Chapter 2

As Ash and his companions journey towards Otem Town, he finds himself engrossed in updates on his Rotom Phone, scouring for any news about the traitors. Misty, having joined her sisters in mesmerizing water performances, has made her gym renowned throughout Kanto for its unique charm. Meanwhile, Brock has flourished into a widely respected doctor, offering aid to anyone in need with his vast medical expertise.

May continues to hold the prestigious title of the Princess of Hoenn, admired for her grace and skill in Pokémon contests. Similarly, Dawn's talent shines bright, although both have faced near victories in Grand Festivals, falling just short in the Top 4 or Top 2 spots. Over in Unova, Iris maintains her reign as the undefeated Champion, unchallenged except by Ash, who, despite his prowess, declined the title in the end. Cilan, recognized for his refined taste and knowledge, was invited to undertake the S Rank Connoisseur test but opted to expand his expertise before accepting such a prestigious role.

Clemont's inventions have evolved to be safer, earning him a reputation as a reliable inventor whom many seek for innovative solutions. Mallow, Kiawe, Lana, and Sophocles thrive as Trial Captains, their trials influenced by Ash's guidance, even though the totems harbor disdain due to their past actions against Ash.

On another note, Trip has made notable strides in various Leagues, achieving Runner Up in Kanto and reaching the Top 8 in Johto, showcasing his growth and determination.

"Seems like they're all doing quite well," Ash reflects, "but one wonders how long their streak of good fortune will endure."

Meanwhile, Serena maintains her status as the esteemed Kalos Queen, yet her escalating fame has led her to prioritize her public image over her friendships. This shift in her attitude, particularly her willingness to criticize Ash on public platforms, doesn't sit well with Alice, who harbors a deep dislike for such behavior.

Outside of their respective regions, Ash's close friends and rivals are also making significant strides. Goh remains dedicated to his Mew Project but occasionally lends his expertise and support to Ash and those who stand by him. Meanwhile, Ash's rivals have been thriving in their own journeys across different regions.

Now, the Champions and the Kalos Queen gather for a crucial meeting aboard a grand cruise ship, assembling their finest battlers or performers. Kanto's Champion Adam, whose surname remains a mystery, selects Gary Oak and the skilled trainer Leaf Green. Johto's Champion Lance opts for Ethan and the determined Lyra. Hoenn's Champion Steven Stone enlists the powerful Brandon and the enigmatic Zinnia. Sinnoh's Champion Cynthia partners with the formidable Paul and the capable Akari. Unova's Champion Iris allies with the accomplished Trip and the spirited Bianca. Kalos's Champion Diantha chooses the fierce Alain and the resourceful Bonnie. Alola's Champion Lillie picks the steadfast Gladion and the talented Selene. Galar's Champion Leon teams up with the spirited Hop and the determined Gloria. Paldea's Champion Geeta selects the dynamic duo of Nemona and Arven. Finally, the Kalos Queen Serena chooses the experienced May and the determined Dawn to join her ranks.

During this meeting, alliances are drawn, with Adam, Lance, Diantha, and Lillie aligning themselves with Ash, while the rest take opposing stances. It's important to note that the trainers chosen by the Champions aren't necessarily aligned with their respective Champion's position, as seen with Paul.

As the meeting progresses, Goodshow enters the room, bringing news from the Sevestar Region provided by Professor Chloe. Present in the meeting are all the Champions, Elite Four members, and Kalos Queen Serena. The remaining trainers chosen by the Champions are with their friends, as they are not part of the official meeting proceedings.

"So are these people powerful?" Sidney raises his hand and asks, curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

"All I can say is that you can never imagine the extent of their power, especially that of the Champion," Goodshow responds, his words causing a collective shudder among the audience at the meeting.

"So, I assume they are all capable of Mega Evolution, Z Moves, and Dynamax?" Leon inquires, seeking clarification.

"Yes, and not only that, these individuals are renowned for their prowess in various other aspects, so you might already be familiar with them. However, what you might not know is that they are esteemed members of the Sevestar Elites," Goodshow elaborates.

"Let's delve into the first member, Eve Urup. Besides being a teacher, she holds the prestigious title of Professor," Goodshow continues, displaying a picture of Eve for everyone to see. "Had she not taken up the Elite Four position, she would have undoubtedly been the region's foremost Professor. Her research papers delve deeply into Legendary Pokémon, making her one of the few who have encountered every Legendary and Mythical Pokémon in existence."

"I've come across her theories in several academic works. They are truly fascinating," Cynthia remarks, recalling her readings.

"Indeed, Eve's theories have even served as inspiration for numerous films, such as 'Nightmare Begins' and 'The War of Truth and Ideals,'" Diantha adds, emphasizing the profound impact of Eve's work.

"What is her elite rank?" Drake interjects, seeking more specific information.

"Eve is considered the least formidable among the Elite Four members. She specializes in the dual types of Grass and Dark," Goodshow explains, seamlessly transitioning to introduce the next member of the Sevestar Elites.

"This is Drandon Ryuto, also known as the Dragon Knight of the Dragon Foursome. He is renowned for wielding his shield with unparalleled skill, protecting everyone from the wrath of the fiercest dragons," Goodshow introduces, his voice carrying a hint of awe.

"He's the Dragon Knight?" Lance exclaims in surprise, his interest piqued. The Dragon Foursome's members often conceal their identities behind masks, making Drandon's unmasking a rare occurrence.

"I thought the Dragon Foursome were mere legends..." Dransa voices her disbelief, her eyes widening.

"They are very much real, primarily residing in Sevestar. Drandon specializes in the Dragon and Flying types, showcasing remarkable prowess in both. Outside of his duties, he's also a well-known model," Goodshow elaborates, shedding light on Drandon's multifaceted talents.

"Even though he holds the title of Dragon Knight, I harbor a desire to face the Dragon Princess instead. I aim to claim her title," Iris declares, her eyes gleaming with ambition and a thirst for challenge.

"Moving on to the next elite member, we have Mark Satoshi," Goodshow announces, prompting a slight raise of Adam's eyebrow, indicating his intrigue.

"Isn't he the one who dominated the triathlon a few years back? I recall he was the fastest swimmer and runner, excelling in various sports," Kahili remarks, her memory serving her well.

"That's correct. Due to his athletic prowess, Mark specializes in the Fighting and Water types. Additionally, he is the owner of the FS Resort chain, with establishments scattered across the globe," Goodshow elaborates, shedding light on Mark's impressive achievements and business ventures.

"You must be joking," Steven gasps, a hint of astonishment in his voice. He is well aware of the FS Resort chain's widespread popularity and financial success, making Mark's accomplishments all the more impressive and surprising.

"And finally, our last elite member," Goodshow announces, revealing a captivating video of Alice showcasing her talent in a contest on stage.

"Oh my goodness! Is that Aurora Urup? She's part of the Elite?" Phoebe gasps, her astonishment mirrored by the others in the room.

"She's absolutely stunning," several of the male attendees remark, clearly captivated by Alice's beauty, while others like Cynthia, Serena, and Iris shoot subtle glares towards the screen.

"Aurora is Eve's sister and boasts an impressive array of professions. She's a Top Coordinator, a model, an actress, a singer, a stylist, and much more," Goodshow explains, eliciting widened eyes and murmurs of disbelief from the audience.

"How does she manage to juggle so many roles?" Rika wonders aloud, expressing the shared astonishment of many.

"With her exceptional abilities, Aurora can excel in any endeavor she chooses. She is the most formidable among the Elite Four and specializes in the Ghost and Ice types. Moreover, she holds the esteemed title of Princess of Sevestar," Goodshow reveals, further emphasizing Alice's exceptional status.

"So, Sevestar is a principality?" Bruno seeks clarification, receiving a confirming nod from Goodshow.

"Imagine the influence and power she wields in that region," Shauntal remarks, the gravity of Aurora's position not lost on anyone in the room.

"Lastly, we have the esteemed Champion," Goodshow announces, showcasing video footage of Ash and Pikachu's impressive battle against Alice's Ninetales.

"He's Red Satoshi, Mark's elder brother, known for his exceptional achievements, including winning nine Leagues over the years and playing a pivotal role in dismantling Team Rocket, earning him the moniker 'Silent Hero'," Goodshow explains, emphasizing Ash's illustrious background.

"He's also the current Sevestar Prince and holds a significant position as the president of the RPA, overseeing all aspects of the Sevestar Region. His influence and power are vast, making him someone to watch closely," Goodshow continues, highlighting Ash's multifaceted roles and responsibilities.

"Wow, he's quite handsome," Catlin remarks, her sentiment echoed by the other girls in the room, who nod in agreement.

Serena's gaze lingers on Red Satoshi's face, a determined glint in her eyes as she silently resolves to make him hers, her thoughts veiled behind a facade of composed expression.

"So, you're saying May will be here too?" A boy with Oxford Blue hair and glasses sits in front of Ash, his name is Max Maple, Ash's former travel companion in the Hoenn Region and the current Fighting Type Gym Leader in the Sevestar Region.

Max had been deeply affected by the news of Ash allegedly killing his mother, refusing to believe the accusations. Despite his protests, his parents sided with May's version of events, leading Max to run away from home. Through a wish granted by Jirachi, he found himself on Sevestar Island and under Ash's mentorship to become a gym leader at the FS Resort's Sevestar Branch. This strained relationship with his family fueled resentment towards Ash, as Max was made to feel abandoned and blamed for his actions.

In contrast, Bonnie's father stands by Ash's innocence, causing a rift in their family dynamic. Clemont opts to stay at Lumiose Tower instead of returning home, and tensions rise as Meyer and Bonnie also distance themselves from Clemont due to differing beliefs regarding Ash's character. Despite the challenges, they offer Ash mental support and assistance, aware of the injustice he faces in the eyes of others.

Ash has seven siblings, including Mark, Minami, Golly, Trenor, Insey, Lillie, and Gladion. Their family was once happy until Team Rocket's attack tore them apart. Mark, Trenor, and Insey were separated, Minami was kidnapped, and Golly tragically lost her life. Ash's father is missing, presumed dead, leaving Delia and Ash to face these trials alone. However, fate reunites them after many hardships: Mark is found in peril at a resort, Minami is rescued from a stasis tank, Golly's spirit is revived in Lavender Town's Pokémon Tower, Insey is saved from poachers, and Trenor is discovered in an orphanage. Despite their struggles, they unite to support Ash, who is framed for their mother's murder.

In the midst of these challenges, Ash's family expands as they adopt Lillie and Gladion. Lillie rises to become the Alola Champion, reclaiming Ash's title after he is falsely accused. Meanwhile, Gladion takes on the role of president at Aether Paradise, demonstrating his leadership and dedication.

Ash's girlfriend, Alice, enters his life during a chance encounter in the Pokémon Village in Kalos. She is the daughter of Gym Leaders Valerie and Wulfric, adding another layer to their connection. Despite Alice's past hardships and struggles, Ash stands by her side, offering unwavering support and care. Their relationship blossoms over time, culminating in mutual confessions of love. However, Ash's hesitations due to past betrayals, particularly from Serena, linger in their relationship. Nevertheless, both Alice and Ash vow to save each other, demonstrating their deep commitment and determination to overcome any obstacles together.

And here is a new chapter, as you can see, I made some Love and Despair references in this story and some backstory that you can actually find in the Normal Version of the story. I have listed the trainers chosen by the Champions or Serena to challenge the League of Sevestar, and this will be a little different from the other stories I've written so far. I hope you like this chapter.
