Saphron jumped out of her bed, she thought she was awake, but felt like she was sleeping.

Tears. She was crying.

Listening to her body, she walked out her room and to the kitchen.

Nothing she did mattered, the nightmare kept repeating.

She entered the tiled room, and saw her brother sitting at the table.

"What are you doing?" She heard herself echo endlessly.

"Solving a problem." He said as he placed a screwdriver on the table, the tip facing upwards.

"Why don't you ask —XXX— for help?" Her question remained the same, but different names mixed together.

Jaime sighed. Saphron wanted to dive forward and give him a hug, but she just stood there. And watched as he slammed his face against the screwdriver. His head bounced up and she could see the screwdriver handle sticking out the corner of his eye.

The echoes of Saphrons who were able to keep talking continued. "What are you going to do with that?"

Saphron stared at the still body of her brother as his echo answered. "Lobotomy."

Saphron jumped out of her bed, she thought she was awake, but felt like she was sleeping.

Tears. She was crying.
