Yoshi Stadium Villain Tournament

An old school 2004-2005 tournament that took place on the now, defunct Geocities website Yoshi Stadium. The tournament itself sadly didn't get finished. It's not the most robust thing ever to read but, it's fun for 2004-2005 nostalgia.

1. Introduction

My name is Preston Ward Condra.

And what you are about to read is a villian vs villian crossover video game tournament.

This was initially written on the Geocities website Yoshi Stadium.

My favorite website of all-time and sadly, as you know - the website got shut down back in 2009.

Yahoo purchased every single Geocities website for millions of dollars.

And every website that was made via Geocities was shut down for good, with only a handful of pages on each Geocities website, still existing.

This sadly never got off the ground, beyond Round 2 in the tournament.

Most of the participants (if not all of them) are from the Mario universe and a bunch of D-List villians from the Mario-verse.

Most of these fights are just very brief summaries to read through.

But to be fair, all of this was written back in 2004-2005 as the internet barely existed back then.

Don't take this for granted and take it seriously, and just take it as an easy-going tournament to read through.

I still hope to this day, I can contact the Yoshi Stadium staff to recover their stuff. Enjoy.
