The next morning, I woke up to find that my apartment was the same as always, but something was different.
Harry was standing in my kitchen cooking breakfast. I looked at him and made my way to the table.
"I thought you needed some time?" I asked. Harry nodded. "I went to talk to Ginny and she told me that she didn't want to marry me and that she was just using me for the credit of one day marrying a professor of Hogwarts." He said. I sat stilled. "Oh Harry, I'm sorry" I said.
Harry turned to me and put two eggs on my plate. "I feel like I waisted so much time and romance on her." He said.
"Turns out she has been secretly dating someone else." He finished. I sighed. I didn't want to pry but I wanted to know more. "Who was she seeing?" I asked.
Harry sighed. "She was seeing someone named Marcus Rype." He said. I sighed. "I don't recognize that name but I'm sorry that this happened to you." I said.
Harry nodded. "It's going to take me a while to get over this, and I wanted to be honest with you, since we are going to be married in 4 days." He said.
I stopped in fear. "WE ONLY HAVE 4 DAYS?" I asked really loud. Harry laughed. "Yes, we need to figure things out and figure out if we are going to have a ministry marriage or a ceremony marriage." He said. I sighed. "Well, I always wanted to get married at the Burrow by the lake." I said. Harry nodded.
"That sounds wonderful." He replied. I nodded. "I'm sure Mrs. Weasley would not mind." I said. Harry nodded.
"I'll talk to her today when I go to see Ron." He said. I sighed. "How is Ron?" I asked. Harry chuckled.
"He is doing ok. He talked with Lavendar and they are doing a ministry marriage and she is moving into the Burrow." He said.
Now it was my turn to laugh. "Poor Mrs. Weasley." I said.. Harry nodded in agreement. I realized Harry and I had a lot to figure out.
"So, Where would we live?" I asked. Harry took a sip of his coffee and turned to me. "Well, I am a professor at Hogwarts and really don't want to quit my job. If you are ok with it, I can make arrangements for myself to be moved to a couples quarters and we can live there." He said.
I nodded. I had no intention of taking Harry's job away. "But what about my job?" I asked. Harry smiled.
" I thought about it and can charm the floo to have another destination so that you can go to work too." He said.
I smiled. "you are so thoughtful." I said. Harry blushed. "Thanks." He said in return. I smiled and looked at the clock. "Looks like we need to head to work." I said. Harry smiled again. "What?" I asked. Harry continued to smile. "What is it?" I asked.
"We have the day off so we can plan our wedding and get things packed and moved." He said. I smiled. "you really have thought of everything, haven't you?" I said.
Harry nodded. We ate our breakfast in silence for a bit and then Harry spoke.
"We need to figure out how many people we will invite to the wedding and get the invitations out by tomorrow." He said.
I nodded. After talking it over we decided who to invite. "we should stop at the Burrow and talk to Mrs. Weasley in person." I said. Harry nodded.
"OK, Let's go." He said. I smiled and hopped up to get my shoes on while Harry put the dishes in the sink. Soon, we were at the burrow and Mrs. Weasley greeted us with a hug.
"OH MY DEAR CHILDREN, YOUR ALL GROWN UP! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH YOU?" she said. Both Harry and I smiled at each other. "Mrs. Weasley, we were wondering if we could get married here, by the lake?" I asked.
Mrs. Weasley started to have tears and Harry and I looked at each other with worry. "OH, THAT WOULD MAKE ME SO HAPPY! I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU WOULD MARRY RON, BUT I KNOW THAT YOU ARE PAIRED WITH THE BEST MATCH POSSIBLE." She said.
I nodded. "BUT DON'T WORRY YOU BOTH WILL ALWAYS BE PART OF THIS FAMILY." She yelled. Harry and I smiled.
"Oh, Hermione, we need to get started on the wedding. Maybe Harry can take Ron to get his attire and you and me can plan the wedding and get your wedding dress." She said. I nodded and turned to Harry. "Will you be wearing wizard robes or a suit. "I think I'll wear a suit." He said.
I nodded. "Well, I would like the colors to be Red and Gold for Gryffindor." I said. Harry smiled. "OK, thanks for letting me know, I'll match my suit with that." He said. I nodded and then Harry turned to go find Ron. Mrs. Weasley turned to me and smiled.
"OK let's go get that dress of yours." She said. I nodded and followed Mrs. Weasley to the floo and we were off.
