I do not own How to Train Your Dragon, Vikingskool, or anything. Dreamworks and Cartoon Saloon respectively own them.

The gjallarhorn bellowed in the air as a Hammerson blew with all his might. The door to his classroom flew open as his students took their seats, most of them with helmets and weapons as they sat down, except for a boy named Arni, who wore a hood. Beside the boy were his friends, Ylva and Erik, all in the front row.

"Listen up, Vikings!" Hammerson yelled, walking to his desk in the fonrt. His thick arms behind his back as his usual stern bearded face looked away from the students. "After yesterday's performance, we will be repeating ace throws."

"Yay!" Ylva cheered, bringing her oversized axe to the front. Standing up, the girl grinned gleefully, being the most enthusiastic.

"But I thought we did pretty good last time," Erik said.

"Says the failure who barely hit the target!" A taunting voice came from the back, making the blonde boy frown.

"Not good enough!" Hammerson bellowed. With a stomp of his foot, he pointed out the window. "You think hitting one target is enough!? A viking must be ready to hit a thousand targets, should it come to battle! Now let's go!"

The class got up as they raced to the door, but the exit was blocked by a gigantic woman in white and gold armor. Using her spear like a staff, she entered the room, pushing the students back.

"Headmistress Eira, what is going on?" Hammerson walked in respect. The head of the school never walked in unless it was important or dire.

"Calm yourself, Hammerson. I just came to let you know of a new student I found during my stroll." The headmistress's calm tone settled any matter of grievance as she turned to the door. "Come on in."

The class turned to see a teenage boy of their age walking in. In contrast to the mostly bulky to husky build, with some lean and lanky students, he was skinny by Viking standards, scrawny would be a better description as he possibly made those like Arni and Erik seem muscular. His bell shaped brown hair made him stand out with his simple tunic and vest with not a hint of metal on him, save for an unusual peg leg.

The boy waved slowly with a forced smile against the stares of the students. Mr. Hammerson scratched his beard as such a little boy, nature what to say.

"Who is this?" Erik asked.

Ylva jumped up to the boy on all fours, sniffing around the newcomer in one circle before standing on her legs.

"Smells different," Ylva said. "Not like a Viking. I mean he is, but there's something else."

"Well that's a new one," the boy said in a dry nasally voice.

"Hiccup, why don't you introduce yourself," Eira said.

"His name is Hiccup!" Erik yelled. The class snorted then erupted into laughter, save for Arni and Ylva, who just gave curious glances.

"Ahem!" Headmistress Eira coughed, killing the humor with a stern glare.

"Ms. Astrid, why is everyone laughing?" Ylva asked.

"Because, this Viking is from a clan far into the Northern Archipelago. I found him during my stroll, where he seemed lost, and offered him a place at the school while we sort out his problems," Headmistress Eira explained. "Now then, let's try again. Hiccup? You mind introducing yourself?"

Hiccup sighed walking to the desk. "I think the laughing already meant introductions were over," he muttered. He turned to the class with a sigh, just wanting to get things over with.

"So...as you apparently heard, My name's Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, coming from the Hooligan clan on the Isle of Berk, soon-to-be-no-longer best kept secret that is twelve days North of Hopeless and a few degrees South of Freezing to Death in the Meridian of Misery. Somehow I ended up stranded from my clan where Ms. Astrid here found us—me, and I'll be here until she can find my people and let us—me, go home."

Headmistress Eira nodded with a smile at Hoccup, but the rest of the room stared with puzzled expressions.

"What kind of a name is Hiccup?" Arni asked himself. It was not a traditional Viking name found anywhere he heard of. Even Ylva was curious as she kept sniffing Hiccup.

"Now. Now. There will be plenty of times for questions as you get to know Mr. Haddock. Until then—" Headmistress Eira gestured to the door. "—you still have classes."

The students groaned as they walked out the door, more curious about the new guy than throwing axes, but they obeyed. Hiccup glanced at everybody. He turned to the headmistress, who nodded at him, before he left.

Hammerson stayed behind with Ms. Astrid.

"What is this?" He asked. "I've never heard of Berk or a Viking naming their child hiccup before. And his arrival sounds...off. I don't know how to describe it."

The headmistress turned to the teacher. This would be the part where her face would turn stern, but her smile never vanished.

"Mr. Hammerson, I believe our world and young Hiccup's are going expand. As for his arrival, all will be revealed later," Eira replied.

As soon as I heard Cartoon Saloon was doing a Viking series, I was full of joy. It wasn't long before I thought of this crossover and had been waiting eagerly for the English version to come out.

That said, if you want to check out Vikingskool, you'll need a VPN and set it to a secret in the UK to see the first ten episodes they have in Disney so far. I'll update this when I can, but I wanted to establish things with a few chapters before updating more regularly.

Anyway, enjoy! And have a nice day!
