The next morning, Toni had driven back to the Atlanta Quays to meet up with Vincenzo at his warehouse. Once he parked up front, he saw Vincenzo standing right at the door armed with an M4. Toni took a deep breath and hopped out of the vehicle. He walked up to Vincenzo and faced him.
"Toni!" Vincenzo called to him. "I just got a message from the Don of the Sindaccos."
"Paulie Sindacco?" Toni asked. "Figures. That coward still in Venturas?"
Vincenzo nodded. "He found out that JD got whacked and is coming down here anytime soon. But that ain't the only reason he's coming back. Luigi is also coming back to reclaim his bar that Paulie stole from him a few years back, and Paulie is trying to defend it by sending his Sindacco goons. So we gotta get over to the Red Light District to eliminate all them Sindacco bastards before Luigi gets back. He's on his way back here on a boat. It's gonna be payback!"
So Toni and Vincenzo walked over to the Armored Bullet and hopped inside, Toni taking the wheel and starting the engine in the process and started driving. Luigi Goterelli was another member of the Leone Crime Family who had once owned the bar that he then named Luigi's Sex Club. When the Sindaccos were taken out in Las Venturas and sent back to Liberty City, they tried to take over Luigi's club, and because of Luigi's gambling, he lost the club and was forced in exile once Paulie Sindacco, the Don of the Sindacco Crime Family, took over. Since then, Luigi's been laying low in Italy. With Sal and the other Leone members taking back the club following Sal's reprisal on them, Luigi was about to return to claim the club back, and since Paulie had heard the news, he had sent the Sindacco family to take the place back. So it was up to Toni and Vincenzo to clear the club before Luigi had returned.
"Luigi's taking a boat back here in Liberty?" Toni asked as he made a right turn on the road leading up to Chinatown.
"That's right," Vincenzo replied. "And those Sindacco assholes are waiting to do him in! We gotta eliminate them before they could try to do the same to Luigi! I already called Ray and Lou to help out with the job as well!"
Toni continued driving straight down the road. The sunrise shone brightly to his right side. The eclectic vehicles were driving at a steady pace in unison as the traffic lights they drove through remained green. There were still a plethora of pedestrians walking through the sidewalks of the town. As Toni finally made it through the Red Light District after three minutes, he pulled in front of the club to find Ray and Lou Scannon standing there, the former had slicked brown hair and a thin mustache while the latter had slicked black hair with a goatee while wearing sunglasses. Both had on black suits while armed with M4's.
"Ray! Lou!" Vincenzo greeted the two as he stepped out of the vehicle and approached them. "I see you've prepared already! Now listen up. Luigi's on his way over here to take this club back and we gotta do what we can to eliminate every Sindacco fucker on their way to take it all back!"
He then turned to Toni, who had just approached alongside him. "Now Toni here has dedicated his life as a Leone gangster to help the families out and will whack any of these Sindacco fuckers who dare to step on this turf. Won't you, Toni?"
"You know me, Vinnie," Toni replied.
"So then you know your task," Vincenzo said. "Now enough chit-chat and more action! We got rivals to ice!"
So Toni and the other members gripped tightly at their weapons to prepare to take out any Sindacco members who approach the club. It took about twenty seconds, but a Sindacco Argento finally arrived and came to a stop. After every Sindacco member hopped out, Toni and the other members on his side showed no hesitation as they fired their bullets at them, killing them one by one. Much to their surprise, they found many other members coming out from the alleyways firing at the Leone members.
"I saw this one coming!" Toni shouted as he and the other three Leone members fired back at the Sindaccos. "Come on! Let's take them out!"
He and the other three fired back at the Sindacco members and managed to motion around rapidly to avoid the flying bullets coming this way. One by one, each Sindacco member dropped dead. Another Argento pulled up in front of them, and five more Sindacco gang members hopped out as the vehicle came to a stop and fired at Toni and the Leone gang members. The former gang were really on a bloodthirsty rampage to retrieve the club back, especially after the peace was interrupted.
Toni and the other guys, however, had other plans, as Luigi was about to make his return and rejoin the Leone Crime Family after his exile upon hearing the news of the club being seized by the Leones themselves. So Toni and the guys dispersed around the streets to dodge the bullets and fire back at the Sindaccos. The vehicles that were driving on the road sped up to avoid the bullets firing around them. As each member of the Sindacco gang dropped dead with bullets drilled into them, Toni and the other guys looked to see more Sindacco members on foot firing back at them. The shootout lasted for two more minutes, with each and every member of each side using the building walls and vehicles as cover while firing at each other, until the final bullets went into the last Sindacco member standing, who dropped dead like the rest of the members.
With every Sindacco member eliminated, Toni and the other three breathed heavily in victory, and they looked to see a taxi cab pulling up in front of the club. It pulled to a stop, and out hopped one of the members of the Leone Crime Family, Luigi Goterelli, an Italian-American brunette man wearing a black suit. He was carrying a black suitcase and approached Toni and the other guys, taking a quick stare at Vincenzo.
"Vinnie," Luigi greeted. "Pleasure meeting you in physical form. Salvatore told me you were new to the gang."
"I'm the Capo now," Vincenzo told him.
"Well it's a good thing," Luigi replied. "Ever since Sal's casino in Venturas got robbed, the Sindaccos came back here to attack my old bar and forced me in exile for the last five years. I tell ya, one conspiracy in elsewhere leads to another here. So it's good Sal's got a new partner recruited."
Luigi then turned at Toni, which elicited shock to the former. "Toni!" Luigi said. "Didn't expect you to return after all these years!"
"I just been laying low for a while," Toni replied. "And now I'm back to reclaim my position."
"Same here," Luigi said. "Once Salvatore told me about the so-called peace, I just knew it was too good to be true. Now with the Sindacco family weakened and that JD slimeball whacked, I'm ready to take my old club back, and I'm ready for Paulie too!"
"As for me," Vincenzo added, "Ray and Lou are gonna take me back to my warehouse so we could implement our next plan. We need to plan ahead before we're ready to take out more gangs here in Liberty. It's a warzone now. Later, Toni!"
As Luigi took the path leading to the backdoor of the club, Vincenzo went with Ray and Lou to hop inside a black Sentinel, with Vincenzo as the driver. He started the engine and squealed away.
Just then, Toni heard his cellphone ring. He pulled it out to answer it. "Yeah," he answered.
"You think you took our club over, Toni, you mother-loving fucker?!" he heard an angry tone of voice growl over the phone. It was Paulie Sindacco!
"Ah, Paulie," Toni answered nonchalantly. "Pleasure to speak with you."
"You just watch your back, Toni!" Paulie replied. "I'm on my way over! And we'll see who's gonna take the club back!"
He had hung up, and Toni walked to his vehicle. As he hopped inside, he took a second to think. Paulie Sindacco was on his way to try to retrieve his club as the war was already going on, and Toni knew that he and Luigi had to prepare to defend it.
