WARNING: English isn't my first language, but I'm going to do my best to write as grammatically correct as possible.

Ok, it seems I could get this one on time, not sure how long that is going to last, but hey, something seems to come out of this. Still trying to make this story catch up to its spanish version but I'll get there eventually, I want to surprise everyone with each chapter I publish instead of trying to do it this way, less work for me that way, but enough for a while, enjoy the chapter.

TDI. Chapter 10: Wawanakwa's Open Season

(Dock of Shame)

Chris can be seen at the Dock of Shame, "Last time on Total Drama Island" campers can be seen on the beach forming teams, then shown paddling. "Our campers paddled and took a tour on Boney Island" the host clarifies to display a panoramic view of the island.

Now we can see the campers discussing a specific topic. "It seems like love is in the air, dear audience, because there are some campers about to take the first step..." Chris mentions while showing Gwen looking at Naruto and Cody's canoe and Geoff trying to talk to Bridgette at the other side of the beach in Boney Island . "Or they're simply in denial" he clarifies, while the camera now shows Courtney trying to change the subject when talking to Bridgette.

"But it wasn't until the end of the challenge that something that took us all by surprise happened" the host mentions as a helicopter follows Izzy. "Damn, I don't know what's on Izzy's head, but getting in the sights of the army is something I didn't expect. I knew the girl was crazy, but not completely insane," Chris admits with the screen showing the girl using her fire starter on her team's campfire.

"Thanks to that, Harold seizes the opportunity to get away from Heather's clutches and be transferred to the Killer Bass" Chris clarifies while showing Harold moving to his new cabin with luggage in hand.

Back to the dock with Chris. "What will Harold do to take down Heather? Will anyone else notice the queen bee's alliance? And can my teeth be even whiter?" Chris takes a swipe at his ego to smile at the camera, and curiously, his dentures sparkle.

"Find out here on TOTAL ... DRAMA ... ISLAND!" he announces for the zoom to show the island.

(Opening, if you are curious, see the chapter "Not so Happy Campers - Part 1")

(Cabins)

In a tree near the cabins, a bird can be seen arriving, curiously wearing a blue hat and carrying a bag full of newspapers proportionate to its size. It takes one with its beak, throws it into the tree trunk hole, and leaves to continue its work. Shortly after, a bluish-gray squirrel comes out, reading the newspaper with a coffee cup. It would have been a quiet morning if not for a helicopter passing by.

(Killer Bass Cabin)

Duncan was the first to react to the noise, and it looks like this isn't the first time he has an experience like this if his reaction is something to go by. "Shit! They've found us dudes, hide!" he alerts the others as his fellow teammates wake up, not very happy.

(Screaming Gophers Cabin)

"Chris is really starting to get on my nerves" Leshawna growls about how the host woke them up.

"Whatever" Heather rolls her eyes. "At this point, it's clear that Chris just enjoys ruining our mornings" the queen bee clarifies, somewhat resigned to her current situation. She was about to ask/order Lindsay and Beth to prepare her shower if it weren't for something moving in her blanket. With some doubts, she removes it to see a small raccoon family that, for some reason, keeps sleeping despite the noise. This made the girl scream in surprise, waking up who knows how many animals were sleeping in her cabin room, and it's worth mentioning that they were not happy to be woken up like that.

(Confession)

"Again?" Gwen wonders, wearing her regular clothes, but with several scratches on her face.

"Since we came back from that damn island, strange things have been happening in our team ..." she explains while raising each finger, mentioning what happened. "Naruto almost had a tree falling on his head during his morning exercises with Eva, yesterday the roof of the main hall almost fell on Cody and Leshawna while we had breakfast, Lindsay's dryer somehow broke down and almost burned her head when it spit fire somehow, and now wild animals, that somehow snuck into our cabin, attack us" the goth explains to the audience.

"We blamed Chris, but not even he knows what's going on" Gwen concludes, but when she tried to get up, she couldn't. It seems she got stuck in the toilet.

"Oh no, you have to be fucking kidding me!" curses the girl without knowing that Beth was passing next to the confession cab with the Tiki in her pocket.

(Communal Bathrooms)

We can see most of the girls from both teams lining up while holding back the urge to go to the bathroom, Eva, who is seeing this, just rolls her eyes. It's in situations like these that she appreciates waking up early.

"How much longer is daddy's girl going to be inside?" Leshawna asks, unable to believe that Heather locked the door only to have privacy.

"At least a while longer" Beth answers as she arrives, much to the dismay of the waiting girls, but as soon as the farm girl arrives, karma or anything else happens sooner rather than later due to Heather's terrified scream.

"What da -? Is this sewer water? EEEWWWWW!" Yes, it seems very few started the day well.

"Well, at least this makes my morning more enjoyable" Leshawna admits with a smile.

"Attention campers, bring your butts to the campfire pit, it's time for today's challenge!" everyone hears Chris' announcement through the loudspeaker.

(Campfire pit)

"Are you ready for our newest extreme impact challenge?!" Chris seems to be in a good mood today.

"Yes, we are! Woo-hoo!" and it seems Owen is following suit, but his celebration is momentarily interrupted when Chef throws a can of something at him, and seeing it, his mood rise even more. "Beans!" He loves beans.

"That's breakfast" the hosts chuckles. It's the closest thing he's given them to a decent breakfast since the start of the show.

"No, a real breakfast is crepes, croissants, and even Chef's burnt eggs" Heather complains somewhat away from the others, mainly because due to her shower, she smells quite bad, and the others couldn't stand the smell.

~"Beans, beans, good for your heart, the more you eat, the more you ..."~ But before Owen could finish his song, Heather threw her can straight into his mouth, but instead of being upset, the oaf just laughed joyfully for having more to eat.

Meanwhile, Chris decides to explain the challenge of this occasion. "Today's challenge is about survival" he announces while pulling a paintball gun and a military cap out of nowhere. "We're going hunting." This undoubtedly caught the attention of most of the boys.

"Awesome, now you're speaking my language," Duncan smiles at the sight of the gun, this is going to be fun.

"You said it, dude" Naruto replies with his own smile, high-fiving the punk. It seems those two lost themselves in their own world.

"Isn't that a paintball gun?" Harold couldn't help but ask, with Chris resisting to answer 'No shit Sherlock, of course is a freaking paintball gun', but he kept his professional smile.

"Of course it is, Harold" the host answers before shooting him in the chest, sending him to the ground.

"So, we're not going to kill anything?" Bridgette asks with her arms crossed. Not even all the money in the world would make her kill an animal that way.

"NEGATORY" Chris affirms as clear as possible to the camera. He doesn't need PETA behind his ass again after the last challenge.

"This will be the first ever paintball deer hunt ..." the host announces "first finish your breakfast, and let's move on with today's agenda" Chris tells everyone before hearing a loud burp. When everyone turns, they see that Owen somehow easily ate two dozen cans of beans.

"Do you have more?" the oaf asks cheerfully.

(Later)

"With blue paint, the Killer Bass hunters are Eva, Harold, Bridgette, and Geoff" the host announces while throwing a paintball gun to each one.

"Sweet!" Geoff cheers while Harold smiles, knowing who to shoot if she is not chosen as a hunter.

"And on the Screaming Gophers side, Lindsay, Leshawna, Beth, and Owen will be loaded with orange paint to hunt" those mentioned by Chris receive their weapons.

"Woo-hoo, oh yeah, baby!" Owen is definitely excited today.

"The rest of you are deers" the host announces playfully as he puts on glasses to complement his military cap. "The hunters will receive this amazing camo cap and stylish glasses, while the deer will wear their antlers, tails, glasses, and red noses" Chris finishes as the interns show the deer accessories.

"Oh, come on" Gwen couldn't help but complain, something the other deers shared.

"I'm not putting that on" Duncan affirms, disappointed of not being a hunter, but Chef arrived to force the costume on him, and it must be said that he looks a bit dorky if the small chuckles and giggles from the others are any indication.

"The first deer to take off the costume gives the victory to the other team" Chris announces amusingly to add more to his misery.

Meanwhile, Owen approaches Duncan, very amused, which the punk doesn't find funny. "What do you find funny?" he asks the oaf, quite annoyed.

But despite his tone, Owen wasn't fazed. "Nothing at all ... Bambi" the oaf answers, this prompted really loud cackles from the others.

"You'd better take a good shot, chubby!" Duncan threatened, now completely irritated. This is not his day.

"Hey Chris, isn't there any way we can defend ourselves?" Naruto asks curiously for the host to think about it for a moment.

"If you mean defending yourself apart from hiding in nature itself, I suppose both deers and hunters can set up traps, but I highly doubt you can set some quick enough with the duration of the challenge" Chris replies.

"I understand" the Japanese guy responds, and although no one knows why, several felt a shiver on their backs, including Chris and Chef.

"If there are no more questions, deers, go into the forest, you have a 10-minute head start," Chris concludes.

(Forest - Killer Bass Deers)

"At least we have a head start" Katie admits, relieved, with Courtney nodding.

"Right, how are we going to do this? Do we split up completely or go in pairs?" the polite girl asks.

"I don't know what you guys are going to do, but I'll go on my own" DJ tells them. Surprisingly, he goes galloping on all fours like a real deer, shocking his teammates who have wide-open eyes and jaws down to the floor.

'Holy shit' Duncan can't believe what he sees, no human should be able to do that, but DJ just proved him wrong.

(Forest - Screaming Gophers Deers)

"Great, just great" Gwen murmurs sarcastically as she walks. As soon as Chris gave the signal, Naruto shot into the forest a while ago, and Cody took his own path, leaving her with Heather, the most irritating person she has ever met.

"The most effective thing is to find a place to hide, otherwise, we'll be easy prey" the queen bee suggests, and the goth nods, seeing the logic.

"Also, it should be a place that cancels out the smell, not to offend, but..." Gwen didn't finish the last part, seeing Heather's harsh look. "Oh, come on, you know it's true" the goth tells her, rolling her eyes.

"Let's just find a hiding spot" the queen bee grumbles.

(Confession)

"Normally, I would wait in a place for Lindsay and Beth to protect me..." Heather admits to the audience. "But Harold's betrayal forces me to do more than I had estimated."

Now the queen bee takes on a thoughtful look as she crosses her arms. "I have to regain total control of the team and prevent the Moron's group from gaining more power. Owen is easy to convince, so my only option is to eliminate the loose ends within my team" Heather concludes her thought.

*Static*

"Man, it's been a while since I could make a prank" Naruto clarifies, for some reason he has leaves and branches in his hair, bruises, he is covered in paint, and has a black eye. Despite that, he has a huge smile on his face.

"It was worth it." Yep, today was a good day.

(With the hunters)

"Everyone knows what to do," Eva indicates as the temporary leader of her small group. Something that surprised her is that Harold is really helping them despite recently changing teams. However, the athletic girl attributes it to the fact that he didn't have the best relationship with them, which was partially correct.

On the other hand, Bridgette was somewhat troubled, something Geoff instantly picked up on.

"What's wrong, Bridge?" the party guy asks, and she looks at him.

"I'm not a big fan of these activities. I know we're not really hunting anything, but still," she mentions, leaving Geoff unsure of what to say since, for him, this was a fun challenge. Fortunately, Harold also overheard them and decided to share his opinion.

"You don't just have to shoot to help you can help us track others" the nerd clarifies, encouraging the surfer to think about it. She could totally do that.

(Confession)

"The team change is refreshing. Without Heather watching every step of mine, I can gain allies and do everything possible to get rid of her" Harold admits happily to the camera.

"I feel bad for the rest of the Gophers though, but if I can get that wretched girl out of the show, it'll be worth it" Harold affirms to the audience.

(With the hunters)

"Besides, you could ... like ... shoot Heather" Harold continued, trying to single out the queen bee. Surprisingly, it worked wonders, seeing Bridgette coming out of her gloom when he mentioned that.

"Wait, is Heather a deer?" Bridgette asks, only to see her teammates nod, that made her smile along with a slightly creepy little laugh. The girl isn't dumb, she saw how the queen bee was willing to leave her on her own in the mine challenge.

Seeing the new mood of the surfer, the others just looked at each other, wondering what just got into her before waiting for Chris.

On the other hand, let's say the Gophers' hunters have their own situation.

"So, are we going as a group, or do we split into pairs?" Beth asks, but she and Lindsay and Leshawna get distracted when they see Owen pouring some liquid on his face.

"What did you just pour on yourself, Owen?" Leshawna asks curiously.

"My pee, I need to cover my scent with nature to catch my prey" the big guy replies without issues, making disgusted faces from his teammates.

"I have more if any of you need it" Owen tells them while offering them a can of beans with said liquid.

"Eewww, that's gross, Ottis" Lindsay shudders.

"You do know we won't be hunting real animals, right?" Leshawna reminds him, and Owen blinks.

"Then I just poured my own pee on myself for nothing?" he asks himself before tossing the can without noticing that he almost hit the girls.

"All right, campers, let the deer open season begin!" the host announces to sound his horn.

"Let the hunt begin!" Owen exclaims, heading straight to the forest, ignoring the screams of his teammates to come back.

"Darn it, Owen!" frustrated, Leshawna shouts as she sees the guy go away. But that anger quickly turned into amazement as both she and the others watched with wide-open eyes as Owen was catapulted into the air due to a makeshift catapult made with what seems to be vines.

"What the hell, Chris?" Eva asks the host, but the host is equally surprised by that.

"Don't look at me, I didn't do this" Chris admits to the surprise of the others. "But I'm not complaining, this will add more excitement to the challenge," he smiles to the hunters' dismay.

(With Naruto)

"Oh, it looks like I have my first victim" Naruto laughs as he sees Owen falling directly into a lake.

"I think I better move from here, they'll be looking for Owen, and I don't want the other team to find me," he mentions, looking for another place to set more traps.

(With Owen)

"Maybe the hunter was taken by surprise, but the hunter won't stop until he gets his prey," Owen narrates in a monologue.

Then he hears a noise; this makes the guy approach some bushes, and upon fixing his gaze, he sees DJ posing as a deer.

Seeing this opportunity, the oaf takes his gun and aims "Despite Mother Nature's challenges, the hunter stands firm to finally get his ..." but his monologue is interrupted when a very loud fart is released. DJ heard it and started galloping out of there.

"Wait, come back here!" Owen exclaims to start a chase.

(With the Killer Bass Deers)

"It's not funny, Duncan," Courtney complains to the delinquent who was laughing his ass of at seeing her tied upside down and covered in honey. Meanwhile, Katie was untying the vines with a shaky smile and slight spasms indicating that she was holding back a lot to not laugh.

"Of course, it is. Oh man, I needed that," Duncan calms down as he wipes away a tear.

"The next time I see Chris, I'll give him a big complaint for not mentioning all the details of the ch- AHHH!" but she couldn't finish when Katie finally managed to untie everything, too bad this made the polite girl collide with the ground.

"Oops, I think we should have put something underneath to cushion the fall, sorry, Courtney" the taller of the BFFF apologizes.

"Don't apologize" dismissing Katie's concern and getting up, Courtney couldn't help but give Duncan a dirty look. "At least you helped me, unlike someone" she mentions for the punk to roll his eyes.

"Come on Princess, some bruises won't kill you" the punk doesn't cares much about her complains, much to the polite girl's frustration.

(Confession)

"That ogre is so frustrating" Courtney complains, still covered in honey. "He doesn't listen, he's noisy, irresponsible, and immature. I'm just glad that I won't have to see him again when the show ends" she concludes, crossing her arms with an annoyed look.

*Static*

"That stuck-up girl lacks some excitement in her life" Duncan casually complains while drawing a skull on one of the confession room walls with his knife.

"Always so strict, refined, and stuck to the rules, that's why I call her Princess, you know" Duncan gives that piece of information to the audience. "Why be like that when you can't even enjoy life to the fullest?"

*Static*

"Is it me, or is there some chemistry between those two?" Katie asks the audience at home while blinking in confusion.

(With the Killer Bass deers)

"Shut it" Courtney replies as she takes a stone and throws it at Duncan, who dodges it. However, the stone ended up hitting something in the bushes, this gets the attention of the three, who saw an angry bear sticking its head out with a bruise on its forehead.

"Run!" Katie exclaims for the three to escape from the animal.

"Why do things like this always have to happen?!" Katie complains unbelievably. She thought that with Izzy off the island, the craziness would stop, but apparently, this is not the case.

"Save the complaints for later, just run!" Duncan indicates for the three to continue their path, seeing Cody walking calmly in the distance.

"Guys, what's going …? AHHH!" but his question remained unfinished as he saw the bear and ran along with the others.

"Why the hell is a bear chasing you?!" the Geek asks them. Being bear food was not part of his plans for the day.

"I'll explain later, just run!" Katie replies.

(With the Hunters of the Killer Bass)

"Haven't found anything yet?" Eva asks with the rest of her small squad looking around for deer.

"Nah, not yet, dudette" Geoff replies.

"We've been at it for like an hour and a half, where could they be hiding?" Harold wonders.

"Anyway, we better split up - Ahhh!" Eva was saying, but she was thrown into the air due to another catapult.

"Umm... should we look for her?" Harold asks, but his blonde companions shake their heads immediately.

"No way, man, I won't risk being the target of her anger right now" Geoff says, and with that, the three continue searching for deers.

(With Naruto)

He was walking quite calmly next to one of the forest lakes. Everything was calm until someone fell into the lake quite close to him.

"All right, that's two down. I wonder who else has fallen for my pranks" he asks himself. Although it was a bad idea to say it out loud, as soon as Eva emerged from the water, she saw the Japanese guy with a not so friendly look.

"So, it was you who did this?!" she clarifies, a deadly shiver went through his back. Out of all the people that could land next to him, why did it have to be her?

"I'm out of here!" the blonde squeaks before sprinting away, and even if he is faster than Eva, the girl didn't care and followed him angrily.

"Get back here, you damn piece of shit!" the athletic girl roars, shooting several bullets that Naruto luckily dodges.

"Help, someone call the police!" the Japanese guy screams in terror, but it seems that no one hears him, or simply doesn't want to be in the crossfire.

(With the Huntresses of the Screaming Gophers)

"I can't believe we haven't found anything yet, it's been two hours," Leshawna complains while she and Lindsay and Beth search through the forest.

"Well, it's a pretty big forest, and we're looking for four people, so I guess it's pretty complicated" Beth tries to explain.

"Umm... is it normal for bushes to move?" Lindsay asks, pointing to some bushes in the distance that are indeed moving slightly.

"It's not normal," Leshawna mentions while lowering her voice, indicating to the other two girls to get ready. Understanding, the three move slowly, and at the moment they got close enough, they start shooting at what they think are human deers ... and it worked, but those were not the deers they expected.

"What the hell?!" Gwen screamed while Heather did her best to cover herself.

"Ceasefire, ceasefire!" Beth orders to Leshawna and Lindsay, realizing who they were shooting at.

"Harley, Wanda? Did the bushes eat you?" the bombshell asks only to shrink under Heather's glare.

"What the hell is wrong with you three?!" the Queen Bee roars as Leshawna approaches.

"Hey, it was a mistake, we couldn't risk that there could be deers from the other team and allow them to escape" the sassy girl replies, so Heather extends her hand to Lindsay for her to give her the gun, which was done instantly.

"Then you wouldn't mind the mistake I'm about to make" the girl growls before shooting.

"Are you crazy?!" Gwen couldn't believe what was happening.

"Oh, this is war" Leshawna also growls to shoot back.

"Umm... girls, I don't think this is the best idea," Beth tries to calm things down a bit by walking a bit without noticing that she pulled a cable as she walked until it was too late. Following the cable up, she can see that a shadow is above, and before everyone could react, they were covered in honey.

(Confession)

"What does the universe have against us?" Gwen wonders incredulously.

(With the Girls of the Screaming Gophers)

"Incredible, just incredible," Heather murmurs, undoubtedly this was not her day. "Can this day get any ...?" but her sentence didn't end when Gwen covered her mouth.

"Don't involve Murphy's Law in this" the goth girl states. She didn't want to make her day worse than it already was.

But what no one noticed is that Beth's Tiki's eyes briefly glowed pale red, and shortly after, a beehive falls in the middle of the group.

"Oh no" Beth murmurs swallowing a bit as she sees the bees coming out of the hive.

"Run!" Leshawna exclaims so that everyone escapes to avoid the bees.

(With Owen and DJ)

"Come back here... deer" Owen wheezes while shooting at DJ without hitting him once, still continuing his pursuit on a steep surface.

"The hunter ... will not be ... defeated" Owen mentions, getting more and more tired while shooting at DJ.

"The hunter ... will emerge victorious" he continued with his monologue until both reached the top of the cliff without realizing it. Bad news for DJ, who ended up cornered.

"At the end of ... a difficult ... chase ... the hunter finally obtains ... his prey" Owen mentions victorious to shoot DJ, who closed his eyes accepting his fate. But to the surprise of both, the gun ran out of bullets. The oaf tried to shoot several times, but nothing happened.

...

...

...

Already acquiring a nervous look at seeing how DJ approaches him somewhat annoyed, Owen somehow continues with his monologue, "The deer will withdraw, respecting the hunter's supremacy. The deer will only circle the hunter to be able to leave" Owen was saying even more nervously, now having DJ face to face, "Oh, come on, dude, have mercy." Finally dropping his act, a nervous Owen didn't know what was going on in DJ's head.

...

...

...

Now we can see Owen falling from the cliff with a terrified scream right into the safe zone. Satisfied with what he did, DJ just turns around and goes galloping back into the forest.

(With Katie and Cody)

"We finally ... lost it ..." Katie mentioned as best she could due to exhaustion.

"Awesome ..." Cody agreed, catching his breath. They had to split into groups of two to distract the bear about which group to follow. After that, it was just a matter of running to lose sight of it.

"Don't you think ... we should go back?" Katie asked, regaining control. It's been quite a while, and the challenge should be about to end.

"I guess" Cody replied. "Want to chat on the way back?" The geek asked, receiving a nod from the tallest of the BFFF. At least something good came out of this.

(With Courtney and Duncan)

"Chris ... will have ... several... reprimands ... from this" Courtney mentioned, lying on the ground due to exhaustion, clearly not used to run like that.

"Get up, Princess ... it'll hit you hard if you let your body cool down like that" Duncan said while trying to lift her despite her refusal. After 'battling' with her for a while, the delinquent lifted her up piggyback style.

"Why ... are you helping me?" the tired and slightly blushing girl mumbled. It was unclear if it was due to exhaustion, embarrassment, or something else. Nevertheless, she appreciated the help, and Duncan didn't see her face in these moments.

"Don't get any ideas. I can't leave you as the bear's new chew toy" he replied, although he didn't really know why he was doing this. Normally, he would have lifted her and let her walk on her own.

"Let's go back. The challenge shouldn't last much longer" Duncan said, starting to walk, but the girl playfully slapped him on the head.

"It's the other way, Ogre" Courtney said, making Duncan snort.

"I already knew, Princess. I just wanted to see if you were paying attention" he replied, heading to where the girl indicated before adding, "And by the way, don't touch my mohawk" he clarifies to the girl's soft giggle. It seems the punk is somewhat protective of his hair style, but still, Courtney saw this side of Duncan again. Why doesn't he show it more often?

(With Eva and Naruto)

"Come back here!" Eva roared while firing another shot that hit Naruto's shoulder. Years of target practice served her well.

"No thanks, I like living!" the boy said while running. At the moment, Eva seemed not only interested in shooting him, and all his survival instincts told him to lose her or find Chef, he would serve as a human shield while the girl calmed down. Now that he thinks about it, that's a good plan. He needs to go to the Main Hall at this moment and ...

But his thoughts were interrupted when his foot was caught by a rope he set himself and was hung on a tree. How ironic, his own creation was his downfall. The boy didn't have time to free himself when Eva caught up with him shortly after.

"Well, well, it seems luck is on my side today" the girl said while reloading her pistol, which brought bad vibes to the Japanese.

"Would it help to say I'm sorry?" the boy weakly proposes, knowing what's about to happen.

"I don't think so, and don't worry, I'll restrain myself with the punches. I don't want to be disqualified from the show after all" the girl replied with a smile, lowering her gun to crack her knuckles and neck with a smile that made Naruto tremble.

"AHHHH, MERCYYYY!" was the Japanese boy's scream while showing a panoramic view of the forest with his screams of pain and sounds of punches, followed by a sound of shooting.

(Confession)

"And ever since then, I promised not to do any more pranks" Naruto admits, now showing why he was so battered and covered in paint. "At least not with Eva around" he finishes. It seems he's only going to be careful with his targets from now on.

(With the Gopher girls)

"I hate this island" Gwen muttered as the girls walked with a few bee stings and completely soaked. They had to find a river to hide in and avoid being stung.

"The horror" Lindsay murmured terrified, remembering that and then looking at her stings with a frightened face. It would take a lot of lotions to get back to normal.

"I just hope Owen caught someone" Leshawna murmured. This was not her day at all.

"Just shut up" Heather ordered. She didn't want to hear any more bad news today. But out of nowhere, she and Gwen were being shot by the remaining Bash hunters. Well they shoot Heather more than anyone else, this is because Bridgette and Harold's are enjoying this much more than they should if their smiling faces are an indication of something.

But before anything else happened, Chris's voice came through the loudspeaker. "Attention campers, the hunt is over, so bring your butts back for the count" Chris said.

(Campfire pit)

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, you set traps that affected the performance of both teams" Chris said in a serious tone that is very rarely seen while a beaten Naruto tensed at Eva's gaze, he's just glad no one else knows about that.

"You were attacked by bees" the host continued, making the Gopher girls, who have bee stings, nervous.

"And you annoyed a bear so that it would chase you" he finished, making Katie tense and Cody give the host a blank look. He just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"Do you know what I see here? A very undisciplined group" he mentioned in a disappointed tone that made everyone lower their gaze. "And I must say that was AWESOME!" The host finishes with a big smile and arms as wide as possible.

"Wait, what?" was the unanimous question from all the campers.

"When you opened fire on your own team, wicked TV" Chris mentioned, laughing and then pointing at DJ "Throwing another camper off the cliff? I didn't think you had it in you, dude" the host admits while DJ shyly shrinks under the strange looks of others. DJ did what? Meanwhile a soaked Owen was laughing nervously remembering that.

"And whoever came up with those traps, I just have to say thank you for making the challenge more interesting" Chris thanked cheerfully. Obviously, he knew it was Naruto by seeing the cameras, but he didn't want the dude to leave so soon if he was going to bring things like that.

"Hey, has anyone seen Duncan and Courtney?" Harold asks just for the punk to appear carrying a sleeping Courtney on his back.

"Aww, that's so cute," Lindsay squealed at the sight, reaction that was shared with Katie.

"You guys sure didn't waste any time. Congrats, buddy" Geoff gives a thumbs up to the delinquent, who rolls his eyes.

"Don't get any ideas, dude. And, what are the results?" Duncan asks, prompting Chris to point at the Gophers.

"Since the majority of the Gophers are dripping with paint, the result is quite obvious, dude" Chris announces, causing the Bass to celebrate, awakening Courtney.

"Umm... what's going on?" a drowsy Courtney asks.

"Glad you could join us, Courtney" Chris greets, interested in what her reaction would be.

The girl tensed upon hearing that voice, which made her look up to see several other campers giving her sly looks. These looks increased even more when they saw her face turn nuclear red.

She could only give a small squeak before getting off Duncan and running straight to the cabin in complete embarrassment.

(Confession)

"I don't think anyone is going to stop teasing her about that for a good while" Bridgette clarifies with a slight giggle.

*Static*

"She likes him" DJ affirms with a smile.

(Campfire pit - night)

"Well, two defeats in a row, it must suck to be you, Gophers" Chris smiles while Heather gives him a dirty look for saying that.

"Anyway, if you receive ..." Chris was about to continue, but Gwen had enough for today.

"Skip your usual crap. I'm not in the mood, and I just want to go to sleep" Gwen complains, earning a deadpan look from the host.

"Fine, ruin the mood, thank you. Naruto, Lindsay, Beth, you're safe" Chris announces as he throws marshmallows to their relief.

"Owen, Gwen, Heather, you're safe too" Chris announces, relieving them but leaving Leshawna and Cody looking at each other nervously.

"One of you is going home tonight." Chris takes the last marshmallow to address what's left. "The last marshmallow is to..."

Leshawna stares at the marshmallow with a fixed gaze.

On the other hand, Cody clenches his hands with a nervous look.

"Cody" the host concludes, tossing the marshmallow to the boy to the astonished look of Leshawna.

"IS THIS FOR REAL?!" the girl shouts, looking at the rest of her team. On one side, Gwen and Naruto share the same disbelief, Lindsay and Beth shrink at the scream, Owen lets out a scared fart, startling Cody out of shock as he realizes he's still in the game. Meanwhile, Heather looks too calm and pleased, causing Leshawna to open her eyes wide and gasp as she realizes what happened.

"You...!" she was going to continue, but Chef quickly grabs her and takes her to the Boat of Losers due to a silent order from Chris.

"Just look at the time, we must conclude the episode. Sorry for interrupting your final words, Leshawna" the host 'apologizes.'

(Confession)

"No one shoots me without getting their punishment" Heather gloats with a satisfied smile.

"Originally, Cody was supposed to be eliminated, but Leshawna played with fire, and well, she ended up burned" she finishes still with her smile.

*Static*

"It's official, something weird is going on here, and I made the mistake of not taking it seriously before, so I'm going to find out what it is," Gwen mentions with a serious look. She, along with Leshawna and Naruto, decided to vote for Cody, but another group outvoted them, so the others are suspicious of being part of an alliance or at least agreed this time. She's going to find out how to separate them.

(Dock of shame)

"With this, our first human deer hunt comes to an end" Chris announces. "Heather's alliance is being uncovered, love is in the air, and everyone is starting to identify their allies" Chris announces happily.

"What will happen next time? Will the Gophers break free from this bad luck that seems to follow them? Find out next time on TOTAL... DRAMA... ISLAND!" He finishes with the usual zoom, showing a panoramic view of the island.

End of the chapter.

Campers:

Screaming Gophers: Beth, Cody, Gwen, Heather, Lindsay, Naruto, Owen.

Killer Bass: Bridgette, Courtney, DJ, Duncan, Eva, Geoff, Harold, Katie.

Eliminated: Justin, Noah, Sadie, Trent, Tyler, Izzy, Leshawna.

Another changed elimination, this is like the third elimination that Heather is responsible for, and it seems it won't stop soon. Also, poor Gwen, the one who was supposed to help her to hook up with Naruto is now gone, and to make things worse, she has to share room with Heather and her alliance, quite a problematic situation she got herself into.

I'm receiving some PMs about some recommendations on how to do the harem and I'm grateful you are willing to help me out with this, I'm reading all of them and sending answers as fast as possible, so don't worry if you hadn't gotten an answer, I'll get there sooner than later.

And well, if you are curious about how the story is following up and can't wait for the english translation, you can read the original version.

And well, that's it for now from the not so much of a reader now.

I will be reading the reviews, accepting constructive criticism and interesting ideas.

Until next time.

(Killer Bass Cabin)

"Come on, Courtney, it's not the end of the world" Bridgette rolls her eyes at the polite girl who is completely covered by her sheet.

"Speak for yourself. All of Canada saw that. What do you think they'll post on social media after what they just saw?" the girl who still doesn't want to uncover, retorts, completely embarrassed.

Bridgette had to grimace at that; she forgot that those kinds of things could happen when you're on television.

"Okay, I admit I didn't take that into account, but it's not that bad, right, girls?" she asks Eva and Katie.

"Don't drag me into this" Eva clarifies as she meditates on the floor, the less she knows about it, the better.

"Sorry, what are you talking about?" Katie asks while immersed in her own things.

"Umm... Katie, where are you going dressed like that?" Bridgette asks as she notices Katie has changed her outfit. She now wears a black long-sleeved blouse, white jeans, and black flats instead of her pink heels. For once, her shoulder-length hair is let loose.

"I'm just going out with someone" she clarifies a bit nervously, seeing the curious looks of her teammates and cabinmates, even Courtney, who peeked her head out from the sheet.

But before anyone could ask, someone knocked on the door. Reacting quickly, Katie goes to open it, revealing Cody wearing black pants and shoes, a light blue shirt, and carrying a picnic basket. It's worth mentioning that the Geek was left speechless seeing Katie like that, eliciting a few giggles from her.

"Thanks for the compliment, Cody. You look good too" the girl admits, making the Geek react a bit embarrassed at how he was staring.

"Umm... Shall we?" he asks, offering his arm for Katie to gladly accept, and they leave, leaving the three others in silence.

"Who would've thought that the little guy had it in him?" Eva breaks the silence, with Bridgette and Courtney nodding with an incredulous look.

"Huh, it seems I was right" the surfer girl spoke to herself.
