The first thing he could remember was a feeling of numbness. He could not see; could not feel. It began as nothingness. He started as nothing, like everything.

But then, amidst the emptiness around him, the emptiness he had become so used to, he felt something. A brief, warm caress against his cheek. The fingers felt mutilated, as if they were scarred. He didn't like it, he didn't like it.

"He'll wake up in a minute"

Not only that, but... he felt. The numbness in his limbs disappeared as he felt a slight twitch in his fingertips.

As if forced to do so, he forcefully opened his eyes. His eyelids were heavy and the bright lights of the room, which temporarily did not help him at all, definitely did not. But as quickly as it blinded him, he blinked the light away. And that's when he realised he wasn't alone in the room. There they were, his company, but why do they look so worried? Had the Hochstetter been here?

Had Hochstetter come into the camp when he fell asleep here? How is it possible that hogan fell asleep in the bunker? What happened, his head kills him as he tries to sit up. "Good morning, Colonel, uh- how are you?" asks Carter nervously, slightly stammering, hogan's first comment: carter has grown very tall, which shouldn't be. But he should keep that in mind, hogan should ask later why he's taller. "well i'm fine except my head hurts." he says in a husky voice that is more childish than his normal voice, hogan doesn't like it. "Carter, get the colonel a mirror quick!" ordered newkirk as he saw his colonel touching his own face.

"You've got to be kidding!"

"If it were, colonel, we wouldn't be here," Kinchloe said dryly.

It's been about a week since he's been stuck in hiding, because his team insists, of course. And that they haven't contacted London yet, of course. London had contacted him before his uh... change and said they'd been out of contact for a few weeks, for fuck's sake.

Hogan would love to get out. In town, well, no one would really recognise him, and he looks German, thanks to his grandfather, who was German. But Lebau has this idea that he would be taken because no one would know him. Which would be true, but staying locked up in the house is excessive. He wants to go and scout the area in peace, maybe get allies. But Hogan, on the other hand, is worried that he won't be able to help his friends in time if they have trouble with Klink. Or Gruber, who wants to turn the stalag into a prison camp, or did.

It depends on the situation he's in now. Crawling out of a little hatch in the floor of the house because the other people in the house, mainly Techno, have kept it closed, which is really annoying. Of course Robert Hogan, alias Thomas Grünhaus, even if the name is not the best, will not be able to stop him. When he's halfway through the hatch, the door opens, quickly back into the hatch!

"Search the whole barracks! I want that boy alive, you hear me?" a stern voice shouted, "Holy shit, it's Gruber!

"DU DA DURCH DIE BETTEN!"

"WIRD GEMACHT!"

Sooo... hogan stuck in the body of a 13 year old is hiding. Albeit reluctantly, that's just incidental! As you have read, Gruber is looking for a 'young', i.e. hogan. Gruber's plan is to:

Gruber wants to take over the camp, so thanks to German scientists he has managed to turn Hogan back into a boy. But why? Gruber was angry that he didn't get the stalag, plus enforce his plan: Separate discipline and Barracks 2.

Gruber had hogan turned because he could control him more easily, and so educate german. Prussian style, of course.

The nazis try to re-educate all german-born us soldiers. Hogan was put under Gruber's wing, iron discipline.
