I don't think you're that kind of person."
"Azura, you should know Luz. She's not doing this for fame," Willow said. "It's for the safety of everyone that she's doing all of this."
"Yeah," Luz said. "I'll look over all of them, but for now, I'm Hexside, through and through."
"Looks like Cat and Amelia have already gotten busy making a mark in the NetBattles," Amity said, seeing the names Cat Manx and Amelia Pond on a NetBattle leader-board on one of the large screens around MagiNet City, under the names Elijah Avery and Morgan Terry, each name with images of their Navis. "Gonna have to try and catch up to them, Luz. Everyone seems to be getting ready for the Dem-N1 Grand Prix."
"Speaking of," Luz said, turning to Gus, handing him his Scroll PET. "I got to work on it after the assembly. Your new custom Navi is ready."
"Cool!" Gus exclaimed, seeing a Navi appear on his screen. His armor was blue, and resembled a ninja, with two swords sheathed at his side. He had dark skin, mesh in place of his bodysuit, and the same mirage Navi crest on his chest that Gus had for his PET. "Nice to meet you!"
"Same. Call me MirageMan. I look forward to our time together, Gus."
"We're gonna have a great time, MirageMan!" Gus cheered as everyone else smiled.
Upstairs, Eda was looking at the book on Mr. Wily once again. Lilith was visiting, and walked to her sister.
"Are you going to tell her?" Lilith asked.
"When the time is right," Eda said. "She's got enough on her plate. We'll tell her what Wily did… when the time is right."
Author's Notes: Well, everyone, I hoped you liked my next original chapter. Special thanks to Cloud4012 for coming up with the name for Gus's NetNavi. I'll try to have a new chapter out later on in the coming weeks. Please review, rate, and as always, if you can, PM me for anything on the story. I'm always keen to hear from you. For now, this is SuperHeroTimeFan signing off. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! See you soon!
