The Winkster and Winkette went outside and met up with Barney and the kids as the group started to look for the egg again.
"So where do we go next, guys?" Dani asked.
"I don't know," said Aaron. "But we might as well check everywhere. We've got to find the egg pronto!"
"You said it!" said Barney.
Just then, the group were walking past a circus performer on high stilts when the man noticed the group. Though he first noticed the Winkster and Winkette due to their very colorful and extremely similar outfits.
"Excuse me, Yin and Yang?" the stilt walker said to them.
Just by hearing those two words, the twins knew that someone was talking directly to them.
"Are you talking to me and my sister?" the Winkster asked.
"Yes," said the stilt walker.
"Oh!" the Winkster said, looking up at the man.
"Here Winkster," Winkette said, putting her hands on her brother's shoulders. "Lift me up."
"What for?" asked the Winkster.
"So we can reach this man's height level," said Winkette.
"Why?" said the Winkster.
"Just because," said Winkette. "Please?"
"Oh alright," said the Winkster. "Just don't wiggle too much."
The Winkster gives his sister a boost as she stood on both feet onto her brother's shoulders, while the Winkster was holding onto her legs to keep themselves balanced. And once Winkette was holding the umbrella to keep her and her brother dry, the twins were now at the stilt walker's height level.
"Very clever," Dani giggled.
"Mmm hmm!" Aaron giggled as well.
"So I heard about your little problem from some of the clowns here," the stilt walker said to the Winkster and Winkette. "Just what is it you're looking for if you don't mind me asking?"
"We're looking for an egg," said the Winkster.
"It's bigger than the usual chicken egg," said Winkette.
"About this big?" the stilt walker guessed, estimating the size with his hands.
"Yes!" the Winkster and Winkette exclaimed, seeing that the size estimate is correct.
"It has colorful rings on it," Winkette added.
"I think I saw something just like that," said the stilt walker. "Let me see..."
He takes out his binoculars and looks around, then quickly spotting the egg as he said, "Yep! There is it."
"Where?!" said the Winkster.
"Yeah where?!" said Winkette.
"Clear over that way," the stilt walker said, pointing straight forward, "by the balloons!"
"Great!" said the Winkster. "Thanks!"
He puts his sister back on her feet on the ground as he says to his friends, "Come on, guys!"
The Winkster and Winkette then said to the stilt walker as they waved to him, "Ta ta!"
"Bye bye!" said the stilt walker, waving back to them.
Barney, the Winkster, Winkette, Dani, and Aaron quickly left the circus and started running to where the stilt walker said the egg is currently at.
"Come on, let's go!" said Dani.
"We gotta get the egg!" said Aaron.
"Hurry!" said Barney. "We might be able to catch it!"
The group went up a hill as they saw a bunch of hot air balloons in the distance just starting to take off into the sky.
"They're hot air balloons!" said Winkette. "Look at all of them!"
"But where's the egg?!" the Winkster wondered. "They're so far away, we can't see it from over here!"
Winkette takes out a pair of her own binoculars from her little crossbody purse and hands them to the Winkster.
"Thanks sis," the Winkster said, accepting his sister's binoculars.
The Winkster places the binoculars over his eyes as he searches for the egg.
"You see the egg, Winkster?" Dani asked.
"I'm looking, Dani," said the Winkster.
He then spots the egg, which was in a small cage hooked onto the side of one of the hot air balloons' basket.
"Guys, I see the egg!" the Winkster cried, jumping in excitement. "It's- OH NO!"
"What is it, Winkster?!" Winkette asked.
The Winkster saw something that shocked him. The fourth ring on the egg started to glow brightly.
"There's only one ring left!" said the Winkster.
"What?!" said Winkette. "One of the rings is glowing?!"
"Yes!" said the Winkster. "That's ring number four!"
"That means there's only one more to go!" said Winkette.
The ring stopped glowing as it left behind a shade of yellow.
"Guys, what'll we do?!" the Winkster said. "We're running out of time!"
The Winkster loses it as he said, "I can't take this anymore!"
He starts screaming at the hot air balloons, "DON'T GO! YOU CAN'T TAKE OUR EGG! PLEASE COME BACK! PLEASE!"
The Winkster goes on his knees and hits the ground with his fists in frustration as he said, "Now we'll never get the egg back in time! There's no way!"
Winkette looks around and sees something near her that gave her an idea.
"Yes we will," said Winkette. "It's just going to take some imagining."
"Huh?!" said the Winkster.
Winkette bends down to reach her brother's level and said to him, "We need to use our imaginations so we can get the egg back."
"But what are we going to do?!" said the Winkster. "We don't have much time left!"
"Well, now's the time to use our imaginations," said Winkette, helping her brother back on his feet. "Come on, I'll show you."
She then said to Barney and the kids, "Follow me, guys!"
"Okay!" they all replied.
The group followed Winkette as they see a big long wooden log with a thick branch in the front of it.
"Winkette?" the Winkster said to his sister. "I-I-I don't understand."
"Winkster..." said Winkette. "Remember what you said to me while you and I were under the big top during the downpour?"
"Yeah?" said the Winkster.
"Okay," Winkette said, testing him. "What did you say?"
"Ummm..." the Winkster said, thinking for a minute. "We'll solve the situation with our imagination? Something like that?"
"Yes!" said Winkette. "If we use our imagination, we'll solve this situation!"
"Okay, let's give it a try!" said the Winkster.
"That's the spirit, Winkster!" Winkette cried, hugging her brother. "Hehehe!"
"So what will we do with his tree log right here, Winkette?" Dani asked.
"We're all going to pretend that this is the fastest and coolest airplane in the whole wide world," said Winkette.
"Cool!" said Dani, getting interested.
"So who wants to drive?" Winkette asked everyone.
"May I, Winkette?" Aaron asked.
"Sure Aaron," said Winkette. "Hop on!"
Aaron sits at the very front of the log.
"I'll sit behind you, Aaron," Dani said. "And Winkette can sit behind me. That way I can be between my two good friends."
"Good thinking," said Aaron.
"And I'll be behind my sister since she and I love to be together," said the Winkster. "And Barney can be right behind me at the very end."
Everyone sat on the log. From front to back: Aaron, Dani, Winkette, the Winkster, and Barney. Then the group started to play along for a little bit while everyone was settling themselves.
"So who is everyone going to be in our plane trip?" Barney asked everyone.
"Since I'm at the wheel," Aaron said, "I'm gonna be the pilot."
"And I'll be the co-pilot so I can help Aaron navigate," Dani said.
"I guess I'll be the flight attendant that serves the snacks," Winkette said.
"And I'll be the flight attendant that demonstrates safety measures for if an emergency landing were to occur," the Winkster said, then turning to Barney and asking him, "What'll you be, Barney?"
"I'll be the passenger enjoying the ride," Barney said, with a chuckle.
Everyone laughed.
"Alright guys," Aaron said. "Everyone ready?"
"Is a log really going to fly?" the Winkster wondered.
"You said give this a try, Winkster," Winkette said. "So we have to at least do that. Okay?"
"Okay Winkette," said the Winkster, taking a breath. "Well…Here it goes…"
Everyone closes their eyes as they start imagining.
"Flying should be easy, right...?" Aaron said to himself. "Just make believe, make believe it will be..."
"Pretend that we're flying in an airplane high in the sky..." Barney said to himself.
"Flying in the clouds…" Dani said to herself, "with the wind in our hair..."
"Hundreds and hundreds of feet above sea level..." Winkette said to herself, "where all the houses and trees below look tiny..."
"All while we're all flying safely..." the Winkster said to himself.
He then said in his thoughts, "And please let me have some kind of safety thingy just in case I need to save my sister in any way possible...Please...?"
As everyone was imagining while having their eyes closed, they suddenly felt the log move forward a few inches.
"It's working!" the Winkster cried.
"Come on!" Aaron cried.
"Faster!" Dani cried.
"We can do this!" Winkette cried.
A minute later, the group were now flying in the sky inside their imaginary airplane with Aaron at the wheel.
"Winkette, your idea worked!" Dani cried happily.
"Hooray!" Winkette cried happily as well, then turning to her brother and saying to him, "See, I told you this would work, Winkster!"
"You were right, Winkette!" the Winkster said. "It really did!
"Hehehe!" Winkette giggled.
"We're so high up!" said Dani. "Look at all the houses and trees down there!"
"Wow!" said Winkette, then saying to the Winkster, "Isn't this amazing, Winkster?!
"It sure is, sis!" said the Winkster. "It's terrific!"
He puts his hands up in the air as he cried, "Yaaaaaaaaahooooooo!"
"Yes!" Aaron said. "This is so awesome!"
He then paused and said, "Wait...I don't know how to fly!"
"What?!" Winkette said.
Aaron was trying really hard to control the plane, but he accidentally made it go on its side while in the air, catching everyone off guard.
"AAAAAAHHHH!" the group screamed.
"What are we gonna do?!" Dani shouted.
"Aaron, be careful!" Winkette shouted.
"Watch out!" Barney shouted.
"Don't run into the hot air balloons!" the Winkster shouted.
The plane flip on its other side as everyone screamed again.
"Aaron, turn the plane back upright!" Dani said to Aaron.
"If anything happens to my sister," the Winkster said to Aaron, "you're gonna get it, Mr. I-Actually-Don't-Know-How-To-Fly-After-All-So-I-Should-Have-My-License-Revoked!"
Aaron then managed to position the airplane back upwards as everyone was seated properly again.
"Whew!" said the Winkster, in great relief. "That's better."
"Winkster!" Winkette said to her brother, looking straight at him. "What the heck was that?!"
"Uhhh..." the Winkster said, starting to sweat.
Winkette was so confused while giving her brother a horrified look.
"I'm sorry," said the Winkster. "I got scared! You know how much I care about you and worry for your safety, Winkette..."
"I know you do," said Winkette. "But was it really worth taking it out on our friend?!"
"No…" said the Winkster.
"Thought so…" said Winkette.
"You know, Aaron," Dani said to Aaron, "I will admit...That was some pretty nice flying. Even if it felt a little scary."
"Yeah?" Aaron said. "Though I could have done that with my eyes closed."
He widens his eyes as he said, "In fact...I did!"
"You did?!" the Winkster said, all shocked.
"Sure did!" said Aaron. "Pretty neat, huh?"
"Yeah, I'll say!" Winkette said.
The Winkster then spots the egg in one of the hot air balloons just a few yards away.
"Guys look!" the Winkster cried, pointing to the egg. "There's the egg!"
"Oh my goodness!" Winkette cried. "There it is!"
"It's in that man's hot air balloon!" Barney cried.
"We have to get it back!" Aaron cried.
"Let's get that person's attention!" Dani cried, then started calling out to that said person, "Hey Mister! Mister!"
"Mister, we're over here!" Aaron called.
"Look over here!" called Barney. "This way!"
"You have our egg!" called the Winkster.
"Hello?!" Winkette called.
The person in the hot air balloon noticed the group in an airplane while viewing them through a telescope. It was a man who was traveling all over the world in his hot air balloon along with being a collector of things from his travels.
"Hello there!" the man said, seeing the group in their airplane. "That's a splendid aircraft you're flying there!"
"Thank you!" Winkette said.
"Excuse me, sir," Aaron said to the man. "But you have our egg!"
"Egg?" the man said, looking around. "What egg? Where?"
"It's hanging off of your hot air balloon!" the Winkster said.
"Ah!" the man said, noticing the egg. "Oh, that's my new ballast I just picked up. You gotta keep the old ship steady, you know?"
"Yes," said Dani. "But somehow our egg got mixed up with your ballast."
She turns to the Winkster and asks him, "Winkster, what's a ballast?"
"A ballast is something that holds a hot air balloon up," the Winkster answered.
"Ooooooh!" Dani understood.
"How did this even all happen?" Winkette asked the man.
"You see," the man said to the group. "I've traveled all the world collecting things. And this is the most beautiful egg I've ever seen in my life. But...If it's yours, you'd better have it back."
"Hooray!" everyone cried.
"Position your craft under mine," the man instructed.
As Aaron was ready to reposition the plane in order to go under the hot air balloon, the man untied a rope that opened the little cage from the bottom, causing the egg to immediately fall out. And now without a ballast, the hot air balloon went up. Then when the man waved goodbye to the group, he shouted "Good luck!" as he and his hot air balloon went out of sight. But there was one problem...The man let go of the egg way too early!
"OH NO!" the Winkster and Winkette shouted, all horrified at what they just saw happen. "HE LET IT GO TOO SOON!"
"Quick!" Dani said. "Someone catch it!"
"Aaron, go faster!" Winkette said to Aaron. "Hurry!"
"Come on, Aaron!" Barney said. "Go under it!"
"I'm trying!" Aaron said, while moving the plane downwards.
The boy started to get scared as he screamed, "WHOOOOOOA, I'M GONNA BREAK THE SOUND BARRIER!"
"We're almost there!" said Dani, seeing they were getting closer to the egg. "Keep going, Aaron!"
"I'm on it!" said Aaron.
Once Aaron managed to position the plane in just the right spot, the egg continued to come down fast. And right at the very last possible moment, Winkette caught it!
"I GOT IT!" she cried, with the egg in her hands.
"YOU DID IT, SIS!" the Winkster cried happily, hugging his sister from behind. "WAY TO GO, WINKETTE! THAT'S MY TWIN SISTER!"
"Now let's get this egg back to where we found it!" Winkette said.
"Right!" the Winkster said. "The sooner the better!"
"Aaron, do you see my house yet?" Dani asked Aaron.
"Nope," said Aaron, not being able to locate his friend's house. "In fact, I don't recognize this area. It might take a while before we find our neighborhood..."
"Awwww!" everyone groaned in disbelief.
"Well, at least the last ring hasn't lit up yet..." the Winkster sighed.
Several minutes later, it was turning into nighttime. So Aaron had to turn on the headlights in order to see better.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Aaron said to his friends, pretending to speak like an airplane pilot. "This is your captain speaking. Looks like there is going to be a bit of a delay until we reach our final destination. Sorry for the inconvenience..."
"Awwww!" everyone groaned again.
"Oh come on!" said the Winkster, getting impatient. "This is unbelievable! I need to-"
The Winkster then notices a small light from below and said, "Huh...? What's that down there...?"
"What's what?" said Winkette.
She looks down and notices the light coming up as she said, "Oh, it's moving!"
The group then suddenly heard the sound of a rocket's whistle as if someone just lit a fuse. But because they didn't immediately recognize the sound at first due to it being quiet, they had no idea what was happening.
"It looks like a rocket is about to take off!" Aaron said.
"A rocket?!" said the Winkster, then feeling and seeing something shoot up right pass him, just missing him as he looked up. "WHOA! What was that?!"
The rocket then stopped a few feet above the group as it exploded and made a loud "BOOM!" noise as it released some colors. Turns out it was a firework rocket. And many more were coming from below as they made their whistle noises!
"Fireworks?!" Dani gasped.
"TAKE COVER!" the Winkster screamed.
"EVERYONE DUCK!" Winkette screamed.
Everyone ducked and covered their heads as fireworks were being shot up into the night sky and exploding near the airplane. Turns out the town's festival the group were in for most of the day not only hosted a parade, circus, and hot air balloon viewing, the festival was also hosting a firework show! Aaron tried his absolute hardest to maneuver the plane safely as everyone was now in very dangerous territory. Aaron then somehow lost control of the aircraft, but then managed to quickly gain control of it again. But when he stabilized the plane, everyone was now hanging completely upside down, with only their seatbelts to keep them from getting ejected.
"We're upside down!" Winkette cried.
"Whoooooooa!" Barney cried.
"The blood is rushing towards my head!" Dani cried.
"ALRIGHT, THAT'S IT!" the Winkster said, getting worked up. "AARON, YOU'RE FIRED! GET THAT?! F-I-R-E-D!"
"Just give me a chance to figure out how to get this thing right-side up!" Aaron said.
All of a sudden, Winkette's seatbelt snapped and she was ejected from the plane with a loud, "AAAHH!" as she quickly grabbed the edge of her seat hanging on for dear life as her legs and feet dangled below since the plane was upside down, therefore making Winkette hang right-side up. Because everyone was hundreds of feet up above sea level, the Winkster got extremely terrified as his sister could fall to her death at any moment if she let go of her seat.
"OH NO!" the Winkster screamed. "WINKETTE!"
Since he still had his seatbelt on and was hanging upside down, the Winkster tried to get his sister back into the airplane. But it wasn't working.
"AAAAAAH!" Winkette screamed, with tears falling down her face. "HELP! HELP ME! WINKSTER!"
"WINKETTE, JUST HOLD ON!" the Winkster said. "WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LET GO!"
"I CAN'T!" Winkette said. "I CAN'T DO IT!"
Suddenly, Winkette lost her grip and slips off her seat as she starts falling to her death while screaming in terror.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!" she screamed, as she was falling down fast.
"NOOOO!" the Winkster screamed, watching his twin sister falling to her death. "WINKETTE!"
The Winkster then went into extreme protector mode as his twin sister's life was in great danger now. With quick thinking, the Winkster grabbed a backpack, stuffed the egg inside of it as he closed the bag shut, placed the straps over his shoulders, put on goggles as well as a headlight, and unbuckled his seatbelt as he jumped out of the airplane, putting his own life at risk.
"WINKSTER, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Dani said, as she saw this happening.
"I NEED TO SAVE MY SISTER!" the Winkster said, as his voice disappears. "I'LL SEE YOU GUYS LATEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!"
"WINKSTER!" Dani shouted.
"We can't do anything now, Dani!" Aaron said. "We have to get back to your house!"
"Okay..." Dani said in a sad voice, then saying in her head, "I hope those twins will be still alive when I see them again..."
Aaron managed to get the plane upright again as he, Dani, and Barney headed back to Dani's house.
Meanwhile, the Winkster was falling down very fast through the sky. And after he turned on his headlight, he began to look for Winkette to see if his sister was in his reach as he continued to fall dangerously fast.
"WINKETTE?!" he called out to her. "WINKETTE, WHERE ARE YOU?! SIS?!"
He then sees his twin sister falling a few feet away from him as he called out, "WINKETTE!"
"WINKSTER?!" Winkette replied, seeing the headlight shining bright. "IS THAT YOU?!"
"YES IT'S ME!" said the Winkster, putting his hands out. "HERE! GRAB MY HAND IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!"
Winkette reaches her hands out to her brother as she tries to grab his hands.
"COME ON, WINKETTE!" the Winkster said. "YOU'RE ALMOST THERE! COME ON! YOU CAN DO IT, SIS!"
Once Winkette was close enough to the Winkster, she manages to grab his hands.
"YES!" the Winkster cried, as he pulls his sister towards him and wraps his arm tightly around below her chest. "NOW SIS, DO NOT LET GO OF ME!"
"OKAY, I WON'T!" said Winkette, wrapping her arms tightly, yet gently around her brother's neck.
The Winkster and Winkette then started to see the ground getting closer as they kept freefalling.
"AAAAAHHHH!" Winkette screamed in terror. "WE'RE GONNA DIE!"
"NO WE WON'T!" said the Winkster. "WE'RE GOING TO BE OKAY!"
He reached up for the rip-cord of the backpack he was wearing as he shouted, "HANG ON, WINKETTE!"
The Winkster pulled the rip-cord as he successfully deployed the parachute.
"Yaaaaaaaaay!" Winkette cried happily. "You did it, Winkster! We're going to live!"
With the parachute open, the two started to float down very slowly.
"I got you, sis…" the Winkster said to Winkette, as he wrapped his other arm around below his sister's chest. "I got you..."
"Winkster, you're my hero!" Winkette cried, smiling as she continued to hang onto her brother. "You saved me!"
She looks down and said, "Wonder how long it'll take us to land. And where we will land."
"Beats me," said the Winkster. "Hopefully, we'll land somewhere safe and on safe ground. Just keep holding onto me, okay Winkette?"
"Okay Winkster," said Winkette.
