I've learned many things about Selphia since my arrival. For instance, if you eat pancakes in front of Venti without giving her any, she will get revenge… and no I won't go into further detail….
…Fine! She made a mini tornado in my room while I was sleeping… when I finally got free of it, I was all the way out by Yokmir forest… she completely blocked the rest of the forest off… it was not a good trip back.
Another thing I've learned is that magic is incredibly awesome. Most magic works by channeling RP or Rune power into spells learned from grimoires, and since I was helping Arthur, I had him source me some basic spells. the basic fireball, water laser, and earth spike, each was launched from the hand.
I've been told there are hundreds more spells many of them just upgrades of the basic ones I have now, but magic is very fun, especially when you use it for things its not meant for, i.e.; sniping Venti with a beam of water from across the palace so she couldn't get revenge. It was hilarious! She looked like a drowned rat!
*Ahem, anyways I've also got a few licenses and some cool crafting stations to go with them, I got my forging, crafting, and weirdly enough cooking license… yes for some ungodly reason you need a license to use more advanced cooking items like a blender… you heard me. You need a literal license to use a blender… I still haven't figured that one out and it's been weeks.
And now, onto more pressing matters, I've been using Yokmir forest to better hone my battle skills, and collecting drops from monsters and minerals from some ore nodes to create some pretty cool gear.
First off while I didn't craft it, an orc dropped its bandana, and now it's mine and it looks cool. No further questions.
Secondly, I made myself some leather boots, they aren't anything special but they do make traveling around the forest much easier.
And finally, I recently bought a ton of iron from this new traveling merchant, she's… really quiet, but she was nice enough to give me a discount on it all, and since I'm trying to practice more to become a better smith, it really helped me out.
"Finally! Ha!" I cried out, looking at my newly crafted dual blades, they while very basis in design, had been crafted with large insect horns, which I got from kicking some giant beetle's ass, and a round stone I fished up from the waterfall in the forest which I used for the pommels. Both of these things granted my new weapon a rough bit of extra damage, and somehow, they give a rare bit of extra oomph. I asked Bado why, but he just told me that everything in this world contains runes and Runies that can grant more magical effects i.e., a critical hit, elemental abilities like fire or earth, poisons, paralyzing agents and so on.
Taking a few moments to admire my new blades I put them in my belt sheaths, and grabbed the one potion I managed to get from Nancy as an emergency precaution after my last excursion.
Making sure my forge was at least somewhat in order, I went to go let Volkanon know I would be gone for most of the day and to put his worry at ease.
As I walked through Venti's chamber, I decided it would be a good idea to let her know as well seeing as how she was the closest friend I had. Looking up at the green dragon I could tell she wanted to say something rude but was somehow holding herself back. Damn dragon.
"Venti. I'm just stopping by to let you know I'm heading back out to the forest, I heard Forte mention something about a strong monster inside that I want to test my skill on, everything I've been fighting as of recent has gotten too weak for me to improve with." I told the green menace in front of me, who looked exasperated at not being able to try and bug me for the rest of the day.
"Haaaaaa…. I see. Well before you go, because of your idiocy last time you dolt, I'm going to give you one of my feathers as a charm to help keep your idiotic tendencies in check." She harrumphed grabbing a small feather from her wings, and forming a small bracelet with it and dropping it on my head.
"Rude. Though that's fair I suppose, but how is a feather supposed to protect me?" I asked rubbing my head from how hard her feather hit my head, and really how is a feather that heavy? That felt like 5 pounds!
She rolled her eyes at me and snorted, "heh, Hale, as a native dragon my very being represents the things I do, therefore any part of myself carries over part of the things I rule over such as protection and wind. Therefore, even a small feather such as that can be an incredible boon. It will allow you to run and fight faster, as well as give you a strong resistance against magic and some basic defense as well, and since it's a piece of me I can always find it, praise me mortal." She finished while praising her own prowess, while lording over me with that one mistake I made.
"Ha. ha. ha. You're hilarious Venti." I deadpanned at the giggling dragon, shaking my head before smiling, "but in all seriousness, thanks. This will help me a lot out there."
Looking up at her with a thankful nod, I head off into the plains set on my journey to Yokmir forest.
"God Its really quiet here today…" I spoke out to myself, noticing the rather tense air in the inner part of the forest causing the forest to be eerily quiet not even the more common monsters to be about.
Normally by now I wouldve found a couple of orcs roaming about or causing trouble somewhere, but not even a track could be found in the mud.
After another tense ten minutes, I began hearing some sort of… lip-smacking noise, sort of like when you go into a restaurant and the person sitting at the table next to you has no manners and attempts to chew the fabric of reality with every bite.
Crouching down and crawling through the underbrush as quietly as I could, I saw a giant caterpillar. That's right, a giant fucking caterpillar is the cause of all of the forests unrest… haah…
At a closer glance the tree the caterpillar was eating, and boy had it eaten a good few, there was some sort of bracelet stuck to the branch.
As I attempted to get a closer look, the caterpillar paused rather abruptly making me fear the worst. Anything that could eat trees that efficiently must pack some terrifying teeth. It began to spit out some sort of silk? And wrapped itself up into a cocoon. Must've been my lucky day so I just sat and watched until it was fully covered before creeping over and using my axe to finish knocking the tree down and grabbing, what I could now tell was a watch. I don't know why but it looked so familiar but I just couldn't place why.
Flipping it over to look at the face I noticed the face looked wrong, it didn't have any hands and it was just a black glass plating, was it broken?
Clicking the crown, the glass began to light up showing some sort of… ship? Each little thing I saw about this watch was almost forcing me to remember but nothing. The only thing that clicked was the now giant butterfly lady behind me as she cried out and immediately kicked me in the head from the air, throwing me back several feet before I even realised what happened, and into a large tree.
"ARGH! O-OW! Goddamn it!" crying out from the sudden pain, grabbing my blades and throwing the watch into my bag, I stood back up, watching as the damn monster launched a volley of razor-sharp butterflies at me, forcing me to dodge and roll.
Charging forward, both blades streaking towards her wings in my attempt to ground her, one behind the other, barely scratching the surprisingly strong wing.
'Damn… that didn't do shit! Ok Hale what's one thing all bugs are weak to…' thinking to myself while doing my best to dodge the onslaught of razor-sharp bugs and incredibly powerful kicks. 'Think goddamn it, Think! OH! That's it! FIRE!" my thoughts began to spill out as I started summon balls of fire and quickly started to lessen the amount of deadly bugs flying around me.
Interrupting my short celebration, the butterfly lady began an even more intense onslaught forcing me to go on the defensive as she nearly broke my arm with her kick.
Parrying another one of attacks, I began launching fireballs at her in an attempt to create an opening but no matter what she just kept plowing through them like nothing. In my panic, I overcharged the attack, frying my arm and causing me to go flying out of clearing and my blades to fly out of view.
"SHIT! Fuck OW!" I cried out, my arm was bleeding badly and that damn butterfly started to giggle at me, forcing my anger to rise to its all time high, "I was fine w-with all your goddamn kicks and deadly friends" I panted out, rising up from the ground holding up my very dislocated arm and using it to point at her, "BUT I REFUSE TO BE MADE FUN OF BY A GODDAMN, BASIC BITCH BUTTERFLY!" I cried as I channeled my remaining rune power into a ball of water, ready to be turned into a deadly blast of high-pressure death.
Just as I let the pressure release, she started screaming, forcing my eardrums to burst and the sounds to stop around me, forcing the world around me into silence. The blade laser of water met its target, creating an incredible wound and forcing the damn bag to start its dissipation.
I could tell by the large pulses in the air this monster was truly strong to attempt a resistance against the flashing warp, but it was no matter after a few 'truly' silent moments she vanished in a ball of light, flying into the sky, leaving behind a young girl probably no older than 15.
But before I go to investigate, I grab that vomit inducing potion and chug it back. Covering my mouth and in moments, my hearing slowly came back and my arm popped back into place with a not so nice pop ringing out.
Another minute passes as I recover from the potions after effects, and go take a look at the girl, who was knocked out.
She had short green hair, two antennae similar to the butterfly monsters and wings as well, although hers were more fairy like while the monsters looked more… mothic? (Like gothic and moth! Ba-dum-tiss)
Feeling for a pulse, I find one, albeit its rather weak feeling. I lift her onto my back and walk back to town, cursing the fact I couldn't use my new escape spell as I had used all my RP up.
Slowly trudging along, my body felt drained of all stamina possible. Stopping for a moment, I remember Porcoline (the owner of the inn, and the only restaurant in town) had mentioned that well prepared food can recover RP, I open my bag, shuffling stuff around until I found the slice of apple pie Clorica had given me that morning, and chowing down on its sweetness, God that girl is such a godsend… Dragon-send?
Channeling my newly regained RP to warp back home.
A short flash of light later, and I was in my room dirtying the incredibly fancy rug with mud and some sort of green goo from those razor bugs… 'hah I'll have to apologise to Vishnal later. But for now, I should get her to the clinic' nodding to myself I carefully trudged over to the clinic where I was greeted by both Jones and Nancy, the former lifting the girl off my back and gently placing her on the bed, while the latter was giving me a worried look.
"I'm mostly fine now Nancy, just a bit drained." Resting on a nearby stool, as I explained how I found her, Nancy ever the worry-wart started giving me a quick check-up, and after a few moments and realizing I was fine, went over to help Jones with the young girl.
Roughly ten or so minutes later, Jones came back, "Well Hale it seems she will be fine, she's just experiencing an incredible harsh case of RP exhaustion. While more severe than what I've seen before she'll recover perfectly fine in a day or two. Now Nancy already told me how you found her but I'm still having some trouble believing it. You're saying she was a monster and after you defeated her, she transformed? I've never heard of anything like that happening before, not once." He spoke rubbing his temples in confusion.
I just nodded at him in agreement, from what I've been told by both Volkanon and Venti monsters go back to the forest of beginnings after we defeat them where they can recover, live or even fight other monsters. There's never been a case where a monster turned into a person, the closest would be the demi-humans, which are a group of people that can turn themselves into monster forms, but with their normal intelligence.
"I'm going to let Lady Ventuswill know, let me know when she wakes up, I want to speak to her." I tell the silver haired doctor, who just nods as I leave.
Slowly walking back to the castle I remember the watch I found in the forest, after digging through my bag an pulling it out I press the crown turning on the screen, displaying the ship. After tapping it a couple of times and finding something called 'warp' underneath a small 8-bit image of a spaceship.
"Huh, I wonder what It means by warp? Is it some kind of teleporting item? And artifact or magic item of some sort perhaps?" talking to myself as I enter my side entrance into my room, closing the door behind me and shrugging my shoulders, "Eh, what's the harm. I've got full RP so if its dangerous I can always use escape to get back…" Tapping on it, causes a light blue light to shine from the device, causing the room to vanish from sight as the light warps me away.
As I looked around at my new surroundings, I know I recognized it but… no matter what I couldn't place it.
'Damn this place is big… I wonder what its for.' Thinking to myself as I wandered the long hall finding a door labeled 'storage', I entered.
Hoping to find something useful I was left… wanting.
Not to say it wasn't useful, an entire room 'more like an entire warehouse' for storing things would be great for any materials I collect. Unfortunately it was almost fully barren besides an old looking gray side bag with a golden clasp, a sticky note, some strangely familiar clothes, and a… hoe? Oh and a wad of cash!
Picking the bag up and swinging it over my shoulder, it fit my ensemble rather well all things considered. But that wasn't too important as of right now, reading the sticky note did entice me to take the bag more if it turned out to be true, 'Ah Hale if you are reading this you have found your new storage bag! Sorry once again for the universal destruction-'
I paused my reading from the sheer oddity that sentence was, 'universal destruction… that cant be real can it…?' continuing on, '-it was an accident I kinda regret, and since I didn't have much time to deeply explain how to use the ship in depth nor teach you the more unfortunate outcomes of travel. I left this neat bag! It connects directly to this hanger, you can put anything inside and it ends up here! though unless you sort it, it will just land in a big pile… not my problem heh heh… anyways to use it just reach inside and think of the thing you want to take out and it'll appear in your hand.
- Z̷͖̀͂̉ ̴̬̟͔̔̀͘͝l̶̨͇̘̏̑͗͝ ̶̰̥̣̍̋͗́ ̴̻̤̺̭̣͐̀͂̕t̷͙̑̄̚ ̴̭̒̿̀ ̸̡̧̭̺̝̈́h̸̹̱̺͙͊͗̈
…what the fuck…
Rereading the note as I rubbed my temples in thought. Who is this guy? His name is all… wonky but he seems like a pain in the ass… he somehow knows my name and Urgh this is making my head feel like shit.
Leaning against the wall of the ship and sliding down, letting the cold metal cool off my head, 'why does everything here feel so familiar? This place has to be related to me in some way but… I still cant place anything…urggghhhh! This is so frustrating! I wake up and find myself in some medieval world, I somehow survived falling from the sky and I still haven't been able to find a Fucking clue about myself other than my name!' slamming my fist onto the floor as a sob wailed out alongside a frustrated laughter.
'Alright Hale, pity party over. So what if your memories gone. Who needs those, not you I say, so get your ass up grab the free money. If the feeling I'm getting is right, it should convert over into gold once I go back! That's good, the money Volkanon gave you is long gone after you bought those workstations, so any cash is good cash.' Slapping my cheeks as I stood up, the ache in my head lingering for a moment before dissipating.
Exiting the room, as I wandered the halls of the rather sparse space ship, I found nothing else of note save for what I assume was the main control panel of the ship. Sitting down in the chair, I read over the glowing screen.

What the… while the races make no sense to me, the talents… or at least the sword master and smithing talents make sense… and, know that I'm thinking about it, the monsters favourite does as well. Ella bonded to me rather quick, and that Orc in the forest quite literally bit a chunk of my leg off like it was food…
Rubbing my chin as I sat in thought, my mind wandered back to the hoe in the storage area… is that the transforming tool?
Walking back over to the hanger to retrieve the tool, I cant help but think about the words on the terminal… what the hell is a jump-doc and why does it describe my situation so accurately, and was it the 'Falling Protocol' that sent me flying down onto Venti?
"Gah! None of this makes any sense!" crying out as I scratched at my head, "This ship is in some way related to me, I know about things that appear not to exist down on Earth. So many different machines that just don't exist like washing machines, dishwashers, cars, planes, and yet no one knows what I'm talking about when I bring them up!"
Pausing as I take in that last thought, "No one knows, because they don't exist here… am I an Alien? I mean, I'm almost certain this ship is related to me in some capacity, it feels familiar meaning I've had to have been here before… but then again, if I was an alien, why would I look so similar to everyone here?"
Calming down as I tried to piece together all of the information, "So, I either have to be an alien or aliens kidnapped me, erased my memory, and then abandoned the ship… no, even I can tell that doesn't make sense either, the watch I found in the forest feels incredibly important to me personally, so I couldn't have been kidnapped yet my memory is still gone…"
Sighing, "I'm going in circles here, I don't think I can believe the alien thing at all. Yet it's the most accurate theory I've had so far… I need more information… but for now I should get back before anyone worries about where I was…" cracking my neck, as it had gotten stiff in my stilled frustration, tapping the warp option on the watch again and I'm once more deposited back onto the planet below in a blue flash.
Blinking a few times, clearing the black spots in my vision leaving a mental reminder to close my eyes the next time I warp. Finding myself back in my room, not in the spot I warped from surprisingly but next to my bed, as if it was the same as my escape spell… interesting.
Snapping out of my thoughts, I check outside to find the stars already long since out, "Huh, I guess a few hours must've passed…" Feeling the full force of exhaustion from an incredibly strange day, from the monster turned girl, the ship and my relation to it. "Haaa… right, I still have to let Venti know."
Entering the main hall where that damn feathered lizard lives, I open it to see her casting some type of healing spell on the girl I rescued earlier, not seeing any improvements I head further into the hall catching Venti's flustered attention, "AH! Hale, why are you here so late?! You nearly gave me a heart attack! I think I deserve an apology!"
"Don't give me that, I know you just want to badger me into making more pancakes for you again. I've learned your tricks crafty dragon." Looking over to the green haired girl laying on the ground, I huff, "I was going to let you know about her but it seems she managed to find her own way here… I take it her sleeping is your doing? According to Jones she was experiencing an incredible level of RP Exhaustion, I take it you fixed that as well?" tilting my head at her, getting a nod in response.
"Ah… indeed! She- she wandered in as I was settling in for the night. Yes, and she was quite confused. Had It not been me she stumbled into I fear she wouldve wandered out in the forest… and yes, due to her currently exhausted body I healed her and used some sleeping magic on her… it wouldn't do to have a sweet girl like Amber doing more damage to herself…" shaking her head, seemingly to herself.
Unable to shake the feeling Venti wasn't telling the full truth, I wanted to ask her more but the sheer exhaustion I was feeling led my mind elsewhere, "Ah, that's right… any chance you can get her back to the clinic? I… I honestly don't think I can make it there right now…" feeling a sense of weakness in my body permeating throughout, I desperately needed sleep after today.
A worried glance turned to me as Venti examined me, "Hn, you really do seem out of sorts… are you alright, Hale?" her brows knitted together in a tight furrow, betraying her deep concern for her friends well-being.
Nodding slowly, "yea, I will I just need sleep… might be best to save this topic for another day when I've got it all sorted out in my head… good night, Venti… I'll have those pancakes ready for you in the morning, extra blueberry syrup…"
Shuffling back through the short hall to my room, not having the energy to hear what exactly Venti says as I enter my room, the cold marble like stone beneath my feet prompting me to quickly shuffle under the covers of my bed into the loving embrace of slumber.
"-ke Up Prince! It is time to wake up!" shuffling out of the room before I can fully wake up, I realise it must be Vishnal's day to wake me up… hah… is it rude to say I like it better when Clorica wakes me up? She always gives me such a nice breakfast to start my day…
Sighing as I open my eyes, seeing the sun already risen. Sitting up in concern as I realise just how late I woke up. "Hah… I didn't think I'd sleep so late; I need to get my field tended to before anything else." Getting ready for the day, as I'm about to get dressed I remember the clothes I found on the ship.
Laing them out on the bed, I once more get a familiar sense that I've seen or owned something similar at some point though it definitely wasn't in the kingdom of Norad… though, they are rather high quality.
Looking in the mirror, replacing my medieval looking attire (don't call them that to anyone else around here they get confused) I now wore a pair of nice denim jeans, a black jacket with white on the shoulders that feels much sturdier than my old clothing despite its thickness, a light blue shirt under that no longer hinders my movement nearly as much as before as my old shirt was really tight at the shoulders, and finally I had the same brown leather boots on as there wasn't any new ones on the ship.
Feeling much more comfortable I set out into the farm behind the small castle, watering and weeding the large field of turnips and moondrop flowers. Stopping as I'm continuously swapping between all of my older tools when I remember the hoe I found on the ship.
Reaching into the side-bag, I will it to appear and pull it out. "Now, if that terminal wasn't lying, you should be able to transform…" turning it over in my hand as I look for any clues, not finding anything I take a gander around the field and notice a single turnip I hadn't yet watered, in a small earth-toned flash of light, the hoe turned into a watering can. "Oh, that makes this much easier than I believed… now, what is it limited to?"
Spending the next half an hour playing around getting it to transform as I run around the field, transforming it to help break apart rocks and split tree trunks that had seemingly appeared over night (Venti explained it to me one afternoon, apparently when Runies are in large amounts, the earth just… grows? Into rocks, logs, boulders of varying densities, and even stumps… no it makes no sense to me either but no one ever listens to the amnesiac…)
Finding the limits of my new tool was rather simple, it was a: brush, shears, hoe, watering can, trowel, hammer, axe, scythe, fishing rod, wrench, pliers, screwdriver (all types), saw, level, mallet, tape measure… it was a lot more things as well but it for some reason cant turn into anything electrical, yet it feels like it should be capable of doing so… almost as if its limited for some reason?
An hour later, the field cleared and looking pristine (it would be a mess yet again tomorrow morning), I felt I deserved a good break and taking a whiff of myself, I could feel the bathhouse calling me.
Making my way through the town, I notice a familiar head of grayish hair rushing about in front of the bathhouse. Smiling as its always fun seeing Xaio Pai, as her bubbly personality is infectious and its really motivating seeing her work as she's always getting something done… if at the cost of her constant bad-luck turned clumsiness.
Seeing her tending to the small flower garden in front of the building, I walk up behind her and tap her shoulder causing her to jump, chuckling at her reaction, only to laugh more at her pout. "ha-ha im-hoo… I'm sorry, it was just the perfect opportunity. You weren't paying attention to anything else."
"You can be really mean sometimes, you know." Turning her head away from me, I continued to apologize only to be ignored more.
Sighing with a slight smile on my face, I reach into my bag and pull out a container. "Hah… I guess I'll just have to eat all of this fried rice by myself… if only I had a friend to split this giant container with…" watching her head snap up and slowly turned towards me with an expectant look in her eye.
"As an apology, you will share, yes?" holding out her hands as she talked, chuckling as a small blush grew on her face.
Nodding, "of course, how could I not share with one of my friends. Especially since you and your mother have been so helpful to me getting adjusted here." that's no joke either, had I only the castle staff to rely on I fear all judgements of this world would have been greatly skewed by the butlers in-human abilities, and Venti's own… inexperience with the human side of things. Lin Fa has been a great help and Xaio Pai has helped teach me so much about cooking to the point I know for a fact I never cooked, or at least hadn't properly learned to cook before I lost my memories…
Getting a slight nod and as if my existence had started to face, Xaio Pai took off with the food I gave her into the building… "I'm not getting that container back am I…" shaking my head in amusement, I stop by the counter, letting Lin Fa know I was there for the bath, paying as I sadly ran out of free bath-passes shortly after arriving in Selphia.
Undressing and washing off, I enter the bath taking note of the lion like statue spewing hot water into the bath although, it almost seems like somethings sticking out behind it… why Is there a bag of… giantizer? The hell is giantizer… whatever, I'll throw it in my bag if Lin Fa doesn't want it.
An hour later, I checked with her and she in fact, did not want it. Though she did seem annoyed that a customer of hers would bring something like that into the bath of all places… no clue why.
Seeing the afternoon sky, I remembered what had happened the previous day my mind only catching up properly now. "I should probably head to the clinic to see how that kid is doing." Making my way on the long path, eventually coming upon the clinic. I enter to find the girl sitting on the bed talking with Nancy and Jones.
Walking up to the trio and getting a curious look from the green haired girl, a smile from Nancy and a nod from Jones. Nodding back at him, and turning to face the butterfly girl, "Nice to meet you, I'm Hale. I was the one who found you in the forest." Holding out my hand for her to shake as I finished talking.
Tilting her head at me as she curiously looked at my hair and felt her own, "Ah! I'm Amber! Are you my brother!" a small somewhat pleading and shaky smile started to grow on her face as she waited for my answer.
Looking over at the clinic operators, only to get uncertain looks back, I faced Amber once more before frowning slightly, "I… I don't know. We definitely have similar hair colors but I lost my memory a while back, and cant say with any certainty if we are…" getting a teary-eyed look in response, I looked over to Jones and Nancy for help.
Nodding solemnly, Jones eyes swept over to Amber, looking at her for a moment as she curled up on the bed, before looking back over to me, "Amber's situation is… similar to your own as she too has lost her memory. We cant say for certain why, but it doesn't seem to be lost in the same fashion as your own. yours is… difficult to understand, no underlying trauma that we can identify, not magical in nature as otherwise Lady Ventuswill would have been able to fix it… Amber's seems to have been caused by some sort of tragic event, at least, that's what it seems to stem from as her case doesn't seem as bad as your own as she has some vague feelings of her past."
'Ah, we do have some things in common I suppose… but' glancing over at the young green-haired girl curled up on the bed, her head tucked in her knees 'she seems so young, I'm only handling it as well as I am because I can clear my head more easily from my age and even then I'm struggling to come to terms with some of the stuff I've started to discover… I cant imagine how she's dealing with it… unless that's why she had asked if I was her brother? She was looking for some form of structure to help deal with her missing memory?'
Giving a small sigh, I patted her on the back drawing her teary-eyed expression out from her knees, "I cant say for certain if we're related but if you want, I can be your brother, no matter if we're related or not, if that's okay?" immediately, being assaulted with a tight hug, Amber, rather my younger sister hugged me for a solid few minutes before letting go and drying her eyes.
Looking at me with red eyes and a large smile on her face, "Thanks Hale… Brother! He-he! I've got a brother!"
Glad that the sadness had seemingly vanished from her, I let out a chuckle in relief, I had family now too… it's a nice feeling…
Ah… where is she going to live… I only have a smallish room in the castle… and its not even what I'd call a castle in the first place… its more or less just my room, the rooms for Clorica, Vishnal and Volkanon, and then the largest room for Venti which is more or less just a giant gazebo like room since its open-roofed… there might be a kitchen, bathrooms, closets and several smaller rooms but nothing resembling another bedroom…
Thankfully my questions were soon answered by Illuminata bursting through the door, she's a rather… driven? elf that runs the flower shop, she loves mysteries, if a little too much but from my interactions with her she feels like a good person.
Watching her zoom up to us as she begins to study Amber from afar, and the two begin to talk. Looking at the two, I get another strange sense of déjà vu, almost as if I should remember something about them but cant…
Shaking my head as the harder I attempt to remember the larger my headache becomes. It seems in my short time of trying to remember Illuminata decided to give Amber a room to stay in. Thankfully that means I wont have to commission Volkanon with some sort of project room for her, even if that means my new sister will have to live somewhere else, though its not as though we wont be able to see each other often.
Talking a little more with Amber, her Rp exhaustion was starting to affect her some more, and I got kicked out by Nancy…
Heading home for the day, I had a vague feeling I had forgotten to cook something…
Center Castle Room – Venti
Tapping my foot, I had spent all day waiting for Hale to bring me the pancakes he had promised. 'He had seemed really out of it yesterday after he returned with Amber, so I suppose I can forgive him this once…'
'But the next time…' an evil smirk grew on the dragons face as she began to plot, 'next time I wont be so forgiving…'
Almost beginning to cackle, but had to stop as Volkanon entered the main hall where I reside. Taking notice of him, as he began his cleaning duties. I had to hold back my laughter to keep my dignified and formal look for the people… 'not that Hale cares, that guy! Ooh-hoo-hoo, the next time I see him, if he isn't nice to me I'm going to whirlwind his room again.
That'll teach him for trying to show my caring side to others… I need to keep my distance from everyone or it will happen again… just like the last few did…
Shaking her head, she begins to daydream of forgotten pancakes and older times with close friends
That folks, is the end of chapter 3. I'm not to sure how long the Rune Factory arc will be but I'm thinking anywhere from 10 chapters to 13 at the most. Mainly so I can establish Hale a little better in this world, and have him make more connections here. though he wont be getting his memory back to soon. Gotta give him more depression after all, no one likes a mc with no mental problems! Just joking, he wont have depression… yet.
Anyways question time for yall! For those of you that know the Rune factory franchise, who do you think Hale will end up dating? Just for clarification he going for the bachelorettes, and I'm taking Clorica and Xaio Pai off the table as they both (to me) seem to young, that's why they've settled into the little sister role.
