For my 200th story, a brand new adventure has opened the way. Davis, Tai, and their friends have grown and now the time has come to pass the baton to the next generation. Others might be against it, but with new digivices, new digimon, and new digidestined; it could all be a sign that the time draws near for both the human world and the digital world to truly become one.

Amanda: Sid met up with Ken and the two of them were getting ready to face SlashAngemon. SlashAngemon was able to trap Panthermon and Stingmon was powerless against the guy. Sid wasn't going to let anything stop him from saving his partner, so he actually fought digimon with his own two hands. Matt and MetalGarurumon showed up and all of them working together helped them beat SlashAngemon. Haru and Mary were on their way to fight the last two of Fanglongmon's best digimon, but it looks like they have to deal with Mary's parents first.

"One's Strongest Desire"

Most of the city has been evacuated while others have tried to take refuge in safe places. Most of Fanglongmon's loyal servants have been defeated, which could mean this is that much closer to ending this. Mary and Haru were going to face the enemy themselves, but Hiori alerted them about something. Not only has Hiori worked on trying to restore things to how they were, he also placed everyone's families into a safe place, which is where Haru and Mary are right now.

"This is the safehouse that Hiori set for our parents." Mary said.

"Let's make this quick. Darkdramon and Samudramon could be here soon." Haru said. The two of them opened up the door and saw the families of all the digidestined together. All of them saw them at the door and the ones who ran to them were Mary's parents.

"Mary! There you are!" Mrs. Minato said as she hurried to her and hugged her daughter.

"Thank goodness you're okay. Do you have any idea how worried we were?" Mr. Minato said. "First, we saw you on the news with those digimon, the whole world is in a state of chaos, and we couldn't find you anywhere."

"I'm sorry, but my friends needed my help." Mary claimed.

"You don't have to worry. I've been protecting her the whole time." Kudamon said as he spoke to the mfor the first time, but gave them both a good scare since they always thought he was an excessory. "I'm sorry for not introducing myself before. My name is Kudamon, and I am Mary's partner."

"Partner?! Absolutely not!" Mrs. Minato said as she had a firm hold on her daughter like she wanted to protect her. "My daughter is not getting mixed up with you creatures!"

"Mary, we need to get going. We don't really have time for this." Haru said.

"I know." Mary said as she freed herself from her mother. "Mom, Dad, I came here because I heard you two were throwing a fit being worried about me. I came to show you that I'm fine, but I need to get going. A couple digimon that don't like humans will be here soon. Haru and I have to try and stop them."

"Not you. You're getting in here and staying away from those dangerous creatures." Mr. Minato claimed.

"But not all digimon are dangerous! Look at Kudamon! I've been with him this whole time and he's only protected me!" Mary said. "You two are just afraid of something you don't understand! Not all the digimon are the same!" Now was not the best time to have this argument, especially when Kudamon's ears perked up.

"There's no time to argue. They're here." Kudamon said. That was when a geyser of power erupted from behind them. They all looked and saw Samudramon and Darkdramon arrived right in the city, the last of Fanglongmon's best, but the best of the best.

"Samudramon! Darkdramon!" Haru called and got their attention.

"Well, we meet again boy." Samudramon said.

"Only this time, we're serious this time." Darkdramon said. "This time, we don't need to let you go."

"I thought we were done with the two of you!" Dorumon claimed.

"Haru, are they the same digimon you fought back in the Digital World?" Mary asked.

"Yeah, Sid and I both." Haru said as he remembered how that played out and how they barely managed to survive against them. "I thought we were done with them, but obviously they faked their downfall and tricked us!"

"You mean... Even the combine power of Dorugoramon and Panthermon couldn't beat these two?" Mary said as she didn't like this. If those two couldn't, how are they going to beat them now?

"It doesn't matter. What does is that we have to stop them now." Kudamon said. "Dorumon, are you ready?"

"I am. After what they did to AncientGreymon, I still need to give them payback. Let's go!" Dorumon said as they both went into battle.

"Dorumon warp digivolve to...Dorugoramon!"

"Kudamon digivolve to...Reppamon!

"Reppamon digivolve to...Chirinmon!"

The two of them now stood facing each other. With them fighting directly in the city now, not to mention close to the safehouse where everyone's families are staying in, they have to be careful with this one.

"Chirinmon, be careful. These two are probably Fanglongmon's strongest." Dorugoramon warned.

"Understood." Chirinmon said. With him being at the lowest level at the moment, he had to be extra careful.

"Mary, get inside right now!" Mrs. Minato said as her parents were still insistent on protecting her from digimon.

"Not now." Mary said as she can't go anywhere.

"Dorugoramon, let me handle Samudramon." Chirinmon offered.

"Then, Darkdramon, you're mine. Let's go!" Dorugoramon said as he flew up in the air and Darkdramon went after him. The fight was on as the two of them charged right at each other and clashed against each other, but Darkdramon knocked him away and tried to attack him with his lance. As for Chirinmon, he flew right at Samudramon and tried to fight him off. Samudramon swung one blade at him, but Chirinmon suddenly disappeared.

"Knowledge of Swift!" Chirinmon flew around Samudramon with incredible speed and looked for an opening to attack.

"I see... You're fast." Samudramon said. He closed his eyes and tried using his other senses to follow Chirinmon. "But you're not fast enough!" He was able to counter Chirinmon's attack as he knocked him away with one of his swords.

"He somehow countered my attack!" Chirinmon said as he never faced anyone who was able to counter him like that. With how powerful and skilled these two are, this one isn't going to be easy.

Tokyo Tower

"That's it, Dorugoramon! To the left! Left! Now the right!" Taka cheered. While they were fighting, the others regrouped back at the tower. Ben, Izzy, Cody, Taka, Joe, and T.K. were together again and were staying on standby. Taka tried to watch the fight go on with a telescope until the timer ran out and he couldn't see anything anymore. "Aw! I hate these things! Does anyone have a quarter?"

"Nope. Sorry, Taka." Ben said.

"What's he complaining about now?" All of them looked and saw Yolei, Mimi, and Amanda came back.

"You're back. How'd it go?" Izzy questioned.

"The usual. We kicked butt, Blastmon is finished, and Amanda and her half-sister have now become best friends." Mimi claimed.

"Slow down. That's not what happened." Amanda said. "What's going on with the others?"

"Mary and Haru are fighting right now. I just hope they can win. It's not looking good out there." Taka said as hope is all they can do for the moment.

"Don't worry. Help should be on the way." T.K. said as he certainly does have hope.

...

The Fight

"Lasers of Light!" Darkdramon charged right at Dorugoramon and smashed his lance against him. It knocked him right out of the air and caused him to crash right into the ground. As for Chirinmon, he tried to attack Samudramon again only to get knocked away. Those two enemies were just as strong as ever, and it's not looking good for them.

"Now to finish you!" Darkdramon claimed as they were both going for the finish.

"Terra Force!"

"V-Laser!" Luckily, they were both saved as two attacks came in and blasted both digimon and stopped Darkdramon. That was when Haru and Mary spotted Davis and Tai showed up to lend them a hand with their partners: ExVeemon and WarGreymon.

"You guys okay?!" Davis said.

"Yeah. Nice timing." Haru said.

"And we brought a little help." Tai said.

"Starlight Explosion!"

"Fire Tornado!" That was when two other attacks came directly at Samudramon. Just before the attacks made contact, he jumped back and was able to evade the attacks. All of them looked and saw a phoenix-like digimon with a pink dragon. That was where they also spotted Kari and Sora arriving.

"Hey! We got here as fast as we could!" Sora said.

"It looks like we got here just in time." Kari said. "Luckily, we had Biyomon and Gatomon become Phoenixmon and Magnadramon."

"I was wondering when you two were going to show." Mary said.

"It's great that you all made it here, but now it's time to get serious." Haru said. "I'm starting to think it's getting too crowded around here. With all this firepower, I'm a little worried a large chunk of the city is going to be destroyed." He claimed as he's worried for that and the safehouse could get demolished. 'We need to try and lure these two somewhere with a little more open space."

"More opened space? Makes sense, but where do we take them?" Sora questioned.

"I think I might know." Mary said as she had an idea. Once they had an idea, they put their plan into action with all of them getting on their digimon partners and going for a ride.

"Come on! Come and get us!" Haru said as he flew off with the others following.

"You two couldn't catch a fish in a bucket!" Dorugoramon mocked as they all took off.

"There is no escape!" Samudramon called as he and Darkdramon chased after the two of them.

"Let's get this over with. Once we get done with these two, we can head straight for Fanglongmon." Dorugoramon claimed. When he mentioned that, a thought occurred to Haru's head.

'That's right. These two are the only ones left of Fanglongmon's personal guardians.' Haru thought. 'Why haven't we heard anything about Fanglongmon? Why hasn't he made a move himself? Where could he be? I've got a bad feeling about this.' He doesn't like how this is going and is now thinking they need to finish this fast. Unfortunately, Mary's parents refused to just sit by out of sheer concern for their daughter and followed after them in a car.

Tokyo Tower

"Anyone have any idea where Sid is? I heard that he got done with SlashAngemon." Taka said.

"I just heard from Matt. He and Ken helped him out and they should be on their way back." T.K. said. "Those two Haru and the others are fighting should be the last ones."

"If that's the case, maybe we should go help them." Taka said.

"Taka, what are you saying?" Ponymon questioned.

"The sooner we defeat those two, the sooner we can go straight to Fanglongmon himself." Taka said. "All of our digimon are highly evolved now. We can lend them our power and just be done with it."

"I see what you're saying, and I have to agree with it." Ben said.

"As do I." Swallowmon said. "Fanglongmon could be here any moment, and we don't know what he's plotting now. We must finish this battle quickly before the Sovereign run out of power and our two worlds are on the verge of colliding again."

"Besides, Agumon and Biyomon can't unleash all their power like they did before since their partnerships with Tai and Sora are different." Labramon reminded. "Without Stingmon, Veemon can't become Imperialdramon either. They might actually need the help."

"I think it might be best if we just go and the older digidestine stay on standby in case anything goes on." Amanda said. That sounded good to everyone else. With the final battle closing in, they need to get it done sooner rather than later while they still can." All of them were in agreement with this plan and headed out. With Fanglongmon still out there and both worlds still in danger, they need to end all this fighting soon.

The Park

Haru and the others managed to lead Samudramon and Darkdramon straight to the park. With them in the park now, the city would be less likely to be destroyed and they have a lot more open space. WarGreymon made use of the open space with him charging right at Darkdramon spinning like a tornado. However, he just grinded against Darkdramon's weapon and couldn't push through. When WarGreymon's attack didn't work, Darkdramon grabbed a hold of him and tossed him to the ground. ExVeemon tried to fight back as he struck him right in the face, but Darkdramon easily knocked him away.

"Careful, ExVeemon. Without becoming Imperialdramon, you're outmatched." Dorugoramon said.

"Don't worry. I can take him." ExVeemon claimed and tried attacking him again, but Darkdramon easily knocked him into WarGreymon. As for Samudramon, he was fighting the girls' digimon. Phoenixmon dived right down with her talons, but Samudramon pushed her away. Magnadramon tried attacking with mystical fire, but he sliced right through the flames.

"You'll have to do better than that." Samudramon taunted.

"How about this?" Chirinmon said as he dived straight down from above, but Samudramon stepped to the side with only a few threads of his hair being cut off. Once his attack missed, Samudramon kicked him rather hard and sent him flying through the park.

"Is this really the best the ones who hold the crests can do? I was expecting more of a challenge." Darkdramon taunted.

"You haven't won yet!" Dorugoramon said as he fired energy blasts at him and kept the fight going.

"Darn it." Tai said as he was getting frustrated with him pounding his fist into his hand. "I'm sure WarGreymon and Phoenixmon can take these, but they just don't have the power they once had before."

"It's fine. We just got to keep fighting with all the strength we do have." Haru said.

"We're going to need a lot more than what we have now to beat these guys." Mary said as it wasn't looking too good for them. It was about to get worse. Mary heard the sound of a car and saw someone else was in the area. Unfortunately, it was her parents.

"Mary! Over here!" Mrs. Minato called.

"Are you serious?! What are they doing?!" Mary said as this was the worst possible time. She hurried on over to try and get her parents out of the Park before it was too late. "Mom! Dad! What are you doing?! You need to get out of here!"

"Get in the car!" Mr. Minato said as he tried to force her to come with them.

"What? No! I can't leave my friends now!" Mary said, but her parents were being insistent on this.

"Mary!" Chirinmon called as he came right over. "This not the time for this!"

"Get back!" Mrs. Minato said as her parents were trying to shield their daughter from him.

"What?! Me?! I'm not the one trying to hurt you!" Chirinmon said.

"Mary!" Kari called as she and Sora hurried over.

"Mr. and Mrs. Minato, you can't be here." Sora asked.

"Kari? I can't believe you're a part of this." Mrs. Minato said with great disappointment. "You knew how we felt about the digimon and yet you dragged our daughter into this. We trusted you."

"No, Mom! Kari didn't drag me into this, it was my choice. I'm sorry I lied to you, but I knew you wouldn't approve." Mary said. "You don't even know the digimon. You don't even try to understand them. Not all of them are dangerous. Look at Chirinmon. He's done nothing but protect and support me, and right now we're fighting to protect our world."

"Not you! You are not getting mixed up with these dangerous creatures!" Mr. Minato said. "Look at that has happened in the world because of digimon. We're not risking your safety just so you can get to know them. They just bring trouble everywhere they go."

"That's not true! You're not even trying to get to know them!" Mary said as she can't believe her parents are acting like this now of all times. All while the fight was going on and Magnadramon and Phoenixmon were barely holding Samudramon off. When they were knocked away from him, he noticed a golden opportunity for him.

"You should know better than to look away!" Samudramon said as he was attacking them.

"Cross Slicer!" Samudramon unleashed his attack and planned to take all of them out at once. Mary and her parents were caught in the line of sight of that attack and it was going to be bad if it hit.

"No!" Chirinmon called as he stepped in the way and took the full frontal of that attack. The attack connected and sent him flying until he crashed right into a building.

"Chirinmon!" Mary called as she broke away from her parents and ran directly to her partner. Concerned that he's hurt, Mary rushed to his side while her parents followed her. "Chirinmon, are you okay?! Tell me you're not hurt!"

"I'm... I'm okay." Chirinmon said as he tried to stand, but he clearly took a lot of damage from the attack. He was so worried about protecting others that he didn't try to protect himself.

"Mary, forget that thing and let's just get out of here." Mr. Minato said as he was insistent on this, but Mary couldn't take it anymore.

"No!" Mary shouted at her parents. "Chirinmon just protected you, used himself as a shield, and you still think he's dangerous?! You really don't understand digimon!"

"Mary, it's fine." Chirinmon assured.

"No, it's not!" Mary claimed. "You're one of my best friends, Chirinmon. You've been there for me, helped me, and now my parents are being unfair to you! I don't see the digimon the same way as they do, and they way people treat digimon like this is wrong. They judge you without really knowing you or understanding you. They think all digimon are dangerous. I never thought like that. I was more interested in the digimon than afraid of them, and now that I've gotten to know them, I can't take all this...discrimination and prejudice against them!" Mary really didn't hold anything back there. Neither of her parents have heard her speak with such passion for something like this.

"Mary..." Mrs. Minato said as she was stunned.

"Mary... All we were simply trying to do was protect you. You do understand that much, don't you?" Mr. Minato said. "We saw the damage and destruction that comes with these digimon and were afraid of what might happen if you got caught in it."

"I do understand, but you saw what Chirinmon just did, and those fights happened for a reason. They didn't fight just to fight." Mary claimed. "I don't really like all this fighting myself, but I do believe our two worlds can live together. That is what my friends and I are fighting for." She claimed as she was finally coming clean to her parents, and it was beginning to stir something in her.

"Mary, you truly are a kind and compassionate person." Chirinmon said. "That's why I've always been so proud to have you as my partner."

"Thank you, Chirinmon." Mary said as she truly loves her partner. "All I want is for our two worlds to live together. I want everyone to live together. That is my one greatest desire. I want everyone to know just how amazing you digimon can be!" It was also her strongest. Her great desire and her strongest is what gave the power she needed as her digivice shined brightly with power flowing through Chirinmon.

"Chirinmon digivolve to..." Chirinmon was beginning to digivolve as he was growing with the fierce power of blizzard. He even changed forms having a centaur-like body with six legs.

"Kentaurosmon!"

Digimon Analyzer: I am Kentaurosmon. I am a mega-digimon that contains great ice power. My six legs give me unmatched mobility and my entire armor is perfect for a powerful defense.

"No way! You digivolved!" Mary said as they were amazed with his new form. "I don't understand. How did you digivolve?"

"Your whole life, your parents wanted to keep you away from my kind out of a strong desire for protection." Kentaurosmon explained. "Being the kind person you are, you didn't have it in you to speak against their word, but you finally have now. Your passion for everyone to see what you see and live peacefully together is what allowed this to happen."

"Mary caused this because she wants digimon living with us?" Mr. Minato questioned as he and his wife couldn't believe their daughter felt so strongly about this.

"Now, I believe it's time we finish this." Kentaurosmon said as he jumped back in the battle. WarGreymon and the others struggled against the two digimon with Dorugoramon the only one left standing, but that was when Kentaurosmon stepped in.

"What's this?!" Darkdramon questioned.

"Inferno Frost!" Kentaurosmon took aim with his crossbow and fired a series of arrows made of ice. He blasted against Samudramon and Darkdramon with the tide of the battle turning in their favor.

"Chirinmon?" Dorugoramon questioned.

"Not right now, I'm not." Kentaurosmon said.

"Awesome! We've got another mega!" Tai said.

"Now we can win this!" Haru said.

"Mind if we join in?!" That was when Taka and the others showed up to help them out.

"Hey, guys! Perfect!" Haru said.

"Come on, guys! Let's do it!" Taka said as all three of their mega-level digimon arrived in the battle field.

"Photon Cyclone!"

"Pyramid Power!"

"Solo Roar!" All three of their digimon attacked at once with Samudramon and Darkdramon getting blasted by all of their attacks.

"You all can digivolve to mega now? When did that happen?" Haru questioned.

"Who cares? I'm just glad we have the help." Dorugoramon said. Five megas are now standing together. Samudramon and Darkdramon might be powerful, but even they can't hope to defeat a force like this. "It's over, you two. I think it's obvious we have this battle won, so just give up and return to the Digital World." They thought this was finished right here, but something was off. Darkdramon and Samudramon were the ones laughing. "What's so funny?"

"You fools! We have you right where we want you!" Darkdramon claimed. He then stabbed the ground with his lance and had energy flow into the ground. When that happened, Haru's group were cut off from Tai and the others and were now trapped inside a blue bubble of energy, a barrier meant to keep them in.

"What is this?! What are you two up to this time?!" Haru said.

"You feeble minded fools fell for another trick." Samudramon admitted with all of them shocked to hear that. "Since you defeated the others, we weren't going to take you lightly this time. Now that we have you trapped, Lord Fanglongmon can eliminate the rest of your friends."

"What?!" Haru said as they couldn't believe they fell for another trick.

"Up there!" Kari called and got everyone's attention. "Something's coming down from the sky!" All of them looked and saw she was right. Something was emerging out of the clouds and coming straight down into Odaiba, and they all couldn't believe the size.

"It's him!" Dorugoramon claimed as they all saw Fanglongmon descend to the ground and enter Odaiba himself.

Digimon Analyzer (Dorugoramon): Fanglongmon... He is considered the most powerful digimon ever. His power unleashed could be considered a natural disaster. To this day, there hasn't been a digimon that can match his power.

"I can't believe this! We fell for another one of his tricks?!" Taka said.

"They were attempting to divide us and weaken us!" Ben said. Fanglongmon is here now and they are trapped, unable to do anything now.

"No!" Dorugoramon called as he flew up to the barrier and tried to force his way through, but the barrier electrocuted him and sent him flying back to the ground.

"That won't work." Darkdramon said as he found amusement in his misfortune.

"Face it, Dorugoramon. It's over. Now that Lord Fanglongmon is here, humans and digimon like you will be nothing more than a mere memory." Samudramon claimed. Could this really be the end? As Fanglongmon unleashed a mighty roar that could be heard all over the city, everyone is thinking this really is the end.
