"Sorry bud, just a bit further", Hiccup and Toothless had already passed quite many milestones. Hiccup also saw the Northern Pass, which was usually considered a myth by many. Today was a different day, he was now free of the bonds of society, free to do as he wished. Then he saw land, "Okay bud, since the sun is rising east this must be... south!" he said as he began laying his eyes on the isle.

The land was perfect, the only real downside being a bit of a dense and mountainous country side that separated him from the other part of the island. He told Toothless to go down, he began preparing a tent and got some wood for a campfire. Toothless fell asleep, laying his head on the ground, waiting for his master. "This has to be enough" he laid down the wood he had managed to find.

After a bit, with the help of some flint, he managed to set it ablaze, he set up the tent and moved Toothless inside. He decided to finally take a rest. "Goodbye bud, have a nice night!"

But he was not the only inhabitant, on the other side was a small town, another Viking colony. A scout spotted the smoke and reported it to the chief. "Well, we might have some delinquents who have landed on our island!" he told the scout, "By tomorrow we will send a party, go and prepare yourselves" he ordered. Tomorrow was not going to be a peaceful day.

Meanwhile, a few days after

"..Where...am...I?" Astrid said groggily, she had awoken from the black out that was caused by the little maneuver Hiccup did, luckily it wasn't severe. "She's awake, send her to the Meade hall at once, the Althing request to see her. Gothi, who was inside the room frowned, her face almost pale. She did not know what awaited her, as she stood at the new council, led by Stoick, he looked frustrated. "You! The lass who let my son die!" he shouted with thunder in his voice, "What, he didn't return?" she said with worry. "Yes! Thanks to you Berk has no heir!", some in the crowd murmured with happiness or some sorrow. "Your judgment will be complete soon! Send her to the training grounds, lock her up" he commanded. Astrid begged and cried, but was silenced and thrown away to rot.

She waited and waited, never to get a response, not even a visit from her parents. Astrid slowly went insane, then the day came. Gobber knocked on the cell, he didn't really have an expression of anything really, he spoke with a sorrow "I'm sorry Astrid, but.. you might not make it..."

So what will happen next, will Astrid be executed or spared, and will Hiccup defeat his unknown foes?
