"Good work today, class," Marinette said, dismissing her art class for the day. Marinette hummed as she cleaned up the jars of paint and brushes, as her Kwami, Tikki, looked out the window.

"Wow, looks like there's a storm brewing out there!" Marinette joined her at the window, just as the first drops were beginning to fall. "Its just a spring shower," she assured her. "But we did promise Adrien we'd meet him at Starbucks."

Tikki giggled. "I love how your engaged, and he still takes you on dates." "Yeah," Marinette sighed, dreamily. "Now, have you seen my umbrella?"

The pair looked everyone around the small studio, but no umbrella was to be found. "Good thing I have this hoodie. Come on, let's go."

Of course I would forget the umbrella, Marinette thought to herself as she walked to the steps of school. She paused in the doorway, the memories flooding back. It was on these steps that in a clap of thunder, she'd fallen in love with Adrien Agreste.

"May I offer my Lady a umbrella?" A voice broke into her thoughts. "Adrien!' Marinette gasped in surprise. "I saw it was raining, and I didn't want you to get wet on your walk. Your sweet enough already." Marinette blushed, ducking under the umbrella. "Aw, Kitty. I'm not made of sugar, so I wouldn't melt."

"Shall we?" Adrien offered her his arm. They walked through the park slowly, admiring the blossoming cherry blossoms on the trees. "I love the rain," Adrien said, softly. "That kinda surprises me. I mean, aren't cats supposed to hate water?" Adrien stepped closer to her. "Some maybe, but I love the rain, for its when you and I became friends." Marinette saw her partner shivered, and pulled him close.

"Here, I have something that will warm you up," she said, and her lips met his. Under the umbrella, Adrien and Marinette kissed, just two lovers in the rain, loving the warmth of a gentle kiss.
