Sneak Peek:

"Heiress, it's heiress." Adam corrected as he walked closer while clutching a vial of red Dust. "Weiss Schnee." He almost snarled. "Heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, the largest Dust company built on the blood sweat and tears of the Faunus' they abuse."

"What—" Weiss tried to interject with her face flushed with anger.

"Tell me, Schnee, how many Faunus do you think died to mine this single vial of Dust that you're tossing about." The snowflake symbol in the glass vial cracked a bit more under his grip. It was getting harder to think, to restrain himself as he thought about his fallen comrades. He held out the vial to the heiress.

She humphed and stormed away. Probably for the best, he didn't think he could hold back if she had taken the vial. He didn't want to wait around and test his patience some more, so he also left the courtyard.

His mind was a mess, he couldn't help but fall into the mindset that he was trying to change when he saw a Schnee treating Dust so carelessly. If she had done so in a mine, she would've killed everyone.

He took a deep breath in and out, Adam wanted to change and become someone Blake would respect again. He wanted to be someone Ghira would be proud of. But the rage inside his heart wouldn't just disappear overnight. If he couldn't change himself, he wouldn't be able to help Blake.

When everyone else was eating dinner in the dining hall, Adam was exiting an elevator to the headmaster's office.

"Adam, thanks for joining us." Ozpin spoke cordially.

The rest of the people present weren't as inclined to speak to an extremist so casually.

"Kill anyone yet?" Qrow asked offhandedly as he took a swig from his flask.

"Qrow!" Glynda snapped.

Adam pushed down a desire to just leave this place already, however they had saved his life and they hadn't turned him over yet. There was also the matter of tracking down the girl who had asked for his help and then ambushed someone else, he would apparently need their help.

"Have you made up your mind yet?" Ozpin asked and then sipped from his mug. "Do you want to be a student or a staff member?

Adam grunted, he didn't want to be either, but he had to choose, and he also had to take into consideration that Amber would be given the opposite role.
