It's been two weeks since Tsuna's arrival and to say, it wasn't the worst. The brunet actually brought more life into the small group of survivors. They had grown a little used to the sight of the brunet wandering the halls and the sound of him tripping over his feet. It was probably one of the happiest times they all had in awhile. Though there were some things going on with Tsuna.

It wasn't long after Tsuna's arrival, when the small child would disappear for long periods of time. At first, they brushed it off and thought he was just hiding, but when it started to happen more often, Reborn and Luce were starting to freak out.

So when no one was looking, Reborn followed behind Tsuna very closely.

On the sixth day of the second week, after lunch, Tsuna gave a cheerful wave towards Luce and followed Skull. The purple haired man-child played with Tsuna for a bit before the brunet claimed wanted to play with Fon. Skull held a pouting playful face but allowed the kid to leave.

After leaving Skull, Tsuna was down the hall and quickly making his way towards the base entrance. Reborn watched with interested eyes as Tsuna easily opened the door, when had he learned how to do that, passed through the cleaning station and out into the open world. He would have a talk with Verde about security when he came back, but right now he needed to follow(read:stalk) Tsuna.

Once outside, Tsuna didn't even look back. The brunet wandered the deserted city, looking at things, picking things up and watching the spores. Reborn made a mental note to teach Tsuna some awareness and caution so the brunet didn't get into trouble. He looked back to the brunet and noticed he was gone.

"Shit!" Reborn cursed. He stepped out from his hiding place, running over to where Tsuna once was. Looking around, he spotted nothing. Panic filled him as he thought of all the possibilities that could have happened in the span of a second, but he let out a choked gasp when a tuft of brown went full force into his stomach.

With a groan, Reborn looked down and met with the beaming face of Tsuna. "'E'bon! Found you!"

Reborn felt played. The damn kid knew he was following him the whole time!

"E'bon come too?" Tsuna asked with a tilt of his head.

Reborn nodded. There was no way he was going to let the child wander around this mutated filled city, alone!

Tsuna brightened even more and grabbed Reborn's hand. He tugged the raven along, showing him rock and pieces of random things. Sometimes he would let go of Reborn's hand to go pick something off the ground before coming back and showing it to Reborn.

'Aren't we a little too carefree?' Reborn thought as he took in their surroundings. They were near the western area, heading towards the northern area. They had been walking without a care in the world(well, Tsuna was) and not once were they attacked. He looked at Tsuna. 'Maybe it's because of Tsuna.'

When Tsuna's warm hand clasped his, he buried his face deeper into the collar of his cloak. 'It's not so bad,' he thought.

When they near what looked like what had been a small office building, Tsuna didn't hesitate to run in, letting go of Reborn's hand in the process. The raven darted after the brunet, following him up two flights of stairs and into the farthest room. Who knew the small brunet was fast?

He slowed when he was a few feet from the door. What had caused Tsuna to run so fast? Shaking the thought from his mind, he entered.

The room was messy, desks were turned over, chairs were tipped, and filing cabinets lay flat on the ground, while writing utensils remained still under a layer of snow. A large hole in the wall was expected along with glass on the floor. Tsuna was sitting next to an overturned file cabinet and desk, looking at something. Reddish-brown ceramic pieces were in front of the brunet, maybe a dead plant.

While Tsuna was busy doing whatever, Reborn wandered around the room. He looked at a few of the desks that were still up straight, a few photos and name plates still on them. A picture of a family of five caught his attention.

Family was a rare thing in the world's current situation. They were people you loved but with times as they are they only got you killed.

A small clatter of something hitting the floor snapped Reborn back to reality. He raised his gun, something all of them carried regardless of the situation, guard up and ready for anything. He whipped around when he felt something touch his cloak, making Tsuna stumble back and hit the floor.

"'E'bon?" The brunet said from the floor with worry in his brown eyes.

Reborn calmed a little, letting out a deep breath.

"It's just you. I'm being paranoid now," he whispered.

Tsuna tilted his head, a clueless look on his face.

Not even a second later something quickly took Tsuna's attention, making the brunet perk and his eyes glimmer orange. He looked back at Reborn and brought a finger up to his mouth. "Shhh!"

Reborn raised a brow as Tsuna scampered out of the room. He didn't ignore Tsuna's warning and quietly followed after the brunet. When they reached the ground floor, Tsuna had grabbed Reborn's cloak before the man could walk out onto the streets. He only stepped back when he spotted a pack of four mutants coming down the street.

Tsuna waved at him to follow into a backroom, and he did. The back room looked just like the rest of the building, messy and covered in dust, but he focused on the door that was partly hidden by a turned over table. Tsuna wasted on time trying to move the table, but with his size and strength, he only moved it a little. When Reborn stepped in, the table was easily moved and they quietly moved out the back door.

Only when they were a good distance away did Reborn stop to look at Tsuna, who was carrying something in his hand. How did the brunet know about the incoming pack? The thought plagued Reborn's mind. Tsuna was weird. Like super weird, but that only reminded him that Tsuna was infected. It was probably some perk that came along with being infected… maybe that's how Tsuna had been staying alive along this long.

When the brunet tripped and tumbled onto the floor, Reborn stopped running. They must be a safe distance away from that pack if Tsuna had tripped because not once had the boy stumbled in their presence. Reborn picked the child up and placed him back on his feet. That's when he noticed that Tsuna was carrying something in his hands.

The brunet noticed his staring and smile. "'E'bon! Look! Look!" Opening his hands and raising them up so Reborn could see, obsidian black met golden yellow.

Reborn could only stare slightly baffled at the creature in Tsuna's hands. Four legs and long body, tailed curled, all colored green. It was a goddamn lizard. A f*cking lizard! In the middle of winter! WINTER! He sighed, slapping a hand over his face.

"Where did you get that?" He said and pointed to the lizard. He was pretty sure that there was nothing alive in the building. Unless… don't tell him that that lizard was half plant.

Tsuna thrust the lizard up again to show Reborn. "'E'bon! 'E'bon! 'E'bon!" Tsuna chanted while jumping up and down.

It was official. They were heading back now. "Let's go back now," he said. The brunet let out a whine, shoulders dropping. Reborn picked the child up, which made the brunet smile and snuggle against him, and started the long trek back to the base.

At base, they are immediately scolded by Luce, while the others whisper and snicker like children.

"And what is that?" Luce says pointing a finger at the green lizard in Tsuna's hair.

"Tsuna picked it up," Reborn answers. "It's a lizard."

"I noticed," Luce said, staring hard at the lizard, who stared back. She smiles a little. "It's kinda cute."

Reborn just groans.

Reborn and Tsuna were officially put under house arrest for a while but that didn't stop the brunet from disappearing, often being found in the most random and weird places in the base. Reborn on the other hand laughed at the misery of Skull and Colonello, who had to tend to his work while he was under house arrest.

So when he returns back to his room, he can't help but shout at the scene he finds. Everyone is completely caught off guard by Reborn's scream and dashed to the raven's room.

"Tsuna!"

The brunet jumped, scampered away from Reborn's room door and hid beneath Verde's lab coat, which says a lot about the situation.

When the raven stomped out, he threw a green lizard onto the floor, who was in the middle of… eating something? The raven's glare darken, making Tsuna hug Verde's leg in terror.

"Reborn what happened? We could hear all you on the other side of the base," Luce said. Reborn's never shouted like that before.

"That-" Reborn pointed a finger at the lizard. "-ate my rifle and my favorite pistol." He held up what was left of the rifle, which was black metal lump in his hand.

Everyone stared at Reborn. It wasn't long before Colonello and Skull started laughing. Fon and Lal had hopeless looks on their faces while Viper's face just said 'are-you-serious'. Verde didn't even look amused.

"That's impossible," Verde said. "Lizards don't eat meta-" They were silenced when a pink tongue shot out from the lizard's mouth and connected the metal lump in Reborn's hand, pulling it into the lizard's mouth.

Reborn gave an unimpressed look. "You were saying." Oh, he was really angry.

"I-I stand correct," Verde said. He looked at the lizard… maybe he should dissect it later.

Reborn turned his attention back to Tsuna. "You!" Picked snagged the brunet before he could run away, holding him up like how a mother cat would do to her kittens. "What are going to do about my rifles?"

"Reborn, you can't blam-"

"I am, Luce," Reborn snapped back. "We aren't going to find weapons like those for a long time and Tsuna brought that back with hi-"

*hiccup*

Everyone looked at Tsuna. Tears started to stream down his face, as he tried hard not to wail. The brunet hiccuped again. Everyone broke.

"Tsuna!"

"Oh god! He's crying! What do we do?!"

"Reborn, you idiot?!"

"Everyone calm down."

"Reborn you're so dead!"

"Like I care!"

Skull eye twitched. He was considered the youngest out of the group but they were all acting like children. Maybe he should take a hint and leave the room like Viper… that didn't sound like a bad idea.

"Come on, Tsuna. Let's leave them to punishing Reborn," Skull said to the brunet, who wrapped his chubby little arms around the man. Skull easily picked him up and exited the room as Luce and the others were verbally assaulting Reborn, who was on the edge of his nerve.

As they left the room, Tsuna's brown eyes focused on Reborn...

When they were halfway across the base, Tsuna struggled from Skull's arms and allowed the older to put him down. The child's tears were gone but his eyes were still red.

"It's not your fault, Tsuna," Skull said. Though it was very much Tsuna's fault for bringing in the lizard into the base.

"S'ull," Tsuna nervously played with the hem of his shirt. The older had a curious look on his face. "Ts-Tsuna." The brunet hiccuped as more tears streamed from his eyes. Skull panicked a little and tried to comfort the Tsuna. "Tsuna. L-Leave!"

"Eh?" The words had Skull freezing, but before he could say anymore, the brunet took off down the hall. Skull was left staring for about three seconds before taking off after the brunet. "Tsuna!"`

He could barely keep up with the brunet, only catching sight of the end of Tsuna's shirt and hearing the light patter of feet. That's when he realized where Tsuna was headed. The door. The door to the outside to be exact. He picked up his pace but lost Tsuna when he reached the garage.

"Tsuna!" He shouted. He scoured the area for any sight of the child but there was none. He looked under and behind everything, almost giving up hope when something hit the floor across the room. He turned and slowly approached a closed cabinet. "Tsuna, you can come out. You're not in trouble."

Just as he was about to open the cabinet, Tsuna jumped out from behind him and kicked the door open to the outside. He paused for a second. "Bye bye." And he was gone, not once glancing.

Skull was frozen but didn't miss the orange blur that bounced out of the room and after Tsuna. "Reborn!"

"Ah…" the teen sighed as he walked. He glanced around the area, hoping to spot a familiar tuft of brown or spark of orange but didn't see any. His eyes caught sight of the small figure, watching from the roofs of cars, further down the street. "Where did he go?"

He ran a hand through his curly black hair as a small tug on his clothes caught his attention. Looking down he met with a single purple eye and a blank face of a girl. He gave a small smile, patted the girl on the head and squatted down to her level.

The girl tilted her head, worry in her eye. "I'm worried."

"I know, you are, we all are. We're going to find him and bring him home," the teen reassured. "And you can give him a big scolding."

The girl nodded her head, she liked the sound of that, and laced her fingers with the teen's hand. The teen gave a comforting squeeze and tugged her along.

The teen smiled as the girl stepped the smallest bit closer to him before focusing on the small figure down the street. He could only smile bigger when the small figure perked up and examined the area.

A sinister smile bloomed across the small figure's face before he dashing off, towards the commercial side of town. Not far behind him, a small yellow puff ball followed while the teen and girl just walked behind at a slower pace.

"And it looks like we won't have to wait too long," the teen said with a small smile. "Let's bring him home."

Luce released a small sigh. Behind her Verde was quiet, busy looking over a map, while Reborn glared daggers at everything. She sighed again.

"Reborn, cannot you glare?" Luce tried. She knew he was angry, for one, with Tsuna, and two, himself. If he hadn't yelled at Tsuna, the brunet wouldn't have run away… then again if Tsuna hadn't brought that lizard back with them, then none of this would have happened. "I know you were the closest to Tsuna, but you can't beat yourself up about it."

Reborn eyes flickered to her but quickly returned to looking forward.

"Oh come on," Luce tried again. Verde just shook his head at her attempts. "You can apologize when we find him… that's if we find him." She trailed off at the end, becoming quiet.

Reborn just walked the slightest bit faster.

"It amazes me that a small child can get him like that," Verde commented. "From the information I have, Reborn wouldn't think twice about a child, especially one like Tsuna."

Luce thought for a moment. "I wonder what Reborn was thinking when he found Tsuna."

After that, they walked in silence.

About ten minutes of walking through the town with no sign of Tsuna, an explosion occurred which was quickly followed by a howl of some kind. The trio froze at the howl like noise. It was the same kind of noise made by Mutants. Oh god no!

"That's near Hachi Park!" Luce shouted. A familiar cape flapping passed her had her yelling, but her calls went unheard as Reborn dashed ahead.

The woman clicked her tongue, a rare occurrence, and told Verde to radio the others, which the green haired scientist complied to. Luce didn't waste a second going after Reborn, who was already quite far.

Another explosion happened and Luce felt the dread filled her as she ran. "Please, don't be Tsuna!" She prayed. Behind her, Verde followed at a slightly slower pace, not the most athletic of the group.

Arriving at the park, Luce wasn't surprised to find Reborn clutching Tsuna close to him. But the sight of the park was more of a mess than before. There were a few craters that dotted the ground and parts of the playground were completely ripped from the ground. Not wasting time, she quickly placed herself at Reborn's side, the raven focused on the pack in front of them, and took a look at Tsuna-! Her face fell at the condition the boy was in.

Tsuna was shivering from the cold, clutching his jacket tightly, and breathing heavily, ragged almost. His eyes were barely open but Luce could see that the color was different, not the familiar brown but a fiery orange.

"Luce," Reborn's voice said suddenly, causing the woman to look up. "How much ammo did you bring?"

She felt her sides. "Not much, I didn't expect Tsuna to get this far." Curses! She should have been more prepared.

A growl caught her attention just as the pack attacked. Luce was able to dodge the oncoming attack but was separated from Reborn, who held Tsuna close. She pulled her gun out, cocking it back, and pointed it at the Mutants. She wasn't as skilled as Reborn but the monsters were close enough for her to shoot without missing.

She dodged left and fired, killing the already weak Mutant which was quickly devoured by its pack. She then kicked up a pile of snow, filling the air, and used it as a cover. She tried to make her way towards Reborn, who looked like he was having just as much trouble.

Firing several times, she aimed for a few of the mutants but missed as the monsters played around with her. She was able to make her way through the mutants, killing two mutants in the process, and found a hiding spot behind a few bushes and trees.

She frowned as she slipped the empty magazine out and loaded the full one in. It was her last one. A snapped twig to her right and she immediately raised her gun in that direction.

"Calm down," Colonello's voice whispered through the bushes. The blond broke through the bushes, Lal following closely behind, and settled near Luce. "It's just us."

"Oh thank god," she sighed. She gave a small relieved smile to the pair. "Where are the others?"

"Verde watching from the perimeter, just in case more Mutants come," Colonello answered. "The other group is making their way towards Reborn."

"Luce," Lal said and handed Luce one of the assault rifles they brought, which Luce happily accepted.

"That's a large pack," Colonello commented. Most packs contained a max of four or five, but this one had at least ttwenty, not including the ones Luce and Reborn had already killed. It usually took two people to take out a regular sized pack but this… this was just insane.

"Quit complaining," Lal snapped quietly.

The trio peeked out the bushes, and in the distance, Reborn fought off the pack while holding Tsuna close. It was really dangerous but it looked like Reborn wasn't going to let Tsuna go anytime soon. They looked between themselves. It was going to be hard to get over there with this many Mutants around.

They began quietly bouncing ideas off of each other when a loud high pitched noise broke through the air.

Reborn had seen Tsuna struggling with the small white whistle the child kept around his neck. Everytime he tried to blow into it, the brunet would go into a coughing fit. Whatever the whistle was supposed to was going to help them in a way, right? That's why Tsuna was so desperate to let it ring? So when Tsuna had once again failed to blow the whistle, Reborn took his chances.

He didn't hesitate to place the whistle against his lips, taking a deep breath, and blew. The high pitched noise rang in the air and everything seemed to slow down. Whatever the whistle was supposed to do wasn't happening but just as one of the Mutants jumped towards the pair. Reborn eyes went wide as a small orange blur shot passed him and slammed into the jumping Mutant. The monster and the orange blur were sent flying and crashed into a car, creating a cloud of snow.

Around the park, several people shot up in surprise. Behind him was Viper, while to his left was Fon and Skull. Across the park, Colonello, Lal and Luce were just as baffled.

What was that?!

The pack of Mutants had moved away from Reborn and towards the cloud of snow. Reborn used this chance and took a few steps back towards Viper. Just as he passed the brunet in his arms to the cloaked person, the cloud of snow quickly dispersed and orange blur reappeared, landing in front of Reborn. Taking a good look at it, Reborn instantly noticed it was a cat… a cat with a flaming mane.

The flaming cat released a roar that seemed to shake the entire area. They watched in amazement as the Mutants stood petrified and frozen.

"They're not moving," Skull said. He looked as none of the Mutants seemed to move, in fact, they seemed to almost back down from the flaming cat, a few of the farther ones from them taking a step back.

The cat let a low growl from its throat as if threatening the Mutants. There was a stand still between the cat and twenty or so Mutants. The flames around its neck flickered wildly in a threatening manner as its eyes narrowed into what seemed like a glare.

The silence seemed to last forever before the cat lunged forward, sinking its small fangs into the nearest Mutant. The Mutant released a screech and went down as the cat tore through it with ease. The rest of the pack seemed to back off and scatter back into the city. The cat gave chase once finished with the first Mutant, and easily tore through the remaining ones that failed to get away fast enough.

"Okay… what just happened?" Colonello asked out loud, as he trotted over with Lal and Luce.

No one could really answer as they tried to process what had just happened.

The cat soon bounded back towards them and settled not far from their group. It seemed to smile at them before turning around to face the city like a sentry on guard. It glanced back at them, eyes trained on the small child in Reborn's arms. It glanced around once more before trotting over to Tsuna. Its dangerous demeanor seemed to melt away as it came closer.

"Gao," the cat meowed, leaping onto Reborn's shoulder and peering down at Tsuna. Reborn was surprised at the warmth that the cat generated and that the flames didn't burn him.

Tsuna opened his eyes slightly and smiled. "N-Natsu…" He reached a hand up and the cat rubbed against it. The cat climbed down and crawled onto Tsuna's chest. The kid's arms wrapped around the cat, hugging him close.

"His condition is getting better," Viper said suddenly. "Whatever that cat is doing is helping."

The others quickly gathered around them, all of them checking on Tusna.

"What should we do?"

"Should we move?"

"Can Tsuna even handle that?"

"What if the mutants come back?"

"Then we need to move?"

"Wait, wait, wait," Luce said, holding a hand up to silence everyone. "Let's take a breather for a moment. We need to think rationally here." There was a second of silence before Luce spoke again. "I don't think Tsuna would be able to make it back to the base so let's find some shelter nearby and wait out the night."

"Wait out the night! Are you crazy!?" Lal Mirch snapped. "We're sitting ducks out here, especially at night."

"Yeah," Verde agreed. "We all know what happens to mutants at night."

Everyone was silent as Verde pointed out the problem. Mutants were more active at night than in the day. A person would encounter more mutants at night than in the day for reasons that have yet to be discovered. If they stayed any longer without any sort of protection, they were most likely going to get attacked, which was something they all wanted to avoid.

"We'll have to leave Tsuna," Verde conituned. He knew some of the others didn't want to hear that but it needs to be said. Before they wouldn't have hesitated to leave someone not part of their group but since Tsuna, things have changed a little.

"But I don't want to leave him here," Skull said back. "Tsuna has to come with us."

"He's a danger," Verde pointed out.

"And he saved us!?" Skull shouted back.

The two continued to banter while the others watched in silence, weighing in the pros and cons of everything. No one really wanted to leave the brunet behind but Verde was right when he said that the boy was a danger to them.

A long stretched meow from the flaming cat caught their attention. It moved a few feet in front of them and out of nowhere a small yellow bird landed on its head, looking as if it was nuzzling the cat's head. The cat let out what sounded like a pleased sound as the bird tweeted.

"H-Hibird," everyone heard Tsuna say. The brunet struggled out of Reborn's arms but failed. So Tsuna held out his small hand, allowing the bird to perch, and gave it an exhausted smile at it and gave it a pat on the head. "Hibird!"

"Tsunayoshi! Tsunayoshi!" the bird tweeted.

"It talks," Luce said in surprise. When was the last time she saw a bird that can talk? Probably a long time ago, before all this happened. She let out a relieved sigh as Tsuna handled the bird with care and ease that a sickly person couldn't have. "Well, at least he's feeling better."

"We can probably move if Tsuna's feeling better," Fon said with a smile. "I say we can at least make it into the safe zone."

They all nodded in agreement but there still seemed to be some tension between them. They busied themselves with planning a safe route home while Reborn kept his attention on Tsuna.

"Tsuna, let's go back," Reborn called out to the brunet.

Tsuna turned, looked at him, before shaking his head. "Tsuna go home."

Reborn didn't think much of those words and held his hand out. "Yeah, we're going home."

Tsuna still didn't move and shook his head again. "No. Tsuna go ho-Ahh!"

Then out of nowhere, something struck a nearby snow mound, kicking up a snow, and causing Tsuna to scream. Reborn, having been the closest to Tsuna, jumped back when he felt blood lust coming from somewhere, as the others turned their attention back to Tsuna.

Worry filled Reborn as the cloud slowly dissipated. He heard Tsuna say something before something, someone, charged through the snow. Reborn dodged as the person swung before aiming at Reborn's side. He easily blocked the blow and jumped back as did the other person.

"No!" Tsuna shouted, coming between Reborn and whoever was attacking him. "Kyoya!"

Reborn twitched at the name. It was one Tsuna had mentioned before but never really talked about.

"Reborn, you alright?" Fon asked, standing next to him along with the others.

"What the hell was that?" Colonello said. He had barely seen what was thrown but after it landed, he was able to get a good look at it. It was a metal stick that looked very similar to a tonfa, in fact it might as well be a tonfa.

Luce let out a gasp as the person in the cloud fully stepped out, branshing the metal tonfa he held in his other hand. It was a boy, maybe older than Tsuna, with raven hair and steel gray eyes. What was most alarming was that the boy looked eerily like Fon, who was staring with wide eyes and surprise.

"Kyoya, no!" Tsuna shouted again, running up to the boy and grabbing him.

"Little animal, stay out of this," the boy-Kyoya-said. He tried to shake off Tsuna but the brunet clung on, tightly. The raven growled at Tsuna, and it's almost cute how the two seemed to argue in their weird ways of speaking, with Tsuna shouting single words and the raven's weird animal speak.

They only stopped arguing when a little girl appeared from the nearby street. She easily split them apart and scolded both with a cute glaring look. Tsuna smiled at the sight of her, hugging and clinging onto her, while the raven glared at her a little before shooting them a vicious smile.

"Looks like you've made some friends," a voice says, catching the group's attention. They whip around to see a teen, who looks about 17 or 18, approaching them. He had one eye lazily closed while his other eye was focused on them. "You're suck a trouble magnet, Tsuna."

Tsuna beams at the new arrival, squealing and runs towards him. The teen patted Tsuna on the head while the child hugged his legs.

"You are…?" Luce asked.

"Lambo," the teen says, holding a hand out to her. "Tsuna's older brother in a way."

Luce takes it with a hesitant smile, still a bit wary. "Name's Luce."

"Lambo!" Tsuna shouts as the teen releases Luce's hand. The teen hums in response as Tsuna grabs her still extended hand before she can retract it. "Take home?!"

"Eh?!" Everyone says and looks at Tsuna like he's crazy.

"Bad weather. Go home together!" Tsuna cheers, jumping up and down.

The teen takes a deep breath before grabbing Tsuna, pushing him away from the group. He stumbles forward and the girl grabs Tsuna before nodding at Lambo and dragging Tsuna towards Kyoya. Lambo smiles and waves, and when Tsuna's completely loses interest in them, he turns towards them.

"So, what's up with you guys?" Lambo asked. His eyes trail to the weapons that each of them hold and shrinks a little from the looks he gets.

"We should be asking you that," Lal almost snaps.

"Alright," Lambo answers. "I've been looking for Tsuna." He looks at the boy playing with the other two kids with a smile. "He went missing about two months ago-"

"Two months!?" Luce shouted. She could not believe how irresponsible this teen was! "What do you mean two months!? He's only been with us for about two weeks."

Lambo crossed his arms, raising a brow at them. "Tsuna tends to do his own thing despite whatever I say. He'll disappear for days and weeks on end but he always comes…most of the time."

"You need to be more responsible than that!" Luce could feel herself getting kind of person just lets a kid wander around!?

"Look," the teen says, uncrossing his arms and stuffing his pockets. "Tsuna is his own person okay. He's a kid, but he's pretty capable. Besides, he doesn't go anywhere without Natsu." With a tilt of his head, their gazes fall on the flaming cat rolling in the snow asking belly pets.

Tsuna scampers back over to them, a pout on his face. "Bad weather! Go now!"

"Okay, okay," they hear Lambo answer. "So… your place nearby or…"

"It's close by," Luce answers.

"Cool!" Lambo smiles. "Lead the way and I'll explain a bit more on the way back."

Pausing in his walking, a young blond perked up suddenly. The rumble of vehicles next to him continued along with the chatter from his traveling companions. He looks over to the snow covered field on his right, in the distance he can faintly see the outline of a city, no doubt ravaged like every other city left in the world.

"Something wrong?" his redheaded partner calls from his left. He noticed the blond had stopped listening to him and was acting strange. "Thinking about him again."

The blond nodded. "Yeah. I hope he's okay." Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a golden pocket watch. He unlatched the cover and stared at the picture on the inside. It was a family of four, hugging each other with bright smiles. His eyes focused on the small brunet buried in the arms of the brown haired woman. "Tsuna…"

It's been so long since he had last seen his baby brother. Even though his baby brother was young and could barely fend for himself, he had a feeling he was still alive and safe somewhere. With that though ingrained in his mind, he wouldn't stop searching for his baby brother no matter what. After all he had promised his parents, he would keep his brother safe.

"Come on, the others will get upset if we're behind," the redhead spoke and turned to walk away. He saw that the far away look in his friend's eyes that was still there and called out again. "Giotto?"

The blond, Giotto, turned away from the field and rejoined his friend. "Coming, G."
