Chapter 6: End the Darkness:

Tommy's POV:

The Sphinx was attacking this random scientist.

"Hey," I said, "I've come to stop you!"

"That is the Staff of Moses," says the Sphinx, "Moses! He was a fool!"

"You're going to stop what you're doing," I said.

"First, this woman must answer my riddle! I'm as a child, a lamb and a simpleton at once. All are born with me, yet few possess me at their moment of death. What am I?"

The scientist tries to figure it out. The Sphinx was about to remove his mask, but then I aimed the staff at him, and this green mist then surrounded the Sphinx. The scientist then ran away. The mist then disappeared, and the Sphinx stood there.

"A-are you okay," I asked.

"I didn't realize I was such a monster," says the Sphinx, "I'm sorry!" The Sphinx then disappears.

. . .

Everyone was back to normal, and I returned the staff.

"What did the Sphinx see," asks Susie.

"My guess, how he looks to the rest of us," says Jackie, "but maybe now the Sphinx will learn to mind its own business."

"Maybe," I said. And ends another adventure.
