Quick announcement I'm writing this mostly from the perspective of Gojo and Suguru, so I'll be using words like aircraft, men in black, man in white, girl in red because neither of them know the actual name of these things and people.

Chapter 3 - Encounters.

It has now been a few days since Satoru's and Geto's arrival in Remnant and it was not easy. With no home and no money, no identification, not to mention dead end jobs. It was definitely a rough time, that was until Geto's boss was able to get in contact with one of her friends allowing them to afford a small two room apartment, it had the necessities like the kitchen even though neither have ever cooked before, the restroom, the living space and finally one singular room. The apartment was definitely crowded but it was better than nothing I suppose.

Now back with Satoru, he stood behind the counter wearing his jujutsu tech uniform and over them was a mechanics apron. Checking out item after item, the majority of their customers were females, it seemed like Satoru's looks definitely boosted business and finally after a long day of sales, Satoru stretched. From outside the window, one could tell it was nighttime and that would mean his shift was just about to end.

"Hey old man, I'm going to go use the restroom real quick." Satoru said to his employer as he took off the mechanics apron, in response, his employer took charge of the front counter.

As Satoru headed to the restroom, he saw the girl from earlier. Stopping to watch, he thought about their encounter.

Earlier… some girl in a red hood walked in without much talking because she had her headphones on or something, he still wasn't used to calling the technology from this world an entirely new name, like scrolls? That's a phone with weird functions. Paying her no attention, he went to do his business.

Not long after Satoru left, the doors suddenly opened with multiple men walking in. The rest wore full black suits with red ties and glasses, finally topping it off with black fedoras. Their supposed leader had slanted, dark-green eyes and long orange hair. Long bangs covered his right eye with a black eyeliner tracing his visible left eye. He wore a three buttoned long sleeved white jacket with the sleeves tucked into gloves, black pants, and elegant looking leather shoes. A gray collar covered his neck, and finally a black fedora with a red lining across his brim.

The man in white was the first to speak after removing a cigar from his mouth. "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a dust shop opened this late?" he said as one of his henchmen took out his gun that was designed weirdly; maybe it was supposed to shoot something else other than bullets? He then pointed it at the owner.

"Please, just take my lien and leave." the owner said, raising his arms to show he was not a threat.

"Calm down, we're not here for your money. Grab the dust." he ordered his henchmen in which one took out a case full of tube-like containers? Yeah… a lot of technology that really made no sense.

The men in black each took a tube before going up to the dust filled glass tubes. With a sound, they filled up the tubes in their hands with dust. Another case then was placed on the glass counter.

"Crystals, burned uncut." he ordered which the owner then started grabbing the crystals from under his glass counter.

One of his henchmen then went onto the other side of the store and was just about to fill another container with dust but with a glance to his left, he saw someone in a red hood.

"Alright kid, put your hands up where I could see them." he said, drawing his red machete and pointing it at the kid in front of him. But all you could hear was the music playing from her headphones. "Hey! I said hands in the air!" he repeated himself but to no avail, the kid didn't move a single muscle. "You got a death wish or something?" he said, grabbing the child's shoulder.

The girl in the red hood turned around with a "huh?"

The man in black used his hand to signal her to take off her headphone by pointing at his ear.

"Yes?" she replied, taking off her headphones.

"I said put your hands in the air, Now!" he repeated one more time.

"Are you robbing me?" she questioned whether what's happening in front of her was true or not."

"Yes!" he replied harshly, trying to send a message.

"Oh…"

With that interaction done, the man in black was thrown across the store crashing into something… not really sure what he crashed into.

There was then quick interaction between the man in white and another man in black. With a single wave of his head, the man in white signaled to his henchmen to check out the anomaly.

Running up to the girl in a red hood, he pointed his gun at her before saying "freeze!" and with no interaction between the two at all, he was kicked out of the window shattering glass with the girl in red following up causing everyone else to check by poking their heads out.

Satoru was in the restroom washing his hands and just as he was just about done wiping the water away with a paper towel, he heard a loud crash. It sounded like a window shattering with a body flying out.

Satoru stood there in silence, then a grin appeared on his face. For the last few days, he was unable to really do anything except for work and now with a real reason, he could maybe have a little fun. If what he heard was correct; that huntsman's and huntresses would occasionally come to the store, that would mean a fight just broke loose and why? Well… he couldn't care less to ask.

Dashing out of the rest room, he saw a young girl in red currently confronting multiple men in black suits, it was the same one that was in the store earlier that he barely had any interaction with. Looking at her, she wielded a giant mechanical scythe? Where the heck did, she put that?

He watched her movements carefully and could tell the girl in the red hood had skill, and that speed. Was that her semblance? He didn't know too much about aura or semblances but with the information he's accumulated, it was not a far stretch to call that a semblance.

The girl in red attacked with her scythe skillfully using it to flip around kicking, which he concluded might've been her main gimmick. The fight didn't last all that long with her taking care of everyone in black suits leaving the one in white left.

The man in white looked at his henchmen on the ground with one ending up near his feet. Disappointed, he berates them. "You were worth every scent. Truly you were."

Suddenly sirens could be heard not too far away leading to the man in white to drop his cigar on the ground before crushing it with his cane.

"Well red, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening. And as much as I love to stick around afraid this is where we part ways." he said as he lifted up his cane pointing it at the girl in red. What looks to be a scope then appeared from the bottom of the cane before a blast was shot out.

This was when Satoru jumped in catching the attention of the two, especially the man in white, for some odd reason someone jumped in front of his attack? Satoru tried jumping in front of the girl to protect her from the explosion but unknown to him, the girl in red had already jumped over the explosion meaning his infinity took the attack for absolutely no reason.

"Hey, are you alright!?" she yelled out worried for whoever just tried to save her but ended up in the crossfire instead.

"Yeah, I should be fine."

"And… you are?"

"We met earlier in the shop, but you were too busy to notice me."

"I can apologize later, but…" she trailed off trying to find the man in white finally finding him climbing up a ladder attached to a white bricked building.

"You okay if I go after him?" she questioned the owner walking out of the store.

"Uh-huh." he replied, allowing the girl in red to chase the man in white.

"Boss, mind if I go after him as well?"

Satoru's boss looked at him for a while and finally decided yes with a nod. In his mind Satoru was still related to the Schnee family some way or another and should be able to take care of himself but in reality, Satoru was not. Satoru will need to apologize to him in the future at some point; maybe never but let's let fate decide.

"Sweet!"

The girl in red tried running after the man in white but was soon stopped as she was now floating in the air with Satoru's hand on her back.

"I'd recommend you to protect your head if anything happens." he told the girl he was now holding in midair. Satoru then held out his palm in the air and a split second later, the man in white was now also floating in midair upside down in front of Satoru as they make eye contact with the man in white somewhat shocked and for the girl in red? She was fangirling, even though she's a dork when it comes to weapons, it was always nice seeing a new semblance.

"Hey, what's your Semblance! Does it have to do with teleportation?" She questioned but Satoru ignored her.

"This is my reverse curse technique. Red!" Satoru said, pointing two fingers towards the man in white's head. A red ball of energy then appeared becoming more and more condensed, soon enough it released a red glow that engulfed almost everything… but then it deactivated.

Everyone went quiet, the man in white who was blocking his head from impending doom suddenly stared back at Satoru.

"I failed!" Satoru said comedically punching the man in white in the face and with that he released his technique allowing the girl in red he was still holding to drop down. "I really thought I could do it that time." he said with his hand up in front of his face to examine it.

"Persistent." the man in white said, still recuperating from the punch earlier.

This caused Satoru to question if he put enough force in that punch but then a thought came to mind. "Was that aura? I heard it can heal and protect its users…"

Then suddenly a flying craft appeared from behind the building they were on, and it looked like nothing he's seen before.

The man in white then climbed in without either of them doing anything when they could've.

"End of the line you two!" the man in white threw the dust crystal he was able to snatch from the store at the two. The girl in red backed up a bit to allow the object to land for some reason and Satoru? Yeah, he just stayed put, it's not like it could get through his infinity.

Either way, someone jumped right in front of the two as an explosion went off.

The man in white was celebrating a little but that celebration soon turned into a questioning look. Now in front of the two was a woman with blonde hair tied up in a bun, a black cape with a purple inside and in a teaching garment? She was also rather tall; maybe around the same height as Satoru himself if she didn't have heels on. Who was this woman?

In front of her was a purple circle composed of symbols which looked like a magic circle he's seen in a fantasy anime or game before. In her right hand, she held a disciplinary stick? Maybe a teacher at some institution that teaches you how to fight? The only one's he's heard of are combat schools or the prestigious Beacon.

Fixing her glasses, she waved the disciplinary stick in her hand causing thin purple beams of energy to fly out and attack the aircraft.

The man in white stumbled around in the still opened doors before stabilizing his footing. He then ran up to the front of the cockpit. "We got a huntress." he said to the person operating the aircraft causing the unknown assailant to give control over to the man in white.

With another stroke of her disciplinary stick, a purple light shot out into the sky above the aircraft causing a storm. Then with a wave downwards from the women, ice fragments shot out embedding itself on the aircraft.

Suddenly someone new was in the picture and that was the assailant of the man in white. Her arms up to her chest glowed with a fiery aura and soon the unknown assailant shot fire at the three only for the women in front of him to block it. Then with another hand sign from the unknown assailant, the ground below her started to combust with her doing an acrobatic flip back.

Satoru has been observing everyone since seeing the red hooded girl take on the men in black, but he couldn't see it. His eyes would always allow him to instantly analyze everything; specifically curse techniques and curse energy but he couldn't see anything about the people surrounding him except the soul which exuded an aura that surrounded the body.

Waving around her disciplinary stick again, the debris around her started to float up turning into a giant javelin. It spun before shooting out only to have it countered by another fireball from the unknown assailant. But that didn't stop it as it just manifested itself again soon attacking the aircraft only for it to barely avoid fatal damage. Waving her hand that was still holding the disciplinary stick this time, the javelin turned into three strings as it surrounded the aircraft.

The unknown assailant moved her arms together manifesting a dome of energy turning the surrounding debris into nothing but flares in the sky.

The girl in red next to him then turned her scythe into something of a gun? Definitely unique. Satoru then tried his blue to catch the aircraft, but it went in a totally different direction…? It was almost as if something was disrupting his curse technique from functioning correctly.

Satoru was smart, much more than he is given credit for and with a bit of thinking, he came to realize. "Dust…" he muttered to himself. Dust was mother nature's ultimate trump card when it came to the grim, creatures of negativity. His curse technique was brimming with curse energy; the manifestation of negative emotions, they're both different but use the same logic. Did he now have a weakness capable of being exploited?

With his failed blue, the aircraft was given a chance to fly away bursting into the sky. Only if his blue functioned correctly, he could've brought down the thing. But while all that happened, he could hear the girl in red fangirling for some reason, soon enough she asked for an autograph? Only for them both to be put into the same interrogation room.

"I hope you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young lady. You put yourself and others in great danger." she said walking back in fourth around the table in the room.

"They started it!" the girl in red retorted but was ignored.

"If it were up to me, you'd be sent home… with a pat on the back… and a slap on the wrist." the blonde woman said, finally finishing her sentence as she swung down her disciplinary stick on the girl in red's wrist causing her to yelp. "And you young man, you didn't even show up on our records not to mention you a bystander took it upon yourself to join this dangerous scuffle."

Hearing this Satoru was somewhat irritated, only if she knew he'd been fighting curses that feed on human negativity his whole life and technically have more experience at fighting. But it was impossible to prove who was the more skilled fighter.

"Now back on track. There is someone here to meet you two." She said moving away from the door and from the void came a man with silver hair and brown eyes. He wore your usual professor's attire but with most of his clothing being various green colors and was rather tall, maybe taller than Satoru himself.

Satoru expected to only be with the girl in red but why was Geto there? And he was standing next to the man in green in front of him. "Suguru…?" he questioned his longtime friend.

"What did you get into trouble with this time?" Geto questioned Satoru wanting to know how his friend ended up in such a situation, though it wouldn't be the first.

Geto was doing his normal job, tending to customers taking on their orders. Nothing out of the ordinary really. That was until his coworker told him to take out the trash. Not wanting to lose his only job that he acquired without an identification he did what he was told. With ease, Geto lifted up the trash bag into the bin behind the cafe. That was until his senses went off.

"A curse spirit." he thought to himself before dashing off leaving his one and only job. He'd definitely lose it but with a curse spirit running around, he couldn't just let it be.

Geto ran towards where he sensed the curse energy and since it was close enough there was no need to use any of his curses to close the distance. Turning a corner of a building he saw a curse that looked like a weapon? Its design was that of a long sword, but it had eyes all around it and the weapon itself looked like it was made of flesh and bones.

The multiple eyes of the curse spirit then noticed Geto and flew at him, causing him to dodge to the side. With the weapon curse spirit missing its initial attack, it turned around and changed its form into a gun and shot curse energy flesh bullets at Geto with him summoning a curse that could protect him from the shots.

Quickly thinking, he summoned cursed hands from the ground to grab the weapon changing curse spirit. With it now subdued, he summoned ranged curses to fire at the weapon putting holes in its form leaving it alive as a gun handle.

Geto was then about to absorb the curse but stopped when he heard a voice from behind him.

"Well, it seems like I wasn't needed."

Turning around, Geto saw a man with silver hair and brown eyes wearing a green attire that looked like a professors.

"And you are?" he questioned the new person.

The man in the green attire was a little stunned by this remark. He was the headmaster of Beacon after all and a very public figure but the child in front of him didn't know who he was?

Geto looked a bit closer only to realize who the man was. "Headmaster Ozpin of Beacon?"

"So, it seems like you do know me."

"Not much… but it's public knowledge."

"I'll introduce myself again. I am Headmaster Ozpin, and you are?"

"Geto Suguru." Geto replied changing the places of his name because of the English language that could be seen around.

"Sounds unique…" Ozpin replied, it was not a name usually found in Remnant.

"I'll have to take care of this… before it gets away first." Geto said, almost calling the curse spirit in front of him a curse spirit.

"You know what that creature is?"

"Why should I tell you anything?"

"Why don't we conduct a trade then?"

"A trade?"

"Yes, one where you answer one of my questions, and I'll answer yours."

Geto didn't really want to tell the people of this world that curses could kill anyone whenever it wanted but he also needed information. Plus, he didn't even have one of those so-called scrolls yet, assuming it worked the same as the internet from his world.

"Sure."

"May I ask what type of creature that is?" Ozpin said nonchalantly almost as if he's already met one, which was no surprise. With him and Satoru only being able to do so much within a vicinity, it was normal if others have already encountered their own curse spirit.

"This will take a long time. Mind if I take care of this guy first?"

Ozpin nodded, not wanting the unknown creature that was just recently found to be weak to only dust and nothing else to get away.

Geto lifted up his arm and soon the curse spirit on the ground dissolved into blue energy creating a sphere on his hand. All the while this was happening, Ozpin observed the boy closely waiting for what he was going to do with the creature trapped in the ball but came to horror when the boy swallowed it?

"This is going to be a long night." Ozpin said to himself already predicting the large amount of information he'll have to absorb but at that moment his scroll ringed. He took it out to view it. "Mr. Suguru, we'll have to postpone our talk for later."

"Is there something wrong?"

"We'll you see, I have someone I want to talk to right now and it seems like she's with someone named Satoru… now that I think about it for some reason, I could feel that you two might have a connection."

"We know each other…"

Ozpin looked at the boy and this was his chance to hit two birds with one stone. If the feeling at the back of his head was correct, these two could be great allies in the future.

"Change of plans it seems. Why don't you come with me then."

"I was still in the middle of my shift so…"

"That should be alright. If they knew that you were with the headmaster of Beacon, then you'd definitely be let off without much trouble."

With their conversation done, the two went to the police station where the red hooded girl and white-haired boy were held.

End of Chapter 3

Note:

Thank you for reading chapter three of my fanfic and I like to apologize for not posting this sooner, this chapter was done like a week ago but I just never posted it. Criticism is always welcomed.

I've read a few of the reviews and yes I do agree with everyone, especially with someone who pointed out that Geto should be special grade for his ability to control multiple special grade curses but this fanfic takes place before the Hidden Inventory Arc meaning yes, Geto is special grade after it but before the hidden inventory arc he isn't, this was clearly shown in the manga; chapter 73, where a chart is explaining Curse Manipulation, there's also a reddit post on it if anyone wanted a better understanding.
