Chapter 1 - Introducing the Powerpuff…Teens
The city of Townsville, and 10 years have gone by.
It's a beautiful day in the early morning. A typical morning for all the people of Townsville, that is to say as well as the residents of the Utonium household.
"Girls, hurry up, your breakfast is getting cold and you will be late for your last day of middle school!" Professor exclaimed. Even after 10 years, he still looked the same and dressed the same as he always did. He although had patches of grey hair, though being in his mid-40's, a scientist and father to the one and only superheroes of Townville, can cause a bit of stress.
Speaking of which, upstairs resided the room of the 3 superherione's that are well known around their city. But something tells me that whether they were born superheroes, does not make them invulnerable to father time (Or a quirky writer).
"We're coming Professor, just give us 10 minutes!" Blossom cried out, while brushing her hair. "Come on girls, we need to hurry before Professor blows a fuse." She announced, once finishing up her hair with her signature lace ribbon.
"I'm coming; I'm coming red, sheesh! Professor has to chill out." Buttercup said, exasperated. She was busy packing her last bit of books and homework to submit to the teachers at school.
"Ugh! Bubbles you too. You're even dressed; what are you looking for now?" she questioned her other sister.
"No I am not! I am still looking for my favorite blue sweater." She said, still digging through her side of the shared closet. "You know, the one with the white bunny print on the front."
"Alright fine, let me help you look. You might have misplaced it on my side again." She reluctantly offered to help.
Downstairs waited their father, the famous Professor Utonium, creator of the Powerpuff girls. He was starting off his day with his usual cup of coffee with eggs, bacon and toast. He made the girls breakfast as well. 'Now if only they could come down before it gets cold' he thought to himself, as he was getting ready to make another loud call, "Girl-!", but was cut off before he could finish.
"We're coming!" They all said in unison.
10 years have definitely passed and the girls have all turned 15. They have really matured from they were 5, not little kids but growing teenagers now. As they have grown up, certain things have remained the same but significant things have developed and grown as well. The girls are now taller, reaching a bit over 5 feet. No longer were they referred to as bubble head kids, now that everything is in proportion. Their body statures were above average and fit; you could say they brought a bit of jealousy to some girls. In the years that flew by, they managed to acquire hands with fingers, feet and a nose.
Though they were triplets, they always differed slightly in their dressing, appearance, personality; more and more as they got older.
"Here Professor. Just in time." Blossom come down the stairs, holding her book bag over her shoulder as she makes her way to the table
Blossom, still had her long and lustrous orange-red hair, as when she was young, when untied, it reached up to her knees however when tied up with her signature bow, would reach to her mid-thigh. She has bangs that was evenly shaped and covered her forehead. Her style of dressing has taken a more modest and conservative form. She would often wear red and black plaid knee-length skirts with tights; button up shirts with sweaters or vests accompanying it. She would rather dress almost preppy/school like but still not appearing too studious, to not get her sister Buttercup to mock her; though most times she did not care and just ignored it. Blossom just like when she was younger, was often studious and very advanced in intellect way above her peers and also sisters. She would appear to have a more steady level personality than the others.
"Yeah yeah. Keep your pants on, it's only 7:30." Buttercup said, coming downstairs with her camouflage rucksack.
Buttercup's black hair was shorter than the rest of her sisters, being inches above her shoulders; presented in a messy Bob style. She also had bangs, slightly above her forehead and messier than her elder sister's. She would at times hold back either side of hair with a small green hairpin to prevent it from covering her eyes (but it's also her way of appearing a bit more girly). She has always been a tomboy, someone who loves to fight and get dirty. Her style usual consists of baggy shirts, with ripped jeans or plain knee-length shorts for better mobility as she puts it. She would at times be against wearing skirts, believing it made her look stupid. She was the more athletic one of the sister's, favoring sports than studies; even when they fought, they were all strong, but she was a tougher fighter. She was also known for being a bit feisty when it came to others causing trouble towards her. Her temper did get a bit better as she grew up but people didn't dare to get on her bad side or else they would regret it.
"Right here professor. Sorry, I was looking for something important." Bubbles said, dawning the bunny print sweater she was looking for.
Bubbles blonde hair was longer than when she was younger, nowhere near the length of her elder sister but few inches below her shoulders, that she puts up in her signature ponytails; giving her a sense of innocence and charm. Unlike her sisters, she does not have bangs, but hair is parted in the middle. She is arguably the girly girl of the group. Often wears skirts and dresses with floral imprints or animals; she is deemed to be fashionable one of the group. She was always creative when she was younger, often drawing or singing and the like. She does well in school but not so much to the point of being compared to her genius elder sister, enough to not be scolded by her teachers (like a certain raven haired girl). Bubbles, has maintained her kind and caring nature from when she was a younger; volunteering in her spare time. She is still a bit sensitive, though has learned to be more assertive when needed; but she still has her times of being naïve.
He only sighed over his newspaper, "Honestly girls, some mornings you're on time and others…It's like you can't pick one to be consistent on." He said, as he lowered his paper to look at his girls.
"Oh Professor we do make it on time before class anyway. Besides it's a girl thing, we at times take longer to get ready." Bubbles cheerfully added as she takes a bite of her toast.
"Well some of us take much longer than others. Right Red?" Buttercup gave a side eye to her other sister.
"Oh please, just because I want to put more thought in to my appearance, unlike some people. Doesn't mean I get the blame for being late." Giving her own side eye towards her stubborn sister. "Besides, at least I prepare my supplies in advance, unlike you who was scrambling to get all her homework in to the bag." She finished while chewing on her breakfast.
"OH YEAH!" She called out, annoyance in the lines.
"Yeah." She said in a matter of fact way tone.
*An argument starts*
"Okay that is enough!" Professor snaps, silencing the table. "Okay look, I understand that you girls are growing up and need time to get ready but come on! School starts in 30 mins and I need to get to work. So can you please hurry it up next time?" He finished feeling exhausted.
"Yes Professor." The Pink and Blue girls said in unison. Only Buttercup was silent and looked still ticked off the from the remark a few seconds ago.
"Okay Buttercup?!" Asking with a more stern emphasis towards her this time.
"Yeah sure, whatever." She replies reluctantly. Satisfied with the answer, he goes back to reading his newspaper until he jerks up, remembering an important announcement to make.
"Um…girls, when you come back from school, we have to talk." He said, with a neutral tone that made the girls nervous.
"What is it Professor?" Blossom was first to ask.
"Is it bad news?" Bubbles looked a bit afraid.
"I don't like the sound of that." Buttercup already deciding her mood.
"Well it is sort of a change but more details will be given when you all come back." Trying not to give out more details than it needs to be said.
The girls looked at each other, one was puzzled, another fearful and the other was skeptical about it all.
The girls left their house and were on their way to school. They usual walked to school as it was not so far a walk for them. Their school was Pokey Oats Junior High. They were first ecstatic when they finished elementary school that they will pour in to the sister school with all their friends.
"Guys, what do you think is so urgent for Professor to sound like that?" Bubbles asked her sisters.
"I am not so sure Bubbles, but it surely can't be so bad." Blossom tried calming down the situation.
"Maybe…Buttercup what do you think?" Bubbles trailed off, unsure.
"I don't know Bubs. All I do know is that I don't like the sound of it at all!" She exclaimed.
"How do you know not to like it Buttercup? It's not like broccoli you can hate outward without giving it a try." Blossom gave her a skeptical look.
"Oh shut it Bloss! Call it a gut feeling if you want but I don't like this at all. And I know you guys feel something is going off too, don't you?!" Finishing off, looking at the two girls as if she was right.
Bubbles was quiet but she knew Buttercup was right about something being off. Blossom was barely paying mind to her 'gut instincts', she knew it to not always go right. But her own intuition was telling her something else. Just when she was about to give her reply-
*RING* The sound came from her book bag. She reaches down to see it is her phone, but not just any cellphone but the PPG hotline; with the smiling face icon beeping its red nose. The mayor made it a point to upgrade the girls to a more evolved communication service that befits their ages.
"Hello mayor, what seems to be the problem ma'am?" She addressed in a formal but urgent manner.
"Blossom, I am sorry to bother you girls while you are on your way to school, but there is trouble at the Townsville National bank." Her voice was filled with urgency.
"Understood Ms. Bellum, who are the perpetrators?" Blossom replied.
"It seems that your old neighbors, the Smiths are behind all the trouble. And I have word they want their revenge on you three." She added as if to warn them.
"The Smiths! Oh brother." With much indignation in her voice.
"The Smiths…?" Bubbles said as if as a question.
"Dummy, they're the crazy, whack job family who tried to take "Revenge" on us when we were 5, for ruining her dinner!" Buttercup said as she flicked her forgetful sister over the head.
"Ouch! That was 10 years ago Buttercup and they were hardly any real threat to us when we were small!" Shouting back in her defense.
"Well girls, its seems they still remember us and still seeking their unfinished revenge on us." Blossom sighs before answering. "We're on our way Ms. Bellum." She said before hanging up.
"Argh! I guess we will be really late for school now." Blossom said solemnly.
"Oh well, what did we expect, it's still the last day of school. I think we will be fine for today." Bubbles said, trying to console her bookworm sister.
"Woo-hoo! At least I have a perfect excuse for turning in my homework late." Buttercup rejoiced.
"Okay let's go. Buttercup to the Townsville bank if you would." Giving out the instructions.
"Don't have to tell me twice. Alright ladies, hold on tight." As the other two sisters held on to her. She squatted down, bracing herself, a green energy enveloped her, before she leapt in to the sky, in the direction of the crime taking place.
A few minutes later, they arrived down, safely on the ground right in front of the bank. At that very moment they hear an explosion. They move in to action, bursting through the door.
"Okay, the jig is up, step away from the bank tellers!" Blossom called out as the trio made their way to the scene.
"Well well, well, if it isn't the Powerpuff girls and my, they have all grown up, how lovely." A lady called out with a mocking tone.
What stood before them were the very Smith's, but a whole lot different than who they were 10 years ago.
The woman that spoke up first who was Marianne Smith. And was not so small in frame like she was before. She still wore her villain outfit, her black bodysuit and thigh-high boots, with a black mask and blue gloves as her villainous costume. But she was no longer the skinny, lanky woman she once was. She got more muscular while maintaining a curvy frame. She grew out her light blonde hair to shoulder length. And she carried 2 large metallic hammers that could have weighed more than her.
"I am sorry the place is such a mess. But I would be happy to mop the floor with you girls faces." Laughing maniacally at her own threat.
The two children, who have also changed over the years, were at opposite ends of the banks, pointing their laser guns at the cashiers. The older child, Bud, was not the lanky, geeky kid with braces he once was; looking to be around 21 years old. He grew much taller and had muscles as well. His green hair grew longer but messier. His costume upgraded, omitting the green cape he once had and opting for a utility belt that housed various weapons. The younger sister, Julie, also changed. For she was no longer the pudgy little 6 year old girl but a much more mature looking villain. She had a similar curvy body to her mother but less obvious muscles showing. Her once blonde ponytail has been cut down to be a pixie cut. She dawned on some red lipstick, nothing else and wore her mask. Her outfit was a leotard with a spikey edged tutu.
They turned to stare down the 3 girls that apparently ruined their lives."Oh look big brother, the Powerpuff girls. You think they came to play with us" The teenage villain spoke up with devious smile.
"Eh, I could toss them around before I destroy them." Giving his own devilish smirk.
The ring leader of the gang, Harold Smith, who oddly enough had a glow up of his own. The once lanky man, also acquired muscles but still kept his normal appearance aside from his glasses that he replaced for goggles. What was very different was his villain suit. It was still Red with red black lines on the side but more advanced. He still had the antennae on his head. He had a certain power bank that connected to his gloves, emitting electricity.
"Well it seems that the guests of honor have arrived to our little get together. Family, shall we show them the same hospitality they once oh so graciously shown us?" His voice was dark and menacing.
"With pleasure." They all replied back.
"Stand on guard girls, this maybe a bit trickier than it seems." Blossom throwing warning to her sisters.
With that, Harold fired a bolt of electricity at the three from his gloves. In a flash, an explosion was heard where the girls were.
"Did you get them daddy?" Julie gleefully asked in anticipation. Harold narrowed his eyes to see if he truly finished them; but he was far from it.
As the dust cleared, what appeared were all three girls safe and sound behind what appears to be a light blue energy barrier, compliments of Bubbles.
"Oh Crap!" The father exclaimed
"Nice work Bubbles."
"Yeah way to go Bubs."
Bubbles giving a small smile, let down the barrier to start the battle at hand.
"Alright family, get those brats!" He ordered, and his family were more than happy to oblige.
"Girls let's split up and take these idiots. Bubbles you handle the children. Buttercup you handle the wife and I will handle the head of the so called crime family." Relaying he plans.
"On it!" The other 2 sisters complied, splitting up to battle.
As they split up, the two villain kids shot their laser guns straight at Bubbles, who dodged and blocked with her field.
"Yo blondie how long are you going to hide behind that stupid force field." Bart called out while firing continuously, trying to tire down the barrier.
"That is so not fair! Come out and play you wench!" Julie demanded.
"If you want to play so badly. How about patty cake?" With that, Bubbles let down her defenses and bolted away from the shooting; she placed both hand on the ground before releasing a small tremor into the area around them. This was effective in throwing them off balance for even a little bit.
"W-what is goooing on you b-bi-" She did not finish in time.
"Oh don't like this game, how about scream till you drop." She took a deep breath and let out a narrowed sonic scream directly at the girl slamming her against the wall.
"Ahhhh, Oomph!" Julie screamed as she hit smack dab against the wall, knocking her out.
"Want to play again." She asked as if forewarning, looking over to the unconscious girl. At that moment she was kicked in the side, falling a few feet to the ground only get back and face the other opponent that she almost forgot. "No one knocks my sister around except me. I don't care if you are a babe." He said quite angrily.
Bubbles only cringed at the attempt at it. Seriously, she knew the guy was in his 20's. He took out retractable metallic batons and attacked her with it. He kept swinging at her, trying to land a hit. All she was doing was dodging, as if it was a dance. She did cartwheels, backflips and spins; avoiding all his advances like they were dancing.
"Why don't take this seriously cutie and fight already!" Breathlessly demanded.
"Alright, you asked for it." She spun towards him. Seeing this as a chance, charged forward and swung his baton at her; only to be surprised that she flipped above his head to land behind him. Now was on the offense, with her kicks and flips striking at the tired out guy. For her last trick, she landed in a front hand stand, retracting her knees to her stomach; with a powerful kick, knocked the boy on to his back.
She made her way over the boy as he was losing consciousness, "And for your information, its Bubbles and you are not my type." Finally kicking him out cold.
Buttercup made her way towards the wife, ready to take her down.
"Nice to meet you. Buttercup." She said in a sickening sweet tone that almost made her opponent gag.
"Glad you still remember me." She said.
"How can I forget the girl who gave me a swollen black eye!" Still maintaining a sweet tone but had underlying anger.
"Well, I am more than happy to give you another shiner to match it." Smugly she said, which only made the woman strike.
She swung her hammers at her target. Each strike redirected, as was Buttercup's blocked by her as well. Marianne dodged an incoming punch, seeing her chance; she gave a hard swing and slugged the girl right across the face. Not letting up, she kept swinging, hitting the green third of trio until she was well across the other side of the bank.
"Hahahahaha! Oh my, I have been dreaming of slugging you; ever since you brats put me and my family away! Is that the best you got?" She was thinking it was over, until-
"Okay, now the kiddy gloves are off. Nice hit lady but that was nothing compared to what I'm going to do to you now." Standing from the onslaught, she only cracked her neck, and with a light green glow around her hands, she gave the insane woman a sort of death glare.
"Oh, you want some more? THEN BRING IT ON!" Feeling overconfident, she ran towards Buttercup, mallets in the air to land another blow. When the weapon made contact, however it was stuck in place.
"What is going on?" She wondered, looking wide eyed to see her opponent held a palm out, blocking the mallet.
Buttercup smirked. "What a shame. And here I thought you were actually ready for this" She said with a mocking tone.
Marianne did not listen but retracted her hammers and begun swinging at the green Powerpuff in growing anger. Buttercup in turn, dodged, blocked or taunted her with more quips; making the woman go even more blind with rage and swinging aimlessly. After a few minutes, Marianne was starting to slow down.
Looking her opponent who was a few steps away, she said, "Getting sloppy aren't we?" In a fake concerned tone.
"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP AND DIE YOU BRAT!" As if powered by some crazy adrenaline rush, she bolted towards to her, ready to slam her two hammers at both sides. Though this time with her arms crossed, Buttercup stopped the metallic mallet with each hand on either side, with an audible thump sound.
Marianne tried to pull away again but to her shock and horror. Buttercup held on to the hammers so tightly that her hands made dents in to them. What next came was strange for the villain. As she had to remove her hands from the handles on the metallic mallets as if it electrocuted her somehow.
Tossing the dumb weapons aside, she cracked her knuckles at the ready. "Alright time to end this."
"No, I won't let you and your family go scot-free for ruining our lives and my din-" Before she could finish, no less attack. Buttercup leapt forward to deliver consecutive punches and kicks at the annoying woman. Leaving her with bruises, twin black eyes and missing front teeth that were knocked out.
"I guess you didn't train enough." Standing over the now unconscious woman with expression of annoyance. "Sheesh, all this because of ruined dinner? That's the revenge you wanted for?" She asked with a roll of her eyes at the twitching enemy.
While her sister's battles were taking place, Blossom was face to face with the ring leader.
"Hello Mr. Smith. I would say it was nice to see you again but I'm afraid I would be lying." Folding her arms while giving him an uninterested attitude.
"Well I will make this little meet up a memorable one for one of us." Saying that, he raised an electrified glove up.
She however did not seem scared. "I see you advanced your toy gadgets since the last time we saw you."
"It's great what you can do when you have years of free time on your hands."
"After all that time, I thought you would be smarter and get your family and yourself the therapy you all so richly deserve." She quipped.
"This has been a lovely catch up, but how about you cut the crap and I just destroy you and your sisters." Eyes narrowed at her, filled with intent to kill.
That was all Blossom needs to attack the man. Mr. Smith charges up his gloves and makes his way to the teenage girl, swinging his electrified fists to just land an attack. Blossom was not going to give him an inch; she did her best to dodge each attack as it came but it was difficult. Mr. Smith getting even angrier with this tedious charade fell to the next plan to release bolts of electric shots straight at her. She managed to make her way to pillar close by. She hid behind it, but was met with a shaking pillar as Harold would not stop firing.
"What? Are you too scared of a little shock, Ha!" Mocking her tactics.
But she did not care for she had a plan for this whole thing. She rolled out from behind the pillar. Before Harold could blast her, her hands were giving off a pink glow and just then plenty of the rubble were also coated in the pink aura and floating in the air. She looked at the man and flung her hands, making all the debris shoot at the him. Harold only knew to blast the debris, causing it to turn in to dust.
But that was the perfect plan as Blossom managed to sneak under the cover of dust over to the man. A silhouette figure emerged from the dust and right then, Harold took his shot.
"Not so fast you brat!" Sending bolts of electricity at her. "Bull's-eye! Not so smart are we!" Laughed as he shot her, but did he?
"What the heck?" Taking a closer look, he was shocked to see a damaged, melting ice sculpture on the ground.
He did not have time to react when he was kicked in the back.
"Too slow with the update sir." Blossom said to the man on the ground. Unfortunately, she overestimated the time and paid dearly.
Mr. Smith took the opportunity of her guard lower and blasted her with charge of electricity.
"Ahhhhhh!" She screamed from the pain inflicted on her.
"Oh did that hurt you? Good!" He said laughing at his opponent.
Blossom, although she was electrocuted directly, she was seemingly okay. Only her clothes were slightly charged and her hair was a mess. "You're just as tough as you were back then, eh? A few more shocks should put an end to that strong front." Getting ready to blast her again.
"I don't think so." Having had enough, she swiftly restrained the man's arms. Lifting them up, she took a deep breath, and released her ice breath at the man's hands and body; seemingly encasing him in a semi-finished ice sculptor.
"Ugh, you brat, you froze me!" He cried out from the pain of the burning ice around his hands.
"Don't worry, I just want to discard you little toys." With wasting time, she raised her opened hand. With a glow of hands, she enveloped the man in the glow, before making a fist, she caused the ice around the man to crack and shatter; destroying his suit and weapons but leaving him in his skin tight body suit.
Mr. Smith, could not understand how she manage to destroy everything with precision and leave him alone. He also was in shock that his plan was foiled.
Too distracted to see that Blossom came at him with an elbow strike to the chest, grabbed his head bringing it down to deliver a perfect knee kick in the face. She finished it all off with a roundhouse kick that knocked the man out cold.
"That plan did work but I shouldn't make weak mistakes like that again." She chastised herself, before regaining her composure and making her way over to her sisters who defeated their opponents successfully. 'Glad they're safe' giving off a small smile to them.
As the girls finished off their battles, the police came in to the building to arrest them. The officers assured the girls that they will put the family away for a long time. They couldn't stay long, for it was already 9.50. And the girls were annoyed and angry; having to deal with these idiots and late for school is no way to spend their last day. But Buttercup was mainly not complaining.
The girls wrapped up their last day of school. They managed to get to their important classes; fortunately there were two periods of study room. Due to Blossom's tattered clothing, and the fact she didn't have an extra change, she had to borrow one of Bubbles clothing she kept in her locker for emergencies; though it was not her style of choice, but she was grateful for it and had no choice. They managed to not miss even more periods due to a police escort they kindly accepted after dealing with the annoying criminals. The school day was as normal for them as can be. There was no class but a day to turn in homework's and projects that were long overdue; that was Buttercup's chance to turn in her works and get out of summer school programme.
The school clocked out at 15:30 pm, and as always, they would walk home from school. Though the middle school was further from home, they opted to walk due to Professor being busier nowadays.
"Honestly, I am so fucking glad we are done and through with Middle school." Buttercup remarked to her sisters with excitement as they were walking.
"I know right. Finally summer break is on and it gives me more time to myself without worrying about home work." Bubbles also excitedly pointed out.
"Well I for one am glad that we managed to get to school even with the detour we took." Blossom said groaning at the fresh memory.
"Ugh, I really was not happy how we had to deal with those wannabe villains." Buttercup added, "Like it would have been worth our time if it was Mojo Jojo or a monster or whatever."
"Well I agree with you Buttercup but let us be happy it wasn't so bad, but they were dangerous nonetheless. Those 10 years really gave them an upgrade, so to speak." Blossom said.
"An upgrade to what? Total insanity? I see jail made them even crazier than they were. And the kids were so horrible, especially that pervy brother, yuck. His aura was all sorts of dirty." Bubbles shuddered in disgust about her early morning battle.
"Hahahah! Glad I handled the mother, or else I would have socked those two dweebs real good." Buttercup laughed.
"Well I am glad even with the infrequent attacks and crime these years we are able to hold our own. And with our different changes to ourselves." Blossom spoke up, giving a knowing look that made Bubbles silent.
"Well even if there are less crime than usual or even if we are not the same as when we were 5. We are still the Powerpuff Girls and we are even stronger when we stick together!" Buttercup announced, making the other 2 nod in agreement.
The girls went through a lot of changes these past years of their childhood. They were not the same girls they once were at 5 but you could say they had to learn new ways to adapt to said changes.
They girls walked in silence until they reached their home at around 17:27 in the evening. Suddenly Buttercup stands a few feet from the door.
"Man I am still not looking forward to this guys." She said almost inaudible.
"Buttercup, you're still acting paranoid?" Blossom asked.
"It's not being Paranoid Bloss!" She exclaimed, only to take a deep breath to calm herself "It's a gut feeling and besides, I know you guys have been noticing the Professor has been acting strange for some time now." She said with serious look that took the girls off guard until-
"Guys, what happens if it is really bad?" It was now Bubbles turn to sound concerned.
Blossom looking at both her sister couldn't bear to see them so worried and scared. With a determined look, she stepped over to them and gave them a hand on each of their respective shoulders.
"Okay girls, I understand how you feel and yes Buttercup, I have realized how the Professor has been acting weird for some time. But like you said, we can handle it, together." She finished with a reassuring smile at the both of them.
The two sisters gave each other a side glance and quickly relaxed a bit at the elder sister's words.
"Okay Red."
"Thanks Blossom"
As they went to open the door, what was waiting for them was the Professor on the couch talking to a woman in a sharp suit. She looked to be in her late 50's, a few inches taller than the professor. She had grey hair tucked in to a tight bun, wore glasses and had a serious look even when she laughed; it made the girls somewhat nervous. The two were talking until they spotted the girls.
"Ah girls, do come in, we have a guest." He gestured for them to come.
The walked in a straight line all the way to the couch that was big enough to sit all of them.
"Girls, this is Ms. Audrain Von Toft, Headmistress of Saint Victoria All-girls School in France." He introduced the lady as she gave a small brief nod to the girls.
"Well hello ma'am, nice to meet your acquaintance." Blossom was the first to greet and soon the others followed.
"My my Professor, they do seem to be very smart and remarkable, well some of them." She said, while giving the raven haired girl a side look. That did not go over her head though, but was calmed down by 2 different hands on either side of hers 'this lady has some nerve' Buttercup thought.
"Well Professor, I will be off for now. The girls will meet me next week Tuesday at the airport. Thank you for having me." She stood up and shook the man's hand, walking off, leaving 3 confused faces. At the queue of the closing door, Bubbles spoke up.
"Professor, what is happening and why are we meeting her next week?" She said with shaky voice.
Taking a deep breath the man spoke. "Girls, look for some time now, I have been working on invention after invention and I got a break through. I sent my research to the World National Science Centre and they absolutely find it remarkable and think it can do so much to change the world. But the only problem is that I will have to leave overseas and work there which is why I called that lady over here." He finished.
"That is great Professor but I don't why you called her over here." Though Blossom understood why, she just was hoping it was not true.
"I am going to be gone and I want you guys to focus on school and less on superheroing, so I...signed you 3 up to study in France for high school and then from there-" He was immediately cut off.
"WHAT!" All 3 girls shouted in disbelief.
Author's Note:
Hello everyone, so this is the first of many, I hope. This is my take on how the girls would turn out to be in the future and the profile picture is not mine. It belongs to an artist named NessieUsagi on Deviantart (go check her out guys), I got inspiration from the drawing and absolutely loved them. I tried to detail the girls a bit differently from the drawing itself but hey this will give a mental image of what they would look like.
Now this chapter is an introduction about said girls. Next chapter will talk breifly about their past and what the future will entail for them. It also gave you an insight of their new powers, YAY!
I hope you like this so far; it took me a while to really get my thoughts across in this chapter alone. Sorry about my grammar mistakes here and there. I am trying and still learning.
Oh well 1 chapter down, more to go. This is my first long series and I want to enjoy and keep writing it.
MHA and PPG Fans do review and let me know along the way in this journey.
