Even though they had been running for a short time, Solgaleo didn't feel tired in the slightest. It almost felt like protecting Reshiram was keeping him going.
"Umm… excuse me but-" He heard Reshiram speak. "Why are you helping me?"
"Oh?" Solgaleo shrugged. "No particular reason."
Some of the Braviary and Unfezent had landed in front of them. Reshiram tensed, but Solgaleo didn't worry. He let go of Reshiram and started fighting back. One of them shot a Wing Attack at him, which he dogged quickly and shot back Flash Cannon. Before the others could strike back, Solgaleo used Sunsteel Strike. The light from his attack illuminated the area. This was enough for all of them to retreat.
Solgaleo paused. His heart was pounding and he was breathing heavily.
He heard Reshiram shriek and immediately he turned around. Kyurem had Reshiram in his grasp while she was thrashing to get out. Solgaleo ran over to attack, but more Golurk and Beartic surrounded him. Too many of them to fight at once.
"I'm afraid I have to end this right now." He said coldly. "I have no time for this nonsense here."
"Put her down Kyurem!" Solgaleo exclaimed. He tried running to her, but the Golurk kept him from going any further. Kyurem turned away from him. "I need to leave now. I must become the Original Dragon once again." He walked away from Solgaleo and started to fly away.
Reshiram had enough time- however- to unleash a flame that was absorbed out from her. She sent it over to Solgaleo, and he let it absorb into him as he watched it come. He wasn't sure what it was, but he was sure that it was related to the Original Dragon.
"Don't worry Reshiram, I'll save you!" He called after her. "Just you wait!"
He could see Reshiram smile lightly before she was too far away from him. The Golurk and Beartic left to go after Kyruem, leaving Solgaleo alone, a heavy weight in his chest.
