"So you got a new animated crystal ball series for me?" A witch producer with cyan skin and short purple hair and stubble asked.

"Yessir I do." A witch screenwriter who looked exactly like the producer witch but with glasses replied.

"Amazing!"

"So it's gonna be called the Owl House." Screenwriter which gave the title.

"That's almost like that Loud House show on Nickelodeon."

"Well only in title, this show's about a teenage girl who lives on earth that goes to a fantastical dimension." Screenwriter explained.

"Oh I'm afraid we already have that show with Amphibia!" Producer Witch brought up.

"Oh yeah I watched that show with my kids they love it."

"Who doesn't?"

"I don't knoooow!"

"Fair enough!"

"So yeah this show may have some similarities with that gem."

"What kind of similarities?"

"Oh just a few, like how a 14 year old girl gets sent to the principal's office and winds up in a dimension not like her own, with a cute sidekick and a cranky elderly paternal figure."

Luz heading to the Boiling Isles while Anne winds up in Amphibia, and Luz meeting King and Eda while Anne lives with Sprig and Hop Pop.

"And the town she lives in has a colorful cast of characters, and they go on misadventures for a time before they run into the big bad of the series."

Luz confronting Emperor Belos while Anne discovers King Andrius' true motives.

"The main girl and her friends then end up back in her home world with seemingly no way back at the end of season two and at the start of season three they'll go on more misadventures before finding a way back home to deal with an even bigger threat than the imagined."

The Collector and the Core.

"Then the main girl will seemingly die and then come back with with god like powers."

Shows Luz and Anne disintegrating. (Trying not to cry)

"And after defeating the evil the girls will spend the rest of their teen years on Earth before having a big birthday celebration with their loved ones."

The finale of both series where Anne celebrated her birthday with Sasha and Marcy and Luz celebrated a late quinceaƱera.

"Wow that's a lot of similarities, gonna be hard to get away with blatant copying and pasting that formula."

"Actually it's gonna be super easy, barely an inconvenience."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah we'll just say they're like sister shows!"

"Oh that's a nice way of putting it."

"Yeah it is."

"So tell me more about this show like who are the characters? Give me the first season." Producer Witch wondered.

"Well the main girl is named Luz Noceda, and she's like this quirky girl that loves fantasy a little too much and her mom is advised to send her to this camp that limits imagination."

"Like most studios do."

"But she loses a book she likes and she follows this little owl into a dilapidated shack near her house." Screenwriter guy explains Luz heading to the other dimension.

"You know my niece followed an owl to a dilapidated shack last week."

"Oh what happened?"

"I don't know she never came out."

"Well that's alarming, fortunately for Luz she ends up in this magical dimension called the Boiling Isles."

"Oh the Boiling Isles that's a great name for an island."

"Yeah and the island is later revealed to be the corpse of the father to this adorable merchandise opportunity named King." Shows King mourning realizing his dad is the island they all live on.

"Oh my titan!" Producer Witch said.

"Yeah and the elderly paternal figure Eda is like this cool aunt that is both caring and snarky."

"Oh that's nice."

"But then we find out that she was cursed by her sister Lilith into turning into a giant owl beast that crippled their father and ruined her life."

"Oh my titan!" Producer Witch repeated his earlier exclamation.

"Luz then meets this witch girl named Willow and they become best friends along with this other witch Gus." Screenwriter Witch said.

"Oh that's nice."

"And later we learned that Willow was abandoned and outcasted by this rich witch girl named Amity and is bullied by her rich girl friends."

"Oh my titan!"

"But it's okay cause later we learned that Amity has a severe case of rich girl syndrome."

"Abusive parents that try and control her?"

"Yeah well mostly her mom, who overworks her husband and emotionally gaslights her kids."

"Jesus this lady is a monster." Producer Witch said.

"You haven't seen anything yet." Screenwriter Witch replied.

"What?"

"Yeah and most of the characters are gonna have some form of childhood trauma."

"Oh childhood trauma is tight!"

"Okay then, And so the big bad is Emperor Belos and he outlawed wild magic and has all the witches out into covens, he has them get these sigils that block off all magic except for certain types like abomination and plants and potions and beast keeping-"

"So is all their other magic like gone after getting the sigils?"

"Well they can still summon scrolls which are like phones but they also have crows that are basically land lines."

"Why can they still do that if the sigils are supposed to restrict their magic except for that specific spell type?"

"I don't knooooow."

"Fair enough."

"And also there's the Emperor's Coven where you can keep all your magic!"

"Then why brand the emperor's coven with witches of the sigils don't do anything to their magic?" Producer Witch asked.

"Unclear."

"Huh."

"And so Emperor Belos wants the portal door to the human realm for reasons we're not gonna get into in the first season but Luz destroys it upon giving it to him."

"Wait Luz had the portal door to get back with her the whole time?" Producer Guy asked.

"Yeah yeah yeah!"

"Why didn't she just go back at any point before the season one finale?" Producer witch questioned.

"Well she already enrolled in this magic school called Hexside where she was briefly banned from but Eda got her in so she can learn magic better." Screenwriter which says.

"Speaking of what happens after Normal Camp and she has to come home?" Producer witch questions.

"Well we see a scene after the Grom episode, Grom is basically like Prom." Screenwriter which mentioned. "Amity is named Grom Queen."

"How lovely."

"But that means she has to fight a scary monster that turns into what your most afraid us."

"My mother in law and being poor?"

"Yeah it can turn into that!"

"Oh my Titan!"

"Yeah and Amity's fear was getting rejected by Luz."

"Oh she likes Luz doesn't she?"

"Yeah she went from hating Luz in the first few episodes to thinking she's kind of cool to totally in love with her."

"Amazing, so back to the other thing."

"Yeah, so anyway we actually see that Camila is actually watching TV with someone that looks like Luz but with most of her form casted in shadows."

"Oh no! Who is this imposter Luz and what is she planning?!?!" Screenwriter Witch panics.

"Oh stand tuned."

"I don't wanna stay tuned! There's a creepy Luz on the loose and real Luz is living out some escapist fantasy life!"

"Well she doesn't know that there's a creepy Luz so I don't see why she'd want to come back." Screenwriter shrugged.

"So she never once went back to the human realm to at least check on her mother after camp was over?"

"That's what we're going with."

"She really didn't think destroying her one ticket back home where a creepy Luz might be doing who knows what, did she?"

"Look sir I hear your concerns but I'm gonna need you to get aaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllll the way off my back about Luz not going home this season."

"Alright, fine I'll get off of that thing."

"And so at the end of the season Lilith shares the curse with Eda and they both lose their magic." Screenwriter Witch said.

"And that makes up for essentially ruining her sister's life?" Producer witch questions

"Apparently it does."

"Neat."

"So what do you think of the show so far?"

"I think we have ourselves the best dang cartoon this studio has ever seen!" Producer Witch smiled.

"Really?"

"Yeah it's got heart, humor for all ages, drama, lovable characters, a merchandising opportunity, a sprinkle of LGBT representation, and an intriguing story to keep viewers wanting more." Producer Witch listed off the pros. "How would you like another two seasons?"

"Awesome! That'll definitely be enough time to finish up all the storylines I got set up, and stir up potential new ones." Screenwriter which beamed.

"Unless something were to happen and the show would get cancelled." Producer laughed.

"Like that would happen!" Screenwriter which laughed.

"Yeah only an awful horrible person would do that!"

Ow House season 3 shortened to three hour long specials
