Throughout the remainder of class that day Bakugo continued to divert his attention from the current lesson to the back of the classroom where she sat with a slight blush to his cheeks, until Cementoss walked by still reading from his book and successfully smacking the blond in the back of his head with rolled-up paper on his way down the aisle. Cursing under his breath Bakugo begrudgingly turned his head back to his own book but not before shooting off nasty glares at some of the people who he heard quietly chuckle.

Smiling to herself Uraraka continued to follow along in her book or at least follow as best as she could since her mind kept wandering off and replaying what had happened between them over and over again and anytime she did, she felt that same excited feeling in her lower stomach.

To be honest she was still surprised at herself for being so bold as to do something like that, not that she minded in the least, she actually liked it. But that didn't stop her face from burning up everytime she remembered the beautiful sounds he made that encouraged her to just keep going.

Bakugo was attractive and everyone knew it. Heck he was considered quiet the catch in school, but seeing him like that…flustered, sweating, breathless, eyes pleading and gasping her name between groans of pleasure, and that face…that handsome face as he moaned out when he finally-

'Ok Ochaco this isn't the time!' Pressing her lips together she stole a quick glance his way, surprised to see him now looking forward and leaning back in his seat with his hand raised to answer one of Cementoss's questions. 'I better pay attention.'

When class finally ended, and she started gathering her things she was startled to see Mina throwing herself on top of her desk. "Mina?!"

Lifting her head, the pink girl gave her a sheepish grin before recomposing herself. "Sorry babe had to make sure I arrived before Mr. Explosion Murder did. Since I know you saw my message missy!"

"Oh um…ok" Uraraka said placing the last of her things into her bag. "But remember I have cleaning duty."

"Pfft nothing to it, I'll even help." Mina dismissively waved off with her hand. And as if on cue they saw the rest of the Bakusquad already approaching. "Speaking of which…" she mumbled. "Hey!"

Grinning Kirishima gave her a light kiss on the forehead. "Hey, we've gotta go and pick up some last-minute things for the food stand tomorrow and set up. You guys coming?"

Some of her classmates had offered to pick up groceries for their school festival food stand this weekend including Bakugo- well more like he was forced to volunteer in cooking since none of them 'could cook worth a damn' in his words.

She did feel bad that she couldn't contribute as much but decided to at least help set up a little after she was done cleaning before heading on over to Hawks since they had asked for the weekend off due to the festival.

"Sorry boys no can do. I'm helping my girl out with the cleaning." Mina draped her arm over Urarakas shoulders with a small wink.

"You're going to help clean?" With a raised brow Bakugo saw the pink girl stick out her tongue but instead of responding, decided to keep his eyes on Uraraka with a soft smile on his face that unfortunately for him Raccoon eyes caught. Which made him quickly avert his gaze afterwards.

"Alright dudes let's go already, I've gotta go meet someone soon." Kaminari lazily stretched his hands behind his head, really not looking forward to the conversation he was about to have with the girl from gen course until Jirou slammed her hands on her desk as she walked out of the classroom with Yaoyorozu. "Huh? Guess she must really be stressed about tomorrow."

With a deadpanned expression Bakugo quickly shook his head and instead grabbed Uraraka by the hand leading her to his desk, to give them some privacy.

"Man, I'm really still not used to this." Sero chuckled.

"Then close your fuckin eyes tape face!" Bakugo barked back before lowering his voice for only her to hear. "Hey after picking up the food I've got to head off to Endeavors with Deku and Icy Hot. Do you need me to pick you up anything?"

Shaking her head, she gave him a timid smile, still shy about earlier. "N-no that's fine thanks, I'm actually going to be at Hawks after helping with the stand. Not sure when I'll be done."

Quickly looking over his shoulder to make sure their friends weren't listening he returned his gaze to hers. "By the way I talked to Pikachu the other day."

"Really?" she blinked in surprise.

Shrugging his shoulders, he gave a slight nod. "Yeah, I asked him about that extra he's supposedly dating. Said they've been on a few dates but that's all." When he saw her shoulders drop, he pressed his lips together with a deep sigh. "Don't worry Ochaco, I don't think it's anything serious from what that idiot said. But I still think ears and him should work it out between the two of them."

"I know." She exhaled loudly until she felt him place a strand of hair behind her ear allowing her to shiver at the slightest touch and ignoring the smug smile appearing on his lips.

Any previous anxiety about earlier leaving his mind the moment she locked eyes with him a second before she averted them with pink dusting her cheeks. "It's ok Ochaco, it's just us remember." With a tight-lipped smile he couldn't help but ask the question that's been bugging him but also would understand it if she did regret it. "Do you wish we didn't-"

"No." she quickly said with a hint of a smile. "Do you?"

Tilting his head with a lazy smirk he let out a small chuckle. "Do you even have to ask."

Giggling, she nervously bit her lip still sensing his eyes on her. "M-maybe we should do it again sometime…?"

Now it was his turn to feel the heat rise to his face as he turned his head to make sure the others weren't watching. The last thing they needed was a damn audience.

Leaning in with his hand against the desk he gently rubbed his cheek against hers and feather light grazed his lip against it next. "Maybe…if you're a good girl, I'll make you squirm next time." He huskily whispered against her ear which in turn made her give a small yelp as he peered down at her.

"Come on Bakubro we have to go." Sero said from the doorway.

Stuffing his hands in his pockets, Bakugo let his eyes drag down her body then back up in appreciation which reminded her of a wolf eyeing his next meal.

Proudly smirking at her shocked expression, he swiftly placed a kiss on her cheek then turned to walk out with the guys.

"Girl what was that about?!" Mina ran over to her with one of the biggest grins she'd ever seen. "Ooh did you guys to the deed?!"

"W-what?!-NO!"

"Fine 'make love'?" she enunciated while rolling her eyes.

"No!"

"Shag?"

"Mina-"

"Boink?"

"What?"

"Adult naptime?"

"No-."

"The act of darkness?"

"Huh?"

"Hanky Panky?"

"We did not!"

"Bummer…" The pink girl gave a slight pout. "Well then what did you do? Was there at least a little panky? Bakugo had the goofiest smile throughout class and you two were the last ones to arrive in class." Mina gave a loud laugh which just made Uraraka even more flustered.

"What? Ok now you're just sounding crazy." Uraraka was quick to hand her the broom.

"Call me detective Mina!" she cheered grabbing the broom and getting to work.

It was a good five minutes of silence while Uraraka worked up the courage to say something, and it didn't help that Mina kept glancing her way every second in anticipation. "Fine, maybe there was a little…"

"You bamboozled?!"

Lifting a curious brow Uraraka couldn't help but laugh along with Mina. "What does that even mean?"

"I'm just saying!" Mina grinned. "Something happened Chako and you can't tell me otherwise."

"Yeah…" Uraraka smiled to herself before finally telling Mina everything that happened.

"Wow, Ochaco you naughty girl!" Mina grinned with wide eyes, playfully shoving her shoulder. "So how was it?"

"It was…" thinking it over again she gave a shy smile. "Great."

"Really? That good huh?" Mina hummed in acknowledgement when she saw her nod.

"Yeah, Katsuki is just so…" Stopping her movements from wiping the board, she softly exhaled contemplated her next words on how to describe him. Every second she was with him or even talking about him just made her chest expand ten-fold with such warmth that it always became harder to put into words alone.

Her expression didn't go unnoticed, and Mina walked up behind her with a warm hug. "Girl, I hate to say it… but watch yourself ok."

"What why?" she said blinking at her questionably and being pulled back to the present. It was very rare when Mina's voice would become this soft spoken and serious at the same time which made Uraraka even more curious.

Giggling Mina continued to sweep. "Because babe, before you know it…you'll be like me."

"What do you mean by that? Isn't that a good thing?"

"Depends on how you look at it I guess." Mina gave a slight frown. "Sometimes it's hard to find the right partner…you know a really good person that doesn't come around that often. But when he does…" she giggled to herself. "You never want to let go..."

"Oh."

Placing her hand on her friends' shoulder, Mina gave her a caring look that made Uraraka turn back to her. "Bakugo is a good guy Ochaco. I've told you that before. Someone like him and Kirishima and the rest of the great guys in our class -other than Mineta of course- only come around once. So, all I'm saying is …be careful. Because someone like Bakugo doesn't take things like this lightly…he doesn't play around."

Staring at Mina's gentle smile Uraraka continued to open and close her mouth unsure of what Mina was trying to get at, and frankly didn't like the uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. "Mina are you ok? Bakugo and I are just taking it one step at a time. Sure, we like each other and care about each other a lot…" she trailed off remembering the conversation they had in the car which just made her all the more worried and scared about after graduation. "I'm just trying to make it through graduation."

Nodding the pink girl gave her a reassuring smile aware that her best friend still had a lot to sort out on her own, she just hoped no one would get hurt in the end. "I know babe. We all are."

Returning to cleaning Uraraka started to absently hum to herself until they were finished.

"You know I keep hearing you doing that lately. Do I know that song?"

"I don't think so. My mom and dad used to sing it to me whenever I'd have trouble falling asleep."

"Sounds nice." Mina giggled whipping around to face her with a mischievous grin only Uraraka knew as trouble. "So, tell me babe, size wise. How was he?

"What?! Mina!"

X

"Alright people! We've got exactly 15 minutes left before we start!" Mina clapped her hands loudly making everyone's movement even more frantic then before.

"Stop rushing me!" Kaminari screeched while running up the stairs and doing a poor job not to trip.

"As much as I appreciate your great talent at getting everything together, I must say-"

"Iida! Is the special effect team ready like I asked?" Mina sternly pointed her finger which just made the poor class rep nervously fidget.

"I-I'll check this instant!" He said waving his arms and running off.

"Woah Ashido can be quite scary when under pressure." Ojiro awkwardly grinned.

"Tail's right Pinky. How the fuck are any of us supposed to stay calm when you're running your damn mouth?" Bakugo was sitting on a chair behind Uraraka's and chuckling every now and then whenever she would scrunch up her face in concentration while he was trying to teach her to play the drums. She was giggling and seemed to have the time of her life.

"Ding!" she grinned triumphantly, proudly lifting the drumsticks. "How was that?"

"Honestly?" he squinted his eyes, trying to surpass a smile. "That sounded like shit."

"Hey!" she laughed repeatedly poking him with the sticks until he took them away.

"Don't worry, I'll teach you more later." He smirked when she playfully stuck her tongue out.

"Oh, you guys make me sick!" Mina groaned marching up to them and throwing the band shirt directly in his face before grabbing Uraraka by the hand and leading her away. "We have work to do."

"Oi what the fuck Raccoon eyes?!"

"Write me a letter!" She shouted over her shoulder. "Now put your shirt on blasty and move your crap to the stage!"

"Fine!" he scowled pulling it over his long-sleeved black shirt.

"Not like that!" Mina screeched. "Why do you insist on defying me?!"

"I am not changing here!" he barked back.

"Picky picky picky…" she huffed giving the girls a playful wink, until they heard shouting coming from the stage. "Ugh what now?"

Curiously peeking over at the stage, they saw Jirou and Kaminari arguing with neither looking all that happy.

"You did! So, I'm telling you it's nothing!"

"I don't care! Why would I?!" Jirou yelled, turning on her heel and walking off. "Just do whatever the hell you want Kaminari!"

"Jirou!" Quickening his pace to go after her Kaminari suddenly felt Bakugos hand on his shoulder.

"Pikachu, come help with this." He gestured towards the drums.

Roughly shrugging his hand off Kaminari glared back at his friend, until he saw Bakugo silently trying to tell him to calm down. "Sorry dude."

"People this is not a show!" Mina waved her arms trying to get everyone's attention back on track.

"But Mina, you were watching too." Tsu pointed out grinning before they all made their way on stage.

"Ochaco babe…why do I feel like I'm about to have a heart attack?" Mina let Uraraka lift her by the arm.

"It'll be fine Mina you'll see." She knew how much events like these always excited Mina and how she always put her all into it. Especially now since this was the last time they would ever be doing this.

Smiling Mina felt the tears well up in her eyes. "Thank you Ochaco."

"You go on and make sure we're ready. I'll go check on Jirou."

Exhaling loudly Uraraka went to do just that, finding her right away sitting by the stairs.

"Jirou?"

"Ochaco?" Frantically wiping her eye Jirou quickly looked over her shoulder. "I'm fine. Kaminari just…made me really mad is all."

"Oh. Well, I'm sure he didn-"

"He told me, that he ended things with that girl." She scoffed. "Like that's supposed to make everything alright. Like I'm supposed to just be happy about that? He's had all this time Ochaco and has yet to try and do something! Yet he goes out with any dumb bimbo he meets."

Nodding Uraraka quietly sat beside her patiently waiting for her to continue.

"I can't even believe I let myself get so close to him, just being away from him now seems hard. But I can't deal with this anymore. I can't."

Taking a deep breath Uraraka gave her a gentle smile. "Have you ever told him how you feel? Maybe… he just thinks you still don't feel the same way." she quietly said. "Why haven't you told him?"

Feeling a tear drop Jirou meet her eyes. "Because I'm scared Ochaco. I am so so scared. I'm scared of losing what friendship we have; I'm scared of getting hurt. I mean how do you just put yourself out there like that. I can't do that. I just…can't. How do you know that won't happen?"

"I supposed you don't." Uraraka admitted. "You can never really know these things. You just have to trust the person you're with that it won't."

"And that doesn't scare you?"

"It does at times." Leaning sideways Uraraka wrapped her arms around her friend trying to be there for her but also now wrapped in her own thoughts as well. They stayed that way for a while until it was finally time for their performance.

"Alright UA are you ready?!" Jirou shouted as the students shouted wildly. "Now since this will be our one performance for today for our last school festival, make sure to stay tuned for out next one in a couple of weeks!"

"Mic don't start." Mr. Aizawa groaned leaning against the far wall with the other teacher who started to choke up at the mention of that.

"Alright let's do this!" Bakugo shouted letting off a few explosions before he started hiding the drums along with the rest of the band and the dance group started jumping onto the stage.

Taking a deep breath and gripping the microphone Jirou closed her eyes as she started to sing.

(Paramore "That's what you get")

"No sir, well I don't wanna be the blame, not anymore.

It's your turn, to take a seat we're settling the final score

And why do we like to hurt, so much?

I can't decide.

You have made it harder just to go on.

And why?All the possibilities

Well, I was wrong."

Smiling Jirou continued to sing and tap her chest. "That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

I drowned out all my sense with the sound of its beating

And that's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa!"

When it was Jirou's turn to sing again, she took a quick peek at Kaminari who already seemed to be watching her with concern in his golden eyes. Turning her attention away, Jirou felt the tears brimming the corners of her eyes.

"I wonder, how am I supposed to feel when you're not here.

'Cause I burned every bridge I ever built when you were here

I still try, holding onto silly things, I never learn

Oh why? All the possibilities

I'm sure you've heard.

That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

I drowned out all my sense with the sound of its beating

And that's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa."

'Jirou…' Uraraka couldn't help but noticed the tears sliding down Jirou's cheek while she continued to dance and saw the worried look on Kaminari.

"Pain, make your way to me (to me)

And I'll always be just so inviting.

If I ever start to think straight

This heart will start a riot in me

Let's start, start, hey!

Why do we like to hurt so much?

Oh why do we like to hurt so much? "

Clapping her hands along with the crowd Jirou continued to ignore the tears that wouldn't stop.

"That's what you get when you let your heart !

That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

Now I can't trust myself with anything but this

And that's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa!"

As soon as the song finished Jirou released the microphone and ran out of the stage, while everyone continued to applaud them thinking either it was part of the performance or that everyone was just so emotional since it was their last year. Trying to distract the crowd, Yaoyorozu and some of the others started to thank everyone while Kaminari handed his guitar to Bakugo who was already waiting, before running off as well.

"Jirou! Jirou wait!" Kaminari shouted, catching up to her and grabbing her by the elbow. "Please just talk to me!" "Leave me alone Kaminari." She sniffed wiping her eyes.

"No, not until we talk." He firmly said which caught her off guard. "Tell me why you've been so cold with me? What did I do?"

"Nothing Kaminari! And that's the problem!" she yelled lifting her earphones threateningly.

"Woah, ok let's stay calm…." He whimpered lifting his arms up. "Look I know you're mad, but that's all I know. And I'm sorry but I want to fix this. I want things to be like before."

"Well, I don't!" she blurts out even surprising herself.

"Jirou…what going on? I know I'm not the brightest, but I can tell when there's something you're not telling me."

"All this time! All this time Kaminari…and not once have you ever looked at me like anything other than a friend. Why is that?"

"Um did you want me too?" he awkwardly rubbed his head.

"Kaminari!"

"Hey, look I'm sorry, but I thought it was already pretty obvious that I do when I asked you out last year wasn't it?!" he snapped, dropping his hands, and staring at her shoes. "Jirou…have you ever thought of why I always wanted to hang out with you? Why did I always find it so easy to ask other girls out but when it came to you, I was always such a blubbering mess- because they weren't as important to me. Heck when Midnight…" Choking on his words at the mention of their late teacher and the battle that followed, he felt tears blur his vision. "I was freaking out back then ok, I'm ashamed to admit it but I was, and you know what she told me? To think about the one person that mattered the most to me…the one person I cared about most in the world. And that was you!"

"Kaminari, why are you saying this…?"

"Because you're right. I should've said something. But I didn't think you even bothered looking my way."

"Of course, I was. I was this whole time! But I hate to say that it scares me ok, and I know that's normal even, Ochaco said that it happens to her too and that we don't know if things will ever work out-"

"So why not try?"

Clutching her hand to her chest, Uraraka gave a small smile when she saw Jirou still crying in Kaminaris arms as they kissed.

Not knowing if they were ok, she thought it was best to give them their privacy. This must really be hard for them, and she could definitely relate how terrifying it can be at times.

With the intent of going back and help clean up, she froze in her steps when she saw Bakugo already waiting for her on top of the stairs with his hands deep in his pockets. She didn't know how but when his eyes flickered from Jirou and Kaminari to her, she could see him staring at her with an unreadable expression but could tell he knew what was going through her head.

"Hey."

"Everyone's almost done in there and getting ready for the festival." he calmly said, keeping his eyes on her.

"Ok." With a small smile she quickly walked past him but stopped when she realized he was still standing there. "You coming?"

"Yeah." Nodding he cleared his throat as they made their way over to Deku and Iida.

While they worked at the food booth quickly getting everyone's orders out and taking turns, she gave a slight smile whenever she heard Bakugo shouting at someone in the makeshift kitchen or telling them to get out.

"Geez Uraraka, you'd think dating someone as sweet as you would rub off on Bakugo." Sero frowned, taking another bite out of one of the plates.

"Damn it Tape face that's not for you! And I heard that by the way!" Bakugo shouted over his shoulder grumpily finishing another plate ready to go.

"You know if the hero thing doesn't work out, you could always become a cook." Hagakure said greeting another student.

"And what the hell are you trying to say with that?!"

Patting him on the back Uraraka saw him whip his head over his shoulder about ready to bite someone's ear off until he saw her and quickly snapped it shut. "They're just teasing. But all this food looks really good…"

"Tch." Bouncing his eyes from the food on the stove to her he gave a small smirk shaking his head. "No. Before you even ask, you're not getting any food right now either."

"What why?!" she gaped. "But Katsuki!"

"Don't care. I'm trying to hurry this shit up. At least big lips over there's helping." He points his spoon at Sato.

"But I'm helping."

"No, you're just giving me more work by being friendly. How about telling these extras to beat it already."

"Bakubro that's not really how this works." Kirishima said walking by the with various plates.

"Tch."

Sensing his frustration Uraraka looked at her watch with a smile. "Hey look we only have 20 more minutes until we're done. Then we can relax and have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the festival, how's that?"

With his gaze fixed on the food she saw him silently nod but could tell something was off.

"Deku said Melissa was going to be here too since she didn't make it before."

"UGH Goddamn it round-face please tell me you didn't agree to hang out with them?" he scowled.

"Maybe…?" She gave him a weak smile right before she ran out of there.

"Oi Ochaco!"

"What's this I hear about a double date, and we're not invited?" Kirishima said from behind clearly offended as Bakugos shoulders tensed up.

"Oh hell…"

X

"Oh wow! This looks so amazing! I don't know where I want to go first!" Melissa beamed clutching Dekus hand excitingly and dragging him off to one of the games.

"How about home?" Bakugo grumbled stuffing his hands in his pockets and reluctantly following everyone.

"Be nice." Uraraka nudged him making him scowl at her too, but nonetheless intertwined his fingers with her.

"This is your fault." He groaned after a couple of hours of walking.

"Oh, just admit you had fun." Uraraka skipped next to him and is currently sporting a pair of ears on top of her head shaped like principal Nezu's and sunglasses like Present Mics. He couldn't help but smirk whenever he peered down at her thinking how cute she looked.

"I still don't see why you didn't pick any of the other stuff animals there." He said remembering the game booth him. Kirishima, Deku, Sero and Kaminari were so invested in it and was surprised when she didn't pick any.

"It's fine because I already have a special one sitting on my bed." She fondly smile, making him blush.

Snorting Mina nodded, fixing her glasses and the same ears all the girls seemed to love. "Yeah Mr. Snuggles who tried to cuddle us to death."

"Mr. Snuggles?" Mellissa asked curiously starting at all of them.

"Long story." Both girls said.

Once it was time for everyone to call it a day, Urarakas feet were already throbbing, and she had yet to finish cleaning the classroom after they all changed there again. Luckily for her Bakugo was already in the process of mopping by the time she put the broom away.

"Come on, the sooner we finish here the sooner we can leave." Bakugo rolled his eyes. "And don't give me that look."

Yawning Uraraka shook her head trying to clear the sleepiness away, but nevertheless continued until they finally finished and headed back to the dorms with a few students still passing by them enjoying the cold evening breeze and what was left of the festival.

"You know, you still haven't told me what you wanted for Christmas." She grinned once he wrapped an arm around her shoulder to pull her closer and keep her warm.

"That's because Christmas is still a few weeks away."

"So, it never hurts to be prepared as the great Katsuki Bakugo always says." She teased, getting a little chuckle out of him.

"What, so now you finally listen to me?" He hummed out loud lifting his eyes to the dorms. "But you don't have to get me anything."

"But I want to." She insisted, stopping them. "Name it. Tell me something you want."

"Anything I want huh…" slowly lifting his hand he gently stroked her cheek until he lifted her chin, staring at her like she was the most precious thing around and that with any wrong move she could break. Tenderly pressing his lips against hers, she felt her eyes closing when he placed another kiss on her forehead, closing his own eyes. "Surprise me."

"Ok." she softly said keeping her eyes closed as he wrapped his arm around her again leading them back to the dorms. "But wait, you haven't asked me." She suddenly realized once they stepped out of the elevator.

"That's because I already know." He gave her a cheeky grin, stopping in front of her door.

Rolling her eyes, she quickly unlocked it. "Yeah, just like you knew you were going to have fun today."

"Whatever." he said rubbing his eyes and letting out a yawn.

"Katsuki, you can come in." she shyly said feeling herself blush even after they've been together for a while now. She wondered if that would ever really go away. "Just…" pressing her lips together she suddenly looked at her fingers remembering the day's events and her conversation with Mina the other day. "…could you just lay down with me and hold me?"

Closing the door quietly behind himself he silently followed her to her bed and carefully wrapped his arms around her waist once they laid down facing each other. He didn't know how much time passed by just watching her slowly open and close her eyes as if she was making sure he was still there.

"You ok?" he quietly asked, gently rubbing circles on her back.

"Yeah." She whispered, lazily opening her brown eyes again. "This feels nice."

With a half smile he hugged her closer. "Yeah, the old hag used to do that to me to help calm me down."

"Oh, so she still does that?" She playfully grinned once she heard him give a genuine laugh in return.

"No dumbass it was when I was younger." He grinned, before resuming to rub soothing circles on her back. "When I'd have bad dreams, couldn't sleep or would freak out about my quirk."

Nodding she recalled their previous conversation about quirks.

"But the last time I remember her doing that…" he said with hesitation in his voice. "Was right after the war. After what happened, there were nights when I'd wake up screaming and scared that I was still there fighting. And this would help…"

"Really?"

"I guess, that was why Toga and her group decided to show me that over and over again during the attack last year here."

"Does it still happen?" she quietly asked. "Waking up…screaming…?"

Slowly shaking his head, he stared at her for a good minute before responding. "Not as often anymore."

As if feeling the warmth radiating from his eyes and pulling her in from the cold, she placed her index finger to the side of his cheek and with the gentlest of touch captured his soft lips.

This kiss felt different. There was no rush, no hunger, no desperation. This was so gentle she could feel her chest run wild with emotions that became overwhelming. He was so caring and affectionate as he slowly continued to kiss her back. What was this…?

When she pulled away after a minute, she saw him still staring at her, searching her face as he pulled her closer until their noses were touching. She felt him continue his soothing movements on her back and her eyes become heavy.

Once he was sure she had fallen asleep with a relaxed smile on her face, he quietly placed a soft kiss on her cheek and wrapped her blanket securely around her before opening the door to leave. "Goodnight beautiful."
