So this is a nice fun chapter today. But I want to warn everyone things are about yo be very very difficult for me for a while. I may Update I may not. I will read the reviews and I really really need the boost at the moment but I probably wont reply for a while as I'm spending every day in the hospital with my nan.

I want you all to understand why because this is important to me and all of my readers are also. As some may remember from last March my nan had cancer- she had mastectomy and we believed she was cancer free but we've now found that it metastasised before the surgery into the brain and we didn't know. From what we've been told she is dying. Its a matter of time and I don't believe it'll be long.

I was visiting to help my Grandfather who was sick when all this started. I never expected all of this. I am devastated but focusing on being with her.

Thank you guys for understanding.

Percy had enjoyed the time at Camp Halfblood. It had been fun, spending more time with the other demigods, who had been eager to accept her into their ranks fully, much to Chiron's exasperation- he might approve to a degree but she doubted he'd been happy when Percy had attempted to climb the lava wall again. He'd had to grab her and inform her that she would not in fact be allowed to do so as she couldn't be trusted after her stunt during her last visit to camp.

This had disappointed everyone- especially the Stolls who had smuggled her the rollerskates she'd planned on using.

The look on Chiron's face when he'd saw what she had hooked to her belt had been comical and Annabeth had dragged her off by the ear promising the Centaur that she'd keep 'her girls' in line.

The her girls comment had mainly been because Piper had dared Percy to do it blindfolded and had planned on filming the whole thing.

She'd met Blackjack again too. The Pegasi had been more than happy to see her, and she'd enjoyed the flight she'd went on with him, skimming low over the waves of the ocean as fish and other creatures of the sea came close to the surface to get a glimpse of the long lost daughter of the Sea.

It was a wonderful feeling, though maybe not quite as perfect as the feeling of Piper and Annabeth's arms around her and their lips on hers when she'd returned to the beach afterwards.

And of course there had been one of the major highlights.

Capture the Flag.

Annabeth had successfully convinced Chiron that it would be a good idea to test the four Big three kids against the rest of the Camp. He'd been curious as to what they were capable of.

It had been incredibly fun.

Percy had been the leader of her team- which made sense given that she was the oldest and the most experienced.

The only reason the game hadn't been over before the first hour was up was the fact that Annabeth was leading the other team with Piper as her second in command. They knew Percy and her tactics, or they knew better than most how she thought. And they knew that the main threat with Percy was her flexibility and ability to wing it.

In the end Percy's team won, with Nico sneaking in to get the Flag unseen while Percy, Thalia and Bianca ruthlessly took down anyone who came their way.

There had been one moment when it had been close- Piper had managed to charmspeak Thalia into handing over their flag but Percy had intervened just in time.

And really they'd only flooded half of the forest and Percy had fixed all of the damage with her magic. Really she didn't think that it had gone that badly at all. She'd been very careful really.

It wasn't fair at all for Chiron to give that tired sigh and proclaim that Egyptian Magic would not be allowed unless specifically stated. Honestly a girl summoned up one giant geyser of water from the ground with magic and knocked down a few trees. It wasn't like she'd meant to cause damage.

The trip was definitely worth it though. Percy liked Camp. It would never be home but she liked it- and she'd managed to appropriate a small Egyptian Statue to keep in her Cabin, to make travel that much easier.

She knew she'd enjoy the future visits. It would never be a home to her like it was to many of the campers but it was already shaping up to be somewhere important to her. Which was good for the Greeks given what she tended to do when people tried to destroy things she loved.

Still, she was glad to be home as well. Even if it was annoying having to do school work at home. Sally had paid for the rebuilding of the school but it couldn't be done overnight, and the fire had been too publicised to magic people into forgetting it had happened so they could fix it up overnight with magic.

There had been a bit of fuss when Percy had reappeared in public but she'd brushed it off, explaining that she'd been ushered to safety and kept inside for a week or so as there had been some concerns it was connected to crazier than average fans, though those concerns had turned out to be groundless.

Thalia had declared that she was one of the best actresses in history after that performance, a grin on her lips as she did.

She hadn't been so happy when Sally had sternly told her that if she was staying in Brooklyn House she would be joining the rest of the kids at school. Though she'd been a little less annoyed when Bianca had told her that Sally would be sure to make sure they were in the same classes.

There had been a weird level of tension at first when Kya had met Thalia but they seemed to have put aside their differences. Percy wasn't entirely sure what it had all been about but as long as things were settled she'd decided it was not her job to stress about it.

In any case, the temporary homeschooling was good for one thing. It meant that they didn't have any sort of set schedule. They could stay up until they were tired and they could wake up when they wanted until they were back at school as long as they did the work. Which they did, Annabeth made sure that her girlfriends were on top of their assignments and she often badgered the younger kids into doing theirs too. It had been comical watching Annabeth glaring down Thalia until she'd reluctantly opened the workbook with grumbled complaints about how it wasn't fair that Annabeth was older than her now and she wanted to file a formal complaint.

That had earned her a disapproving look from Annabeth and Thalia had just groaned and buried her face in her book.

Still, Percy had managed to do all of her school work and she was chasing some of the younger kids around the house- supposedly for training as she'd told Carter. She was testing their battle reflexes. She'd even roped Luke into joining her.

She was pretty proud of how Luke was settling honestly. He was still very clearly lost at times- she couldn't blame him for that. He had been in camp with no direction, no plans for his future for so long, thanks in no small part to Kronos' manipulations. All Luke had thought about for the future was the rise of Kronos and his role in it. Now he was having to face the reality of a life without that. Of having to decide what to do with his life.

But Percy and Sally had both made it clear to him that he didn't have to make any decisions. He needed time. Time to process his traumas. Time to make sense of himself and his emotions. And Percy knew that there was still a lot he had locked away that he wouldn't talk about or acknowledge. It was a sad reality but a reality, nevertheless. Even if Percy would find a way to get him to open up some more. It just took time.

They had just caught Shelby- who had pulled off a rather cunning move and managed to jump from the upper floor railings onto Luke's back, sending him sprawling before Percy had managed to contain her, when there was a loud knock on the door.

Percy set the girl down before moving towards it, humming to herself, Luke a few steps behind her as she opened it, freezing when her gaze focused on three familiar figures.

"Artemis? Zo? Lord Apollo?"

"Well hello princess-"

"Brother!" Artemis smacked said golden haired god over the head. "Stop that. I shouldn't have let you come."

"Uh- not that I'm complaining but what are you doing here Artemis?"

"You mentioned something about a movie you wished for me to see? I believe you called it Shrek? Zoe wished to accompany me when I informed her where I was going-" that got a small smile and a nod from Zoe, "And my annoying brother followed me."

"Wounded. I'm wounded-"

"Are you saying you haven't seen Shrek? Zoe I can believe but you?"

"Oh I've seen it gorg-Ouch! Arty get your lieutenant to stop pinching me."

"Thou should stop being such a fool."

"I happen to approve of Zoe's actions." Artemis almost managed to keep a straight face, though there was a very slight twitch of her lips. "He wanted to come to annoy me I am sure."

"You-" Luke blinked, "You actually came?"

"Percy did say about it. It would be rude to not at least visit."

And Percy couldn't help but smile slightly. It seemed that becoming a goddess again hadn't changed the genuine bond of friendship they'd formed during their adventures. Artemis didn't see them as beneath her. She saw them as friends, as equals, at least to a degree. And it must be kind of hard. Lonely even. Sure she had her hunters but even Zoe wasn't her equal. But Percy and Luke were in a way.

"Well I'm glad you remembered Artemis." Percy said warmly, glancing sidelong at Luke.

This could actually be good for him too.

She knew he still hated most of the gods. Which wasn't exactly unfounded but it could do a lot of good for him to spend time around two of the less assholish gods. To see them as more than cruel distant beings who used them as pawns in their games.

"I don't have anything on this evening."

"I have nothing on ever at the moment." Luke snorted, "So I guess I'm free."

"I have a giant TV in my room." Percy's voice was slow. And the bed is ginormous, we could all sit on it to watch the movie. And mom has a batch of pretty fresh cookies."

"Cookies?" Apollo leaned forward, "That sounds good."

"You did speak highly of your mothers cookies." Zoe added, a hopeful look on her face."

"Well it's settled then." Percy rubbed her hands together. "We'll get your formal Shrekucation started-"

"Shrekucation?" Luke looked at her like she was insane. "You- gods above I can't believe I'm doing this. I'm about to watch Shrek with a god and a goddess."

"Yes, yes you are." Percy paused before, "You go find Annabeth, Pipes, Thalia, Bianca and Nico. Ask Thals, Bia and Neeks if they've ever watched it see if they want to join, ooh, and Tyson, ask Ty too. I know Pipes and Annabeth will."

"Sir yes sir-"

"Don't you get snippy with me Lukey." Percy shot back, kicking his ankle, "Go. Shoo. Off with you."

She watched him dart off and then turned back to Artemis, Zoe and Apollo.

"I'll have to formally invite you two in- magical wards you know how it is. Artemis, Apollo you may enter Brooklyn House."

And together the three newcomers stepped past the boundary into the house, all of them looking around curiously.

Which made sense. It was probably the first time a Greek god had stepped inside of one of the Egyptian Nomes. Even Hades had stayed outside.

"Right." Percy rubbed her hands together. "You two come with me. I think we start by gathering the blue cookies and some drinks. Any preferences? I'm thinking some soda's."

"That sounds perfect my he-"

"That will do fine." Artemis had slapped a hand over Apollo's mouth. Again. "And once again I ask that you ignore the idiot."

"My pleasure." Percy couldn't help her little grin. "Come on. All three of you. This is gonna be great."
