Summary: Gordon messing around with Socks.
Notes: This fic features Gordon appearing to be disgusting with socks, hence the Mature rating.
Socks
For what started out as a rather sick prank idea, it actually became rather effective way for Gordon to keep curious brothers/roommates out of his stuff.
It also exposed the nosy sods, when they called him a filthy animal for having it in his drawers/bag.
The item in question was a sock, in which had brushed in lumpy pasty craft glue that he added some baby powder to make it more authentic.
The final product was a pretty convincing looking cum sock.
Out of his brothers, only Alan was in on the secret of his naughty socks, it wasn't like Gordon actually wanted other people to handle a real one, he only wanted them to think they did, and that was because the little fink had caught him actually making one.
A well placed threat of that next one found would be the real thing, if Alan blabbed to his brothers, pretty much guaranteed that his only younger brother kept his mouth shut.
It actually proved useful for Alan to know the trick, because Alan ended up utilising the same technique to expose a thief in his dorm in the last year he attended boarding school.
He had also let Penelope in on the joke, when Parker accidentally revealed that he had snooping in his room.
She wasn't impressed, but at least she saw the funny/usefulness side of this particular joke.
Thing was he never really used this as a prank - well it wasn't one he used against his family, other than as deterrent to keep them out of his stuff - unless he really didn't like the person, he was pranking somebody he really didn't like.
Like one of his former WASP commanders, Captain Hector Burns…

2057
Commander Liam Anderson glared daggers at Captain Hector Burns, as the latter stood in front of Commander Sam Shore fuming.
Liam was not Burns biggest fan and the feeling was mutual, but instead of keeping their professional issues between themselves, Burns had a rather unprofessional habit of taking his displeasure of Liam out on the subordinates that Liam held in high regard.
This included his daughter Lieutenant Melody Anderson, and the Ensign his father took under his wing, when he did some swim coaching as a favour to WASP, Gordon Tracy.
Liam had a funny feeling the Ensign Tracy was the reason why they were here, the boy had a strong sense of justice and penchant for pranks.
Not to mention, that Gordon had a front row seat to Burns latest attempt to run his daughter down…
Melody and Gordon had a sort of big sister/little brother type relationship that was 100% platonic, but that didn't stop Burns from insinuating that there was something more between them.
He had a feeling that Gordon had reached his breaking point on the matter, and it wasn't something Gordon should have to put up with, especially since the boy was also dealing with the disappearance of his oldest brother in the war zone in Bereznik.
But Burns' dislike for his daughter and her brother from another mother, was not the reason why Burns was standing in front of Shore - well not directly anyway.
It was because a bunch of Burns socks, of all things, had gone missing, and had been reappearing in random places around Marineville.
Now this on it's own would not have raised any eyebrows, except for the fact that every sock that had been found looked like they had been jacked off in.
Burns had been enraged when he found out about the condition of his socks, considering the location's to where some of these dirty socks were left were rather embarrassing, so much so that he had reportedly screamed at all the officers in the mess hall.
To which Gordon had replied, "Why would anyone want to risk getting your foot fungus on their junk?"
To which Burns got into Gordon's face, "I'm going to have these socks tested," he had snarled. "And when I get the DNA results, I'm going come down on them like a ton of bricks."
Gordon far from being actually intimidated, just simply reached for a napkin and spat into it, "Here's my DNA sample," he replied. "Knock yourself out testing it against your filthy socks."
"You are going to rule the day you messed with me," Burns had snarled back at him.
"Whatever," Gordon had replied, and that was when the senior officers had to hold Burns back from beating Gordon up.
Liam brought his mind back to the situation at hand as Shore cleared his throat.
"The test results have come back on your socks, Captain," Shore began. "And the substance found in your socks has turned out to be glue, with some baby powder mixed in."
"What!?!" Burns roared, with an expression of pure outrage. "I was sure that Commander Anderson's fucking golden pet cadet was wanking into my socks like the filthy animal he is."
"That is a strong allegation, Captain," Shore replied. "Do you have any other evidence that suggests that Ensign Tracy has been messing with your belongings?"
"Other than that arrogant prick's attitude," Burns snarled. "No, I don't."
"Well if you can't prove that Tracy was the one behind the prank I can't discipline him for it," Shore replied. "However I can discipline you for your attitude towards some of our junior officers because of their relationship with Commander Anderson here."
"Just because we don't get along is no excuse for the way you have been treating Melody and Gordon," Liam snapped. "Your problem is with me, Burns, I will not tolerate you dragging other people into it."
Burns glared at Liam but said nothing, knowing that if he said anything nasty Shore would probably add to whatever disciplinary had in mind, "You're being transferred to a new posting," Shore ordered. "Commander Sharp needs a new Captain at the South Africa base."
Liam almost winced, Sharp had quite the reputation as a harsh taskmaster, she would have Burns either shape up or drummed out within a year.
The way Burns face blanched told Liam that he knew that too, "Why do I have to be the one that gets transferred?" He asked. "Why can't it be the Anderson's or Tracy?"
"Because they are not the only ones on this base that have issues with you," Shore replied. "Consider this you last chance, Burns, I can't have an officer that doesn't work well when required to work as a team."
Burns looked flabbergasted, "Yes, sir," he replied, sounding defeated. "I will go pack, sir."
As Burns left the office he spun on the two officers that were waiting outside of it, "You little bastard," he snarled. "You will pay for this!"
"Burns!" Liam and Shore roared at the disgraced Captain.
Burns shot the Commanders a dirty look, as he stormed off.
Shore sighed, "Lieutenant Anderson, Ensign Tracy," he called. "In my office now."
Shore looked at the two officers after Melody and Gordon stepped into the room, "I wish to inform you two that, Captain Burns has been transferred," he informed the officers. "This is in regards to his behaviour towards you and other officers in this command, however Ensign, I will require you to replace the socks of the captain's that you poured glue into, be thankful that he wasn't able to prove it was you, but be aware that I know that you're the guilty party."
"Yes sir," Gordon didn't argue with the order. "Anything else, sir?"
"Try to avoid Burns before he leaves," Shore replied. "In fact I think Commander Anderson has plans in that regard."
"Aunt Anna, is paying Dad a visit," Liam informed the pair. "And I have secured some liberty time if you two would like to see her."
Both officers jumped at the opportunity to see their Mer aunt, and happily left the base for a couple of days with Liam.

Captain Burns didn't last long under Sharp's command, he left WASP for places unknown not long after Gordon's hydrofoil accident.
Notes: If you've read Family Secrets, you will know that Gordon is Liam's nephew (but he doesn't know it).
(Yes, I am still working on the final chapter of that story)
