At Max's house, Elle was brushing her teeth. She thought back to everything that happened and wondered what was happening.

Once she was done brushing, Elle went into Max's room and got on the bed next to Max.

Max showed Elle to comic books. One of Wonder Woman, the other of Green Lantern.

"Which one?" she asked.

"I don't know," Elle replied.

Max saw the look on Elle's face. "Hey, there's nothing to worry about anymore, okay?"

"It doesn't make sense."

"What doesn't make sense?"

"Heather, the blood, the ice."

"Heather had a fever, so she took a cold bath, but she's better now. That has to be it. I don't know where that blood came from, but we saw her. We both saw her. She's fine."

"What about Billy?"

"What about him?"

"He seemed wrong."

"'Wrong' is his default, but it's nice to know he's not a murderer. That would've totally sucked."

Elle looked at the comics.

"Who is that?" she asked.

"This is why you can't just hang out with Mike all the time," said Max. "This is Wonder Woman. She's from this hidden island where there are only women Amazon warriors."

At Driscoll's house, some patient transporters have just tied Mrs. Driscoll to a gurney.

"We need you to stay calm," one said.

"I have to go back!" Driscoll screamed over and over.

As Driscoll was being transported out of the house onto an ambulance, the cops stood in utter confusion.

"I'm sorry," said Callahan. "Can someone explain what the hell just happened?"

Nancy and Jonathan stood there with fear in their eyes.

The ambulance drove past the mill. Driscoll reached her hand out, begging to be brought there.

In the mill, Tom and Janet woke up tied up and gagged. They were both crying.

Billy and Heather approached them. Heather removed the gag from Tom.

"Sweetie, whatever this is, whatever's gotten into you, don't do it," said Tom. "You can stop this."

"There is no stopping it, Daddy," said Heather. "You'll see."

Billy removed Janet's gag and covered her mouth before she could say anything.

"Try not to move," he said.

Billy and Heather left the room. Their master approached Tom and Janet. It attached its tentacles to their faces.

Stranger Things 3

Chapter 4

The Sauna Test

Hopper woke up aching all over.

"Careful," he heard someone say. That someone was Joyce.

Hopper wanted to say something, but then he started to feel sick. Joyce noticed this and grabbed a bowl. Hopper aimed towards the bowl and let it all out. Joyce did her best not to watch.

When Hopper was done, he asked, "How long have I been out?"

"A while," Joyce replied. "You've been drifting in and out."

"But how did I get here?"

"Move slowly."

Hopper sat up slowly and took the pills Joyce offered.

"You need to rest," said Joyce.

"I'm fine," Hopper assured.

"You're not, though."

Hopper got up, revealing his naked body. Joyce looked away.

Hopper realized he was naked. "Where are my clothes?"

Hopper got a towel and wrapped it around him. Joyce led him outside where his wet clothes were drying. Hopper then walked back inside.

"Did you recognize that thug?" Joyce asked.

"I didn't get a good look," Hopper replied.

"He's gotta be government, right?"

"If he's government, why was he running? What was he even doing down there?"

"Let's ask him."

Joyce showed a sheet of paper with her. It had a few letters and numbers.

"What's that?" asked Hopper.

"His license plate," Joyce replied.

"What are the dashes?"

"Blanks. There was either an H or P with the part rubbed off, and there was definitely a Y."

"I think you should stick to sales." Hopper walked into another room to get changed.

"Can't you run a search?" asked Joyce.

"You gotta lower expectations," said Hopper. "This is a state government agency. It'll take weeks before they find a match, if we're lucky. What are the odds that this guy registers a car with his own name?"

"It wasn't a car."

Hopper opened the curtain, and showed himself in some nice clothes.

"What are you wearing?" asked Joyce.

Hopper ignored that and asked, "What do you mean it wasn't a car?"

Max woke up to the sound of Lucas' voice saying, "This is a code red. Max, do you copy?"

Max picked up her walkie and shut it off without saying a word.

A few seconds later, the phone rang.

"You've got to be kidding me," Max muttered, annoyed. She answered the phone. "I'm sleeping. Go away."

"This is Mike," said Mike's voice. "Don't hang up. Something happened. Something bad. Will is missing. Our very lives can be at stake."

"What are you talking about?"

"Just come over to my house. We'll explain everything. Hurry."

The line disconnected.

"What did he say?" asked Elle.

At the mall, Dustin watched as some Russians used a keycard to enter the backroom.

Dustin met up with Barb, Steve, and Robin at the Scoops Ahoy.

"That keycard opens the door," he explained. "But unfortunately, the one with the keycard has a massive gun. Whatever's in that room, whatever's in those boxes, they really don't want anyone finding it."

"There's gotta be another way in," said Robin.

"I could just take the guard out," Steve suggested. "What? I sneak up behind him, I knock him out, and I take the keycard. Easy."

"Did you not hear the part about the gun?" asked Barb.

"Yes, Barb, I did," said Steve. "That's why I'll be sneaky."

"Well, please, tell me this, and be honest, have you ever won a fight?" asked Dustin.

"That was the one time against Billy," Steve retorted.

"What about Tommy?" asked Dustin.

Robin noticed something and muttered, "That just might work."

Robin ran out of the kitchen, grabbed the tips, and ran out of Scoops Ahoy.

"Robin, what are you doing?" asked Steve.

"I need cash," Robin replied.

"A third of that is mine. Where are you going?"

"To find a way into that room, a safe way. In the meantime, sling ice cream, behave, and don't get beat up."

At the post, Nancy and Jonathan were sitting, waiting for the cops to finish talking with the boss. When they left, Tom stared at Nancy and Jonathan with fire in his eyes.

"Nancy, Jonathan," he told them, gesturing to them to come into his office.

The two went into his office and sat down.

"I worked at this paper for twenty-five years," he told them. "Twenty-five years. We're a small town paper, but we have something big papers don't have. Trust. The trust of our community."

"Tom if you just…" Nancy tried to say, about to lose her patience.

"Do you know how I built that trust?" Tom asked in an uncharacteristic aggressive tone. "By placing my faith in something you two don't seem to value a whole lot: facts! Let's go over them. First, you disobeyed a direct order to stop pursuing the story! Second, you falsely identified yourselves as reporters, repeatedly lying to an elderly! Third, you broke into her home, committing trespass! Fourth, she almost died on the way to the hospital!"

"She would've died if we hadn't shown up! Whatever disease that rat had clearly passed onto her…"

"FIFTH!" Tom screamed. "Mrs. Driscoll is a paranoid schizophrenic! You didn't know that, did you? Seriously? Disease carrying rats? The second coming of the plague? Does that sound credible to you, or does this sound like the delusions of a sick old lady? Her family is furious, to the point where they threatened litigation! In my entire professional career, I never dealt with anything like it! Hopefully, you've learned how in the workplace, there are consequences to your actions!"

Hearing this man screaming all this towards her just built up more and more rage in Nancy. She finally snapped. "You know, you're one to talk! You talk big about facts, so let me give you some! You never gave me ANY respect from the moment I started working here! Any time I tried to share an idea, you made fun of me! You treat me as some delivery girl! You never give me a real job, and why? Because I'm a girl? These past two years have been very stressful for me! I can only handle so much! I QUIT!"

Nancy slammed her ID on the ground to signify she won't work there anymore.

"I quit too," Jonathan said calmly. He softly put his ID on the table.

Elle and Max biked over to Mike's house. They sat with Lucas and Elvis in the basement as Mike explained everything.

"When I last saw Will," Mike explained. "He was biking away from my house. Lucas, Elvis, and I went over to his house to apologize to him for the way I acted, but he wasn't there. We looked through the windows but couldn't see it. We searched the area around the house. We found Will's old fort, but it was destroyed. Will was nowhere to be found. The last time Will went missing, it was because of the creatures in the Upside-Down. I think they're back."

"But I closed the gate," said Elle.

"But what if the Mind Flayer never left?" Mike suggested. "What if we locked him out here with us?" Mike grabbed a piece of paper and drew his best interpretation of the Mind Flayer as he could. "This is the Mind Flayer, and a part of it attached itself to Will." He wiped the crayon, getting some on his hand. "Mrs. Byers got it out of him, and Elle closed the gate." He flipped the paper over. "But the part that was in him, what if it's still in our world?" He put his dusted hand on the paper, leaving a handprint. "In Hawkins."

"I don't understand," said Max. "The demo-dogs died when Elle closed the gate. If the brain dies, the body dies."

"We can't take chances," said Mike. "We need to assume the worst. The Mind Flayer's back, and if he is, it'd want to attach itself to someone again. Maybe not just Will, but multiple hosts."

"But how can you tell if someone's a host?" asked Elle.

Hopper and Joyce drove over to the city hall. They got out of the car and walked inside.

"Is he in?" Hopper asked the receptionist.

"He is, but he's busy," she replied.

Hopper ignored her and barged into the office.

"Tony, I'll have to call you back," Kline said to the guy on the phone before hanging up. "Hey, Jim."

"I know you're busy," said Hopper. "So I'll make this fast. I'm looking for the name of a guy. He was here the other day, and rides a motorcycle. Big build, square jaw, black hair. He's probably military, or ex-military. Is this ringing any bells?"

"I don't think so."

"Really? It was just two days ago, right before I saw you."

"It might be the maintenance guy. I don't remember his name. Gary or John or something. Candice has his name on file. We had trouble with the plumbing."

Hopper could tell Kline was lying. "Are you meeting with a lot of plumbers? This guy was coming out of your office."

"Okay, I don't remember that," said Kline. "I shake a lot of hands, you know."

"Do you remember when I caught you passed out in the hideaway with all that powder all over your nose?" asked Hopper.

"Jim, come on."

"Do you remember when me and the boys caught you and Candice camking out like a couple of bunnies in the back of your Cadillac? Do you remember that? Does your wife remember that?"

"You really want to play this game?"

"It's not a game, Larry."

"Okay. Those pills you used to swallow like candy. I can't recall, did you have a prescription for those? Or how about smoking on duty? We have some real fun stories about that. One call to Tom at the post and you're done. Oh, and please, don't give me that dead daughter sob story, because I don't care. Now, if you don't mind, I'm busy."

Kline was about to walk out of the office, but Hopper wasn't having it. He grabbed Kline and punched him in the nose.

"DAMMIT!" Kline screamed. "YOU PUNCHED MY GOD DAMN NOSE!"

"Your friend almost killed me last night, so I say we're still not even," said Hopper. "Who is this guy? Government? Military?"

"You're making a big mistake," Kline teased.

"Who is he?" asked Hopper.

"It's Arnold Schwarzenegger," Kline joked.

Hopper punched Kline again.

"Are you insane?" asked Kline.

"I don't know," Hopper replied. "Let's find out."

"Okay, I don't know his name, I swear. But he gives me things sometimes. Money, presents, gifts. He works for Starcourt. They own the mall. They want to expand East Hawkins. They needed property, land. Some didn't want to sell, so I leaned on them a little. That's all."

"Why do they want this land?"

"I told you, I don't know."

"Do you have records of these land purchases?"

"You don't wanna mess with these people."

"You should worry about yourself, not me. The records. Where are they?"

Nancy and Jonathan drove away from the post. Nancy was still angry.

"That was all bullshit!" she yelled. "He means to tell me Driscoll's insane and the rat's just a rat, and it's all some big coincidence? You know? I think Tom's on drugs. He looked tired and he was a lot meaner than normal." She saw Jonathan's face and knew he wasn't taking it seriously. "Is this funny to you?"

"No, it's crazy how you keep trying to convince yourself," said Jonathan. "I told you over and over to drop the story. That it was a bad idea. But you refused."

"It's just a summer job. Your life is hardly over."

"I don't live in a two-story house on Maple Street. My dad doesn't earn six figures. Hell, he isn't even around."

"God, here comes the Oliver Twist routine."

"Mortgage, College Tuition. They're real things, Nancy. Things you don't care about, only because you don't have to."

"I didn't realize I lived in a bubble!"

"Well, you do! You want everything handed to you on a silver platter! We were interns, Nancy! What did you expect? That you'd make a star reporter in a month and crack the big case?"

"You sound just like them. You realize that, right? Just like Bruce and those assholes…"

"Those assholes gave us jobs."

"Is that what it was? It was humiliating?"

"Yeah, the real world sucks. Deal with it like the rest of us."

Tears formed around Nancy's eyes. "You don't know what it's like."

"Neither do you."

"Then I guess we don't understand each other as much as we thought."

Robin returned to the Scoops Ahoy with a map of the entire mall.

"It is amazing what twenty bucks can get you at the County Recorder's Office," said Robin. "The complete blueprints of Starcourt Mall."

"That's awesome," Barb smiled at her crush.

"So this is Scoops," Robin explained, pointing at the location. She then pointed to the bottom of the blueprint. "That's where we want to get."

"I don't see a way in," said Steve.

"There's not," said Robin. "If you're talking about doors." She showed another blueprint revealing air ducts. "Turns out, this secret room needs air like any other room, and these ducts lead all the way here."

Steve climbed up to the duct and unscrewed the cover. The duct was a pretty cramped space.

"I don't think we can fit in here," said Steve. "It's super tight."

"I'll fit," said Dustin. "No collar bones, remember?"

"What?" asked Robin.

"Oh, he's got a disease," Barb explained. "Chryo something or other. He's missing bones and stuff. He can bend like Gumbo."

"You mean Gumby?"

"I'm sure it's Gumbo."

"Shut up and push me!" Dustin shouted.

Barb got on the ladder to push Dustin's feet.

"Not my feet, my ass," said Dustin. "Touch my ass! I don't care!"

Robin watched as Barb tried pushing Dustin. It was annoying, but Robin couldn't help but smile at Barb's attempts.

Robin then heard the bell ring.

"Ahoy sailors!" Erica called. "All hands on deck! Get over here and serve me some samples!"

Robin smiled. She got an idea.

At the pool, Mike, Lucas, Elvis, Elle, and Max all watched as Billy was watching the kids. Billy was wearing sunglasses and a shirt, while sitting in the shade.

"I don't know, he looks normal to me," said Max.

"How many times have you seen him with a shirt on?" asked Lucas.

"Okay, it's a little weird," said Max.

"He was in a tub with ice," Mike retorted. "The Mind Flayer likes it cold."

"But he's lounging at a pool," said Max. "That's the least Mind Flayer thing ever."

"Not necessarily. The Mind Flayer likes to hide. It only used Will when it needed him. It's like you're dormant, and then, when he needs you, you're activated."

"So we wait until he's activated."

"But what if he hurts someone? We can't take that chance. We need to find out if he's the host. Wait, I've got an idea. Boys, follow me."

"Seriously?"

"Just trust me on this one."

Lucas and Elvis followed Mike into the Men's workout room.

"So we wait until the pool's closed and everyone leaves," said Mike. "We lure him here." He was referring to the sauna. "And the controls are right next to the door. It's perfect. We just have to figure out how to get him in here. Then we lock him in, and heat him up. No matter what happens, we'll know."

Erica looked into the duct.

"I don't know," she said.

"You don't know if you can fit?" asked Dustin.

"I can fit. I just don't know if I want to."

"Are you claustrophobic?"

"I don't have phobias. The problem is I still haven't heard what's in it for me."

Steve begrudgingly made Erica multiple ice cream sundaes, splits, and cones. Now Erica was willing to do this.

"So, this is the route you're gonna take," Robin said, showing Erica the blueprint and the marked route. "Then you wait for the delivery tonight, then you knock out the grate, jump down, and open the door."

"Then you find out what's in those boxes?" asked Erica.

"Exactly."

"And you say the guard is armed? You know what this half-baked plan of yours sounds like to me? Child endangerment."

"We'll be in radio contact the whole time."

"Uh-uh. Child endangerment."

"Erica," said Dustin. "We think these Russians want to do harm to our country. Great harm. Don't you love your country?"

"You can't spell 'America' without 'Erica'," Erica replied.

Dustin thought about it and realized that Erica was right. "Yeah. That's oddly true. So don't do it for us. Do it for your country. Do this for America, Erica."

Erica was slurping a float while Dustin was making that speech. When she finished, she said, "Oh, I just got the chills. From this float, not the speech. You know what I love most about this country? Capitalism. The free market system. People get paid for their services depending on how valuable their contributions are. My ability to fit into that little vent is very valuable to you all, so if you want my help, this better be the first of many. I'm talking about free ice cream for life."

Kline led Hopper and Joyce to his mansion. When they walked inside, Hopper noticed the zebra mat on the floor.

"That's not real," Kline assured.

"No shit!" said Hopper.

Kline led the two to a safe and opened it. He handed the contents to Hopper.

"What are we looking at?" asked Hopper.

"Land deeds, that sort of thing," said Kline.

"So, your buddies at Starcourt," said Hopper. "They suddenly start buying up all this property. Did they tell you why?"

"I told you, they don't tell me anything."

"So they're using you, I get it. What I don't get is why you have a bunch of land deeds in a safe in your bedroom."

"These people are bad news."

"So this is blackmail?"

"Protection."

That's when Joyce noticed something. She found a map of Hawkins nearby.

"Hess Farm, Henry's place, Bullocks, they're all here," said Joyce. "They're all in Southeast Hawkins. They're all near Jordan Lake. You know what else is near Jordan Lake? The Power Plant. Four nights ago, there was a huge power outage, and the next day, the magnets fell. Scott says this machine would take a massive amount of power to run. So what if this machine does exist? Maybe we didn't find it at the lab because it wasn't at the lab. It's at one of these properties."

"I want you to forget about the sales," said Hopper. "I want you to come work for me at the Hawkins PD."

"And have to look at your face every day?" Joyce retorted. "I don't think so."

But as she looked at Hopper, she started to ponder in her head if that would really be a bad idea.

Her thoughts were interrupted, however, when they heard a noise. They saw Kline trying to escape. Hopper ran after him and grabbed him.

"Where do you think you're going?" asked Hopper as he grabbed Kline and cuffed him to a chair.

At the Wheelers', Karen went to Nancy's room. Ever since she came home, she went into her room and didn't come out. Karen got concerned and knocked on the door. After a while, Nancy answered. Karen saw how upset Nancy was.

Nancy and Karen walked downstairs as Nancy explained everything that happened.

"Jonathan's right," she said. "I wasn't thinking about him. I wasn't thinking about anyone, really. I just wanted to be right. I thought I was. I just didn't want to think I'm wrong, because if I am, then I'm what everyone thinks I am. Just a kid who has no idea what she is doing."

Karen understood what Nancy's going through.

"It's not easy out there, Nancy," she said. "People always say you can't, that you shouldn't. That you aren't smart or good enough. This world, it beats you up again and again until… Most people just stop trying. But you're not like that. You're a fighter. You always have been. I honestly don't know where you get it from."

"Dad," Nancy replied.

"I think you were swapped in the hospital, to tell the truth."

"No, I get it from you."

"Wherever you get it from, I'm proud of you. I'm proud that you stood up for yourself. That you stood up for those dickheads. Yes. Those dickheads. And if you believe in this story, finish it. Go and sell it to the Indianapolis Star, and that post will be surprised to see their town in a big paper like that."

"That would be amazing."

"So why not? Why not finish it?"

The mother and daughter hugged each other.

Lucas and Elvis went into the pool's maintenance room.

"Hey, Elvis," said Lucas. "I could tell you were genuinely enjoying Will's campaign. I'm sorry for ruining it. Mike and I shouldn't have…"

"It's okay, Lucas," Elvis interrupted. "I don't care right now. We've got bigger things to worry about." He found a chain. "This should hold him."

Elsewhere, Elle found a mannequin. Mike saw it.

"That is creepy," he remarked. "It should work." He then realized now was the best time to apologize since he and Elle were alone. "Hey, Elle? When I said Nana was sick, I lied."

"I know," Elle assured.

"Right, no, I just…" Mike tried to say, but couldn't find the words. "I think it's important to know the context. Hopper went crazy on me, telling me I'm spending way too much time with you. You're the most important thing in the world. But, what he did is no excuse for what I did. If you don't wanna be my girlfriend anymore, I understand."

"Guys, where are you?" Max asked through the walkie.

"We're coming, hold on," Mike answered.

That night, in the mall, Erica was preparing to crawl through the vent.

"Erica, do you copy?" asked Robin through the radio.

"I copy," Erica replied. "You nerds in position or what?"

"Yeah, we're in position. It's all quiet here, so you got the green light."

"Got it. Commence Operation Child Endangerment. See you on the other side, nerds."

Erica crawled through the vent. It was pretty cramped, but she managed.

Hopper and Joyce drove over to one of the places near Jordan Lake. They searched and found nothing.

"This place is dead," said Hopper. "Where to next?"

"Hess Farm," Joyce replied.

They drove to their next stop.

Erica kept crawling through the vent until she saw a cover.

"I'm here," she said. "I see the boxes."

"Any guards?" asked Robin.

"No."

Erica kicked the duct open and found the button that opens the door. She pushed the button and walked out, where the others were waiting for her.

"Free ice cream for life," she said.

At the pool, Billy was getting ready to leave. He heard a noise.

"The pool's closed," he called out to the person.

He followed the noise to see who it was. He realized he couldn't leave. The door out wouldn't budge.

"Billy," he heard a voice call out. "Billy!"

"You think this is funny?" said Billy. "If I find you, it's your funeral."

He followed the voice to a sauna. He opened the door to reveal a mannequin with a walkie attached to it.

"Come and get me, you piece of shit," said the voice on the speaker.

Billy knew that something was off. He had no idea who was wanting to lure him in there. He was about to turn around when he felt someone shove him against the wall.

"Now!" a voice shouted.

Mike, Elle, Lucas, Max, and Elvis ran towards them. Elle used her powers to shut the door. The others used the chains and locks to keep the door shut.

Billy tried to force the door open, but couldn't. He saw Max in the group.

Max felt bad knowing what she was about to do. However, she knew it was a risk worth taking for the greater good.

"Do it," she said.

Elvis ran to the thermostat and turned it all the way up.

Nancy drove to the hospital. She walked inside and approached the front desk.

"Hi," she said to the receptionist. "I'm here to see Doris Driscoll. I think she was admitted last night."

"Name and relation?" asked the woman.

"Nancy Wheeler," Nancy replied. "I'm a friend."

Nancy was given a visitor pass and led to Driscoll's room, 403. Nancy decided to check her file, but then she noticed something off about Driscoll.

The Scoop Group walked into the back room. They opened a box to reveal a strange substance. Whatever it was, it definitely wasn't Chinese food.

"You might want to stand back," said Barb.

Steve, Robin, and Erica did as they were told. Dustin didn't, though.

"If you die, then I die," he said.

"Okay," said Barb.

Barb pulled out a container to reveal a strange green substance.

Everyone heard a rumble.

"Is it just me, or did the room move?" asked Dustin.

"It's a trap," said Erica.

Dustin went to the "Open Door" button to open the door. It didn't open. Another door shut in front of the main door. The room started to shake even faster. Steve noticed the wall moving up.

"Oh shit," he said.

They were in a giant elevator.

Back in the hospital, the heart monitor showed Driscoll's heart rate and temperature going up at a fast pace. Driscoll was breathing as if the room was too hot for her.

"Max, let me out!" Billy demanded as he banged on the glass. "You kids think this is funny? You kids think this is a sick prank, huh? What is this? Open the door. Open the door! Open the goddamn door!"

Billy fell to the floor.

Elvis looked at the thermostat. It was at the highest temperature.

"It's not my fault," Billy cried. "I promise, it's not my fault."

Max moved closer to the glass and saw Billy sitting on the ground, crying.

"What's not your fault?" Max asked.

"I've done bad things," said Billy. "I didn't mean to. He made me do it. It was like a shadow. Please Max, it's not my fault. Please believe me. I tried to stop him. Please believe me."

"Billy, it'll be okay," Max assured. "You just have to talk to us."

Max noticed Billy about to grab a shard from the damaged wall. She stepped back as quickly as she could.

Billy ran to the door and hit the glass with the shard. The glass shattered.

"Let me out!" he demanded. "I'll gut you…"

Lucas launched a rock off his slingshot, and hit Billy in the head. He fell to the ground. The kids noticed the lights starting to flicker. They heard Billy let out a roar.

In the hospital, the lights in Driscoll's room flickered as well. Black veins formed around Driscoll's body.

"Oh my god," said Nancy.

She ran to the call button to call for help.

"He can't get out, can he?" asked Max.

"No way," said Lucas.

Their hopes were in vain. After banging on the door enough times, Billy broke the chain.

Elle tried to shove Billy back into the sauna, but Billy grabbed her by the neck. He attempted to suffocate her. Mike wasn't gonna let that happen. He lifted a nearby weight and hit Billy in the head with it, hard. This sent Billy to the ground.

"I'll only ask you this once, you piece of shit!" Mike yelled. "What have you done with Will?"

"The real question you should ask is," Billy replied in a menacing voice. "What have YOU done with him?"

Mike thought about what Billy said. He was right. It was Mike's fault that Will was gone. If he hadn't yelled at him, then Will would still be here.

Mike screamed and tried to hit Billy in the head again. Billy dodged the attack and grabbed the weight.

Billy tried to grab Mike, but something lifted him into the air. Elvis grabbed by the back of the head and floated up, lifting Billy off the ground with him. Elvis held Billy against the wall and scratched his face against it. Elvis then threw Billy against the wall.

Elle got up and used her powers to shove Billy against the wall once more. The wall broke and Billy was sent flying out of the building.

Elle and Elvis passed out in exhaustion. Mike helped them up. The five kids watched as Billy ran away.

Play "We'll Meet Again"

"Was it her?" asked Heather.

"Yeah," Billy replied. "She knows now. She knows about me. She could have killed me."

"Yes, but not us."

The two turned to the many different hosts they had collected for their master.

We'll meet again

Don't know where, don't know when

But I know we'll meet again some sunny day

Keep smiling through

Just like you always do

'Til the blue skies chase the dark clouds far away

End "We'll Meet Again"

A.N.

And that's the first half done.

With Will out of the picture for a while, Elvis definitely had some time to shine here. Especially when he grabbed Billy and forced his face against the wall like that.

One thing's for certain, Mike and Elle won't reconcile as soon as they did in canon. Mike has a lot of guilt for how he treated Will that he won't even want to get back together with Elle.

Last thing, Nancy snapped at her boss for how awfully he treated her. He had it coming, definitely. Tom is the worst boss in the entire show. I'm surprised Nancy and Jonathan didn't just quit on their own terms.

Anyway, that's all. Please be sure to favorite, follow, and review, and I wish you all a Happy Easter.
