So this is the full final fight for the story Unyielding King, major differences here, length (obviously) and the fact that I made small changes to some of the writing towards the middle/end of this one. I'll be honest, this one didn't sit well with me as it did woth some others, but, I did enjoy reading and imagining some of this fight pan out.

Uh, pairing is a bit different, you'll see near the end but nothing major. I am doing a reading version for this where RWBY is doing the Reading, and I will be posting that in a new Reading booklet that will be titled Reading the Naruto-verse which will hold various stories/one shots from not only myself but from various other writers where the character's will be reading the Naruto stories. None of them will be connected, and if they are, I'll try and make a joke about it somewhere along the way, if I am reminded.

Some character's and their dialogues have changed, some mannerisms have been altered slightly, but for the most part it's similar to what you all know.

Anyways, here is the final battle for Unyielding King.

Things were going from bad to worse. Humanity was on the brink of extinction. Three of the Four kingdoms had fallen to the Godlike Grimm known as Tiamat. Salem had birthed this destructive monster to wipe out humanity at the cost of her entire existence, and so far she was succeeding with each battle. A young man had taken up the mantle of Kingship when everyone began to panic and cause chaos and anarchy in the remaining cities of the kingdom of Vale. Beacon was his throne, and its people his subjects. They had spent the last six months secretly building underground bunkers and buildings to ensure that some of humanity would survive this calamity.

But, when all hope seemed lost, two of his friends from his team revealed a secret they had been keeping to themselves to ensure nothing happened to them. They were Goddesses, literal Divine beings, who had been sent to earth to watch over mankind without much interference. With Salem unleashing Tiamat, they had no choice but to reveal themselves. And as it turned out, they weren't the only divine sent down from the heavens to help. There were as many as five divine beings on Remnant, but one had died early on in Tiamat's rampage across the globe, if the reports were to be truly believed.

As of the current moment, The young ruler sat on his throne and was waiting for the group of goddesses and his team to return. He wouldn't admit it, but things were getting bad. He crossed his arms as a group of guards came up to him, "Status report." he commanded, the weight of ruling allowing him to understand to be serious and when not to be. He sat on a throne, a leg crossed over his knee. He wore an open blue vest with red trimmings around the collar and edges along the chest. He wore a pair of red pants with a large solid gold belt around his waist. He had a gold glove on his right hand while the other was bare, a gold necklace around his neck and a pair of gold shoulders were large cross-shaped tattoos inked in purple/blue ink. Red eyes stared down in a serious gaze.

"The black mud swallowed Patch, and it's currently flowing towards Vale and Beacon!" the man said in a scared tone.

"It's spreading like a black wildfire!" another man said in panic.

"The walls of Vale will be unable to stand against the black mud!" a third commented, "It should arrive at-" he is stopped when the young king raises a hand.

"Enough!" he commands them to calm themselves, standing up and calling out, "Raise the anchors!" he declares, cheers of pride calling out from the soldiers that remain under his command, "Deploy the Fangs of Napishtim!" he orders with a smirk on his face.

Miles away, the black mud approaches with incredible speed, nearing the vulnerable walls of Beacon. However, before it can so much as scratch the stone, the earth shakes and suddenly massive piles of metal, Dust, and Stone rise out of the earth, and form a fifty foot thick barrier in front of the mud. The resulting clash shakes the land, but the Fangs do not yield to its adversary under any circumstance, standing strong against the destructive element as they were created to do. As the countermeasure was deployed successfully, the group that had left earlier flew overhead and back to Beacon.

They were almost there.

With the deployment of the Fangs of Napishtim, the King decided to try and give himself a bit of a pep talk and started walking outside, "Somehow we are managing to hold on." he stated, "Now, the time has finally come, six months I have bitterly awaited this moment." he told himself as he stopped at the edge of a staircase, arms crossing over his chest, "Tiamat, Mother of all Beasts! What happens after this battle of mythical proportions is something even I cannot foresee!" he declared boldly, "Will you swallow the world?" he questioned as he uncrossed his arms and raised his right arm, "Or will humanity prevail and prove it's worthy of flourishing?" he demanded as he held up his other arm, "It's time to answer that query! The stage is set, and the final battle of the Age of God begins now!" he called out with passion. As he said this, massive pterodactyls soared down to the ledge and landed, the search party having safely returned.

"King Naruto!" a young woman with dark brown hair with red highlights called out to the now named king and stopped running up to him when she remembered, this was no longer a friend but a ruling king.

Naruto nodded his head, "I'm glad you've returned." he said honestly, "Come, we must prepare for war." he said as he turned around and walked inside the former academy, the group following close behind.

"What's the status of the men?" a young blond woman with violet eyes asked, desperate to know how bad it was.

"What was once an army of thousands has dwindled down drastically. All that remains are 500 men." He answered honestly, "Our parents that live are in the bunkers, the young and extremely elderly with them, and a few civilians we managed to protect before the mud arrived are with them as well. There is also the vast amount of farm animals and crop seeds that should last a hundred years if used right and maintained properly. Not only that, Cinder and my Mother have established a communications network with us so we can talk and plan for the battle." he said.

The group felt their eyes widen in shock, "500...no way..." a young Faunus said in shock.

"Could it be a mistake?" a silver haired teen asked in hope, "That number of survivors... there's only 500 in total?" she asked, trying to deny such a fact.

Naruto sighed as he sat on his throne, "Yes." he answered honestly, "As of right now, humanity is on the brink of collapse. Only fifteen thousand human non-combatant's remained, and of the Faunus we managed to save, eighteen thousand survived the battle against the Lahmu attack around noon before the bunkers closed and sealed themselves with the remaining members inside. The remaining teams JNPR, SSSN, CFVY, RNGR, CRDL, ABRN, NDGO, BRNZ, NOVA, FNDU, ROSC, BYRN, SSEA, FNKI, SMMK, SAFR, BRIR, ORNJ, the Ace-Ops, and Happy Huntresses are all that remain of the four academies total, they will be the teachers of the next generation of Huntsmen and Huntresses if we fall." he said shaking his head skeptically, "As of right now, the last dynasty of humanity is destroyed." he told them, the group gasping in shock, "Even if the kingdom were to survive this predicament, it cannot be maintained. It would only go into decline." he explained.

"No... Beacon... we couldn't protect it after all." Ruby muttered in despair, "We let everyone down." she whimpered.

Naruto wasn't done yet, "Despair not." he told them, "Even if we all perish now, as long as Remnant culture survives, others will follow in our footsteps." he told them.

"Remnant culture?" Blake asked in confusion.

"Basically, if a symbol of the current culture, this idiot, and Beacon survive the battle, the current civilization will live on." one of the goddesses explained. It was Ishtar, a member of Team NIEA who had hidden herself off as a mortal.

Of the divine, you must understand this. Ishtar was a goddess of war. Her sister Ereshkigal was a Goddess of the Underworld and thus-death. Quetzalcoatl was a divine entity of the sun and fighting, her little minion was named Jaguar Warrior and he was somehow damned good at fighting with a bat. Gorgon was defeated in the early stages of the battles and as such never seen by human eyes.

"In other words, if you still want to protect the remaining survivors sealed in the cryo-tubes, we must stop Tiamat, and protect Beacon," he stated seriously. The bunkers were beyond the academy grounds and hidden in the mountains. They were literally the last line of defense against the approaching enemy, and if they fell, so too did those bunkers. And if that happened... mankind was lost forever.

"Yang?" Ruby asked her sister.

The blond nodded, "Alright, let's do it!" she nodded in agreement.

"Yes!" Blake said smiling, now prepared to face her demise if it meant saving the world.

"We're going to stop Tiamat!" Weiss jumped in, ready for a fight.

Naruto smirked, "Hmph!" he snorted, a smile gracing his features, "Hear that, Mother? Our spirit has yet to be broken!" he stated. In the communications room of one of the bunkers, a blond woman looked up from clasped hands, "Surely you have not given up as well, have you?" his voice came through to the small group.

The woman was Glynda Goodwitch, Naruto's mother, and beside her was a very pregnant woman with wavy black hair and golden-amber eyes, it was Cinder Fall the Fall Maiden. Glynda gasped, and sat up in her chair as she responded, "Wouldn't dream of it!" she responded to her one and only child happily, her hopes restored.

"Show this Tiamat how persistent you can be!" Cinder said, crossing her arms, "It's time that bitch knew what we were capable of." she said before calling out, "And let's show her that we Hunters and Huntresses are not new to the ways of battle!" she called out as the staff called out in agreement.

Typing quickly across the console, Glynda downloaded everything she had, "I'm sending you Tiamat's data!" she called out as the data was sent out, "Let's do this!" she said.

With the data now received, Naruto called upon a massive cross shaped computer that was displaying the same screen to everyone around it, "So, what's the verdict?" Naruto asked, "What makes this creature so unique?" he questioned as he looked over the data he was given.

"It's worse than you realize." Cinder's voice spoke to them, "This Grimm is a mobile factory." she said somberly, "It has enough energy to travel between stars. It has ample life origins inside. If what I'm reading is correct, then humanity needs six centuries to equate to this seemingly divine arc." she concluded her analysis.

"This is Tiamat's true form." Glynda sighed out.

"Dammit, are you on Tiamat's side?" Naruto yelled out as he walked up to the holographic images, "Nothing you've told us has to do with any of her weaknesses!" he yelled as he stopped short of the screens to stare at the images of his mother and lover.

Glynda stood up from her seat, "Well of course I wish I had a viable plan of attack!" she raged back, "But we live in the real world! She's perfect, get it!? Salem crafted the Ultimate Grimm to wipe out humanity, and she is succeeding! She has no shortage of strengths and has virtually zero weaknesses via magic from the Maiden's nor weakness towards Aura and Semblance capabilities, meaning we are no match for her!" Glynda called out in worry.

"I know this may sound absurd, but stay with me." Cinder said, typing on the keyboard and changing the screens, "It seems she was not born with the concept of death, thus, unlike other Grimm before Salem used them to birth Tiamat, makes her immortal as she is the new mother of life." She said, the images rotating across the screen, new information panning out underneath the image, "The fact that all of us are alive right now, is proof of the existence of a Creator stronger than Tiamat, but she was crafted to be the new creator once the original mankind is wiped out. This means that as life continues to exist, it is impossible for Tiamat to die." she concluded.

"So... that means we can't beat her?" Weiss asked in worry.

"Wait a second now." Ishtar tried to speak, but was unable to.

"In order to defeat Tiamat, then all of the human race and life on earth would have to die out!" Weiss exclaimed in panic.

Glynda sighed, "Essentially... yes." she nodded.

"So... I guess that's it then..." Yang whispered, Naruto switched off the computer and shook his head.

"Jaguar Warrior, idea's?" Naruto asked the divine warrior, "What's your take on Tiamat?" he asked.

Jaguar Warrior sighed and placed a hand to his chin, "Hmm, she's got claws, there's no doubt she is queen of the Jungle." he said, only for Naruto to interrupt him.

"Ok, stop it, anyone could make those observations. Give me something useful with your so-called animal instincts!" he demanded.

Jaguar Warrior cooed out happily, "OH~ that's what you wanted." she said as she crossed her arms happily, "To get from where she is to the coast, and then to Beacon at her speed, will take two days." she told Naruto, "There ya go."

"Two days..." Yang whispered, this was hopeless...

Naruto grunted, "That's faster than what I'd like." he admitted, "All we can do is prepare for her arrival. However, the Fangs of Napishtim sustained a lot of damage from the earlier attack. I have repairs underway but it won't be enough to keep Tiamat at bay." Naruto stated.

"What else can we do?" Ruby asked.

"Oh Naruto~" a new and familiar voice called out of nowhere. This caused the group to perk up and blink in surprise at the voice, "What's happening up there on the surface?" the feminine voice asked.

"That voice!" Blake said in surprise.

Naruto snapped his fingers and a golden portal associated with his Semblance appeared, and suddenly a large stone rose up before a large mirror followed shortly after, "I don't know what's going on, dozens of hundreds of souls arriving all at the same time!" the woman spoke. Naruto snapped his fingers again and suddenly an image appeared of a blond woman facing away, showing itself, "The underworld is in a total panic because of this!" the blond spoke.

"Is that..." Yang asked slowly, only for Ruby to smile happily and call out, "Ereshkigal!" causing the woman to stop talking and seize up before she turned around.

"Huh, Ruby?" she asked in surprise of seeing her friend, then noticed everyone else beside her. She paused, cleared her throat and slowly walked out of sight for a moment, and sang some vocal's before she stepped back into view with confidence now that the embarrassing part was over, "Ereshkigal, Goddess of the Underworld, is here in all her splendor!" she called out with a smile, "You used the mirror to make contact with me, was there something you needed, King of Vale?" she asked.

Naruto sighed, "I didn't contact you, if anything it was you who was calling out for help." he said honestly.

"It's good to see you doing well." Ruby said to her friend.

"Listen, we heard you say something about a bunch of souls just now." Blake said, crossing her arms.

"Yes, but that aside, what's the situation looking like?" Ereshkigal asked.

"Currently, Tiamat is on her way to Beacon. Remnants will fall if we don't beat her." Naruto explained.

"Yes, I realize that." Ereshkigal nodded.

"However, Tiamat will not die as long as life exists. That's the detail that has us stuck." he said, sighing.

"I wish I could help, but I don't have any idea either." the goddess said, shrugging uncertainty.

"Maybe try to give it a little thought before you say that." her twin spoke up.

"I know, but..." she grabbed the mirror and turned it to show a bunch of blue flickering lights in the distance, "As you can see, Kur is in chaos, it's overflowing with new souls." she said walking out in front of the mirror, "This is all wrong, it was never meant to be this crowded." she said.

"Was it like that before you left last time?" Weiss asked.

"It's the exact opposite of how it is here now!" Yang said in shock.

"That may be, but the Underworld is the place where the deceased come to rest. All of these lights do not belong to living beings." Ereshkigal said somewhat saddened.

Naruto perked up, "That's the Underworld...which is the land of the dead..." Ruby muttered to herself, and then an idea popped into her mind.

Naruto chuckled as he looked at the young woman, "You have the same ludicrous idea as I did." He said to her, causing the speedster to look at her king, "Go on, tell her." he ordered Ruby.

Ruby stepped forward, ignoring everyone's confused looks as she looked at Ereshkigal, "Ereshkigal!" she called, causing the goddess to turn around and face them through the mirror.

"Yes?"

"I have an idea!" Ruby said happily, excited to try something that had never been done before, "Well, more of a favor to ask." she amended.

"Sure." the goddess said unsure.

"Let's bring Tiamat to you!" Ruby announced.

The remaining members of Team RWBY felt their jaws drop... Ishtar and Ereshkigal were no different in this regard, "What?..." Ereshkigal asked silently.

"HUH~!" the twin goddesses cried out in surprise at the announcement, their eyes wide to the point of nearly popping out of their heads.

"If she can't be touched by death in a world full of life, then we send her to one where it is devoid of it." Naruto nodded his head. It was a sound plan.

"Tiamat would be the only living thing down there, so we can win!" Ruby called out excited.

"Me-wow!" Jaguar Warrior exclaimed in surprise.

"That... sounds like a really reckless plan." Glynda said over the communications, "However, it might just do the trick." she said in agreement.

"It just might." Cinder agreed.

"Send her here?!" Ereshkigal exclaimed in panic, "Did I hear you right?!" she demanded.

Ruby nodded and held up a clenched fist, "Yea, of course."

"Where I am?" the goddess stated, pointing to her feet.

Naruto chuckled as he stepped up to the mirror, "Ereshkigal, oh Goddess of Kur, as King of Vale, I command you, open the gate of the Underworld across all of Beacon and bind the beast of disaster that calls itself Tiamat down in the bowels of the earth!" he declared, "That will be the next plan of attack in order to preserve humanities way of life!" he stated.

Ereshkigal shook her head, "No way, it's impossible!" she announced sincerely, "You want me to bring the Underworld directly beneath Beacon?!" she demanded.

Naruto sighed solemnly, "So I guess..." he said with a depressed sigh, the blond goddess perking up in embarrassment. She had a crush on the blond king so most of the time she was a major Tsundere when it came to him, "It's too hard-" he went to say, but Ereshkigal interrupted him as she turned away with red cheeks.

"Alright!" she announced, "I guess I have no choice." she said. The group perked up happily at her words,"Besides, if I don't won't mankind be wiped out?" she asked, turning back around.

"Well yea, I mean, otherwise Ruby wouldn't have asked." Blake shrugged.

Ereshkigal nodded, "Right...But covering the entirety of Beacon with a hole of death is not that simple." she explained, "It is a monumental task to prepare for." she said.

"How long will it take?" Weiss asked her.

"Normally it would take me at least ten years." Ereshkigal answered.

The group gasped in shock while a couple groaned.

"Ten years, we don't have that long." Naruto said, crossing his arms.

"Normally?" Weiss asked just to be safe.

Ereshkigal turned around with a blush, "Well, a few years ago, Ozpin kinda upset me over something I'd rather not discuss, so... I mighta been plotting something this whole time." she said, nervously wringing her hands around, "So give me three days and I'll be ready." she gave a small grin.

Naruto crushed his lips together, trying not to break into laughter and to hold a somewhat serious look. Ruby however, was astonished, "Whoa, that's amazing Ereshkigal!" she called out with a wide smile.

The goddess preened, "You think so? Then it was worth doing dark magic every night."she said happily.

"This is not the time to brag." Ishtar reminded her sister.

Naruto broke, it was too much to handle. He laughed, "That's brilliant Ereshkigal!" he said as he snapped his fingers, the mirror sinking into a golden portal, "Once this is done, you and I will need to have a chat." he told her as the goddess gave a slight wave, blushing somewhat in embarrassment.

Gathering around once again, Quetzalcoatl crossed her arms, "This means that the only issue we have now is time." she remarked.

"Tiamat will arrive here in Beacon two days from now." Yang said, "But Ereshkigal needs three days to prepare the gate to the underworld." she commented.

"That means we need to hold Tiamat off for at least one solid day." Quetzalcoatl spoke up in agreement.

"But how?" Ishtar questioned, "We can't use any of the Relics, they've been destroyed. They're practically useless." she remarked.

Naruto grinned, "Why are you playing dumb?" he asked. Ishtar looked at the young king with a raised brow, "Our key to victory is right in front of us." he said happily.

Ishtar was skeptical now, "Ok then..." she asked sarcastically, "What would that be?" she demanded, only for-to her surprise-Naruto to point at her.

"Obviously it's you, Ishtar." Naruto commented with a pleased look.

It was quiet for a moment, then Ishtar pointed to herself in confusion, "Me?" she asked, how could she be the key to victory.

Naruto gave a pleased laugh, "Look at you, acting all humble when we all know about the ace up your sleeve. It's so cute." he said, now running a hand through the extremely embarrassed goddesses' hair.

"Hold on a minute, Naruto!" Ishtar whined.

Quetzalcoatl smiled in excitement, "Of course, Gugalanna!" she exclaimed. Ishtar felt her eyes pop open widely.

Oh dear.

Weiss gasped, "Of course, the greatest of all holy beasts of the Goddess of Heaven. I can't believe you still have Ishtar, Gugalanna the Bull of Heaven!" she remarked in excitement. That was a pretty damn good ace.

With their identities revealed as Goddesses in the invasion, the myths and legends about the gods were proven to be true, and the Legend of the Bull of Heaven was always inspiring. Ruby nodded in agreement, "We'll use it to stop Tiamat in her tracks!" she cried out happily.

"That's right, I even heard that Gugalanna made Vacou into a desert on one of its rampages." Quetzalcoatl said happily, "it will be a cinch!"

"You're the cat's me-ow Ishtar!" Jaguar Warrior said proudly.

Ishtar was incredibly embarrassed now. Naruto's laughter still filled the room, and his hand still rubbed her head. She couldn't take it, "Would all of you calm down for a minute!" she called out, "Gugalanna isn't all that great, ya'know!" she cried.

"Gugalanna! Gugalanna! Gugalanna! Gugalanna! Gugalanna! Gugalanna!" Jaguar Warrior chanted, pumping a fist into the air with each cry.

"Ishtar! Ishtar! Ishtar! Ishtar! Ishtar! Ishtar!" Quetzalcoatl copied as she clapped her hands with each declaration.

Naruto still laughed next to her, and the Goddess was nervously fidgeting in place as she wrung her hands together, "Come on you guys, it wouldn't be any help against Tiamat, seriously." she tried to say. However, the chanting and laughing continued, and everyone was in high hopes for the Great Beast stopping Tiamat long enough to drag her to the literal manifestation of Hell itself.

Seeing a despairing look on her, Naruto laughed a bit before asking, "Hey, what's the matter? You don't look all that well. I thought we'd have screeching headaches from your laughter by now." he said grinning at her, "Listening to you brag about how great he is despite him not being yours in the first place." he said grinning.

"I don't have it." she said blankly.

Naruto felt his excitement come to a screeching halt, then it fell from the heavens and crashed to the ground where it was immediately set ablaze and then dragged into the bowels of hell where it quickly died, "Huh..." he remarked silently, "Did you just-" he went to say, but Ishtar nodded, "Right... I don't have Gugalanna." she admitted. Quetzalcoatl stopped her chanting as her dreams of victory immediately died-Jaguar Warrior was too caught up in her partying as she still chanted the Bulls name-and Glynda and Cinder sighed in apparent defeat. Team RWBY felt their hearts sink. Gugalanna was legendary for its power, to be able to literally be so strong as to rip the lands apart and separate it into the way it was in the current era...

"I know! I don't have it!" Ishtar cried out, "I don't know where I lost it!" she exclaimed.

"You lost Gugalanna!?" Weiss cried out in shock.

"I searched all of Remnant for it, but I can't find any sign of Gugalanna, not one single hair!" she tried to tell them. Meanwhile, Quetzalcoatl knocked the still chanting Jaguar Warrior away with a backhand to shut her the hell up, and then...

All

Hell

Broke

Loose

.

..

...

Naruto felt all his excitement turn to ash and only the bitterness of rage remained, "Tch... YOU USELESS GODDESS!" he roared out at the bawling Ishtar, "WHY THE HELL DID WE BOTHER PUTTING OUR HOPE INTO YOU!?" he demanded as he pointed angrily at her.

Back with Cinder and Glynda, the expectant mother sighed, "I'll go... make some coffee." she offered.

"Extra strong please?" Glynda requested as she rubbed her temples.

Once everything was-somewhat-back to normal and everyone calmed down. Ishtar was put in a timeout. Her punishment, to hold a stone tablet that read "I AM THE WORST GODDESS!"while the other's planned a new route of attack to stall Tiamat. However, Naruto could see that everyone was tired and out of energy, "Alright, war council, it's time for a break." he announced as he walked away.

"King Naruto." Ruby called out to him.

"There isn't much time before dawn. This will be our last chance to relax in Beacon." he told the earnestly, "But don't think for a second we're giving up!" he called out to them, "Listen, we'll make through tonight so we can survive tomorrow." he told them, and walked out the room and down the hall.

~xxXXxx-XxX-xxXXxx: Meanwhile xxXXxx-XxX-xxXXxx~

A distance away, a young woman with golden blond hair overlooked the Academy grounds towards Beacon. She was silent in her observations but couldn't help but speak aloud to herself, "I'm certain this will be the final night." she remarked, "The last one for both human and Faunus... and me..." she whispered. It was Angelica... the final... and missing member of NIEA who was in fact a traitor... She had returned to her mother after helping cause the initial fall of Beacon and the permanent death of Ozpin himself. However, she hadn't killed her closest Teammate as she had been ordered to prove her loyalty to Salem.

And she had given her a curse that was literally causing her body to break down into a form of clay with each passing moment, her strength waning as the day came closer to an end.

~XxX-Beacon-XxX~

Naruto was sitting on his throne, Team RWBY at the base. A small discussion had taken place and the girls agreed to accept responsibility for the fall of humanity and would tell Naruto together, "Surely you're not under the impression that the fall of Beacon, much less Vale, is your fault?" he questioned, "And you say you are to blame for the release of Tiamat's true form?" he asked just as quick. When they didn't answer, Naruto only sighed and lowered his head towards his laps, "You knumbskull's. No one here is interested in your repentance." he told them without looking up at them, "Now then, Ruby," he said looking up and pressing his fingers together, "You told me that only 500 people survived, but that's not the case." he informed them.

The girls hummed in a somewhat surprised tone, "It wasn't only 500." He told them, "It was as many as 500." He corrected them, "What I'm saying is that this present is different from the one I foresaw with my Clairvoyance given to me by Ozpin's magic last year before he died, in which I was the only one left alive in the world. The truth is this, this is our new reality, and we have 500 survivors here, and thousands more underground stored in cryogenic tubes, hundreds more raising crops and livestock, helping us plan and strategize against Tiamat so we can bring those who are not here with us currently back out when it is all said and done." he told them honestly.

Naruto sat back and looked at them with kindness, "I consider that, a great achievement." he said proudly

"You knew this would happen?" Yang asked him in surprise.

Naruto nodded as he closed his eyes, "Yes." he told them, "And so did everyone else in the city when I informed them in the summer break." he told them, causing the girls to gasp in disbelief.

"So then, everyone continued to fight even though they all knew this was going to happen?" Ruby asked silently.

"Mm-hm." Naruto hummed out as he opened his eyes to the girls.

"Amazing... They're so amazing!" Ruby smiled in astonishment.

Naruto gained a more pleased look on his face as he spoke up, "I like that smile, Ruby Rose." he said to the young woman, "If there had been any pity in your eyes I would have dismissed you on the spot." he stated, "You four love the land of Vale and her people, so much so you chose to fight against a Immortal Grimm, and that is what changed the future." he told them, "Stop blaming yourselves, be proud, it suits each of you far better." he told them kindly, "Go, grab a meal and take some time to rest. We have much to do tomorrow." he told them, "I will see you in the morning when we begin the next stage of the battle." He dismissed them back to their dorm.

When the girls left, Naruto sighed and departed as well. His destination, the rooftop of Beacon Academy. However, unbeknownst to him, there was someone already there. Angelica sat at the edge of the roof with her knees to her chest and arms wrapped around her legs, "This is so stupid." she huffed to herself, "Why did I come here?" she questioned herself, watching the sky start to brighten as the dawn began to approach, and with it, her final moments.

Before she could depart and die in solitude, a new voice she knew quite well spoke up, "It's time to stand up, fool." The male voice told her...no...Naruto told her-commanded her, "You think I'll allow you to lay your corpse around here?" he demanded, "Leave now, if you do I'll ignore all your crimes past." he told her, as he walked up to stand before her. Angelica gasped in laborious breath, but Naruto wasn't done yet, "What's wrong, you can't even get up?" he sneered at her, "Aren't you supposed to be the greatest being that Salem ever created?" he questioned.

Angelica snarled, "You-You have no right!" she called out as she tried to stand, but much to her dismay, her foot had already been affected by her mother's curse and had fallen off completely, "Dammit! No, I can't let you... see me like this!" she cried, as she curled up and continued , before anything else could fall off or break, a golden glow filled the air and something hit the ground with a metallic sound and rolled over to Angelica and stopped as it came into contact with her. It was a golden cup filled to the brim with vital energy from the world.

Magic coursed through the glass and it vanished into Angelica's body and quickly restored her failing body, "Why did you do that? Huh?" she demanded, "I am your enemy!" she told him as tears filled her eyes, "I left you and broke your heart, I stole your father away permanently, I lied about being your ally, your friend! I'm not who you think I am!" she wailed into his chest.

However, Naruto took it all in stride, "True enough." he agreed with her, the sun now rising up over the horizon, "You did fail to mention your true allegiance to us, but you're still worthy of my protection." he told her, grabbing her wrists and causing her to look up at him and amended his words, "No... my care." he told her earnestly.

"Why do you-" she went to say, but Naruto's anger had reached its peak with Angelica, "Must I spell it out you hopeless fool?" he demanded, "Even if your heart and soul are saying otherwise, you are still Angelica, the love of my life and the embodiment of the one and only Chain of Heaven on Remnant, and that is priceless!" he roared out at her, causing Angelica to gasp at him before Naruto let her go from his grip as he sighed, "Well...someone once insisted that she was nothing more than a weapon." he reminded her, "If I had truly accepted what they said, then it is only natural that I continue to show you why I must care for you." he told her as he went to turn away,

"After all, even though you broke my heart that fateful day, my love for you has never dwindled away." he informed her, "You are the one person that I trusted the most. Why shouldn't I favor you?" he questioned as he walked away from her. However, he came to a sudden stop, "It's the end of the world, you should do whatever you want." he told her, the sun shining down on them as it climbed higher into the sky.

"Huh, wait!"Angelica called out to him, "I don't understand." she commented to him honestly.

Naruto paused, "No matter who your mother is, or how you were born, follow your own desire." He told Angelica, "Just like we used to, before everything happened to us came to be..." he told her. And with his piece said, Naruto left her there, tears in her eyes as she recalled everything she had been through with Naruto and the others of Beacon. The better times, the sweeter and more bitter times.

Angelica huffed, "What is it that you...never-mind...it's too late." she whispered to herself.

~XxX-War Council Re-convenience-XxX~

Naruto had summoned the large holographic projector and was currently displaying a image of Tiamat, which they were all studying intensively, "Those legs may be too thin to hold her body, meaning it's reasonable for Tiamat to be able to only be capable of walking on the black mud." he commented as he looked over the information they were given, "Mother, Cinder, and myself believe that this information to be accurate." he told Team RWBY and the gathered Goddesses.

"In other words," Cinder's voice spoke through the comm's channel, "The black mud is acting like a path for Tiamat to move around."

"Right." Naruto stated as he turned to gaze at another image, "That means if we're able to get rid of it, we'll be able to stop Tiamat in her tracks." he told everyone, "And to that end, Mother and Cinder are seeking some means to revert the mud back into water from which she rose up from when you destroyed the mobile mind composition machine or whatever you called it." he told them. However, before they could discuss anything further, a soldier came running in.

"Sir!" the man called out drawing Naruto's attention, "Word from the south, Tiamat has resumed her advance. By the estimates given, she'll be here within eight hours!" he exclaimed, shocking the group.

"She's half a day early!" Glynda gasped in shock, "We can't make a decomposition agent, even if we find it in time!"

Naruto turned to the man, "Pull 50 men from the walls. We've got to destroy those legs even by-" he went to order only for Quetzalcoatl to interrupt him and draw his attention, "That won't be necessary." the goddess told him, "I'll use my authority and Semblance." she said smiling, "It's strong enough to clear a perimeter of the black mud around Tiamat." she said happily.

Apparently, Jaguar Warrior knew what it was, seeing as he got excited by the mention of it, "Ooh, you gonna use that?" he asked happily.

"Use what?" Yang asked in confusion.

"Yes, I plan on using my Sun Stone from my altar from which you found me." the Goddess explained, "Now that we are all in this predicament, it's a good thing that you didn't shatter it." she smirked at him.

"Can we really trust you with this?" Naruto asked her.

"Of course." Quetzalcoatl said happily, "Although..." she grew hesitant now.

However, Ishtar knew what she was trying to explain, "It's a pretty large risk." She spoke up quietly, "To get close to Tiamat, we have to fight through the Lahmu, and we need to ensure Quetzalcoatl reaches Tiamat without wasting her energy, meaning we have to fight. Chances are, they'll number in the thousands if not dozens of thousands." she sighed as the sun goddess nodded.

"That's right." she said somberly, "It's dangerous." she told them.

"It's worth it." Weiss started drawing their attention and she nodded, "Right?" she questioned.

They all knew the Schnee heiress was correct, this was their only option, and they had no other way to prevent Tiamat from stopping without this one solid attack.

Naruto clapped his hands together, "Very well." he declared, "If that's decided, all we need to do now is act." he stated boldly, "Everyone prepare yourselves." he told them, "Let's show them all what we're capable of." she said with a small smile.

"Roger!" they all responded.

And with that, the plan was set. Order's were given to the soldiers for the final phase of the battle. It was do or die, and at this point, desperation was their friend. With nobody in the Throne room, Naruto turned about to face his seat of power, the illusion... no... the image of Cinder and their child; a lovely little girl with blond hair and golden eyes standing next to her burned itself into his mind. This was what he fought for, to protect the future for that little girl he knew he would never get to hold in his arms. He knew the outcome of his life the next day, and he was happy. He knew that by seeing such an image, the world would live on, and no longer would war terrorize the world of man, and that the God's would finally be able to go their separate ways once and for all.

With it permanently seared into his mind, Naruto steeled himself as he turned back around and walked out to where he had commanded everyone to gather. The city of Vale was practically abandoned. It had fallen into a state of decay and buildings and businesses were falling apart. Various vehicles filled the streets, abandoned and dead to the world. Cracks spread across the ground and destruction had made it a home in the once lustrous city. It was as if the apocalypse had run rampant and there was nothing anyone could do about it. It was going to be impossible to restore everything even if they did succeed in destroying Tiamat.

With the remaining people that had opted not to be sealed away, to fight against Tiamat and the horde of Lahmu, gathered outside, Naruto finally took the moment to walk out in front of them, "Hear me remaining people of Vale!" Naruto called drawing everyone's attention, "Over six months ago when the Demonic Front was established I told this to all of you; Beacon's downfall was inevitable. You all could have fled, or distracted yourselves with pleasures, or given up and died while crying in despair." he stated calmly, "Instead you pledged your lives to the fight, knowing the end is inevitable, yet still determined to resist." he declared to his growing crowd of onlookers, "Truly, the city of Vale, was a wondrous place." he said crossing his arms.

"Its history, its life, its people!" he said proudly, " And I am lucky to be one of them." he said before speaking up louder, "I'll say it again! Beacon will fall! That is a fact we can no longer change! But there is no need to lament!" he told each of them, "Why? Because if there is even one person who lives to see the dawn of victory, our ways of life will be engraved into the heart of that survivor!" he stated loudly, no longer were people looking down in fear, instead they each held a visage of joy, of peace, of hope and pride! Naruto's words were rallying them better than any call to war, for he was taking charge as a real leader should do.

A man had wrapped his arm around his wife, holding her close as the King gave his speech to all of them, to try and inspire one massive gathering of hope and peace within all of them, "Even if we're to die or leave no offspring, there's a will within our people that won't be erased!" shouted the blond, a woman clasping her hands together as she looked down in peace, "That is the essence of humanity!" Naruto told them, a young man wrapping his arm around his siblings shoulder to remember her for the remainder of his life on earth.

"An inheritance by intellect, not blood, a succession of lives!" he called out, witnesses grabbing onto one another and gaining more hope in not just themselves but in each other, their hearts beating as one entity. Hands grabbed onto one another and gripped tightly as hope filled them in the days of nothing of despair these last six months, "The fall of Beacon does not mean we too shall fall! We will be radiant on the dawn of victory, tethering a generation with that light!" he called as he swiped an arm to his side, "Steel yourselves, my elite warriors!" he told them boldly. Looks of seriousness crossing each of their faces.

"Now is the time to deny the Grimm and begin the age of man!" Naruto called out loudly as everyone gained a look of confidence that they had lost when the battle against the Lahmu had first begun six months ago, hope building in each and every person standing before Naruto, "This will be the battle for true separation from the Gods!" Naruto declared as he clenched a fist in front of his face, "As your King, I call for your lives!" he demanded, "Pass on the glory that is Beacon to generations to come!" he said shoving his fist up over his head, "TO THE LAST MAN!" he roared as the crowd roared with him.

Yang looked to her sister, both feeling a sense of hope that they had thought they had lost, "Ruby!" Yang said looking at her sister, "Let's win this fight!" she declared.

"Yea, of course!" Ruby agreed.

With his speech given, Naruto returned inside and was quickly followed by team RWBY and the two Goddesses with them. Calling them over one last time, Naruto opened up a portal and summoned what appeared to be a Cross-shaped Shield, "I know Pyrrha isn't with us right now, but we have no choice." he said as he handed it to Blake, "This shield is special, Blake, and I want you to make use of it." he told her, "When the lot of you are near Tiamat, simply charge your aura into it and it'll create a small barrier, there is another ability it has, so I'll give you the instructions to study for the possibility of deploying it in case of emergency, but be warned, it can only be summoned once."

"I have nothing more for you other than some ammunition of the highest caliber for your regular weapons and some food and drink for the journey. This is as much a suicide mission as it is a rescue mission. We are rescuing humanity from the clutches of death, and that is why we must fight such overwhelming odds praying against us. Good luck, and happy hunting." he bid them farewell.

"You're not coming?" Weiss asked.

"No. I cannot join you on this leg of the journey." Naruto told her.

"Why not?" Yang spoke up.

"There will be some final preparations here that must be seen to personally by my hands." he told her, "All of you must depart, we cannot wait any longer." he told them.

"I'm sure there's more to it than that, but he's right, we can't sit around any more, we need to get out of here and confront Tiamat." Ishtar told them, "We'll come back and join you." she told Naruto.

"Farewell, and good luck out there." he told them, and with that, the group-minus Ishtar-mounted the Feathered Serpent and took flight, Ishtar flying next to all of them. When they were far enough away, Naruto sighed and shook his head, "Are you sure you wish to go through with this?" he asked seemingly nobody, "You know what awaits you if you do so." he commented.

"If it protects my daughter, I'll lay down my life to ensure she makes it back. You just do the ruler thing here and get your counter offensive ready." a feminine voice said, and then spoke no more.

"Hmph, what a strange woman you are... Raven Branwen." he said, crossing his arms.

~XxX-xxXXxx-XxX~

Flying through the air, the group could see the darkened clouds around them and knew what it meant. Weiss looked to her companions, "Tiamat should be visible soon!" she voiced out to them.

"So, where exactly is Jaguar Warrior at and why isn't she with us?" Yang questioned Quetzalcoatl.

"I left her back to handle things on land." the goddess explained.

"Alright, sounds good." the blond called back, and the group gasped as they came around a tall mountain...

There she was... Tiamat...

"There she is!" Blake said in shock. She was so close to the Fangs it was unreal.

And the Lahmu pack... Quetzalcoatl felt her eyes widen in shock, "There are so many Lahmu..." she gawked.

Ruby turned and felt her eyes widen, "First wave is incoming!" she announced.

A sudden explosion of energy lashed out and struck the Lahmu. Everyone turned and took notice of Ishtar aiming her hand out towards the pack, a laugh escaping her lips, "I was tired of waiting!" she declared, "It's on!" she declared as she charged into battle.

Beams of divine energy shot out, sporadically striking down the Lahmu in the dozens, a path building as it led towards the massive Grimm. At the same time, Quetzalcoatl had leapt off her mount and had wrapped her legs around a Lahmu, and flipped it over and slammed it into a cliff before she landed on her mount once again without a single waste of movement.

"We've passed the first wave!" Blake called out as they soared through the air.

However, if they thought it was over, they were far from being right.

A large Lahmu flew behind a rock formation, a figure standing on its back, and it soared around to ambush them from behind. The group had their heads on a swivel, keeping an eye out for-"LOOK OUT!" Ruby called as she deflected something to save Weiss's life, however, the sheer strength behind the attack was so great it caused her to fall from the animal's back.

"Ruby!" the silver haired teen called out as she barely managed to grab ahold of her leg.

"Aww, it's too bad." a voice that Yang and Ruby were all too familiar with called out as several Lahmu surrounded the group, "Seems I struck just a little too soon." the male voice said, only for the speaker to land on the back of the pterodactyl and reveal himself, "Guess I was a bit hasty there, Ruby." he sneered.

It was Taiyang Xiao-Long. He had been corrupted by dark magic by Salem before she perished, a warrior enhanced by the darkness of the world with only one purpose, to kill his daughters.

With Weiss occupied, the shocked sister's ignored their seemingly corrupt father as Yang cried out, "Flip over!" causing the animal to snarl as it rolled through the sky forcing Taiyang to fall off where he had to be caught by a Lahmu.

"You think you're so clever!" he snarled.

He leapt at the animal again, however, a blast of flame forced him to block as Quetzalcoatl soared in, "We have no time to deal with you!" she snarled as she unleashed a barrage of flaming spears from her hand, the flames exploding around the group to give them reprieve. The goddess turned to her fellow immortal and cried out, "Ishtar!" to draw her attention.

The war goddess killed another Lahmu as she turned back to answer, "Yea, I know!" she stated as she took aim and fired, killing the Lahmu, but not Taiyang.

And sadly, he had already leapt.

"Ishtar!" Yang panicked

However, she saw a shadow and turned with wide eyes, only for something to appear and swallow Taiyang up and transport him away.

It was a crimson portal that only one person had access to for her power, and it was one Yang was familiar with. The blond turned in surprise to see another Feathered Serpent flying nearby, and it had a rider, one Yang and her friends were familiar with as well, "Mom!" she cried out in surprise.

Raven Branwen had arrived to save her child.

The Spring Maiden smiled at her daughter and called back, "I have returned to help, it is time to pay for my crimes!" she told her daughter, "I accept responsibility for my actions!" she declared loudly.

"HA!" Taiyang called out in disbelief, "Now you decide to show up?!" he demanded from his ex, "Such foolhardy courage is unlike you, Raven!" he sneered at her, "Now leave!" he ordered her.

"To think you harbor so much anger, that you rage like a storm!" she called out as she blocked a sword strike and quickly engaged him, "I can't bear to see you this way!" she told him as they fought and blocked with rapid strikes.

"Shut your mouth!" Taiyang snarled as he kicked her off the reptile, however, Raven was far more skilled and she used her magic as a Maiden to fly back and around Tai to block him once more.

With Taiyang resolving issues with the ex, the group took it upon themselves to advance towards Tiamat, "How much further?" Ishtar asked in worry.

Glynda quickly typed away at her computer, "Ten Kilometers!" she called back through the communications device

"It's that far?" she asked in shock, "Tiamat's in front of the Fangs of Napishtim and we've got to stop her!" she said in panic. Back with the group, Ishtar gasped when she noticed team RWBY soar past her, "Wait, you're going the wrong way, that leads straight for a pack of Lahmu!" she told them as she watched Blake activate a barrier using her shield and gave chase. The Lahmu slammed into and bounced off the barrier as they charged ahead, Blake's aura supplying ample power to the shield. Catching up, the goddess looked at them, "What are you doing?!" she called out.

"We're cutting through and straight across!" Yang called, "We can't skirt around the back of the pack with dad on our tail!" she told her.

Raven finally gave Taiyang the slip and quickly caught up as she flew next to the kid's, "He's too strong, he'll overwhelm the kid's and end them without remorse." she said as she killed a Lahmu.

"I guess it's all or nothing!" Ishtar said as she pointed her finger and gathered magic at the tip of it, and quickly began to fire her attacks at any Lahmu who ventured too close to the group.

As he gave chase, Taiyang was overcome with rage, "RARGH, DAMN YOU!" he snarled in anger.

The group's advance was going smoothly, they were quickly drawing closer to their target, all they needed was to hold off the Lahmu and Taiyang for just a bit longer, "3 Kilometers to target!" Cinder called out through the Comm's, "Quetzalcoatl is going to use her power, brace yourselves!" she called.

"Alright!" Weiss called back, only for a snarl to sound out above them.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?" Taiyang roared as he dived down at them, but Blake was quick to raise her shield up and block the strike, "NO MATTER WHAT, YOU'RE GONNA FAIL AND DIE LIKE YOUR MOTHER!" he roared at his daughters and their friends.

Quetzalcoatl jumped and kicked him away before she summoned up a large ball of fire and threw it ahead at the pack of Lahmu, a massive explosion ripping through them and clearing a large opening. Blake gasped in surprise, "There's a hole in the swarm!" she called.

"Girls, we all part ways here!" Quetzalcoatl called out as she landed on her mount, "Get back and brace yourselves for the spectacle of a lifetime!" she called out as she winked towards them.

"Alright, we'll be sure to-"Yang stopped when she watched her mother give chase after Quetzalcoatl, "Mom, what are you doing, you'll get hit by the attack?! Mom!" she cried out, "MOM!" she screamed.

Raven had resolved herself to this ending, she had no regrets, "Thank you for guarding me." Quetzalcoatl told her kindly, drawing her attention, "But I'll incinerate you with everything else." she told the mortal.

Raven gave a smile, "I couldn't ask for better." she responded, causing the goddess to softly smile in return. They both glanced back, and sure enough, Taiyang was rapidly drawing close. Raven looked to the Goddess and roared, "LEAVE HIM TO ME!" as she charged at her ex-husband, their blades showering them with sparks as they deflected each other's strike meant to kill the other.

At the same time, Quetzalcoatl planted a fist on the back of her mount, surging her magic power into her hand and chanted, "The past is here! The present is here!" she called out, an intense heat permeating the air around her.

Raven swiped a sword through the air, deflecting a sword from Taiyang, "No dammit, no!" the man cried out as the ebony eyed Huntress continued to fight as she defied him.

Quetzalcoatl took the hand gathering magic power and raised it above her head as she declared loudly, "The future is here!" and for the first time, she conjured up a magic seal, the sigil rapidly spinning around as it grew in size and power, increasing her strength by dozens of times. Raven and her ex-husband clashed again and again, sparks filling the air as their blades clashed, the dark skinned man snarling as he tried to push past the Spring Maiden, throwing his sword at her, only for Raven to send it flying back at him in response, "Come winds, come lightning!" Quetzalcoatl called out loudly as she called upon one of her Authorities, "When the morning star shines," she called out desperately, trying to complete her spell.

"DIE!" The corrupt warrior snarled at Raven, leaping off a Lahmu, and stabbing his sword into her chest, and flipping over her to try and get to Quetzalcoatl.

However, Quetzalcoatl was almost ready, she needed only to stall a few more seconds. And that was all she needed, "Let all know the Sun's light reaches every corner of the Earth!" the Goddess chanted proudly, her strength wavering in the evening light, but her beliefs as strong as ever before as she neared the end of her conjuring, a massive energy spiked above her head as the sigil transformed and pushed out a ball of roiling flame of golden fire, the blond sun goddess reaching up to grip it in her fist. However, as she did this, in a shocking move, with her declaration complete, she leapt off the reptile she flew on and dived towards the earth, ready to stop this menace of a Grimm once and for all, "Piedra... Del...", but this was what Taiyang was waiting for, and he jumped as well.

"I won't let you!" Taiyang called out, only to gasp as a hand grabbed a hold of his ankle.

Raven smiled at her beloved, "This time... for sure..." she grunted as Quetzalcoatl neared the ground, "I'll be with you... until the very end..."

"Damn you!" Taiyang snarled indignantly.

"Sol!" Quetzalcoatl called out as she struck the ground, a massive explosion ripping through the air and annihilating everything around it. The explosion seen from miles around it from the farthest of reaches.

Raven's grip slackened on her husband's ankle, her body quickly blackening before it burned to ash on the wind. Taiyang smiled softly, "Your courage...Such a foolhardy impulse is truly out of character... Raven..." he whispered lovingly as his own body blackened, and then burnt to ash in the wind soon after.

And then, the explosion came, more powerful than any nuclear weapon to be designed, the flames evaporated the black mud Tiamat stood on and the remaining Lahmu around her in an instant. Back with Glynda and Cinder and their workers, they were astounded by the energy readings they were getting, "Authority detected!" a man called out, "It's the Piedra Del Sol from Quetzalcoatl." he announced, "Success, the black mud is burning away at incredible speeds!" he said before gasping in shock.

"What is it?" Glynda asked.

"Life-sign's from Raven Branwen and Taiyang Xiao-Long are no longer detected. They have completely disappeared with the black mud." he said to her.

"I see..." she said softly.

Back with Team RWBY and their allies, they watched in surprise as Tiamat suddenly came to a stop, and then fell to her knees in the lava created by Quetzalcoatl, then her hands followed shortly after, "Tiamat... she's stopped!" Blake said in surprise.

"Tiamat's advance has stopped!" the man called out, "Success! Quetzalcoatl is still deploying her authority even now!" he told his superiors.

"If we keep buying them time, we'll make it until the gates of the Underworld open up!" Cinder said happily.

"Victory will be ours as long as we can hold out." Glynda agreed.

However, it was too good to be true. While Quetzalcoatl was ankle deep in the molten lava she looked up as she heard a strange sound emanating from Tiamat. Her horns quickly changed and sprouted smaller protrusions and released a strange mist from them. Weiss looked on in shock, "What is that?" she asked in slight disgust.

They watched as the massive Grimm began to rise, Lava rolling off her flesh as she moved under her own power, "Is she trying to get up?" Yang asked in surprise.

"I thought she was unable to support her own weight!" Ruby cried.

"She's not supposed to!" Blake said in worry, Tiamat now on her knees as she rose up... and then to her feet.

"There's magical energy concentrating around her spinal column and horns!" Cinder told them as she typed rapidly on the keys, "She's able to stand in spite of her weight as well!" she said in shock, "Can it be?!" she gasped in horror.

And she was proven right, for mere seconds after she said this, Tiamat slowly began to rise up off the ground, the Lava washing off her body as she began to rise higher and higher into the air.

"She... She can fly?" Weiss asked in shock.

"That's impossible! As a Grimm, she's meant to embody the power of earth! She's not supposed to approach the heavens!" Ishtar called out as she looked at the massive Grimm.

"If she's able to fly, she won't fall into the Underworld!" Ruby exclaimed.

"This means that our trap won't work!" Yang stated.

"Mortal weapons and conventional weapon's won't cause any damage, I believe I already told you that." Quetzalcoatl said, pulling up a sphere of roiling golden flame, and to the shock of everyone, forced it to implant itself into her chest, the burning lake of lava suddenly turning to stone with cracks of flame filtering through the surface of the ground, "However, I am a goddess of a distant mythical land!" she declared, grabbing her armor and physically ripping it off his body, slamming a foot into the molten ground and shattering it as he freed himself from his confines.

"Primordial Grimm of Creation, you are nothing to me!" the goddess bellowed out, opening her eyes to reveal a golden fury slowly gathering underneath her body, and then to everyone's shock she shot off into the skies above, "Witness the power of the Underworld Xibalba, and the cataclysmic impact that annihilated countless lives!" she snarled as she soared up into the high atmosphere above, a golden streak of fire trailing behind as she soared at hyper-sonic speeds. Tiamat's gaze turned upwards and, as if sensing the imminent danger approaching, unleashed a trifecta of thick circular shields in front of her body that hovered over her, "I shall burn everything away and become the comet that killed the Earth!" she declared as she suddenly dive-bombed towards the ground, "Ultimo! Tope! Patada~!" the goddess bellowed as an explosion ripped across the heavens.

And in an instant, Quetzalcoatl struck with the force of annihilation itself. The explosion of energy vastly overpowered her initial strike when she had unleashed Piedra Del Sol by dozens in scale of magnitude. The shockwave washing over the land and a pillar of light striking down from the heavens with the force of the heavens. With her foot planted against the first shield, Quetzalcoatl had immediately cracked it, shattering it seconds after coming into contact with it with the sheer amount of power she was unleashing. Tiamat was given no reprieve as she was slammed into the lava beneath her feet, her horns cracking from the sheer force of power being pushed down on her.

With a cry, the Grimm unleashed a powerful shockwave to try and hold off Quetzalcoatl, however, the Sun Goddess was anything but powerless, and as such, she simply raised her foot up into the air and gathered her magic, "Don't underestimate me!" she snarled, "Burning fighting spirit, Xiuhcoatl!" she declared as she struck down, shattering the second shield in an instant, a massive explosion of energy shooting into the skies above. However, she had sacrificed a major portion of her power to burst through both the shields to even reach Tiamat, but the third shield was much stronger than the first tow put together, "I don't think I have enough power to break through this wall!" she thought in worry.

"You can do it, Quetzalcoatl!" Ruby called out.

And, being a goddess, she easily heard the young reaper and smiled. So even now, when she wasn't believing in herself, there were those who still put their faith into her power as a goddess... very well then... It was time to be a goddess! She called upon all the remaining power she had and roared, the shield cracking as she put everything she had into her attack, and still she forced more into it. Tiamat was forced to her knees as the strength in her attacker's power grew further, her horns cracking. With a cry, she expanded the breaking shield to try and hold off the enemy.

Quetzalcoatl cried as she was pushed away, but she continued to hold out, to bring this bitch down so humanity could thrive. Seeing her struggle from afar, Weiss cried out, "YOU CAN DO IT, QUETZALCOATL!" and she was right, for the energy Quetzalcoatl gained each time someone mentioned her name-even though they weren't praying to her-was always doubled if they knew her personally. The shield cracked more and more, and with a cry, the goddess shattered it and fell through as she raised her leg once more, surprising the massive Grimm long enough to let the blond woman bring her foot down, and strike.

The group covered themselves as the shockwave of energy died down. When they managed to look up, all they could feel was horror. Tiamat was practically untouched by Quetzalcoatl's attack, the goddess herself nowhere to be seen. Ruby shivered in terror, "No way...even after an attack as strong as that..." she muttered, her eyes visibly shaking in untold horror from what she was seeing.

"So even now... we still can't touch her?" Weiss asked, however, she noticed something and gasped.

"No good." Glynda said in frustration, "At this rate, it's hopeless."

"Professor Goodwitch!" Weiss called, "Analyze the damage done to Tiamat!" she called out.

"What are you talking about?"

"Tiamat couldn't have come away unscathed after such a powerful attack so easily! This means that if we find her wounds location then we might be able to break through!" The Schnee told Glynda as she responded by quickly beginning her search, "Ishtar, please intercept the remaining Lahmu to the northwest of us." she pleaded.

"On it!" the goddess called as she took off.

"Now, we need to strike before she can get up and advance." Weiss declared.

"We can't hurt her, much less scratch her, how do you expect us to hold her off?" Yang asked.

"We need to try-" Weiss went on to say, only for the ground to shake then burst up as something massive rose up from the ground. The girls felt their eyes widen as a massive snake that was all too familiar to them roared, followed by more and more, the ground around Tiamat shattering as several Lahmu were ripped apart. At the same time, a pair of wings rose up, and then spread themselves open to reveal a sight they had thought they would never see again, "It... It's Gorgon!" she said in disbelief, and as she said this, a pair of purple reptilian eyes opened to gaze upon her enemy.

"G-Gorgon?!" Blake said in surprise.

"Be gone! Be Gone! Not Real! Dirty Fake!" the Lahmu declared as they rushed at the goddess who was thought dead.

"That's enough!" Gorgon stated as she lashed out, capturing the demons with extreme ease, "You are all nothing but disgusting pieces of mud granted a brief life in this realm." she said, crushing them with her extremely long snake-like hair.

"Why is she here?" Ruby asked.

"I don't know,"Yang said honestly.

"Do you think she came to help?" Blake questioned.

The goddess snorted, "Help, did you say?" she questioned.

"Of course! Let's work together to-"Ruby went to say only to be interrupted.

"Right now all of you are nothing but a hindrance to my decision." Gorgon said as her crimson eyes gazed back through the veil of her hair.

"We are?" Weiss questioned in confusion.

"Hmph, the Faunus girl, she can't lift her shield due to her low aura levels. And you, Schnee, you are out of energy as well, so much in fact your veins are starting to experience necrosis from over exerting yourself in battle. The two little siblings are nothing more than glorified bodyguards at this point. For the disservice placed upon me for her betrayal, I will smash Tiamat's wings and teach her that it is she who slithers across the ground." she stated, "My life is already waning, at least I can teach her the lesson of betraying the betrayer in my final moments." she told the mortal's.

"W-What?" Blake whispered.

"You're dying?" Weiss asked in shock.

"Little girl, I was dead the moment you humans decided to fight against the heavens. But at least I can amend one mistake I made in helping this creature before I take my final breath in this world. Now leave, unless you wish to perish." she told them.

Yang swallowed roughly, "U-Understood. Than-" she said, finally understanding just who had come to help them.

"I thought I told you, I am not here to help you." the goddess stated, "Now leave." She ordered them.

"Right... thank you..." the blond nodded.

With that, Yang turned the large feathered serpent around and flew away, "Wait, Yang, hold on a second! That goddess, it wasn't a normal deity, it's Sal-" Ruby went to say only for her sister to stop her, "I know who it is, and she's trying to redeem herself." she stated.

The goddess flared her wings open, her eyes focused on her enemy, "I didn't get to say a proper goodbye to you Ozma. However, I suppose that this is enough for me." she silently told herself, "I'm sorry, by trying to work out a solution to a small problem I turned something so easily amended into a eon of anguish. I can never return to the days where we spent our days in perpetual happiness, but I can ensure that the future is one filled with love and joy for the remainder of the world." she declared, "And now, my shame shall be rectified. Tiamat the shame of my life and darkness of my heart, I shall teach you the true meaning of pain!" she said as her eyes glowed with divine energy.

As she declared this, a large sigil of crimson energy manifested in front of her, "I sacrifice what remains of my divine curse, my own immortality, and even my remaining life to ensure that you will not fly from here on! I will be the great rectifier that shall bring the Dragon of the Earth down!" she cried out as she finished her final and most powerful spell she could, "Pandemonium Cetus!" she cried as a dark black beam of magic lashed out and struck Tiamat. Her already cracked horn cracked some more before it shattered and fell away, her wings turned to stone and crumbled to dust, but even then the damage wouldn't be enough to destroy the worst creation to exist.

When the energy died down, the goddesses body glowed as it began to disintegrate into particles of energy, "I tried, but even when I try to amend my faults I am still horrible at rectifying them. The rest is up to you, and I wish I were only able to see it come true." she whispered her final words, and finally vanished.

"It's no good." Glynda spoke, "She can't fly anymore, but if she continues to create the Black mud, we won't be able to stop her advance!" she stated.

Naruto stood out on the top of the Academy, "Those two. One born of divine blood and the other using the energy of the heavens. Their performance was the best we could hope for." he stated as he watched the fight from afar, "I guess there are some good goddesses out there after all." he smiled softly, only to stop smiling as he watched the Fangs of Napishtim collapse and a wave of the mud flow towards Beacon, above it was Team RWBY and Ishtar as they rushed towards the Academy to get to Naruto safely, "And now... the final stage of this battle commences." he muttered. He would look ahead as the tide of mud crashed into the wall around Beacon and the remaining group of survivors came flying in with a calm facade.

"King Naruto!" Ruby called as she and her sister ran across the roof towards the new King.

"You're back." Naruto stated as he turned to them before facing away and nodding, "Take a look," he told them softly, "and see Beacon in its entirety." he told them solemnly as he gazed upon his city, "One more step and it will be wiped off the land." he said. The view, which had once been a sight of beauty and awe was now burning and crumbling apart, "The end of one world." he affirmed as the massive demonic beasts-Lahmu-walked through the abandoned streets filled with the Grimm- known to be a great destroyer Tiamat which was a Creator God-chaos mud. A powerful shake filled the air as they turned to face the monster approaching them, "Here she comes, our Mother has come home." he stated as he watched the demon.

Naruto smirked, the wind blowing through the air and ruffling his head-wear. He held out a hand and a tablet of stone appeared in a golden flash and landed in his palm. Summoning his power a golden ring of energy began to circulate around the tablet, "This is the moment, Beacon's last stand against Tiamat!" he declared boldly, immense amounts of energy spreading across the ground as Naruto summoned his power, dozens of pebbles rising into the air as his power washed out over the ground, "All of you just stand and bear witness!" he told the group of huntresses as his city begun to glow along the wall at the same time, the golden glow rising up and entering the dark clouds lingering overhead as the ring of light encompassed the academy.

As this happened, in the safety of the bunker, Cinder felt her eyes widen in shock, "You don't have any Lapis Lazuli or soldiers, yet the Dingirs are operating on their own!" She called in shock as 'The King's Signal Cannon' began to moan and creak before powering up through the energy provided by Naruto.

Naruto snorted in amusement, "Who do you think I am?" he demanded, the massive cannon's creaking and groaning as they swiveled around, taking aim at the massive target they were presented with, the points of the massive weapons now glowing with golden energy and sparks of electricity as they powered up, "All 360 Dingir's mounted on the wall around Beacon were made by my hands." he stated, and then the sky was filled with light as they all unleashed their power, "Charged with my Aura as well as Semblance I can control them all!" he declared boldly, the initial salvo raining down upon Tiamat with a righteous fury, "I can work this body to death, and control every one!" he declared seriously as the vault of the King was firing everything it had at the Creator God, engulfing her in a cloud of fire and destruction.

Team RWBY watched in awe as they watched the cannons bombard the massive Grimm. The Dingirs were powerful weapons, massive cannons with enough power to wipe cities off the map, and required an immense amount of power to operate them. The fact Naruto was controlling them all on his own without any secondary thought to his actions was something that would have drained anyone with high levels of power the minute they tried to do so, but here he was doing the impossible again.

"Now sit back and watch, you'll see what I can do to stop Tiamat!" the king called out as Tiamat cried out in agony, an explosion striking her in the face.

The burning night was filled with the dazzling display of the King's counter offense, hundreds-no... thousands-of streaks of golden light soared through the sky over their heads, exploding with enough power to shake the school and outlying grounds, incredible amounts of debris filled the air from the vast amount of impacts due to the explosions that engulfed Tiamat, "Amazing..." Blake whispered before she remembered something, "Ereshkigal!" she called out loudly, "How are preparations in the underworld?!" she questioned.

Underground, the blond goddess turned up towards the cavern ceiling, "Not quite! Hold on for just a little longer!" she pleaded. The sheer amount of destruction being unveiled against Tiamat was causing a large amount of rocks to fall from overhead, the ground rocking with each massive explosion against Tiamat unleashed.

Yang turned around from watching the bombardment to face towards the nigh immortal Grimm, watching as hundreds of explosions filled the air, but she couldn't foresee what the beast was about to do. Naruto was the only one gifted with the ability of foresight and felt his eyes widen and moved before anyone could see or question him as to why Tiamat's eyes glowed for but a split second, and then it happened. A blur pushed her to the ground and blood filled the air. Yang was stunned. The blood that fell upon her cheek and pooled across the ground was great, but at the same time the one who saved her had shocked her beyond words, "K-King Naruto?" Yang said in silent shock and horror as the blond man rose to his full height.

"How dare you try to snipe her?" Naruto growled as he turned to his foe, looking at his hand that was covered in his own blood. There was a large hole that had been drilled through his side, and it was bleeding profusely, blood slowly pouring down his clothes and staining them red. He looked up, ignoring the stunned looks of his allies, "You have good aim." he said, turning to walk back to his original spot, "Impressive, you damned demoness." he stated as he faced his adversary. Turning around he walks through the puddle of his own blood and stops a few feet away. While he would have enjoyed living a longer life, sometimes things just happened and you couldn't change them.

As such, the courage and actions he would display here and now in this battle had earned-unknowingly-his place as the first Hero in the dark void known as the Throne of Heroes as the world's first and grandest Heroic Spirit.

"K-King Naruto!" Ruby cried out in worry.

"Worry not, it's only a mortal wound." he interrupted them all as he re-summoned the tablet back to his hand, "If you lot are still fine, then all is well." he said, "Now, let's do this. Dingir's, work for me!" he commanded, his voice filled with confidence, his cannon's bombarding Tiamat once again with a endless fury from the weapons of humanity. It was the full collective power of every weapon Naruto had picked up in his short life-of which there was a lot-and as such could be seen as the full collective power of humanity itself.

"Please stop!" Blake pleaded with him.

"Naruto, please, you're clearly in no shape or condition to fight as you are!" Ruby pleaded.

"Stop, please, we need to stop the bleeding while we still can!" Weiss pleaded.

"Are you saying it's impossible!? That I cannot do this!? That I have reached my limit!?" Naruto demanded, not stopping his second wave of endless attacks, "That Beacon cannot fight anymore?!" he demanded, "Do you claim so as well, Yang Xiao-Long!?" the king demanded.

always found a way to survive at all costs, and they would survive this no matter what may happen, "No..." Yang said as she stood back up, confidence filling her very being, hundreds of golden lights soaring overhead each passing second to impact against Tiamat with explosive force, "No!" she declared again, her hand rising to her chest in hope. If Naruto had such confidence in not just himself, but humanity as a whole, then she would too, "Beacon is far from finished!" she declared just as boldly as the King had done before.

Naruto smirked as golden energy surrounded him, "Well said!" he stated as he called upon more power, a second ring of gold energy surrounding him as it rapidly rotated and surged the vestiges of power into the cannons, "Then it's time for me to finally get serious!" he said with a grin before snorting, "Well, I was already going all out, but I do enjoy the bravado." he told himself.

"We've detected a huge discharge of Lahmu! They're coming ahead of Tiamat!" Glynda cried over the comm's.

As she announced this, Ishtar was doing her best to hold off what enemies she could hit with her divine energy, but she could only do so much, "Not good, there's just too many!" she said in despair, "This is...'' she said in worry before stopping as several explosions went off turned and watched in confusion as Lahmu dive-bombed sections of the wall to try and destroy the Dingir's with minor success, "Wait a second, that's almost like a anti-castle weapon!" she gawked and turned, "Are they still up for another?" she questioned before she shook her head, "That means I have to unleash all the energy I saved up..." she said nervously, "to slam them into the underworld!"she said, summoning her weapon to her side.

However, before she could act, dozens of golden lights shined behind her, causing her to gasp as she turned around and cry out as she was forced to duck as dozens of chains suddenly flew past her. The chains quickly surrounded the Lahmu in a fashion similar to a net, where the Lahmu were gathered in a large herd, and then, a fist clenched and dozens of the chains impaled each of the Lahmu. Ishtar gasped in shock, "Wait, those chain's, aren't they... Angelica?!" she gasped as she watched the young woman fly past her, a blast of lightning surrounding the Lahmu before exploding violently.

As she continued to fly ahead, another pack of the demonic creatures followed closely behind, but Angelica wasn't fazed and she turned back to face them, and grunted as she launched several more chains out that quickly bound the monstrosities up and impaled even more, "Hmph, all of you are just mass produced garbage." she sneered out to the Lahmu, "How pitiful." she cooed condescendingly!

"HOW DARE YOU LIVE! ANGELICA!" one of the Lahmu called out, drawing her attention as one dove at her, only to be wrapped up in chains.

"I don't know how these are giving everyone so much trouble, so easy to merely bind up." she sighed out, "It's unbelievable the amount of gall that they have to challenge my authority." she said as she turned to the academy building that Naruto and the others stood on top of. She then sighed once more, "For all of my bravado, I couldn't do anything on my own. But even so, I made it until the very end." she stated, watching as her beloved fought with all he had, the other's watching his back as they fought off other Lahmu packs, "But... I can do anything I want on my own...I guess I was already going down that path from the very beginning." she smiled softly.

"HOW COME!? FRIEND'S YOU WANT TO BE WITH THE MORTAL'S YOU DO?!" a Lahmu demanded, only for a chain to rip the beasts head off.

"They aren't my friends, you idiot's. I am doing this simply because you all did the same to me." She told the monsters, "I am going to end this farce, and let humanity choose where it goes from here on without any interference." she responded, her chains dissolving one at a time as the Lahmu perished one by one within the chains. She looked down, the memory of Naruto telling her to make her own choices flowing through her mind; "No matter who your mother is, or how you were born, follow your own desire." he told Angelica, "Just like we used to, before everything that happened to us came to be..." he told her. And with his piece said, Naruto left her there, tears in her eyes as she recalled everything she had been through with Naruto and the others of Beacon.

"Forget about mother and how I came to be?" she questioned, "Should I do what I truly desire?" she asked, "I didn't have such a luxury. I had... nothing..." she whispered. She raised a shaky hand to look at it, "Naru, I didn't have anything! Except, when I think back, there was one thing..." she cried, tears running down her cheeks, "I wanted to be with you, to marry you and have a family with you. To grow old and watch as our family grew as we too grew to old age together." she wept, "All the memories I made during the time we spent together, they are some of my most precious ones of us." she sniffled.

"But, I guess, that was nothing more that a wishful thought of what I desired when I was still your friend.'' She sobbed, turning to face Tiamat as she broke through the walls surrounding Beacon, the Dingir's still bombarding the roaring Grimm as she grew ever closer to the Academy, her cry almost sounding like an angelic note of a song.

"She's in the plaza!" Yang cried out in panic.

"I was born into this world in order to preserve it." Angelica stated as she finally understood what she wanted to do, "Goodbye... my friends..." she said, arcs of lightning sparking around her as she called upon her full Semblance, "I'm afraid you chose the wrong person to do your bidding, mother." she said as she smiled in happiness for the first time since she left Beacon behind.

"We need to stop her!" Blake panicked.

However, they were pulled from their panic as they saw a familiar person flying through the air towards Tiamat.

"Wait, that's-" Weiss gasped out.

Naruto however held a somber face, understanding what was about to happen before it occurred, a look of content as he forgave himself for allowing it to happen without him being able to stop her own wish and, with her sacrifice, he stopped his bombardment on Tiamat s he watched the figure dash in to the front of that massive creature.

Angelica flew around to face the Grimm personally, "I know what I was born to do." she said as she stopped and hovered, raised a hand and pointed at Tiamat, "I am Angelica, the daughter of Salem, and I will now show you the true power of the Chains of Heaven!" she declared boldly to the creature, sparks of lightning arcing out as she allowed herself to begin her final attack, and suddenly a massive disk of golden energy erupted beneath Tiamat and illuminated the beast in her entirety.

Her own body glowed like a star in the night sky as she prepared her attack, and flew higher above Tiamat, "My mother's fury shall be a thing of the past." she thought seriously, dozens of chains sprouting out and binding Tiamat, but she knew she had to make a full binding to stop her, "Now I shall awaken the breath of the stars!" she declared as the memories of the times she spent with Naruto and her former friends flowing through her mind as she recalled them all in her final moments in the world.

The day she had met Naruto, finding a person worthy of her attention. The fight they had held against one another had ripped the land apart, transforming a forest into a desert in the ensuing clash of power. The grins that they had held on their faces, locked blade to blade as sparks filled the air between them from pure force as the night was ignited from their fight. The day of initiation, Naruto had come to her and proposed that they try and team up as early as possible, so as to challenge one another in everything from strength to wits. His mother looked somewhat embarrassed as he complimented her prowess as equal to his own.

Glynda's smile as she took the picture of her and Naruto dressed up nicely for her and Ozpin's wedding-something which had been long overdue-which Angelica was Naruto's date to the ceremony. A peaceful weekend spent relaxing. Naruto had journeyed to a distant forest to explore, she had found him leaning against a rock next to a brook of water to rest from the heat, he was pleased to see her despite not knowing her true motives at the time. At the same time, they had agreed to hunt down some of the larger Grimm in the wild forest to test themselves, they had slain a Wyvern together. His weapons killing it whiles her chains bound it to the ground, the start of their adventure as friends and eventually lovers.

And with the final memory, she was ascending into the heavens above, her body transforming and morphing into that which she knew she was, a writhing mass of chains that would bind anyone and anything to her will, "ENUMA~! ELISH~!" she declared as she struck down with the fury of the very heavens.

Loud explosions filled the air as the chains crashed down, chaining the massive Grimm to the earth, sprouts of mud filling the air shortly as they pinned Tiamat to the ground beneath her feet.

When everyone opened their eyes, they blinked, "That just now..." Ruby whispered in awe.

Naruto snorted, "Take a look." he told them. They all gazed across the plaza and gawked as they took in the sight of the restrained Grimm. Bound by the golden chains, it was incapable of moving a single inch, "Just a few more steps over here and the academy would be reduced to ashes." he told them, banishing the book in his hand as he spoke sincerely before snickering in amusement, "But it's frustrating her. With those chains, she can barely move, even a single step is so difficult!" he declared, "In truth it's only a momentary restraint, but for her, a mind-numbing eternity." he said in admiration.

"Amazing!" Weiss whispered in awe.

"Angelica..." Yang sighed in depression, they had been close, and now... she was gone for good.

"The Chains of Heaven overcame the monumental strength of a God of Creation." he said with pride, "And I've said goodbye twice." he admitted, "The first time I mourned. But this time is different." he told them, "Her proud and valiant figure...is burned into my memory for an eternity!" he said looking to the others with a smile causing them to blink in shock, "Team RWBY, I thank you!" he told them sincerely, the city behind him was falling apart as the flames of destruction ate away at everything, "If every resource in this era had been called into service, I feel it all would have ended here." he told them, "All of you were foreigner's, a foreign element to this battle, and so a surplus." he told them.

A flower shop down the road, destroyed as the flames licked away at the walls, a wreath of red roses mixed with other flowers fell to the ground and was consumed by flame, "Indeed, that surplus was what made the difference as we faced destruction we could not overcome alone." he said with a kind smile, "We could not have made our final move without you." he told them, and if one were to look through the now mud filled streets leading to Beacon, they would notice the corrosive substance absorbing everything it touched. Men, women, children, vehicles, armor, weapons.

All of it sinking into the mud, but still Naruto talked peacefully, "This would have all been for nothing if we hadn't united everyone and came together as a people." he told them, "The time has come." he said, the chains now beginning to quickly turn to stone and cracking apart as he spoke to his friends, "With confidence, I'm leaving everything in each of your capable hands now." he told them, not expecting them to understand he had barely any time left in this world.

"Right!" the girls called out to him as he snorted. Good, they would need that confidence in the coming fight.

"Naruto!" Ereshkigal desperately called out, her divine power dying down as she called out, "The phase transition between Beacon and the Underworld is complete!" she called out as she smiled happily, "All we need to do is dig a hole!" she declared!

"All of you prepare yourselves." Naruto told them as he looked up, "Ishtar!" he called out, "We're going to drop Tiamat into the void!" he told her.

The chains restraining Tiamat were crumbling apart quicker and quicker so they had to act, NOW!

The Goddess smiled happily, "I've been waiting for this! Okay, Naruto!" the goddess responded as she readied herself, "As requested. I'm going to punch through the ground beneath your feet with no mercy!" she declared. She spread her arms, "Gate open!" she declared as the sky opened wide, hundreds of thousands of glowing stars clearly visible in the void she called upon, and suddenly an immensely large shape began to take form. Naruto hadn't seen it, but he was in awe as well. What Ishtar had brought forth was a whole planet, and it was summoned as if it were nothing, "From the great heavens, towards the great earth!" she called, "The future is going to take care of itself!" she cried out, her eyes glowing a gold yellow with her power coursing through her veins.

Ishtar threw her spear up into the sky above, and the planet began to vanish into golden particles of energy and swirl around Ishtar's bow before a golden sphere of energy formed, then transformed into a large magenta arrow. The chains were crumbling apart, but Ishtar was determined to do her part, "Everyone get ready for impact!" Glynda called out over the radio.

"Ruby!" Yang cried out to her sister.

"Right, Yang!" she said, taking her hand as they all crouched behind Naruto who remained standing.

Ishtar snarled as she took aim at Salem's ultimate demon, and placed her right hand on her left elbow and pointed her fingers like a gun, "An Gal Ta Kigal Šè" she yelled before the attack was launched with enough speed and force to cause a powerful explosion which enveloped the Grimm and ripped apart the remaining sections of the school grounds. The Academy itself was experiencing a massive collapse of structural integrity, and sections crumbled to the ground at incredible speeds.

"Weiss, hurry!" Blake pleaded.

"Of course!" the young woman responded and joined her team.

Team RWBY would collapse through the roof and fall into the ground, save one.

Naruto...

The blond stood strong as he watched his home fall apart, but he stopped only a moment to turn around to his shocked peers, but in that moment, they could tell he was content with his choice, the small smile saying it all.

He was glad to have known each of them.

XxX

Falling through the darkness of the hole that Ishtar had punched into the earth, Team RWBY cried out as they fell. Ruby held Yang's hand, "Yang!" the brunette cried, "I can't see what's beneath us!" she cried in worry. However, before Team Ruby could hit the bottom, a spear of light tapped the ground and a golden aura enveloped the quartet plus dog and caused them to stop and float for a moment while their eyes widened in surprise.

"W-Wait a moment!" Blake exclaimed.

"Is this-" Weiss began to ask only for all of them to look down and see a familiar face, "Ereshkigal!?" they all cried out.

The goddess smiled as she waved to them, Naruto's pet dog-Fou, held in her arms, cried out in greeting, "Welcome to the underworld." she greeted them all happily, "I made an exception and authorized permission for you to exist and to float within the Underworld." she told them as they floated to the ground, "For now, within the Underworld, you do not count as living creatures." she told them as they reached the ground and stumbled, "Just gather energy in your feet and imagine the ground. That should help you adjust to float and hover." she explained and watched them quickly grasp her small lesson.

"I-It takes some getting used to." Blake muttered. She wasn't wrong, it was strange to be turned into what basically was a ghost, but they were.

"But, it's fine once you do get used to it." Yang agreed shakily.

Ereshkigal stroked her hair, "This really, really is an exception, okay?" She asked them to see if they understood what she was doing for them.

"Yes, thanks for saving us Ereshkigal." Weiss said politely.

"Yes, thanks so much." Ruby agreed, nodding rapidly.

"O-Okay, we're fine then." Ereshkigal stuttered out, only for the ground to shake violently under them.

"This shaking..." Yang said, looking up in alarm.

Ereshkigal smirked at the group, "Now then, I want all of you to look, and behold!" the goddess said as she turned and pointed her spear down below. And what they saw was an astonishing sight. Illuminated by what appeared to be long streaks of blue lightning striking across the ground, a loud howl of agony filled the air where the group suddenly understood what was trapped within the streaks of dark energy.

"T-Tiamat!" the group of girls cried out in shock.

"We were successful in dropping her into the underworld?!" Yang exclaimed happily.

"But, what's that light down there?" Weiss asked curiously.

Ereshkigal smirked proudly, Glynda's voice speaking through their earpieces, "Amazing! Enough heat comparable to Ishtar's attack earlier has set Tiamat ablaze!" she called out, "And it doesn't seem to be going out either!"

"It's one of the defenses of the Underworld." Ereshkigal stated, "This happens when one of the living comes without my permission. This was a law laid down at the dawn of time when Light and Dark were forever divided." she explained as she raised her weapon, "Not even a Grimm as powerful as Tiamat is an exception to this command." she said seriously.

"Ereshkigal, that's amazing." Ruby said in awe.

Ereshkigal pointed her blade and spoke deeply, "I feel bad for King Naruto and miss out, but I'm going to finish her off as the Mistress of the Underworld." she declared, and suddenly her blade began to glow with crimson energy that suddenly expelled off the weapon and gathered into a myriad of red spears that sparked with seemingly dark energy, "Hear me, Gallu spirit's, the spears of rotting flesh and death!" she commanded, the spears of light now rotating around the massive Grimm, "Make her feel the wrath of the Iron Hammer of Kur!" she commanded with a voice filled with power, the spears of light slamming down and stabbing into Tiamat with such force the ground was shattered and the debris filled the air.

Tiamat's cry of agony soon followed as the sheer power of Ereshkigal washed over the Underworld, "Here in Kur, Tiamat is just another mortal." she declared, "An all out attack from me and the Gallu spirits will be enough for me to dispatch..." she went on to say only to stop as she witnessed something she never thought to be possible, "To dis..." she wavered and watched as a veritable wave of crimson mud, the chaos tide, wash out from underneath the Grimm and slam down on top of it and coat it in a protective layer of corrupting energy.

"What is she doing?!" Yang exclaimed.

"Is covering herself in mud!?"Ruby cried.

"Not good, it's the Chaos tide corruption!" Glynda cried through the communicators, "This is bad," she said as Tiamat writhed around in the massive wave of crimson mud, "At this rate, it'll overtake the whole Underworld if it spreads!"

Ereshkigal panicked, this wasn't right, this wasn't supposed to happen! She stumbled back a few steps, "What'd she say?! She can't do that can she?!" she questioned in shocked confusion, why was this happening?

Cinder was wide eyed with shock, "She's able to corrupt the Underworld!" she gawked.

"Yes, and that's not all." Glynda stated, "Her spiritual core is reverting back, it's already reached the time of the first age!"

"Spirit inflation has halted!" Cinder declared, "Her magic core has rebooted as well!" she said in shock.

"And the wounds she sustained in the fall are healed as well!" Glynda declared, her eyes widening as a new reading emerged on screen, "She's morphed into a new Super Grimm, draconian in nature. More defensible and powerful than her origin form." she said, Tiamat's roar filling their ears, "The creature before you is undoubtedly a God in itself!" Glynda cried in horror.

Team RWBY shook in fear, there was no way, how, just how was this possible!?

"It's all over if a wave of the chaos tide lands! YOU HAVE GOT TO HOLD IT BACK SOMEHOW!" Cinder cried out.

Ereshkigal swallowed nervously as she put her lance ahead of her, "I'll give it my best shot." she decided, "I'll do whatever I can, but the corruption alone is already too overwhelming!" she cried out as she watched the crimson wave approach, she could try but what could a lone deity do?

"Ereshkigal!" Yang cried out to her, drawing her attention, "You stay focused on Tiamat!" she said as she stood next to Blake.

"She's right, we'll take care of things here!" the Faunus declared.

Ereshkigal stumbled once more, "Look, I appreciate the gesture, but Kur's energy output as a whole is dropping!"

"If we don't win this, there's no plan b!" Glynda told her, "I'm not entirely sure, but If I'm right, then Tiamat is at her weakest right now!" she told her.

Cinder leaned down and nodded, "We have to defeat her before she escapes the Underworld!" she agreed, massive thunderous steps filled the air as Tiamat approached them.

The Chaos tide bubbled as the deity approached, but Ereshkigal was prepared, "Alright Ereshkigal, it's time to work!" she cried, only for the goddess to gasp as a massive wave of the crimson mud washed up and over the whole group, there wouldn't be enough time to block it to save them. However, the most surprising thing occurred just as it was about to touch them, a wave of flowers fell before them, and the group gasped in shock as the tide faded away into thin air, "W-What happened?" Ereshkigal asked in confusion, "What is this?"

"H-Hang on... the Chaos Tide is detoxifying itself, and at a rapid pace!" Glynda said in shock, "The Lahmu emittance is at zero as well!" she told the group in surprise. This was good, very good in fact, "If this is true, then what you're seeing is just-" she stopped as she, and in extension the small group of Huntresses, gasped in shock.

"Can it be?" Team RWBY gasped in shock, a loud cry filling the air as a figure landed beneath them

"Alright then, I made it in time!" a familiar voice called out as he stood up to his full height, "And it seems my plan 'If mud births life, then change it to something harmless' is a success!" he smiled at the young women.

"PROFESSOR OZPIN!?" the girls exclaimed, somewhat happily, somewhat shocked.

"WHAT!?~OZPIN!?~" Glynda cried out in surprise, "How can you be there, you're dead!? Did you reincarnate yourself again? No, no, no, no, that can't be right, Angelica broke your curse when she killed you!" Glynda panicked.

"There's no need to panic, I cast a spell on myself when Angelica broke my curse that would re-summon myself from the exact second when she cast her own spell upon me. In essence, I used a time regression spell and hid myself from sight." he explained.

"You what?!" the girls exclaimed.

"You heard me." the old man smirked, "As I am not fond of saying goodbye to those I am close with, I decided to cheat the system a bit." he explained as he caught a flower in his hand, "As I am a incredibly skilled mage as well as a knight, I do enjoy the bolstering of my skills, so you may praise my excellence." he joked as he winked at the young women.

"Professor, you're amazing!" Ruby said happily.

"Thank you Ruby." Ozpin smiled.

"Um...Professor, I don't know how to break this to you... but Naruto... he-he didn't, he didn't... make it." Weiss sighed sadly.

Ozpin closed his eyes, "I know child, I know. He fought valiantly until the very end, and I am glad he stuck to his convictions as long as he breathed. He was too good for this world, but he is in a better place." he said softly as he remembered the blond little boy who would always swap his coffee for decaf.

~XxX-Elsewhere; Unknown Location-XxX~

He opened his eyes and looked around in confusion. The air around was dark, the only form of light was coming from the manifestation of blue flames locked within little cages around him. He sat on a stone chair, a leg crossed over his knee. He was wearing his outfit from earlier and nothing else could tell him what was happening. He wore an open blue vest with red trimmings around the collar and edges along the chest. He wore a pair of red pants with a large solid gold belt around his waist. He had a gold glove on his right hand while the other was bare, a gold necklace around his neck and a pair of gold earrings. Head nothing on his chest, and across his shoulders were large cross-shaped tattoos inked in purple/blue ink. Red eyes peered around curiously as he took in his surroundings.

"Cinder?" he called out, seeing if he would get some form of response from his lover. When it was apparent he wouldn't get one, he sighed as he rested his hand on his cheek, "Ah yes, when the king awakens from his slumber he finds himself in the depths of Kur." he said calmly. However, his eyes snapped open and he stood on his feet with a frustrated growl, "This is no time for jokes!" he declared, "I know for a fact that I'm dead! What the hell is going on?!" he cried out.

~XxX-xxXXxx-Back with the others-xxXXxx-XxX~

"The decrease in Kur's Magic output has stopped!" Ereshkigal said happily, "That means-" she went to say, only to stumble back as Tiamat stomped on the ground.

"Hold on." Ozpin said, "Looks like we'll have to hold off the celebrations." he said calmly. Tiamat growled, unknown protrusions rising out of her back and quickly taking a familiar shape of spiked wings.

"Uh oh. Tiamat has deployed horned wings!" Glynda stated.

"She can fly again!?" Blake cried out.

"After all that?" Ereshkigal exclaimed from behind her.

"Unbelievable." Yang grumbled out.

"Salem gave life to what she thought would be the manifestation of her sadness and grief. However, what she actually created was something far worse." Ozpin said, "She has unveiled her true nature." he told them, arcs of blue lightning striking against Tiamat's body, "It is clear what this thing truly is! Goddess of Creation is merely a fictional title bestowed upon the Grimm by Salem in death so as to scorn those who wronged her in life." he told them.

Meanwhile, soaring down the dark chasm she had created, Ishtar was very worried, "Oh please, please let me make it in time!" she pleaded.

"This is the great catastrophe most denied by humans, left behind by the humans known as one of the seven evils." Ozpin stated, "The Beast embracing the natural order of regression! Tiamat the Dragon of Hell!" Ozpin called out.

Tiamat snarled at Ozpin, planting her foot down with incredible force, just as Ishtar came soaring into the Underworld, "What the-what is that?" he asked in shock.

"She's going to take off!" Glynda told them, "If she reaches the surface, the defense mechanism here won't work!" she explained, "What's worse is she'll become invincible once more and will truly be unable to die!"

"Ruby, Yang, Girls." Ozpin said drawing their attention, "The journey that each of you endured has been the wildest you have ever seen." he stated as he gazed at the approaching Grimm, "And this Grimm is the strongest adversary you have or will ever encounter in your life." he said, "Two goddesses trying to ground her, a pitfall into the Underworld with Beacon as the bait, The Chains of Heaven entrusted to us by Angelica, The punishment of Kur itself. And, my flowers, beautiful if nothing else." he sighed, "All of us have attempted every tactic under the sun to even reach this point." he told them.

"But it's still not enough." he grunted, Tiamat's footfalls thundering through the Underworld, "This monster knows no fear, has no natural enemy." he declared, "It is unfamiliar with he whom I call Death." he growled, and meanwhile, above the group, a black cape fluttered through the air behind a unknown individual. Ozpin gazed ahead unwavering, "It wasn't my son, nor even Angelica who was bound to his soul at birth. The one who called upon him was none other than you, Weiss Schnee." he said, shocking the young woman, who pointed at herself in disbelief.

"Me/Weiss?!" the girls all exclaimed as Ozpin nodded

"The evils of humanity are a beast, the conditions were special and needed special requirements to be met in order for us to call upon him in this realm. A guardian meant to stand against the beast and give us the perfect opportunity to defeat it. in other words, A Guardian Deity!" he declared, causing everyone who was listening to him to gasp in shock, "So girls, every battle you went through has all had a purpose." he explained, while the hidden individual stabbed a dark menacing blade into the ground before him, "Now, look up at the sky, Primordial Sea!" Ozpin declared, "There you will behold the very face of your own death!" he roared out as he challenged Tiamat.

The girls all gasped as they looked up much like the Grimm as they beheld the dark cloaked figure above them, but the familiar voice caused Weiss to gasp in shock, unknowingly covering her mouth as she set her eyes upon him for the first time since she was a little girl.

"All that begins must come to an end. So, too, all that lives, dies, and finds value. Thy vaunted eternity thou covets is nothing more than a hollow slumber. Beast of Disaster, evil born of mankind's folly, thy desperate wish that thy love not go unrequited," he declared as a immense amount of aura surrounded him, followed by a seamless explosion of Semblance activating, revealing a armor of ebony colored ice across his body and a white mask in the shape of a skull upon his head, and claws of ice sitting upon the hilt of the blade, a powerful mist of cold surrounding him in a veil of death, "shews thy rejection's root. Thou fallen god, to beast-hood turned, if Primordial Mother be thy title, thou shalt know mine! From the mountain abyss I come, only death do I bring. I am the Old Man of the Mountain, the King of Winter and Night King, I am Nicholas Schnee!" he boldly declared.

As he stood above Tiamat, Ozpin was constantly having his spell counter the tide of corruptive mud, pushing back against the destructive force. Nicholas Schnee gazed into the furious eyes of his enemy as she snarled at him, "Touch not the sky, for by heavens will..." he stated, brandishing his sword up in front of him, Tiamat striking with a viscous series of magic beams flying from her eyes at the man, the ground exploding as they struck the ground, missing their target as he leapt out of the dust, "I strip thee of thy wings!" he called out in a snarl, Tiamat growling as she unleashed a larger barrage at the elder Schnee, missing twice, but in a shocking display, the third was sliced through with extreme ease as Nicholas projected a blade of Aura ahead of him and used his Semblance to cut the energy apart.

Pushing through the beams, he raised his blade up over his head, and sliced the air. A large illusion of a demonic eye appearing before Tiamat before Nicholas landed on the ground next to her, only to leap up as a even more demonic skull manifested itself around him, and roared as Nicholas sliced into Tiamat's flesh using his Semblance to birth the one thing no mortal had the right to command. The Concept of Death, born unto one with no meaning of dying.

Mortallizing the Immortal.

BA-THOOM~

The slice was made, the branding complete, she was mortal now, and there was no taking it back!

Bright cracks of blue energy rip across Tiamat's flesh, engraving themselves across her entirety, and with them the ultimate escape, "Look!" Glynda gasped as she read her monitor.

"T-Tiamat has learnt the concept of death!?" Cinder exclaimed in shock, "Glynda, this is it!" she said happily, they had done it.

"Alright girls, you gotta hurry!" Glynda exclaimed into the microphone, "If you act now, you can completely destroy the Beast!" she told them seriously.

"Right then, let's do this!" Weiss declared.

"Together, as one!" Ruby said, shoving her fist into the air.

Ishtar nodded as she flew out over Tiamat, "I'll take the first shot, leave it to me!" she said, preparing her attack, and unleashing great and powerful explosions that caused Tiamat to cry out, her vulnerability making her more susceptible to pain than ever before.

Ozpin grinned happily as he rotated his cane in his hands and transformed it into a staff, "Alright then, I'll strike next!" he declared, a powerful beam of light falling from the sky above that hit with incredible force, causing Tiamat to stumble back a step as she cried out in frustration more so than pain.

Ereshkigal didn't want to be left out and called upon a cage filled with an unknown energy, "I'll help out as well!" she stated, the ground beneath Tiamat igniting in a wave of black flames that engulfed Tiamat's body, true agony washing over the massive Grimm as the Goddess of Kur unveiled her wroth.

Explosions of light, blasts of fire, and beams of fire filled the air as the trio unleashed wave upon wave of attacks on Tiamat without relenting. The icing on the cake, was Nicholas Schnee himself as he stabbed his blade deep into the eye of Tiamat and unleashed a prevailing blast of killer icicles which quickly spread across Tiamat's body and hardened as soon as they touched air, another slice-BA~THOOM, and a section of her wing fell to the ground with a crash as the Grimm cried out. A beam of energy shot out from Tiamat's recovering eye, and Blake leapt in front of it and brandished the final gift from her friend and imbued it with Aura, a barrier of energy taking the brunt of the impact as the beam exploded behind her and Weiss.

Ereshkigal waved her hand, conjuring up a dozen blades of crimson energy, and with a cry she hurled them at Tiamat, "Crimson Thunder of Kur!" Ereshkigal declared as the spears of energy stabbed into Tiamat's side and exploded with enough force to shake the Underworld to its core. Ishtar was firing blast after blast, the golden disks of energy slamming into Tiamat's face with no remorse.

Tiamat's growl filled the air as she halted while Ishtar smirked happily, "How's that?" she demanded. However, her answer came in the form of Tiamat reaching towards the wall and pulling herself up, "Not good, she's trying to get to the surface!?" she exclaimed.

"We won't let her!" Yang called out.

"Come on!" Ruby called as she and her friends took to the air, seeing as they were ghosts and could fly, and gave chase. Ozpin was quick to follow as he cast a spell upon himself and was right behind his students.

Quickly taking aim with his staff, the Headmaster began unleashing a barrage of attacks at Tiamat, trying to force her to let go, but the beast wasn't having it and continued to climb, pushing through the pain being inflicted upon her. Ishtar was working alongside him as well, trying to shoot her in places that were susceptible to great amounts of pain, the eyes, stomach and hands, but nothing was working to bring her down. Add onto the fact that she began spewing more mud from her wings and it added onto the trouble they were already having in slowing her down.

"Look out!" Blake warned.

"Don't let it touch you!" Weiss exclaimed.

Flying around the wave of deadly mud, and landed on an outcropping, Nicholas stood ahead of the group to keep watch on the massive monstrosity as it continued to climb ever higher above them. Ereshkigal cried out in horror, "No, my Underworld!" as she felt her heart sink watching her home fall apart.

"What now?" Yang asked as she looked at the rising mud pit.

And as if things weren't bad enough, the Lahmu had returned once more to the field as they rose up from the mud. One even flew up and hovered ahead of the group, and then Blake cried out as she leapt in front of it, "Yang!" the Faunus cried as it impacted the massive shield. The two young women were thrown back from the amount of force, but Ozpin was quick to react and unleashed a blast of magic that killed the Lahmu where it collapsed as soon as it was struck.

"Okay!" Ishtar said as she went to charge, only to gasp as she was forced to dodge a speeding Lahmu as it leapt at her, "How's it going so fast?!" she exclaimed in shock, the Lahmu speeding around her, and then striking, only missing her as she brought her weapon before her body. Two more rose up from the mud, giving a laugh as they seemingly gazed upon their prey beneath them. Ishtar sighed as she looked at the Lahmu, "What a bother." she moaned out before looking to her sister, "Ereshkigal, you, Yang, Blake and Weiss prevent the beast from climbing up any further. Ozpin, Ruby, Old Man Schnee and myself will take care of the Lahmu!" she called out, "Divide and conquer!"

~XxX-On the Surface-XxX~

He breathed raggedly, his life was fading, but he had to act, he had to help them. The darkness surrounding him doing nothing for his already fading life. Placing his hand into the puddle of blood, he surged all the power he had in his body, everything his spirit had to offer, anything his soul could call upon.

A glowing circle of gold energy surrounded him and he watched as a cloud of gold particles filtered down from the sky above him before a familiar face, exactly identical to his own stared down at him, "Save them... and end that bitch's reign of terror." he whispered out to the man as he collapsed into the puddle of blood, "End the age of the gods... and let mankind... find its way... without us..." he said as his head fell to the ground, "Watch over them for me... and ensure nothing... happens...to...them..."

"I will. They will see the dawn of victory, just like we told them." the unknown spoke before he made his way towards the hole in the ground. Jumping over a pile of rubble, he made his way deeper into the depths of the Underworld to show them what his true strength would look like now that he had gathered it all back.

~XxX-With the group-XxX~

"Alright, you can count on us!" Yang called out.

Ozpin stared at the surrounding Lahmu, "Well, we need to be careful." he told her, "These Lahmu, I guess you could say these are the new version of the Grimm and Tiamat is the new Salem." he grunted, "Not good." he stated nervously.

These creatures were much stronger than they looked.

"We can worry about that later. Let's work together to hold them back!" Ishtar stated.

Ozpin shrugged as he grabbed a piece of his staff and pulled it out to reveal a sword, "Alright, then your wish is my command!" he declared as he threw it at one of the Lahmu, a billow of smoke filling the air while the other group charged at Tiamat.

The Lahmu seeing the second group chase Tiamat, went to charge. However, this was interrupted when Ishtar literally slammed her massive weapon into them, "You're not getting past us!" she cried out. With a wave of her hand, she unleashed a barrage of golden beams that chased after a Lahmu before exploding violently against the side of the incredibly tall wall that led to the base of the Underworld. Soaring around a large rock outcropping, Ishtar grunted as a Lahmu slammed into her and sent her back a few feet, "Dammit!" she exclaimed in frustration. However, as she looked up she took note of the fact she was surrounded by the Lahmu, "You really are a persistent lot, I'll give you that." she stated.

At the same time, Tiamat let out a cry as she continued to pull herself up the wall. She was almost there. Ereshkigal looked to the others, "I'll find a way to stop her somehow!" she told them. With a cry, Blake leapt out in front of the goddess and struck a Lahmu that had snuck up on them. However, two more came out at the same time and began attacking the Cat Faunus in tandem, forcing Blake to use all her skills to evade and counter them. And with a strike, Blake was knocked into a wall.

At the same time, Ishtar hit the ground in a crouch as she growled in anger, "Dammit!" She grunted looking up at the Lahmu who hit her, and then jumped out of the way as it hit the ground and cratered it in an explosion of stone and dust. Blake was pulled back so Yang could imbue her Aura into her to try and help her recover a bit from a major strike to her shoulder. It was looking bad, they were outnumbered and outgunned, at this point it was starting to look hopeless.

"I think we're in a lot of trouble." Ereshkigal muttered as she noticed the Lahmu beginning to gather in front of her and her friends.

Having recovered, Ishtar had given chase to a small group of the Lahmu, and so far they were running circles around her with their sheer speed. Ozpin grunted as he stabbed a Lahmu in the gut, then cut its head off before striking with a bolt of magic energy to kill it for good. Leaping back from a striking Lahmu, Ozpin grunted as he was overcome with an energy surge blasting off his new enemy, "This energy... it's almost divine in nature..." he stated with a puff of breath, "Alright guys, allow me to handle this next part!" he called to Ishtar and Ruby, "You know, I always wanted to say something like that." he muttered to himself.

"What the heck are you saying?" Ruby asked in confusion.

"What are you talking about?" Ishtar asked him.

"Alright, for now I shall utilize my true field of expertise." he said, conjuring up a sword in a golden flash of light. With a sudden flash, he appeared in front of a Lahmu, and swung the blade, cutting the demon's head off. With a snarl, another Lahmu darted at the knight/wizard and tried to strike him down, but the blade clashed with the Lahmu, clangs of the sword filled the air as Ozpin put his skills of the sword to use. Blocking the Lahmu, he held it in place as he smiled at the demonic being, "Surprisingly enough, swordsmanship isn't my true skill." he said as his staff glowed and blasted the Lahmu to a bundle of flowers, "Ah yes, I recall Autumn falling for this trick quite often." he reminisced happily.

Nearby, Ishtar cried out as she was struck down from the sky and sent sliding across the ground before she came to a stop where she was lying on her back. A Lahmu landed in a crouch over her, scaring the goddess something fierce, "No! Get away!" she cried as she blasted it with a bolt of magic, but not before it kicked her. Another landed next to her, stomping down on her stomach while knocking the breath out of her. The Lahmu reached down, picking her up by her hair, punching her in the gut, then threw her away where she crashed into a wall and collapsed to the ground.

Silently, a glowing sword was raised, drawing the attention of the Lahmu as it burned brightly. With a swing, the Lahmu were freed of their heads as Nicholas walked over to Ishtar to help her up, "Approach not these foes." he told her, "If these creatures are truly the offspring of a primordial being, thou shalt akin them to the heads of the demon gods." he warned her. With a spin, he blocked a Lahmu trying to remove his head, a swing protected his heart, another removed the head of the Lahmu in question. A spin struck out and blocked the arm of a Lahmu, the next cut it apart. Swinging down he cut the earth apart and the Lahmu behind him in twain.

A Lahmu lashed out with a kick causing the old man to stumble back, and a barrage of purple energy beams struck him in the most vital places across the rather than bleed, his wounds manifested dark blue wisps of aura mixed with the inky blackness of the abyss, reeking of demise. The old man's eyes which had once been dim, blazed with the fury of a thousand cries of horror, vying for the blood of its enemies.

Continuing her climb, Tiamat could finally see the hole which she had been dropped into, a cry of victory sounding from her jaws. Yang gasped in horror, "Oh no, I can almost see the surface!" she exclaimed.

"I'll stop her with my Authority and Semblance!" Ereshkigal cried out.

The girls gasped as a Lahmu appeared, and lashed out with an elastic arm, forcing Blake to block it. The ring of the metal filled the air, but seconds after the very arm that struck the shield had wrapped around it and began to swing her around, causing the Faunus to cry out in shock. Yang looked to her friend in horror, "Blake!" she cried out before she chased after her as she was slammed into a wall.

Ereshkigal looked from Blake to the Lahmu, watching as it pulled its arm back undoing the strange elasticity it once had, and watched as it gave chase to her fellow blond, but was captured by a series of crimson energy waves, "I won't let you do what you want in my Underworld!" Ereshkigal snarled at it, her hands glowing with ethereal power.

The Lahmu grunted in pain, trying to force its escape from the divine bindings placed upon it, but in the end it was left no choice but to attack Ereshkigal with a series of purple energy blasts. The bolts of magenta energy struck Ereshkigal and forced her to crash into a wall, another struck the cliff above it, the next to nearly struck Yang and one managed to hit her on the shoulder causing the blond to cry out in pain as she tackled Blake out of the way of the final blast. All the while, Tiamat continued her ascension towards the surface, her growls becoming more and more gleeful as she climbed higher and higher.

Ozpin was lashing out with his magic, keeping several Lahmu at bay, Nicholas was cutting down Lahmu by the dozens as he protected his descendant from harm. Ishtar was struggling to sit up from the series of hits dealt to her by a Lahmu group, and it was starting to look hopeless. They were near the surface, and they had yet to make a significant impact on Tiamat in any way shape or form, Yang grunted as she sat up and cradled Blake, "The way this is going... the beast will..." she gasped in exhaustion, blood flowing down her forehead.

The Lahmu surrounding her and the others laughed, the annoying laughter that mocked them nigh constantly. However, this laughter was interrupted when a pair of swords shot down from the skies above. Two swords planted themselves into the skulls of two vastly different Lahmu's where they collapsed to the ground. Weiss, Ruby, Blake, and Yang all gasped as they witnessed the attack kill several more Lahmu. And then, a raining salvo came crashing down upon the ground, forcing the six other Lahmu away, dozens of golden swords impaling the ground with a sound akin to a machine gun.

"Why do you all have such long faces?" a familiar voice called out, demanding to be heard by all below, drawing their gazes up.

They couldn't help but gasp.

Weiss nearly began crying, but the fact she was so happy to see this figure made this so much better.

Ruby had a extremely happy look as did Yang and Blake, the figure above was definitely a sight for sore eyes.

Standing above them was a figure, no less than thirty disks of golden energy prepared and ready to unleash anything behind him. Tiamat gave a roar and the newcomer narrowed his eyes before snorting as he unleashed a veritable rain of swords came crashing down upon the demonic Grimm causing it to cry out as hundreds upon thousands of blades were impaled into its flesh, the weapons vanishing into golden dust seconds after only for a thousand more to stab into the creatures flesh once more. No part of the beast was spared the newcomers' wrath as everything was stabbed into Tiamat's face, hands, her chest, arms and legs, and very wings. Even the ground was ripped apart where it caused her to slide further back down the wall, a rain of dust and stone. Swords, axes, lances, daggers, anything and everything that could or would stab, pierce, impale-it was all there raining hell down upon the massive creature.

The collective gathering of all mankind's weaponry was finally taking its due, drawing the blood that had been innocently spilled tenfold for what this monstrosity had taken from it, and done rightfully so. After having suffered nothing but defeat upon defeat, the fallen people of Remnant all had gathered in the collection of weapons gathered by one person so as to receive their own pound of flesh. The Grimm cried out in pain, letting go of the wall it was climbing and wailing as it was shoved back dozens of feet in an instant, the vast collection of weapons continuing to rain down upon it in a veritable machine gun-like manner at the speed of lightning itself.

The newcomer smiled in glory, and his visage revealed that it was none other than, "I've come to lend a hand! Servant Archer, Naruto, Lord of the Dawn and King of Heroes!" he declared his identity, "I had to see what the racket was about!" he told them as they took in the sight of how he had already crossed his arms over his chest, a familiar yet wide grin on his face.

"Your highness!" Ruby called out happily.

"But... you look different!" Yang noticed. Which was true, he wasn't in the outfit he had been wearing when they had been on the top of the academy.

He was wearing no shirt, he had crimson crisscrossing tattoo's across his arms and sides, he had golden armor on his legs with a red cape attached to it and he only had one hand covered in armor. His eyes... they bled red with power and his golden hair was wild in appearance.

Back with Glynda gasping in shock as she typed rapidly into the computer, "Naruto, m-my boy...how is he there, he was dead wasn't he?" she asked, hoping he had managed to recover enough to join the fray once more before she gasped in surprise when she finally read the computer screen and came to understand what was wrong with what she was hearing, "Wait, this energy Naruto's giving off, it's all spiritual!" she said in complete shock, "H-He's a soul!" she cried out.

She couldn't help but nearly sob in amazement, her hand coming to cover her mouth in surprise. Her baby had literally pulled his own soul from the afterlife to fight for humanity and its continued survival.

"Did he just appear or did he do something that called upon his spiritual self?" Cinder asked in awe.

Tiamat snarled in rage and released a scarlet beam of destruction at Naruto, however the man was more than prepared and unleashed a golden beam of energy that slammed into the demon's own and split it apart where it crashed around him, some debris managed to catch him and give a small cut to his chest and drew blood.

"Stay alert. Do not take your eyes off her!" Ozpin called out as they turned back to the demonic dragon. And he was right, for at that moment, Tiamat's entire body began to unleash vast amounts of steam across her body, and with a growl, she opened her eyes. A thick pulsating sound emitting from her followed by a spreading dome of gray energy that quickly engulfed her and continued to spread, the earth was ripped apart as massive chinks of stone now floated freely around her. Ozpin was filled with horror at the sight of this growing field of energy, "T-There's no way!" he said in shock.

"Wait a second, what is this?" Glynda demanded as she typed as fast she could into her keyboard.

"The energy readings show she's alternating reality somehow, like an inversion of all things." Cinder read.

Naruto, standing above all of them had a dour expression... so... she was using that was she... well then, it's a good thing they had their own aces up their sleeves.

Ozpin however, spoke in a extremely foreboding tone, "This in't an inversion dear child... This is... the creation of the Universe itself. Nega-Genesis." he stated, drawing gasps from the surrounding people.

Another pulse filled the air, and the stone Tiamat had ripped up suddenly vanished into dust, the Lahmu that were caught within turning to nothingness as the dome expanding around her in all directions. However, if Tiamat thought they were hapless before her might, she had another thing coming. Ereshkigal's voice filled the Underworld as she raised her spear overhead, "A sea in the heaven's, and prison on land! My wrath is the wrath of Kur itself!" Ereshkigal declared, a massive pillar of flame shooting up from the depths of the Underworld, quickly followed by more to the point it surrounded the dome, "Now reveal yourself, oh scorching shrine!" she declared as she slammed her spear down, "Kur Kigal Irkalla!" she cried as the earth roaring as it began to burst up from underneath Tiamat, the dragon crying out as it was pulled down, the stone piling upon her body and pinning her across every inch of her body.

This also had the effect of not only immobilizing the Beast, but forced the expansion of the energy dome to stop as well. Ruby and the others were astounded, "I-It stopped!" Weiss blinked.

"Ereshkigal, that's amazing!" Yang agreed.

Naruto walked down to join them and nodded, "Not bad. You summoned the shrine that was gifted to you by your old husband Nergal." he noted, "It is a fitting ace up your sleeve, but it isn't meant to last, is it?" he questioned as the goddess nodded.

"Yes, it is only temporary." she stated, "And your right, I hate to say this, but this only buys us a little time." she huffed.

"What do you mean?" Blake asked.

"The area of space which Tiamat has summoned is corrupting anything and everything it touches. And... not only that... it's powerful enough to destroy the Underworld itself." she sighed.

"Oh no..." Ruby said in worry.

"Professor, what exactly is Nega-Genesis?" Yang asked.

"Oh, she is trying to overwrite the Underworld so it can suit her needs." he stated.

"Overwrite?" Yang asked uncertainly.

"If you get caught in that expanding field of energy, it's over." Ozpin grunted.

"T-That level of Authority is insane!?" Ishtar balked.

Naruto hummed as he looked to Blake, and smirked, so she still had it after all, "Hey Blake!" he called out.

"O-Oh, yes?" she responded.

"We're gonna need that one time use from your shield to counter that damned bounded field of hers." he stated, "I recall that the original shield was designed from the chalk castle that a certain king once loved." he informed her, "The materialization of such a place might be able to rival that thing." he said calmly.

"You want to slam a defensive bounded field into the destructive bounded field Tiamat is unleashing, are you nuts!?" Ishtar asked in shock, did he want to kill all of them!?

Blake gasped. That's right... she hadn't used the Shield's true name yet and as such, could even call upon its full potential. Was it really that powerful to hold something as strong as Tiamat's power back though.

"Wait, even if it works that means-" Weiss went to say only for Ozpin to interrupt, "Yes, while Blake is holding her ground, we will have to hit the Beast with a killing blow." he confirmed, "But, only one of us can make the journey." he stated causing the others to gasp in shock, "Nega-Genesis overwrites that which already exists as an established form of life like Ishtar and Ereshkigal or even Naruto by trying to create new life within its space. Therefore, only those who are truly alive can exist within its domain." he told them.

The group couldn't say anything. It was a suicide mission... and even if they did succeed, they would probably die anyways...

"I'll go..." Yang said, stepping forward.

Naruto smirked, "She won't be able to move while the shrine is deployed." he said opening a portal and dropping a golden dagger into his hands before tossing it to Yang, "Here, take this with you, a blow to the head should suffice as it does with all things." he preened.

Ereshkigal looked worried, "B-But, my power wont protect her when she is inside!" she exclaimed.

"In that case, I'll cast a spell to help. When Blake deploys her shield, I'll pave a path for you." Ozpin stated.

"Yang... P-Please." Ruby shook her head at the blond.

"Rubes, don't worry, I'll be fine. Trust in me, as I trust in each of you." she told her sister before looking to Blake, "Do your best, and trust that I will see this through my Bellabooty girl." she smirked as Blake rolled her eyes in humor.

The Earth shook, the shrine began to crack and crumble, Tiamat's power was growing...

Ereshkigal grunted, "My Shrine won't hold her back much longer!" she exclaimed, "Please, hurry!" she begged.

A magic sigil appeared under Ozpin, growing and expanding around him as he called upon his ancient power, "From the stars of the inner sea, and the tower of insight!" he chanted.

"My true name revealed...I stand amid disaster!" Blake called out.

"From the four corners of paradise, let them know, their stories are filled with blessings. Only those free of sin may pass!" Ozpin said calmly, almost dreaming in his creation.

"That which heals all wounds, and heals all grudges, oh glorious homeland, materialize!" she chanted loudly, bringing the sheild up overhead, a roar from Tiamat shattered the Shrine, the field of energy now freely expanding once more, "SHOW YOURSELF, LORD CAMELOT~!" and the shield dissolved to a massive glowing plate of energy before her, a circular wall of white stone building up around her and her friends. The bounded field crashed into Blake's shield, a screech of grinding energy filled the air as it passed over it and continued to grow.

Ozpin smiled as he waved his staff, "Awaken, Garden of Avalon!" he cried, a field of flowers suddenly blossoming in the protected energy field of Blake's shield, and a path following the best route to reach the head of the Beast.

And with that, Yang began her run, shooting out of the field of energy and into the cursed bounded field. The path was paved, her journey to save the world begins, she knew what she had to do.

At the same time, Ereshkigal gasped, her body collapsing, "N-No, not yet..." she pleaded.

"Ereshkigal!" Ishtar, Weiss, and Ruby cried out as they rushed over to her.

"Are you alright?" Weiss asked in shock.

"What's wrong?" Ruby questioned

Ishtar looked at her sister and narrowed her eyes, "I knew that something was wrong with you." she said in shock.

"W-What? What is it?" Ruby asked.

"Can we heal her?" Weiss pleaded.

Ishtar ignored them as she held her sister, her body glowing as divine energy seeped out of her body, the golden glow signifying her divine rule slowly fading, "I can't believe you would go so far." she stated in frustration, "Breaking the Underworld's Taboo by assisting the living, converting your Authority into Semblance, there's no way you'll come out of this unscathed." she said in worry.

"D-Do you have a problem with that?" she spoke in a soft whisper, "I am the Mistress of the Underworld... I-I only took the option with the highest possibility of protecting my domain." she said with a snort.

"Not in your condition, what about the-" Ishtar went to say only for Ereshkigal to interrupt her, "I'll be fine, it's only my divinity. Who knows... maybe being a Mortal will be far more productive for me." she said happily, "I could care less about anything besides ensuring the balance is maintained, and when we reunite as divine, I hope its better than this... my real personality is much more gloomy." Ereshkigal told her.

Yang was running, the path leading her up a series of long stones that led to a large pathway before her, the dagger held in hand was her only hope.

"Wait, y-you're saying..." Weiss trailed off with wide eyes...

"Y-You've become..." Ruby shook with untold emotions.

Ereshkigal smiled as she picked up a hand full of the flowers in her hand, "Look at this, all these flowers blooming in my Underworld... I wish you could see it one day my love..." she said happily as the flowers blew away in a gust of wind.

Ishtar snorted, a small sad laugh, "You idiot, don't worry me like that." she said.

"I'm not going anywhere birdbrain." Ereshkigal snickered.

"It don't matter. But, I will say this, you actually scared me, dead-head." Ishtar hugged her closer.

Tiamat's roar filled the air as another pulse followed as Tiamat struggled to fully free herself from her prison. Yang was still running, the remnants of Ereshkigal's shrine were crumbling around her, forcing her to work more and more to make the climb up to reach Tiamat's head. The blond leapt across a large gap, barely managing to make it across. Meanwhile, Blake's bounded field was holding strong, and it would continue until she released it. A puddle of black mud wiggled around behind the group as a Lahmu took form from nothingness.

Ozpin gasped as he turned around, however, he needn't worry, for seconds later, a salvo of blades fell from above, Naruto's keen eyes taking in anything that didn't belong and eliminating all threats to the group with extreme prejudice. He cared not for these mud beings, they were simply a group of maniacal mongrels that annoyed him more than concerned him. Whips of the Lahmu's body began lashing out, but Naruto's Semblance was far quicker, blocking and striking the whips of mud before they posed any true harm to the others.

Yang was next to Tiamat's wing, growing closer to her fathead, she could see her menacing pink eyes glowering down upon her, a growl filling the air as they gazed at one another in the eyes. Tiamat's flesh wriggled, and a duo of Lahmu were born, shooting down at Yang, the blond diving out of the way as the ground beneath her was torn apart by their strike. The maniacal laugh from the Lahmu filled the air as Yang glared at them before standing up and grabbed the knife. She was nearly there, why did Tiamat have to make this so freaking difficult!?

However, she had no need to worry about the Lahmu, for a second after she had grabbed the dagger, heavy footsteps filled the air as a familiar voice spoke up, "If this be a horde of the dead, the battle must fall unto death itself!" Nicolas Schnee declared as he walked past the stunned blond. His body was covered in the injuries given to him earlier in the fight, signified by the bright blue fire seeping from his body as he strode past her. How was he here, when did he get here?

Hell, the better question should have been 'WHY?'

The answers were never revealed, for the Lahmu laughed once more and struck at Nicolas, lethal blows in their own right, but all that was seen were wisps of blue flame from the mans body. The Lahmu laughed, believing they had won against the old man, but it was actually quite the opposite, blue eyes blazed a thousand furies, before the laughter stopped, their laughs turning into confused grunts, and then, their bodies splattered the ground as he physically pulled them out of Tiamat's flesh, stomping down and crushing their heads, Yang's eyes were filled with shock.

"Permit me to dispose of this rabble. Thou shalt move on as one of the living." he ordered her, waving her off to continue her journey. The young woman nodded and took off, Nicolas snarling as he pulled another Lahmu down and pinned it with his weight, a bestial growl filling the air, his mouth rending its flesh apart as the feast began.

Yang pulled herself up a large rock with a grunt, barely grabbing the ledge of the one she had to limb. She was so exhausted, but, she still had to move! Pulling herself up, she rose again to charge ahead, leaping across three separate gaps, where she stumbled and fell. She grunted as she grabbed the knife, "I'm... almost... there!" she cried out in exhaustion. However, in a surprising move, Fou had suddenly appeared out of nowhere, a shrill cry of 'FOU~!'(1) filling the air as the animal's Semblance grabbed onto Yang and sling-shotted her off the rocks, over Tiamat, and straight down where Yang gave a shrill cry as she stabbed down.

Everything has stopped. Nobody moved, and nobody could breath. Naruto gazed at the Grimm, a unknown look on his face, Ruby, Weiss, Ishtar and Ereshkigal held one another. Ozpin had a hand on his staff, a unsure gaze on his visage. Blake had her eyes clenched as she maintained the barrier. Even old Man Schnee had stopped his rampage against the Lahmu to see what had happened.

As for Yang, she found herself falling through a white space, a unknown location unveiled to her just as she had stabbed Tiamat. As she came down and landed on the ground, she saw a figure, one tat was familiar to her, but... different at the same time. And, just as quick as it had begun, so too did it end... a massive cracking sound filled the air as Tiamat's bounded field cracked across its body, everyone gasping in relief as they understood what this all meant... they had won. The bounded field suddenly shrank before it shattered completely around Tiamat, the dragon more vulnerable than ever now.

A snarl from Tiamat filled the air as she roared; Yang fell through the air, her hair whipping around her as she approached the ground, "Naruto!" she cried out hoping he would hear her.

As he heard Yang's cry fill the air, Naruto gave a grin, "Looks like you've settled the score, Yang Xiao-Long." he said as he opened a portal. However, unlike his normal portal's opening up behind him, this one opened up next to his foot, and as this happened, blood red wisps of energy began to whirl around him, whipping his hair through the wind. The golden portal was larger than average, but something about it was not right. It gave off a powerfully ominous and primordial feel of power unlike any other... and whatever he was summoning... was stronger than any mortal blade could hope to be.

It has an abnormal shape that doesn't match what would normally be classified as something specialized like a sword. It is something that was born before the appearance of the concept that the world calls a "sword," so it is not something that can truly be called a sword or have the shape of any known blade. While it has a grip, hand-guard, and is the same length as a longsword, the section that should contain a blade deviates from the normal form of an edged weapon. The "blade" itself and the tip of the sword, spun in a spiral shape, are dull.

It has the shape of a cylindrical, drill-shaped pillar made up of three independently rotating segments engraved with crimson cuneiform lettering that spin slowly in an alternating direction like querns, the middle segment spinning clockwise and the top and bottom segments spinning counterclockwise. Its three sections respectively represent the heavens, the earth, and the underworld. It exemplifies the world's way of being by having each one of them rotate in opposite directions. The "cosmos" is thus represented by matching all three of these representations.

Everything together represents the universe.

"I shall perform this final blow as a parting gift to you!" he stated seriously, "I will tell you of the beginning." Naruto said as he grabbed onto the weapon with his golden gloved hand, "Heaven and Earth split, nothingness congratulated creation, my Sword of Rupture cleaved the world!" he declared as the weapon was released from its confines, a deep unnatural hum filling the air as the swords sections began to spin. The sections of the blade were glowing, rotating faster and quickly filling to the brim with godly power. Crimson lightning arced off the weapon and powerful winds swirled around it with enough force to rip the earth apart. A deep thrumming cry of destruction quickly filled the air as the weapon was filled with unfathomable power.

Team RWBY watches with wide eyes, Weiss's jaw had dropped in shock at the sight of the weapon, and they couldn't help but marvel at the amount of power Naruto was releasing. The sheer strength surpassed that which he had shown in Beacon's final stand, but still he continued his declaration, "Mortar of the stars, heaven's hell, is the eve of creation's celebration!" Naruto chanted loudly as he raised it up over his head, the output of power increasing with each second as he did so, "Now you shall die and be silent~!" he roared out as the energy peaked once again before it all finally stopped growing and simply coalesced at the tip of the weapon to form what could only be called a golden sun, "Enuma Elish~!" Naruto roared, and he swung down.

And with this action, the unveiling of the world's first Noble Phantasm came to be. As he did so, a Gold/Crimson/White pillar of light exploded off the weapon with such force the world shrieks in agony as it engulfed Tiamat without mercy.

BBBBBWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAA-FFFFFFFFFFFFFFWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM~!~!~!

Borne of the winds drawn unto the revolution of the three cylinders of Ea, a spatial severance is formed by use of the Sword of Separation. Compressed and intertwined stratification of wind become a virtual dislocation of space-time, annihilating any who would stand in opposition. Performing the miracle of genesis itself, something that reveals creation - the beginning of everything, the attack opens an abyss capable of crushing anything.

The center of the storm is not calm, but rather a hole to hell itself that returns all that enters its realm to the nothingness from which it originated. The wind pressure creates a vacuum that takes all things with form, the land, the atmosphere, and the sky, into the whirling void. The tumult of genesis takes everything that was nothing more than chaos, which could not form any meaning, and creates a new truth that divides and distinguishes Heaven, Sea, and Earth. Within the darkness where everything is returned to nothingness, only Ea is left to shine with brilliance like a Star of Creation amidst the destruction, the first thing illuminating the new world.

And such is its power, Tiamat is left defenseless against the might of the Sword of Rupture and instantly ripped apart and turned to nothingness as the Grimm's body disintegrates to dust and the dust turns to molecules which are then erased from existence.

With the vanquishing of Tiamat, her body had broken down into particles of silver/gold light and filtered up towards the skies above as the Underworld collapsed around her former spot and beyond. Dawn had come and given birth to the newest day in which mankind no longer had to fear the monsters hiding in the woods. Clouds full of rain filled the skies across the distant lands, but at the moment, Team RWBY, Ozpin, and Fou could be found laying on the ground unconscious. Their weapons were incredibly damaged, but their purposes had been fulfilled at long last. A groan filled the air and Yang sat up, blinking in confusion, but gazing around she saw everyone else and felt elated to see they were all ok.

She turned and gently shook Ruby to rouse her, "Rubes. Ruby." she said, the young reaper groaning as she was roused from her slumber, "Time to wake up." she said softly.

"Yang?" Ruby asked sleepily, "What's going on?" she asked.

"Nothing, just glad to see you're alright." she told Ruby.

"Me too." she said as Yang helped pull her up before she quickly woke the others and got them to their feet.

"Where are we?" Weiss asked as she looked around, the ruins of various houses laying around them.

"Capital of Vale if I had to guess." Blake answered.

"Hey, looks like y'all finished your catnap." a familiar cheery voice called causing the small group to jump and turn in shock.

What they saw was a surprise, because walking up to them was both Jaguar Warrior and Quetzalcoatl who was without her headpiece. Jaguar was giving a polite wave as the two deities joined their mortal allies and dare they say, friend. Stopping a few feet from them the deity smiled, "What's up guys?" she asked.

"Wait a second, what are you doing here?!" Weiss asked in shock as the goddess smiled happily.

"Yes, hello, it's your all powerful and reliable big sister." Quetzalcoatl greeted with a wave and wink towards the snow haired teen.

"Come on ladies, let's head inside for a drink and you can explain it to us." Ozpin said motioning to a store nearby.

"So, I have to ask, were you the ones responsible for saving us?" Ruby asked curiously.

"Yea, but it was barely in the nick of time." Jaguar explained as she grabbed a soda and passed it to her before grabbing her own drink, "But if you want the truth I was a bit worried." Jaguar stated honestly.

"Thank you both very much." Yang told them, "You know, Quetzalcoatl, I'm glad I got to see you." she said happily.

Quetzalcoatl laughed nervously, "Yea, sorry for not making it back in time to help finish the fighting." she told her fellow blond.

"I'll say, it was a heck of a fight, you really missed out." Blake agreed happily.

"Still, we're glad to see that you both are alright." Ozpin told them.

"I think I shall take over the recounting of the amazing tale from here." Jaguar stated boldly, standing up tall, "So, there was this space debris thing that was streaking through the sky like a falling star, and so I said 'Oh that has to be Kuku' and so I'm like 'AAH~, i gotta catch her' where I ran across the mud and caught her at the last second, like the total boss I am, but because of the mud, we were on a nonstop slip-and-slide course towards the wall while on fire!" she said, the girls and Ozpin giving light laughs as she exaggerated some of the regaling of how she saved Quetzalcoatl, but hey, it was a well deserved victory, so they just let her have it.

When they had finally had their drinks, they made their way back towards Beacon, and by the time they arrived, it was well past dark and approaching morning once more. Anxiety was through the roof, but none of them could bring themselves to try and sleep as they laid eyes on the ruins of the former Academy they had attended what felt like a lifetime ago, and as it turned out, they had managed to contact Glynda with a stroke of luck, "Oh brother." the elder blond woman said through the Scroll, "Well, in any case, I'm relieved to confirm that all of you are ok at least." she was pleased with how it all went down.

"Sorry Professor for troubling you." Blake said apologetically.

With Glynda, Cinder sat next to her as she happily leaned over to speak when she could, "It's fine, You still have some time before you have to come to the bunker and help awaken everyone we had put into cryogenic stasis." the Fall Maiden told them.

"Well, if that's the case we could just look around." Quetzalcoatl said happily.

Walking up a staircase and onto the edge where Initiation for Beacon had once taken place, they took note of the broken glass windows, collapsed floor sections and even walls, the vast amount of damage exceeded more than they had thought. Looking out they were surprised that the area was clean, "Looks like the mud has fully receded." Ruby noted.

"Yea, with Tiamat defeated, my regression spell seems to have targeted the excess mud and broken it down, so we should be safe to walk around, which wasn't really needed since we were in town." Ozpin noted.

"Even before we met up with you here, we could tell from the state of the surface that you had won the battle against Tiamat." Quetzalcoatl said peacefully, "You defeated that monster. And with that, you saved the world of man." she told them, "And as much as I dislike it, seeing as I would have liked to stay longer, but this is as far as we can go." she spoke, causing the others to turn to her.

"What do you mean?" Ruby asked.

"It seems that my duties here as a goddess are finished." the deity stated as Jaguar stepped up next to her with a smile, "This is where we part ways now." she explained.

"I see." Ruby whispered silently, sadly.

"I'm glad we at least got to say goodbye to one another." Weiss said as the others joined the huddle and nodded in agreement.

"Such a sincere goddess, much more tolerable than the Brother God's I once knew." Ozpin said happily.

"Knowing each and every one of you has made me very, very, very happy." Quetzalcoatl said as she looked at each of them.

"Aww, Kuku is as soft as a kitten when it comes to humans. But I guess I can relate to that, you are so tasty to ea-ouch!" she cried as the blond goddess gripped her head with a tight grip of her hand, "I mean, we're forbidden from eating them now, really it's true, Jaguar's don't lie!" she stated, and as she was released, the two divine beings began to glow with golden particles of light.

"Well darn, looks we have to go now." Quetzalcoatl said disappointingly, "Guess it really is adios." she sighed. However, the goddess gave them all one last smile before she brought her newfound friends in for a hug apiece embracing them in friendship as she got ready to depart, "Keep up your courage, my dear friends." she told them, "I look forward to seeing how humanity goes from here, hopefully it'll be exciting enough to get the crowds roaring." she said happily.

"Thanks for everything." Ruby smiled at the fading deity.

"We couldn't have done this without you." Yang nodded.

"We will, take care." Weiss said happily.

Quetzalcoatl cried out happily as Jaguar gave a wave as she vanished into golden dust, the goddess jumping back as she laughed, "You know, I just love farewells like this." she said as she waved farewell to them.

And then, she too was gone.

"Let's head up, I'm sure we'll find something there." Yang said, pleased.

As they walked up to the stairwell so they could walk up the stairs to the higher levels, they were surprised to find Ishtar and Ereshkigal standing before the door waiting for them, "Sheesh, it took you long enough." Ishtar said.

"We were worried you wouldn't come say goodbye to us." the blond goddess smiled.

The girls and Ozpin all smiled happily at the sight of the two familiar faces, "Hello ladies." Ozpin greeted.

Walking up to the Headmaster's office, Ozpin lit a couple candles and poured some coffee, "We expected all of you to come back at some point, so we decided to wait here while you all had your look around." Ishtar explained when they were asked by a curious Weiss.

"That's great, I'm happy to see both of you coming out of that ordeal unharmed." Ruby said happily.

Ishtar laughed, "Well, I'm glad we were able to meet such high expectations." she joked as the others laughed with her.

"So, how much time do you have?" Ereshkigal asked.

"They're fine, we still have some things we have to do on our end before we have to have them come here." Cinder explained through the scroll.

"Awesome." Yang said happily as the blond goddess smiled.

"By the way, Ereshkigal, what happened to the Underworld?" Ruby questioned.

"It collapsed for the most part when Tiamat was killed in the final moments of the fight. It'll take centuries before it is fully restored." Ereshkigal said somewhat downtrodden, "But, I can't worry about it, seeing as I am no longer a divine being." she sighed, "It belongs to Ishtar now until I am reborn as a deity."

"That's right, you're mortal now, aren't you?" Weiss asked.

Ereshkigal nodded at her question, "Indeed, having given up my immortality for the time being, I was turned mortal for helping those of the living and breaking several taboo's of the Underworld. Though I should count myself lucky that I didn't die permanently." she told them.

"It's a bit unsettling, to think that both the world of the living and the world of the dead were almost destroyed by one entity." Cinder remarked as she sipped on some coffee, "Talk about daunting to think about if you ask me." she sighed.

"Of all the fights this world has endured, I can easily say that this was one unlike any other it's experienced." Glynda agreed.

"A evil of humanity. In all the time we fought, we never did find out her actual and true nature." Ozpin noted as he sipped on his coffee. Looking at Yang he hummed, "Yang, you touched upon her spirit in the final moments of the battle, did you learn anything perhaps?" he questioned curiously.

The blond placed a hand to her heart, "I did..." she answered honestly.

"That's perfectly fine, I'm glad that you did." he responded.

"So, Ishtar, what are you planning on doing now?" Blake asked.

"Well, I'm planning on raising my son with Naruto out in the countryside, when I'm not busy at least, seeing as the divine are no longer truly needed, I want to see what it's like to see what it means to live like a human, maybe I'll reap some amazing benefits from such an experience." she said as everyone perked up in surprise.

"You're pregnant?!" the girls squealed happily, "Congratulations!" Yang exclaimed.

"Hm-hm, it's not just me, Ereshkigal is pregnant too, twins I believe. A boy and a girl if what I'm sensing is correct. I tried to talk about it before when she collapsed but she stopped me." the goddess of fertility said, pleased with her assessment.

"So, Cinder isn't the only one providing me with adorable grandchildren, I must admit, as pleased as I am-I'm not all that shocked. Naruto does enjoy the company of those he calls friends, but I never expected two goddesses to provide me with some descendants." Ozpin admitted.

"So, what about you Ozpin, what are your plans?" Ereshkigal asked.

"I suppose I could stay with Glynda as her husband if she'll have me, but if not I'll return to the afterlife like I'm meant to. I should have been laid to rest ages ago." he stated somewhat pleased with either decision, "Truthfully, I actually wasn't even supposed to take part in the fight against Tiamat at all and broke a very serious taboo." he admitted to the young woman.

"You better not think about leaving me on my own here, you still have a lot of things you need to answer for with me, mostly on why you cheated death to simply help out in a fight we most certainly would have lost had our son not cheated the rules himself. Honestly, I knew I was right when I told you he got his cleverness from you." Glynda complained, "Not only that, but I'm sure our son's children will enjoy learning from their grandfather about what their father was like growing up." she finished.

"Then I shall gladly accompany you until we both leave this world once again, after all, I am no longer bound by the curse of the Brother God's any longer, so this is my final leg of life.." Ozpin smiled.

"We really are thankful for the help, Professor Ozpin." Weiss said honestly.

"Yea, I don't know what would have happened to us had you not come and helped us." Blake agreed as she nodded.

"You girls sure have grown a lot since you first came to my school, all of you would have made fine Huntresses had the Grimm simply remained as Grimm." Ozpin said happily as he gazed upon each of the girls, "I have been watching the four of you girls since you first came to Beacon, and the stories you've written are something I will always treasure. The tales I see and hear always excite me, though the ones I usually hear bore me, but it's the ones I have heard about from you will never not amaze me." he said happily to the young women.

"They are different." Ozpin said kindly, the memories of the young women who had entered his school full of excitement and hope, watching them grow and change as they learned what it meant to fight and rage the flames of war, "Everything I hear makes you look like travelers who journey from story to story, just as I do. However, the ways we approach them are very different. You four weave the stories together, to create the best possible ending. And as such, your actions are something I can truly appreciate." he nodded to the team of four.

"Yeesh, once again you go way overboard on your explanations Oz. You almost seem like a fan down there." Glynda said, "You need to remember that you basically crashed the stage and got into a large fight." she crossed her arms over her chest, "And need I remind you, that we still have to find and bury our son, who died in said fight that your ex started." she reminded, "And don't get me started, I have been run so ragged that I haven't even begun to mourn for our child, you will make it up to me, or else it's the couch for you." she stated.

"Yes, I know, but I want to stretch my legs just a little while longer before we do anything major like that dear." Ozpin sighed out softly.

"I understand... but I guess you really saved us this time." Glynda said softly, "You don't know how much this means to me, to everyone here at the bunkers. Despite all the things that have happened these last six months, you helping behind the scenes really changed this war into our favor even when we didn't know if we stood a chance." she stated.

"Yea, I agree with Professor Goodwitch, we really are grateful for the assistance down there." Weiss explained.

"You know, I think this war has made all of us grow in some fashion, and I am grateful for it. It showed me that sitting on the side doesn't change the outcome, it's what you do in the moment that defines the fight." Ozpin said as he held up a hand and conjured a flower, "Here. Take it." he offered it to Ruby as she took it from him.

"What's this for?" she asked, watching as Ozpin stood up.

"You can do what you like with it. It is a gift, from me to you." he explained, "And now, it is time for me to go join my wife, we have much to do, many people to help awaken and release from stasis, and as such, it is up to me to ensure they come out safe and sound." he said walking to the door and opening it before turning back, "Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, the saviors or Remnant...The champion's that none will ever remember for their deeds on this day. But, this battle I have shared with you, is one I shall always honor. May each of you have a good journey until the end of the line. When you know you can put down the blade and speak with the quill and rest easy knowing that the future will take care of itself without need of interference." he whispered.

Ozpin's body began to glow, "When that journey ends, oh how I pray that the skies be clear and bright for each of you." he said before he teleported away, the cries of Glynda and Cinder filling out through the communications, causing the girls to laugh happily as they heard Glynda wailing on the man, "OW!OW!OW!OW! GLYNDA STOP IT! WHAT'D I DO?!" he cried out.

"You know what you did, now take responsibility dammit!" The woman roared as she slammed something into him, causing the old wizard to cry out once again as Glynda unleashed her fury, the girls laughing as they heard the commotion.

"Come on, we need to head up to the roof, it's time..." Ishtar said as Ereshkigal nodded.

"W-What's on the roof?" Ruby asked.

"You'll see." the Goddess of Kur explained softly.

XxX-xxXXxx-XxX

"So, this is where you went?" a feminine voice asked him as he looked down across the crowd of celebrating people, a large bonfire burning in the center of the plaza. The man turned and smiled as he saw her approach.

It was Naruto and Angelica, dressed for the night of the party that had welcomed all the new teams into Beacon.

However, he stopped smiling as he saw her not smiling, "What's wrong, party not to your liking?" he asked her.

"No, the party will continue until morning." she told him, "I came up here to ask you something." she told him.

"What is it?" Naruto questioned.

"What made you decide to fight that Wyvern with just me, we both could have died. And, though it devastated the school grounds, you didn't do it for everyone else did you?" she questioned.

Naruto smiled at her, "Actually, it truly was to save Beacon Academy." he responded to her inquiry, "If I don't defeat such forces of evil, then innocent people will die." he told her honestly.

"But why you?" Angelica demanded.

Naruto blinked, "What do you mean?"

"Your attitude has brought a lot of suffering to not just the initial gathering of students, but your parents as well. You act as a tyrant to everyone you meet and belittle those you deem unworthy of your attention. And yet, at the same time, you still act as if you still care enough to truly know why they worry." she explained.

Naruto hummed, "Guarding's not the only way to protect." he responded as he crossed his arms, "Sometimes you need to go with the blowing of the wind. Establishing a safe and harmonious future is the duty of a king." he told her as he gazed at the party below,

"So, it's all up to you?" she said curiously.

Naruto nodded as he smiled softly, "That's right, I am a king, and therefore, I live as the king. Because of that I will play along with those who I deem meaningless, when in fact, they are the greatest treasure to possess, this is the greatest gift which allows them to shape their future all the way until the end of the world." he spoke truthfully.

"Hmm, well then." Angelica hummed, "Why not tell them your intentions?" she questioned, "At the rate you're going, you wont have anyone who understands your intentions. You'll be alone until the end..." she told him.

Naruto smiled softly as he turned back to her, "I'm not alone." he told her, "I'm telling my story to someone right now." he told Angelica, turning to face her, "Though, it's not exactly a story that can be told to the general populace." he snickered, "So I have rambled it to you, the only person who is just like me in both thought and body." he stated.

"Hmph, very well then. I am your tool, your weapon." she declared, "Tools need not the blowing of the winds, nor the warmth of the sun." she stated as she joined him in looking down on the party below, "Because of that, I will remain by your side until the world ends." she said.

"You're a fool." he said shocking her, the two turning to look at one another, "You're a fool." he said once again, "Live together and fight together." he declared, "That is no longer human nor tool." he told her, "Angelica, listen." he said deeply, "You are..."

and the memories faded away as he heard it...

With the opening of the hatch, a pair of eyes opened as he heard shocked gasps from behind, "King Naruto, it's really you, you're okay!" Ruby's voice exclaimed happily.

"You are rather late, Team RWBY." Naruto said, watching as the group walked in with happy smiles, "To long a nap is bad for one's health." he explained, "Though, seeing as I am not here in the physical sense, I guess it doesn't really matter." he said, watching the girls gain looks of confusion, sans Ereshkigal and Ishtar.

"You know, if you are so worried about that, you should have just come to us. Honestly, letting your pregnant lovers make such a journey is very dangerous for the development for the children." Ishtar stated.

"You aren't far enough along in your pregnancies to be needing to worry." Naruto responded calmly, "And besides, I don't have the strength to freely move about the mortal world due to my current state of form." he reminded her.

"W-Wait... you mean..." Yang whimpered for her friend.

"Yea... I am well and truly deceased, here on the whims of Ereshkigal." he nodded.

"You wouldn't have been able to say goodbye if you had moved, had you?" Blake asked in shock.

"It is only natural that one's subjects come to call on their king one last time before he departs once and for all to the afterlife." he said with a snort, causing the tension to bleed away, "But, yes, that is correct. My body is just over there, in the hole where we all fell through in the battle. It's about ten feet deep rather than at the bottom of the pit, where the fight took place." he explained as he motioned to the hole in question.

"Despite how sad it is, we're pretty grateful to see you at least one more time before we go." Yang said politely.

"I am grateful that you came by to bid me goodbye, though I can't say the same to Cinder as well as my parents, though I am sure they will understand." he sighed, "The Underworld beckons me with every moment I stay here." he told them as he walked over to the edge of the roof, going around the hole in the process.

"Speaking of, what was that look you had in the underworld? I have never seen you like that before." Ruby questioned him curiously.

"Oh, well, I was on the brink of death, so I decided to push a little harder for each of you." Naruto explained as he looked out over the desolated land as the sun rose higher, "While Ereshkigal wasn't looking, I showed myself as I would have been if I had never given up my vault for the Dingir's, essentially a version of myself in my prime if you would. It was only an instant of course, but I had thought it would be unfortunate for all of you to have done so much, having come so far, and not see me at my highest level of strength." he told them, Ereshkigal growling as she made strangling motions towards Naruto with her hands.

That dirty cheater! That explained so much for how he defeated Tiamat in the Underworld with one blow!

"Your majesty, what exactly is going to happen with Beacon now that this war is over with?" Yang asked him.

"It'll go exactly as I said. The memory of Beacon will live on, those that walk in our footsteps will make the future grow and thrive." Naruto told her honestly, "And the future will look back, and will see just how much this fight has given to them."

"I hope so." Blake whispered.

Ruby looked to the flower in her hand, and looked up across the ruins, and knelt down to place it in a small hole on the ground, "What's that for?" Weiss asked in confusion.

Naruto however, smiled, "How considerate." he noted, "But, I can understand why you do, it is for those who have passed away. It is something one needs in order to continue living. And as such, I do not see it as a symbol of weakness, but one of honor and strength. I thank you, Ruby Rose, for honoring the fallen in such a manner." Naruto said peacefully.

"My king..." Blake whispered softly.

"Team RWBY, I am sure you already know this, but the God's were born unto this world for a reason. Mankind has suffered for eons at their whims, and it is why I disdain many of them. However, if not showing them love and respect pushes them away, then honoring the sacrifice of the ones who deserved such loyalty is also a kindness in itself. The age of Gods is over, and mankind shall now pave its own destiny from here on, and I can tell you, it is going to be beautiful, so much so, that the days of war and desolation need not darken our doors." he told them.

"King Naruto..." Yang whimpered.

"The people can and will continue to adapt and grow, that remains true, even if you have only one breath of life left in you. In the end, the state of one's heart is cumulative, and this is the way our history has been built." he told them, "Lift your heads, Team RWBY, Ishtar, Ereshkigal, and know that even if you decide to regret your powerlessness within this era, I declare this to all of you; that you each were the ones mankind had been waiting upon to bring us to salvation. No matter what trials you face from here on, just by existing, you are enough." Naruto said, watching as Ruby sniffled at his words.

"Y-You're right. So, I'll try, your majesty." the brunette reaper said through tears.

"Alright girls, it's time, we need to bring you in in order to begin the waking process for the stasis chambers." Cinder said suddenly, startling the girls.

Ishtar gulped, "Well, this is strange." she said somewhat shocked, "In truth, we didn't spend all that much time together, but, I wish I could keep talking to you forever." she said as the others smiled.

"I know, I think I speak for all of us when I say I'm kinda reluctant to leave." Blake said.

"It's alright. After all, I'm coming with you guys to help out with the waking of everyone else." Ereshkigal said softly.

"She's right, the time to say our farewells is over." Naruto stated, "Go to them, sing your victory and praise the name of the one who defied the heavens themselves until the very end." he told them, causing the girls to roll their eyes.

He was so dramatic.

Naruto turned and walked towards the hole, pausing to stop and turn back to the group, "Oh, that's right." Naruto said suddenly, "it's important that before you leave to give each of you a gift." he said turning to wink at them, "So I guess that it is only right to send you off with a little something." he said as he opened up a small portal.

"For you Ruby Rose, I grant you this sword. It is a blade in which it chooses who holds it in battle, a blade meant for a king or queen. It never dulls, and never loses. So, I want you to promise me that each time you fight, you look back to this conflict, and know that your victory was because you chose to keep fighting against all odds." he said as he presented a long sword with a gold and blue handle to her. (2)

Ruby nodded, tears falling down her cheek, "Of course, your highness." she said.

"Blake Belladonna, the fierce warrior with the the battle cry that roars like a lion. The unyielding faith you held in not just yourself and the skills you have honed, but the strength of your comrades as you all fought side by side shows just how powerful ones faith can be when the time comes to stand your ground. As such, I leave this shield for which many a warrior will gather around and speak of the days where mankind will unite under one banner, singing the songs of unity and peace. And while it was similar to the one I initially lent to you, it is nothing like it, for it bears the weight of the worlds hope upon it. So should you ever need a nudge of faith, it will always be there for you to call upon." he said, presenting a massive snow-flake looking shield to her. (3)

"Thank you, King Naruto. I will never waver in my hopes and dreams." she said as she accepted it as the king nodded.

"Weiss Schnee, the power of one's desires isn't created by force or decree, it is built upon the wishes of those who want to see their dreams come true, and as such, the perfect gift I have for you are these. The Rings in which miracles can happen. Anything you want, anything you need, wish or desire, you now can succeed where many have failed. You will go on to be a legendary person if you stick to what you know and believe and never stray from them. I hope you understand that it's not extravagant, but I think they suit you better than any Semblance ever could." he said, pulling out a set of ten rings and slipping them on her fingers one by one. (4)

Weiss sniffled, "Yes, of course, I will remain true." she said to him as he smiled kindly.

"Yang Xiao-Long, the fiercest warrior I have ever fought alongside. Your fists broke through many things, yet your dreams and aspirations did far more than your hands ever could. So it is a deep pleasure in which I grant you the greatest gift of all." he said, pulling a cup of gold from his vault, "A drink of my finest wine." he said with a grin, "To show that I appreciate that you always knew when to take the time to enjoy life for what it is, and not what it will never be. That we are the ones who chose when and what we die for." he said holding it out to her. (5)

Yang laughed, "Thank you, but I don't like wine." she said snickering.

Naruto hummed, "Huh, shame." he said, drinking the wine in a couple swallows, "Well, I guess you will just have to settle for the cup." he said tossing it to her, watching as Ereshkigal and Ishtar gawked in shock, "I'm sure you'll find a good use for it." he smirked as she caught it in her hands.

"Wait, hang on a second!" Ereshkigal exclaimed.

"Naruto, you know what this is right?!" Ishtar declared.

"I like it, I'll be sure to drink from it every day so long as I draw breath." Yang smiled at him.

"Yang, that's not that kind of cup!" the two goddesses exclaimed.

As he watched, he smiled. He knew they would keep their promises, never betray them ever. He nodded in acceptance, "Live together... and fight together." he thought to himself, "That's it Angelica. It's called..." he shook his head as he spoke up, "Alright Team RWBY, I bid each of you farewell." he declared, waving a arm out towards them, "Our time spent in battle together, was truly a gratifying victory! With your return to the Survivor's Association, I now hereby declare that operations here at the Demonic Front, finished!" he declared.

"Yes!" the team cheered happily.

Naruto turned once more and snapped his fingers as he turned back to face the group once more, "Wait, hold on a second." he stated as he looked at the group fondly, "I forgot, I have one more question." he told them as he crossed his arms, unsure how he wanted to o this, or even if he should. Swallowing a bit stiffly, he looked at them with a slightly curious look, "Aside from working on the direct battlefront, I must inquire, was I a good king for our people?" he asked them.

This caused all six women to blink before they all smiled at him, "Yes/Of course/Indeed/In every sense/Definitely/Wonderful/Astonishing!" they all said as one.

Naruto smiled happily as he bid them farewell, watching as they all departed, Ishtar taking off across the sky with her ability to fly as she soon disappeared over the land. Watching from a pile of rubble, Nicholas Schnee stood silently in his dark robe, a kind smile on his face before he turned and watched as a large group was walking out of the gates of the schoolyard. Men, women, children, young and old alike now free from the burdens of nonstop conflict, troubled no more by the evils of mankind or the resentment of the divine. At peace with themselves as they should be.

As he started to fade away, Naruto's thoughts drifted across the world, heard by anyone willing to listen to the words of a dying king's dreams, hoping for a better world than what he had left behind.

The age where humans and God's lived together.

Humans, in deciding to part company with the gods...

Chose to live as humans and rely on themselves until their final moments.

As they walked down the desolate road, a young boy turned his head, spotting something as he trekked along. The form of what appeared to be the King himself vanishing in a cloud of golden particles of light that seemingly disappeared from sight seconds after, a laugh of contentment filling the air, causing many to lift their heads high, their King's joy filling them with hope as they headed towards the mountains on foot to meet with the other survivors to help re-establish their lives.

The massive walls that had held the chaos tide itself back, crumbling apart, the entire assembly of the Dingir's that lined the massive structure all but destroyed from having been used in a non stop barrage against Tiamat, now overgrown with beautiful vines and flowers that bloomed vividly.

Sowing seeds at times,

Breaking bread and eating at times,

Singing and making music at times,

The memories of the fallen were now and forevermore and would continue to be permanently etched into history as Team RWBY walked the road with Ereshkigal as they laughed at bittersweet memories they all shared from before the war. A cart that held the body of Naruto himself, covered in a white sheet as it was pulled along by a barely working Bumblebee. They laughed at the memory of how Cardin had tripped over his own feet when he had met Velvet and declared her his one true love. How Naruto and Angelica had destroyed the Emerald Forest in a spar that had gone just a little too far. Glynda and Ozpin blushing in embarrassment as they walked in on Naruto and Cinder in bed together while the Vytal Festival was occurring.

Surrounded by people filled with hope,

We cried a little during difficult moments...

And we laughed with each other to the point it outweighed the tears...

The ruins of Vale were all anyone would see for miles on end as they journeyed along to the mountains. But, it was the memories of those who had done what no others before them that had ever tried before that would remain. Homes and businesses could be rebuilt, the lives lost were sad, yes it's true, but the memories of the fallen would always remain to remind the people who lived on that for each of the ones who had left them, they were still alive, still healthy, still fighting for the future that so many had sacrificed themselves for without fail.

But now? Now, the future could be determined by one's own desires.

It's such a commonplace, so much so it's unremarkable ...

Yet it is distinctly our own...

Our one and only story...

~XxX-5,000 Years Later-XxX~

Time had moved on, the lands changed, the cultures became diverted, legends and myths became what the world made of them. Now, in a place known as Mongolia, the newest location in which the fabled Holy Grail War would take place to acquire the might of the wish granter machine to Akasha; the Holy Grail. Not once had it been gained in any of the previous wars, but this would be a different type of Grail War, this was the Fake Grand Holy Grail War in which fourteen Servants would collide in battles not seen since the end of the Age of Gods themselves

-XxX-Unknown Cave-XxX-

A man, roughly in his forties, has drawn a ritualistic summoning circle with chalk. Dropping the writing material as he finishes, he stands up and raises a hand, one covered in three unique markings that would grant him absolute control over his summon three times. He opens his eyes and raises an arm, "Set…" he declares,

"For the elements, silver and iron

For the foundation, stone and the Archduke of Pacts

Raise a wall for the wind that shall fall"

"Close the gates of the four directions

Come forth from the Crown

And follow the forked road leading to the Kingdom"

As he called out his incantation, the summoning circle began to glow a bright blue, the golden flames of the surrounding torches changing to match as the flow of energy changed. As he called on his power, small rocks began to float up into the air, the winds picking up slightly as he channeled more energy into the ritual.

"Fill, Fill, Fill, Fill, Fill!

Repeat five times

But when each is filled, destroy it!

Heed my words

My will creates your body

and your sword creates my destiny!"

He places his free hand upon the crook of his elbow as the conjuring circle glows even brighter, the ground now shaking from the magnitude of power. An explosion of incredible power washed over the man as the lines he drew pulsated with electricity, pushing the man back as a powerful shock-wave struck outwards. The man stumbles, but continues as he knew he should.

"If you heed the Grail's call and obey my will and reason, then answer me

An oath shall be sworn here! I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven. I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell! – From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint,

Guardian of the Heavenly Scales!"

With his last declaration, he channeled everything he had into the circle, a powerful blue pulse of energy washing out of the cave and illuminating the darkness of the night.

And the light became a blinding white, momentarily blinding the man. However, when it died, his circle was gone, but in its place was an elaborate throne with a man wearing golden armor and a red cape around his waist. He had his chin propped against a lazy fist as he gazed at the mage, his leg crossed over a knee, a gentle wind billowing around as it ruffled his golden hair, crimson eyes staring ahead at his summoner.

For the man, he looked at the man on the throne, he was ecstatic, he had done it, voiced it happily even as he laughed in excitement, now this war was as good as his! The golden haired man spoke up, "Answer me…" the man on the throne spoke, "Are you the insolent human seeking to cling to a king's brilliance?" he asked cordially.

And as always LIKE/FAVORITE/FOLLOW to show the love for the story and don't forget to COMMENT/REVIEW to tell me your thoughts.

1: Fou's Semblance is called Slingshot. He was born as a runt of a litter, and Ozpin adopted him for Naruto when he was 13, and had a protective spell cast on him that essentially made him untouchable through nefarious/evil means.

2: Naruto has gifted her with Excalibur.

3: Naruto gave Blake the true version of the Shield Mash uses

4: Naruto gave Weiss the Ring's of Solomon knowning she would not abuse their powers

5: Yes, Naruto gifted Yang with the Holy Grail, but more as a joke knowing that she didn't care for unlimited power.
