"Judgment for all of you!" Sirus, the angel in charge bellowed as he swung his lance, sending a rain of light down on the mages below.

"What's this guy's problem?!" Cygnus asked.

"That doesn't matter right now! Just watch out!" Selene exclaimed.

Meanwhile the fight between Adamantine and Mithril had come to a standstill. Neither dragon was going to win this fight, and it was made clear when both dragons turned back into their human forms, both down to a knee. Adam would've kept his focus on Mithril, but the five angels descending caught his attention. "What…?"

"What are you looking at?" Mithril asked as he turned around, a brow raised from curiosity as four of the angels flew off towards Crocus. "What is that?"

The rain of light slammed into the mages below, creating a brilliant explosion in the area. When the explosion died down...there was Adam, using his wings to wield everyone from injury. Sirius' attack failed to damage him in a signifcant manner. "Hn…" Sirus grunted at the sight. "Filth…"

Adam's save was greatly appreciated. "Now it's our turn!" Natsu shouted as his fist ignited in flames. Natsu jumped into the air, swinging his fist towards Sirus. "Iron Fist of the Fire Dragon!"

"Don't touch me you filth!" Sirus exclaimed with a disgusted tone as he brought his lance back, slamming the side of it into Natsu's stomach, sending Natsu hurtling towards the ground.

"Natsu!" Exclaimed Happy as he flew up, catching Natsu before he hit the ground.

"Happy, let's go!" Natsu shouted.

"Aye, sir!" Happy grinned, a neon green aura surrounding his body as he went into Max Speed, shooting forward. "Do it now, Natsu!" Happy then hurled Natsu forward once again.

"Fire Dragon Sword Horn!" Natsu roared as flames covered his body; he spun around to add an extra effect to his attack, but Sirius wasn't having any of it.

"Trash like you just doesn't know when to give up!" Sirus held his spear up, forming an concentrated sphere of light on it, and then pointed his spear forward, unleashing a blast of light that engulfed Natsu and the rest of the mages, creating another explosion that knocked them out this time.

"Oh, I like where this little game is going…" Maggie said with a slight grin. "Took those wankers out without too much effort, I think I like this…"

"What IS going on, though?" Tobias asked.

"Hell if I know…" Maggie replied. "But, it is fun to watch."

"Hmph…" Sirus pointed to the sky, and the clouds began to separate. "It is time, my angel warriors. From the heavens, it is our job to erase the darkness that plagues this land!" As Sirus spoke, a horde of angelic soldiers descended from the clouds. "Now, the others have gone to Crocus, the largest city within Fiore. We still start there, and then work our way to the rest of the country, and eventually, the neighboring countries as well!"

"But what of the Pergrande Kingdom, sir?" Zihark questioned. "We do not have Lord Yggdrassil..."

"...Pergrande is not our concern right now. We cannot afford to fight them again." Sirius said. "But as it stands, Fiore is the cause of plenty of darkness swirling about the land. Since Pandora is occupying Prometheus, it falls upon us to quell this chaos before it becomes too late."

"Yes, sir!" The angel soldiers all nodded before heading over to Crocus.

"We will be back for you, Tartaros…it is not in my jurisdiction to upset the balance between Heaven and Hell just yet…but soon…" Sirus mumbled before flying off in the direction of Crocus.

"Tch…" Sidney grunted as he reappeared in a puff of white smoke, heavily damaged, but he was fine otherwise. Sidney walked over to Kuro, Reve, and Zalen, and nudged them awake. "Wake up."

"Five more minutes, Mary…" Kuro mumbled in his unconscious state as he stirred.

"I'm awake…" Reve groaned as he stood up. "What the hell just happened…?"

"I don't know, but we're not going to make it in time at this rate," Sidney replied.

"Good thing the old man made me bring this…" Reve said as he pulled out a communications lacrima.

From far off, Aiden and Hyde were watching the angels flying off towards Crocus. Hyde placed a hand under his chin, somewhat upset. "My script didn't call for this…"

"I don't think many people saw this particular event coming…" Aiden replied as he placed his hands behind his back. "Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how this event plays out…"

"If my knowledge on his script is correct…" Hyde started as he continued to watch the angels fly off until they were out of sight. "It seems as though the angels are here to exact judgment on those who have caused a considerable about of darkness or evil energy out. That must be upsetting whatever balance they are trying to uphold."

"If that's the case, why not just eliminate Tartaros?" Aiden asked.

"I thought that too, however I realized that Tartaros is the representation of Hell, and that would be upsetting the balance between Heaven and Hell, and it doesn't seem as though the angel in charge wishes to upset that balance." Hyde explained. "However, haven't you noticed that it's ironically been the legal mages that have been going down dark roads? Take Chelia Blendy for example. She was a girl of light, but her light was easily corrupted by the darkness given to her by Diana. But, I suppose that she's a bad example considering her and her darkness is now gone from this world…"

"Regardless…" Aiden started as he began to walk off. "This situation doesn't concern us. In fact, I still have something I need to do, and for that to happen, we must get back to the lab."

Cobra, Racer, Angel, Hoteye and Midnight stood on a cliff nearby, watching the descend of the angels. "Soon…" Angel whispered to herself as she marveled at the angels from afar. "I will become one of them…and soar into the sky…"

"They're rather fed up with the chain of events occurring within the country, it seems…" Cobra explained. "They plan to "reset" the entire world…"

"How horrifying..." Hoteye said with a frown.

"I find that to be a rather bold plan…" Racer chuckled somewhat. "Are we just going to watch from the sidelines, Midnight?"

"When it becomes apparent we should intervene, which I doubt, we shall. I will not allow our reign of terror to come to a stop before it even begins due to some angels." Midnight replied as he turned around, and began walking off with Racer and Cobra.

"Soon…" Angel whispered to herself as she continued to gaze at the angels. "My prayer will be answered…"

"This guy is really annoying…" Waiston groaned as Hades still stood tall.

"I dance with magic, unlike the rest of you," Hades replied.

"We gotta do something quick otherwise…" Cana started.

"Hold it…" Shadowlore's ears perked up somewhat. "Do you guys…hear that?"

"I can smell it…" Daryan replied.

"Me too…" Waiston nodded.

"What's going on now?" Levy asked as she looked around Magnolia, but she didn't see anything.

"Look, up there!" Nami exclaimed as she pointed to the sky. The angels zoomed past the town of Magnolia, racing towards Crocus.

"What are those things?!" Jaxon asked.

"They look like…angels?" Lisanna blinked a few times.

"Hm…?" Hades, now seeing a bigger situation was at hand, quickly made his exit away from the town, though everyone else was too busy noticing the angels to notice him.

"Hmm….?" Calium pulled out a communication lacrima, only to notice Reve in the picture. "Reve? What's going on? Did you see those angels?"

"Yeah," Reve replied. "Everyone over here is alright, but those angels are kinda pissed, and they're going to start destroying Crocus before heading out to the rest of the country."

"They're gonna do what?" Levy asked in utter shock.

"We don't know the full story behind it," Sidney explained. "But, instead of standing around, making way to Crocus would be a good idea, don't you think?"

"Right, everyone, you heard him!" Makarov shouted. "Calium, you and I will contact the other guilds!"

"We better start moving then…" Jack said as he looked off into the distance. "Because it doesn't look like they'll be so friendly with the time…"

{Flashback: Rebirth of Cynthia}

Cynthia's eyes opened slowly, and she groaned lowly. "I'm awake…I'm awake…" Cynthia blinked a few times, realizing what she just said, and she shot up. "I'm awake!? But…that can't be…!"

"Rise and shine…" Chelia said with a slight smile.

"Chelia…?!" Cynthia's eyes widened. "What's going on here…? Where am I…?"

"Calm down…" Chelia replied. "You're alive, and you're in Lamia Scale's infirmary. You've been out for a few days."

"How am I alive…?" Cynthia asked.

"You never died. When we found you, your heart was still beating. It was faint, but..." Chelia replied. "We also managed to put your lacrima back inside your body, and it's not so close to your heart this time."

"I-I don't know what to say…" Cynthia couldn't help but grin, but then something hit her. "Wait, what about Wendy!? Fairy Tail!?"

"They're holding a funeral for you tomorrow," Chelia nodded.

"…They thought they were…" Cynthia grinned slightly.

{End Flashback}

"Ugh…" Cynthia stirred as she woke up, groaning somewhat as she sat up. "What happened…?"

"Angels happened…" Lucy replied.

"Aren't angels supposed to…not do that?" Laxus asked, shooting his glance at Kairi.

"What are you looking at me like that for!?" Kairi shouted.

"Sabertooth, Lamia Scale, Twilight Zone, Jellal's group, and some of White Eclipse have already left," Erza stated.

"Did I hold you guys up by being out the longest…?" Cynthia asked.

"No, we were thinking of a plan," Gray replied.

"Who needs a plan when you can just beat 'em up!?" Natsu suggested as he pointed his fist into an open palm. "I'm ready!"

"I can agree with that plan, Gieheh…" Gajeel grinned slightly.

"Let's get moving then, we don't have much time left!" Lucy exclaimed.

The city of Crocus was in turmoil, the angel soldiers were causing havoc all around the city, not sparing anyone. "Hey, everyone, out of the city!" Correll ordered as he pointed to an exit for the bystanders to take.

"W-What is happening...?!" Hisui was in shock, watching the angelic descent happen from Mercurius Castle.

"This is terrible!" Toma, the King of Fiore, turned to the Royal Guard. "You must evacuate the city at once! The protection of the people is more important than anything else!"

"Yes, sir!" Arcadios nodded.

"In a calm and orderly fashion as well!" Odin shouted after Correll.

Above the city, the four angel captains watched the destruction below. "Ah…look at them squirm…I don't see the point, it's all gonna end up pointless in the end…" Zihark chuckled slightly.

"It is in human nature to at least try to stop something such as this," Layanna replied.

"Oh yeah, you were a human once yourself, weren't ya?" Zihark looked over at Layanna, who nodded.

"It was only just recently she joined us, remember?" The other captain asked, Cumore. "She showed exceptional talent, and commander Sirus offered for her to join our ranks."

"Ah, I remember…" Zihark nodded.

"Look down there…" Lucifer interjected as he pointed down the noise below. It was a few mages from White Eclipse, Fairy Tail, Quatro Cerberus, and Mermaid Heel, all arriving from different areas of the city.

"Ah…it looks as though the common rabble has arrived…" Cumore stated with a sarcastic tone.

"This should be interesting…" Zihark scoffed. "They're efforts will prove useless in the end…"

"Ice Lance!" Cana yelled as she swiped three cards forward, unleashing several ice lances forward towards a few angels, striking them directly. The angels flew back into the nearest building, which quickly collapsed on them. Cana turned around, only for her confident expression to turn into one of shock as an angel appeared behind her with a sword held back, ready to swing.

"Oh, whoa, look out!" Blues shouted as he moved forward, placing a Water Make: Shield before Cana, which managed to take the blow, allowing Cana to jump back. "Yo!"

"Blues?" Cana blinked a few times, though she was grateful for the Water Dragon's interference. She then threw down another card with a thunderbolt insignia on it. "Jolt of Fate!" After Cana exclaimed this, a thunderbolt dropped down on the angel, frying the attacker, thus killing it, noted by it falling lifelessly to the ground.

"You guys aren't the only ones around here tryin' to help out!" Blues replied as his partner, Kuro Chi, appeared next to him. "See?"

"I didn't think we'd be fighting angels…" Kuro mumbled as he looked around at the destruction.

"I didn't think angels would even be coming down…" Blues continued as he rubbed the back of his head.

"You two better stay sharp…" Cana said as he brought a few more cards up; as she spoke, a circle of angels surrounded the three.

"Heh, just leave it to the Dragon God Duo…" Blues smirked as he and Kuro stood back to back.

Bacchus swayed his body back narrowly avoiding a punch from a rather bulky and muscular angel centurion. Bacchus then swung his palm at the chest of said centurion, smacking the angel in the stomach, causing the angel to the stumble back a few steps. "Heh, this is pretty wild!"

"I don't think wild is the correct word to use here…" Lisanna scratched the back of her head as she stood on the sidelines, watching Bacchus and Elfman take on the Centurion.

"A real Man would know this kind of situation is quite invigorating!" Elfman shouted in his manly tone as he used his Beast Arm: Iron Bull, to aim a heavy punch at the Centurion, causing it to slide back after impact.

"Heh, this one knows where it's at!" Bacchus grinned. "Wild!"

"Four!" The manly mage followed up.

A comical sweat drop appeared on Lisanna's head as she just sighed. "Sometimes I just can't…" Lisanna's senses then kicked as she jumped to the side, just narrowly avoiding a large axe that cleaved the ground in half. "AH!"

"Lisanna!" Elfman turned around once he heard his little sister's shriek of surprise, however this left him open to a powerful shoulder tackle from the Centurion, which sent him rolling across the ground.

"Oi! Careful!" Bacchus shouted as he aimed another palm strike at the Centurion, but the bulky angel blocked the hit, returning fire with a heavy punch to Bacchus' jaw, sending him staggering back a few feet. "Gah!"

Lisanna quickly used her Animal Soul takeover to change into her cat form, which granted her an outfit similar to a two piece bikini, cat ears, a tail, and claws. Using her speed, she jumped forward, aiming multiple slashes at the axe wielding angel that struck her. The angel was quick, but Lisanna was faster, and her scratches landed, which she eventually finished off with a slash across the angel's chest. "Elfnii-chan, are you alright?!"

"I'm fine!" Elfman replied as he stood in his Beast Soul takeover.

"This is getting pretty wild, heh…" Bacchus grinned as he got his bearings straight.

.

.

"It appears the common rabble is causing quite the ruckus…" Cumore sighed.

"I think they need a memo…" Zihark grunted. "Layanna, would you be so kind?"

"Of course," Layanna nodded, requipping into her Black Ice sword. Then, using her angelic wings, she sped forward with said blade held back. With her amazing speed, she swopped into the city, slashing Rocker, Jaxon, Yeager, Nami, and Beth, encasing them in black ice before they even had a chance to react. Layanna then flew back into the sky. "How was that, Zihark-sama?"

"Perfect…" Zihark grinned.
