(Cheer up, Anya)

Two days passed since Calvin departed for the army as Charlotte and the others were all sitting in Judith's room to discuss plans to cheer up Anya, who is depressed due to the events.
"Alright, we need to find a way to cheer up Anya. She's almost been in her bed for the past two days, and we can't allow her to continue to sulk like this.." Cynthia spoke to her friends with concern in her voice while everyone nodded in agreement as Judith began to speak.
"You're right. I've talked to her mother, and she told me that Anya didn't eat once yesterday, It's concerning. I never even got the chance to say goodbye to Calvin, and it sucks, but my friend is more important than my feelings, so I must help." Judith responded with sadness in her voice while everyone nodded once more in support.
"That's terrible, I would say we should visit her, but I do want to give Anya the time that she needs; however, we still have to find a way to cheer up our friend." Charlotte responded to Judith while the girl nodded in agreement.
"Exactly, and that's where our focus should be. Anya has done so much for you guys, and I want to make sure that we can cheer her up." Judith seriously responded to Charlotte while this exchange was seen by Nancy, and began to speak.
"We should throw a small party for Anya. Nothing too major, but I feel like that would make Anya feel just a bit better, how does that sound?" Nancy advised her friends, and this made everyone nod their heads in support of the idea as Emma began to speak.
"I'm down for that, if that doesn't work then we could simply write a get well soon card for Anya, It's always the small things that count, and we want to make sure of it." Emma chimed into the conversation while everyone nodded once more in agreement.
"You know, that doesn't sound too bad. We could simply write Anya a small card or something. I think it's easier than stressin ourselves to throw a party, so I'm with Emma unless anyone else has any ideas." Cynthia responded in agreement while looking over at Charlotte and the others to see that they were in full support of writing the card.
"It seems writing the card is the way to go, so I'll gather the card and supplies so we can write in it and make it look presentable." Charlotte spoke to her friends as she and the others smiled cheerfully.
"Anya helped me so much back at the Winter Ball, so I must return the favor. I hope this will make Anya happy." Judith thought to herself before getting up to follow Charlotte to gather supplies for the card.
Both girls would exit out of the room to make their way to the arts and crafts room which was located at the door next to the bathroom, and the girls would enter the arts and supplies room.
"You have such a wonderful home, Judith. Thank you for inviting us here. It made things convenient for us." Charlotte kindly thanked Judith while Judith smiled at her.
"Of course, I've treated you and the others like garbage for the past half of the year, and I want to make up for it." Judith responded with a smile as she walked around the art and supplies room to assist Charlotte in gathering the materials.
"And, I'm glad you are making the effort to change for the better, and I know we barely interact, but just know that I don't hold any grudges toward you. I know you've done horrible things to my girlfriend and friends, but I still found myself forgiving you in the end, so It shows that someone like me believed that you could change." Charlotte responded with a smile while gathering the supplies needed to create the card.
These words made Judith smile once more as she chuckled to herself before speaking once more.
"Yup, and I'm glad we're able to talk like this, I've always seen you around, and you seemed like a good friend to Anya and the others as well." Judith responded to Charlotte while gathering the final supplies needed to make the card.
After hearing this, Charlotte would begin to speak once more to Judith.
"Of course, I've known Anya since I was ten years old, and she saved me from two bullies by beating them up, and ever since that day, I have been her loyal friend." Charlotte responded with a warm voice, and this made Judith chuckle surprisingly.
"Wait, Anya got into a fight when she was a kid?! How surprising, but I'm glad she defended you from those awful boys." Judith responded with a surprised voice while Charlotte chuckled back.
"Yup, she gave those bullies a piece of their mind, and I will always be grateful for that." Charlotte responded once more while heading toward the door since she was finished gathering her end of the supplies for the card.
Judith watched with a smile before following her toward the exit of the arts and supplies room.
"Well, I'm glad that she defended you. It goes to show that Anya is truly a good person. I just wish I was nicer to her from the beginning, but I've caused enough hurt to her, you, Emma, and the rest of her friends that came across my path. That's why I want to help cheer her up. It's just another way of making amends, but I hope I'm doing a good job of doing it." Judith spoke to Charlotte once more with a mixture of guilt and happiness which caused the girl to look at Judith in a comforting way.
"You are doing a wonderful job, and you are working towards becoming a better person, and that makes me happy. I know we never interacted as much, but just know that as of now, you are my friend, and I'm proud of your ability to better yourself as a person." Charlotte responded to her friend once more and this made Judith smile warmly.
"Thank you, Charlotte. Thank you for forgiving me. It means a lot.." Judith responded with a smile before resuming her walk with Charlotte.
"You're welcome, and let's head back to Cynthia, and the others, okay? They might be getting worried." Charlotte spoke to Judith once more while walking with her new friend.
Both girls walked across the hallway before making it back to Judith's room where they would remain for the remainder of their time.
"We're back. Sorry we took so long, we had to find the right materials to make the card look presentable, but let's get started. " Charlotte spoke to her friends before sitting down on the floor to lay down the materials while Judith did the same thing.
"Yeah, we had trouble finding some materials, but we should be good to go now." Judith chimed into what Charlotte said this was followed by Cynthia and the others nodding understandably as they sat on the floor as well.
"No worries, take all the time you guys need, and we should get started on the card for Anya, shall we?" Cynthia responded as she quickly began to work on the card alongside her friends.
During the process of making the card, Judith and Charlotte would exchange a smile together before getting back to working on the card.
*Anya's Room*
*9:00 pm*
A few more hours passed, and Anya sat in her dark room as the curtains were closed shut due to her not wanting any light in her room.
"Calvin.." Anya muttered to herself in a sad voice while tossing and turning in her bed due to not being able to sleep properly; however, this was interrupted by the sound of knocking on her door, and it was her mother.
"Honey, there's a card for you. It's from your friends, I'll slide it under the door so you can read it, okay? I hope you are doing okay, my dear daughter, and please eat when you get the chance as well.." Anastasia advised her daughter with concern in her voice as she slid the card underneath her door before walking away.
This chain of events caused Anya to get up from her bed to retrieve the card from the floor, and this made her surprised.
"Thanks, mother, and I'll try.." Anya quietly responded with a faint smile as she walked over to her lamp to turn it on so she could read the card.
"Anya, we all hope you feel better soon. We know things are rough right now due to Calvin's departure; however, know that there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, and we all love you so much. Always remain strong and brave during these dark times. From, your dearest friends, Charlotte, Emma, Nancy, Cynthia, Judith, and the rest of your dearest friends who weren't able to make it." Anya read from the card which made her smile warmly before placing the card on her chest as if she was hugging it.
"Thank you, my friends. I'll cherish this card for the rest of my life.." Anya whispered to herself before placing the card on her desk that was beside her bed and turning off the lights so she could lie down for the night.
"My friends need me, I need them. I can't keep sulking like this.." Anya thought to herself before slowly closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep for the remainder of the night.
