Chapter 77: Amazo Virus I
January 18th
Age 764 (2014), Switzerland, Geneva
"I think I went a tad bit overboard," Frieza drawled as he stroked his chin. The Frost Demon hovered over what had once been the United Nations headquarters. It was gone, completely vaporized; not even a single brick remained to mark the building's existence. The galactic despot had achieved his goal, but at an unexpected cost; the entirety of Geneva was now smoldering remains.
Frieza had only meant to destroy the United Nations building and the surrounding locale, but his fury had gotten the best of him. His rage had bubbled to the surface and spilled out in ways that even he couldn't have foreseen. Those stupid automatons had pushed all the right buttons to make him snap. The mechanical versions of the Earth's superheroes made him lose his composure. They weren't present anymore, likely destroyed in the wake of his Ki blast, but Frieza's irritation still lingered.
The Earthlings had attempted to deceive him. Did they take him for a fool? He was the Lord of the universe, the plunderer of planets, seizer of solar systems. The sheer gall these humans possessed was appalling, and that trait was perfectly reflected in Goku. It made sense now why that Saiyan monkey was so arrogant; Goku had learned it from his adoptive home world.
Goku was arrogant enough to believe that he could kill the emperor of the universe, and the humans were so arrogant they thought a quartet of miserable machines would be sufficient to save their planet. Both parties' best shots had missed, and Frieza would make them pay dearly for that. His plan to meticulously torture and murder the citizens of Geneva was now out the window, but there were still other ways to make an example. The gargantuan crater that encompassed this once-bustling city was proof of that.
The world would take note of it soon; Frieza was certain of that, and sure enough, news reports from around the globe began to pour in. Frieza's mind was flooded with various images and videos from media outlets across the world. The internet was a fantastic tool, easily the greatest invention in human history. Instant access to information on this grand a scale was something that even the Planet Trade Organization had yet to achieve. Frieza begrudgingly gave the Earthlings their due. The internet was such a brilliant concept; he'd have to steal it after he annihilated this planet.
The cybernetic enhancements to his brain were the aspects of his new body that Frieza appreciated the most. Without them, he wouldn't have been able to link to the internet, he wouldn't have been able to view these reports in real-time as they were posted, and he damn sure wouldn't have been able to understand the various languages that he was hearing. The Earth's lack of a singular unified tongue still baffled Frieza. For whatever strange reason, the English language was identical to Galactic Basic Standard, but the rest of the Earth's mongrel dialects might as well have been animal noises.
All media sources were reporting that several cities had been attacked and Geneva had been wiped off the map, but none of them stated who was responsible, so social media was abuzz with rumors and conspiracies. Enemy countries, numerous supervillains, and even terrorist organizations were being blamed for the destruction, but there was no mention of Frieza's name. The Frost Demon was agitated beyond belief. How could he strike fear into the hearts of Earth's denizens if they didn't even acknowledge him?
Sure, this planet's multiplicity of heroes knew who he was, but the wider public remained ignorant of him. He would rectify that immediately. Frieza scanned the night sky, searching for Earth's communications satellites. They were in geostationary orbit but wouldn't be difficult to hack. Frieza rerouted all of them to focus on his location and began speaking.
"My name is Lord Frieza. I am the ruler of the Planet Trade Organization. Some of you might be aware of my existence, and some of you might be blissfully unaware; regardless, you know me now. My troops attacked your heroes, and I destroyed Geneva. I'm looking for a Saiyan, whom I'm sure you all know. His name is Goku. The sooner he appears, the sooner all of this will end; the choice is in his hands. If you're listening to this message, Goku, stop hiding and face me! You monkeys are supposed to have a warrior's pride! This planet will burn either way, but how quickly or slowly it does is up to you, Goku."
Frieza ended the broadcast cackling and relinquished his control of the communication satellites. The Earth's reaction was immediate. Frieza's name became the number one searched topic on the internet within seconds. Every government worldwide put their countries on high alert and spurred their militaries into action in preparation for a potential assault. Switzerland was already in Defcon One, but due to their lack of nuclear weapons, they had yet to strike.
The European Union was in talks with the Swiss government about providing aid, but even if they did, it wouldn't matter. Frieza had survived Namek's destruction; nothing the Earthlings could produce would harm him, not even the nukes they kept clamoring for. All Frieza had to do now was wait. He'd grant the humans five Earth minutes before continuing his havoc. If Goku didn't show up by then, he'd remove all traces of Switzerland from the globe.
The time slipped by slowly, and Frieza was beginning to grow bored, yawning loudly, but a sudden loud shout brought him back to his senses. The voice was furious, and from its tone alone, Frieza knew it wasn't of his soldiers; none of them would ever dare raise their voice at their liege. Had one of the humans somehow survived his Ki blast? Frieza pondered the thought but quickly dashed it away. Whoever was approaching him was doing so at astonishing speeds. If not for Frieza's now upgraded vision, his red eyes would've never seen the boy who abruptly slammed into him.
"You monster!"
The collision flung Frieza at least a mile away. He spun through the air for a few seconds before his momentum finally slowed. That had actually hurt. During his fight with the robotic Justice League, he'd taken several blows, but none of them managed to inflict the level of pain he was currently trying to process. Who was this mysterious assailant? Frieza looked up in time to see his enemy charging at him again.
The boy was young, likely a teenager, and filled with all the reckless impetuousness that youth brought. His blue eyes were filled with deep-rooted hatred, and his bizarre lavender hair was flickering between colors. For the briefest of moments, Frieza swore he saw a tinge of blonde, but when he blinked, it vanished as quickly as it had appeared. The boy wasn't dressed like any warrior Frieza had encountered before, save for the sword on his back. A stylish indigo jacket and grey pants were clothes meant for a day on the town, not battle, but the boy was a ferocious fighter, irrespective of his questionable fashion choices.
The teen decked Frieza in the face as soon as he got within arm's length of him, and the blow struck like a clap of thunder. Frieza's head violently jerked back, but he maintained his ground; this time, he hadn't been caught off guard. The Frost Demon smirked and wiped his lips. That strike had been a delicious appetizer. Frieza wasted no time reciprocating the favor to his opponent. The Frost Demon lashed out at a speed so great his punch was never seen, only felt.
Frieza's assailant was thrust from the heavens and rocketed for several yards until he finally crashed into a pile of steaming dirt. What was left of Geneva was still smoldering. All the smoke nearly clogged his vision, and the air quality was hazardous to humans, but Frieza still managed to locate his enemy as he landed on the ground. The boy was back on his feet now, arms folded, with a stern look as he and Frieza crossed gazes amidst the fumes. There wasn't a scratch on the teen, and the hazy clouds surrounding the pair of warriors didn't seem to affect the boy, but they did annoy him.
The teen abruptly yelled, and Frieza assumed he was on the verge of pouncing once more, but all he did was ignite his aura. The boy's white aura meshed with the landscape's background so well it was almost invisible to the naked eye. The teen took a deep breath, exhaled, and suddenly all the nearby smoke was gone. The ground was visible again.
"How did you –"
"- Don't worry about it," The teen rudely dismissed Frieza. "You should be focusing all your attention on me."
"Oh, really? And why is that?" Frieza asked smugly, taking a step closer to the boy. He would thoroughly enjoy humbling him.
"Because I'm the one who's going to kill you. My name is Trunks, and I'm a Saiyan. I want you to remember that when you die." His eyes turned teal, and the ground began to shake.

"You really think Trunks can defeat Frieza?" Bulma asked hopefully. She turned to Fury, who was seated behind her, idly picking the dirt from her nails. She'd gotten most of it out, but an irksome amount of gunk remained in her pinky. She huffed in annoyance before giving Bulma her attention.
"I don't think he can; I know he can," Fury replied confidently. "Trunks isn't the type to play with his food, so realistically, this fight should be over in five minutes tops."
"Are you serious?" Bulma exclaimed, with her eyebrows raised. She had no doubt that Trunks was powerful, but Frieza was nothing to scoff at. He was a galactic tyrant for a reason.
"I want to be as calm as you are about this; trust me, I do, but that's my son out there. A son I never knew I had or would have," Bulma said in awe, pacing the floor of her small plane once more. She hadn't sat down since Trunks had departed. "Are you one hundred percent sure about this?'
"Yes," Fury reassured. They'd discussed this topic ad nauseam, but a mother's worry could never truly be alleviated. Maybe a missing piece of information would help ease Bulma's mind, though. "Trunks is a Super Saiyan," Fury announced.
Bulma's jaw dropped, and she froze in place. "A-a-a S-S-Super S-S-Saiyan?!" The Capsule Corp heiress stammered. She repeated Fury's words over and over until her lips grew chapped, but the revelation still didn't fully sink in. "I thought a Super Saiyan appeared once every thousand years, according to Vegeta at least."
"That's just a myth, and the funny thing about myths is…. they're rarely ever true. Believe me, I've lived them."
Bulma nodded and didn't press the issue any further. "My son, a Super Saiyan? Who would've ever thought that could happen? Vegeta, in your time, must be one proud dad."
"He is," Fury lied and feigned a smile. Vegeta had perished before either she or Trunks had been born, but that was a tale she didn't care to tell under the current circumstances. "My full faith is in Trunks, but I have to admit this version of Frieza is a bit different than the one from our era."
"How so?" Bulma questioned. She plopped down in a seat beside Fury and gave the Demi-Saiyan a puzzled look.
"Well, for starters, the Frieza that Trunks and I know attacked the Earth on August 24th, 2014, or age 764 in the Chikyuan calendar. He never destroyed Geneva. He landed there, but he waited until Goku arrived. Thousands of innocent people never died, and Frieza only brought a handful of soldiers along with him."
That was shocking news, to say the least. Bulma placed her hands on her head in thought. "That explains why Trunks left so fast." Her son had grounded her airplane without any warning. All he'd said before leaving were a few whispers in Fury's ear and an apology to his mother before dashing down the plane's ramp. Fury had been left behind to watch over Bulma and to fill in the unspoken blanks.
"Trunks usually does a better job of keeping people in the loop, but all this timeline mayhem has got him out of wack. Frieza arrived earlier than he was supposed to, and the heroes of this day and age might not be able to defeat him without Goku's assistance."
"Man, you guys really screwed up the timeline, huh?" Bulma's words were an observation, not a question, but they didn't sting Fury any less.
"We definitely did," Fury sighed as her head drooped. "The past has changed for sure, but I have to be hopeful that these changes won't all be negative."
"Well, sitting here with you, things don't seem totally horrific, so that has to count for something." Bulma mused, eliciting a chuckle from Fury.
"One thing I can guarantee won't change is your sense of humor. You've maintained it in the future, and I see no reason why that will waver."
"Oh, stop it, you're just buttering me up," Bulma laughed and playfully pushed Fury's shoulder. "But speaking of the future, did Frieza look the same in your era? The last time I saw him, he was a completely organic lifeform, but during his global broadcast, he looked more machine than anything."
"Now that you mention it, no." Fury slowly lifted her head. "Frieza received mechanical upgrades for his injuries, but in our era, they were almost haphazardly put together. His body was still partly organic. The Frieza we saw on your cell phone looks completely composed of metal."
A sense of dread gripped Bulma's heart. "Is that a good or bad sign?" she hesitantly inquired.
Fury was slow to speak. "I don't know," the Demi-Saiyan answered honestly. "But Trunks might be in for a tougher fight than I previously expected."

Age 764 (2014), Switzerland, Geneva
The novelty of his Super Saiyan transformation had finally waned. Initially, Frieza had been dismayed and bewildered by Trunks' metamorphosis. It was a horrifying reminder of his humiliation on Namek. The Frost Demon's usually cold red eyes had stretched to the size of saucers as he retreated in fright. His metallic lips had trembled, lacking any insults to spew or boastful threats to announce. For a few fleeting moments, the fear that Frieza had so often basked in had consumed him.
Trunks had enjoyed every second of it. Frieza was responsible for the genocide of his species and countless others. It was karmic justice for the Frost Demon to perish at the hands of Saiyan royalty. Trunks had never really acknowledged that aspect of his heritage until today when he'd laid eyes on Frieza. Something had taken hold of him, urging him to avenge his people.
With every punch and kick that Trunks had landed, Saiyan pride swelled in his heart. His father would've been so proud. Vegeta was still alive in this era, but the version of the prince who'd impregnated his mother was surely smiling down from beyond. Frieza had been overwhelmed, fleeing as fast as he could. Trunks had never expected him to be so cowardly, but then again; this was the same monster who'd obliterated a planet to avoid defeat.
Frieza's running had done him no good, though, Trunks had followed him every step of the way. At every turn, at every corner, Trunks was there. His presence was as haunting as his aura. His golden Super Saiyan aura was like a beacon of hope to the universe amidst the darkness of the night. At long last, Frieza's abhorrent reign was at an end. All Trunks had to do was finish him off for good, but that was becoming increasingly difficult.
Frieza was fighting back now, and the astonishment and awe that the Frost Demon had once displayed was nowhere to be found. Rage and fury were written across Frieza's features. He traded blows with Trunks, and the Demi-Saiyan shockingly found himself on the defensive. Was Frieza growing stronger? No, that couldn't be possible! Only a few minutes ago, Trunks had nearly turned him into stardust.
A bright blue Kamehameha had illuminated the sky like the morning dawn. Contact was made, and Frieza screamed in decibels so loud the sound barrier had nearly been broken. What had changed since then? Trunks wracked his brain, trying to figure it out. His lapse in concentration allowed Frieza to land a right hook that rattled his jaw.
"Goku still hasn't shown up, but you're an excellent consolation prize. I'll get to kill two Super Saiyans for the price of one!" Frieza declared. He headbutted Trunks while laughing maniacally.
He was back to true form.
Trunks' forehead throbbed momentarily, but he ignored the pain. That either frustrated or annoyed the Frost Demon, so he repeated his attack again and again and again. By the fifth time, Trunks had a pounding headache, but he endured, all the while quietly accumulating Ki in his palms. When Frieza attempted a sixth headbutt, Trunks unleashed the Ki he'd stored, aiming it at Frieza's unprotected midsection.
Trunks launched Ki blast after Ki blast. Each one was a different color and louder than the last. They were like hydrogen bombs, and at this close a range, Frieza should've been atomized, but when the smoke cleared, only Frieza's abdomen had been blown away. An oval hole was visible from one side of his body to the other, but there oddly wasn't any blood dripping.
Trunks was flummoxed. That wasn't his best shot by any means, but it should've been more than enough to erase Frieza. He would just have to redouble his efforts. The Frost Demon likely didn't have long to live anyway. Trunks backpedaled and started the process all over. A massive amount of Ki was bubbling in his palms, twice as much as the last time.
He would end it here and now, but Frieza had other plans. The Frost Demon miraculously began regenerating. Trunks was stupefied. A thousand different questions buzzed in his mind. Were his eyes playing tricks on him? Had Frieza always been capable of this? Was this a new technique the tyrant had developed?
A chill crept up Trunks' spine as the most terrifying thought entered his mind; what if he was responsible for this? He and Fury's trip to the past had already altered the date of Frieza's arrival; Kami knew what else had changed. Trunks tried to expel the doubt from his head and refocus on the task at hand, but by then, it was too late; Frieza's body was completely healed. Even the Frost Demon seemed shocked at what had just occurred. Frieza skeptically inspected his body and laughed when he realized he'd been restored to full health.
"Dr. Myuu, you twisted genius. I'll have to reward you when I return to my throne world."
Who's Doctor Myuu? Trunks wondered to himself. It was a name he'd never heard before, but it sounded strikingly familiar to a man he planned to kill. Whoever he or she was, Frieza's praise indicated that they were in league together. It could've been a forced union or one that Dr. Myuu was totally complicit in, but Trunks didn't have the time to dwell on it; he was back in the heat of battle. Frieza's hard metallic knuckles snapped him back to reality.
That blow didn't hurt, but the Frost Demon's next attack most certainly did. A double-palmed Ki blast to the chest hit Trunks like a freight train. He was blown back so far that he lost track of his surroundings. When he finally gathered his bearings, he realized he was hovering over the remnants of a beach. Water still met land here, Trunks could hear the soothing sounds of the tide, but all traces of sand had been eroded, and the scorched ground was steaming.
Even from this high up, wisps of smoke managed to reach Trunks. Frieza emerged from behind one of them and struck. The Frost Demon caught him off guard again. It was frustrating and highly perplexing. Trunks sailed through the air as Frieza's knee to the gut propelled him over the waters. At least the smoke was gone, but that was the only positive.
Trunks and Frieza clashed furiously, trading blows at light speed. Neither side seemed to have the advantage. Even though Trunks couldn't detect Frieza's Ki, he knew he was more powerful than the despot, but somehow, someway, Frieza was holding his own. The Frost Demon displayed a perfect balance of control. His wrath was evident, but it was focused and subdued, unlike their previous encounter.
Twice, Trunks landed what he thought were near-fatal blows, but they healed so quickly it was as if they had never happened. It was a vexing ability that circumvented all of Trunks' hard efforts. How could metal even regenerate? Trunks thanked Kami that the Androids didn't possess this skill; otherwise, all of Earth's heroes in his time would've been dead.
There had to be some limit to it, though. Namekians could regenerate, but not in perpetuity. Trunks needed to find Frieza's flaw, and he knew the perfect way to do it. The Demi-Saiyan phased out of sight and reappeared inches above the water. Up above, Frieza's head was twisting and turning in every direction, frantically trying to locate him. He eventually would, but by then, Trunks' plan would already be in motion.
Trunks reached over his shoulder and grabbed his sword. He unsheathed it from its orange scabbard and gripped it tightly. He'd used it before on opponents that totally outclassed him in speed, so the sword hadn't been very effective, but Frieza was a different case. The Frost Demon was a foe that Trunks knew he was superior to. His attack would work this time; it had to.
Trunks bolstered his fizzling Super Saiyan aura and ascended to Frieza. The radiant light pulsating off Trunks immediately drew the despot's gaze. The Frost Demon tried to lash out with a kick as Trunks closed the distance between them but found his leg missing. Trunks effortlessly slashed his sword, and the appendage came off. It splooshed into the water along with Frieza's other leg, arms, and torso.
Trunks slashed and slashed until his arms grew weary. By the time he was done, all that was left of Frieza was the Frost Demon's head. He cursed the Demi-Saiyan before Trunks plunged the tip of his blade directly into the tyrant's face. Trunks chopped it in half and paused to examine his handiwork as the final pieces of Frieza's body disappeared into the water, swallowed by Lake Geneva. The engravings on his sword were glowing, but Trunks couldn't make heads or tails of them; he didn't know Greek.
He hoped that it was a good omen; the sword had never done this before, but just to be sure, he would double-check with T.I.G.H.T.S. He rolled back his sleeve and spoke to the watch on his right wrist.
"TIGHTS, can you translate –"
" -You're not done with me yet, monkey!" Frieza's voice interrupted. Trunks whipped his head around and turned as pale as the moonlight. The Frost Demon had risen from the lake and was flying toward him. It shouldn't have been possible, but Frieza's body had fixed itself!
No! No! No! This can't be happening! This is Gohan's sword; it cuts atoms. Frieza can regenerate at that level? Whether that was the case or not, Frieza was healed, and the two warriors' struggle ensued once more. If the sword alone wouldn't do the trick, there were still other ways to permanently put down Frieza, Trunks decided. He would use the sword in conjunction with his Ki, but Frieza didn't grant him the opportunity.
The Frost Demon ripped the sword from Trunks' grasp. The Demi-Saiyan tried to retrieve it, but Frieza's telekinetic powers were too much. Trunks blinked, and his sword was in Frieza's palm.
"Such a dangerous tool," Frieza inspected the weapon, juggling it in his hands. "It would be better suited in my arsenal, but it's best I take it off the board completely," Frieza smirked and launched the sword into orbit. Trunks watched hopelessly as his sword ascended higher and higher until it was nothing more than a twinkle in the sky. The Demi-Saiyan tried to chase after his weapon but found himself stuck in place.
"Ah, ah, ah, where do you think you're going?" Frieza tsked while wagging a finger with his free hand. His other hand was telekinetically squeezing Trunks' bones, hoping to crush them, but that didn't last long. Trunks yelled, and his Super Saiyan aura sizzled around him. He blitzed Frieza and punched him with all his might. The Ki-reinforced blow caused a whirlpool to form in the lake underneath them.
With that amount of force, Frieza's head should've torn from its neck, but the Frost Demon's face barely budged. He laughed and thwacked Trunks with his tail. It barely stung, but the attack caught Trunks off guard, stunning him. Frieza used that opening to shove the Demi-Saiyan into the lake with his telekinesis. As much as it pained Frieza to admit, his telekinesis was the only advantage he held in this battle, and he would have to keep relying on it.
The cold frigid water hit Trunks like a ton of bricks as he plunged into it. A large splash announced his arrival. He was soaked instantly and found it increasingly harder and harder to breathe as he descended further into the lake. His view of Frieza at this point was blurry at best, but he could still make out the telltale signs of an imminent attack, and sure enough, five Ki beams were headed his way. Trunks braced himself for impact, but the attacks never reached their intended destination; someone stepped in the way.
Dragonball DC
Frieza's Ki beams slammed into Superman's chest and dissipated. The Frost Demon was surprised, to say the least, when he saw the man of steel floating over Lake Geneva. Clark hovered over the area where Trunks had disappeared and listened for his heartbeat. The rhythmic sounds of Trunks' breath relieved Superman and allowed him to focus his attention elsewhere. Aquaman would retrieve Trunks momentarily, but right now, Frieza required all of Superman's immediate focus.
Superman blasted off to engage the Frost Demon, heat vision blazing in his eyes. Frieza's reaction was quick but not quick enough to evade the two punches that rocked his jaw. His head felt like a pinball as Superman continued his brutal assault. For once, Clark didn't have to hold back; Frieza could more than handle the punishment. In fact, Clark was concerned that his unleashed strength still might not be enough, but for the moment, Frieza seemed to be getting battered.
Large thick dents formed all across Frieza's metallic skin as he attempted to block some of Superman's strikes but to no avail. Superman peppered the Frost Demon with jabs, hooks, and straights. The wind whistled around the enemy combatants as they danced across the sky. One of Clark's goals was to force Frieza back to land, and he was almost there; just a few more yards and the galactic despot would be in for a surprise.
The pair crossed a beach, a different one than the one Trunks had flown over, and Superman used his frost breath to incapacitate Frieza. A sturdy sheet of ice covered Frieza from head to toe. The Frost Demon's eyes widened in panic as he sensed something approaching rapidly from behind.
"Special Beam Canon!"
A spiraling beam of light pierced Frieza's backside; it tore through the dense sheet of ice like paper and blew a hole straight through his chest. The world grew dark for a moment, and Frieza heard his enemies discussing their potential victory, but when his eyes fluttered back open, their hopes were dashed.
"That should've –"
Piccolo's sentence was left trailing indefinitely as Frieza suddenly phased in front of him. The Namekian was aghast, and Frieza couldn't help but chortle as he began to pulverize him. Frieza got in five good blows before Superman interfered. The Kryptonian tackled Frieza from his rear, sending them both sputtering to the ground. Frieza landed face first, with a mouth full of dirt. He angrily spat it out and flared his Ki, knocking Superman back. The ground underneath his feet and the surrounding area started to quake, but a new assailant quickly put an end to that.
A golden trident stabbed Frieza in his eyes. The Frost Demon's head whipped back, and he was forced to power down. The throbbing pain in his eyes wasn't as intense as he thought it would be, but the momentary lack of vision greatly annoyed Frieza. His eyes would heal, but not so long as the trident remained stuck there. Frieza tried to pull it out of his face, but several bolts of lightning impeded his plan; they coursed through his body.
The trident was eventually removed, but by its owner, who proceeded to stab Frieza repeatedly. They were flesh wounds that healed instantly, but Aquaman was unrelenting. When Frieza's eyes finally regenerated, he realized he'd already fought this man before, as well as the Kryptonian who'd attacked him earlier.
"More automatons? When will it end?" Frieza shouted, incensed.
"It ends here, you monster!" A voice answered. It was distinctly feminine, and when Frieza looked up, he saw Wonder Woman tangling him with her lasso. The Amazon bound him so tight that both his arms were pancaked together; he was practically hugging himself.
"Your reign of terror is over. You will pay for your crimes against this planet and countless others!"
"Crimes? No. It's Frieza's right to do as he pleases with the universe. You Earthlings have more than earned my son's ire." All the combatants on the battlefield turned their collective heads at the sound of a new voice and saw King Cold hovering in the distance. His red cape billowed in the wind, and disappointment was written on his face.
"Father! What are you doing here? I don't require your assistance!" Frieza rasped. It was one humiliation after the other. Sure, he was entangled at the moment, but he'd escaped far dire situations in the past.
"Your current set of circumstances says otherwise, Frieza," King Cold sighed. "It appears I'll have to step in and rectify this situation. I can't let allow these cretins to gang up on you; that simply isn't just." King Cold's pupils faded, and his skin began to bulge.
A big thank you to everyone who reviewed chapter 76!
A/N: I changed the cover art of this story. I commissioned some new artwork, and Darko-simple-ART did an amazing job. If you want to see the full picture, it's available on my blog, which is in my bio.
Q/A:
BrianShooter672: Thanks for the kind words. I don't understand your question. Did you ask who would defeat Frieza?
SirMaou: I think you answered your own question: plot armor, lol.
Revenant1220: Gohan will become a Super Saiyan soon.
Raul The Frustrated Fanboy: Yes, Diana is taller than Goku.
Maximum Rhapsody: A lot of your questions are potential spoilers, so unfortunately, I can't answer them at this current time.
Historiasrandom: Sorry I kept you waiting so long for another update. Your concerns regarding Batman will be addressed.
musizlover2008: Beerus will appear in this story eventually.
OrangoDBZ: Happy belated birthday, I hope you enjoyed it.
TheRightPrice: Broly will be powerful, but he likely won't reach those heights in this story.
Vault Hunter: The previous chapter served as a partial recap of the various fights with Frieza's forces. I've been on a hiatus for a few months, and I figured it was highly likely that some of my readers forgot what happened in previous chapters. I used chapter 76 as a refresher and as a way to cap off the initial portion of Frieza's invasion. I hope you enjoyed Frieza's battle in this chapter. Your concerns about the number of characters joining the fight with Frieza will be addressed. I think you mentioned most of the ongoing plots.
Jackalope89: I hope your move went well. Starfire would be my secondary pairing for Nightwing. Their daughter from the Kingdom Come verse was really cool, and they also have a son in another story.
kaffeenator666: I plan on finishing this story one day, no matter how long it takes, lol. Yeah, the previous chapter was fairly repetitive, but I hope you enjoyed Frieza's clash with the Earth's heroes in this chapter. I've tried to avoid the power level thing because it's difficult to gauge, but I could try to come up with some other sort of ranking system.
gotham0101: Hippolyta is aware of her grandson's existence, but due to her current circumstances, she'll likely never meet him. Jonathan Kent and Damian Wayne, if they do appear in this story, won't be age mates with Goten and Trunks.
CRUDEN: You'll likely get an entire chapter dedicated to Fury and Trunks' timeline.
