Chapter 23: Triple Threat V: Homecoming

Age 762 (2012), Paprika Wasteland, Chikyu

"Well, well, if it isn't Kakarot." Vegeta sneered as he watched Chikyu's hero materialize beside Krillin.

The normally jovial Saiyan scowled, not even sparing Vegeta a passing glance. His main priority right now was his son- his enemy could wait. This was not a state any father hoped to find their son in.

"You're finally here! I knew you'd come back!" Krillin cheerfully exclaimed as he eyed his best friend. It had only been a year, but it had felt like ages since he had seen his one-time rival.

Forcing a smile, Goku turned to face the former monk. He wished he could share his enthusiasm but the battered form of his only son had sucked any joy from the occasion. "I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner."

A look of despair washed over the Saiyan's face as he uttered the words. Krillin had never seen him like this before. "At least you came though," The former monk chuckled as he tried to lighten the mood. "We held out for as long as could."

Judging from the state of his clothing- it had been one hellacious battle. Krillin's power had grown significantly since their last meeting, he was probably capable of defeating Raditz on his own now. The same could be said for Gohan. Even though his son was severely weakened, his power level was still staggering considering his age. Piccolo had truly trained him well.

Piccolo…

Goku's thoughts quickly shifted to his arch-nemesis. His energy signal was nowhere to be found on the battlefield, which only meant one thing.

"Did he kill Piccolo?" Goku asked as he motioned towards a grinning Vegeta.

"He did." Krillin solemnly replied. He hadn't even been given time to properly grieve yet.

Goku's fist balled as he grit his teeth. There was already far too much blood spilled today. While alive he and Piccolo hadn't been on the best of terms, but Ma Junior had trained his son, and for that alone, he owed him greatly.

"Piccolo died protecting Gohan."

Goku's brows rose in immediate shock at Krillin's words. He had simply assumed the former demon king had died during the battle, but never would he have imagined it being so valiant. Piccolo must have had a true change of heart while I was dead. I would never have expected this!

"Yes, the Namekian died, just as you shall. I can't believe you have Saiyan blood pumping through your veins, yet you reminisce like some adolescent schoolgirl. How pitiful," Vegeta interrupted, instantly souring the mood. "The planet has truly domesticated you Kakarot."

"Goku…my name is Goku!" Diana's husband angrily shouted as he took a step forward. Being a Saiyan wasn't anything he reveled in. So far every member of his race had proven to be a bloodthirsty murderer. His own brother had tried to kill him during their initial meeting!

"A dead man's name means little to me. Soon you'll be reacquainted with that worthless Namekian you seem to love so much Kakarot."

"I'm going to give you one last chance to leave this planet Vegeta, after this, I won't show you any mercy."

"Mercy? From you? How preposterous!" Vegeta exclaimed as he clutched his ribs, sarcastically howling at Goku's words. "After I get done with you I'm going to take my time stampeding across this entire planet. You've all earned my ire."

"At least I tried," Goku mumbled to himself as he once again turned in Krillin's direction. "Can you watch Gohan for me?"

"O-of course," Krillin immediately said with no hesitation. "I'm here for whatever you need."

Goku smiled at this. If there was any person he could depend on, it was his fellow turtle hermit pupil.

"How powerful is he Krillin?"

"I only saw what I assume to be a fraction of his power, but it was more than we could handle. The only reason I wasn't completely obliterated was because of Gohan."

"Gohan?" Goku repeated in shock. His son's power had grown tremendously but he would have never imagined that it grew to this extent.

"Yes," Krillin nodded, his tone reflecting Goku's shock. "He went ballistic after Piccolo died, and rightfully so. This strange red aura overtook him momentarily changing the tide of the as quick as it appeared, it vanished. I don't know what it was but it helped Gohan keep up with Vegeta, if only for a little bit."

Goku's concern rose as his eyes darted over to his unconscious son, now slumped over in Krillin's arms. He knew Gohan possessed great potential but had never seen what Krillin had described. He hadn't even sensed his son's energy before he'd arrived. He had simply assumed that Vegeta had attacked Gohan in a one-sided affair, but that was clearly not the case.

"Looks like I'll have to move the battle from here." The landscape had already been torched from the earlier battle and Goku couldn't afford to put his son in harm's way again.

"You need to be extremely careful Goku, you've never faced anyone like him before." Krillin tried to stress the seriousness of this situation to him. His best friend had a tendency to take things lightheartedly, even when it came to dangerous villains like Piccolo, but that could not be afforded here.

"I understand completely," Goku said in all seriousness. Vegeta had already killed one of his comrades, not to mention the innumerable lives that had been taken in New York. "Vegeta will pay for his crimes."

"Are you finally prepared to fight or are you going to converse with that bald fool over there all day?" Vegeta scoffed, his irritation having finally reached its peak.

"I'm ready," Goku calmly stated. "But we need to move our fight somewhere else. You already damaged this area pretty badly. "

"Whatever, it makes no difference where we fight considering the result will still be the same Kakarot."

"Since you're so confident, I'll lead the way then." Without a further word, the spiky-haired Saiyan levitated into the air with Vegeta quickly following his lead. In less than a minute the duo was off, a sonic boom erupting as they departed.

Good luck Goku, you're the only one who can pull this off.

Age 762 (2012), Mojave Desert, USA

Superman's eyes widened as Turles hand tightened around Chiaotzu's neck. Though the Saiyan's speed was too great for him to react to, his heightened senses allowed him to keep track of him. The former assassin gargled as Turles palm began to glow, an orange light emitting from it. Immediately Clark could tell that nothing good was going to come from this, Chiaotzu's heart rate was increasing dramatically. The mime's body began to expand exponentially, a rapid growth spreading downward from his skull. It was then that Kal-El realized what was going on.

Oh no!

But by then it was far too late. In a desperate act, Superman's hands outstretched hoping to claw away at the Saiyan, but to no avail. In the fraction of a second Chiaotzu exploded, the resulting detonation flinging the nearby heroes far away. Tien was the first to recover, his body eventually skidding to a halt nearly a mile away. Kal-El's recovery was much slower though, having endured the most damage from the blast.

As Tien finally managed to rise to his feet his third eye enlarged, noting the apparent lack of Chiaotzu's energy signal. He had assumed his ever-present companion had been merely been blasted away like the rest of group, but he was nowhere to be found. As his eyes glanced over to the scene of the crime he saw…nothing. There wasn't even a speck of dust blowing in the wind. It was like Chiaotzu had never even been there.

"If you're looking for your friend- you won't find him. That little punk is dead." Turles whispered into Tien's ear, catching the Triclops by complete surprise as he suddenly appeared behind him. "But that's of no consequence to you, seeing as you'll be joining him shortly."

Tien's surprise instantly turned into anger as he rotated around, his hand extending in a fist as he took aim at the Saiyan. But his strike was met with the passing breeze as Turles promptly vanished, reappearing in the skies above.

"That was quite slow, even for you. You must really be getting tired now."

The three-eyed warrior scowled before summoning his Ki as he rocketed into the air. Superman could only watch helplessly as his friend recklessly charged into battle. Chiaotzu's death had truly taken him over the edge. Normally the former crane student would have thought tactically, but now there was nothing but blind rage on his mind.

"Stop Tien!"

The words fell on deaf ears as former assassin continued his charge. Turles was greeted with a fist to the face as Tien struck. The Saiyan remained impassive, the blow seeming to barely affect him as Tien trudged on. Fist after tireless fist struck, each blow more powerful than the last but Turles maintained ground, unflinching. Frustration began to mount as Tien began to siphon Ki into his attacks, but the result remained the same.

Without breaking a sweat Goku's doppelganger evaded the next flurry of Tien's attack. Out of all the opponents, he had faced so far on this planet, the Triclops had been the most technical. The Kryptonian outclassed him in raw strength but was unskilled, and almost laughably so. Tien's discipline and abilities had made him the most dangerous opponent thus far. But that discipline was nowhere to be found now. There was no coordination in his attacks

Previously everything had been carefully thought out. Every fist, knee, and chop had flowed together in a rhythmic routine. If Turles speed had not been so vastly superior he would have taken tremendous damage. But with the Earthling's rage overtaking every logical facet of his brain, his moves and actions were predictably discernable. A sloppy punch here, an overextended kick there- he wasn't even breaking a sweat now.

As another ill-advised strike breezed by overhead, Turles began to chuckle. Not only were Tien's attacks lackadaisical, they were beginning to display signs of fatigue. The sweat brimming from the Triclops forehead was evident enough as his next frontal assault, this time coming in the form of a jab, was effortlessly slapped away. Turles grin grew wide as Tien began to backtrack, taking a moment to catch his breath.

If the Saiyan's scouter had been present he would have been able to notice the significant drop in the Earthling's power level. Tien's breathing grew heavier with each passing moment. At this point, he was nearly running on fumes. Down below the man of steel was still collecting himself from the earlier explosion. Coupled with the pummeling he had taken prior to the onset of Tien's arrival, Superman would be incapacitated for the duration of this struggle.

Tien was truly on his own. Even though his power was diminishing with every fleeting moment, the former assassin wouldn't have had it any other way. If he were slain in battle here at the very least he would be able to inflict some kind of damage that would assist Superman later on. As much as he hated to admit it, that was likely where this battle was headed.

I'm running out of time…and energy. I have to find a way to end this as quickly as possible. A close encounter won't do anything and has already proven to be useless. All I can really do is pour my energy into one last final attack and hope for the best.

Folding his hands into a triangle shape, Tien raised his hands to his chest. Blood from the assortment of scars and bruises he had sustained dripped down his fingers as he positioned himself. Even at full power, the technique he was about to attempt was incredibly dangerous and strenuous to use. But now, in a weakened state, it was sure to kill him. But he had no other choice. Turles grin dissipated into a look of curiosity as an orange haze began to emit from the Triclops fingers.

Age 762 (2012), Gizard Wasteland, Chikyu

Goku peered through his peripheral as he blazed through the skies. Glancing backward, he noted the agitated look on Vegeta's face. They had been traveling for several minutes now the prince's patience was beginning to wear. Chikyu's hero had planned on wasting as much time as possible and distancing himself as much as he could from Paprika Wasteland. Things had been going good up until now

"Kakarot, do you take me for a fool? Stop dawdling around, I know you've been merely trying to waste my time. I should kill you right now where you stand for such stupidity!"

Goku immediately frowned, the Saiyan had discovered his true intentions. "I'm not wasting your time Vegeta. I'm just looking for the best place to hold this battle, I don't want to endanger any more lives."

Nappa's former comrade merely scoffed. "Still underestimating my intelligence? We're surrounded by nothing! Stop delaying the inevitable Kakarot!"

Goku inhaled, taking a deep breath. "Fine. Over there looks suitable for our battle." Goku pointed a hundred yards in front of them, his finger outstretching towards the Gizard Wasteland.

The prince nodded and quickened the pace of his flight mimicking the actions of his foe. As the two warriors finally arrived, they descended from the sky and landed on two opposing pillars of stone.

"Kakarot I have a proposition for you," Goku blinked in surprise, perturbed as to what Vegeta was offering. "I'll only repeat this once- join me in my conquest," The shock that once blanketed Goku's face evaporated, revealing a disgusted scowl. "You and I are all that remain of the Saiyan race now. Though your power remains to be seen, I am assured by your mere confidence in even opposing me, that you are more powerful than Nappa," Vegeta paused momentarily, collecting himself."Join me and we can conqueror this planet! That is your only option besides death."Vegeta finished rather grimly. And besides, you'll be of some use to me against Frieza if that time ever comes.

Goku remained silent, his hands rubbing his chin as he mused over the offer."You want me to join you?" He asked incredulously. That notion alone was ridiculous. "No thanks, I've already seen what a bloodthirsty monster you are. I will never join you! And besides, you have another Saiyan who you brought to this planet along with you. Don't lie to me!"

"Another Saiyan?" Vegeta muttered in confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"You really don't know?" Goku's mouth hung wide as the prince glared at him. The massive Ki signal in America has nothing to do with him?Is there third Saiyan that he doesn't even know about? Or is Tien's opponent even a Saiyan at all?

"I have no clue what you're referring to, but it matters little to me. I offered you the chance to save your own life, and you so rudely spit in my face. You and your pitiful son can die along with these Earthlings that you seem to love so much."

Goku growled at the mention of Gohan. "You'll never touch ahair on him! You can threaten me all you want, but you already crossed the line by harming my him!" Calming himself, Goku dispersed his rising aura that had momentarily begun to rise.

"I have an offer for you as well Vegeta, and it's one I'll only offer once. Leave this planet and never come back!"

Vegeta merely smirked. "Am I supposed to have some pitiful change of heart because of some mere words? I am not like these pathetic Earthlings you're so used to dealing with. What kind of Saiyan are you anyway, offering you opponent an opportunity to escape a fight?"

"I already told you…..I AM NOT A SAIYAN!"

Vegeta chuckled at his impassioned reaction. "Believe what you will Kakarot but the supreme blood of the Saiyan race flows through you! You are a Saiyan, regardless of whatever propaganda and nonsense that these Earthlings have fed you! But enough with this banter, I came here to fight and kill you!"

Normally Goku would have been appalled by such a statement, but he surprisingly felt the same way. " You've threatened me, my family, and the planet I call home. It's time to pay. No more talking!'

"Yes, it is." Vegeta agreed as he slid into a fighting pose. Sliding his right leg out front, he outstretched his left arm. Opening his clenched fist, he shifted it into a claw. He turned his other fist into an open palm and stood awaiting his opponent's next move.

Goku mimicked the prince and dropped into his own fighting stance. Sliding his left leg in front of him, he coiled his left arm back. Outstretching his arm, he balled his right hand into a fist and stood, awaiting any sign of weakness.

Both warriors remained still, in their individual battle stances, while they observed each other. Being experienced fighters, they immediately recognized the openings in each other's guards. Vegeta's stance left his right side open for a frontal attack, while Goku's stance left him unprepared for attacks from behind.

Though the two stances had openings, they knew they couldn't be capitalized on. Vegeta's guard would be too tight to even allow Goku an inch. With his elbow coiled back, Goku was already in place to strike back if he were somehow attacked from behind. His split second response would leave Vegeta running on his heels. The two warriors simply smiled as they strengthened their forms. The battle was already a stalemate and a single blow hadn't even been thrown yet.

A cool wind blew by from the east, tossing tumbleweeds and flinging light objects into the air. It was in the split second that Vegeta glanced away from his opponent, which Goku decided to strike. Vegeta instantly noticed him charging and cursed under his breath.

Leaping from the pillar, Goku quickly arrived in front of the prince and thrust his fist forward. Goku's eyes widened as the prince suddenly sidestepped it, causing him to stumble forward. He quickly regained himself in time to catch Vegeta's right fist from the side.

Vegeta's eyes widened at his quick reaction but immediately dismissed it. The prince quickly leaned back as Goku launched his own blow. Catching Goku's left knuckle, the prince took a brief moment to gloat in his face. Goku growled at his cocky expression before he leaned forward, smashing his skull into the prince's face.

The Saiyan stumbled back in pain from the unexpected blow but quickly composed himself. His distilled vision cleared in time to give him an ample view of a brand new fist approaching his face. Vegeta was powerless to stop it from colliding and stumbled back again as it struck.

Goku instantly capitalized on the opening and launched a barrage of attacks at the prince, who was defenseless to stop them. After several seconds of punishment, Vegeta regained himself, and flared his aura to life, sending Goku flying back.

The prince immediately rushed forward, cocking his fist back. He was greatly circumvented as it passed through an after image. Pausing, he took a moment to glance for his opponent. He quickly found him as Goku materialized before him with his fist plunged deep in the confines of his stomach. A spit laden gasp escaped Vegeta's lips as he staggered back. His body exploded with pain once more, Goku's right arm decking him across the face.

The quick bombardment ended as Goku retreated back several steps. Cupping his hands together he began his infamous chant. Vegeta, who had recovered from the blows, looked up and immediately recognized the attack.

"Kamehameha!"

The blue orb of light surged forward, streaking towards Vegeta. An explosion, followed by a kick up of dust ensued, as beam landed. Dropping his hands, Goku stood hopefully awaiting the result of his attack. He gasped as he observed his missing foe.

"Up here Kakarot."

Goku instantly snapped his head around to the clouds above.

"You'll have to do better than that if you expect to actually harmme." Goku scowled. Every attack and missed opportunity in this battle would matter. He'd just wasted a good amount of Ki on that Kamehameha too. He couldn't afford to needlessly expend energy like that.

Stirring from his musings, he looked up in time to see Vegeta descending from the sky. Frowning, he quickly slid into a battle stance and prepared himself.

Vegeta arrived, lashing out with multiple fists, all of which were embedded with Ki. Goku's frown depended as he struggled to evade or parry the blows- but seemingly to no avail. The intensity of the strikes only increased, as the two warriors danced across several rock pillars. After minutes of fighting a losing battle, Goku conceded and leaped into the sky.

"Running I see, it still won't help you though."

Goku's eyes widened as Vegeta phased from sight, completely disappearing from the slab of stone. Diana's husband was unable to visibly locate the prince, but felt pain echo through his back as a foot propelled him towards a cliff. Flipping, Goku used his momentum to spring off the rock and bounce back towards his attacker.

As he finally got within distance, Goku attempted a quick jab but was halted as Vegeta's fist slammed into his nose. Diana's husband gasped as he swore he felt his nasal bridge collapse. Still stunned from the bone snapping blow, Goku was unable to prepare himself for the vicious kick to the that quickly followed it.

He gasped again, his legs buckling under the force of the blow. He received another, bone-shattering strike, that sent him soaring through the azure sky. His flight ended as he finally collided with a rock pillar, shattering it on impact.

"It appears you're not so powerful after all. My assumptions were completely unfounded." Goku arose to the prince's taunting. Summoning his aura, he burst free from the rubble.

In a flash Goku dashed off, outstretching his arm as he slammed his fist into Vegeta's open mouth. The prince flew back, stunned, feeling his jaw crack from the pressure. He was quickly subjected to a brutal bombardment of punches, each mightier than the last. Seemingly after an eternity, the assault ended with an armor cracking blow.

Goku then retreated slightly as Vegeta took some time to wipe his face.

"Impressive, I actually felt those attacks. There may be hope for you yet!"

On the last syllable, Vegeta lashed out with a fist, which managed to catch Goku by surprise. Chikyu's hero flew back, staggering from the unexpected blow. Seizing the moment, Vegeta instantly dashed forward, his hand cocked back.

As he arrived in front of a helpless Goku, he uncoiled his fist. A massive clap of thunder echoed as Goku was sent soaring through the dozens of clouds. After a minute of uncontrolled flying, Goku regained himself. Flashing his aura briefly, he charged back towards Vegeta.

The prince instantly noticed him and mirrored his actions. The two warriors rushed towards one another, eventually converging halfway. The resulting shockwave caused both warriors to roar back.

Vegeta was the first to recover and quickly dashed back over to Goku. Springing his foot forward, he launched a roundhouse kick at Diana's husband. Luckily for Goku though, he was quick enough to dodge it, managing to duck underneath it.

Jumping right up, Goku launched an uppercut at the prince's chin. It landed, elevating Vegeta even higher into the sky. Unrelenting, Gohan's father quickly followed up, a combo of hasty jabs and punches preceding his every step.

Vegeta meanwhile was left powerless, unable to evade or block the attacks and was forced to take the onslaught. The intensity of the attack's picked up as Goku noticed the prince's indifferent reaction to his attacks. He was perturbed as to why the Saiyan remained so calm, even as he received a beating from every perceivable angle. Letting his curiosity get the best of him, Goku halted his flurry and retreated.

"Why are you so calm? That last combo had enough power to flatten an island."

Vegeta merely grinned, wiping some trickling blood from his nose. "Because Kakarot, I haven't even begun to use a fractionof my true power!"

Goku smirked at his words, much to the prince's bewilderment. "I haven't gone all out yet either, in fact, I'm still getting warmed up." Vegeta's eyebrow rose at this, pondering the veracity of Goku's words.

"Really? You've been holding back too? I think it's time the gloves come off then Kakarot. I want to see your full power!"

"Your wish is my command!"

Goku's voice rose at the last syllable, his aura sparking once more. The light breeze instantly warped into a vortex of all-consuming wind. The sky darkened, and the sun became eclipsed by the now tenebrous clouds above. The ground below began shaking and quivering uncontrollably.

Multiple mountains began crumbling, even the ground itself began to split from the force. With a final shout, the abrupt hurricane dispersed as quickly as it had formed, leaving Goku with his aura blazing at the center of it.

"Satisfied?"

A thin smile crept onto Vegeta's face. "Impressive as that little show of dust and wind was, you've still failed to dazzle me. It's truly a shame Kakarot, even at your maximum power you fail to even touch an ounce of my full strength. Soon you will realize why I am the prince of all Saiyans!"

Goku was taken back as Vegeta suddenly lunged towards him, aura blazing. The prince's gloved fist landed harshly against his face, a scream of despair eliciting from his lungs. A quick knee to the gut crumpled Chikyu' hero to his knees. Clutching his gut while gasping for air, Goku was unable to defend himself against the roundhouse kick that collided with his skull.

Goku's vision blurred as he flew back, staggering from the pain. His eyes eventually refocused, just in time to see Vegeta's left fist approach his face. His jaw cracked as he received the blow, evoking a yelp of anguish.

He was given no time to recover as Vegeta capitalized on the massive opening, taking his sweet time to thoroughlypunish Goku. With each shout given, the pain only intensified for Goku. The prince's blows quickened as he observed the pain the younger Saiyan was in. Vegeta's smile expanded as Goku's blood began to splash onto his clothing.

The pace of the strikes abated as the prince realized he was falling prey to his blood lust. His unyielding desire for destruction had always been a major problem for him. Since his days at the academy training as a PTO soldier, he had been warned about falling victim to such feelings. Throwing one last, spleen-shattering punch, he backed off, momentarily allowing Goku to collect himself.

"You're…not...so….tough..." Goku huffed weakly as he gripped his aching side. "My son can hit harder than that."

Vegeta growled at the sheer gall of his opponent. Even while getting trounced he still maintained a jovial visage. "You still have the nerve to talk to me like that Kakarot? I guess I'll have to break that jaw of yours then!"

The prince dashed off hoping to catch Goku off guard, unfortunately for him, though, Goku was on full alert. Catching the prince's fist, Goku launched one of his own, only for it to end up in the confines of Vegeta's glove. The two warriors crossed gazes as their hands locked together. A battle of wit and strength ensued as the two opposing fighters struggled to gain the upper hand.

After an intense staredown, and bone snapping wrestling, Vegeta gained the upper hand. In a swift motion, the prince quickly tossed Goku aside, sending him soaring into the distance.

Summoning his aura, Vegeta charged to re-engage Diana's husband. Cocking his fist back, he thrust it forward only for it to harmlessly pass through an after image. The prince growled as his eyes furiously darted around, attempting to locate Goku.

He finally found him, spotting the spiky haired Saiyan just yards ahead of him, cupping his hands together in an all too familiar motion.

"Kakarot that technique won't work on me- you should know that by now!" Vegeta screeched rocketing towards him in a trail of niveous light. As he neared arrival with his opponent, the prince discharged several beams of ki from his grasp, shattering the once pristine silence of the valley.

Age 762 (2012), Mojave Desert, USA

A seething light overtook the sky forcing Clark to shield his eyes. He had just now barely recovered from the previous assault and was helpless in assisting his comrade. Tremendous gusts of winds overtook the landscape as Superman struggled to remain entrenched in the surface. He could only hope and pray that Tien's latest valiant effort would be enough to seriously injure Turles. The Earth's heroes were already dwindling in number.

As the scorching rays finally began to recede Tien's hands dropped to his side, his breath heavy as he hopefully looked on. He could feel his Ki depleting with every passing second, in seconds he wouldn't even be able to maintain flight. That final attack was his magnum opus and if it failed- there would be nothing left. That was for you Chiaotzu!

As the clouds of smoke finally dispersed it gave way to an unharmed Turles. The Saiyan's countenance was completely different now. The proud smirk that had once encompassed his face had been replaced be a scathing scowl. As he observed his palm Goku's doppelganger noted the deep scar that was now indented on his right hand. Profuse blood trickled down his palm as he stretched it.

Turning his sights back on his would-be attacker, the Saiyan refocused his attention. It had taken sheer luck for him to even grab hold of the blast. If not for perfect timing and keen instincts the full fury of the Tri-Beam would have surely overtaken him. For far too long during this battle, he had been lollygagging, perceiving his opposition to be mere jokes. But time and time again they had shown him that though they lacked the raw strength, their techniques and peculiar abilities were enough to potentially harm him.

Enough of these accursed games.

Pumping Ki into his left hand, Turles began to summon what was sure to be his most deadly attack yet. Superman could hear the accelerated pace of the Saiyan's heart rate as he zoomed towards the sky, hoping to intercept him before the shot was fired. But before either of them could do anything, Tien suddenly dropped from the sky. The Triclops eyes rolled backward as his body began to rapidly descend, no longer able to defy gravity. Turles hand slowly retracted, in great surprise, as the Earthling's body began to free fall.

Kal-El immediately switched his sights to his fallen companion, dashing off to collect him. Tien was about halfway from the ground when the man of steel's sturdy arms reached around him. A heavy sigh of relief echoed throughout the battlefield as Clark landed on the ground. That had been almost too close for comfort. But as the Kryptonian placed his fellow warrior on the ground he instantly noticed that something was wrong.

Tien's pulse is slowing down. The flow of his blood is nearing a cold stop. What happened?

Superman's eyes narrowed, using his x-ray vision to scan the Triclops. But as he examined him the man of steel failed to notice anything truly out of order. Sure, there were a couple broken bones and dislocated joints from the brutal battle earlier, but nothing life threatening. What had just occurred? Had Turles somehow attacked while he had been incapacitated? Shooting the Saiyan a glare Kal-El attempted to backtrack.

"Your friend is dying Kryptonian."

"What did you do to him?!" The man of steel demanded. "I swear if you've taken one more life.."

"I did nothing you fool," Turles scoffed, folding his arms together. "That Earthling knew what he was doing with that attack. He wasted all the remaining bits of energy that he had."

"All the energy that he had?"

"Yes, he used up all the energy that was left in his feeble body. I didn't recognize it at first until he abruptly fell from the sky. He gave everything he had in that last pitiful attack- and it still wasn't enough!" Maniacal laughter began to emit from the Saiyan's lungs.

Oh no…Tien!

Glancing back towards the Triclops Clark began frantically trying to resuscitate. He was no medic by any means but as the very least knew basic CPR. He desperately tried to use that knowledge now to save his friend but to little effect. It was far too late now- Tien was gone.

"No!"

Age 762 (2012), Gizard Wasteland, Chikyu

The numerous explosions that had once rocked the sky subdued as Vegeta lowered his hands. Crushing the beam of energy in his hands, he stood awaiting the results of his actions. As the smoke finally dissolved, Vegeta was shocked as it revealed…..nothing.

"Curse you Kakarot, where have you…!"

The prince's words were cut off mid-sentence, as a red orb of energy smashed into his face, propelling him backward. Vegeta was sent soaring for several hundreds of feet until his attacks wavelength wavered and finally died off.

"Like I said you're not so tough."

As he rolled to a stop, Vegeta wiped his face, looking up just in time to see Goku approaching with several balls of ki aimed at him. The Saiyan was powerless to defend himself and was forced to bear the full brunt of every attack. Staggering back, the prince was put on the defensive once more as Goku's knee crashed into his face. He immediately flew back, clutching his now aching head. A jaw snapping punch from Chikyu's hero quickly intensified the pain.

Vegeta attempted to block the next fist, only for it to completely tear through his guard. His face was left unprotected, giving Goku ample time to bombard it with hundreds of quick and powerful jabs. Pausing momentarily, Goku focused Ki into his fingertips and slammed the cardinal beam of light on Vegeta's chest.

The beam illuminated the battleground, revealing a proud smile on Goku's face before it blasted Vegeta into the far distance. Diana's husband immediately took off, hunting the steaming trail of smoke. As he arrived, he cocked his fist back in preparation for his next attack. But before he could uncoil it, he was hit with a rigid fist to the chin. His head jolted back, feet stumbling along with it. He then suddenly felt himself get tugged forward and came face to face with yet another fist.

WHAM! Was the noise that was heard as Goku was sent flying back. Not wasting a second Vegeta raced after him. Goku's chest exploded with pain as the prince's knee dug deep into his abdomen. Interlocking his fingers, Vegeta brought them down upon his back. Piercing pain erupted and spread across Goku's frame as he was sent soaring towards the ground below. But seconds before a disastrous collision with the ground, Goku somehow regained himself.

Flipping back around, Gohan's father hopped onto a nearby rock pillar. Vegeta grinned as he observed his movements, mirroring his actions as he landed on an opposing cliff.

"Do you still doubt my abilities Kakarot?"

"No, I never doubted your abilities Vegeta. I just don't believe you're as powerful as you claim to be. You're either bluffing or a straight liar."

Vegeta's lips twitched before a booming laugh erupted from his throat. "Your insolence amuses me Kakarot. I am still holding back, I haven't even gotten started yet."

"What are you holding back for?" Goku inquired. Vegeta's defeat would only feel satisfactory if it was with accomplished against his true power.

Vegeta settled into a fighting stance. "I don't want to destroy this planet…..yet. My true power would tear the fabric of this world."

Goku's curious nature overtook him. Was Vegeta truly telling the truth? There was only one way to truly know though. "Show me."

Vegeta's face lit up. "You're not so lacking in Saiyan blood after all Kakarot. There will be no more holding back."

"Are you going to talk all day, or are you going to show me?"

"Alright Kakarot, since asked for it I'll be more than happy to oblige.

Goku's eyes expanded tremendously as the surrounding landscape began to tremble and shake. His shock burgeoned, as the sky darkened to a tenebrous tint. The sky rippled with a bolt of pulsating thunder which struck the ground and everything surrounding it. Gale force winds picked up and intensified, encircling a now screaming Vegeta.

Unbelievable! Vegeta's power is incredible!I really thought he was just bluffing but…wow…just wow! I might have bitten off more than I can chew!

Age 762 (2012), Central City, Police Station

"I'm Linda Park live with breaking news from downtown Central City."

Barry Allen immediately straightened his posture and swiveled his chair to face the tv. He had turned it on only a second ago to alleviate himself from his current workload, and now this? What could it possibly be at this hour of the day?

A red line indicating that it was something urgent flashed below the screen as the blonde scooted in closer.

"News reports are coming in from all over the world indicating some type of weather anomaly is occurring all over across the globe. Tornadoes in Paris, monsoons in Russia, an approaching typhoon in Japan, and even here in our city the worst storm we've seen in quite some time."

The forensic scientist's eyes widened as he took a peek out of the blinds from a nearby window. The sky was pitch black, abnormal amounts of rain were descending from above. Lighting and thunder crackled overhead as denizens of the city scrambled towards safe locations. Barry had been so caught up in his work that he hadn't even noticed it all. His mother's murder, which he worked on in his spare time, had taken up all of his mental processes.

"Satellites across the globe are indicating that the source of this phenomena is somewhere in Chikyu."

"Chikyu, of course," Barry mumbled to himself. There was always something strange occurring there.

"The National Weather Service is warning anyone who is still outdoors to get inside immediately. I'll be getting to a safe location shortly as soon as-"

"As soon as? As soon as what?" Barry growled as he smacked the now blank tv, it had somehow shorted out. "Great, just great," Barry muttered as he rose from his chair. What was he going to do now?

It's probably best I stay indoors like the news report said. I'm the only one in this sector of the building, though. Deciding to have a separate office in the basement of a police station doesn't seem like such a great idea in hindsight. I can at least check in on Iris and see how she's doing though.

As Barry reached for his cell phon, which was situated across his work desk, the power suddenly went out. "Fantastic." Barry sighed as he rubbed his now aching forehead. The backup generators should have already kicked in- but they hadn't, indicating something was seriously wrong. "I know there's a flashlight around here somewhere, though."

His phone's battery was unfortunately on red, meaning the use of its flashlight app would not possible. He had to conserve what little life it had left. He would have to do this the old fashioned way. As Barry's eyes glanced around the darkened room a lightbulb went off in his head. He kept the flashlight above the chemical rack. Quickly grabbing a stool the police scientist climbed it.

"I know you're somewhere up here," Barry murmured as his hands fumbled around in the dark. "Gotcha!" the sandy-haired man exclaimed as he finally located it.

With satisfied joy, he began his descent down the stool. His heel was almost back on the ground when a lightning bolt suddenly crashed through a nearby window. The chemical rack shook, shards of glass flying everywhere. "Crap." Was all Barry could say before the entire structure collapsed on him. Hundreds of unknown chemicals doused his body as the rack gave way.

With a painful groan, the forensic scientist rose from the disheveled object. A much-needed shower after all of this was taken care of was the first thought on his mind. He immediately turned his sights towards the window, where pounding rain was seeping through. He had to somehow close it before the lab got flooded. But as he moved towards it another bolt of lightning came streaking through, this time directly striking the young man.

Barry was stunned and sent flying back as thousands of volts electrocuted him. He collapsed, screaming ferally before a red light eclipsed his vision.

Age 762 (2012), Denver, USA

Dr. Saul Erdel was a man of lofty dreams, and misguided ambition. He grew up reading the pulp novels of wordsmiths like Edgar Rice Burroughs, and Ray Bradbury. Enraptured by tales of space-men and alien civilizations, he had decided to become one of the great scientific pioneers of the 21st century. If could accomplish sublime goals such as creating capsule technology, why couldn't he succeed with his own?

Unfortunately, Erdel had no formal education and little to no money. But what little funds the scientist did possess- he invested them in his career which had spanned over thirty years of his life. He wanted to explore the stars just like his childhood heroes, Buck Rogers and John Carter. To accomplish this though he would need technology, the kind that was foreign to this planet.

Through almost sheer luck Dr. Erdel managed to get his hands on various parts and devices that he began working with. But unbeknownst to him, these instruments were actually alien technology. He eventually developed a machine designed to probe the galaxy for extraterrestrial life. After years of strenuous labor and hard work- tonight would be his crowning achievement.

"Everything seems to be in place. Earlier I feared that the new auxiliary drive wouldn't work due to the lack of a sufficient power source, but tonight's abrupt storm has provided what I need. These powerful streaks of thunder are a blessing in disguise. On with the test!"

The foolhardy scientist pressed a button on the nearby command module as the test commenced. The test tube in front of began to buzz with life. Radiant energy sizzled around his home which doubled as a laboratory.

"It's working…it's really working!" The scientist gleefully shouted as he viewed a green body begin to materialize in the tube. "This is wonderful, absolutely terrific! I couldn't have imagined it would work like…is something burning?"

His sudden joy turned to fright as his control panel began to spark. He began frantically pressing buttons, hoping any combination of them would stop this horror show. The alien body began to fully form in the tube, displaying what could only be described as a gruesome monster. It was some kind of green being with an elongated head.

What have I done? I have to get out of here as quickly as possible! I just wanted to make a scientific discovery, but I've opened Pandora's box instead!

The graying scientist made a dash towards the front door, but it was far too late by then. As his hand wavered on the doorknob an explosion occurred.

BOOM!

Age 762 (2012), Gulf of Mexico

"King Arthur we've rescued the last of the land dwellers."

"Good job Tula, now make sure you get them out of here and to safety. I have a mess to clean up."

"As you wish my liege." With a bow, the red-haired woman took her leave, departing to a nearby boat.

"Mankind never learns!" Arthur Curry growled as he gazed at the black ooze swelling in front of him.

Offshore drilling was not only dangerous to the environment, but it disrupted the ecosystem as well. But of course, those who lived above Atlantis gave no thought to that. They merely cared about maximizing profits. It mattered little if natural resources would one day be depleted because of them, or if the seas, which spanned most of the planet, had to suffer because of it. Quite frankly, the king of Atlantis was getting sick of it.

If the golden-haired king hadn't been in the area, these workers would have surely died. This sudden storm, which baffled him had come out of nowhere. Arthur had been making his regular trips around the seas, making sure everything was ok when it had happened. He was not only the king of Atlantis but was responsible for all the creatures who dwelled below the waters as well.

A light bolt had descended from the sky, inexplicably striking the oil platform. Several fires quickly ensued followed by multiple explosions which resulted in numerous deaths. Faced with life and death decisions, several of the platform's workers had taken a risky jump into the water. From that high of an altitude, coupled with that speed, several of them died, if not drowned.

Once the oil had begun to leak into the water, the king had decided to to take immediate action. Beckoning his royal guard he ordered them to rescue the civilians who were still trapped above. You can imagine their surprise when they saw 'fish-people' as they called them, emerge from the sea to rescue them. The storm was still raging, making the rescue all the more difficult, but they had managed to succeed. Now all that was left to do was to clean up their mess.

Once this is settled Atlantis and mankind are going to have a long fruitful discussion.

Age 762 (2012), Paprika Wasteland, Chikyu

Goku stood frozen in shock and terror at the energy emitting from the skies. For the past several minutes Vegeta's power had increased with his rising decibels. Each shout pushed his power further and further into the stratosphere. There truly seemed to be no climax to his abounding power.

He pondered how one being could possibly be so strong. Had his training with King Kai truly prepared him for a daunting task like this? He didn't know, but he was about to find out.

Seemingly, after an eternity, the screeching shouts that had bombarded the sky- halted. The peaceful bliss of silence filled Goku's ears once more. Quickly looking around he observed the landscape had returned to its rudimentary form.

Glancing upwards, he came into contact with Vegeta's glaring eyes. There were no distinct changes on the prince, other than the cocky grin plastered on his face. The true change was in his power level.

Goku didn't even have to focus to sense the massive energy emanating from the sky. It was massive even the average, non-Ki adept human could sense the gargantuan energy encasing the prince.

"Are you satisfied with my new power Kakarot? Quite impressive isn't it. I truly can't comprehend why you'd want to face me at this level. My power completely eclipses your own. The only analogy I can use to describe it is equating a candle to the sun."

Vegeta's smile widened as he observed the subtle changes in Goku's demeanor. Diana's husband had been tremendously confident before this show of power, but now he seriously regretting his previous words.

"I can sense the fear in you Kakarot. Your confidence has deserted you- you're afraid! It's understandable though, seeing as you're in the presence of an elite warrior such as myself. This next round will show you that a measly third class like you can't hope to compare with me."

"Spare me the arrogant speech Vegeta. I can sense the power you have now and it is massive, but I'll never know that because you seem reserved to talking me to death. I'm not afraid, I'm actually excited. I don't know why, but the prospect of fighting someone this powerful excites me. Why don't you just show me how strong you are?"

"You are correct Kakarot. I've spared you too many words during this battle, but no more! It's time for you to die!"

The words barely had time to resonate with Goku, before he observed Vegeta descending towards him. Blasting off, he attempted to meet the prince mid-way in the sky. Finally converging he cocked his fist in preparation for the imminent collision.

He was left perplexed as his fist passed through a cool breeze. He blinked momentarily before a spike in Ki alerted him to the location of the prince. Spinning around, he was greeted by a fist to the face. His vision blurred as his head echoed with pain. Retracting slightly, Vegeta coiled his arm.

There was a brief pause before he lambasted Goku with the blow. Diana's husband was left reeling, clutching his stomach as the oxygen escaped his lungs. He was unable to prevent the next blow from landing and was sent soaring through the air.

After passing several clouds, he finally gained some semblance of control. Flashing his aura, his eyes darted around as they attempted to locate Vegeta.

"Over here Kakarot!"

Goku rib cage erupted in pain as an elbow violently slammed against him. Quickly recovering, he retaliated with a quick jab, only for it to pass through an after image. He growled as another knee submerged itself inside his skin, this time landing in his stomach. A quick knee to the head sent him reeling backward.

Before he could even think about composing himself, he was promptly bombarded by hundreds of glove encased fists. Vegeta's fists turned into blurs at they connected and detached from various parts of Goku's body, bringing immense pain wherever they landed. After a few quick seconds of the assault, Vegeta hopped back, Ki bubbling in his left hand.

Goku's eyes widened as he mentally tried to prepare himself for the blast. He was shocked as Vegeta instead pounded the fist into his face, causing several bones to collapse from the pressure. Just as his face was somewhat healing from the pain, Vegeta vertically spin kicked him, catapulting him higher into the sky.

The prince instantly materialized above him, flashing him a quick grin before slamming his fists down upon his face, sending him soaring down below. Goku eventually landed, arriving with a cloud of dust and a large crater surrounding him. Slowly, he staggered to his feet only to view multiple celeste Ki beams descending upon him.

Numerous explosions bombarded Vegeta's eardrums as the blasts all detonated. Lowering his hands, the self-assured prince waited to see the results of his actions. His smile fell as he observed a sizzling orb of energy surrounding Goku.

"That shield can't protect you forever!" "Vegeta growled. "Let's see how you handle this!"

Rapidly thrusting his hands, Vegeta expelled innumerable beams of Ki at the Earth-raised Saiyan. Explosion after explosion reverberated throughout the sky and battlefield, as the beams contacted. After the sound of gunshots ceased, the bombardment of blasts finally ended, leaving a gigantic cloud smoke lingering in the air.

Halting once more, Vegeta paused to observe the damage. His brows furrowed as he noticed the orb of energy still surrounding Goku, as powerful as ever. Crushing the pubescent beam of energy in his grasp, he rocketed towards to the ground.

Goku frowned as he viewed the irritated Saiyan descend upon him. He had barely survived that energy blitz, and he doubted whether his shield could withstand a close range assault. Widening his stance he decided to find out.

Vegeta arrived thrusting his fist forward, releasing a minute amount of Ki along with it. The shield cracked on impact and began to shake as Vegeta continued to hammer it with Ki imbedded fists.

Goku did his best to hold his ground, digging his feet even deeper into the scorched dirt. He frowned as he observed a spiderweb of cracks spread across it. The shield now looked like jumbled pieces to a puzzle, with fissures everywhere. With one final punch, the shield gave way and shattered into millions of shards.

Vegeta grinned as he pounced on the glaring opening. Hopping up, he launched a straight jab at Kakarot's face, stunning him. Goku stumbled back, as Vegeta's left fist invaded his face, slamming harshly into his left cheek. He was then sent tumbling to the ground, courtesy of a quick combo from the prince.

Unceasing, Vegeta immediately rushed over to his opponent and brought his foot, along with all his weight, down upon Goku's chest. A coarse scream escaped Kakarot's lips as he felt several bones snap, and give way to the pressure. The pressure from the stomps intensified, as Vegeta included his other foot in the next assault.

Goku screams were like a beautiful symphony to Vegeta's ears. Each horrified cry and shriek only encouraged him to amplify the force. As blood splattered on his boots, Vegeta paused to gloat at his foe.

"Ready to give up Kakarot?"

Goku was unable to respond, as the oxygen supply to his lungs was presently cut off.

"Should I take that as a yes?" Gohan's father tried once more but to no avail. "It's over Kakarot! Face it, I've won!"

"No…it's not over yet. I wasn't hoping to use this so early on in the fight but…. Kaio-ken!"

A cardinal aura suddenly emerged, engulfing Goku. Vegeta blinked, perplexed as to what was occurring. His bewilderment grew as he lost his balance due to Goku's hand grabbing his foot.

"What are you…?"

He never received his answer as Chikyu's hero back flipped, managing to kick him along the way. The pain echoing throughout his cheek was tremendous, to say the least. But the prince managed to land safely, backflipping onto his feet.

"Do you think this little change in your aura will help you?"

Goku simply smirked. "Why don't you find out?"

Vegeta suddenly charged forward, extending his fist along the way. He was left alone and bewildered as his fist past through…nothing. He growled and immediately attempted to find Earth's would-be hero. He turned around, only to be met with a sharp kick to the face.

Reeling, but still maintaining ground, he dashed forward, launching a kick of his own. A shockwave reverberated as his leg crossed paths with Goku's own appendage. He frowned and quickly detached his foot, bringing his other leg forward to fill the void.

Once again his attack met the same results, with Goku's other leg blocking it. Teeth were ground as he engaged in a battle of strength with Chikyu's hero, pitting his shin versus shin. He quickly realized he was outmatched when he was sent flying back from Goku's kick to the face.

Wiping the blood from his nose, he glanced up to view Kakarot's fist mere inches from him. He cursed under his breath as it struck, propelling him through several stone pillars. But his recovery was immediate, summoning his aura to life as he burst free from the debris.

He charged towards Goku who simply remained put. He frowned as his knee to the chin was easily evaded by a slight turn of the neck. With a subtle body movement, he re-routed his motion and launched a punch aimed directly at Goku's face. It collided- but instead landed in Goku's grip.

Vegeta frowned as he squirmed, struggling to escape his grasp, serving only to amuse his opponent. Cocking back his other free fist, Vegeta thrust it forward, hoping to capitalize on the opening Goku had created. It was quickly slapped away, serving to further aggravate the prince.

Switching tactics, Goku decided to go on the offensive and slammed his head into the prince's face, causing a gasp to escape his mouth. Leaping back, Chikyu's hero gathered energy into his fist, before he thrust it forward, completely impaling the prince. Vegeta was left clutching his stomach, as he collapsed to the floor, emptying the contents of his lunch.

Unceasing, Goku lashed out with a supersonic kick, catching the ill-prepared Saiyan off guard. The prince flew several yards, crashing through several rock formations before he slid to a halt.

An explosion rocked the surrounding area, as Vegeta disintegrated the stones.

"That was slightly impressive, but it still doesn't compare to my abilities. Let's see how you handle this!"

Vegeta unleashed a luteous wave of energy from his palm. Goku's cardinal aura flashed once more, as the beam crashed into him. An explosion of rainbow-colored light followed as the blast exploded.

Goku survived, completely unharmed, and quickly realized the attack had been a distraction. Glancing around he scanned for Vegeta's power signature. His eyes widened, jumping to the side as he narrowly escaped a kick.

Spinning around, he came face to face with Vegeta who had rematerialized. They glared at one other before dashing off with cocked arms. A shockwave reverberated as they met mid-way between each other.

Both warriors were sent flying back as their fists collided with one another's face. Quickly composing themselves, they charged once more, again meeting halfway. The results were completely different this time, as Goku ducked under Vegeta's fist. Jumping back up he brought his weight, along with his fist towards the prince's chin.

Vegeta winced as he elevated into the sky. Goku was unrelenting and continued with this pace, a fist submerging deep into his chest. The speed of attack was too expeditious, not even allowing Vegeta the chance to cry out in pain.

Bringing his knee up quickly, Goku rammed it into Vegeta's chin, surely cracking bones along the way. Cupping his hands together, Goku swung them in a sideways motion, smashing into Vegeta's face. I've got you right where I want you!

A big thank you to everyone who reviewed chapter 22!

Authors Note: Longest chapter I've written in a while. I know I've been MIA for a while but life has its way of doing that to you. We finally saw the Justice League, at least partially, in this chapter. And yes, Vegeta is partially responsible for the flash gaining superpowers in this AU. I got another piece of artwork commissioned for this story and you can check that out on my tumblr.

I went back and looked at my previous reviews and noticed a lot of people said the story was moving slowly. The next chapter will mark the end of what would have been the Saiyan saga in DBZ canon. Things will really get moving after this. I'm really looking forward to Namek and everything beyond that. So many great story arcs to create.

Q/A:

NirvanaFrk97: Frieza is going to be featured in this story, He'll be a part of the next story arc in fact. As far as the Frieza training thing I'll address it when the time comes. The Dragonball character will most likely end up being more powerful than their canon counterparts just due to the sheer number of powerful foes in this shared Universe.

TaitanoRules555: What tournament arcs?

dark flacon: Thanks for the kind words, and the reminder. A DC hero will be joining Trunks.

Jackalope89: DC Rebirth is still pretty new so I don't really have any plans for it yet. In the future, I might borrow a story arc or two, depending on how everything goes.

Guest: The plot is slow and building up for a reason.

John: Idk why you're mentioning Beerus when he has nothing to do with anything. Akira Toriyama never stated Buu was a galaxy buster in any interview. The shadow moon was a low showing for Superman. You can cite numerous examples for Goku too if you want to go that way, such as him nearly dying from a laser.

Darkmist111: I can't really say what Goku's moral code, as far as killing, will be. Haven't really pondered it yet. The killing vs no killing thing will be a major thing later on.

Starr: Thanks! Gohan's pairing situation will be a little difficult and you'll understand what I mean when we get there. I've blocked him twice but he just keeps reappearing under new names lol.

ENDDRAGON369: Zeno isn't a part of this story.

Ghost Rider-SpiritOfVengeance: If you're referring to Zamasu, he won't be appearing in this story.

Sailor Dragonball 87: I was referring to Shazam. His name has been changed from Captain Marvel to Shazam fairly recently, but he'll always be Captain Marvel in my mind.

Moshe30350redstar: Turles has.

SSJB Shishir: Omni King doesn't exist in this story.

Tristar: Garlic isn't going to be included in this story so deadzone hasn't happened. Terry will show up much later in the story, after Trunks. Someone will be joining Trunks during the Android saga though. DBZ never really delved into magic, don't figure I'll have to do much explaining. Donna's not going to remain a villain forever. She was briefly one during the New 52 though, which is where I'm drawing this storyline from.

Goku142: Character statement aren't feats. Hit won't be in this story.

Verseofchap2: This story will only feature the DBZ plotline. I have no interest in GT.

EvolutionofChao3: This is strictly a DBZ/DC crossover.

DRAGONDAVE45: I'm glad someone finally noticed that was Metron lol.

JOEL: Lobo could assassinate Frieza, especially considering Frieza doesn't really have a way to kill him permanently.

Nanin123: Gohan still has his hidden power, he just can't access his divine Ki.

EXTRA 9: The Elite will not appear in this story. Is Chikyu the most powerful country in terms of what?
