CHAPTER 1
The Older Brother
"What is it, Sengoku? Why did you call me when my Grandson is being born?"
Sengoku could tell Garp was annoyed. Well he could say that he was right to be annoyed as he had caught Roger just somedays ago. It was Roger's Execution today. It was weird that his Grandson was born as soon as Gol D Roger would die but this was Dragon's Son and Garp's Grandson and both of them were well respected Marine Vice Admiral.
"We have to go and stop Shiki. He is coming here and we have to stop him before he uses his Devil Fruit and destroy any Marine Officer that are here."
Garp sighed. He would have to do this quickly. He took of his Coat and tossed it at Sengoku.
"Hold it for me. I will end it in one shot."
Garp used Geppo and quickly took to the Sky as Shiki floated into view. Shiki was shocked as Garp came at him at high speed. Before Shiki could do anything, Garp coated his fist in Haoshoku Haki and punched him.
"Galaxy Impact."
A massively powerful shockwave appeared that surrounded an enormous radius, devastating anything that was unlucky to be in its range. Garp grabbed the unconscious Shiki before he could fall onto the Sea and landed before Sengoku and handed him his son.
"Take him to Impel Down. I will be going to see my Grandson."
Sometimes Later,
Foosha Village,
Dawn Island…
"What is it? Why are you so sad? You should be happy as a new baby was born to the World."
Garp looked as he saw the sad look on Mayor Woodslap's Face. He walked into the room that his Grandson was supposed to be in and saw Dragon with the Baby in his. He looked around and did not see the mother of his Grandson.
And as such he could only assume the worst. He went and hugged Dragon.
"I will be living. I have gotten a Mission from World Goverment. I believe that I am going to learn something new in this Mission. As such I will leave him to you."
Garp took the baby as Dragon walked out.
"You poor little guy."
He kissed his Grandson on his head.
Two Years Later,
Mt. Colubo,
Dawn Island…
"Open the door."
Dadan sighed as she opened the door.
"What is it? Whatever it is that you are trying to sell, I won'tbuy it."
Dadan opened the door and saw that it was Garp and he had another baby in his hands. She knew what happened the last time.
"Please. Not anotherone. Luffy has already been a handful for us. We can't take careofhim."
"Grandpa."
Garp smiled as he went down.
"How are you, Brat? I have brought someone for you to meet."
Luffy looked at the Baby in his hand as Garp handed the baby to him. Luffy took the Baby carefully.
"This is Ace. He is your brother from this Day. So take care of him, ok."
Luffy nodded his head.
"Don't worry Ace, your Oni-chan willalways protect you."
Five Years Later,
Midway Forest,
Dawn Island…
"Ace, don't leave Onii-chan and run away."
Ace was annoyed. His family was just annoying. His Grandfather used to beat him. His Father caused the Death of his Mother and His Adopted Mother was a Bandit. His Older Brother was the most annoying one there was.
He loved his older brother but he was simply Clingy and Overprotective.
A Huge Tiger came before Ace and swiped at him. He dodged and got his pipe ready. But before he could strike his Brother punched the Tiger and it wasknocked back. Curse the Immense Strenght and Durability of Monkey D Family.
Luffy smiled. This was the reason he trained. To show Ace howcool his older brother was. He had trained as his grandfather told for about a Year and now he was strong. The Tiger lunged at him again, its Clawsready for strike.
But Luffy ducked and uppercutted it. He grabbed a rock and slammediton the Tigers head.
"Is not your brother cool and strong, Ace?"
Luffy turned around and saw that Ace was not there. He sighed as he started to drag the Tiger's Body and followed Ace's Trace.
With Ace…
Ace was further annoyed by his brother defeating his Target. He heard the Sound of Boar and rushed to see that it was attacking a boy.
The boy had round eyes, a missing tooth, and short curly blond hair. He wore a large black top hat with a pair of blue goggles wrapped around it, a blue jacket with the sleeves rolled up, a cravat and a pair of light blue cyan shorts held up by a belt with an elaborate flower-design buckle.
It did not seem like he would survive the Boar's attack so Ace jumped before him and held the boar off with his Pipe. The Boar skidded back. It moved in reverse before Accelerating at them.
Ace pushed the boy away as he jumped aside. The boar stopped before it hit a tree and turned around as it dashed at Ace. Ace tried to dodge but he trippedand fell. He saw the Boar coming closer and closer.
Ace closed his eyes, hoping it won't pain much. He hopedhis brother would come in time.
"This is why I tell youtube stay with me. The Forest is filledwith Dangerous Animals for 5 Year to deal with."
Luffy came crashing on the Boar, killing it. Luffy helped Ace up as he looked at the Blonde boy.
"And who are you?"
"I am Sabo. I am an Orphan. I am 5 Years Old."
Luffy looked at Sabo then at Ace.
"Ok. I will be taking care of you. Ace. This is our new little brother, Sabo. And he is gonna be living with us."
Ace bashed Luffy on his head.
"Don't just accept someone you just met as your brother. Why are you so stupid?"
"But he is an Orphan like us. He does not have any place to return. And as the older brother, I use my authority to assign him the role of Brother no 2. You can be promoted if you listen to my orders unlike someone else."
Sabo had a smile on his face as he saw the two interact with each other. Sabo bowed down.
"Thank you for taking care of me."
Luffy looked at Sabo.
"Good. You are now Brother no 1. Follow us."
Sabo nodded as he followed Luffy and Ace. Luffy grabbed the Boar and Tiger and dragged them.
Sometimes Later,
Mt. Colubo,
Dawn Island…
"We are back, Dadan. I have brought the Meat. Cook it while I am out and take care of Ace and Sabo."
Dadan sighed as she walked out to take the Animal that Luffy had brought. She knew that he would go to train. It was good for him to train as he was the source of food for all of them. She would just have to agree with him. She saw Ace and a blonde boy.
"Wait a minute. Who is this?"
"This is my New Little Brother, Sabo. Make Rice for him too. I have brought enough Meat for all of us."
Dadan wanted to retort but stop as she saw that Luffy had brought a Tiger and Boar. She just sighed. Both the Grandfather and Grandson just dropped Children at her place. But she could not do anything, just agree.
Four Year Later,
Midway Forest,
Dawn Island…
"Why are we hiding this from Luffy-ni-san?"
Ace sighed. Sabo was to much of Luffy Fanboy.
"He is very protective. And as such, I believe he would not let us be pirates. And even more if he knows how we got this."
Sabo was surprised.
"I did not know you could use your brain."
Ace was about to hit him but he saw past him and towards the Dock to see that a Pirate Ship was about to dock into Foosha Village.
"Sabo, Let's go and inform Luffy that a Pirate Ship has docked."
Sabo nodded as he ran to the Cliff where Luffy used to train.
"Luffy-ni-san, a Pirateship has just Docked in Foosha Village."
Luffy stopped punching. He washed his hands as he rushed towards Foosha Village.
Sometimes Later,
Pirate Ship,
Foosha Village,
Dawn Island…
"This is a Good Island to stay for sometimes, isn't it Benn?"
The Captain of the Pirate Ship, Shanks said to his First Mate, Benn Beckman. Shanks and his crew came down and saw that a Boy was there to greet him.
"Hello there. We-"
"Leave, Pirates. You are not welcomed here. If you try anything, I will be forced to battle you."
Shanks looked at the Boy. And laughed.
"You want to fight us. But we come in peace. We just want to drink for some days before leaving for another adventure. We won't cause any trouble."
But Luffy did not stop staring at him. Woodslap came and stood before him.
"You should not even think about it as this child is the Grandson of Vice Admiral Monkey D Garp, Monkey D Luffy. Attacking this Village means you will be asking Garp to go on a war against you."
Shanks sighed.
"I have already told you that I am here in peace."
One Year Later,
Partys Bar,
Foosha Village,
Dawn Island…
"Come on. Give me the same thing they are Drinking. I am already 12 Years Old. I am ready for some booze."
Makino sighed. She had grown up with Luffy as they had just 7 Year gap between each other but she was still older and acted like his older sister.
"Fine. Drink this."
Makino gave him a Mug as he drank it in a chug.
"Ah. See I can handle it."
Shaks laughed at him.
"You are still a child that gets tricked easily. That was just Cola with Himalayan Black Salt. The Himalayan Black Salt that changed the taste. This just shows that you are still a child."
Luffy raised his palm.
"I will show you who is stronger."
Shanks just laughed as he patted Luffy's head. He sat before Luffy as he grabbed his palm for Armwrestling. He slammed Luffy's hand down but he had to use Haki as Luffy was stronger than him without Haki. Shanks thanked that his Haki was strong.
"You are not ready to fight me. Why don't you train more?"
Luffy was about to leave but Makino stopped him.
"How about you have something before leaving?"
Luffy took the seat besides Shanks as Makino handed Luffy a Plate of Meat.
"How long are you gonna stay, Shanks?"
"Well it's almost beena year since we used this town as our base. I plan on setting sail a couple mote tumes then we will leave this town and head north. It is not safe to keep it here."
Luffy was confused on what Shanks was talking about.
"A Couple of times. Then I will be strong enough to defeat you by that time, since I won't be strong enough to protect Ace, Sabo and Makino-nee-chan from other Pirates that are stronger then you."
Shanks wanted to laugh. But he held back. There was barely anyone stronger than him in the East Blue. Well, there may be someone that was Physically Stronger but Shanks had Good Haki. He still had to train for sometimes before he would have a Top Tier Level of Haki.
The Door to the Bar was kicked open as a Group of Bandit walked in. The Leader of the Bandits, Higuma looked at the Pirates in the Bar.
"So this is what pirates look like, huh? This is the First time I have seen pirates. They look pretty dumb to me. We are Bandits. We are not here to cause any trouble. We just wanna buy 10 Barrels of Sake."
Makino looked at the Barrels and saw that it was empty.
"I am so sorry. But we are out of Sake."
Higuma looked at the Mugs in the Pirates Hand.
"That's Strange. Then what are they Drinking? Is it water?"
Shanks looked at the bottle in his hand.
"I am sorry. Looks like we have finished all the sake here. Sorry about that. Here, if you don't mind take the last bottle."
Luffy finished his meal and saw a chest. He opened it and saw a Fruit. Maybe it was a desert that Shanks wanted him to have. He took a bite but was forced to jump of the seat as shards of Glasses flew at Luffy.
He turned and saw that Higuma had slammed the Bottle on Shanks head. Luffy was about to attack Higuma but Benn stopped him.
"Just who do you think I am? Don't take me so lightly. One bottle is not enough. My head is worth Eight Million Belli. I am one of the Prime Fugitives here. And I have hilled 56 people before. You cocky bastard. Now that you know who I am, do't mess with us again. After all, Mountain Bandits and Sea Pirates don't mingle very well."
But Shanks did not care about Higuma as he crouched and picked the Broken Glasses.
"Sorry about that, Makino. Do you have a mop?"
Higuma got angry at Shanks. He unseathed his sword as he slashed the bottles and mugs at the table.
"Well, it seems like you really enjoy cleaning. Now you can enjoy doing it more. Later you bunch of Chickens."
Higuma walked out. Makino crouched as she tried to help Shans.
"Are you alright, Captain? Did you get hurt?"
Shanks waved her off as the crew started to laugh. But Luffy was angry.
"Why are you laughing? That was Disgraceful. Why didn't you fight him? So what if they have more people? Who laughs after getting picked on? You are not a man and not a Pirate either."
Shanks looked at Luffy and sighed.
"Look, I know how you feel. But it's just a bottle of sake. There;s nothing to Get Worked up about."
Luffy was angry and did not listen to Shanks. He moved towards the Door but Shanks grabbed his arm.
"Oh come on. Don't go Luffy."
"I don't want to see you again, coward."
Luffy continued to walk. Luffy stops as he hears people spit their drink. He turns around and saw that his arm had stretched.
"What;s happening?"
Lucky Roo goes to the Counter and saw the Chest empty. He looked around and saw the half eaten fruit. He showed the fruit to Luffy.
"Luffy, did you eat this?"
Luffy looked at the fruit and nodded. Shanks as he pulled Luffu towards him.
"Thae was the Gomu Gomu no mi. It's one of the Devil Fruits and one of the Rarest Treasures in the sea. Whoever eats it will turn into Rubber man and will never be able to swim."
"Whaaaaat?"
One Month Later,
Foosha Village.
Dawn Island…
"I want to buy some Fish, Mr. Storekeeper."
The Fisherman looked at Luffy.
"This is the first time that you have come here to buy some fish. Why is it?"
Luffy smiled.
"My Brothers like to eat fish once a month. Previously, I used to just swim and get the fishes but now I can't swim as I have eaten the Devil Fruit."
"Oh yeah. You have eaten a Devil Fruit right. Has anything happened to you."
Luffy stretched his face.
"After eating the fruit, I have become even happier. Look."
Luffy saw Higuma and his band of Bandit walk into the Partys Bar. Luffy decided to go into the Bar and heard him bad talking Shanks.
Luffy had trained to use his Rubber Fruit for the Previous Month. He extended his hand as he grabbed Higuma and pulled Higuma towards him. He got his fist ready as he slammed onto the incoming Higuma.
"Don't underestimate Shanks."
The other bandits came to help their Leader but Luffy grabbed Higuma by his leg and slammed Higuma into the bandits. He beat all of them and tied them up.
"I will be going know. Bye bye ,Makino-nee-chan."
Sometimes later,
Midway Forest,
Dawn Island…
"Gomu Gomu no Pistol."
Luffy punched the incoming Tiger by stretching his hand.
"That was a good use of the Gomu Gomu no Mi."
Luffy turned and saw that Shanks was there.
"Why are you here? "
"I heard that you took care of Bandits because they were talking bad about me. I am here to say my goodbye too. We won't be returning here."
Luffy stopped moving.
"You are really leaving this time?"
"Yep. We have stayed here long enough. It's about time we move on. Are you upset?"
"Yeah. But I will find you when I become a Pirate by myself. One day, I will find myself a Crew that is as strong as yours. And then I will find the World's Biggest Treasure and become the King of Pirates."
Shanks smiled. He put the Strawhat on his head on Luffy's head.
"Well then this hat is my Gift to yo. This is my Favourite Hat, you know. When you become a Great Pirate in the Future, You will return that hat to me."
Luffy started crying as Shanks moved towards the Dock to leave the island.
Three Months Later,
Midway Forest,
Dawn Island…
"A Pirate Ship? You guys wanna be Pirates?"
Ace and Sabo were surprised as they saw Luffy. They were scared on what Luffy would say.
"Well, I want to be a Pirate too. So, I can't stop you from it. You both can be my Right Hand and Left Hand Man."
Ace and Sabo smiled. But Ace was annoyed.
"Hell no. I will be a Pirate Captain of my own crew. I will be the Strongest Man in this World."
They stopped talking as they heard someone walk towards them.
"You are Ace and Sabo right. You two are quite notorious around here. But it was stupid for you to challenge a Pirate Crew."
Luffy turned to Porchemy and saw his Sword.
"Who are you? And what do you want from my Brothers?"
Porchemy looked at Luffy.
"They stole from us. So I will be Scalping them alive."
That was wrong thing to say to Luffy.
"Is that so? But as their Brother, I can't let you go after you just threatened my brothers. Gomu Gomu no Pistol."
He winded his fist and punched. Porchemy underestimated Luffy because he was not that big but that was a mistake as the punch hit his stomach and he was sent flying into the tree. Luffy continued punching Porchemy until Porchemy was bloody.
"Taking him away and don't enter this forest again. This is my teritory and I will not hold back if you try to do anything to my Brothers."
Some Month later,
Central Town,
Goa Kingdom,
Dawn Island…
"Sabo? Sabo. Wait. You are alive. Come back home."
Luffy saw one of the Noble shouting for Sabo as they ran away. This was something they had to talk about.
Soemtimes Later,
Mt. Colubo,
Dawn Island…
"Talk or I will beat it out of you."
Ace tried to hit Ace but Luffy held him back.
"He is right, Sabo. Talk."
Sabo looked down.
"I am an Aristocrat. Both of my parents are still alive. I am no orphan. That guy back there was my father. But I don't like my family as they are trash. All they care about is wealth and Status and not me. I may not be an Orphan, but I have always been alone."
Luffy smiled at Sabo.
"Don't worry. We don't care if you are a son of Aristocrat as you are my brother."
Sabo cried as he smiled.
"Luffy. Ace. Let's go out to sea someday. Let's get out of this country. So we can be free. I want to see the world and write a book about it and navigation is the one thing I like to study. Let's get strong and become pirates."
"I have already told you about my dream to you. I will become a great pirate and show them all. I will make the whole world know my name."
Luffy smiled at his brothers.
"Okay then. I will tell you both my dream. I want to be…"
Both of the brother were surprised at hearing their brothers dream.
"Then how about we set sail when we are 17."
Sometimes later,
Gray Terminal,
Dawn Island…
"Give Sabo back."
Luffy could not believe that he was weakened because of his Devil Fruit. It seemed Bluejam hqd worked together with Sabo's Father and got a Seastone Cuff.
"Give him back? What nonsense is this? Sabo is my Son. We parents gave life to our children. Its their duty ti di whatever we tell them to do. How dare you incite him to leave home? Are you after my money, you trash?"
Ace looked at Outlook with anger but one of Bluejam's men punched him. Sabo could not see them be beaten anymore.
"I will do whatever you want. I will live the way you want me to live. But please don't hurt them. They are my brothers."
Luffy could not believe what was happening. But he understood that Sabo was doing this for them. He knew Ace would be mad at Sabo.
As Sabo went back, Luffy was taken by Ace back to Mt. Colubo's hut. He was very much injured.
One Day Later,
Mt. Colubo,
Dawn Island…
"Dadan, we have to do something. Porchemy has set the Gray Terminal to fire."
Dadan sighed.
"What are you gonna do? If Luffy was well, he could beat Porchemy and his Crew but you can not."
Ace had anger in his eyes.
"I am going to go anyway."
Ace rushed. Dadan rushed in as she woke Luffy. Luffy heard that Ace was going into the Fire. He stood up.
"Don't worry, Dadan. I am fine. I will bring Ace back."
With Ace,
Gray Terminal,
Dawn Island…
"Deep down, he was thumbing his nose at you all along."
Ace was angry at Sabo but he could not accept those word being said about Sabo.
"Stop talking about Sabo like that. Sabo just wants to be free."
Porchemy grabbed Ace.
"Don't do it, Porchemy. You will regret it."
Porchemy looked at Luffy and Dadan. He laughed.
"What are you gonna do, brat? You are injured and I can kill him before you even take a step."
Porchemy pulled out his dagger and was about to stab Ace.
"I said, don't do it."
A Wave of Invisible Shockwave passed through the Porchemy Pirate as they were knocked out. Dadan knew about this. He had heard it from Garp. It was something that the Top Tier People in the world had. Gol D Roger, Edward Newgate, Sengoku, Charlotte Lin Lin, Silvers Rayeligh, Kaido and even Monkey D Garp had it.
She felt Luffy go limp on his side.
"Let's go, Ace. The Porchemy Pirates won't be a problem to us."
Two Days Later,
Mt. Colubo,
Dawn Island…
"We have something to tell you."
Luffy had just woken up. Ace and Dadan stood before him.
"Sabo was killed. He had set sail and the Celestial Dragon killed him. He sent a letter to you before he set sail."
Luffy snatched the leter.
"Dear Luffy-ni-san,
I hope this letter finds you well. I may not be with you but always no that you're always in my thoughts.
As your younger brother, I've always looked up to you with respect and admiration. Your unwavering determination, boundless courage, and genuine kindness inspire me every day.
It's you who has taught me what it truly means to be a brother. Your strength and compassion know no bounds, and I am grateful to stand by your side as your brother.
Ace doesn't show it but he has even more respect for you since you were the one that raised him. Please take care of him as he is too hot head.
Keep chasing your dreams, Luffy. You're destined for greatness, and I'll always be here to support you every step of the way. I hope we will meet in the sea, when all of us are Pirates.

Luffy had tears running from his eyes. He was not strong. He could not save his brother. He would get stronger. And be strong enough to save his brother.
Somedays later,
Mt. Colubo,
Dawn Island…
"I heard what happened to Sabo. What is it that I can help with you?"
Luffy looked at his Grandfather as he kneeled down.
"Please train me for the next Five Year."
Garp looked at him.
"Very well. I will be teaching you the Rokushiki of the World Goverment but you have to promise to not wield weapons. I will teach you the basic of Haki but you will have to train it yourself."
Five Years Later,
Dock,
Foosha Village,
Dawn Island…
"Bye Ace. I will be waiting for you at the Sea. Meet me there when you get a bounty."
Luffy waved at his brother and his family. He looked up at the sky.
"Look at me, Sabo."
The Water rose as the Lord of the Coast rose up. Luffy looked at him. He would like to use Haki but he had promised his Grandfather that he would not use Haki and the Rokushiki until he reached the Grandline. But he could still use his Gomu Gomu no Mi.
"I wanted to leave without any trouble, but it seems that it is your unlucky day. Gomu Gomu no Pistol."
Luffy extended his hand as he punched the Lord of the Coast at Super Speed.
"Hehe. I will have to find some friends first. I hope I can find atleast 10 People. And then I will make a Flag. Alright, let's go. I will have to become the Pirate King."
THIS IS KIND OF BASED ON OHARA'S VIDEO. BUT IT IS DIFFERENT AS INSTEAD OF SWITCHING, IT IS JUST LUFFY IS 4 YEARS OLDER THAN CANON. THAT IS GOING TO CHANGE A LOT BUT I AM GOING TO KEEP THE CREW THE SAME BY SOME WAYS.
