"Kakarot, you are a proud Sayian warrior."

"Yes… I am." Kakarot mumbled in agreement. He was a proud Saiyan Warrior, he had been a fool to think anything else.

""A Saiyan shows no mercy. Empathy is a weakness. The strong survive, the weak deserve death. Your mission is to destroy all earthlings." Continued the voice, ignoring Kakarot's revelation, "They are weak and are unworthy of survival."

"I will… kill… them all." He agreed, watching the images flashing on the screen in front of him, it really was starting to look like so much fun, fulfilling his purpose.

"… so that's where we're at." Finished Krillin, explaining the situation with a bit less panic than he did with Yamcha, "So we came here to see if you have any ideas on how to find Goku with either Tien's energy sensing or Chiaotzu's psychic abilities. And, if not, at least have more manpower in our fight."

Tein shook his head, "My energy sensing abilities won't work over such a long range. We could fly around for a bit and see if I could find anything but there's no guarantee and it doesn't sound like we have that much time."

"I can try but most of my abilities involve offensive techniques which are not super helpful right now." Furrowing his brow, Chiaotzu concentrated for a couple minutes, "I can't get a hold of him telekinetically which means I can't get a lock on his location."

"Why don't we just ask you sister?" Bulma looked at Roshi, "I think she'd help considering the end of the world might inconvenience her. If not, I'm pretty sure any of these guys would be able to defeat her warriors."

"Bulma, you are amazing." Krillin grinned, "We just might have a shot at this!"

"But what about Chi Chi?" Asked the Ox King, "I don't want her all alone if there's some sort of crazy alien targeting her family!"

"At this point, it would just be stressing her out." Yamcha offered, "Besides, you know if we called her, she'd want to join in which would put her in even more danger."

"But then she'd be surrounded by the greatest warriors on the planet." Argued the ox king, "She has a right to know that her husband is an alien, her son's been kidnapped, and that her brother-in-law is a genocidal maniac!"

"And she will find out all that later." Puur offered, "Right now we have so much stuff to do and we all need to remain calm and work together. We'll save her husband and son first then Goku can explain everything. I'm sure she'd rather hear all this from him."

"Look, you can call her." Tien pointed out, "We have to get to work, and I don't think arguing is a good use of time. I don't want to bring anyone who can't fight on our level, and I don't know where her skills are at. On that note, Bulma, you should head back to Capsule Corps and get started on getting new dragon balls while we go deal with this."

"WHAT!? But it was my idea!"

Tien, ever calm in the face of danger, did not react to the angry blunette, "You aren't a warrior but you are a scientist. Where would you be more useful: a fight or engineering a spaceship?"

"…" Bulma glared at him, "… I don't have a car to get back with me."

"Then borrow the Ox Kings." Tein turned to Roshi, "We all have work to do. I assume you know the way?"

"Sure thing!"

Tein, Roshi, Yamcha, Puur, Chiaotzu, and Krillin all climbed into the very crowed helicopter and took off into the sky, heading towards Fortuneteller Baba's Palace.

Looking up towards the large man, Bulma sighed deeply, "Do you mind if I borrow your car? I promise to return it in top condition and full of gas."

"I don't know, my son-in-law has a story about your driving abilities and running him over." The Ox king responded, chuckling weakly at his joke, "… do you think I should leave Chi-Chi in the dark?"

"I would rather know if I was her. Also, I'm pretty sure nobody has called is because they're scared of what she'll do to them."

The Ox king chuckled, "Fair enough. Here's my keys, good luck figuring out the spaceship. We're all counting on you."

"No pressure, right?" Bulma jumped into the convertible without bothering to open the door first and gave the ox king a cheeky wave and she started up the engine and headed towards west city.

"Kill all earthlings, Kakarot. They are weakness who no place in this universe. Destruction is what you crave more than anything. Destroy all lifeforms on earth. Complete your mission and rejoin your people."

"I know." Kakarot agreed, his fists clenching. If only this stupid pod would let him out, he would be more than happy to kill everyone and take his rightful place with the rest of his Saiyan brethren.

"You are a Sayian warrior, a race of the strongest fighters in the galaxy…"

"Yes, I know." Kakarot snarled through his clenched jaw. While he had grown to enjoy the images of murder and mayhem that flashed before him it still went against his very nature to sit back and watch someone else having fun. The videos had shown some pretty fun-looking tactics that he was interested in trying out.

"The weak deserve to die and the strong to live. These are the rules of-"

"-the universe. Yes, I know. Let me out and I'll do it."

"You are the son of the Warrior Bardock, aSquadron Commander of the Sayina Race. You are a descendant of the great Oozaru. You hold the pride of your people on your shoulders. Kill all the earthlings."

"I will, just let me out already!"

Chi Chi was outside of her house practicing her Tai Chi postures. She was nowhere near the martial artist her husband was, heck she was nowhere near the level of most of her husband's friends, but she was still the strongest woman on earth and she planned to keep that title. After all, how else would one end up married to someone like Goku.

As she moved from form to form using precise controlled movements, she slowly began to integrate her ki into her motions, enjoying the feelings of the power swelling within her. Sidestepping, she pulled her arms back towards her torso, redirecting and focusing the energy into the palms of her hands then stepped forward, shoved her palms outwards and sent of blast of ki towards a large boulder.

The boulder shattered upon impact much to Chi Chi's pride. She was not yet at the stage where she'd be blowing up moons, but she was pleased with the progress she had made. She didn't naturally have large reserves of ki and while it did frustrate her how long it took her to make even the smallest blasts, she was aware that these things took time. Her father was a great fighter and even he couldn't control ki!

That said, Chi Chi still had to regularly remind herself what her old sparring instructor had beat into her head: slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Rushing to learn something just meant that you would be skipping fundamentals, cutting corners, or teaching yourself bad habits. Perfect practice meant perfect, otherwise you were just training mistakes into your techniques and, when working with something as volatile as ki, even a small mistake could spell disaster.

Still, it was annoying how fast everyone else seemed to picksdfui up on ki control while she was still floundering in the background. As such, Chi Chi slid back into the Beginning Tai Chi posture and resumed her training, resolving to commit to some ki focusing meditation after she was done.

Due to her concentration, Chi Chi did not hear when the phone rang inside the house.

"…that's the situation Dad." Bulma sighed, "Any ideas on how we can get this thing up and running?"

"It's absolutely fascinating!" Dr. Briefs examined the Namekain ship with an enthusiasm similar to that of a child on Christmas morning, "I've never seen such technology! Combining this with what we already know will advance science hundreds of years in mere months!"

"DAD, fate of the world here!"

"Hmmm. Oh right, yes. I'm certain that we will be able to manage." Dr Briefs continued to examine the ship with unbridled glee.

When a young Bulma had announced that she was going off on her own to gather a bunch of wish granting balls to get a boyfriend, her father had had a lot of concerns but had made the conscious choice to be encouraging. After all, Bulma's older sister had also declared her intent to go off adventuring at a similar age and had been forced to sneak out due to the amount of blowback she had received. More's the pity that the lack of communication meant that none of the people the Briefs had hired over the years even knew where to begin to start looking for her. As far as anyone could figure, Tights Brief had announced that she was stifled and needed a break then promptly disappeared off the face of the planet. Hence, when Bulma made her intentions known, her father had instead made sure to pack her up with extras of extra supplies and promise to call and update them on a regular basis. Of course, he had still thought it a ridiculous endeavor but was later forced to admit that he was wrong. Bulma's adventures had paid off with her developing some excellent friendships and, more importantly at this exact moment, finding him what was most possibly the greatest scientific discovery the world has ever seen!

The strange black man-like thing had appeared out of nowhere in his lab just as he was examining the newest plans for an improved pulse capacitor and informed the scientist that the ship was outside. Having gotten to know some of the characters his daughter referred to as her friends, Dr Briefs had simply accepted whatever this new kerfuffle was as a matter of course before he even got the message from his successor and had gone outside to see what had been delivered to him. In the middle of his beautiful wife's menagerie was a feat of engineering that him pulling out another cigarette as he immediately started making plans on how to best go about examining the feat of engineer that had been, almost literally, dropped onto his lap. Bikini, for her part, was merely confused by her husband's exuberance and wanted whatever it was out of the garden as it was crushing her daisies.

"You said that it only responds to the Namekian Language?" Dr Briefs asked, taking a drag on his cigarette.

"That's right." Bulma nodded, "Mr. Popo and I were able to figure out a few basic commands but…"

"Hmm, best start with reprograming that then! I dare say we'll be able to learn so much more if we can find all the functions. Hopefully programing language is more universal." Interrupted Dr Briefs cheerfully, pulling out his computer, "Let's see, well need to figure out how to access the code then break it down…."

Dr Brief paused for a second and looked up at his daughter, "Could you ask your mother if she'd be willing to bring dinner in here? This is going to take a bit, even with both of us."

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

"You are a Saiyan, you show no mercy. You are the son of Bardock of the planet Vegeta. The weak do not deserve to live." The voice droned on, "Kill all earthlings, Kakarot. Fulfill your Saiyan duties these earthlings crippled you, turned you into their pet. made you believe that you needed them and then used you for their own gain. They are cowards and deserve no mercy."

"Let me out and I won't show them mercy!" snarled Kakarot, this was getting so frustrating. He would happily prove himself as a Saiyan warrior, but the stupid pod wouldn't let him! If it would just let him go, he'd kill all the earthlings.

"You are from the planet Vegeta, son of the warrior Bardock. You are a member of the greatest race of warriors in the Galaxy, Kakarot. You will live up to your Saiyan lineage and exterminate all earthlings. Weaklings do not deserve life, only the strong have that right. You are a powerful Saiyan warrior, fulfill your duties and take your place among your people. Purge this planet."

"I Know! And I will! Just let me!" Kakarot almost shouted at the voice, it was such a tease showing him the truth then not letting him act on it. He needed to kill something soon or he'd go crazy.

"Kill all earthlings, Kakarot. You are a Saiyan Warrior, a descent of the great ape, the Oozaru. You carry the blood of your forefather in your veins. Weakness has no… Training complete."

Suddenlty the images stopped flashing and the pod let out a his as the door was released. Blinking at the natural sunlight after only seeing artificial images for so long, Kakarot's eyes to a second to adjust, focusing on the silhouette of his brother standing in front of him. Raditz had his head tilted slightly to the side as he examined him, his tail twitching lightly behind him thoughtfully.

Shoving the straps of off his body, Kakarot lunged at the bastard who had locked him into that damn pod. However he was still stiff and uncoordinated after whatever drugs had been in his system during the reprograming and he ended mostly flopping out onto the ground.

Looking up at his brother, Kakarot snared at him.

"Very dramatic." Raditz sighed. Walking over, Raditz used his boot to shove Kakarot onto his back then placed the ball of his foot on his brother's neck, "Now tell me, what is your name?"

"I'm going to kill you!"

"Nope, although closer than your answer was two days ago." Raditz applied pressure to Kakarot's neck, "Try again."

"Kakarot."

"Good, who are you?"

"Son of Bardock, descendant of the Oozaru, from the planet Vegeta, and a Saiyan Warrior."

"Much better. And your mission?"

"To purge everyone on this planet!"

"Very good." Raditz stepped away from Kakarot, releasing his brother, "Get up, the more you move, the faster the drugs will work their way out of your system."

"I'm going to kill you!" Kakarot sat up, still glaring at his brother, "That was awful!"

"Get over it, you were being a brat. I did what I had to do."

"But I hated that!"

"Well, if you had done your job, or at the very least behaved as a proper Saiyan, you wouldn't have to do it. Don't blame me for your stupidity." Raditz grinned, this was kind of fun. He really didn't get the chance to back talk against other Sayians well, ever. "If you need to blame someone, blame those bastards that turned you into their pet."

Kakarot growled in response.

"Once you're up and moving, my scouter picked up a village about ten miles from here. I bet some rampant destruction will make you feel better." Raditz offered, internally rolling his eyes at his brother's theatrics.

Kakarot grinned at the thought of tearing somebody limb from limb; that would make him feel better.
