Dunson leaned to skip the Human Village, running his way to the huge Mansion. Apparently, he's extremely fast due to his prior experiences on running back from the Outside World. He couldn't help but marvel at the size of the Manson miles away that gave him hope to find a shelter. It looked it it's been there over decades of the past but remains in good condition on the outside. He heard his stomach growling. The chase through the woods had made him hungry.

Luckily for him, he was able to have his Backpack around him with goodies that were stored with actual cooking ingredients and supplies he had before he was accidentally transported, and he decided to wait until he reached to the mansion. Had he realized he was going to be blasted into a strange world with a world filled with Yokai and strong magical girls, he would have packed a big lunch. He knew the mansion could be own by a rich family or a snobby stubborn child who's the owner behind the mansion. They win or lose some since it's a huge advantage for owning such a mansion.

Now reaching the mansion, Dunson grasped in air and relaxed to sit behind a tree, hoping to get a hefty rest from running through miles reaching the Mansion.

He decided to look back to the human village and used his telescope goggles as he climbed into the tree. Hopefully it would lead him to the hope of a shelter, and maybe they could spare him free food or two…

Just then, he heard voices approaching from behind. It sounded like two female voices, cheerfully talking to one another. 'What luck!' Dunson thought. 'Maybe they can help me? Tell me where I am and…'

His eyes widened and his smile faded. He quickly hid in a bush, headed for the nearest tree and climbed it like a monkey on adrenaline. Through the safety of the leaves he watched as the voices drew nearer. Coming down the road and passing by him, were a Fairy and Yokai. One short green hair with a yellow ribbon wearing a blue dress with white trim and sleeves, with golden wings on her back and the other a red hair wearing a blue bow with red trimmings and a red and blue capelet that covers part of her face. He stayed silent as they pranced by, still talking cheerfully with no suspicion of having seen or heard him.

'More Yokai and Magical girls? More FREAKING DAMN YOKAIS, AVERAGE VILLAGERS, AND MAGICAL GIRLS?!? AND YET NOT A SINGLE BOY WHO'S NOT WITHIN MY AGE ISN'T IN THIS VILLAGE?!?' Dunson suddenly had a grim feeling about other than just. 'If there were more humans that are my age that could talk and use magic, other than the Yokais that eats them then…' He looked in the direction of the nearby town and realization hit him like a ton of bricks. It was a VILLAGE TOWN! Except, there are Yokais luring around who wouldn't want to lead a consuming process to eat them but rather disguise themselves as a way to hide their identity from the villagers and magical girls visiting the village to visit the residents there.

"I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT IT'S A FULL BLOWN VILLAGE EXCEPT, THOSE DAMN YOKAI FAIRY MAGICAL GIRLS ARE ROAMING THERE!!!" he yelled as he gestured his hand towards a nearby sign pointing towards town, clearly saying 'Human Village' except, there's Yokai, Fairies, and Magical Girls roaming in the village to hang around there, making Dunson's chances lower to ever visit the village.

He frowned. All that time trying to avoid getting caught and he was going to find help in the one place Reimu was going to take him to. He hung his head inn grief. It probably wouldn't have mattered anyway. If there was one town with humans but forbids Yokai, Faries, Magicians, then there was probably another town just like it. He solemnly picked a nearby apple from the tree and took a bite. "Chomp!"

'Maybe even a city…' he shuddered at the thought as he realized how screwed he was. He was a human in a world of ponies. There was no way he… "Mm! Juicy!" He licked his lips as he enjoyed the taste of the apple he was eating. It was the best apple he had ever eaten! Hungry as he was, it didn't take long for him to finish his first apple and quickly picked another one. It was so heavenly sweet that it put all other apples he knew about to shame from that tree he climbed on.

'Maybe this place isn't so bad…' he thought as he leaned back against the tree, enjoying his second helping. 'I think I really could…'

Unfortunately, Dunson's descending by climbing a tree had caused a branch to break, resulting him to fall and crash into a hedge as he's in the outside of the mansion. A rather large hole in the hedge, scattering flower petals and broken branches everywhere.

He groaned and pulled himself out of the hedge, noticing the wide variety of cuts and bruises on his arms and legs, and he plucked a thorn out of his back. "At least this isn't the worst place than that forest," he thought to himself. "Still, and whatever I crashed into really gets by nerves, but hopefully doesn't have to get me in trouble to pay the damages." Looking around, he saw that he was in a garden of some sort, with lots of different flowers and plants, trimmed into intricate and fantastic shapes.

The one he had crashed into looked like a rose bush shaped like a small girl with wings, though now, due to his rather dynamic entrance, she was knocked down and dazed. As he watched, the whole thing slowly toppled over, Dunson stepped in and saved the fairy, grasping his might to push the fairy from being crushed by the debris. Thanks to his strength he pushed back before the debris slammed into the ground with a loud crash noises and a puff of rose petals.

He winced in sympathy to the gardener, who's still knocked out and dazzled, making a mental reminder to apologize to them, as he brought an apple he obtained by the tree he climbed on. Dunson wanted to apologize to the little fairy from his accident, hence, the apple before wandering off to the next territory. He began walking towards a building in the distance, hoping to find someone who would know where he was.

As he approached, he found himself staring at the sheer size of the building, which was larger than any he'd ever seen. It was at least three stories tall, with a clock tower and some parapets, and it looked like there had to be at least twenty rooms per floor. What few windows there were seemed to be dyed a deep red, creating a foreboding atmosphere, and he wondered briefly if he'd stepped into an old monster movie that was known to be clsssical from the 60s. Shaking his head, he tried to think through his thoughts from his mind and knocked on the door in a professional manner.

As he was about to knock for the third time, the door swung open, revealing a woman with silver hair and a stern expression, dressed in a maid outfit. "Meiling, what was with that noise earlieeerrrr…" she began, before coming face to face with the human who has gotten into a situation and his looks made him look like he's crashed into an accident behind him.

Dunson was stunned and relieved, as he saw the woman's stunned expression, he might have wanted to clean up a bit first. "Uh... Hi there miss..." he said nervously, doffing himself and cleaning the dust around himself, "I seem to require some assistance about my whereabouts in Gensokyo... So, could you help me and ask your offerings about living in this beautiful mansion?" This seemed to bring the maid out of her shock, and before he could blink, he felt himself pinned to the wall, a dagger at his throat. He was really starting to get sick of having knives in close proximity to his face, he thought. "Crud. If this is about that hedge, I'm really sorry about that... But I didn't really have a choice in the matter, and saved one of your co-workers that I crashed into by accident, if you understand."

The maid pressed the dagger closer to his throat and whispered to him, "I don't care about Meiling's damn topiary, nor the little maid fairies, but just tell me who sent you here."

"Look, I think you've misunderstood something here-"

She pressed her dagger closer to his neck. "Who. Sent. You."

'HOLY CRACK CHEESETEES, THIS WOMEN IS CRAZY' Dunson thought to himself in a scared nervous moment, seeing the maid holding her knife close to his throat, 'She sound like she's definitely fully paid for this and would demand me answers about why I'm sent here, but crud, just say something quick before she'll cause my life!'

"It's a long story, but I accidentally woke up in the middle of a forest and-" Dunson nervously asked the maid before someone interrupted and got really mad on bypass the system.

"HEY!"

Dunson was startled as he suddenly heard a voice call up to him while held by the Maid, as another encounter came in who was furious.

"AND JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING BY PASSING THROUGH THE GATE FROM MY NARCOLEPSY?"

Dunson looked and saw another female women. A normal Chinese women with long, scarlet hair that symbolizes both her name and the place that she's guarding. Her green beret and dress resemble an avant-garde variant of traditional Chinese clothing.

"Well?" She tapped at Dunson impatiently.

"Meiling, do you know about this stranger and let him pass through the gates or your typical narcolepsy happen again?" The Maid snarl at her.

"No Sakuya, but I can't believe he managed to bypass me while I was in a narcoleptic sleep." Meiling angrily muttered, "Can't believe you have this stranger in your hands."

Dunson glanced back at two women as the two argued about their conflicting views and is in disbelief as these two are both damn scary, to the point, he really shouldn't want to be in this conservation, but feared if one mistake happened to him, these two would've break their bones. He nervously settled his throat . She looked Meiling in disbelief before glaring back at him.

"Hehe… Aren't you two supposed to settle down and possibly talk about this later and... get straight to the point of myself in Gensokyo?" he smiled apologetically and nervously.

"You basically trespassing in the Scarlet Devil Mansion stranger! Who would ever bypass my…" Her eyes switched from annoyed angry to curious and confusion. "Wait a minute, Sakuya, who on Gensokyo is this stranger anyway?" Sakuya knew what Meiling was taking about, as she slowly put the stranger down, putting her knife away, backed away a bit to get a better look through the leaves while Meiling looked at the stranger closely. They realized this isn't an intruder at all, resulting both Meiling and Sakuya gasped as it wasn't some stranger trying to steal or trespass, they both had cornered.

"*GASP!* YOU AIN'T A STRANGER!" Both Meiling and Sakuya echoed through the orchard.

"Sssssh!!" Dunson frantically shushed Sakuya and Meiling and looked around. There was a tense moment of silence, with a random apple falling suddenly to the ground from the distance.

Hearing nothing else, Dunson drew a relieved sigh. "Whew! I don't think she heard…"

"Um… Who?" Meiling had gotten over her shock at seeing Dunson and was now curious. Who was this stranger that Sakuya held him captive for a moment? "Erm… would you mind telling about us what's going on in your part? Me and Sakuya are curious on why you're saying you're new to Gensokyo."

"I don't know…" Dunson looked back down at her with doubt in his eyes. After what happened in the forest, he didn't feel quite safe being near anyone with magical powers. Even though Reimu is a full on experienced expert, it didn't mean she was no less threatening. "Are you going to turn me in or something that would cause me after that?"

"I won't turn you in." Sakuya assured him. "But if you dare ever enter by bypassing Meiling or causing a disturbance in Scarlet Devil Mansion, I'm gonna have to turn you in for a restraining order, got it stranger?"

"Okay, thank you for being honest. So what about that mansion?"

"This mansion isn't cheap to live in..." Meiling assured, "Renting in Scarlet Devil Mansion cost almost 1000 yen to live there."

Dunson had money, but since he now was in a different world, the currency in his pockets was probably worthless since its currency is Japanese. Heck, it's hella worst when renting in SDM is extremely expensive to live in, which made his plans fell through by living there. He had to make it up to Meiling and Sakuya somehow. "Crud, but at least I planned to live inside that mansion anyway, but gonna take a step back from living inside that mansion for now."

"Don't worry, at least you don't sound like trouble." Sakuya smirked.

Dunson eventually got the courage to get used to the Guardswomen and Maid, as the two now got a much better look at him. "Now, I'm gonna an ask you this stranger..?" Meiling raised her hand and grabbed Dunson's hand, giving him the hand. "I'm Meiling! Guard of the SDM, and a serious guard who will wake up if an intruder bypasses the gates! I also tend to sleep on the job due to my narcolepsy... tee hee."

"Name's Sakuya Izayoi. Welcome to Scarlet Devil Mansion, home of the master of lady Remilia Scarlet. We provide anyone living in the mansion or visiting it for a tour meeting. We have fairy maids working in SDM for cleaning the mansion at its cleanest. Also, having a library where we have a Patchy girl being obsessed with her love on books" she snickered "That there last one was a joke." Meiling confusedly admitted it wasn't a good one.

Meiling let go off Dunson's hand, which was still shaking as he tried to regain control over it. "Now, who are you little fella? For that matter, you seem to not tell us what you were doing when you encountered Sakuya?"

"I'm Dunson. I'm a human from the outside world, and I was hiding from two insanely powerful girls with magical powers trying to take me away."

"Hiding from who? You gotta explain clearly on what you're yapping about." Sakuya muttered.

"I ran into this shine maiden girl with her witch companion in the woods. She and her witchy friend wanted to capture me…"

'Shrine Maiden Girl and her Witch Companion?' Sakuya got a feeling she knew whom Dunson was talking about. "Isn't that Reimu and Marisa you're talking about?"

"You know them?" Dunson asked in a sudden matter.

"Darn sappy gappy. Reimu and Marisa used to be enemies against us during the Scarlet Mist Incident until the SDM residents and us became friends after the incident was over." Meiling smiled. Dunson now got worried. If she was friends with Twilight, she would probably tell her about meeting him. "I'm curious why you're asking about Reimu-"

"Please don't tell her where I am! She's after me! I know Marisa is the only girl who gives a damn labout my instincts, but Reimu just wants to use me for her convenience!" Dunson begged Meiling and Sakuya not to mention or tell Reimu about this slacker human.

Sakuya blinked before smiling. "Now why would little Reimu would want to know about you, Dunson?" Realization then hit her and she moved a bit closer, glaring at him. "Let me guess... you did something that made her mad and go after you?" Dunson gulped hearing the threatening tone in her voice.

"No! I didn't do anything, I swear! She's just after me! Marisa knows her scuff and understands my situation but she can't let me be free due to her friendship with Reimu."

Looking into his eyes, Sakuya and Meiling could tell he wasn't lying. This only puzzled Sakuya while Meiling was staring to get the memo. Nobody would ever be after a human, Yokai, or fairy unless that person had done something… Or was important… Now that Sakuya and Meiling thought about it, they both realized that Dunson was a special case she had seen before but completely from another but in a whole level.

"You're not from Gensokyo aren't you, Dunson..?" Sakuya cocked her eyebrow. "And you're from the outside world right?

"Yes. I'm from the outside world. I came by 'Lord-knows-what' and just found myself in the forest. I've being trying to find out just where I am exactly and…"

After hearing the words 'outside world', both Sakuya and Meiling suddenly got lost in her own thoughts. Reimu was after this human. This human was from outside world. This would mean he was really important considering there's a Human Village for him to live there. Maybe even worth something?

Both Meiling and Sakuya suddenly had an idea. They both started to envision themselves at the SDM. Only this time they both wanted something they desperately wanted. A person that can do their jobs while taking a nice vacation break for them to enjoy while Dunson does their dirty work, wishing they get a break from working from SDM.

"Meiling..? Sakuya!" Dunson shouted, startling the daydreaming Maid and Guardswomen.

"Uh? Wha? Oh! Sorry about that." Meiling said apologetically with her freckled cheeks blushing. "Me and Sakuya were imagining our dreams in a daytime setting..."

"Something wrong? It looked like you and Sakuya had something in mind at the moment."

"Well… We…" Sakuya couldn't lie. She and Meiling knew they both had found a goldmine. Or rather, a golden apple! And a shiny gold apple like Dunson could have him do both their duties in the SDM to take a vacation break m. With Dunson on the line of being an outsider from the outside world, Sakuya could finally get her vacation while Meiling finally has a sidekick guard. They both just needed to to work together stake their claim. Rubbing her chin, Sakuya smiled with a sly grin.

"You said you wanted to live in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, right?" Sakuya asked. Dunson nodded, completely unaware to what was about to happen, since the renting in SDM is sky high expensive. Meiling decided to sneakily side step behind Dunson and reached for something inside her pockets. "I know of a way you could do that."

"Really?" Dunson smiled. "Like what? Applying a job? Cooking for the residents of the mansion? Clean the porch? Wash the dishes? I can do just about anything and hoping your master does pay the rents for me for living inside for a luxurious living or maybe like a…" Meiling suddenly pulled out a lasso and tied it over Dunson, tying him up. "...thing? Hey! What da hell is this!?"

"Just come with us Dunson, and I think me and Meiling know just the perfect place for m'lady Remilia here." Sakura started walking towards the mansion, as Meiling is holding the end of her rope in her hands with a tied up Dunson at the other end in tow.

"I don't understand. What's going on?" Dunson asked worried.

"Yer gonna make us our secondary job coach, Dunson." Meiling smiled. "Me and Sakuya are gonna show Remilia about you and will takeover our workplace, while me and Sakuya will take a relaxing break for a vacation. We'll teach ya how to do tricks and together of our work, and make a fortune for Remilia."

Dunson cringed as he realized what was happening. Both Sakuya and Meiling was going to show him off to their master and would be treated as a secondary job consultant. To perform demeaning and mandatory overtime work for Sakuya and Meiling's job, such as cleaning the entire mansion or having to stay up to watch for bystanders instead of doing living in the mansion.

While Dunson did like the idea of living in the SDM, he did not wish to be part of it and doing two jobs where Sakuya takes a vacation to do the cleaning or Meiling taking her break while guarding the SDM gates for a 24/7 hour would be gradually painful to sit through, along the fact they he would get exhausted and getting extremely underpaid for doing both jobs turn by turn or worse... doing both of them if Meiling and Sakuya take their breaks at the same time. He had to escape this! The rope around his waist wasn't that tight and he could wriggle himself out. He just needed to keep both Sakuya and Meiling distracted.

"So… You two are friends, right?"

Meiling's ears perked. "Of course little Dunson!"

"Then you must know everything about SDM and its secrets right?" He hoped this idea would work.

"Yep! Sure do!, but Patchouli knows a lot about the mansion and its architecture of the library." Sakuya smiled. "Remilia knows how this mansion works and you must obey m'lady's deeds."

"Well then…" He thought for a moment before asking his question. "Surely you both want to tell me about the residents of Gensokyo, so that I can meet up with these newcomers I could encounter them right?"

"Sure can do, Dunson. We know a couple of them but we mostly know them from a competitive from years ago" Meiling started to think for a moment. "There's Reisen, Cirno, Tenshi, Keine, Satori, Orin…"

As Meiling began to recite her memories of the Gensokyo residents with Sakuya listening to Meiling without her knowing about Dunson's insistence, Dunson seized this moment to escape. He started to wriggle and flex his arm muscles, hoping to wear the rope out so much it would loosen, while keeping pace with his captors. Meiling and Sakuya had just gotten to the into the hallways, when Dunson finally managed to pull the worn out rope off him. He gently dropped the rope to the ground and snuck away, watching as Meiling and Sakuya continued towards the Library to meet Patchouli, completely unaware as she continued to recite name by name of a Gensokyo resident while pulling an empty rope.

"…Rumia, Koakuma, Rinnosuke, Clownprice- PATCHY!" Meiling exclaimed as she noticed Patchouli Knowledge. The silent but bored nerdy book obsessed purple girl walked over to her with a rather puzzled look on her face. "Hey there Patchy, y'll never guess me and Sakuya had found!" She beamed with pride.

Patchouli was about to say something before Sakuya cut her off. "Now before you speak Patchouli, remember that me and Meiling need a vacation break and find someone who would takeover our workplace as a secondary?"

"Oh really?" The book nerd girl slowly answered.

"We have a special human from the outside world who would like to speak with m'lady Remilia."

"Uh… Okay then..."

"Well I hope you're happy for our new special outsider who's going to live in the SDM, because today, me and Sakuya finally found the 'golden goose' that will set us for him to work for SDM!" Meiling closed her eyes and proudly gestured her hoof to the rope behind her. "Isn't he a handsome role model?" Sakuya smirked.

"Technically Meliling and Sakuya... You have an empty captor who just took off. Anyways, I'm gonna go read more books while I'll inform Koa and Remilia about this human from the outside world. Mukyu, Mukyu girls..."

Both Sakuya and Meiling blinked confusingly at Parchouli and then looked behind them. Meiling's rope fell to the ground as she gawked at the realization that Dunson was gone.

"SCREEK OF THE CHINO!" Meiling yelled. "Wait here Patchy! Me and Sakuya would be back for a sec!" Patchouli just stood there as Meiling dashed like a speedy car while Sakuya snapped her fingers and teleported away. Patchouli didn't cared anyway, so she went back to her usual book reading.

Dunson ran as fast as he could through the orchard. He knew there was only a matter of time before Sakuya and Meiling realized what had happened. He just had to reach the gates and then he would be…

"HOLD ON THERE YOU SNEAKY LITTLE BOY!"

Dunson looked behind him and cringed hard but is ultimately scared as he saw Meiling racing after him and gaining. He realized he could not outrun her on foot and made a dash for the nearest, tallest tree he could find. He climbed the tree with great speed, not stopping until he had reached the top.

"Get down here you little coot!" Meiling demanded. She reared up against the tree trunk, trying to get closer. "You promised me and Sakuya about offering you a stay in the SDM!"

"OH, I'm sorry Chinese Girl, but I just realized I had somewhere else to be other than trying use me to work while taking your time getting a relaxing nap in the job of your work!"

"Don't make me come up there!" she hammered her foot at the tree. "You don't know who you're truly messing with."

"I'd like to see you try, Chinese Girl!" Dunson taunted and stuck out his tongue and spinning his eyes with his hands taunting. "Pttt~!" The tree was too tall for her to climb, especially with hooves and Meiling knew this. Fuming in her boiling point, she pushed herself away from the tree and walked away grumbling.

Feeling victorious, Dunson just leaned back against the tree and relaxed.

THUD!

Suddenly, the entire tree started to shake. Dunson quickly grabbed a branch and peered down as he saw Meiling kicking the tree with her hind legs. From the way the tree shook, it was obvious to Dunson that Meiling was pretty strong and dangerously powerful for kicking a tree this tall. This was made evident as apples started to fall off the tree due to the powerful vibrations.

THUD! THUD!

"I hate to do this, you outsider coot! But if you won't come down…" She bucked the tree again, even harder this time.

THUD!!

"…Then I'll bring ya down into the pits under the SDM of Remilia Scarlet!" The tree shook violently, dropping every apple on the ground. Meiling continued to kick the tree, showing no sign of being tired. By now the tree was completely free of apples, aside from one non-apple that still struggled to hang on. "This oughta do it!"

THUD!!!

Meiling made one more kick. It shook the tree with tremendous force, finally forcing Dunson to let go of the branch.

'This is it!' Dunson thought, closing his eyes as he hit the ground. 'This speaks doom for me...'

CRASH!

Any moment now Meiling would be all over him with her rope and tie him up like some helpless calf. It took him only a moment to realize that Meiling was not tying him up. Nor did she try and tackle him, but she'll let a certain maid do the tricks to tackle and catch Dunson.

"Oooh…."

Dunson suddenly realized he was lying on something lumpy and glanced down to see that he had fallen on Meiling, knocking the wind right out of her. He felt her stirring as she started to regain consciousness.

"Eh… Sorry… Bye-bye!" Dunson quickly jumped off her and ran. Meiling struggled to quickly get back on her hooves and galloped after him before screaming to get Sakuya in action.

"SAKUYA! AFTER HIM!"

Dunson ran through the field with the cowboy mare on his heels. He tried to lose her by taking sharp turns and dodging past one tree after another, but Meiling proved to be just as agile. To her this 'obstacle course' was a piece of a Guard Maid scenario.

As he was finally nearing the fence, Dunsun was suddenly bypassed by Sakuya by her teleporting spells, which made Dunson nervous as it's a familiar spell that Reimu pulled off, as she skidded to a halt in front of him and blocked his path. Dunson came to a screeching halt, yelped and made a sharp turn back towards the SDM.

"Oh, don't you think about running away from me!" yelled Sakuya, taking quite a joy in this chase. She was literally 'herding' him back to the SDM, cutting him off whenever he tried to deter from the path by her teleportation spell.

With only a few feet remaining, Dunson was exhausted from all the intense running and was forced to stop next to a hollow apple tree to catch his breath. He panted heavily as he tried to come up with some kind of escape plan when Sakuya appeared, her eyes gleaming in triumph at him with coldness and determination. "Gotcha now, Dunson!" She snapped her fingers to stop time, dubbed on her ability called 'Time Manipulation' to hinder Dunson down. She spun around using her knifes st him as time stops and hopes to stop Dunson's running away. "Time for you to say your fate being a bye bye." Sakuya smiled as she snaps her fingers to revert back to normal time.

Dunson instinctively closed his eyes and ducked as the Maid came at him at full speed while managing to avoid the knife being manipulated by Sakurai, who was disappointed that her attacks are sketchy but chased after him regardless.

'HOLY &@T, SINCE WHEN DID SHE MANIPULATE TIME AND SPACE!?' Dunson said, now extremely scared from Sakuya more than Meiling. 'I HAVE TK FIND A DAMN WAY TO STOP HER FROM MANIPULATING HER SPELL FOR CRAMBERS SAKE!!'

THUD!

He started hearing muffled sounds. He glanced up and saw that Sakuya and Meiling had missed him and gotten both stuck in the hollow tree corner. Dunson seized this opportune moment and ran off.

Trying now to run across the farm, Dunson suddenly saw Patchouli sitting on the porch, with a surprised look on her face, seeing the outsider for the first time. Searching desperately for another way to escape, Dunson saw the hedge from earlier that he crashed into and quickly made his way past the open doors and closed them.

Using all their strength, Meiling and Sakuya managed to finally pull out of the tree. They on the ground somewhat dazed, their eyes focused just enough to see Dunsun as he dashed into the hedge. They both smiled as they realized that Duncann was now trapped. There was no other way out of that hedge besides the way he came in. Meiling quickly got up and raced towards it while Sakuya used her teleporting spells to reach to the hedge.

Inside the Hedge, Dunson let out a disgruntled groan as he realized there was no back door, nor a window he could climb out, exceptbeinf a hole up the roof that he crashed into, figuring a way out of the hedge. He peered out of the small crack in hedge door, and saw Meiling and Sakuya approaching. His eyes darted frantically around the hedge. All he saw was ropes, harnesses, tools, shovels, flower pots, garden seeds, water holes… This didn't look good...

Patchouli watched silently as her two residents and friends raced towards the hedge. Meiling stopped just in front of the door and knocked on it several times with her hoof with Sakuya approaching with her. "We gotcha trapped now, ya coordinate little brat!" she called in. "We're gonna force you down under the SDM to be our secondary sidekick!" She and Sakuya opened the hedge door, dashed right in and closed it.

What then followed was a loud crash, followed by several other loud and unholy noises. Crashing and tumbling could be heard, along with the sounds of a chicken squawk and a sheep bleat. The hedge shook and literary jumped off its foundation for a brief moment. Patchouli watched with a perplexed look on her face as she listened to the yelling and screaming inside while the noises intensified, while reading her book but wants to know whatever Mei and Saku are rambling at Dunson.

The commotion continued until it eventually died down, leaving nothing but an eerie silence in the air. Just then, the hedge door slowly opened.

Dubson stepped out of the hedge, slightly scuffed and bruised but otherwise fine. He drew a relieved and satisfied sigh as he brushed off the dirt and straw from his clothes. He closed the door behind him and was about to leave when he suddenly came face to face with Patchouli.

"Oh!" Patchouli simply stared at him. "Uh.. Hi, you must be Patchouli that Meiling and Sakuya told me about…." Dunson said nervously. "Um... these two are inside… and I'm about to take my leave from SDM for now…" he smiled while pointing at the door with his thumb. Patchouli eyed the door before focusing back on Dunson. "Well, see ya around…" Dunson casually placed his hands in his pockets and calmly walked away as he whistled a fake western tune.

Patchouli simply stood and watched as this outsider human just walked away. She then turned his attention to the hedge and slowly ventured inside. Peering in, he saw the state it was in. It was a mess! Tools and equipment were thrown everywhere, with ropes and harnesses lying around in complete bundles. She then noticed something hanging at the back of the hedge, dangling back and forth. Trotting calmly towards it, she stared with curiosity and confusion at his sister as she hung upside down from the support beam, all roped up like a rodeo steer with a piece of rope muffled clumsily around their mouths. Both Meiling and Sakuya glared at Patchouli with a look of dissatisfaction and humiliation as she pursed her lips and fought to stifle a giggle.

"Not one word out of you mouth Patchouli/Patchy... And never speak to Remilia about this incident…"

Dunson sprinted across the Scarlet Devil Mansion before reaching the gates, leaped over it and dashed off into the nearest area. He didn't stop until he had reached a safe distance away from the SDM. Using his running tactic to stray way from SDM, Dunson have ran miles to reach to his next destination (in a fashion like the Looney Tunes style run), one that leads to the Mountains. By now, reaching to the Moriya Ropeway, he was exhausted. That little exciting tussle inside the hedge had begun to take its toll.

Reaching a clearing, he finally collapsed on the grass. He rolled onto his back and looked up towards the sky. He watched as clouds drifted slowly across the skies while hearing the calm chirping of birds in the trees.

'Why did I come here? How did I get here? WHAT IS THIS PLACE?' he mentally shouted in his thoughts. 'At least I was running like that Road Runner from those Looney Tuney cartoons they showed in the 60s"

He closed his eyes with a tired sigh and just lay there on the ground, enjoying the brief peace and tranquility of nature.

Moments later, he suddenly felt a shadow above him. Thinking first it was a cloud he paid it no heed, until he realized it wasn't moving. He opened his eyes and noticed two dark figures standing over him. Looking at it more closely, he noticed the two lite ones features…

"Um… Hello..?"

"Are you awake you weird human?"

Dunson shrieked and bolted up away from the maid and guardswomen, causing in turn her to squeak and recoil in fear. At first he thought it was Meiling and Sakuya, but after quickly noticing the tone in the two voices, it became clear that it wasn't. He scuttled further away for a bit before finally stopping, never taking his eyes off them.

"Oh! We're sorry! Me and Suwako didn't mean to scare you…" she said very apologetically.

"Nitori and I thought you were straight up sleeping like a kappa?"

Dunson was speechless. His eyes wide as he beheld the newvisitors in front of him.

'GROMITO ME SUKA!? THIS ONE HAS A HAT WITH EYES AND ONE WITH HAVING A TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE?!?'

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Unfortunately, Remilia was replaced by Meiling since she can be disinagrated by dust by the sun.

Next chapter is gonna be longer, so keep an eye out in that.

And it looks like Meiling and Sakuya will have to wait for their little goose for later after getting through a silly rough stuck draft in the hedge.
