Danny paced around his room, trying to stay calm. He sometimes found himself phasing through things, like the floor and his bed. Other times he would disappear on the spot. He really hoped that Charlie and Emily would help him.

"Daniel!"

Danny blinked as he saw a strange girl with six wings and a halo above her head phasing through his bedroom wall.

"Are you okay?"

Danny turned to see another girl standing in his doorway. However, he quickly noticed who they were.

"Charlie? Emily?" He asked.

Both Girls blinked before noticing each other. All three friends just looked at each other, lost and completely confused.

"WHAT HAPPEN TO US?!" All three shouted.

Five Minutes later,

"Okay let me see if I got this right..." Danny said after the three calmed down.

"You found a headband with an eye on it and when you put it on, you because like this?" He asked Emily.

"And you found this weird apple that told you to bite into it and became like this?" She asked Charlie.

"And you want to make your parents happy by trying to turn on the portal, only to end up like this?" She asked Danny.

They looked at each other before Danny sighed.

"This is really weird." He said.

"Weird? I think we're way past weird, Danny." Charlie said, shaking her head.

"Does anyone know how to shut these off?" Emily asked, seeing both of her friends shake their heads.

"I have been trying to keep myself under control since I first woke up with these powers," Danny said.

"I'm too busy trying to figure out what that apple was," Charlie added.

Emily had to think. There was no way they were stuck like this. However, she took a breath and relaxed. She closed her eyes before Danny and Charlie saw a huge eye appear on her chest and her halo. Suddenly, Emily's wings slowly fade away. Her halo slowly turned into a headband again, only the eye was gone. And even changed out of her dress. She was now wearing a white T-shirt with blue jeans. She even had white sneakers on. Her skin also turned back to normal as her hair became shorter.

When she opened her eyes, she noticed she looked different. Danny and Charlie were shocked.

"How did you do that?" Danny asked, surprised.

"Yeah, you looked human again," Charlie added.

"Well, I just relaxed and let my powers run through me," Emily said, unsure of what happened.

Taking a breath, Charlie and Danny did the same thing. Like Emily, Charlie also faded back to normal, now wearing a red shirt and black jeans. She even had black Mary shoes on her feet along with leg-high stockings.

Danny, on the other, had a flash and white ring appear from him, partly blinding the girls. The ring split, turning him back to normal as well. When he saw that he was back to normal, he sighed.

"Whew, I'm human again." He said.

Charlie was about to say something before she felt something in her pocket. She reached into it and pulled out the apple she found.

"Huh? Where did this...?" Charlie asked, shocked.

"Daughter of Morningstar. The power of the Devil is now yours. Use it freely."

"Did that snake just talk?" Dany asked.

"And did it just say that the DEVIL powers are yours?" Emily added.

"Where did my dad find this?" Charlie asked, just as confused as her friends.

Danny looked to speak before a blue whisp appeared out of his mouth, confusing all three of them.

"What was that?" Charlie asked.

The room suddenly grew cold as a ghost appeared out of the floor, roaring at them. They looked shocked before the snake on the apple spoke again.

"A being from another world had crossed over. Daughter of Morningstar. Use your birthright to punish it."

Charlie looked at the apple before looking at her friends. She then bit into the apple. She turned into her demon form, only without her painful ways. Emily was unsure of what to do herself but decided to try to transform the same way she changed back. She soon turned into her angel form, surprising her a bit. Danny stood up, feeling something in him telling him to use it. When he did, the white rings appeared and turned him into his ghost form.

"Whoa! It worked!" He said, surprised.

"Let's figure out our powers later!" Charlie said as the ghost looked at them.

"This was what I was afraid of," Emily added.

The three stood ready, facing the ghost. It soon roared and went on the attack. The three started to fight back, now knowing they would become the protectors of Amity Park.

One month Later,

"So, Danny," Jack said, facing his son and his friends.

Danny shook his head as his father dragged him and the girls down to the lab. Since that day, the three agreed to tell no one else about their powers. Charlie even stated that she returned the apple a few times, only to find it in her pocket a few minutes later. Emily stated that Sera was starting to have less work than before, but she still didn't notice anything new about her. So she kept the headband.

"You and your little friends want to hunt ghosts?" Jack asked.

"Uh, actually, Dad? I want to be an astronaut." Danny said.

"And I'm already working on my hotel," Charlie added.

"I'm still uneasy about the whole thing." Emily finished.

"Well, if you do want to hunt ghosts, there are a few things you need to learn," Jack said, facing away.

Danny sighed before his ghost sense, as he and the girls came to call it, appeared. Two octopus ghosts floated out. Before Charlie and Emily could transform, they were grabbed before Danny went ghost and started to fight them. All while Jack was completely unaware.

"True, I've never seen a ghost, but when I do, I'll be prepared," Jack said.

"And so will you. Whether you want to be or not." He added.

"It all starts with your equipment." He added, not hearing the fight behind him and seeing Charlie and Emily being flung back into their seats.

"Charlie, Emily, this is the Fenton Thermos." He said, handing the said thermos to Charlie.

"It's supposed to trap ghosts, but since it doesn't work yet it's just a thermos. A thermos with the word "Fenton" in front of it." Jack said, not seeing the ghost flying behind him.

The octopus ghosts looked defeated and dizzy and flew back into the portal. Danny stood back in his human form as he stood in front of the portal. He quickly notices that his father is starting to turn toward the portal and jumps away.

"And that? That is the Fenton Portal. It releases ghosts into our world whether I want it to or not. And someday, I'll figure out how that works too. Now, who wants to hunt some ghosts?" Jack finished.

Danny was panted as Charlie and Emily quickly checked on him. They both felt guilty that Danny had to deal with the ghosts by himself.

"You kids, look at you! You're too excited to speak! So I'll just go on speaking. I was born many years ago in a log cabin in the woods. Don't exactly remember where, but I do remember I wanted a pony. Never got the pony. As a matter of fact, we had to eat horse meat during the war. I had a problem with that." He said.

The three just sighed. It has been a long month.

Casper High, the next day,

Danny enters the school after another close call with his parents. And Jazz still trying to act like an adult. It was like she was trying to break away from her family. He looked for Charlie and Emily before spotting Tucker and Sam.

He and Tucker grew close over the month, becoming friends. Sam, on the other hand, was still trying to free Danny from Charlie's and Emily's control. Danny had to keep defending them, reminding Sam that they saved his life by doing the right thing, but she refused to listen.

"Did your sister drop you off?" Tucker asked.

"Yep." Danny nods.

"Huh, she's never done that before," Tucker said.

"Tell me about it." Danny sighs before remembering what happened this morning.

"Sorry, Tuck, but I need to talk to Charlie and Emily about something. Catch you later?" He told him.

"Hey, it's cool man. Catch you later." Tucker said, sharing a first bump with him.

Danny nodded and went over to Charlie and Emily, not seeing Sam glare at them.

"Hey, girls," Danny said, walking up to them.

"Hey, Danny. How are you?" Charlie asked.

"Still trying to get ahold of my powers. It's been a month since the accident, and I still have barely any control! If somebody catches me, I go from geek to freak around here!" He said, not noticing he was sinking through the floor.

Charlie and Emily grabbed him and pulled him back up. Danny groans as he reforms his lowly body.

"No better than me. That snake won't shut up about using my birthright to punish everyone I come across. It's driving me crazy!" Charlie said, looking close to pulling out her hair.

"And I can't help but get a third person of something because the eyeball won't stay hidden," Emily added, sighing.

While the three got a bit used to their new powers, there were a lot of drawbacks. Still, they did their best to put up with them. They started to walk down the hall, all three of them sighing.

"If my dad can invent something that accidentally made me half-ghost, why can't he invent something that turns me back to normal?" Danny said, unknowingly walking through a snack machine.

Danny had a much harder time accepting his powers than Charlie and Emily. While the girls got a better idea of how their powers work, Danny was more worried about how other people would treat him. To Charlie and Emily, it reminds them how they first met Danny.

"Daniel, remember what we told you?" Emily said, running up.

"It doesn't matter what others think. You are your own person." Charlie added.

Danny smiles. He never forgot that. It was one of the reasons he liked being around them. The other was due to his crush on both of them.

"I know. You're right. It's just really hard when you have parents go on and on about ghosts being evil." Danny said, sighing.

Emily rolled her eyes. She still didn't like that. What in the world made the Fentons think all ghosts were evil? She tried to talk to them but they thought she had no idea what Ghosts were like.

"Well, the bell is about to ring. See you at lunchtime?" Charlie said, making the other two nod.

They headed to their classes, not knowing this day would change more than their lives.

And ending here. So, the three meet up and learn a few things so far. And since I have done it a few times before, I'm rewriting Mystery Meat. Though you all can tell it's being highly rewritten since Danny isn't friends with Tucker and Sam, so they have no idea about his powers. And yeah, Danny and Tucker became friends, though not on the same level as Charlie and Emily since they have been friends for over two years. And Sam still doesn't trust Charlie and Emily.

And to answer everyone's question about Emily's last name, let me point out something. In Hazbin Hotel, it seems that not everyone is giving a last name, even Angels. So, cannon-wise, Emily has no last name. (Unless the creator gives her one.) So I've been taking to using the type of angel she is for her last name. So, in my stories that have Emily in it, her name is Emily Seraphim.
