Chapter 44: Adelphē III
December 21st
Age 762 (2012), Planet Namek, Guru's Home
Gohan twiddled his thumbs nervously as he stood before Grand Elder Guru's throne. It was a bad habit that Bulma had tried to correct numerous times, but the Demi-Saiyan would always resort to doing it anytime he felt anxious. Grand Elder Guru was massive, and even that was an understatement. Back home, on Earth, Piccolo was a giant, and numerous Namekians that the halfling had encountered on Namek shared similar statures to his sensei's, but Guru still dwarfed them. Guru made every other Namekian look like a child, and as a literal child, Grand Elder Guru was an imposing figure to Gohan, even as he smiled warmly.
"Don't be afraid, child," The Namekian gestured for Gohan to step forward, and with an apprehensive step, the Demi-Saiyan did so.
"K-Krilin told me that you can unlock latent power." Gohan's eyes scaled Guru's enormous body until they reached his face. The Namekian never opened his eyes and simply nodded, placing a wrinkled hand on top of Gohan's head.
"Yes, I can. I can sense a great latent power hidden within you," Guru had yet to draw it out, but the Namekian could already feel it bubbling at the surface. "However, I sense that you have some resistance towards it. A full awakening will require some effort."
Gohan bit his lip timourously. He could sense Vegeta speeding towards their location. Krillin had failed to divert the prince. "Please hurry; Vegeta will be here any minute now!"
The halfling's words stirred a reaction, and the Namekian on the far right side of Guru's throne finally elected to speak. "Are his intentions pure?"
"Yes."
That was all Nail needed to hear, and the Namekian promptly stepped outside without a further word. His master would be safe with their guest. Vegeta could not be allowed to interfere with Guru's process.
Gohan's eyes trailed Nail until the Namekian eventually disappeared from view. Only he and Dende remained in the room with Guru now, and the young Namekian seemed even more eager than Gohan to explore his latent power.
"Grand Elder Guru will unleash all of your hidden potential Gohan, don't worry." Dende sounded encouraging, but that was precisely what Gohan was worried about.
"Oh my, such hidden power. This is the strongest power I've ever felt." An ethereal light glowed from Guru's hand that slowly began to cover Gohan's entire body. The room was illuminated with a radiant light that forced Dende to shield his eyes. The temperature in the room was rising, and thick beads of sweat rolled down Guru's now distressed face.
"There's something wrong." Guru quickly retracted his hand from Gohan's forehead. Gohan was perturbed but instantly understood why the Namekian had done so when he saw the deep scar on Guru's hand; his skin had been burned nearly to the bone. It would regenerate shortly, but the mental scar would remain.
"A power even greater than my own has sealed your latent power."
"I don't understand," Gohan took several steps back in fear and bumped into Dende, accidentally knocking the Namekian over.
"Don't be scared, Gohan; I'm sure there's an explanation for this." Dende smiled reassuringly at the melancholy Demi-Saiyan, who helped him back onto his feet.
"I've never encountered something like this," Guru's words didn't help to ease Gohan's worry. "An extremely powerful being, most likely a deity of some kind, has sealed your hidden power away."
"Who and why?" Gohan demanded. It was uncharacteristic of him to be so ornery, but the questions were plaguing his mind.
"Who?" Guru repeated. "I cannot say, but if I had to guess, it must be for a good reason."
Gohan pouted at the Namekian's response but had no choice but to accept it. "And there's nothing you can do to unlock my power?" The Demi-Saiyan held fleeting hope that his situation could change, but those hopes were dashed with Guru's next sentence.
"No, I cannot."
"No?" Gohan dragged his breath. "So I'm stuck like this then." The halfling's shoulders slumped as he hung his head dejectedly. What were he and Krillin supposed to do now? They had been banking on Guru's power to help them defeat Vegeta.
Several moments of silence passed before Guru finally spoke once again. "I could try pulling that energy from within you once more, but it would be far too dangerous."
"But why? I don't understand any of this." At the very least, Gohan felt that Grand Elder Guru could offer him an explanation.
"To put it simply, another attempt could be incredibly harmful to you. In the worst-case scenario, you could die Gohan."
Gohan's eyes nearly fell out of their sockets in shock. The halfling had expected a grim answer, but nothing as bad as potential death.
"Grand Elder, is what you say really true?" Dende was having a hard time coming to grips with the unexpected revelation as well.
"It is the unfortunate truth," A rare frown settled onto Guru's face. Almost as badly as Gohan, he wished to extract the child's hidden potential, and this latest development only furthered his curiosity. "Tell me, Gohan, have you ever felt the power that lies within you?"
"Y-yes." The word stammered out of Gohan's mouth. In fact, that was why he had initially been so uneasy about Guru drawing out his latent power.
"It rises to the surface during times of great distress?"
"Yes," Gohan replied quickly. "But how did you know that?"
Guru merely chuckled. "I saw your memories when I tried to draw out your power."
Gohan sweatdropped. That should've been obvious; Krillin had detailed his prior experience with Guru to him.
"From what I can gather, whoever placed that seal on you, did so with the intention of helping you rather than harming you. You're able to draw out portions of your true power only when you absolutely need it the most. As I said before, your hidden power is gigantic, and quite frankly, in the wrong hands could be disastrous."
Gohan gulped. Every piece of Guru's words sounded foreboding.
"Your hidden power is akin to a well. Think of the seal as a bucket. You can draw from that well, but only in small increments. If you ever try to take too much from that well at one time, then the bucket, which is the seal, will overflow, and that will be very detrimental to you." Grand Elder Guru leaned forward in his chair, and for the first time, the Namekian's eyes fluttered open. "I want you to promise me something, Gohan,"

Age 762 (2012), Southwest Forest, Chikyu
Promise me that you won't try and unleash any more power than is necessary unless the situation is absolutely dire.
Guru's words echoed in Gohan's mind as another one of Vegeta's fists rained down on his face. The Demi-Saiyan was momentarily disoriented as his vision blurred, and before he knew it, an uppercut to the chin knocked him out of the sky. Uncerimounously, he slammed through several tree branches, shattering trees into splinters before finally landing on the ground with a hard thud. A murmuration of birds departed from the surrounding area, alerting Piccolo and the rest of his troupe to his new location. But, unfortunately, Vegeta beat them there.
The prince of all Saiyans landed next to Gohan, grinning from ear to ear. The devilish expression on his face intensified once he saw the panic in Gohan's eyes. "What happened to all that spunk you had just moments ago?" Truthfully, Vegeta didn't care for an answer, and he didn't receive anything but a yelp of pain from the Demi-Saiyan as his foot slammed into the boy's stomach.
The wind was knocked from Gohan's lungs, and the prince took the opportunity to gloat about it as he stood with one foot on his chest. "I expected more from Kakarot's brat. Maybe I should just kill you now and spare the Universe from the embarrassment of having another useless Saiyan around." Vegeta's left hand began to cackle with purple Ki as he glowered at the halfling. The threat of imminent death seemed to do the trick, and Gohan's aura erupted around him. Violent gusts of winds arose, slicing through the forest, and the once blue sky darkened to a nebulous grey.
"What's going on?" Vegeta slowly retreated from Gohan, gawking with every backward step he took.
The Demi-Saiyan didn't reply, he was on his feet now, and his aura was ascending higher and higher into the air. From a distance, it looked like a pillar in the sky to the Bulma.
"You wanted a fight, and now you've got one!"
The ground was shredded as Gohan raced towards Vegeta with renewed vigor. The prince didn't have the time or speed to react and was greeted with a bone-rattling kick to the stomach. The prince lurched over, clutching his insides in agonizing pain. But Gohan was unrelenting and struck again, attacking Vegeta with a hammer fist to the upper torso, which hit the exact spot Frieza's death beam had torn through. The prince's eyes closed for a moment, and when he opened them again, a gargantuan yellow Ki blast was headed towards him.
Vegeta's body rocketed for at least a mile, and the prince was powerless to alter the beam's trajectory; his only saving grace was the fact that it dissipated after eventually losing steam. The remains of Vegeta's armor crumbled as he dug himself out of a collapsed settlement of trees. The prince's armor had taken a beating back on Namek when Frieza had used his body as a stress ball. The armor had been on its last legs even prior to Gohan's assault, but the Demi-Saiyan had punctuated its death. The prince was now shirtless and bleeding from a zig-zag of scars across his chest.
"You stupid brat!" Vegeta's Ki sparked around his being. He spotted Gohan smirking a few feet away as he hovered above ground and charged towards him. Their two fists met with an explosive bang that flung both of them backward. The prince was the first to re-engage and launched several angry punches at the child. Spectacularly, Gohan managed to dodge all of them, dancing out of harm's way before any of Vegeta's knuckles could even graze his skin.
Once the prince's barrage was over, Gohan returned the favor with a flurry of his own. Vegeta wasn't agile enough to evade Gohan's bombardment, but he did block or parry the Demi-Saiyan's attacks before they hit his vitals. And as he did so, the prince took mental note of the child's sudden change in demeanor. Sure, Gohan had been enraged earlier due to Vegeta's goading, but not once had the prince sensed killing intent from the child. But now, things had suddenly flipped, and the halfling was attacking with deadly malicious zeal.
Vegeta was still more powerful than the brat, for now, but he could feel Gohan's Ki ascending leaps and bounds as the time passed. The prince would have to end things quickly before Kakarot's spawn could become a severe threat, but his lapse of action would cost him first. Being so enthralled in his thoughts had caused Vegeta's defenses to wane, and Gohan had sprung on that. A Ki beam was coalescing in Gohan's tiny palms, and at this close of a range, it was sure to vaporize the rest of Vegeta's outfit. Vegeta scowled and prepared for the worst as the periwinkle orb of Ki expanded into a voluminous ball.
At first, the prince had assumed that it was a simple Kamehameha. Gohan held the standard pose of his father, but as the Demi-Saiyan's energy kept expanding, Vegeta realized it was something far more sinister. Gohan's pupils faded away as well as any positive emotions in his heart. It seemed the ball of energy wouldn't be stopped by anything, not even Grand Elder Guru's telepathic cry of caution.
Reel yourself in Gohan! It may not be too late; don't give in! The Elder Namekian tried to warn Gohan, but by then, his fate was already sealed. The perplexed look on Vegeta's face was the last thing the Demi-Saiyan saw as he passed out.

Age 763 (2013), Themsycira, Doom's Doorway
"You don't find this the least bit unsettling?" Donna asked Diana and took a slow bite from the slab of meat in her hands. It was thick, juicy, and freshly cooked, but its contents were nauseating, to say the least.
"Oh, no, after a while, you'll get used to the taste," Wonder Woman quickly reassured, urging her sister to continue eating. "If I had trimmed the meat some more, it would've been considered a type of jerky in America," Diana offered Hippolyta's clone her best sales pitch, but it was painfully obvious that the Amazon wasn't buying it.
Donna stared at the sliced purple piece of Hydra neck and mentally barfed. "No, thank you." Donna graciously refused and sat the meat on the lap of her folded legs.
"Whelp, more for me then," Diana shrugged and continued digging into her food. In seconds the princess devoured her chunk of meat before moving on to Donna's, who readily gave it to her. The princess was normally regal, noble, and dignified, but as Donna sat back and watched her sister devour the food, Diana looked more akin to the beast they had slain just hours ago than queen Hippolyta.
"My earlier comment wasn't in reference to the food," Donna spoke as she watched her sister take one final bite.
"Then what were you talking about?" Diana wiped her mouth with her hand and suppressed the urge to burp. Donna was already judging her harshly for her bad eating habits, and Wonder Woman didn't want to amplify those feelings.
"I'm sure you can see that monstrosity behind you, right?" Donna's hand outstretched and pointed to the wall directly across from her. Diana's eyes followed her finger.
"Oh, you mean that," Diana said as she glanced over her shoulder. She'd first seen it hours ago when she'd prepared the fire to cook the Hydra meat. The wall was hard not to notice. A person would've had to been willingly oblivious to ignore the ghastly faces that made up the wall. The wall stretched as high as the cavern they were in and was doused with violet and amethyst colors.
There were more faces than Diana could count, and all of them appeared to be in excruciating pain. The mouths on all the misshapen faces hung open, stretched inhumanly as if they were bellowing a song of agony, but no sound was emitted from their lips. Donna was greatly disturbed, and it was evident in her sorrowful eyes, but it didn't move Diana in the slightest. The princess of the Amazons felt for those poor souls, but this didn't even scratch the surface of how frightful Doom's doorway could be.
"What do you think happened to them?" Donna asked, unable to turn her gaze away from the terrifying visages.
"Hmm, I can't say for certain," Diana placed a thoughtful hand on her chin. "But if I had to guess, they were people who had the misfortune of getting trapped in Doom's Doorway and died here."
It was a rather obvious answer, but Donna found it satisfactory enough. "It seems that same fate will befall us too." Her words jarred Diana, but Donna's tone wasn't despondent in the slightest. The Amazon was a realist, and unfortunately, that was the reality of the sibling's situation.
"You've given up already?" Diana snickered. "And here I was thinking you still had plans to kill me." Things had been more amicable between the sisters since their encounter with Echidna, but Diana was still unsure whether things with Donna were headed in the right direction.
"You're still holding on to that?" Donna's eyes rolled. "I've been on my best behavior, haven't I?"
Diana gave her sister an uneasy look but eventually nodded once Donna gave her a stern glare. "I can't dispute that, but…."
"But what?" Donna snapped. Her arms were folded together, and that combined with the crabby expression on her face caused Wonder Woman to laugh.
"I'm just teasing you," Diana said in between chuckles; her hearty laughter had died down, but her sister was still not amused. "Lighten up a bit. Laughter is one of the few things that will keep you sane down here. If Goku were here, you'd be giggling until your cheeks hurt."
Donna's face relaxed a bit as she uncrossed her arms. She did have a tendency to take things too seriously. "Goku, that's the name of your husband, right?"
Diana nodded and flashed a beaming smile. "Yes, that's right, he's the love of my life."
"And you're sure he feels the same? If he loved you as much as you claim to love him, why didn't he try to rescue you?" Donna's words were blunt, but the Amazon didn't mean to come off as rude.
Diana wasn't offended and took Donna's questions at face value. "Well, who's to say that my husband didn't try? Themyscira is trapped in another dimension, or at least it was when I was thrown into Doom's Doorway."
"Hmm, well, that is true," Donna mumbled pensively. "But still, I would've expected my lover to find a way."
"Real life isn't like Grecian love tales," Wonder woman sighed and rubbed her temples. She had to remember she was talking to someone with minimal real-life experience. "My husband's love for me is without question, and even as powerful as he is, Goku can't fix a problem he's unaware of."
"A problem he's unaware of?" Donna repeated in a confused tone. Those few choice words had piqued her interest.
"I left Goku in the middle of the night to come to Themsycira." Donna stared at her sister with increasing incredulousness as Diana continued speaking. "I left him a note, but my explanation was…..poor at best." The shame in Wonder Woman's heart was almost as big as the frown on Donna's face.
"And that's how you treated your husband, the supposed love of your life," Donna was repulsed, but it was par for the course. Love only lead to suffering. "If that's what love is, I want no parts of it."
Diana scoffed and turned her gaze to the fire in between them. "I don't believe you," Donna couldn't fool her, no matter how genuine she sounded. Echidna had revealed what her sister's greatest fear was. "A family can't exist without love."
Donna growled and glared daggers at her sister; she exactly what Diana was referring to. "How I reacted to Echidna was just a moment of weakness."
Wonder Woman played along and nodded her head, mouthing out the word, "okay," but her sarcasm couldn't be concealed.
"I have all the family I need right here," Donna declared proudly and pointed to her chest. "At the very least, I know that I can depend on myself."
"Deep down, you know you don't believe that, so why sit here and lie?" Wonder Woman was tired of going in circles with her sister. They had reached a breakthrough, albeit a small one, but Donna persisted in continuing her tough girl act.
"And what makes you think I'm lying?" Donna sneered; she didn't appreciate the insinuation. "I've never had a family, so in the end, it makes no difference to me." Donna finished her words huffing and nearly out of breath. Someone like Diana would never understand her or her perspective.
"If that were truly the case, you wouldn't have had a mental breakdown in front of me," Wonder Woman saw the fury in Donna's eyes, but her incensed expression only strengthened Diana's convictions. "Echidna showed you the one thing you fear the most, and even now, a part of you is still afraid that her illusion was true."
"You…." Donna's words trailed as she balled her first. "You've always had everything, and you don't know what it's like to be me. I viewed Derinoe as my mother; after all, she did create me. And that vision wasn't real, but every word was accurate. I failed Derinoe, and I failed my mission. I want to escape Doom's Doorway as badly as you do, but there's nothing waiting for me once I do!"
"The rest of your Amazon sisters will embrace you once we…."
"No! They won't." Donna cut Diana off. Her sister's hopeful optimism was a slap in the face. "You're the princess and rightful heir to the Themysciran throne, and look how they treated you. You've been banished since you were a child. I'll never be embraced, and I'll never be loved by anyone! My actions as much as Hippolyta's destroyed Themsycira." Donna's facial expressions flickered between emotions before the all too familiar trademark of despair settled on her face. "Don't look at me like that," Donna chided Diana, but it was already too late; the tears had already begun to descend from her eyes.
Silence filled the air before Donna's sobs overtook it. Donna's weeping grew louder, and the steady stream of tears would have continued if not for Diana's fingers, who began wiping them away. "Sister, I am here for you, and I've always been here for you. If no one else on this island cares for you, know that I do." Wonder Woman looked her sister directly in the eyes, emphasizing her words.
"Why do you care so much about me?" Donna sniffled and pushed Wonder Woman's hand away. Her tears were embarrassing enough without Diana's coddling piled on top of it.
"I care for all of my Amazon sisters, and that includes you."
"But I highly doubt that you'd extend the same olive branch to Derinoe or Alkyone," Donna rebuffed. Even Wonder Woman's kindness had a limit.
Diana clenched her jaw and hesitated before speaking. She hated to admit it, but Donna's words were correct for the most part. "It would be hard for me to forgive the things that Derinoe and Alkyone have done, but at the very least, I would offer them one last chance at redemption before I killed them."
"You've offered me multiple chances to change my ways, and I've spurned you at every turn, and yet I'm somehow still alive."
"Well, that's different because….."
"Because what?" Donna interrupted, pressing closer to her sister's face. She wanted to have a good look at the lie Diana would concoct next. "If we weren't blood, you wouldn't care for me. You'll talk in circles rather than just admitting the obvious truth."
Diana's shoulders slumped, and the Amazon tried to avoid eye contact with her sister, but Donna's piercing glare was too scathing for her to ignore. "Okay fine, I'll admit it! The fact that you and I are blood does play into my rationalization. You're the last remaining link that I have to my mother."
"I knew it!" Donna shouted at the top of her lungs. If she had been anyone else, Diana's compassion wouldn't have stretched so far.
"Yes, I have an extra soft spot in my heart for you because of our shared heritage, but even if that weren't the case, I would still go to these lengths for you," Wonder Woman's tone was sincere, but Donna's distrust was still apparent, and it would take a lot more than kind words to sway her.
"In the world outside of Themyscira, were you always this forgiving to your enemies? Were you always this kind? What I've done is easy for you to whitewash and overlook because you view me as your blood-sister, but things would be much different if I weren't." Donna turned away from Diana and looked towards the flickering flames of their fire. The embers served as a reminder of the discord she'd caused amongst the Amazonians. She'd fanned their flames of hatred, and unlike Diana's fire, those flames showed no sign of dulling.
"I've had my fair share of enemies, whether it be the Silver Swan, Giganta, or Cheetah," Diana said as she joined her sister in viewing the flames. "I believe I've shown them all a level of compassion while dispensing justice. Some more than others, when it's been warranted."
"And how do you know when it's warranted? How do you make that distinction?" Donna asked and waited with bated breath.
"I make that distinction based on a person's character and their true intent. Those things are typically very easy to decipher when I have the Lasso of Truth," Diana patted the right side of her hip, where the magical lariat normally would've been found, but it was nowhere to be seen. "Unfortunately, Alkyone and your former comrades stripped me of it when they tossed me down here. But even without my lasso, I am still a good judge of character, and you aren't someone who is unequivocally evil. Misguided? Yes, but you were lead down this path, and alternate choices really weren't possible for you. Derinoe and Alkyone lead you astray, but now you know the truth. What you do from here on out will define who and what you are as a person."

Age 763 (2013), Mount Olympus
"The time is nearly upon us," Athena smiled as she dispelled the image of Doom's Doorway from her sight. Progress between Diana and Donna had finally been made. The goddess stretched and turned away from the orchid scrying pool, facing the elegant throne that was on the opposite end of the room. A mammoth set of marble stairs led to queen Hera's throne, but her stepmother was nowhere to be found.
This room was her stepmother's quarters, but any Olympian was free to use the scrying pool, and few rarely did. The cantankerous goddess of marriage didn't like guests and was displeased when anyone came for a visit. Hera's temperament had only grown worse since she'd discovered Hipployta's affair. Zeus's wife had always been a mercurial woman, but now her bad moods outweighed the good, and no trace of benevolence seemed to be found in her heart. Marriages across the Earth suffered due to Hera's negative disposition and would continue doing so until something was done about her.
Zeus didn't seem to care about his wife's actions and hadn't been seen by any of the Olympians in months. No one could find him, but it was safe to assume that the Skyfather was bedding mortals across the globe. If it wasn't power, sex was the only thing Zeus craved. Hera knew that as well and had dedicated herself to killing Zeus's bastard progeny. Dozens of Athena's siblings had died unfortunate deaths, numerous of them passing away before ever taking a breath.
Hera needed to be stopped, but to do so would require allies. The first step towards that goal would require freeing Diana and Donna. An owl flew into a room and landed on the shoulder of Athena's peplos. The goddess soothingly petted the snow-white bird before whispering into its ears. Ares and Eris weren't the only gods who could scheme.

Age 762 (2012), The Remains of Namek
That monkey… that insolent monkey! He had ruined everything! His hopes, dreams, and desires had all been dashed by that foolish Saiyan. Never in his life had he suffered such a debilitating defeat, not even during his spars with Cooler or his father. In those days, he had been a child compared to current power, but even that wasn't enough to defeat Goku.
Frieza's lips soured at the thought of that jovial monkey. To think that a Saiyan of all people had done this to him. Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined such a horrific fate befalling him. In fact, all of this seemed to be dramatic irony. He would never admit it to anyone, but he had destroyed the Saiyan homeworld out of fear. The fear that the Saiyans would rise and rebel against the Planet Trade Organization, achieve the super Saiyan state, and kill him just like they had murdered his ancestor Chilled.
For the longest, Frieza had considered the tale behind his ancestor's death to be a mere myth, something to scare him and his brother, but how wrong he had been. Chilled had been the greatest space pirate of his era. Chilled's might, power, and prowess had been unmatched by anyone in the galaxy until he'd crossed paths with a super Saiyan. Chilled's strength was said to have been useless against the Saiyan who fought like a force of nature, his golden aura shining as brightly as any supernova.
His ancestor had been handily defeated and was blasted off the planet he was fighting on, momentarily surviving after being rescued by his crew. His final words were said to have been, "Warn my family of the golden-haired warrior….the Super Saiyan". He had then promptly collapsed dead, his injuries being far beyond repair.
King Cold had never bought into the story and had simply shrugged it off, finding it unbelievable that an Arcosian could be defeated by a race of people that didn't even exist. Cooler had been indifferent, not caring at all for the tale, and had simply stated that he would never be as stupid as his ancestor. But King Cold's youngest son, on the other hand, had taken the story with a grain of salt, especially after finding out that a race of beings named the Saiyans actually did exist.
But those thoughts were meaningless now. Frieza's consciousness was slipping, and in a matter of moments, he would join the realm of eternal sleep. It had been his destiny to dominate the galaxy and then the Universe as a whole, but yet he now seemed fated to meet an ungracious end, floating in the void of space until his lungs gave out. But before they did, he would curse his enemy one last time.
"S-stupid….monkey!" Bloodied lips formed a cruel smile as Frieza conceded to the darkness, but before his eyes fully closed, a scintillating yellow light jolted them open.
"Frieza of the Planet Trade Organization. You have the ability to instill great fear. Welcome to the Sinestro Corps."
A big thank you to everyone who reviewed chapter 43!
A/N: With the Android/Cell saga coming up, I would like to change this story's cover art; it's been the same for a while now. If anyone knows any good artists, give me a recommendation, and thanks in advance.
Q/A:
darkmist111: Universe hopping will happen, but that won't be until the end of the story. The multiverse will be different variations of this fused Universe.
DRAGONDAVE45: Diana will reunite with her husband and child soon. The JSA doesn't exist on this Earth. I don't plan on using .
scl04: Yes, Superman will learn that Frieza was responsible for the destruction of Krypton. You're right; Vegeta still has his tail, which will be a problem for him later. And yes, Goku will learn that he killed Grandpa Gohan. The galactic consequences of Goku's actions will be displayed in upcoming chapters. Goku may have defeated Frieza, but the PTO is still very much alive. Zod will appear after the Cell saga. I hadn't really thought about including the Tuffles, but that would be a good idea.
Jackalope89: Who is your favorite DBZ character?
greenbunny11: I'm basing this version of Hal on his early appearances in the New 52 and the Justice League: War movie, which was based on the New 52. Hal was portrayed as a cocky hotshot, but I probably did make him a little too Guy Gardner-esque. That's a valid criticism, but don't worry, Hal won't remain that way forever.
Noideas38: The human Ki fighters will remain relevant in other ways, not necessarily through training. You'll see what I mean when the time comes. I'm very excited to get to this story's Android/Cell arc because I've been planning for it for so long. It's going to be a lot different than it was in canon.
Ppsspp: I already have Gohan's pairing thought out, and it won't be Android 18. She's way older than him, lol.
Martiz S.G: King Cold will put up a better fight when he arrives on Earth this time around.
Shark: When the full cast gets back together, they'll definitely have a moment to talk.
Fuckmegun: Gohan could learn how to use magic, but he probably won' is Gohan's aunt so that it wouldn't be a brother/sister you mean will Gohan have gods as enemies? I have no plans for Black Canary, but she'll probably pop up somewhere down the line.
Ayrton Senna: I'm very appreciative of my readers who continued supporting this story, even during my long absences. If you're referring to Wonder Woman's golden eagle armor, then yes. As for your multiverse question, you can read one of my previous responses.
Okhwang: You'll get an update on Turles and Starfire soon. If I do a chapter detailing Goku and Diana's wedding, it will be posted in the companion story, Dragonball DC: Universe.
that guy you know the one: According to the Dragonball wiki, Gohan was born in Age 757. The Gohan in this story was born in Age 758/2008. In canon, Gohan returned from Namek in Age 762, which means that he was five at the time. It's just a one-year difference.
S3rp3nte: Yes, a mixture of OG Broly and Super Broly. I've used an amalgamation of continuities regarding the DC side of this story, and I plan to do the same with Broly. Your ideas sound nice and well thought out, but you'll understand what I mean when Broly finally makes an appearance in this story.
