Amidst the destruction of the Comet Observatory, everyone witnessed it. Behind its destruction stood only one enemy whose sword outmatched the length of everyone's sword. He possessed a black attire with silver hair and blue eyes. His hair waverly flew with the air. The only evidence of his identity was one word that Cloud muttered, "Sephiroth." Sephiroth stood ahead of the entire Smash Army. He gave them a smile but his smile directly told the Smash Army he was waiting for them.
"I have been waiting for this moment," he said. Sephiroth raised his hand and the sky began turning dark with stormy clouds and the clouds swirled above his hand. The sun immediately covered. The clouds could be witnessed by the Falcon Flier and Eight teams. "Now," he said, "I will finally give your little army… despair."
Wii Fit Trainer shot a sun salutation at Sephiroth. "Huh, that was easy," Wii Fit Trainer said. A sword delved through Wii Fit's back where Sephiroth immediately appeared. Sephiroth took out his sword and the Wii Fit Trainer turned into a trophy. "Have at thee!" Simon yelled. Simon launched his whip and tied it to Sephiroth's sword, Masamune. Sephiroth pulled Simon towards him. "AH!" Simon yelled. Sephiroth gave a chuckle, released Masamune from Simon's whip, and stabbed Simon, turning him into a trophy. "Come on!" Terry yelled. Terry launched himself and punched the ground where Sephiroth was. "Where did he go?!" Terry exclaimed. Sephiroth charged behind him. "Watch out!" Marth yelled as he came between them and their swords clashed only Sephiroth's force was stronger as he launched Marth at Terry and they both fell backwards. Min Min made both of her ARMS into dragons and launched fire at Sephiroth. With one hand Sephiroth blocked the attack with his sword. Eleven and Roy charged towards Sephiroth. Sephiroth moved out of the way and they both got hit by Min Min's attack. "AH YAH! Damn it!" Min Min yelled. "Great!- AH!" Ike yelped as he was stabbed by Sephiroth.
"RUN! RUN BANJO!" Kazooie screamed. "GAH!" Banjo yelled. Sephiroth charged towards Banjo & Kazooie. "Get out of here thy fair bear and bird," Richter said. "You don't have to tell me twice!" Kazooie yelled as Banjo began running to one of the ships. "Take this!" Richter yelled as he tossed a cross. Sephiroth slid beneath the cross' impact and charged towards Richter. "Ah ha!" Richter laughed. Richter's cross began returning. Sephiroth gave a small smile. Sephiroth immediately laid down as the cross went over him. "What?!" Richter exclaimed. Richter caught his cross but in a split-second he was sliced by Sephiroth. "Hadouken!" Ken yelled as he launched his Hadouken. Sephiroth sliced the Hadouken in mid-air. "Hadouken! Hadouken! Hadouken!" Ken yelled. Sephiroth kept slicing the Hadoukens. "HA!" Sora yelled as he smacked Sephiroth back. "Long time no see Sephy," Sora said. "Hm," Sephiroth groaned.
Sora clashed with Sephiroth. Sora did a three strike hit with his keyblade and knocked Sephiroth back. "Hm," Sephiroth groaned. "Is that all you got?" Sora asked. Sephiroth released an explosive spell. "Sora!" Goofy yelled. Goofy jumped in front of Sora with his shield at front and the explosion knocked the both of them back. Donald yelled but no one could understand him and he sent out fire spells from his wand. "Come on! Come on!" Kamek yelled as he was on the ground and moving like a worm to escape. Aqua, Terra, and Ventus charged in and clashed with Sephiroth and launched him into the air. "Take this!" Mickey yelled as he slammed Sephiroth down to the ground.
"I've had enough," Sephiroth said. Sephiroth launched himself up into the air. Sephiroth unveiled one black feathered wing. "What? He can fly with just one wing? No fair," Pit complained. "Focus," Lucario said. Lucario threw in Aura Sphere but Sephiroth sliced it in the air. "Incineroar!" Incineroar said with a nod. "Okay, however you want it," Little Mac said. Little Mac uppercutted Incineroar into the air. "Roar!" Incineroar yelled as he used Darkest Lariat. Sephiroth dodged and sliced Incineroar midair. "Now Poppi!" Tora yelled. "Poppi says boom boom go!" Poppi yelled. Poppi shot out a missile and they detonated Sephiroth midair. "Let's go! Tora is Heropon!" Riki yelled. "It's not over yet," Nia said. Sephiroth walked through the explosion with no damage. "What?!" Tora exclaimed. Greninja and Chun Li appeared behind Sephiroth, attempting to get him from behind. Sephiroth turned around and sliced them immediately. "Burning Sword!" Rex and Pyra yelled. They sent a huge slash of fire towards Sephiroth. Sephiroth sliced the fire in half. Nia launched her disks but Sephiroth blocked them.
Sephiroth's rampage tore through the entire army. Toad, Toadette, Jigglypuff, and Corrin were sliced down. "AH!" Eleven yelled as he tossed a fire spell. Sephiroth flew and stabbed Eleven through the neck and lifted him. "Oh ramen," Min Min said as her mouth filled with vomit. Sonic, Pink, and Pac-Man flew around with Tails. "Hang on," Tails said. Tails flew the Tornado towards Sephiroth. Tails shot lasers at Sephiroth. Sephiroth used his sword to reflect the lasers back and he shot at Tails' laser cannons. "AH! Weapons are down!" Tails exclaimed. "Waka Waka! Get out of here!" Pac-Man exclaimed. "What about everyone else?" Sonic asked. Peppy through comms, "Don't worry! We'll get out of here!" "We're going to die!" Pink yelled. Sephiroth had sent explosive spells towards the Tornado. "AH!" Tails yelled. Tails swiftly maneuvered the Tornado around the explosions.
Orange and Blue were shooting ink at Sephiroth. "AH!" they yelped as they were sliced and splatted into ink and their trophies rose from their ink. "Buster Wolf!-" Terry yelled as he charged into Sephiroth. Sephiroth slashed Terry multiple times. Little Mac charged at Sephiroth but Sephiroth stabbed him straight through his chest. Robin charged a beam of electricity and shot it. Sephiroth used his magic to stop the beam. Sephiroth then launched an explosive spell and blew up Robin. "Robin!" Chrom yelled. Chrom charged in. "Father no!" Lucina yelled. "Lucina!" Marth yelled as he grabbed her. "AH!" Chrom yelled. Sephiroth stabbed Chrom in the chest. "No!" Lucina yelled. "We must go!" Marth yelled as he pulled her inside the Great Fox. Barret shot at Sephiroth as the remaining survivors entered the Halberd. "Let's go!" Barret yelled. The Halberd began ascending along with the Gummi Ship, and the Great Fox. Sephiroth was walking towards the Halberd. "He's not seriously going to chase us?" Aerith asked. "He's capable of it," Barret said. A flash passed Barret and Aerith. Cloud was outside. "Cloud, what are you doing?!" Aerith exclaimed. "Cloud!" Barret yelled. The Halberd's doors shut as it ascended further up.
Cloud unleashed his sword and released a deep breath. He charged at Sephiroth. "AH!" he yelled. Their swords clashed against each other. "Cloud," Sephiroth said. "Sephiroth!" Cloud yelled. They both jumped back and clashed swords multiple times. Sephiroth charged in but Cloud launched him into the air. "AH!" Cloud yelled as he jumped and spun his sword. Their swords clashed in the air and Cloud began using OMNISLASH. He slashed Sephiroth multiple times. He then dived and brought Sephiroth back to the ground. They both stood with their backs facing each other. Sephiroth etched forward due to injuries. "Stay where you belong," Cloud said as he turned around and faced his sword against Sephiroth and he finished his sentence, "In my memories." "I will never be… a memory," Sephiroth said.
The R. all closed their eyes as their existence came to an end. The Subspace Bombs detonated and it took Cloud and Sephiroth with them. "No! No! No-" Kamek yelled as he was hit by the impact and became a trophy. The entirety of the Keyblade Graveyard became engulfed by Subspace. Many trophies were laid there. Within Subspace Ganondorf, Bowser, and Dr. Eggman checked out the scarred battlefield. "Kamek," Bowser said as he reawakened him. "-o… Oh? Lord Bowser!" Kamek said, excitedly. Dr. Eggman smacked his egg mobile. "No sign of that blue rat or his friends," he complained. Ganondorf checked out the remains of the Comet Observatory. He walked past Rosalina's trophy. Within the debris he found four lights illuminating under it. Ganondorf removed the debris and found the last four Convergence Crystals. Ganondorf smiled as he picked them. "We have them," Ganondorf said. "What about him?" Bowser asked as he stood up Sephiroth's trophy. "Leave him. He will not matter to our new order," Ganondorf said. "Then what do we do now?" Dr. Eggman asked. "We shall inform the Master and Crazy Hands of our complete mission, and then we shall deal with the remaining heroes," Ganondorf responded. As they walked Ganondorf smiled sinisterly as his plan would now unfold.
