King Bael sat in the middle of his throne while his two nephews sat in their chairs beside him. The throne room was dark and lit with purple fire.

King Bael was as intimidating as they come. He was as big and as tall as King Paimon and King Purson. His body was dark primarily with his face being in his torso. He had shoulder pads resembling spider webs with large, curvy spikes at the end. Little spider charms were hanging down from strings of web. The head was a fake head with three faces and a crown – the face of a demonic frog on one side, a demonic cat on the other side, and in front, a smiling human face with six eyes on the front. The cat and frog eyes were glowing purple light while the human eyes were black. On top of the heads rested the black and golden crown. His torso was where his true face was. A giant purple eye opened with a large and demonic mouth.

King Bael was known by many names. One of his more infamous names was 'The Exorcist Eater.' Exorcist angels were not known to show and possibly not even feel fear, but if they did, then King Bael was something for them to fear. Powerful beings in Hell, such as the Goetia Family, make it a sport to hunt and kill Exorcist angels, and King Bael not killed them but devoured them.

Leo, a demonic cockatiel bird, was tall, strong, and powerful. He was going to take his uncle's place as the next Goetia King. Ever since he was little, he has been hailed as a prodigy in swordsmanship. He was powerful with magic, but his true talent was in physical combat. It was rumored he battled against an Archangel, but no one knows for sure. What many don't know is he has a human boyfriend named Samir. In the human world, Leo is an athletic bodybuilder. In Hell, he's one of the most powerful dark lords of the Goetia Family. He is widely respected and feared.

Leo's half-brother and Zepar's second son, Francesco, was a demonic green parrot. He was much younger than his brother and not as heavily built. He was handsome with green and red feathers with hair of the same color. He was going to take his father's place as the next Duke of Hell. He wasn't a prodigy like Leo, but like Stolas, he was mighty powerful in his full demon form, as was Leo. Fran was also very influential with magic and grew up with Octavia.

Cody and Loona felt nervous as King Bael opened his one glowing eye and mouth as he spoke. Leo and Francesco also opened their glowing eyes – Leo's eyes glowed yellow, and Fran's was turquoise.

"Hello, hello, hello . . . welcome, welcome, my honored guests," King Bael spoke.

"Presenting our honored guests, my dark lords! His Royal Highness, King Purson. Duke Dantalion, Prince Stolas, and his daughter, Princess Octavia. Sir Cody and Dame Loona with Kyo and Kely!" a servant announced.

"Heil King Bael!" King Purson declared.

Everyone bowed in respect.

King Bael spoke with a smile, "Purson! Splendid to see you again! And Dan, it's been too long!"

Duke Dantalion nodded, "Yes, it has."

"How are things in Nightmare City? I hear that's where everyone's going, right?"

"A lot of people are coming in, yes. It's gotten real busy, real fast."

"Wonderful, and Purson, you look marvelous! Always the fierce lion, aren't you?" King Bael asked.

"Oh, you know me, Bael. I never say no to a smashing time. I never back down from a fight, and this war is the challenge I've long waited to welcome," King Purson said, letting his thick British out.

"My dark lords, allow me to introduce the ones that you've been eagerly waiting to see, Sir Cody and Dame Loona," Duke Dantalion presented, "This is the boy that everyone has been talking about."

"And my most powerful and valuable soldier," King Purson added.

"Heil, my dark king," Cody said as he bowed again.

King Bael stood up and approached Cody, examining him, "Ah, yes. The newly young knight of Hell. The Golden Boy. The Slayer of Overlords. The Son of the Archangel of Death."

He stood in front of Cody, looking down right at him. He used magic to change his size to Loona's height.

"The Guardian of Hell. I must say . . . what a true honor it is to finally meet the person who has . . . sacrificed so much for the greater good of Hell," King Bael said.

He held Cody's wrist and gently squeezed.

"You made all the difference in Hell against a great evil. If only we had more like you," King Bael said, turning to his nephews, "Boys, come meet him."

Leo and Francesco descended from their thrones and approached him. Cody stood up straight as they gazed upon him.

"This is the rescued human turned celebrity, rockstar, and then turned soldier?" Francesco asked with a smile, "You're taller than I thought you'd be."

Leo circled him as he eyed him.

"I admit, his power is incredible . . . but not perfect. Still, the Fallen Angels and Four Horsemen taught you well. I see why Valentino met his fatal end," Leo said.

"It was awesome! You showed that piece of shit whose boss. Oh, Satan, I wish I was there. I would die a happy demon if I could burn that bastard with my flame," Francesco said as a small green appeared in his hand.

King Bael and Francesco turned to Loona, who was as nervous as her boy.

"And you must be the Hellhound who rescued this young cub and took him in as your own," King Bael said.

"Yes, my dark king. I'm his adoptive mother," Loona replied.

"And what a lovely mother/warrior knight you are," Francesco complimented.

"You're too kind."

"Sir Cody," Leo spoke.

"Yes, my dark lord?" Cody responded.

Leo held his hand out, "May I see your sword?"

The room was silent as Cody glanced around at everyone. Then he looked up at his king, King Purson, and he nodded with a slight wave of his hand. Cody held out his hand. A giant orb of light emerged, and then it took form into his sword before making a loud metal clanging sound.

Seeing that enormous sword never got old. The handle alone was the length of a spear. Leo gripped it tight as he examined it before taking some steps away to take some practice swings with it. He was able to get the blue and white flame going. As Cody and his friends watched, it was clear that he was trained. His swings and thrusts were so clean and perfect with his form without the slightest sign of amateur. When finished, he stood up straight and looked at the sword.

"Powerful, but a bit too blade heavy, but its effects are deadly. You are most fortunate that this sword chose you, Sir Cody," Leo said, handing it to him.

Enchanted weapons, especially powerful weapons, chose their master. In a way, the weapons reflect their welders' souls.

"It has served me well in this war," Cody replied.

Francesco and Kely hugged and kissed each other like couples while whispering to each other. Leo talked to Stolas, and King Bael continued to speak with Cody, Loona, and King Purson. Then, they went to a meeting room where several of King Bael's high-ranking knights were waiting. A big screen on the wall showed Asmodeus and Lucifer with Lilith through video call. As soon as everyone was acquainted, they got to business.

"Now, I'm told that there is a problem on the surface involving a human organization. Is that right, Purson?" King Bael asked.

"Sir Cody will deliver our briefing," King Purson replied.

Cody stood up as the projection turned on.

"The organization calls itself The Investigators of Super Natural Activity, or I.S.N.A.. In public, they're a conspiracy group searching for anything supernatural, such as aliens or monsters. In reality and secret, they're a neo-Templar order," Cody explained as the projection showed pictures of them and their symbols.

Cody pressed the button to show the I.S.N.A. facilities, personnel, and inventory, including weapons.

"They are well-financed. They have numbers. They are armed and extremely dangerous," Cody said and then showed a map with bright dots, "These are the locations that we know of, but there are likely many others."

"What do they want?" King Bael asked.

Cody hesitantly answered, "Me."

"You?" Lilith asked.

"They put a price on my head. Alive only, and we think the price may have risen since then, but we're not sure. What we do know for sure is that they are targeting demons and people who either are involved with demons or do not share their religious points of view. Prince Stolas and his daughter, Princess Octavia, have been helping us solve this, and in our pursuit of finding the truth, we learned something else," Cody explained.

The projection showed pictures of Cody's basement, equipment, and books marked with the Grimm's insignia.

"Valentino murdered my parents because they were Grimms. They were going to smuggle Angel Dust and Husk into Heaven. The I.S.N.A. has attacked my brother Tommy and his pregnant wife," Cody explained.

Everyone groaned with shock from that last sentence.

Cody continued, "They're both alive, so don't worry. The I.S.N.A. has killed both demons and humans. They have also kidnapped them and taken them to their strongholds to torture, interrogate, and do who knows what."

Ozzie cleared his throat, "How many have been kidnapped?"

Kyo answered, "It's hard to say, but it's hundreds – possibly thousands. There are more locations, but we don't know where."

Octavia stood up, "Their places are magic-protected, so we can't summon portals to rescue those held against their will. On top of that, they're interconnected with the latest in cybersecurity. The minute something breaks their barrier, it'll set off alarms alerting the other compounds."

"In which case, if we attack one place, the rest will know, and we could lose them forever," Stolas said.

Duke Dantalion spoke next, "Our hands are full with the war. So, we're here asking for your help, my dark lords."

"What can we do?" Francesco asked, glancing at his brother and uncle.

Loona answered, "We found a hacker who can take down the security system. Once it's down, we must hit as many of their strongholds as possible in one coordinated strike. For that, we need more soldiers . . . more warriors."

"We're asking you to loan your army to fight this terrible threat and rescue those held by the I.S.N.A.," King Purson added.

King Bael blinked his one eye before looking at his nephews.

"Boys?" King Bael asked.

"I'd say let's help. This problem is not going away on its own," Francesco said.

"Discretion is key. The world cannot know about the existence of demons. I agree we should help, but we need to do this right," Leo stated.

"So, we're all in favor?" King Bael asked.

His nephews nodded. They turned to the others.

"We're in. I, King Bael, loan you my full support in eradicating this danger," King Bael said and then turned to his oldest nephew, "Leo."

"Sir," Leo answered.

"Assemble the army. Rally your finest knights. You too, Fran. Let's begin to attack."

The rest of the day, they planned when to attack, from where, and with how many soldiers. Cody and his friends gave them all the information they needed. Ozzie said he'll keep the travel ban from going up to the surface as long as he can, but demons in his ring are desperate for their missing kin and friends. Leo didn't like secrets, so Cody told him about Melman.

"You're best from school, is there too?" Leo asked.

"Yes, my dark lord. I don't know why they have him, but I imagine it's the same reason why they attacked my brother," Cody answered.

"Then best you stay out of this mission and let us handle it. I'll get him out of there myself if he's in there."

"Thank you, my dark lord."

Meanwhile

Melman shivered in his cell, trying to stay warm. He couldn't get the image of his parents getting killed out of his head. Then, a man with red hair and a red suit walked into the room. His eyes were red, and he had a cane with a black steel wolf's head. Vlad Nicholson, aka Red Moon. A rich, popular, and powerful man who was bitten by a werewolf.

"Melman Clarkwell, so good to see you," Vlad spoke.

"What are you going to do to me?" Melman asked.

Vlad crouched down to his level, "I'm going to you into what you were always destined to be. But first . . . I'm going to break you."
