Chapter 22
A/N: Didn't realize this story had such a following on Twitter, I don't really look at view counts, and since I don't get a lot of comments on this story, I figured not a lot of people were reading it. Thank you all, for that pleasant surprise.
Someone asked about the timeline, Chapter 21 and this Chapter take place a few weeks after Chapter 20. Oh and I picture the dress Olivia is wearing in this Chapter to be the dress from the episode 911.
Just to clarify, I've "shipped" Benson with multiple people, but one person I could never understand, or get into is Brian Cassidy. He reminds me of every frat boy I've ever met. Nothing against the actual actor, but Cassidy's the most immature, slimy character, I don't know why they ever paired someone like that with Benson of all people.
Sorry for the delay, health sucks. Picks up where we left off.
Disclaimer: If I owned SVU, I would've killed Cassidy not Tucker. Sorry not sorry.
Tuesday Morning, 16th Precinct, Cribs
Olivia was abruptly startled awake when she received an elbow to her ribs. "Ow, what the fu-"
"Oh shit, I'm sorry Liv," Elliot propped himself up on his arm, "You okay?"
Olivia groaned, "Ye-yeah, what happened?"
Elliot scrubbed a hand down his face, "Sorry, I've never shared a bed with another person."
Olivia was rubbing a hand over his pec but paused when his words sank in. Although she herself didn't particularly enjoy sharing a bed with past boyfriends, and conquests, she never considered the fact that Elliot had never slept with anyone else, ever.
"Are you uncomfortable?" Olivia tipped her head towards his.
"God no, I was sleeping soundly, just the way I moved, must've knocked you…" Elliot trailed off, his normally crystal clear baby blues were clouded from sleep.
Olivia gave him a small smile, checking the time on the table by their heads made her groan, "It's 4am, let's try to get a couple more hours?"
"Mmhm, I set my alarm for 6am, and told Rodriguez to call me if he needs either of us. Get some sleep, you need your rest," Elliot left a lingering kiss on her forehead as they settled back into the mattress.
XxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxXxX
6am came earlier than either of them wanted. Olivia didn't want to leave the warm cocoon they had created. Elliot had thrown the sheet over their heads as the morning sunrise threatened their sanctuary.
Elliot had Olivia pinned to the mattress, resting between her legs, his head on her chest.
Olivia scratched her nails through his hair, it had grown out since his first cut, where he had it closely shaved, "Hope I don't get you sick."
Elliot smoothed his lips over her bosom, kissing and pulling her silky skin into his mouth, "I've got a pretty good immune system, but it'd be worth it, either way."
Olivia moaned, "Better not be leaving marks Detective."
"Don't tempt me Cap-"
Elliot was cut off by his snooze alarm, reaching a hand out from under their blanket he grabbed his phone.
"Feel like I could stay here all day," Olivia confessed as he stopped the noise.
Elliot glanced down at her, noticing a slight blush creeping up her cheeks.
"I know I could, I've never-I mean I know I told you that already, but I didn't expect to sleep so well with you in my arms, I could-that's something I could definitely get use to," Elliot didn't want her to think she was the only one who enjoyed their night.
"I don't usually…I normally do the walk of shame, I don't like sharing a bed, actually sleeping beside someone else, I feel claustrophobic, but it felt so good, being wrapped in your embrace last night," Olivia blushed deeply.
Elliot smiled at her, a dimple appearing in his cheek, he leaned his body against hers, grasping her bottom lip between his, he sucked and pulled on her lip for a good five seconds, releasing it with a pop.
Olivia gasped as she felt his morning wood on the inside of her thigh. Even through their clothes, she could feel every inch of her young lover. Olivia hummed as Elliot pushed against her pelvis, "W-we don't have ti-time."
Elliot groaned as he clamped his mouth over the base of her neck, where it met her shoulder.
Olivia could feel the vibrations through her body as he moaned against her soft smooth skin.
Closing her eyes to enjoy the sensation he was creating, they sprang open when she heard voices outside the cribs.
Olivia slapped him on his butt twice, "Come on, we've got to get ready, the next shift will be coming in soon."
Elliot finally detached from her neck, and with a great deal of effort they pulled back the blankets that created their warm, cozy cocoon, and opened their lockers to begin their days.
Elliot continued to flirt with her as they gathered their work clothes, whining when she wouldn't just change in front of him. After changing in the bathroom, she entered the bunk and locker area to find him struggling with his pants, his bare chiseled chest distracting her for a moment.
She laughed as Elliot struggled to cram his erection back into his work slacks. Promising him another sleepover that would hopefully end differently.
Olivia suddenly felt a warm feeling creeping up her stomach. She only had a moment to slap a hand over her mouth as she turned, and ran back to the bathroom.
Elliot jogged after her, finding Olivia on her knees, grasping the sides of the toilet, whatever left in her stomach, swimming in the bowl below.
Olivia felt Elliot sweep her long locks into his hand while he flushed the toilet. "You're still not feeling good, I'm so sorry, is there anything I can do?"
Elliot handed Olivia some toilet paper, holding her arm and hip as she stood, wiping her mouth. She tossed it into the toilet, trying to take some deep breaths but ended up in a coughing fit instead.
"Liv, do you think you should go home?" Elliot was concerned, despite the shower they took last night that really seemed to cut through her congestion, she still had a bad cough, and nausea.
Olivia shook her head, "We have so much to deal with, especially this morning. If things settle down, I'll see how I'm feeling later. Thank you for caring."
Elliot pulled her towards him, and wrapped her in his warm embrace, "'Course, just wanna take care of you."
Elliot checked to make sure the coast was clear and left the cribs, giving her time to brush her teeth. Taking another 10 minutes she finished what she could of her morning ritual, feeling slightly better since throwing up. She was going to kill Nick for the way she was feeling, she left the cribs to go deal with the Cassidy situation.

Wednesday Evening, 16th Precinct, SVU Squad Room
Cassidy didn't wait long to make another appearance in their squad room, showing up 2 days later. It was obvious he wasn't there for work, and had showed up to see Olivia. Monday morning Nick had come in early, hoping to make up for infecting most of his colleagues with the flu. He had taken care of getting Brian out of jail, in a believable way, so his Captain didn't have to deal with him. Elliot was happy he didn't have to see him again either, although they had been working his case ever since.
This is how Elliot found him 2 days later, lounging on the couch in Olivia's office, his arms and legs spread like he owned the place.
Elliot stopped short when he opened his Captain's door, interrupting their conversation. "Oh, uh sorry didn't realize you weren't alone," Elliot narrowed his eyes at Cassidy.
Before Brian could respond Olivia spoke up, "What'd you need Elliot?"
Elliot ignored her question, "Should he really be here?"
Cassidy stood up from the couch, "What'd you just say?"
Elliot shook his head, "Aren't you suppose to be undercover? Should you risk being seen going into a police precinct?"
"Elliot's got a point Cassidy, you shouldn't have come here," Olivia took a few steps towards both men. "He's just doing his job by questioning why you're here," but Elliot and Olivia both knew that wasn't true.
Cassidy laughed loudly, "You gotta be kidding me, besides we all know how he got this job."
Olivia's eyebrows flew to her hairline. Did Brian know that they were sleeping together, or did he think that that's how Stabler got the job in the first place, by sleeping with her?
Olivia didn't have time to contemplate her thoughts as Elliot responded to Cassidy.
"What did you just say?" Elliot took another step towards Brian.
Still chuckling even though nothing was funny, Cassidy continued, "We all know the only reason you got this job is because of your last name, you're not a real Detective, you didn't earn that badge kid."
Olivia sprang into action, she knew it was going to happen. She rushed forward, putting herself between the two men, she grabbed Elliot by his bulging biceps and pushed him back. Brian took the opportunity to punch Elliot, striking him on his cheek, as Olivia held his arms.
They both jerked to the side, almost falling over from Brian's cheap shot. Grabbing ahold of one another, and standing up straight Olivia whispered, "Please El."
"Son of a bitch," Elliot exclaimed.
"Get out of here, go to the cribs, consider that an order," Olivia demanded, practically pushing him out of her office.
"You're kicking me out?" Elliot exclaimed outraged that she was choosing to stay with Cassidy.
"Yes, I need to have a word with Detective Cassidy," Olivia wasn't his girlfriend at the moment, he recognized that he was speaking to Captain Benson.
Sending one last death glare at Cassidy, Elliot turned and quickly left her office, slamming the door behind him.
Olivia watched him storm across the squad room, then turned her attention to the remaining detective in the room. She pushed him in the chest, distancing him from her, "What the hell was that?!"
Brian scoffed and plopped down on her couch again. "That kid's in way over his head, shouldn't even be here, I've heard how his Daddy's name got him the job."
"Elliot may not have had to pay his dues, but he has earned his position here, he's becoming a good Detective and I trust El implicitly," Olivia didn't know why she felt the need to defend him, even if what Cassidy was saying was true.
"El? Elliot?" Brian quirked an eyebrow at her, while rubbing his sore hand.
Olivia squinted at the man sitting on her office couch, "What about him?"
Cassidy scowled, "Ar-are you screwing him?"
Olivia opened her mouth in shock, "Excuse me?"
"You only call people you're close to by their first names. People who you have a personal, even intimate, relationship with. So what Daddy got him this gig, and he's ensuring he keeps it by getting in your pants? Damn Liv," Brian slapped his hand against his knee.
"Wow, you really think I'm so, what desperate, that I'd let somebody use me like that? That I'd tolerate something like that?" Olivia couldn't believe they were even having this conversation.
Brian looked down at the ground, feeling guilty for what he accused her of, "I'm sorry, I just… I've been floundering as a Detective for over a decade, and this punk just gets it handed to him on a silver platter-"
Olivia held up her hand, and interrupted him, "I wasn't pleased when I was told to hire him either, but I can promise you, he's earned his spot in this unit since then. I would defend any person in my squad the same way, because I trust them all."
"And Elliot was right about something else too, you shouldn't be here. Anyone could be tailing you, unless we contact you, you shouldn't come back here," Olivia walked over to her office door, preparing to open it when his rough voice interrupted her.
"Is this your way of suggesting I meet you someplace else, let's say your place?" Cassidy raised his eyebrow up and down as he approached her.
"Are you for real? I'm throwing your ass out and you're asking me if I want to hookup at my apartment?" Olivia spoke slowly to make sure she was clarifying his statement.
Brian grabbed her by her hips, and pushed her against the wall beside the closed door. "Exactly," he huffed as he lowered his lips to hers. His lips brushed her cheek as she turned her head, and once again pushed against his chest.
"No," she gasped in a hoarse whisper.
"Come on, I thought you said there's nothing going on with that kid, so what's the problem?" Cassidy questioned, planting his arms on the wall beside her shoulders.
Olivia shook her head, technically she hadn't denied anything that had to do with Elliot, "Let me make myself abundantly clear Cassidy. I don't want you coming here, and I don't want to meet you at my apartment, or anywhere else, unless it's case related. Do you understand me?"
Cassidy furrowed his eyebrows, he pressed against the wall and stood up straight, putting a few feet between them. "Really?"
Olivia took the opportunity to open her office door, "We'll be in touch Detective Cassidy."
Cassidy opened and closed his mouth a couple times, before leaving her office in a hurry. She sighed loudly, and rubbed her forehead, she could feel the tension in her muscles.
Olivia took a deep breath, and left her office to go find an angry Elliot pacing between the cots in the small room.
He was muttering under his breath when she entered and closed the door, leaning against it, she waited for him to stop or acknowledge her existence. Olivia chuckled lightly, she found it ironic that Elliot was a younger man but Cassidy was the one acting like an immature, horny teenager all the time.
Elliot stopped walking and looked towards her when he heard her laugh.
"What the hell was that?!"
She had seen a lot of sides of her youthful boyfriend but she had never seen him so angry. It was always easy for her to read the emotions in his expressive baby blues and in that moment she hated what she saw. Anger, confusion, but the worst thing she noted was betrayal.
"I know you can't show favouritism but how could you just-just-shit, you just tossed me aside, for that giant asshole. Why was he even here? He's all over you, and don't tell me it's all in my head," Elliot dropped to a cot, the fight visibly leaving his body. Resting his head in his hands, sighing heavily, he looked so defeated.
Olivia slowly approached him, she stood over him, standing between his legs, she ran her hand over the back of his head and neck.
"I threw him out," she spoke so softly that if it weren't for his head popping up to look up at her, she would have thought he didn't hear her.
Elliot's hesitant eyes looked up at her, "Really?"
Olivia nodded as she caressed his strong jawline, "Told him not to come back unless we contact him."
Elliot gulped loudly, "That's why you ordered me to leave, so you could toss him out on his ass?"
"Yes, to go over some boundaries and to tell him to leave," Olivia explained.
Elliot placed a hand on her waist, above her badge, "I would have liked to see that."
Olivia smirked, "I'm sure you would have, he shouldn't be a problem for us in the future."
Elliot nodded slowly, he tugged her by her waist, his lips kissing her stomach, "Go on a date with me this Friday?"
Olivia's breath hitched, not expecting that question. "We can't-I mean, we shouldn't, someone might see us."
Elliot shook his head, her blouse getting twisted by the movement. "I want to take you on a real date, please, we can go out of town if you want, where nobody will know us, dinner and a movie? What do you say?"
Olivia bit her bottom lip, truthfully after the last few weeks it would be a nice change of pace, to get out of Manhattan, and to actually experience a date with her boyfriend. They wouldn't have to hide, they could hold hands, and not worry about being spotted.
"Okay," Olivia agreed.
Elliot stood from the bunk bed, "Yeah?" The grin on his face couldn't get any wider if he tried.
"Yes," Olivia laughed softly, unable to keep the smile from her own lips.
"I'll pick you up at 7, I'll take care of everything," Elliot grabbed her chin, giving her a chaste kiss.
Breaking apart before things got too intense Elliot continued, "And thank you for taking care of Cassidy, I can't exactly blame him, I know I'm not your first, but just the thought of him being with you, touching yo-"
"Elliot if I wanted to be with Cassidy, I'd be with him, I can't change my past, but I get to choose who I spend my present and future with, and I'm choosing you," Olivia patted his chest, "Come on let's get back to work."

Friday Evening, Olivia Benson's Apartment
Olivia was putting the finishing touches on her makeup when she heard her doorbell ring. After checking her peephole she opened her door to a small bouquet of roses.
She grinned widely, "Why thank you El, you didn't have to, come on in for a moment, just have to grab my purse."
Olivia left the door open and walked into her kitchen to grab the purse she had left on her counter. She stuck her head around the corner when she didn't see or hear Elliot.
"El? Is something wrong?"
Elliot was still standing in her doorway, his mouth open, in a frozen trance.
"Elliot?" Olivia called again.
Elliot shook his head, "Uhhh-I'm uh, you look so beautiful," and she really did. She was wearing a little black dress, with a v neckline, showcasing her cleavage, the dress ended a couple inches above her knees, leaving her long legs exposed. The heels on her feet just accentuated the firm muscles of her calves and ass.
Olivia blushed, "Thank you El, you look rather handsome yourself." Elliot was wearing a black dress shirt, the first few buttons were left open, she could see a hint of the start of his strong pec muscles. His blazer and pants were a navy blue. She smiled as he approached her in the small kitchen, placing the flowers on the counter. He leaned in towards her, placing his hands on the tabletop on either side of her body.
"Hi," he whispered, she could feel his breath against her lips.
"Hi," Olivia smiled as he pecked her lips, she was just about to suggest they get going when he kissed her again, pulling her bottom lip between his, sucking softly. He placed his hands on her hips, keeping her trapped against the counter.
Olivia moaned as she smoothed her hands up his chest, and around his neck, pulling him firmly against her body. A part of her had been worried that their natural chemistry wouldn't translate outside of their jobs, maybe it was the excitement of dating her younger Detective, or the unexpected arousal they both experienced at the chance they could get caught, she was concerned the date would be weird or possibly awkward even. She was pleasantly surprised to know, and feel the same attraction and feelings she always felt for him.
Olivia could feel him beginning to harden against her thigh, and could feel herself getting worked up as well.
If they were ever going to leave her apartment she had to put a stop to their impromptu make out session. With a great deal of effort she pulled back, breaking their kiss, she leaned her head against his. They both took a minute to catch their breath.
"Ready?" Elliot questioned in a breathy whisper.
"Oh yes," Olivia purred, the double meaning not lost on either of them.
Elliot smirked, he dropped his hands from her hips, and walked towards the front door. Olivia took a deep breath and quickly opened a cabinet door, grabbing a vase, making sure the flowers were secured, she double checked she had everything she needed in her purse. Satisfied she was ready she approached Elliot who was holding her door open for her.
She locked her apartment and together they made their way down to the street to catch a cab to the restaurant where Elliot had made reservations. As she slid into the backseat of the taxi she found herself looking forward to the night ahead and prayed their phones remained silent for a night.
