Goodness were already a quarter of the way into the new year, time is flying FAST. well as I've said before I'll begin staring the sequel of this story today and judging by the votes that are in so far it will be the good path versions of the characters heading over however it is not too late for that to change there still two weeks left in the vote so go to my profile for the link!

It's honestly what I'd expect of the outcome really although personally I find either of the mixed options more interesting, as I said their won't be a separate path this time since I'm combining all of the continuities together already however there is a non-zero chance of (as in .0000000001 repeating) that a monster path could spring up as that would go in a completely different diction into RAINBOW ROCKET territory instead of the traditional XY storyline
Love Knights, Blizzards, and Love Slaves: Non-killing Army, Blizzard Bunch, Bang, Bomb, Genos
The large, bright light in the sky vanished as quickly as it came, and everyone started to discuss what it was and what it said. Luckily, Toru was able to parse through the light with her vision, allowing her to at least partially see the perpetrator. It seemed to be a human, or more likely, a monster of some kind, but she couldn't figure out what the monster had said. Luckily, they had just the person for that, and she told them that the monster said something along the lines of that the monster that died during the fighting would continue to fight, which led people to speculate what the monster meant. the consensus was that he was going to turn them into zombies and not a moment later did they hear over comms unit multiple of the group leader stating that the monster that they had once killed had sprung up back to life almost good as new and were attacking them again, the teens partially panicked on what they should do now but as Bakugo and genos cleared the whole the cyborg remarked that he would go and assist in neutralizing the other monsters from attacking the different groups and Momo relayed that information to Child Emperor so that he and the other S-class could be assured that they could help handle the situation so they could continue with their objective.
Before genos left however he handed her a microchip, it was a direct line to Dr. Genus and within it had some data dealing with Bakugo's bracers but there was something else as well but it was locked behind a passcode, genos remarked what lay behind that was something for him if he deemed it necessary for the occasions he would request that she make it for him, Momo understood but remarked that she would need time to understand whatever it is so it would be wise to at least allow her access to at least the chemical components so she could have an easier time making it, Genos hesitated for a moment, but agreed and allowed her some basic access to the device. It wasn't too important for her to simply have it, but he didn't like the idea of anyone having access to Dr. Genus technology, no matter how miniscule the device, but it would save him a lot of time, so it couldn't be helped.
When that was taken care of he continued off and away but Momo also wanted offer him aid in someway, this was mostly in the form of another machine from metal knight, she knew that genos would be alright but she doubted that he would be fast enough to help all of the groups in time, their were a lot of monsters out there and their was no telling when the creature that resurrected them could return and do it all over again so this time, she conjured one of the level seven security drone that metal knight showed her this system was also different then the last two it walked around on two large legs and were more square then the previous models only lifting off the ground to around 20ft or so but in comparison to the other machines it was much faster it's two legs worked similar to a frogs it allowed them to jump with also jet power assistance gain extreme distance with some speed, as for weaponry it was armed to the teeth, two massive cannons marked it's undercarriage as its prime armament and this was in conjunctions with smaller caliber weapon in the center on it's wings that were somewhat similar to airfoil wings found on planes but these contained each were missiles she didn't know how many only being described being able to single handily "destroy multiple cities blocks" worth and she was hesitant to allow it to go free into the environment but it was to late to go back now that they had left and joined the fighting the opposite way that genos himself went.
The rest of the team gathered into the hole and was about to make their way inside. The only holdup was that the two "leaders" were constantly in a bickering war over who would challenge DO-S first. Both women had a bone to pick with the monster, but who would take her down would be the "victor." In their internal rivalry they had between the two of them, the blizzard bunch and those who called themselves" a part of her "love knights'' would also have a rivalry, but seeing that some of the monsters like Aki, Torax, Asterius, and Volten were a part of it, they had taken a step back from everything and allowed Fubuki to handle it similarly. Bakugo had enough of the bickering and decided to just go ahead in front of them while they were arguing, using his explosive cannons times two to drill through the remaining rock and earth and straight into the room of the monster association.
The assault group went inside the hole Bakugo created and took a look around at the number of things they saw. The teens were somewhat disturbed by what they were seeing, which was essentially a labyrinth of BDSM gear along with strange and cruel torture equipment, to the point of some being confused about which was which, but Goddess Glasses was quick to instruct the more curious girls, Toru and Mina, on what things were, how they functioned, and how they could be used for certain activities.
Their boyfriends quickly sturred the conversation back to the topic at hand. Goddess Glasses chuckled and allowed it. She told the assault force that she wanted to get into that room in particular because of a certain item that she wanted them to destroy, she checked over the large table in the room before spotting the chest on the table and fishing out the thing that she was looking for before and presenting it to the rest of them, it was a metallic whistle of some kind and she informed them that this whistle a dog whistle that would summon over grown rover, asterius, and torax reacted instantly without hesitation and asterius taking thing one step forward and drawing his weapon on her but she confirmed her allegiance by explaining that she just wanted to ensure that it was destroyed if rover came then along then things could be trouble even with all of them there.
She remarked while handing the whistle into Bakugo's hand, who used an explosion and destroyed it just in time, as well as the doors to the main room proper swung open, revealing none other than DO-S. The shock at her arrival in her torture chamber quickly turned into pain as she was suddenly flung backward as both Goddess Glass and Fubuki attacked the monster with her love beam and hell-storm simultaneously. Both girls looked towards each other for a moment before nodding and strutting forward into the monster ladies' love den.
It was there where they found the other captives, but what surprised the teens was that they looked rather different than they expected; they seemed to have monsterized and growing horns, spikes, animal traits, or even a combination of the three. DO-S was just finishing standing up after getting blasted across the room. Several monsters inside looked upon their mistress in pain and rage past their features, but none dared attack until she gave the order. Once she got her bearing and raised herself enough, she looked upon the new arrivals with disdain and some intrigue.
"You decided to throw your lot in with the humans? Glasses? I'm disappointed, and here I thought you admired me." do-s said
"Oh, I did, but that changed when you tried to have me killed!" Glasses replied, sending a large beam across the top of the ceiling, sending a bunch of debris raining down, blocking the exit, and leaving DO-S with nowhere to run.
"I'm here as well. You're going to pay for making a fool of me and turning my subordinates against me." Fubuki remarked, stepping out into the fray. She lifted her hands, spotted the misplaced whip from across the ground, quickly picked it up, and swung it in her direction. DO-S quickly scrambled to catch the whip, but she was again struck and slammed back into the wall by the goddess's attack beam.
"I'm curious how you would fare without your little tricks," Fubuki remarked as she held the whip in her hands before handing it off to one of her subordinates behind her.
"Tch, I don't need it to command them, idiots! You lot! If you want your whipping, please go and retrieve my whip for me." DO-S said, and all of the love-struck monsters on the ground turned toward the group with angered and enraged expressions. They charged the encampment of people, each eagerly going along to attack whoever held the whip at the time.
The assault team charged right in to engage them, and most of the monsters were easily dispatched and taken care of by the combined force of the non-killing army, the blizzard bunch, and the monster on their side. The only difficult members seemed to be ones in ornate power armor of some kind, but Midoirya, Todoroki Bakugo, and Tokoyami were easily able to subdue them, crushing them into the walls of the large room and knocking them unconscious. This only left DOS ready to fight. The monster had tried to run away, but she was immediately set upon by the two women who had set out to block the hole she created to escape while the others were distracted. The esper sister and the monster seemed to have agreed to work together to fight the monster, and both of them came together, striking the monster with fists, rocks, beams, and lasers. Dos tried in vain to fight back, but the two showed a surprising amount of teamwork in their efforts to dismantle the monster, beating her down until she was helpless on the floor.
"Hehe, see, without distraction, you are nothing to me, and your minions have failed you; this is the power of the new Fubuki group," Fubuki remarked, standing on the girl's head; this was joined by Goddess Glass doing similarly, stepping on her head as well.
"Along with my love knights, unlike your slaves, they would do what they want for me without being brainwashed to do so." Glasses remarked similarly.
DO-S internally screamed at both parties. There was no way Fubuki would have S-class working under her, but more importantly, what was up with Glass's strength? Even without Fubuki, she didn't know if she could beat her or what happened to her and the love knights. She cast a glance at the other monsters in the room, so they were hers. Each of them lacked the strange pupils that signified her control, so at least she was telling the truth. But the primary force was the non-killing army, and now that she got an even closer look, Bang was there as well. That was four S-class present; she definitely couldn't get away even if she tried to escape, which only left one other option for her.
"I...I surrender..glasses I'm sorry for trying to kill you, but you know how Orochi is... I had no other option. and Lady Fubuki, I'll... I'll work for you, please. Either of you, please." DO-S remarked.
"Hmmm? You say that, but I have no reason to trust what you say now, do I? What do you think of glasses?" fubuki asked
"Hmmm? I agree; she's the type to try to weasel her way out of everything when she realizes she's lost. I would elect to kill her if I had my way, but given our current company, that seems to be not an option," she stated, looking over her shoulder at the teens, each of whom was giving her looks and checking over the others.
"Say, what about this whip? Do you think I could get her to do what we say if we whip her enough?" fubuki asked
"I don't know, but it can't hurt to find out!" Glass remarked with a large smile, showing off her sharp teeth. The two then began whipping the monster as the others watched on questioningly.
Bang, Bomb, Ojiro, and Midoirya all looked over the unconscious monsterized civilians.
"It seems that the reason they didn't show up on the scans is that they have been monsterized." ojiro commented
"The ones under Fubuki came back to their senses, but these are still the way they are," Bang commented.
"They've been here for quite some time; that's probably the reason why." ojiro added on
"What are we to do with them if they don't transform back?" Bomb asked
"If that's the case, we can just put them in the reserve and maybe create a separate section for them if they aren't as wild as the other monsters." Deku proposed
There was a momentary gasp as a number of the people started to wake up, but more than that, their monsterization started to reverse, and they all started to turn back into humans again. The teens quickly went to work, restraining them, checking them over again for anything, and leading them outside and away from the danger. The private squad that had originally been sent to rescue the child thanked them for the assistance and guaranteed that they would see the civilians out of the combat zone to the safety of the hero association perimeter, but the teens didn't want to leave them alone, so four of them joined along with them: Iida, Sato, Tsu, and Uraraka. However, some of the mercenaries expressed wanting to kill DO-S as well.
On their way out, seeing that the monster was being carried by Goddess Glass herself, the women having been put to sleep by a helmet that Momo created for her, they were able to ward them off, and they left without much trouble guiding the people along with them. With their main objective down, Fubuki didn't have much else to do at the monster association, but she found it only polite to stay and help the non-killing army so that the two groups could remain on friendly terms, but she wanted them to be in her debt for doing so.
Bomb, Bang, and Midoirya We're getting ready to head off in search of Garou, along with the help of Torax and Asterius. Both of them knew the base the best out of all of them, and they wanted to use Torax's great sense of smell to hopefully trace his wayward pupil down while the rest of the teens stayed near this exit where they could help the surface team if they needed it or respond to any distress calls over the heroes comms before leaving. However, Bang had taken Midoirya off to the side to talk about what they had just witnessed.
"So what are your thoughts, young Midoirya? Seeing the monster turn back into a human again seemed to suggest to me that the trigger for monsterization was in their hearts. Gyoro-Gyoro said that Garou had also become a "half-monster." This should mean that he too could return to being human once more, don't you agree?" Bang questioned
"I… I don't know; maybe it is not completely the same, but... remember what we discussed before? Even if he does want to become a monster, it shouldn't be looked at as something bad. When you find him, you should talk to him and see what monster he wants to be, and then go from there. The more you attempt to deny him what he wants, the more he's going to try and resist you." Midoirya replied, and Bang's eyes widened for a moment as he took in the boy's words.
He was correct, of course, similar to the sea or the wind, but just like his martial arts, he needed to not face the boy head-on but redirect his cause into something more positive and helpful, but that would likely be much harder said than done. He chuckled for a moment, thinking this was just how he was when he was younger, but this time he would have to play his brother's role.
"Thank you, young Midoirya. I will try to keep that in mind when our inevitable confrontation occurs. Shall we begin our search?" Bang remarked, bringing a hand to the boy's shoulder before removing it.
"Yes, I'll see you later, guys. Be safe." Midoirya replied before turning to his class.
"Good luck, Bang; I hope you find him," Fubuki remarked as Bomb drilled a large hole in the wall, and with that, the five-member team left and started to make their way down the hallway.
Speed: Flash, Silver chain, Gale wind, Hellfire Flame
Silver Chain and Flash walked along the halls of the monster association. Flash predictably assumed that the girl wouldn't be the one taking care of all the monsters in their travels, as she left several to come and attack him. Of course, they posed no actual threat, so it didn't matter either way that they died by him or her; it also offered him some opportunity to mildly stretch his limbs in preparation for the inevitable fight that was to occur.
He was curious still about how easy everything had been; the monsters they were facing were somewhat stronger than the ones on the surface, but they were fairly marginal bumps in power in comparison. Did they hope to exhaust them? Before sending in the cadre to fight, it would make the most sense, but they would likely need hundreds, no, thousands, of more monsters to ever hope to achieve such a thing against him even without the girl there, and this plot of theirs worked even better for him now that there would be no need for any cleanup.
If the monsters were as fearless as they have been so far, even mindless beasts could know when they were beaten and outmatched if enough of them were killed off, but maybe it was the false comfort of these so-called cadres that motivated them. That could also be a reason why the cadre was being reserved instead of attacking them directly to keep morale high amongst their forces, like a legendary general who, while mighty, stayed from the fighting front to give his subordinates the illusions of victory as long as he still stands. In that event, once he disposes of the cadre, should he take something of theirs as a trophy to break the will of the other monsters he faces?
It likely wouldn't matter as long as this monster, King Orochi, continued to exist, so it was a rather useless train of thought he felt as the two of them continued down the pathway. Several monsters attempted to "ambush" them, but it was too sloppy-made or too clean of a cut, which didn't mention their excitement and killing intent, which gave themselves away to the point he believed their hiding spots were just trying to hide their hideous appearance from him and that none of them were worthy enough to grace his presence, and if that were the reason, he would have held a modicum of respect for the monsters instead of the joke their true intentions were.
When He was finished clearing up his next room and started to begin his journey deeper into the base he stopped for a moment to listen to the message that came over the comm feed it was from the captains from above the group leaders expressed that there had been a brilliant light in the sky and that multiple monsters seemed to come back to life this revelation was a surprise to a number of the S-class heroes involved but before they could responds it was Child Emperor that came on the comms next, he told them that demon cyborg had reportedly joined the fighting and would help with the surface team up top at least from what Neith told him what was transpiring but now they needed to be careful on watching their backs.
He talked about a brief description they had of the supposed monster with such alarming ability; it looked mostly like a person but had avian features along with four wings on its back. With that information out, their child emperor told everyone to proceed with caution and to watch their backs. The surface teams reported that some monsters were still dead while others were resurrected, but they're still trying to figure out why that was or what type of injury renders them incapable of doing so. So far, any creature cut to ribbon or blown to pieces has not been revived, but those that were crushed or broken would be. The surface team would respond with more detail when they had more information.
Flash looked at the girl and debated if he should inform her of what he was told, she should have been on the surface right now so she would have already known about the phenomenon, and the fact that she was down there could be seen as a neglection of duty or a strategic attempt to weaken the surface squad leaving them open to attack, Flash thought it was highly suspect if she had been the commander of the group he would find her actions suspicious as that would eliminate the possibility for them to communicate with the other groups entirely but she had taken a subordinate role to what he could only imagine is her subordinate at least if strength was the measure of their village like it was his.
So she planned to come all along from the very beginning. He told her about how the surface team would be left weakened with her being down here with him and what she would think about her clansman being injured, but she simply shook her head and remarked that she wasn't worried much about them on the surface and even surprised him when she spoke of how the monsters being revived was a shock; it wouldn't matter much, and that if she did need assistance, they had others on the surface that she could call upon. Flash at first assumed that she had tapped into the communications network; if she was as good as he believed her to be, then it should have been fairly standard procedure because if not that village of hers, he would deem it a complete embarrassment, but as she finished, he found it was likely more than that she had other accomplices out there, and judging by the sword on her back, he could imagine who it was.
"These allies you refer to—it's not the other squads, but the non-killing army, isn't it?" Flash asked
"Who knows, but the surface team should be alright with Genos out there regardless." Silver Chain remarked as she continued to move forward, and Flash trailed behind her.
"You place confidence in those who would want to save and work alongside monsters?" Flash spoke out.
"I'm working alongside you, aren't I?" The girl replied simply, and Flash raised an eyebrow at that, but the conversation ended there.
He was moderately curious about her village, mainly because comparing her tech level with that of the other one outside seemed to scream a night and day difference between the two. Was it possibly some illegal modification she made to herself and their clan that simply allowed them to empower themselves individually, or was it something more and the other ninja lacked something to gain technology of a similar level?
His village was almost technophobic in their belief that everything you had you either made yourself or gathered from the natural elements, but given what they were, it could make sense. Their strength, no matter how hard they tried, would be inferior, so increasing the technical level would likely be needed to keep up.
Then, the two continued "working alongside" each other, which was mostly both of them trading, which would do something while the other did nothing and just waited for the fight to be over, which both of them almost liked no time at all, so there was hardly any slowdown revolving around speed. However, there was a momentary pause as Silver Chain and Flash read a display on a wall that was etched into it by some individual using the blood of monsters slain in the room. While Silver Chain couldn't decipher it, Flash could.
There was a momentary look of surprise on his face, suggesting that this writing was from his past somehow, but he didn't comment on it, only telling the girl that the two monsters that approached her seemed to be calling him out and giving him directions to follow. He went; he wouldn't let a challenge go unanswered after all, so he led the way for where they needed to go.
The two continued on their way, fighting the occasional monster group and dismantling them with extreme efficiency. Before coming upon another hallway filled with three different monsters.
"Yo, aren't you that super-fast hero, Flash?" A monster spoke as Flash was looking over his communicator and his map layout of the people inside. He looked up and saw three monsters—not the ones he was expecting but more fodder. Despite following along the tails of the writing, there had been a handful of fodder creatures in the way. Some of them would be taken care of by the girl, while Flash simply continued to saunter through. Other times, she would bar him from moving forward until the "threats" behind them had been perished by his hands, but eventually, they had managed to find the ones they were looking for.
"We've been waiting for you for a very long time. We were told that you have been taking this route. We're curious: could you use that speed you're so proud of in these tight corridors? HAHAHA!" The monster spoke before his laugh was cut off as the three of them went down, each with a blade directly through their skull. In case they were still alive, Flash did give them a response.
"I've never boasted about my speed; that's what sidekicks do. Although truth be told, many have said that my battles are over before they even begin." Flash said simply as he moved past as the blood started to spurt from the wounds and the three bodies collapsed to the floor.
He was brought out of the moment by the sound of clapping as he turned his head to stare down a dark corridor. The flames emerged from one individual's sword, casting a light for him to see. There were two of them; the one with the flame on his sword twirled it as the fire came off the sword and landed in the torches on both sides of the hallway.
"Splendid work, Flashy," the blonde man was saying before he was forced to dodge a sword thrust from Flash.
"This is great; this is why you're worth the kill!" the man remarked as he clung to the ceiling.
"Was that as fast as you could?" The brunette was about to say something before he spotted fast movement in the corner of his vision. He quickly turned into his monster form and drew his sword, just barely being able to parry the attack but too to stop the follow-up kick from the girl, sending him sliding back. He touched his shoulder and had his hand come back with a bit of blood there. He glared at the girl in question.
"You can stop pretending now, girl. We can kill him now together," the one on the ceiling remarked before dodging another attack from Flash. He inwardly encouraged such a display as he turned into his monster form before dodging out of the way but pulling the wire to close around the man, but before the net could enclose upon the victim, the girl was there to protect him again, her metal clones coming along and cutting the wire before they could become taught. They fell lifelessly to the ground as Flash fell back down to the floor.
"That was sloppy coming from you." The silver chain taunted
"I would have been fine. I simply had tunnel vision due to who they are." Flash remarked, and the girl was intrigued.
"Good to know that you didn't at least forget the basics of the clan you ended," the monster with blonde hair remarked.
"The traitor who caused the 44th graduation class—the end, Flashy Flash," the brunette remarked simply.
"I'm surprised that you would side with someone who slayed your parents. Did you hate them so much?" The blonde remarked, pointing at the girl, but she merely shrugged her shoulders, unbothered by the taunt.
"From where I'm from, we forget about our past and only strive for a better future." Silver Chain commented simply.
"Hmph, well, after we're done with Flash, there will be no future for you and your pathetic clan, but for now, attention is focused on Flash, not you. We have some friends that can deal with you; they were the ones that gave us the information after all, so they should clean up their failure." The brunette remarked before tapping on something on his cuff, and a moment later there was movement behind them. Silver Chain and Flash both turned to see two robots emerge from behind them: a tall, lanky one accompanied by a smaller one with the head of a screw nut.
"They aren't as strong as we are, as machines can't replicate the strength of us ninjas from the village, but it should be enough to deal with you." The brunette remarked simply: Flash cast a glance at the girl, and their eyes met before the girl gave him a nod and turned to face the robots and move towards the two of them.
"Now, Flash, it's only you vs. us... I had thought the girl would have been a helpful distraction in eliminating you, but it does not matter. I found it bold of the S-class to come and challenge us individually. You all must be very confident," the blonde stated.
"But it did save us a lot of trouble in separating you from the pack," the brunette added.
"Enough chit-chat," Flash remarked simply as he took a single glance at the surroundings, taking note of the metal wiring before zooming forward and slicing it all off before attempting to slash both monsters. They had blocked his strike, both of them halting his attack in his place.
"Hmpf… It's getting a bit cramped in here; let's change locations for a bit." The blonde remarked as the floor beneath them flipped over on them, dropping them down into an expansive cavern.
Silver Chain vs. Hot Rod Brothers
"Big brother, is that the intruder over there?" The smaller robot asked
"Hmm, let me see. Ah, yes. It's an A-class hero." The taller robot remarked
"Ah, what? I thought we were going to fight Flashy Flash; a simple A-rank is no fun," the smaller robot said.
"Maybe this is just a test from the ninja again before they call us for the final event. So let's dispose of her real quick and impress them. Silver Chain today is where you meet your end," the taller brother said. The two brothers were one as the two of them dashed behind the girl.
"How do you like this? We aren't their equals, but we're still up there with the two cadre applicants—hellfire flame and gale wind themselves." The taller brother said
"Yeah, we're essentially just a step below a dragon-level threat. G-wind and G-fire will spell your doom." The shorter brother boasted
"Behold! High-speed spin formation! It's impossible to escape this precise combination of us brothers!' the two shout at the same time as they continued their attack instead of the attacking from the back they instead sped around again this time in front and attempted to strike out but her living metal clones were their to protect her, she had used two of them to counter each of the robots strikes and attacks once the attacks carried on for a couple of seconds she finally decided that she had gotten enough of a mental stretch from directing and coordinating he clones against the brothers attacks that she stood up from her cross seated position and lashed out with a single strike transforming one of the clones into a sword and cutting across the robots formation and striking true the blade pieces directly through the each of the robots heads decapitating them while kabobing them on her makeshift sword, there was a momentary panic from both of the machines in their strange ramblings she was mildly curious about why anyone would program machines this way but when it died down it was quickly replaced by someone else.
"Ah, silver chain I didn't think you would have been able to defeat these machines so easily." Someone she couldn't recognize remarked.
"Who are you?" Silver Chain asked
"I cannot tell you that, of course; I'm surprised. Do you not want to know how I came across your information?" The voice remarked
"I don't need to. I already know who did so. I've known them most of my life. Now, what do you want?" Silver Chain commented simply.
"Well, I was going to ask you about your allegiance to the hero association." The man remarked
"You wish to…poach me? A rival hero agency?" Silver Chain asked
"Your sharp madam, yes indeed, so what do you say?" The disembodied voice said Silver Chain paused for a minute, contemplating her response.
"I shall consider it; however, I would like some confirmation from you revolving around the monsters' cells and their location." Silver Chain remarked, and there was silence for a moment on the other end before, out of the taller robot's head, emerged a holographic image of the base aligned with it; it showed her current position and a direct line to where she needed to go to get to the holding chamber.
"I would ask about what you want with the monster cells, but I assume that I wouldn't get an answer. I hope this proves that I can be a trustworthy and worthwhile ally." The man remarked
"I shall relay your help to the clan," Silver Chain replied as she began to walk away after remembering the passageway. She had already received the information from the monster, but it didn't hurt to be sure that if the data turned out to be wrong, she could inform the non-killing army of the subterfuge.
Flash vs. Hellfire Flame and Gale Wind
began to fall down into the large cavern below he noted the water fall and the large bride before he turned his sights back towards the ninja trio the two of them launched off the former floor now ceiling at him shattering the rest of it into crumbling rock, gale wind shot out six strands of wire from his hands but Flash was able to easily weave through them, slowing his descent and letting the ninja catch up to his fall they came down at hi attempting to perform a combo attack tempest blade kick but Flash had we'ved himself closer to the walls of the cavern allowing himself to doge the attack by jumping up wards which launched him horizontally about the room, Flash used his own swords a balancing tool and kicked off it this allowed him to come around behind the ninja duo before in another attempt to bisect the both of them but both ninja also managed to dodge out of the way in time, the two of them landed next to the waterfall and stood on top of two large rocks, Flash stopped his descent with his sword and stood on it crouched keeping a look on the monsterized ninja duo on the waterfall.
"We are from the 37th graduation class—the golden Hellfire Flame." Hellfire stated.
"Gale wind. We will be your slayers!" gale wind added on as well.
The two dashed off the water fell directly at him and Flash leaped to meet them, the three of them clashed in mid-air exchanging a flurry of slashes and kicks, and they crashed down into the waters below before none of their bodies sunk under the water as they tapped the surface with such intensity that they remained afloat they clashed four more times before they separated again this time each side taking one side of the bridge, Flash had tried to see who their employers were but they seemed to be just fishing for random names of the underworld most of which he already killed, probably out of sheer embarrassment of the act they came at him again as they fought on the top side of the bridge over and over again it was here that they revealed their real goals.
"Shame too; I wouldn't mind her joining us on our journey of world dominance," Hellfire added.
"World dominance is your goal, so why are you bothering me?" Flash questioned
"More than the heroes, it's other powerful individuals from our village who are standing in our way; after all, ninjutsu is quite troublesome," Gale Wind replied.
"Yet there seem to be other ninjas from outside the village that hold potential as well."
"It will be interesting how the former number one of the 44th handles a battle between the top two of the strongest of the graduating class, the 37th." Hellfire Flame stated
"You two are still so full of yourselves; I'll teach you both a lesson about how you'll never be able to surpass me by merely being monsters," Flash remarked, simply pointing his sword in their direction. The three of them launched off again, clashing amongst the bridge. He and Gale clashed again and again. Gale was unable to get through the heroes' defenses while Flash was attempting not to get tunneled vision on a single target. He was suddenly taken off guard when a shot that he blocked held much more power than it originally had during their exchange. He could faintly see the wind circle around his opponent's weapons before they lashed out against him the last time, sending him skidding backward.
Licks of flame blew past him as hellfire met him at his destination. He quickly spun in mid-air and blocked the flaming sword strike with his own. Fire released a blazing, scattering strike flame with a flurry of flaming sword slashes, but he was surprised when the hero remained there, almost completely unphased by it all. That moment's hesitation in his movement allowed Flash to turn to attack Heavy Flashy. The rapid thrusting attack completely shattered the enemy's weapons, striking across his shoulder, forcing him to take several steps back, surprise evident on his face.
"You were aiming for my weapons the entire time?" Flame asked
"I would have thought the golden class would have been better than this." Flash taunted, which garnered an angered punch from the monster, but it missed its mark completely as the field was once again reset.
"We can barely sense any disadvantage in speed or power based on your movements; with your ability, we are likely the only monster that can handle you." Gale Wind spoke as Hellfire Flame lept backward.
"You still don't get it. Hellfire flame, gale wind... I know all of your techniques inside and out because I trained harder than anyone else; the more outstanding the fighter, the more he is set in his ways." Flash spoke simply.
"Is that so?" Gale remarked
"Then we will abandon this fight as ninjas and unleash our true power as monsters." Flame remarked as he discarded his broken sword.
"Consider it our final show of gratitude for the one that made us abandon any of our remaining pride as ninjas," Gale remarked as he threw away his weapons as well.
Flash quickly could see their intent and made the first move this time around jumping up high into the sky, the other two were quickly on his heels but before the two managed to reach him someone else entered into the fray knocking hellfire flame off course and the surprise on gale winds face allowed Flash to strike a blow cutting off one of the ninja's arms, the four ninja sped up quickly throughout the environment crashing into the walls and bridge over and over again, soon after two of the blurring lines quickly slowed down to a stop, gale missing an arm while moving at that tremendous speed was loosing blood equally as quickly and now that Flash didn't have to worry about the other one getting away he could afford not to hold back as much as he clashed with the monster using one of his signature techniques Flashy fist: the rapid barrage of punches pummeled the gale wind completely. Even normally, he would have difficulty blocking such a move with only one arm; it was completely impossible.
The incapacitated monster was completely helpless as Flash cut the monster down the middle as he reached the ground. Flash watched the conflict between the other two fighters he was moderately surprised by how well the girl was performing in the battle she held the edge in the conflict, she was faster and stronger allowing her to land more hits and defend herself from attacks better however she also held the environmental advantage due to her clones, she could use them as platforms to be able to more nimbly maneuver in mid-air and change direction almost instantaneously in comparison to the monster which had to rely on the walls of the cavern but she could also use it to disrupt that flow as well to confuse the ninja even more the final strike was horizontal slash that cut straight through the creatures guard, this sword wasn't made of her traditional metal it was the sword that she carried along her back he felt the weapon fairly redundant given the metal clones originally but the purple gleam along with the explosive effect may hold some advantage in comparison to other one, hellfire flames fell as the girl showed up next to him cleaning her sword first off with the waterfall on the side before sheathing it and walking away as several explosions rang off as the world seemed to have caught up to the battle that just happened.
"Why were you holding back? Getting sentimental about killing the rest of your village?" The girl was questioned.
"Hardly, I simply wanted to kill them at the same time to ensure they didn't get away with your presence; however, I could afford to just kill them quickly." Flash remarked
"Is that a thank you?" Silver Chain asked
"No, just stating the facts; I could have managed to achieve my objective on my own without your help." Flash replied immediately.
"Not without deliberating, letting your guard down most likely." Silver Chain countered, and Flash said nothing in argument as he continued forward.
"What will you do now?" Flash questions.
"I have my mission to complete, so it is here that we part ways. You say that you killed everyone from your clan, and yet another remains a prominent criminal at that. sonic." Silver chain questioned
"I do not actively hunt them down; if they come to attack me, then they will die simply like that." Flash replied.
"So if I kill him, you would not mind?" Silver Chain asked.
"Not at all; feel free," Flash remarked, but Silver Chain could tell that something was different with that response than normal. She chuckled.
"I see. In that case, I will leave him to you." Silver Chain stated before leaving down a different pathway, and then Flash, for a brief moment, thought about his past and his relationship with Sonic. He didn't know if he would want to kill him if it was optional, but if he attempted to take his life, he wouldn't hesitate to finish him off, and then he would truly be the last of the graduation class; he would be the end. Flash quickly switched his mind back to the topics at hand. He searched his pockets for the communicator that the Child Emperor had given him so that he could confirm his position before heading forward.
He told the group that he had successfully killed two of the monster association cadres; out of respect for the girl, he didn't mention her involvement in whatever mission she had planned and the praise he received for defeating said individuals was just seen as a slight bonus of the emission.
Child Emperor and Phoenix King: Child emperor, Phoenix man
Child Emperor proceeded through the monster association base keeping a constant look at his watch, which displayed the motions of all the S-class Everyone had correctly entered into their correct locations well enough, well all except for King's the tracker that was displayed as kings supposedly wasn't king at all but someone else entirely and supposedly his disciple, he believed that was a risky endeavor especially if the man wasn't going to be accompanying the man himself like atomic samurai was for his disciples but this was king they were talking about so his disciple was likely already plenty strong and it seems like zomebieman vouched for him so he would like to believe in his judgment of the case and going by the readings he's making pretty good pace like the rest of them. He decided to forget it for now as he continued along and worried mostly about himself.
The monsters he encountered weren't much more difficult than the ones that had been on the surface, his battle pack was able to clear the way of most of the fodder creatures using the saws and blades at the end of the spider legs that extended from it and this continued for some time until from over the radio he had received a message from the heroes on top numerous of them spoke of a monster that had came out of nowhere and raised the dead monsters and now that they were under assault by a horde of the creatures which now that they were divided could prove dangerous, especially if that monster could revive them as well, he racked his brain on what he should do and if he should head back up to handle the revived monsters himself or hope that the heroes on the surface could handle it. Thankfully, he didn't have to make that decision as he received a message from Neith. She told him that Genos would help the surface team and that she had sent along another of Metal Knight's prototypes to assist in the fighting.
He hated to admit it, but he was sort of relieved to have them out there at that moment. The introduction of a monster that could revive others was troubling news, but they should still be able to manage it. He asked Neith if they had gotten a description of the creature, and while it wasn't much but an outline, it was at least something. Child Emperor filled in the other S-class heroes of the situation going on up top and told them all to continue with their mission as scheduled. The message from Neith did bring up something he wanted to ensure with the women first. He asked her first and foremost if she was alone out there, and predictably, she answered no. The second question was how many of them were out there, and he was slightly annoyed when she answered that all of them were.
He questioned what happened with Sitch and the mission he had for them to carry out, and he was surprised to hear that they were doing it right that moment, telling him that from their information they had gone in to save civilians, which he found incredibly suspect given that, going off his reading, there were no other human life signs in the monster association unless she was referring to monsters. The association did have a bad habit of collecting them and pawning them off, and with the breakout of their main holding pin, they could be using this as a prime opportunity to capture more by using the non-killing army nature against them.
He informed her of this possibility, and Neith remarked that she knows and understands about such things, but she was still adamant that they were specifically for people, not monsters, which suggested they were of some kind for the monster, but he didn't want to argue with her too much given what he was about to ask of the girl. His request was a simple one; he just wanted her to keep enough fat stores in stock for the possibility that she could create for him another brave giant mech, which she agreed to. He was concerned about the security risk of allowing her so much information, but he wanted to have some fail-safes of his own in case of unknown variables; hopefully, it just didn't come in to bite him.
He had installed some software into her visor that would allow him to see through it and see what she was doing and who was around her, and she said the others of the non-killing army were also present. He was partially surprised by the giant's cages and wasn't too shocked by the monsters that had accompanied them. Some of them seemed at least marginally powerful as well, and seeing a giant, large monster just casually sitting next to them and discussing with them like nothing was wrong was incredibly interesting to see and witness, but he quickly cut the feed off as he wanted to pay attention to what he was doing, not to mention that there was no telling when Neith would begin to use her ability, and given the nature of that ability, he didn't want to feel like he was being pervy by spying on her during the act.
Bang wasn't too surprised, but the old person next to him, whom Neith confirmed to him, was his brother Bomb. Child Emperor seemed to vaguely know the name; it was on the tip of his mind, but it escaped him doing a quick search, and he had come to realize that the man was actually "the" bomb of the whirlwind iron-cutting fist. He didn't know that the two of them were brothers, and now that he thought about it some more, Bomb was also there during their picnic as well, so he guessed he should have been paying better attention.
He mildly chuckled at a joke that popped into his head about a potential third brother and whether he would have been named Boom. Well, Child Emperor could guess that any opposition that the non-killing army faced would be handily taken care of, which in that case would likely be apprehended instead of killed, but any enemy combatants off the field would be welcomed in his mind, and while he didn't want to include Bang in his initial plans, he would gladly take the older person's aid in the operation as it should offset the monster force multiplier of whatever creature was capable of resurrecting the dead. He continued in the association, mostly just walking around aimlessly—well, not aimlessly; he was following a small electronic signal he'd been picking up.
He stopped for a brief moment to look at his read-out again as it screamed a warning at him. Apparently one of his trackers was moving at extreme speed, but it seemed to have settled down, and Flash was once again on the move as he told all of them over the comms that he had eliminated two of the enemy cadres, which came to him as a huge relief and seemed to elevate the spirits of the others by quite a bit. Metal Bat even suggested having a competition on who could kill the most cadres, which had some murmurs of agreement between them, but he and Zombieman wanted to make sure to temper these expectations and that other cadres likely wouldn't be so easy to beat.
The Child Emperor did a check, and the rest of the S-class seemed to proceed along normally enough. He trusted in all of them enough to take care of themselves, and they could always send an SOS emergency if they were really in trouble, so he continued on his path, following the small electrical signal. As he did so, he wasn't going to worry about the others; his main objective was to secure the child so that the rest of them could let loose without restraint. He heard the sounds of fire ring out from behind him as his Octo drone shot at and killed some pig-like monster trying to sneak up behind him.
He continued following the signature until he was met with a large room; it seemed to be a computer room if he had ever seen one. He proceeded inside, and on a large table was a staggering sight; it was the metal knight drone, but completely undone. But what frightened him was the damage the machine sustained. He was told that the monster king Orochi did it, but inflicting that amount of damage in one strike seemed absurd. He hoped that he wouldn't have to fight it; leaving it to Tatsumaki seemed like a good choice after all. Well, since he was there, he decided to get as much information as he could from the machine.
He knew the metal knight likely had numerous scanners and listening systems, detailed floor plans, and monster conversations, but all he needed was the location of the hostage. He looked to the side as his systems fought against Bofoi firewalls and blocks. There had been an arrangement of parts all neatly laid out, which seemed to be from disassembly as they were in mint condition. They did have someone specializing in robotics here, so his information about the possible weaknesses of machines created from the specs of the knight could be put to use.
Metal Knight's information matched the information provided by Drive Knight now that he compared them in his travels so that essentially confirmed that the information provided by him was legit, at least partially, which meant that with two of the cadres down, there were only eight cadres left for them to take care of, but that resurrecting monsters was still a problem. It didn't matter if they finished off the cadre if they could just be brought back again; in that instant, it would only result in them wasting their energy and resources until they were eventually killed. They needed to find that monster and end it quickly; it was way too dangerous to just run rampant.
Now that he knew the direction that he needed to go he doubled-timed it to the objective before slowing down and sneaking up on the holding cells he spotted four monsters inside along with the child, he needed to be discrete so that they couldn't hold the child hostage so he dug into his pack and pulled out his kero kero frog mask and deploying it, the machine immediately went to work hopping forward before into the holding area luckily enough it wasn't intercepted so after he got the confirmation click followed by the monster making some fuss at the kids muffled screaming he quickly made his move as he threw a canister of poison gas into the room while equipping his gas mask he waited three seconds to ensure that the poison had taken full effect before proceeding inside, he stepped over the four monsters bodies and used his battle pack to cut into the hostage's cage.
"Waganma? I'm here to save you. Come, let's get out of here." Child Emperor remarked that he could see that the kid was hunched over in the fetal position facing away from the cage; he didn't even seem to react at all to the things that were happening; his clothes were disheveled and he looked a little malnourished, but that was to be expected. He was going to go and check him over for possible injuries, but movement above him completely took his attention away. He quickly reached into his pack and took out his umbrella shield to protect himself as a slime-like figure slammed down over the top of him.
Sludge Press! The monster sludge jellyfish screamed as it came crashing down on him.
The shield maintained its structure, however, allowing the Child Emperor to emerge unharmed from the strike. The poison gas was still in the room, which meant the monster was impervious to such moves, so he switched up his attacks, pulled out his saber flute, and rose to slash at the creature. The hard light cut through the monster several times, but it didn't seem to have any effect.
"Is that all you got?' The monster taunted, so Child Emperor switched up his tactics, thinking that potentially the monster was like the one the Bang and Atom in A-city, having some sort of device that allowed him to keep his structure, so he swapped his blade out for four drills that sprung out of his battle pack and attacked the monster, each twisting this way, in hopes of finding something or striking a core element of some kind. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to be the case; it looked to be a monster that was just made of sludge and could manipulate itself like he could his own body, but that meant that there was still one option for him.
"Like I said, you can cut and stab all you want, but it's useless. If that's all you can do, then you have no way of killing me. Haha, luck seems to be on my side; I'm taking the head of an S-class hero, and I'm making it look easy." Sludge Jellyfish taunted before stopping as the kid tried again, but this attack was different: it was a tube of some kind.
"What's this?" the monster asked.
"Liquid fuel" Child Emperor replied simply as he lit a match and threw it on the monster and was satisfied as it combusted into flames, but before he could turn around, the flames were suddenly put out by a massive wind pressure that quickly put out the fire and pushed all of the remaining poison gas out of the small room. The child emperor removed his hand from his face as he looked at the new-coming monster. It was leaning against the door as it watched him and the now-burnt slime monster before taking a glance at some of the dead bodies in the room as well.
"It seems like you have been busy, but at last, you won't be rescuing the child," the man remarked, and suddenly a bright light engulfed the room. Child Emperor had to look away for a moment, and by the time he looked back, he was shocked to see the formerly dead monsters rising up and from their deaths, so this was the monster that caused the trouble on the surface.
"You all take the child; I'll handle this hero." The monster stated this as it closed its beak helmet over his face and charged forward at him. The child Emperor could only grab his umbrella shield again before the monster struck him. The force sent him flying backward, crashing through the back wall of the cell and several walls behind it. Dammit, the Child Emperor thought as he now lost track of the hostage. He found himself in the middle of another hallway, and the monster continued after him. He narrowly avoided the second charge from the monster as he hopped backward. The monster emerged from the hole he made, and the two of them faced each other in the large hallway.
"Cadre?" Child Emperor asked as he took out a lollipop and began to bite into it; his sugar levels were getting low, and he didn't want any distractions for this fight to come.
"This is really good that I ran into you first; I can use you to get to the rest of the S-class heroes. In comparison to them, you don't seem like much at all—nothing without your toys. The monster association was supposed to be nothing but a stepping stone for me. I was going to take the crown of the monster king, and when I first evolved into what I am now, I thought it was just my birthright. The world was showing me signs of it, but now I have a different plan, and unfortunately, that still requires you to die. Don't worry, I will revive you as my pawn," Phoenix said, finishing his monologue just as the Child Emperor finished up his lollipop.
"I am Phoenix man! I couldn't remove my costume, and before I realized it, I became a monster! Child emperor of a victim of the times. This is where you die! But fear not, you will be revived to serve me!" the bird monster taunted.
Child emperor deployed three of his watchdog men to attack the monsters they had all combined into underdog Cerberus but he didn't stop with just that, he continued with two autonomous tank drones each they provided the tanks let loose with two barrels of large lime shot as underdog Cerberus charged at it with his Vicious digging doggy spinning punches while the tanks supported of course given that this was a cadre they didn't stand a chance against the monster with a single flap of his wings enshrouded the space but this time the wind was hot he could feel it even from where he was luckily he had managed to put up six transparent layers of film to block the hot wind. He quickly raised his arm into the air and called upon his trump card brave giant while the monster dealt with underdog Cerberus. It had managed to brave through the hot wind to attack the monster directly, but Phoenix Man was able to completely halt the strike, grabbing both of the wrists of the robot before yanking it apart in a spectacular fashion, but that just gave him the opportunity for the five metal compartments to make it to him.
Surface
The surface team was all confused by the sudden, rapid quakes that shook the landscape. Some of the heroes thought that the monster association had another monster on the level of the elder centipede in their midst, but as Sekingar looked over his device and the signals being produced, he knew what it was.
….
"What? He's using it already." Momo suddenly remarked on the tremors.
"Who's using what, Momo?" Jiro asked.
"It's the Child Emperor's brave giant, his best machine," Momo commented
"Well, then shouldn't everything be alright? I mean, I kept seeing that huge thing and would love to see it in action." Mina commented
"But there lies the problem; if he can't beat the monster in 6 minutes, then the machine will cease to function," Neith remarked
"Why does it have a problem like that?" Jiro asked
"Because he still had problems figuring out a way of regulating its power. It will be overloaded at the end of that countdown." Momo stated
Underground
Phoenix Man was surprised by the dust kicked up and was more surprised when a large hand swooped from inside of it and completely smacked him. The force of the blow completely through him through the wall into the next room. It was a simple gathering hall filled with large pillars and not much else but meant for just gathering the weak monsters up from meetings and delegations.
"So you're going to resist me after all? Hmph, well, that's okay, and look at that you had a costume of your own to share; I must say that I'm flattered," Phoenix remarked.
"Hah costume? B.G. is my battle robot, consisting of the best of my scientific knowledge; don't compare it to the likes of you." The child Emperor remarked simply.
"It makes no difference." The Phoenix Man stated
The nerve circuit is connected.
Child Emperor neural interfaced with Brave Giants systems, allowing him perfect harmony between his mech and body; however, it also held a double edge effect, meaning any damage done to the mech would also be felt by his body in turn. The brave giant robot was meant to face Orochi, but now that he's shown it off to the monster, not to mention the monster's battle-shifting capabilities, he needs to kill it here and now. The hostage rescue could come later; if he went back, he would just be followed and put the child in more danger. He could come back at a later time.
Child Emperor charged forth with the brave giant, and the monster immediately began to fly away from the large machine. He lashed out with a kick that barely missed the monster crashing into a pillar instead; this was followed up by a right straight punch that also missed as the monster continued to weave in between the several columns in the room. In that case, Child Emperor tried a different tactic going into his ranged weaponry: several missile silos opened up on both of his shoulders, and several missiles were launched directly at the monster.
"Seekers huh! This is practically child's play to me now!" The phoenix man remarked before he unleashed his phoenix flares that the large burning feathers diverted all of the missiles into striking them and exploding off target. Child Emperor continued his assault this time around, activating several boosters on the back of the brave giant, dramatically increasing the speed that he used to fly after the monster while launching another barrage of missiles.
The monster countered again with flares, but the Child Emperor was shocked when the entire room seemed to heat up and the monster's personal heat signature seemed to be dispersed. He couldn't get a lock on anymore, which meant he had to go back to his hand-to-hand combat, where he held the edge. Delta Scale Saber, the large, hard-light blade, extended out of his right forearm in a triangle pattern. He sliced away at the creature, but it danced on the edge of his tips each time. It was just too nimble in comparison to his mech.
"Hmmm, I don't understand how these contraptions in your costume work, but it seems like it has some speed. Too bad your movements are all over the place and not at all synchronized!" The monster taunted while dodging away again and again three more times, Child Emperor. Having had enough of the monster gloating, he sent out his mini-braves. They were even faster than his brave giant, although they didn't pack as much of a punch. He granted them blasters to make up for it. The mini-braves first initiated with a smoke screen, attempting to block the vision of the monster while they surrounded him and shot downwards at the creature who allowed them to do so.
"Well, well, look at all the smoke." The Phoenix man remarked casually as he quickly flew up, avoided the five blast attacks that the smaller machines did, and got into the center of their formation.
"You think that you can surround me with this? My five eyes will not miss a single opening," the phoenix man remarked as he curled in on himself before throwing them outwards in his soaring wall attack that struck four of them and sent the fifth one away with pure wind pressure alone. The child Emperor attempted to use the distraction to strike, but he again missed the mark. Just barely, he did escape along the monster's wing, slicing a bit off, which got the monster furious as he was shown with a large, bright light as his form swapped.
"I'll show the power between the bird brain and yours truly! Our bodies and spirits are one, weaving the ultimate ensemble." The monster screamed as his costume suddenly changed into something more natural, like phoenix fire falcon mode. The change into a more natural costume wasn't the only change Child Emperor noticed, however, the monster was now much faster than before, he slashed out with his sword but where before he would narrowly miss now it seemed like he was targeting pure air, he felt pain rupture against his left shoulder for a moment as three claw marks painted its landscape a glance at his timer told him that two minutes and 30 seconds already past meaning he only has 3 minutes and 30 seconds left minutes left and at this rate, he didn't know if he could beat the creature within that time frame but he would try as he braced himself as the creature continued to attack him phoenix heat up talon strike the monster sped around his mech striking over and over again this time creating an even deeper gash into his shoulder than previously.
"What's the matter? You'll never become a first-rate costume actor like that!" the phoenix taunted again.
"Shut up! Go little braves!" Child Emperor shouted as he raised his arm and shot out four more little brave mechs. The other five had finally received enough, and they were circling the target, waiting for the right moment to strike. Instead of chasing after the fast monster, which would have been hopeless, each of the little braves fired their weapons, but not at the monster but at each other. The attacks deflected off of their shields, creating a Micronet that surrounded the monster, which figured it out to be a late omnidirectional range attack. The strike was going to land dead center, but the monster went through another change, this time becoming a being of pure fiery energy, phoenix prominence hawk mode. The beams of energy still landed, but nothing came of it.
"Phew, this energy, it's nice." The monster commented, and the Child Emperor was completely shocked. Could the monster absorb energy?
"Right back at you!" phoenix remarked as he flared his power again the robots attempted to defend themselves against the attack but the power forced all of them to crash into the walls and out of the fight but they had built-in self-repairs protocols which went immediately into effect and they would come back within two minutes, he would barely have time at that point but Child Emperor would take what he could get as he attempted to get the drop on the monsters he had to finish this quick he only had 2 minutes and 25 seconds left now as he dropped down on the monster from above with his super vibrating knife he was confident in overpowering the monster with his machines strength but on top of energy absorption this new mode seemed to be stronger than his previous ones as he was barely able to completely stop his knife strike with some difficulty.
"You're trying to end this fight quickly, huh? What are your concerns about the brat? No, you have a time limit, don't you? If you had something like this in your arsenal, it would have been more efficient once you found the kid to summon the machine and use it to break out through the walls... hehe..in that case!." the monster remarked as he snapped the blade, which transformed back into his phoenix fire falcon mode and flew further away.
"Phoenix-homing feather attack!" The monster screamed as a barrage of flaming feathers was launched his way. Child Emperor quickly dropped his sword and used his divider shield in both hands to block attacks while returning some of his own with his forehead-mounted autocannon, but all of his attacks were missed. In comparison, the monsters were whittling away at his defense. The monster quickly dashed towards him before switching into his Phoenix Prominent Hawk mode. Using his acceleration in combination with his increased power, he knocked him backward with a punch. His mech crashed through several stone pillars before crashing through the wall as the monster continued to taunt him.
"You won't have a chance to deactivate your robot; I'll make sure to waste every bit of the Trump card you're so proud of right here. I'm going to toy with you until you're out of ammo and leave you completely defenseless behind enemy lines! Haha! " The monster taunted again, changing barely into his base state and floating in mid-air.
He lifted his head and struggled to lift himself back up to his feet. He only had one minute and 45 seconds left. He was running out of options now that the monster knew his time limit. He couldn't think of a way out of the situation, but a sudden sound to his left got his attention.
"Yo, man, that's so cool!" Kaminari exclaimed as he looked at the machine.
"Oh? Are those friends of your child, Emperor? Don't let them die now! Phoenix, homing feather attack!" The monster shouted again as he swapped to his falcon form and let loose another couple of feathers directly at the two new arrivals. Child Emperor reacted instantly, covering them with brave giants and using his divider shields to block the impacts while returning more fire with his autocannon and missiles they still couldn't lock on, but he was hoping to overcome its speed with saturation fire instead.
"What are you doing here!?" Child Emperor demanded he already had enough on his plate dealing with the monster, and now he was having to protect someone else.
"We are here to assist you." He saw another man speak; he didn't recognize the individual; he wasn't a part of the non-killing army from what he could remember. If she were going to send help, he would have liked for her to send at least one of the S-class ones.
"Yeah, man, Momo told us about your machine problem, and we're here to help out with it. Leave the regulation to us." the blonde teen remarks, and at that, he could now see her logic in sending these reinforcements in particular for his situation; his read-out read one minute left, so he would take the assistance.
"Alright! Hold on, buckle up, you two!" Child Emperor remarked as he picked the two individuals up and placed them in the backpack on his large machine back. He carefully viewed the timer on his machines and was happy to see the time start to climb upwards to the maximum of 6 minutes again. He remained that way for the entire time.
"That's more like, alright, let's go!" Child Emperor remarked before standing up, getting rid of one of his divider shields, summoning his delta scale saber again, and charging forward. He put extra power in his engines to make him even faster than before. He saw the timer dip by two entire minutes, but it rose just as quickly. The two in the back told him to warn them next time he tried something like that so they could regulate the output better, and he would keep that in mind.
Brave Giant's new speed caught the monster off guard as he barely caught him with a hard overhead punch straight on the creature's body. Unfortunately, before he could splatter the creature upon the floor, it had swapped back into the physically more imposing flame form of his. It managed to stop his fist and raise it off him while launching a kick at him. The attack set his robot out of balance, but Child Emperor quickly stabilized and launched a kick of his own. The snap leg connected as his mech fell back. Both the monster and mech crashed into the pillar behind them and stood up, ready to face each other once again.
"You seem to be more composed than before; what? Did those two give you a spare battery or something like that?" The Phoenix man asked as he brushed off the dust from the attack.
"Something like that... So if you were hoping to wait me out, then that opportunity has passed." The child emperor responded with a cheeky smile.
"Hah, don't get cocky; I simply wanted to play with you to pass the time while the other cadre dealt with your companions so that I could revive them under my control, but I guess I'll just start with you. Here I come!" The Phoenix man remarked that he had switched again into Phoenix Fire Falcon mode. He proceeded to circle his machine at incredibly fast speeds, creating a small whirlwind around the mech that was clocking the wind speed at one million kilometers per hour, but Child Emperor was confident that he knew how to stop it. While Fast was much weaker than the previous one, he fought through the wind and, out of his robot's hands, freed and electrified a 200,000-fold rope skip grinder.
The rapid spread of the rope went backward and forwards and offered up as a direct counter to the monster's increased speed; it completely blew it back into the upper power of a column, cracking its surface slightly as he impacted. The child emperor used his rear thruster to raise the 10-meter machine high into the air, and the rope compensated, now encompassing the entirety of the machine instead of just above him.
He flew directly at the monster hopping to shave him down like a pencil sharpener would a pencil but the monster started to run away but he chased it even as it left the room and continued to fly about he stayed on it the entire time as soon as he crashed through the another wall into another large alleyway, he was circling around a lot through the various rooms which allowed for the mini braves to form a couple a trap for the monster an electromagnetic irrating shield that was 100 times stronger than his weaker one completely stuck the monster in place, Child Emperor quickly attempted shave the monster down with his ropes but it though quickly swapping into his phoenix fire flame mode and absorbed the energy of the shield freeing himself before swapping to his falcon mode to quickly doge out of the way but his wing was partially clipped from the attack and he heard it cry out in pain which it returned in kind as he laucnehd the energy it just absorbed back at him, the attack pheonix flare two large blast of energy targeted his two hands which completely took him off guard, the monster used the opportunity as his rope faltered to charge forwrards but the Child Emperor expected that as another electromagnetic irrating shield sprung up in between the two of them, he was trapped again and Child Emperor struck out lighting quick.
he began reeling back a fist, Electricity coursed through it and the attack would pull the electromagnetic shield towards it to increase the damage but that was only to reduce the distance between the punch and the monster as it swapped and absorbed the shield again but was forced to bock the punch, it surprisingly still managed to stop it only creating into the ground as a result as wind and electricity coursed around them, he was shocked if this was the strength of a single cadre and the monster king could suppress 10 of them, he couldn't imagine how strong such a being could be, all of them would likely have to fight him at the same time to even stand a chance well maybe king and tatsumaki could potentially do something on their own.
Pain exploded through his hand when suddenly it started to heat up.
"Full power, 100,000 C prominence! If you don't remove it, your proud fist will evaporate!" The phoenix man taunted, and the Child Emperor gritted his teeth as he kept his hand on the target. A screen popped out, telling him that the cooling mechanisms had been damaged, so now he was definitely on borrowed time. He did a quick scan of the base again and spotted a water source 500 meters below, and that was his ticket.
"Get ready, guys! Over booster release output limiter!" His thrusters flared with power as he began to bury the creature into the earth, drilling it down through all of the floors. He could see his time limit spiraling up and down rampantly as the two behind him attempted to regulate the output, but they held it together. For now, they continued to fall into a large cavern. There had been signs of conflict happening, but he locked his attention on the monster he was facing. His lifeless body fell to the ground and was on the verge of celebrating, but a bright light Flashed through his screen, and up the monster was again, this time a penguin-type monster, which slipped out of his fist and, despite being supposed to be a flightless bird, flew into the sky. Unlike his previous forms, his attacks were ice-based, as the penguin monster rose both of his hands into the sky and formed a large ice ball—Phoenix man Antarctica iceberg attack.
He used his monster attack against him as he used his beam chisel to pierce through the monster's attack when it lost visual contact with his machine given how big the ice block was, the attack landed center mass and stabbed the monster through completely he didn't end it at that as he swung his mech back around and launched the head of the chisel away while the remaining barrage of missiles in after the creature they all connected and exploded, he landed in the water sometime later he couldn't believe that such a monster could exist it seemed to be able to even revive from death..truly freighting hopefully it could only do it once he thought as he landed down into the water but it, unfortunate, he was wrong as his mech was thrown off balance by an explosion of energy and bright light.
"I have to thank you, Child Emperor; you're a child but still an S-class hero. No ordinary opponent could push my evolution to such an extent. Even after the show was cut and taken off the air, I couldn't take off the bird-brain costume. Day after day, my humanity faded away as the costume began to take over with a mind of its own." The phoenix monster monologue, Child Emperor, allowed it as well, as he wanted to give his power sources a break from the likely strenuous task as his readout red 10 again.
He dashed forward with another beam chisel. He needed to defeat this monster now, or else it could continue to power up and be a problem for them later on. He thrust his sword forward with full force into the smoke and was shocked to see that his attacks were stopped casually with an outstretched hand; his power was on a completely different level than before, and the form was also different; it was more streamlined and slim with a golden outline.
There was a dark scarlet eye on his shoulder and three smaller eyes that went down the left side of his stomach. He called it his Phoenix Diamond Eagle mode. He was shocked when, at that very moment, his other arm was completely detached from his machine. Pain coursed through him so badly that he cried out again until his computer suppressed the feeling and sealed the leak the missing limb created.
"It's over now; this form is all the others combined into one, a perfect fit for the one that will rule above all. You only became a hero so you could be showered in praise, no? Just give it up already; it's not meant for you." Phoenix man stated with a chuckle
"Could you stop comparing yourself to me? I never became a hero to show off. I'm a lot more resilient than some damn bird!" The child Emperor remarked, standing up using his chisel.
"Hmph, and here I thought you were the type to give up when you have zero chances of victory. So young and naive." The Phoenix man remarked
"Do you think I would stay around if the chance of victory was zero? I don't doubt my odds so much yet." Child Emperor bit back, earning an angered sneer from the monster, but as it looked around, that turned into a smile as he shined his bright light. Child Emperor was immediately taken off guard as his machine was rocked along both sides as a super-fast target struck him over and over again.
"What do you think of your chances now? Two additional people joined the fight on my side; it was hardly unfair since you also had help." The Phoenix man taunted. The Child Emperor was indeed surprised by the news, but he still felt there was a chance of victory; he just needed to build towards it. there were two small individuals initially he thought they were Flash but no they were monsters instead and strong ones too as he attempted to fight them off he continued to miss they were simply too fast for him to track so instead he targeted the source for their resurrection hopefully they were only alive do to its power brave blade shot he shot his blade forth at the creature but the attack was easily caught by the glowing monster but that was just a distraction for his second attack from his detached arms underground cruising mode the arm transformed into a massive drill and rocketed forwards into the monster back it didn't pierce it's skin but drove him high into the sky out of the water, Child Emperor didn't let this opportunity slip as he continued.
"You guys don't worry about managing; just worry about pumping as much power into the attack after this one as possible! Maximum output! Disintegrate everything outside the machine!" Child Emperor stated as he used his gigavolt smash. There were several error readouts all over his machine, but he ignored them and told the two in the backpack to get ready and put everything they had into this attack. Phoenix Man had just managed to turn around and slash the drill holding him into the wall, just in time to see those smaller machines rush past him straight towards the large one. It had formed into a massive hand that the machine used to replace the one it lost.
"Now!" The Child Emperor announced
"Right!" Volten and Kaminari answered
10 billion volts! Millennium Emperor Nova!
A massive emergence of energy shot forth from the robot. His system was going crazy, expelling such power that exceeded the structural integrity, but Child Emperor believed in his machine that he could. The monster didn't attempt to dodge instead, and the Child Emperor welcomed it. He hoped that he could overload the monsters with this amount of power. The blast rocket rocketed sky high and eventually surpassed where the monster was telling him that it worked out. He was confident that if the monster was completely evaporated, he wouldn't, or more likely shouldn't, be able to revive itself.
The blast continued rising from the hole he made, even resting on a new one at the same time as it cruised out into the land and up higher into the very sky and clouds. Several members of the surface team panicked and questioned what had been happening, Poison looked at the large beam and down at his large knife and even suggested that he may just need to head home, but his father Toxin merely laughed at the spectacle of destruction and thought how he was glad that they didn't have to go down there.
All of the water was completely gone from the area, brave giant was at the damage was at 98% all systems had stopped functioning but it seemed that everything was over, or was it as he quickly looked up as the phoenix's voice rung down from above, the shining glow was there but his attack had effected the monster upper arm and back to two wings were completely gone along with that there was a massive scar across the creature's body horrifically disfiguring almost everything removing the shiny surface to reveal the true dark monster that lies beneath it all.
"It seems my coordination has the blessings of the heavens. Your final toy seemed to be broken, but for a kid, you did pretty well. I'm feeling a little off after taking in all that energy and looking at what you did to my lovely costume. This is why I hate kids!" The monster again began to taunt me before turning serious.
"I guess since that worked, admitting defeat is my only play." The child Emperor remarked simply as he activated his emergency SOS.
"I was going to revive you after killing you, but after you did this to me, you're going to die a painful death. I'll turn you into mincemeat." A Phoenix man stated
" Bluh, I'll just hide in here until help arrives; so far, your attacks have done nothing to my cockpit. I have the utmost confidence in my defenses." The child emperor replied with a smug expression.
"Have you ever heard of a woodpecker? I'll drill a hole about the size of my hand, and then I'll tear out all its guts!" The Phoenix man remarked as he slammed his face mask down and charged forward. Child Emperor was waiting on that as he pulled a leaver in his cockpit. Any mini braves sprung forth and kicked brave giant into the charge as the chest compartment opened up; they detached the backpack as well as it went; the chest clapped down over half the monster as Child Emperor snuck his way around the charging monster; it didn't hold the monster for long as its claws ripped through it like tissue paper; even Child Emperor's umbrella shield had it's hard to light destroyed from the monster's claws ripping it free, along with the rest of the mini braves.
"The great prodigy, Child Emperor, is this the best you could come up with in the face of despair? Did you think locking me into the machine would work? Even if it did, you would have no option but to attack me. Now, then, it is time for your judgment. Phoenix Man started before he suddenly got caught in a hilarious fit of laughter. It was uncontrollable, and he felt something inside of his suit.
"Wha, what did you do?" He got out as he continued to laugh.
"Tickle tickle bug number 1, I snuck it through the gaps of your costume... If you want to stop laughing, then just take the costume off. The child emperor remarked
"I… I can't… You idiot," the monster replied amid laughter.
"Oh well then enjoy dying of asphyxiation." Child Emperor remarked with a cold tone as he continued to watch the monster laugh and laugh, but the monster surprised him one last time when he noticed it starting to break apart, and a small explosion later revealed the new monster was a small chicken-like monster instead. The danger wasn't gone, however. "Where are we? Weren't we supposed to be fighting Flash? Now we're here." Gale Wind spoke.
"So he ran away... where is? Oh?" hellfire flame remarked before laying his eyes on the child hero.
"Is that the S-class hero, Child Emperor? He looks worn out." Gale Wind spoke.
"Perfect! We'll use him to lure Flash back out!" Hellfire Flame remarked
As the both of them sped their way, Child Emperor could brace himself, but after several seconds, nothing happened. He did a hesitant check to see what happened and was shocked when both ninjas in front of him paused, but they weren't looking at him but someone above him and behind him.
"Yo-.." Hellfire remarked
"Fla-sh," Gale Wind remarked.
As the two ninjas were cut in half right in front of him, the Child Emperor quickly turned around and was happy to see that Flash was there.
"I received your SOS. It seems the monster capable of reviving has been here recently."
"Yeah…. I just beat him, so we don't have to worry about him anymore." Child Emperor stated, and Flash took a moment to look around the landscape and the large hole in the ceiling.
"Efficient work, Child Emperor," Flash remarked simply, and Child Emperor was happy to gain the praise of someone as skilled as Flash. There was movement from the side as the mini braves opened up the damaged backpack, and the large thing fell out lighting Raijin, but the not-so-surprising thing was that what came out after him was an electric monster of some kind. Child Emperor held up a hand, signaling for the assassin to not immediately kill it, and surprisingly, he listened and sheathed his sword.
"Flash, I need you to check this location for the hostage. I was rescuing him, but the monster distracted me." Child Emperor remarked, and all he saw was a quick nod, and almost an imperceptible moment later Flash was gone and back again.
"He wasn't there," Flash remarked simply.
"Dammit, well, you can continue with the search. I'll be fine here." Child Emperor and Flash took one last look at the monster but shrugged his shoulders and left back towards his objective.
Once the two of them got their bearings, Kaminari instinctively looked at the Child Emperor.
"Man, Iida wasn't kidding; that guy is really fast. Ugh, so did we win?" he questioned
"Yes, we won. You might want to explain your friend there." The child emperor asked, pointing to the monster, which surprisingly transformed back into his human form.
"Oh, sure, this is Volten. Things happened, and he became a monster, but he's a good one, I swear." Kaminari commented.
"As unfortunate as it is, in my moment of weakness, I partook in a monster cell to save myself," Volten remarked with a bow of shame.
"It's...alright... That just meant we weren't doing our jobs as heroes, right? And if anything, I owe it to both of you. Thanks for the assist." Child Emperor started holding out a hand for the man to shake, which, after a brief surprise, he did.
"So what are we going to do with this little guy?" Kaminari asked as he held up the small chicken monster.
"We should just finish him off." Child Emperor suggested as his boots grew large, spiky attachments, but Kaminari quickly moved away from him along with the chick.
"Come on, man, you can't do that. The guy is defenseless like this." Kaminari said
"For now, he could gain back his power and become a problem again in the future. You know, in essence, for helping out, I'll allow you all to take him, but I'm going to get to the bottom of what is happening with you all, believe me." The child Emperor said he had other matters to do than argue with them, which was exactly what he wanted to avoid. Such matters also included talking to Neith and using the combat data collected from his current battle to improve the brave giant she creates.
Zombieman came over the radio; he had just gotten done beating a couple of robots from the Monster Association and was thanking him for the advice on possible weak points. He even said that he was glad that he was there, fighting alongside them. The praise from another person also made him happy and completely forget his misgivings about them taking the chick, but they all also needed to get back to the surface now, which could be a problem given how far they fell, but that also solved itself with the non-killing armies help as Tsukuyomi had arrived on bright golden wings. They discussed for a brief moment before agreeing that Tokoyami would take the chick and Child Emperor out of there and they would get back on their own; they had a lot of electricity to burn off after all.
Group four: Blue Fire, Gearsper, Double Hole, Smell Master, Gabriel(shining Prodigy), Trap Tengu, Raiku(shining Prodigy), Aikon(shining Prodigy), Crescent Eyebroll, Doll Master
The monster continued to come into force long after the S-class had started their infiltration into the base proper. Monsters lacking the traditional tunnel systems had started to begin to dig their own and rose from the ground to attack. This was a blessing and a curse for their attempts, however, as while they could attack them anywhere at any given time, the crunching and rapid pulp of the concrete completely gave them away, allowing them to be killed rather easily as they struggled to break through. Their tactics were improving; however, originally, they attempted to storm their position with numbers. Child Emperor's octo drones had proven incredibly efficient in repelling their assaults, at least for the most part, resulting in some of them falling back.
The next assault was a targeted assault against the turrets themselves. Several of the positions were blown up by large explosions from the ground, shaking the landscape and causing some of the ruined buildings to lose even more structure, break apart, and rain down upon the heroes. The rain of debris scattered them, allowing the monster to rise from the group unimpeded and engage the scattered heroes.
Despite the scatteredness of the heroes present they still put up a more than good enough fight against the monster blue Flame created several even before they could even finish rising out of the ground before, crescent eyebroll worked alongside doll master to continue to slash away at the monster numbers with their weapons, double hole, and smell master combined to blow a harmful toxic gas down an alleyway of monster that had nearly severely crumpled them allowing the two shining prodigies now equipped with a gas mask to engaged the handicapped monster and crushed their heads with hard kicks to the ground or crushing them with their grip, trap tengu, and gearspur were trapped by themselves with monster closing in.
the master trappers traps had all been nearly exhausted in the battles and they wouldn't be able to hold off the horde of 20 monsters for a long but digging deep gearspur channeled his power to pick up a piece of the building that had been separating them from the others and allowed them to escape while also killing the monster pursuing them as he let it fall back down to the ground as they attempted to past under, tengu thanked him for his support and helped the small boy to his feet as the strain from the feet seemed to have tired him out.
Gabriel had been assigned to protecting Sekingar, and while he was successful for the most part, he had been injured during the scrambled incident. A chunk of his side was bitten off as a monster had gotten too close without him knowing, but he assured the group as they got back together that he could still carry out his mission, and the bite only proved that he didn't refine his muscles enough.
The group was just done fighting when the Child Emperor flew down into their mist, announcing his arrival. Sekingar assailed the boy with several questions regarding what was happening and if he had managed to locate the hostage. Unfortunately, Child Emperor told him of the news that the child had been moved from his initial positions while he began to rearm himself before planning to head down to continue to search for the child. Before he did, he wanted to fill everyone in on the situation, including the other S-class heroes.
"Everyone, this is a status update regarding the current situation. I successfully made it back to the surface; however, I failed to rescue the child, and his position was moved somewhere else in the base. I can confirm the data we received from Drive Knight was correct but may be outdated. The monster that could revive others was also a cadre, adding to the list of 10, but it has been taken care of. Keep a lookout for the target while you are fighting….I'm sorry for failing you guys. The child Emperor got more and more solemn as he spoke.
"It's alright, Child Emperor; you got rid of a pretty annoying cadre for us. Now we don't have to worry about watching our backs." Zombieman remarked supportively.
"While you failed the primary objective, which is of no surprise, you at least accomplished something notable. I will continue the search for the child; these monsters are no big deal. I will continue to administer justice." The sweet mask is stated simply.
"Woah, you guys seemed to be getting all the action; I still haven't run into any notable monsters yet! I'll keep a lookout for the kid." Metal Bat replied
"Well, if that data is correct, I think I've run into one of those cadres myself—a little black thing... Someone should get ready to increase my count by one." Atomic remarked over the radio.
"Remember to be careful; atomic samurai can be stronger than you think; I barely won myself. Oh, and that reminds me that Bang and his brother Bomb with green savior deku are also somewhere in there, so be careful with wide-range destruction." Child Emperor stated, and he gained a few affirmations in response before he stopped and looked over to Tsukuyomi. He was currently talking to or, more specifically, being interrogated by Sekingar about his whereabouts and why he was there, along with many of the other topics that the Child Emperor expected of the person who had been part of the mission.
It was clear that Tsukuyomi couldn't answer many of the man's questions other than that he was in the area and decided to help out. Child Emperor now interfered with any more intrusive questions before taking Sekingar to the side. He remarked that he would get to the bottom of what they were doing before telling Tokoyami that he was ready to go, and with that, the two of them flew over to where their staging ground was on the trail tracks.
He knew there would be monsters present; he fully expected it, but he wasn't expecting the massive cages that they had with them. Some of them were already filled with monsters, but he still had room to spare, he ignored that for now as he weaved his way through and approached Neith.
"This is a pretty large operation you have going on here, and is that the Fubuki group? You do know Tatsumaki would have your head for this if she found out, right?" The child emperor asked.
"Yes, but the girl was adamant about coming anyway, so we wanted to ensure that she was at least safe in her adventures. I assume you saw the video of the hostages that we rescued." Momo asked, and the Child Emperor nodded.
"I need you to make me another brave giant mech, please." The Child Emperor added on for a moment, not wanting to sound too demanding of his request.
"That can be done." Momo remarked, and the Child Emperor took the girl around the landscape so that he could plant where he wanted the plants to be, continuing to discuss their operation for the moment.
"So, given the size of the operation, I assume you all aren't operating independently on top of Metal Knight; who else knows that you're here, Sitch?" The child emperor offered a guess.
"Yes, he is, along with a few other executives," Momo replied.
"What are their goals in helping you all? Other than monsters for their scummy practices." Child Emperors asked.
"They grew curious about this monster king and wanted to see if they could create one for themselves, a controllable one. I don't know what they plan to do with such an entity, but I assume they want to control other monsters." Momo remarked
"And you all are okay with that?" The child emperor was questioned.
"It's the only way to give them a chance of survival. You made it abundantly clear that this is an extermination mission; no monster will be left alive, and if I know you all, even if they surrender, you will kill them anyway. We don't think all of the monsters in the association were evil, but joined them for protection and to find unity in each other." Momo explained, So much for that letter to the world, Child Emperor, I thought sarcastically.
"Well, who is going to be this new monster king?" Child Emperor asked
"We don't know; the strongest friendly monster we have is Saren; he was originally Haragiri of the Sword Saints, but a lot of things happened, so he's here, and he's a dragon-level threat, so he would be the most fitting," Momo replied, and the Child Emperor instantly thought back to the meeting in the morning. Atomic was talking about that, huh?
"Wait, are you saying atomic samurai knew about this? How many others know?" Child Emperor asked
"In your group of heroes, only Atomic samurai and Zombieman knew of our plans coming here; tank top master and metal bat knew we would be around and have contacts with us, but they don't know much beyond us just being here.'' Momo remarked.
"And you didn't tell me because?" Child Emperor asked.
"In comparison to them, you are more adamant in your monsterphobia, and along with my connections to Metal Knight, it seemed to be beneficial to exclude you from the discussions." Momo explained, and the Child Emperor begrudgingly accepted the explanation as the two of them finished placing his brave giant machines and headed back into their zone.
"How much in stock do you have?" Child Emperor asked.
"In combination with your brave giant, I've used about 90 tons of material; I have about 310 tons left to spare." Momo remarked simply that the Child Emperor was stunned.
"Didn't you say your limit was 200 tons?" Child Emperor asked.
"Yes, it was, but another scientist had given me a device that allows me to essentially double my abilities as long as I have a day to store them up in the machine." Momo remarked, pointing to the machine on her back.
"Why didn't you use it for the brave giant pieces? And more importantly, with that much, why aren't you flooding the association with machines?" Child Emperor asked.
"I only use it to create something that extends past my body proportions; in its drill state, it does not do so. As for your second question, Metal Knight machines are still his own; he controls them and gives me strict parameters on when to deploy them on the field. I cannot use them without his permission; I have other machines, but they won't be of much use in any major capacity." Momo explained.
"I see. The last thing you didn't share with Metal Knight or Drive Knight were any of my brave giant plans, right?" The child Emperor remarked somewhat bitterly before swapping up and getting incredibly serious.
"Of course not..drive knight has no use for such things, and as for metal knight, he's, um, he doesn't think of your designs too favorably," Momo tried to put it nicely, and Child Emperor scoffed at that before grumbling to himself about something. Child emperor was going to head back into the monster association this time using the tunnel that they made in the base but they wanted to ensure the boy remained safe and offered for either Todoroki or Tokoyami to join him but he declined stating that he didn't want to but heads on how they engage the enemy and it would be better if they remained separated and left on his own as the class wished him luck in his endeavors.
Momo was adamant about the child not going by himself and created another machine for him, it was her super bot 5 which was a refurbished G5 unit, she assigned him to be its commander, and with that, it would follow his instructions to the letter even if that meant killing monsters, Child Emperor accepted the help, and off he went back to locate the child.
Zombieman
Zombieman was making his way through the monster association, killing and butchering every monster that he could come across, or more like killing all the monsters that continued to recklessly charge at him. These monsters, however, were just like the ones on top, weaklings; they never stood a chance against him and his axe as he made his way through them. He didn't have much direction he was going; he trusted the teen's information more than Child Emperor and believed that they would be able to save the kid pretty easily, so he simply focused on killing monsters the best way he knew how fun it was for the first 10 to 30 minutes. With all the blood, it did start to get a bit draining on him.
He began to search individual rooms and closed doors finding monsters actually begging to hide away inside of them of course upon seeing him they would immediately attack which lead to their demise but if he thought about it even if they didn't attack him he didn't really know if he would let them live or not some small part of him felt somewhat bad as he kicked in the door and the reaction of the monster mostly ranged from scared, surprised, or anger each time but follow up was predictable each time however they would attack them he would kill them rinse and repeat he felt like the grim reaper "knocking" on the door before killing them, their was few very few moments where monsters were to scare to even face him and turned away normally he would kill them anyway and get it over with but currently given the non-killing armies plan he gave them an option he pulled up his holo-map from the device they gave him and told the monsters to get to that location and leaving it at that, it was up to the monsters if they would believe him if that was a safe location to go but some would definitely still check it out regardless at that point it woudl be up to the to convince them they could be safe with them or not.
As he continued through, however, something seemed suspect. He felt like he killed over 60 monsters; he wasn't keeping count, but it was seriously ridiculous. Did the Child Emperor know this route would be jam-packed with monsters to overburden him on purpose? He told them that they separated to split the monster forces, but this was simply getting out of hand. He thought as he threw a bandolier of tnt at a group of monsters at a crossroads and then fired a shot and blew the thing up in midair, he had to thank ground zero for the resources; he couldn't afford to waste all of his bullets too soon.
He wondered if he could go and ask Neith for some spare ammo once he got back to the surface; his momentary lapse in judgment allowed a monster to surprise him as it exploded out of the wall. Multiple tentacles skewered him along the arms, legs, and body, but it was nothing he couldn't handle as he simply switched his gun around and shot the creature in the head a couple of times for good measure before pulling the rest of it out of the wall and ripping the tentacles out of himself before continuing forward.
He heard the rapid shuffle of feet coming, and he quickly turned to face the threat. It was another horde of monsters that believed that they would be the lucky ones to put him down, but he would take on the challenge as he tore through them again with his axe, no problem. As he entered the next elaborate room, he was surprised to find another large group of monsters; however, none of these seemed like they were going to go and attack him.
A large yeti monster with some sort of T-city mask asked him to follow him and that maybe, with his strong vitality, he may be able to kill "it." He didn't know what "it" was, but he guessed he had nothing to lose. Besides, if something could inspire this kind of reaction from a monster, then it must be some hell of a demon on the other side of the door as he opened it up.
"It's been a long wait, hero," something said as Zombieman followed the sound up until it looked like a bat. The monster unfurled his large cape before landing on the floor. The lights in the room suddenly came on, allowing him to see the cellar-like room. The monster locked the door behind him before continuing to talk about how they wanted the two of them to fight each other to death.
Zomebieman questioned what the vampire did to piss them off so much, but judging from its arrogant, holier-than-thou reply, he could already tell why it was happening, and some of the color commentaries even suggested that he ate other monsters to boot.
The monster wanted to know his name, and Zombieman would be glad to tell him after his face was full of holes as he shot his dual pistols in the direction of the supposed vampire, but they were surprised when they missed. He felt a chunk get bitten out of his neck before he was hastily thrown away. The vampire bemoaned about how disgusting his blood was, but Zombieman didn't care about any of that.
As he rose to his feet, the vampire believed that he was supposedly on his last legs. I guess he didn't know who he was. That wasn't something he would even call a flesh wound as he rose back from his feet, but something it said did get on his nerves when it called him a "phony human." He had thought he was past it, but maybe helping Tsukuyomi and finding his creator, Dr. Genus Drug would bring those starter years back up.
He quickly switched to his demon-piercing bullets, and even though he was surprised when the vampire was able to intercept them and return them to him, he guessed this thing wasn't just your average everyday monster after all, not even an average demon. I guess he would have to try a different tactic. He pulled out his blades and charged forth at the monster.
He wasn't as proficient with them as he was with his axe, but they offered greater speed and maneuverability, which he needed against such a fast opponent. He squinted at the creature, but it seemed to dance along the edge of his blade strike each time while taunting the other monsters. The vampire seemed to have its blade as well as extended out of his forearm, blending into his cloak.
Zobieman stopped the attack cold with both of his blades and attempted to slide it down the length of the vampire to strike at its neck, but again, a miss. He suddenly turned his head to follow where the vampire was going, but a kick to the face quickly swiveled it back the other way, but it made a crucial mistake now that it was in mid-air. It couldn't dodge his next shot as he dropped his weapons, equipped his pistol from within his sleeve, and fired off a shot, striking true as he heard the vampire grunt from the pain.
He quickly turned his head back on straight as he witnessed the vampire tear apart another monster over top of its body and drench it in blood. The blood sucked into its very being, and his wound started to heal itself. It taunted again about how superior he was to him and how even he could regenerate before attacking him again, this time forming into a mist of bats and swarming towards him. He felt each bat rip gouges out of his body in the past, but that was merely cosmetic damage at best. The vampire continued through not only him but other monsters as well, sucking to dry before being ready to fight him.
Zombieman would tell the monster to just leave if that was how his regeneration worked, but he didn't want to have to work all the harder to chase him down. He sighed to himself. It would be a drag, but that meant that he would have to kill him so quickly that he wouldn't have the time to suck up the other monster's blood.
"Yo vampire, get ready for a battle of attrition."
30 minutes later
The battle was finally done, Zombieman had managed to get use all the rest of his bandoliers of tnt to blow the vampire up, it took about five of them placed along its body, the problem with shapeshifting into a form of swarming bats and attacking him was that he was especially vulnerable in that form and implanting tnt into the monster he was going to eat proved to be his for the knockout blow as his entire body was reduced to pieces although to be fair to the "true" monster he was the strongest monster he fought in quite some time and he had managed to "kill" him 200 hundred times before he was able to trick him but he guessed that was just the difference between his regeneration and its, he needed other people around while he only needed himself but still it was a taxiing journey but it wasn't over yet as he made his way to the door, and crushed the metal rebar that was in the lock to fully ensure the 30 or so monster inside didn't escape, he turned around and awaited their challenge to kill him now that he was supposedly weak now, instead he locked the door with a piece of rebar and gave them all one chance and said that if anyone didn't want to fight he would spare them and if not come at him.
5 minutes later
Zombieman had emerged from the chambers, and while his body was a bit dissolved in front of the whole ordeal, he was fine to keep going. Now he knew definitely that he had encountered more monsters than 60 with that stunt. Of the thirty monsters that had tried to attack him, five of them chose the correct option to just stay put, and he awarded them simply by telling them of the non-killing army little escape vector, and off they went, leaving him there to his own devices for a moment. His arm had fallen off, and he used it as an excuse to take a small break as it would take a couple of minutes for it to heal back up to full strength, but just as it was about to do so, two large robots came marching down the hallway, and he was just lamenting having to sweat so much as well. That's unfortunate he thought.
The clash between the machines was much simpler than against the vampire given their large frames and the comparatively small hallway they did not have much room to swing their arms or legs which made it even easier as he already knew their weak spot, he continued to challenge thrust into actions swiping low under the first one's feet, before climbing up above it and slashing cutting the head off in short order, he dodged out of the way of the second's chains saw as it brought it down on top of the first hoping to bisect both of them.
Zombieman used the opportunity to fire two shots into the robot's wrist holding said chainsaw allowing him to completely blow the thing off he ducked a punch while continuing to fire at the robot's knees dropping it to the floor and allowing him to get behind it and slash at the nape of it's neck completely shutting it down.
He couldn't help but laugh at how easy it was, but he guessed he had Child Emperor to thank for that, and that's what he would do. He radioed the communications unit and told him about how thankful he and the rest of the S-class were for his help in doing practically everything. The boy sounded extremely grateful for it as well, which he was happy to hear. He couldn't get a hold of him for a second there and got worried before putting on his jacket and moving forward. He got a ping on his communication unit for an SOS and saw that it was from him again sometime later, but it soon went dark, and a short time later he explained that he was alright and that he even made it to the surface.
Zombieman guessed that Flash had come and helped, and that's why he was able to get there so fast from being so far low the last time he spoke to him, and the news of three of the cadre dead was also a relief to hear. It meant that he wasn't the only one taking things seriously, but judging from the pig god and atomic reaction replies, some were taking it easier than others. Oh well, it didn't matter now; there was still a child to find, and if Flash was able to beat two cadres by himself along with Child Emperor beating a third, atomic samurai could take the fourth. He picked up his jacket as he continued forward; he could stop to ask some of the monsters about the child, at least the ones that were too afraid to attack him after his next rampage.
