Zane POV: The moment that portal got me, I lost consciousness, which was an awful feeling. And when I woke up, I was lying on the ground outside. But that was concerning because of the fact we were in a building before. First, I need to find the other before anything else, though.

I tried to get up, and nothing happened. Confused, I tried to move my hand, but it wouldn't move an inch. That doesn't make any sense, and I kept trying to make something move, but nothing worked. It was like… that time. I was slowly starting to panic as I tried hard to move something, and I was starting to hyperventilate. I can't be stuck in my body again, I can't take it. Not after last time.

I was breathing hard and fast, trying constantly to move. But I froze when I heard several footsteps running towards me. I can't defend myself, and that's the worst-case scenario.

I squeezed my eyes as the footsteps got closer and heard whoever it was coming right over to me sat down.

"Zane, are you okay?" It was Lloyd, but now I couldn't even open my eyes again. It was getting worse.

"I think he's still in the trap." That sounded like Jay. What does he mean by trap?

"Zane you can wake up, just try." Lloyd said, but I have tried. Nothing works, and it can't work.

"Zane, you're in your worst nightmare. That's the trap." Nya said, a little further away from us.

How would that even be possible? There is no record of that sort of power anywhere. Then again, it wouldn't be completely impossible either.

"Zane, you can wake up. You got this." Cole said, and I took a deep breath. What they all were saying was calming me down.

I sat up suddenly and breathed deeply. Instead of the sky I saw before, it was an underground room surrounded with entryways of very dark tunnels. Everyone, except for Kai, was around me, looking both worried and relieved.

"Welcome back to the real world." Jay said. Looking very relieved and next to Nya, who was equally relieved as him.

"What exactly happened?" I asked, and Lloyd helped me stand up.

"That Hry guy made this place to make us experience our worst memories." he explained.

"I… see. Did you all…?" I didn't need to finish asking. The looks on their faces were enough to tell me.

"What about Kai?" I asked.

"He's still trapped, and we need to hurry." Nya said, clearly nervous about it. Which is understandable.

"Then let's go." Lloyd said.

We were about to move, but a cold wind blew suddenly, making us all shiver, even myself, which was odd. It was followed by a faint laugh that made Lloyd stiff up. He took an uneasy breath.

"Lloyd?" Jay asked, but he didn't hear him.

I put my hand on his shoulder, and he jumped a little, "Sorry, I just…"

"What is troubling you?" I asked, but I had a small feeling.

He didn't answer right away, but eventually, he said, "That sounded a little like… Morro."

He said that made all of us freeze, but it also doesn't make much sense if he got out of his own…

"Lloyd, how did you get out of your memory?" I asked, and he looked right at me.

"I didn't. I had Hry open a portal to get you guys out." he answered, and it worried me greatly.

"Meaning you haven't faced anything?" Cole said, and Lloyd nodded.

"But if the main guy opened the portal wouldn't that mean Lloyd doesn't have to face… him?" Jay asked, trying to avoid saying Morro's name.

"That, or it's just hitting Lloyd slower." I suggested, and no one looked comfortable with that.

"Then we need to get him out of here." Cole said, but he didn't look happy about that.

"But what about Kai? He still needs help." He tried to argue back, but it was clear how scared he was.

"We will find him, don't-" I tried to say, but the moment I took a step, my leg gave out.

Jay and Nya caught me, and I checked. There was damage around my knee, and it didn't look good. It must have happened during the fall.

"Looks like we need to get you out, too." Jay said, and I reluctantly nodded.

"But I'm going to need assistance to repair the damage. Since I won't be able to see all of the damage myself." I said, and immediately Nya and Jay shared a look.

They both could help me, but given their body language, they clearly didn't want to be separated yet. My guess is that it has something to do with what they experienced.

Cole must have sensed this too and said, "Okay then. Jay, you take Lloyd, and Nya can help you, Zane. I'll stay and find Kai."

Nya still looked worried, but we all nodded in agreement. She took my arm, and Lloyd said, "The portal should be down this tunnel. See you soon."

Cole nodded, and we went our separate way, but I still didn't fully like this idea. I don't know why, but it feels like Kai was further away than he should have been. And that wasn't a comforting thought.

Hry POV: Ah, it seems like they caught onto Lloyd's predicament. As expected of the ninja, sharp as they should be. But I was slightly surprised that the Earth Ninja was the one who was staying. But then again, even I wasn't aware of the Ice Ninja's injury. Not that it fully matters. Now all I have to do is wait for their return.

I didn't have to wait long as they all stumbled out of the portal, and I said, "Well done in there. I hope it wasn't too much trouble."

They all gave me an annoyed look, but once Lloyd saw the mirror in front of me, he jumped up and grabbed his weapon.

"Drop your weapon, now." He said, determined. But the slight fear in his voice was a little too obvious to make him intimidating.

"Relax Green Ninja, it's just a mirror. Nothing more." I explained, making them all confused.

At least, for a while before the Water Ninja pieced it together and said, "You were watching us, weren't you?"

I smiled and said, "Of course. Why would I miss out on such good entertainment?"

"Is that why you do this? You used our memories to amuse yourself?" The Ice Ninja asked, but I just shrugged.

"In all fairness, that prison didn't have any concern for that sort of thing." I said, but that seemed to make them all angrier.

But instead of pushing that topic the Green Ninja just asked, "If you can see inside, can you show us?"

I could do that. It wouldn't be that difficult. But then again, I do love endings that are played out instead of ones that are rushed.

"Sorry, but that's not how it works. I'm the only one who can use this mirror." I responded. While none of them looked happy about that, none of them said anything.

Instead, the Water Ninja helped her comrade sit down and started working on his knee. All while the other two watched over me carefully.

"You keep an eye on them. And let us know when they're coming out." The Green Ninja said, with much less fear than before.

I just nodded and looked into the mirror. It's not like I would want to miss the best part.

Kai POV: I really wasn't expecting a giant hole opening up like that. And it wasn't the best feeling when I finally hit the ground. The sharp rocks bit into my arms and I groaned from the pain. This really isn't my day at all.

I slowly moved off the rocks and stood up to look around my surroundings. But everything was dim and a dark red that looked uncomfortably familiar. But I need to focus on finding the others first. Then I can worry about where that guy sent us. Even though I really feel uneasy with this place.

But right as I started to walk I heard a faint echoing roar ring from my right, making everything inside me freeze. I know that roar, and it made me realize where I was.

I was back there. Meaning I needed to run.

I moved just in time to avoid one of them hitting my shoulder and bolted. Already panting and not caring where I was going. Just far away from them. I can't die like this, but I can't go through this again.
