The goddess waited to find her husband and her friend, as she waited and watched as their daughters continued to work on the paperwork and seeing them work on one file after another, filing, checking, and doing all this paperwork did something to her that she would never admit, filled her with a feeling some other parents feel when they see their children do something like this, filled her with both utter joy and pride.
Thanks to the way time does not affect the place where she calls home, she did not have the usual perception of time, so seeing her daughters to her it was as if they all existed and did not exist at one point in her life, and to think that there was one time when she used to laugh with her sister when her own sister told her that one day she would have a whole bunch of girls with a gaming nerd, she found that so funny that she was having a hard time breathing. But she would have it no other way than to have all these girls be part of her life, and she would not acknowledge or even thank her sister about it, but she would not want to be without her nerdy husband either, no matter how many times another goddess tried to steal him from her.
In fact, the first time they met she could not stand the guy, he was so negative it was a wonder to her how the hell does this guy found any reason to even live. This guy back then was so horribly dark and depressing that he would cause a guy who was attempting suicide to actually want to make his life better, not because what he heard convinced him, but rather because the guy who talked was so much more pathetic and worse off that he was, that his life looked like absolute heaven by comparison.
She was shocked that this guy was so utterly negative that it made a guy who was quite literally thinking of jumping off a building roof look at the life of the guy who was supposed to talk him to reconsider and find that this guy's life was thousands of times even worse than his own, in fact, the guy who nearly committed suicide went back to college got a psychiatry degree and open the first planetwide Suicide Helpline. This guy was so dark, miserable, and negative that had she not chosen him as her future husband and managed to fall in love with him, her most hated rival would have taken him for herself instead.
This rival goddess was so utterly pissed that she took this one depressed nerd away from even having a date with her, that she actually created a negative clone of him and of course, his friend, these two clones became her ever loyal minions, and were the cause of so many problems, that she figured that reality would have been screwed over fifty times over had she actually gotten to marry the man who later became her husband. So having him and his friend actually fix and undo all the work of those clones she created was a way to not so politely tell her rival to quite frankly and quite bluntly tell her to screw off.
Which in return ended up pissing her rival off so badly that she actually sent them before they even died the first time, to actually murder them, she wanted to kill them to prevent them from becoming the servants of the goddess she hated so much or even one of them from marrying her, but she forgot a little something called self-fulfilling prophesies. By sending Ziro and Zector to kill those two, she actually causes them to meet the goddess, and would eventually cause Hector to marry her. So in a funny way, this evil goddess who wanted them dead instead became their matchmaker, and thanks to her Hector and the rival she hates so much ended up happily married with a ton of kids.
She didn't not even want to think about the horrors and all the plans their little spawns actually ruined. Their father was bad news to this evil goddess, who still very much wanted to make him her own, but his daughters were absolute nightmares, they didn't even have to go to the different realities, just by doing paperwork, they could change and manage all the changes their father and his friend, who for some strange reason they call their uncle. These girls were an absolute pain in the ass for her, to make matters worse she initially took the creation of the evil goddess of lust, she made something of a magical book that granted people lust-based powers, the thing was supposed to grant the person who used that book amazing, nearly cosmic powers, but they all revolved around lustful things, they would eventually create harems with multiple women, immensely large ones.
The idiots even believed it to be a game, since the book was quite literally called the Harem Game, this book was sick beyond all measure, it would grant them a harem alright, and amazing power, but the minute they either reached a preset time or they quit being players, their powers would banish and so would anything that happened during the game, so these women would go from loving members of a harem, to absolutely rabidly pissed off women who would want to tear the former player and each other to pieces. The Harem Game in reality consumed the very souls and magic power used by the player and the members of the harem that is why all the powers and everything that happened in the game would vanish once the game was over.
Thanks to that evil book the evil goddess of Lust, would absorb all the power collected by the book, it was a tasty, and almost ironically sweet little treat for her, until the book fell in the hands of Hector and Hiro, and thanks to the abilities they gained in their last reality mission, they managed to do the unthinkable, the rewrote the damn book, and instead of being a game based on everything lustful, they made it into the gamer powers book. She asked the goddess of Lust to downright kill them for tarnishing and destroying her precious little creation, but to the shock of this evil goddess, she did not want to do that at all.
In fact, the evil goddess of Lust which why don't we call her Eris, was so impressed by what they did, that she actually wanted to meet Hiro and eventually marry him, she had fallen in love with him because there was no one in any reality who loved harem stories and realities more than Hiro and her did. The evil goddess who was the rival to Hector's divine wife did not know whether to feel sorry for Hiro or say that this would ruin his life so much worse than anything she could ever dream of. So in a weird sense sending Ziro to kill him actually kept him from meeting Eris in the first place, so she technically did something unintentionally to protect Hiro while at the same time doing something that she intended to cause Hector to die horribly.
In most romantic literature this would be explained by simply saying something along the lines of if this asshole is not going to be mine, I don't want anyone else to get with him. The sad thing is while she would love to marry Hiro, she is not against also marrying Hector she is quite literally the embodiment of every lustful feeling that has ever or would ever exist. This upset both Hector's wife and her rival so much that they literally stuck her into a reality where she could essentially marry a pirate by the name of Sinbad, yes ironic, Sin Bad, and when she met him she found him to be such a pain in the ass that she fell in love with Hiro even more.
As they finished their usual meal and Hector thanked one of his daughters for making time to cook for him, they walked into the office of his wife, seeing many of his daughters working hard and at least they didn't seem on edge, the pace was casual and relaxed even if they were in fact working very hard.
Hector even felt like he was going to go in and be told there was no mission for them at all, that the next merged reality was so perfect and serene that it needed no help at all. Hiro laughed and said if such a place existed, they might as label it Utopia because if it did they knew of at least two people who would jump at the chance to fuck it up. Hector mentioned there were more than two at least four that would love to do that, six if they were really unlucky.
"Honestly Hiro, I would not be surprised we end up getting sent to one of those realities only you would love, it was bad enough that demon infested one where dear god that demoness was showing off her tits to the entire club which she was president of, her right-hand woman was a nightmare and her tits were even bigger than the ones the club president had. You always end up with a gang of poor unfortunate women who become part of your harem, and, I ended up with people who are the doppelgangers of people that if I didn't know any better accidentally ended up in that reality either due to accident, or failed experiments."
Hiro looked at Hector while glaring at him, "Fine, just to make you stop complaining about this, I promise that in the next reality we are sent into you will have actual women from that reality, I hope this will make you stop complaining about this, you are married to the goddess we serve, you are one of the luckiest bastards I know and yet you still complain about this, how greedy are you?"
They were walking into the office when Hector finally responded, "Look Naruto I don't want to hear about being Greedy from you, the guy who is the single most greedy person in our entire class. You would claim or take all the women in any of the realities we go into simply because it would be far more fun for you, and care little about the consequences." Hiro only retorted that this was no better than the pot calling the kettle black.
They saw her looking at them arguing and knew they could not continue to drag this on even more than they already had done, "You probably think that the next mission I am sending you two on is by far going to be to a place based on a reality that either one of you hate beyond reason, the delay due to my hesitation has become as an almost reliable signal that such a mission is next, but sadly the next merged reality was created by the actions of a person you both know very well, the mad scientists you know as Orochimaru.
Hector in some of these realities had spent years being the student of Orochimaru and the snake sages. He desperately wanted to deny the possibility of this happening, that Orochimaru had no way to cause realities to merge as she mentioned, but deep down he knew that if it had something to do with his crazy research, it could have happened unintentionally something that should happen naturally which thanks to two idiots he was thinking about, now was the rare case rather than the norm. "The merged reality between the two realities that merged was so seamless it was practically perfect, so perfect in fact that we could have used that place as a place for vacations and relaxation, it was based on the Samurai Girls one of them was and the other of course on the Naruto universe. It had to be since the merge happened when Orochimaru began to analyze and study the differences between Samurai and Ninjas."
Hector was quick to mention that traditionally there weren't that many differences, they both served as part of the military, ninjas dealt with combat covertly and were more instrumental in scouting and studying the enemy while using tactics to slow or poison their enemy, the Samurai were the regular troops that dealt with the enemy openly in normal combat, but even then the usage of a sword was the last resort and the preferred method much like the ninja was long range combat, ninja used throwing weapons and explosives, samurai used spears, halberds, and bows. So finding common ground between the skills of a Ninja and the skills of a Samurai should not be such a monumental task, after all, some Samurai actually trained in stealth when they trained to be effective long-range archers.
The goddess then explained that in a much different reality, many things were different the fact that most men were trained to be Generals and women were trained to be Samurai was something that everyone simply accepted, and considered part of the norm, Konoha had long expanded to encompass the entire world, in this reality the only reason everyone survived the invasion that Kaguya had erroneously tried to prevent, was in no small part thanks to the amazing research conducted by one of the most hated former enemies of Konoha, the mad scientist known as Orochimaru.
The fact remains that in fact, the Otsutsuki invasion caused the death of almost everyone on the entire planet. It could be said that had it not been for Orochimaru their evil plan would have actually succeeded and the earth would be nothing more than a lifeless rock floating through the vast emptyness of space. The way he saved everyone was first by restarting and reestablishing the entire ecosystem by using seals that he developed when he was making his infamous cursed seals.
The sad thing is that Orochimaru was the only person that survived the invasion and that was thanks to him transferring his soul into a white Zetsu. Using techniques that grant his soul immortality and thus since the white Zetsu could handle it, he was able to survive the invasion, but being all alone sort of sucks, so the second thing he did was to begin a massive cloning project where he basically made clones of every animal and every person who has ever lived in the elemental nations. Essentially making Orochimaru the father to every living creature and plant on the entire planet.
He brought back every single ninja that had ever lived and much to his disappointment and chagrin actually achieved his desired goal of becoming Hokage, and he found out that Hiruzen in his youth had done him an immense favor by not picking him as his successor because the bureaucratic and managerial nightmare of being Hokage would have driven any normal citizen insane. Never mind that when he became Hokage he quite literally had to do everything by himself, and with the ecosystem at the time gone dormant, the food choices were not exactly either tasteful or plentiful.
Bake mush, Fried mush, Roasted mush, and Stewed mush, it is still food that was mostly a fungus of one sort or another and they all tasted horrible, like eating actual dirt considering he did not know how to make the food of the past. It took Orochimaru a grand total of four hundred years before Konoha was rebuilt and there were enough clones of the people he knew to populate the city, and another three hundred for that to expand to the rest of the world. This is insane because essentially Orochimaru who always had a godhood complex, essentially became the all-father to all life on the entire planet, is immortal, and essentially became the god of the rebuilt world.
It was many attempts and many experiments to keep his mind from breaking completely after so many years of isolation that saved his mind, it was in his own words his own personal hell, and to avoid it he didn't care that he had to bring back some of the people that stood in his way, and some people he absolutely hated beyond reason. The fact that in order to have company he revived Jiraiya of all people, should show how desperate he was in order to avoid this. He also made clones of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Sai, the four brats that kept messing his plans up, Sasuke especially since in the end it was his obsession with taking over his body that nearly caused his death at the hands of Sasuke's overprotective brother, Itachi.
But with all this time one of his experiments had him accidentally travel to another reality, where he found something utterly insane, Samurai were only women and men had little to no power whatsoever, these Samurai Girls as he decided to call them had powers very similar to that of ninjas, and there was only one man per nation that could essentially give them a power boost and unlock these powers, they refer to this person as a General. To Orochimaru, that place was insane, for the division of power to be split by gender was ridiculous Kunoichi and Ninja both have the power of using Chakra and thus Ninjutsu, to say only one gender in this case women had this power was so sexist that it was insulting to him, never mind that he had swapped bodies with several people by transferring his soul into their bodies, and thus at any given point he actually was a she and vice versa.
He knew that his time in this reality was limited so he did the only thing he could sent twelve million shadow clones, to take a copy of every scientific book they could get their hands on, and collect DNA samples from every single Samurai and General there was in that reality. He could not stay in that reality long enough to properly study them so instead he was going to go back to his own reality and clone them, if he could study the clones and thanks to the knowledge from the books the shadow clones took, he could figure out what was the same and what was different from that reality and his own, even improve his own reality.
Little did he know that by doing that research and even attempting to bring into his reality technology and scientific knowledge from another reality, he had begun the slow process of transforming his reality into more of the Samurai Girls' reality. He was too involved in his research to notice or care that his own reality was morphing and changing the longer he did that research. The technology was actually something that would have been developed in his reality but thanks to those books their scientific knowledge and technological advancement received a massive boost, evading many years of trials, errors, and disasters.
The world began to change in horrible ways the technology proved to be rather easy to integrate into the thing Konoha already had, the hardest thing was that he had caused changes in the very minds and souls of people he had brought back into this world, men and women who were ninjas in his world many of them wanted to become what he called generals and soldiers to have bands of them together as their own personal army, but how could these people who became generals and some prefer to be called lords, would be able to use their power and armies in a world at peace, well Orochimaru without intended to had brought back also the very concept of war.
These generals fought each other, many of which broke off into independent kingdoms and nations the unified world began to divide into a vast array of nations and one was where Konoha had been which went through a bloody war to unify and eventually became simply known as Japan. Naruto and the others went through many reincarnations as time went by but Orochimaru had made it so that these people would never forget anything they learned, he attempted to do this so that the mistakes that would appear in history would not be repeated, however, this also means that the grudges from past lives also would persist.
In the current age Japan was ruled by a single man, the Emperor, and each regional province that made up Japan was supposed to be ruled and administrated by a single lord or Daimyo. These positions were earned by nobles and commoner candidates who earned the right to attend the imperial academy in Tokyo. Konoha was still present and it was the place where Naruto and Sasuke regardless of how many times they had died before would always reincarnate. Naruto in his current life however was much different than in other realities, his mother and father were high nobles and his father was the Hokage, the man in charge of the safety and prosperity of Konoha, and his mother was the head of their law enforcement as being one of the most brutal law enforcers anyone had the misfortune of getting on her bad side.
After the goddess was finished with her explanation Hector and Hiro started to disappear.
"Sasuke and his family were also different, unlike in other realities his family was not killed, and his brother did not need to make a self-sacrifice plan to protect him, it could be because strangely enough Naruto and Sasuke, they never realized that in other realities the friends they went with to the local academy were actually men, when they knew them as girls. For instance, Itachi was not the big brother of Sasuke but rather his big sister, and Naruto was not an only child but he had a twin sister by the name of Naruko.
Kiba, Shikamaru, and Choji were all girls who would drive any boy up the wall with their crazy stories about dreaming of living as boys, it was insanity to some people, except for Naruto and Sasuke because they had talked with Orochimaru about the possibility existence of other realities, and the old man had told both boys they were right, other realities do in fact exist, and he had actually traveled into at least one of them.
During the final year of the academy, something happened that nobody expected, a group of foreigners went to the Hyuuga family to establish economic trade and diplomatic relations between their nation and Japan, it was of course a lie, they wanted to steal one of the daughters of the family to either hold her for ransom or to see what they could gain by either using the girl or studying her body. Naruto was not going to stand for this, a person being kidnapped, so as a mere teen he fought and defeated the kidnappers, he kept Hinata safe while he knocked out all the kidnappers, but there was no guarantee the kidnappers would not have more men waiting to attack and take her again.
As the kidnappers were taken into custody and knew they would be tortured into confessing why would they do something so evil, the looks of dread and misery could be seen on the faces of these kidnappers' faces. Hinata after seeing her father did something that no one had ever expected, she ran towards Naruto feeling nothing but sheer gratitude for saving her and keeping her safe and in an almost comical manner she slipped and tumbled against Naruto causing the boy to lose his balance and as he fell Hinata unintentionally kissed his lips.
For a brief second their cores united and linked in a way that no one had expected, chakra from Naruto flowed into Hinata causing her to remember all the skills and abilities she had ever acquired through countless reincarnations, Hinata had become a soldier and her general was the boy who saved her, Naruto. Naruto also acquired all the skills and memories like her but in his case, he remembered being the servant of a goddess, and his life as a man named Hiro. The coming days have proven that becoming a Soldier and General were the right decisions after all, their powers and abilities grew exponentially, so much so that the academy could not have them take the final exam at all, since their power was so massive and gave them such a higher advantage that this would not be fair to the other students.
Unlike Naruto, Sasuke completed the final exam with his girlfriend first and went on a date and at the end his girlfriend who kissed him was a cousin of Naruto, Karin Uzumaki, but since nobody even knew they were dating, Sasuke and Karin were able to attend the final exam without issue, unlike Hinata and Naruto who simply got the scrolls for them to attend the imperial academy without having to do the final exam at all."
But as soon as they kissed it registered in the system Orochimaru would set up in order to know when a new General and Soldier was formed.
