The Winkster and Winkette entered the restaurant, Chez Snobbe.
"Chez Snobbe?" said the Winkster, reading to sign. "Wonder why it's called that.
"Well, it is fancy," said Winkette. "Very fancy..."
The two noticed there were a lot of rich people dining. This made the twins remember how they felt about rich people. Growing up in a household with a normal income that wasn't considered poor, the Winkster and Winkette thought that rich people were all snobby and rude as well as really entitled because of the very nice, expensive things and the huge amount of money those people have.
"Woooooooooow…" Winkette said.
"Are you out of your mind, Winkette?" the Winkster said. "We're very below these people..."
"Oh absolutely," said Winkette, agreeing with him. "I just like fancy-looking things..."
"Let's just try to look for the egg as well as Barney and the kids," said the Winkster.
While the two were looking around, because their very colorful outfits were standing out and extremely noticeable in the very bland and dull environment, the diners as well as the servers gave the twins a few stares as they were not used to seeing anyone dress so colorful and over-the-top as well as "childish".
"Winkster…?" Winkette whispered to her brother. "I think these people are staring at us..."
"You're right, Winkette…" the Winkster whispered back. "They are…"
"What should we do about this...?" Winkette asked.
"Pay no attention to them and don't give them a reaction…" the Winkster said. "It's best to just ignore them. And besides...
He smiled and said, "They're probably just jealous that they don't have the confidence to wear what they really want. As well as them not having good fashion taste."
The Winkster winks at Winkette as she quietly giggles.
"Now let's find that egg!" said the Winkster.
"Right!" said Winkette.
But before they could continue, the Winkster and Winkette were stopped by a waiter. Thinking they were going to be questioned, the twins froze. But in reality, the waiter just saw the two as customers who are waiting for a table.
"Welcome to Chez Snobbe," the waiter said. "Come right this way, please."
"Winkster...?" Winkette said to her brother.
"Just go along with it, Winkette," the Winkster said. "Let's just try and keep the peace."
Not wanting to cause any trouble, the twins followed the waiter as the man showed them their table.
"Now remember," the Winkster said to Winkette, "we're only here for the egg."
Winkette was too busy looking inside the restaurant menu.
"Winkette!" the Winkster said, taking the menu from her.
"But I'm hungry..." Winkette said.
"Winkette…" said the Winkster.
Winkette folds her arms and slumps in her seat.
The Winkster turned to his side and notices that he and Winkette were seated coincidentally right next to Barney, Dani, and Aaron, who were at a separate table since the three were seated by a server a few minutes prior to the twins entering the restaurant.
"Winkette look!" the Winkster said to his sister.
"Oh hi guys!" Winkette said to Barney and the kids.
"Hi Winkette!" said Dani. "Winkster!"
"Are you guys looking for the egg, too?" the Winkster said.
"Yeah," said Aaron. "Do not worry, we've all got our eyes peeled."
"Wonderful," said the Winkster.
But then, he sees his sister distracted by looking at the menu again.
"Winkette!" the Winkster said.
Winkette starts to whine like a baby.
"Stop it…!" the Winkster whispered.
"But I want food..." said Winkette.
"Do you have money…?" the Winkster asked.
"No…" Winkette said, sadly.
"I thought so…" said the Winkster.
He then sees his sister reaching for his pants pocket since the Winkster had his wallet on him that contains his ID card. Thinking his sister was seeing if he had any money on him, this very much annoyed him.
"Hey!" the Winkster shouted, pushing Winkette's hand away from him. "Stop that!"
"But-" Winkette said.
"Knock it off…!" the Winkster demanded, as he slaps his sister's hand.
"Mmm…" Winkette frowned.
"Do you see the egg anywhere, guys?" Dani asked Aaron and Barney.
"Not so far..." said Aaron. "But I'm still very much looking."
"Maybe we could create a little distraction to get everyone's attention," Barney suggested. "That way it'll be easier for us to search for the egg without causing any trouble."
Winkette overhears this as she said to herself, "Hmmm…"
She then said to her brother, "Winkster?"
"Winkette…" the Winkster said, very much annoyed. "If this is about getting food and drinks here...NO!"
"It's not that…" Winkette said.
"Then what is it?" the Winkster asked.
"Maybe we can distract the people here so Barney and the kids can get the egg back," Winkette suggested.
"Distract them?" said the Winkster. "But how?"
"Look at us!" Winkette said. "We're colorful, wouldn't that be a big enough distraction?"
"But will it be enough?" the Winkster wondered. "I feel like we need to do more than just show off our attire."
"Like what?" Winkette asked.
The twins start thinking.
"I got it!" Winkette cried.
"You do?" said the Winkster. "What is it, sis? What is your plan?"
Winkette whispers the plan in her brother's ear.
"Great idea, sis!" said the Winkster, all up for the plan. "Let's do it!"
The Winkster and Winkette both get up and leave their table quickly. Then Barney and the kids noticed the twins were gone yet again.
"What are those two up to, Barney?" Dani asked Barney.
"I don't know," said Barney. "I guess we're going to find out."
"Look guys!" Aaron said, spotting the twins.
The Winkster and Winkette were on the restaurant's stage with the band that plays live music.
"Ladies and gentlemen..." the Winkster said through a microphone to everyone inside the restaurant. "On behalf of Chez Snobbe, we would like to invite you to sing and dance along to one of the all-time great musical masterpieces ever."
"Maestro?" the Winkster and Winkette said, as they both put their hands out to their side.
The twins were each given a dancing cane as the band began to play Cab Calloway's "Jumpin' Jive". And as the band had just started playing the music and the twins were starting to dance and sing to the song, Barney and the kids were confused about what was going on.
"What are they doing up there?" Dani wondered.
"They're dancing and singing," said Aaron. "But why?"
Barney and the kids quickly realized that the twins were singing and dancing on the stage as a distraction to everyone in the restaurant. As well as the diners and severs really paying attention to the twins due to their outfits.
"Ooooh!" Dani whispered. "THAT'S the distraction!"
"I think so, too!" Aaron whispered.
"Now's our chance!" Barney whispered to the kids. "Let's go, kids!"
Barney, Dani, and Aaron went back to their search for the egg, all while the Winkster and Winkette were distracting the place with their singing and dancing as well as their colorful looks. The Winkster then started scat singing as he and Winkette started to add tap dancing to their dance routine. And this got everyone in the restaurant standing up and dancing along as they all had a good time. Barney and the kids notice all of this happening while they were looking for the egg. And Dani in particular was very amazed at what she was seeing.
"Woooooooooooooow..." Dani said.
"They really are bringing down the house!" Aaron said, then asking Dani, "Did you find the egg yet?"
"No, did you?" Dani asked.
"Not yet," said Aaron. "Let's keep looking while these two are still doing their little musical number."
"Right," said Dani.
Barney and the kids kept looking for the egg. And a few minutes later, the song ends as the Winkster and Winkette strike a pose together as everyone in the restaurant claps and cheers for the twins. They saw that people who dress colorfully weren't so bad after all, especially after seeing that the two adults they were staring at had some singing and dancing talent.
"They love us, sis!" the Winkster said.
"They really do!" Winkette said. "You think we could get an actual musical gig someday, Winkster?"
"Maybe," said the Winkster. "You never know."
The twins got out of their pose as the Winkster bows and Winkette curtsies. Then Dani and Aaron ran over to them as the two kids and Barney couldn't locate the egg.
"Winkster! Winkette!" Dani said to the twins. "We looked all over the place!"
"We can't find the egg anywhere!" Aaron said.
"What?!" said the Winkster, all shocked. "You can't?!"
"We don't know what to do!" said Dani.
"You checked the entire place?" Winkette asked the kids.
"Yes!" Dani and Aaron said.
"Oh dear…" said Winkette. "This is not good!"
She then sees a white cloche on a serving tray that had a red napkin on it and said, "Did you guys check that over there?!"
"No, but we should!" said Aaron, noticing it. "Come on!"
The twins and the children quickly ran to the table that had the serving cloche on it, but were quickly stopped by the waiter that gave the Winkster and Winkette their table earlier. That's because he wanted to let the twins know how great they were on the stage and had such talent.
"Excuse me, you two," the waiter said to the twins. "You were both great!"
"Gee, you really think so?" the Winkster said.
"Absolutely!" said the waiter. "From the bottom of my heart, you were magnificent!"
"Hehehe! Why thank you very much, sir!" said Winkette, then seeing the cloche with the red napkin as she said, "Oh! I think that's my order right about now!"
Winkette lifts the cloche hoping to find the egg, but it turns out to be Eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce.
"Eggs Benedict?!" said the Winkster.
Because the dish contained eggs, Winkette mistaken this to be the egg she and her friends were looking for her. This caused her to become so upset and feeling highly defeated, thinking that the egg was now part of the food on the plate. She stiffened up as she said in a scared and concerning voice, "Eggs...! The...The egg…" And without warning, Winkette fainted as she hit the floor hard.
"Oh my gosh!" the Winkster gasped, going on his knees. "Winkette! Winkette, are you okay?! What happened?!"
Winkette then wakes up all dizzy as she said, "The egg...It...I-It's over…We're too late…!"
"No it's not, Winkette!" said the Winkster.
"It's not...?" Winkette said.
"No!" the Winkster said. "We're not too late!"
Because Winkette was dizzy after fainting and hitting the floor hard, another server, who witnessed the woman passing out, quickly ran over to her as he gave her a glass of water, believing she was dehydrated.
"Thank you," the Winkster said to the server.
The Winkster puts the tip of the glass on his sister's mouth as he says to her, "Here sis, drink this."
He gently pours the glass towards Winkette as she drank the water slowly.
"There…" said the Winkster. "There you go…"
"Thank you, Winkster…" said Winkette.
"No problem, sis," the Winkster said.
Barney came over to the group as he also saw Winkette faint.
"Are you alright, Winkette?" Barney asked her.
"I'm fine, Barney," Winkette said to him. "I'm fine...But if that's not our egg in the dish, then where is it?"
"Are you talking about that big egg with colorful rings on it?" the server said to the group.
"Yes!" the group said.
"Where is it?!" Dani asked.
"Oh, we put it in a "to go" sack," said the server. "We sent it back to those clowns at the circus."
"What?!" the Winkster and Winkette said.
"The circus?!" Barney and the kids said.
"Those clowns have been playing tricks on us ever since they came into town," said the server.
The Winkster and Winkette look at each other just from hearing "playing tricks on us".
"That does it!" Winkette said. "Nobody outtricks me and the Winkster!"
She gets up and grabs her brother's hand as she said to him, "Come on, Winkster! We're gonna show those circus clowns who's boss!"
"Winkette?" the Winkster said. "Are you sure about this?"
"Yes!" said Winkette. "Those clowns made fools of us! We can't let them get away with this! Now let's go, brother!"
"Whoa!" said the Winkster, feeling his sister's pulling him. "Alright, alright!"
The Winkster and Winkette quickly ran out of the restaurant and headed towards where the circus was being held. Barney and the kids followed them from behind. But given how fast the twins ran, the three lost sight of the two real quick.
"I think we lost them, Barney!" Dani said to Barney.
"Don't worry, Dani," Barney said. "I'm sure those two didn't go too far."
"Let's go find them!" Aaron said. "And the egg, of course."
"Right!" said Dani and Barney.
