Cersei opened her eyes, a languid tiredness filled her entire being, her limbs felt leaden, but deliciously so as she lay in the furs of the bed. She turned over, reaching out with an arm for Ned, but he was not there, she levered herself up on her elbows, seeing the door to the bedchamber open she cold here someone moving about in the outer room.
"Ned?" she called out.
"Out here Cersei" came the response "I have things for us to break our fast, if you would join me?"
Cersei stretched, feeling her joints pop and her muscles ache pleasantly, and she sat up in the bed, her eyes searching in the gloom for something to wear, she spied the cloak that Ned had thrown over her shoulders yesterday and she climbed out of bed. A dull ache throbbed between her legs, a memory of the activities of last night, and a flush sprang across her upper chest as heated visions flashed past her inner eye.
She shrugged on the cloak, wrapping it around her, feeling the soft wolf fur nuzzle her neck and face and she left the bedchamber and stepped into the outer room, what Ned had referred to as the lounge.
Her husband, her mouth quirked at that, was standing dressed in only a lose pair of britches and he was distributing plates and dishes on a table, a fire was burning merrily in the grate of the fireplace and the air was very pleasantly warm. She stopped a moment to gaze upon him, this northern man who she had married and who last night had taken her body to places she had never even dreamed possible. A man whose body made Jamie's golden perfection seem childlike, frail, pathetic even...
"Good morning" grinned Ned at her, gesturing to her to sit at the table.
"Good morning my Lord Husband" Cersei replied, her mouth twisting into a slight smile "What is that smell?" she asked, a slightly acrid scent hung in the room.
"Wakebean, my Lady Wife, something I came across in Kings Landing, a product of the Summer Isles and just the thing to help one wake up after a long nights sleep..."
"Ha!" she retorted, grinning at Ned.
"Well anyway, I brought some with me from Kings Landing, would you care to try some?"
"What is it?"
"It's a drink, the wakebean is roasted first, then ground down to a fine paste, boiled with water and sieved and the resultant liquid drank with milk or cream, sugar would also be good, but that's even more expensive than the wakebean..."
"I'll try some Ned."
"Good, let me see, we have some fresh bread, cheese, ham, cured sausage, bacon, fried eggs, fried sausage, hashed potatoes...small beer to drink"
"I'll have some bread and cheese Ned, and some of that wakebean juice of yours. No servants to serve us?"
"Nope, I just had them deliver the food, gives us some privacy...plus the Great Hall is probably still a shambles after last night, you know the Umber's, they can get messy with drink onboard..."
"I don't know how you put up with them Ned, I mean my father would..."
"Your father does not rule here, I do. Your father is not Warden of the North, I am. The Umber's have stood with House Stark for thousands of years since the War for the Dawn, they are trusted allies. So they get a bit boisterous now and then, so what?" Ned had a smile on his lips as he said that, but his eyes were cold.
Cersei dropped her eyes from his stare, arranging her food, Ned then poured her a cup of the wakebean juice. She took a sip and coughed "Ned! How could you drink that, it's, it's horrible...!"
"I admit it's an acquired taste Cersei, plus I'm sure there are better bean's out there somewhere, I hope..."
Ned arranged his own food on his plate and began eating, working his way through everything while she just chewed her bread and accepted a glass of small beer to drink to replace the wakebean juice that she could not drink.
Even just sitting there and eating Cersei could feel the almost magnetic pull of desire beginning to pulse through her, slowly at first, but steadily building. She sighed in frustration, she was probably too sore to do anything about this increasing arousal, though she supposed she could just take Ned into her mouth again. The thoughts of wrapping her lips around Ned's pillar sent delicious shivers over her skin, she closed her eyes and let a soft moan escape her lips but as she daydreamed she heard Ned get up and return to the bedroom. She got up, noticing that Ned had finished all his food and she followed him, a heat building inside her; she followed him into what was called the Lords Dressing Room, a much smaller space than hers she noticed with amusement.
Ned was pulling on clothes, good sturdy leathers, she pouted at what this meant, and she slowly opened the cloak, waiting for Ned to see what she had done.
He soon did, raising an eyebrow.
Cersei smiled back at him, opening the clasps at the front slowly and letting the cloak fall to the floor at her feet.
Ned kept his eyes on her as he finished dressing and he took two steps to her, enfolding her in his arms and bending down to kiss her.
She opened her mouth and thrust her tongue into Ned's mouth, and retracted it as his snaked into her mouth, to whirl and clash in her mouth. She melted against him, began to start tugging at his clothes.
He pulled his head back and broke the kiss "Ah no Cersei, I have a lot of work to do today..."
"Ned!" she pouted "Please?" she asked in the most seductive voice that she knew "I want you in my mouth" she moaned as she dropped to her knees and began to fumble with his trousers.
Ned reached down and gripped her under her arms and pulled her to her feet, a snort of frustration escaping her lips.
"Not now Cersei, pleasurable and all that I'm sure that it would be, but I really have work to do...Ladies!" he called out, and Cersei heard her Ladies in Waiting trot into the lounge.
"In here" Ned announced, as they came in, she noticed that the two of them looked rather dazed, their eyes slightly glazed and their faces flushed.
"The Lady of Winterfell needs her bath drawn and to be clothed for the day, see to it."
"Yes my Lord" the two of them replied Cersei could hear the breathlessness in their voices, see their chests heave slightly as the gulped down air like they were drowning.
