The world... As big and massive as it is, it is bigger than it looks. It is connected to another world where everything is made out of data. It is known as the Digital World, and the creatures that live there are called digimon. Before, humans and digimon lived separately, but that was years ago. Twenty-five years ago, an evil digimon named MaloMyotismon attempted to take over both worlds, but it's also when both worlds got closer together. Now, both worlds live together and everyone has a digimon partner. Twelve humans and their digimon partners were the ones that made it possible as they fought for both worlds, but now, despite how young they might, it's now their children's turn.

"Remake"
Odaiba, Japan is where it all began for humans and digimon to live together. Now both kinds are living peacefully together. Down on beach in Odaiba was a house, a fabulous house that belonged to a family called the Motomiyas. Inside the house was a young boy, no older than seven. He grabbed himself a soccer ball and was on his way with a small blue creature following him.
"Come on, DemiVeemon. We're heading to the park." The boy said as he walked down the stairs.
"Yay! The park! Let's go, Musuko!" DemiVeemon said as he followed him down the stairs and met up with his mother.
"Musuko! Look who I got!" His mother said as she showed her father was on the television with a chat going on.
"Dad!" Musuko cheered as he was glad to see him.
"Hey, Musuko. I hope you and Koji haven't driven your mother crazy while Veemon and I have been gone." His father said.
"Oh please. Musuko is the trouble one while Koji is the angel."
"Gatomon!" The mother said as she didn't approve of that, even if it was true.
"When will you be home, Dad?" Musuko asked.
"I'm on my plane right now. I managed to finish my business in America and I'm my way home right now. I should be home within hours." His father said.
"How come you aren't using the digi-gates? Thanks to Izzy, everyone is using them to try and help them travel." The mother said.
"That's the thing. Izzy says they've been acting rather odd lately and thinks it might not be a good idea to use them for that. That's why I'm flying back." The father said.
"Well, Koji and I are going to pay a quick visit to my mother, but we should be home by the time you land." The mother said. "We'll see you when you land. Love you."
"Love you, too." The father said and ended the call.
"Mom, can I go to the park now?" Musuko asked.
"Sure, Musuko. Just be careful out there and be back before dinner. If you need to reach me, I'll be with your grandparents." The mother said. Once Musuko was free to go, Musuko got his shoes and was on his way out. Just before he was out, someone else stepped in the room.
"Musuko..." Musuko looked behind him and met with a little boy that looked a lot like their mother that had a digimon named Salamon.
"I'll see you later, Koji. Be careful with what Grandma feeds you, and make sure you help Mom. You know how she gets when Dad isn't around." Musuko said with Koji nodding his head.
"Hey! It's the other way around!" Gatomon called before Musuko ran out the door with his partner. He ran through the streets and passing by humans and digimon alike. This boy is Musuko Motomiya. He's in second grade, seven years old, his birthday is January 1st, and is the son of veteran digidestined named Davis and Kari. He's also the oldest with his little brother, Koji Motomiya, being only about a year younger but is in kindergarten. The two of them live pretty good lives with their mother being a kindergarten teacher and their father being a successful in the restaurant business, making millions. In fact, he was in America for that reason. The twelve digidestined have all grown and now have kids of their own. It was thanks to their efforts that humans and digimon can all live together no matter how old someone is.
"Musuko, what do you think your Dad meant when he say the digi-gates were acting weird?" DemiVeemon questioned.
"I don't know, but I'm sure everything is fine." Musuko said like he didn't have a care in the world. As he was on his way to the park, he noticed a bright light. He looked and saw a fellow digimon digivolving to rookie. Everyone who saw that was amazed to see it happened. It also had Musuko thinking as he looked down at his partner. "When are you going to digivolve and become like Dad's Veemon?"
"I don't know." DemiVeemon said.
"It must have been so cool when Dad and Mom had adventures with Uncle Tai and the others." Musuko said. "I wonder what it was really like. I would have loved to go on one." Musuko always admired his Dad and wanted to go on fun adventures like his parents did. Be careful with what you wish for.
"Did you hear? There seems to be problems with the airports?" Musuko heard a couple people talking and he was listening when he mentioned the airport. "They're having technical problems and planes are suffering from it. There have already been some that nearly crashed."
"Oh my gosh... That's horrible, but are you sure?"
"Yeah, I've got a buddy that was on a plane and it was having some serious trouble. It's happening all around." When Musuko heard that, he began to worry about worry about his father since his father was flying home by his own plane. Feeling like something has to be done, he began to hurry back home.
"Musuko! What is it?! Where are you going?!" DemiVeemon questioned.
"Didn't you hear them?! Planes are having trouble and Dad is flying home!" Musuko said.
"But you don't know that!" DemiVeemon said.
"I've got to do something!" Musuko said. He might be a kid, but he's actually a brave kid. He acts like he's not afraid of anything. Musuko's actually a lot like his father. Courage seems to run in this family. As Musuko was running as fast as he could to try and help, something sensed what was going through him and called upon him. Something in Musuko's pocket shined a bright blue light and the next thing Musuko knew was that he was being carried away somewhere.
...
Musuko
"Musuko! Wake up! Wake up!" Musuko blacked out for a moment and didn't know what happened to him. When he woke up, he was faced with DemiVeemon. However, they weren't in the city anymore. Musuko looked around him and was surprised to see he was in some sort of forest. Normally, a kid would have been scared. Not Musuko, especially since he was a little familiar with where they were.
"DemiVeemon, what's going on? How did we end up in the Digital World?" Musuko questioned.
"I don't know." DemiVeemon said.
"Weird." Musuko said as he moved around, but then he felt something fall out of his pocket. He looked down and saw a blue device. "What's this thing?" He questioned as he grabbed it.
"I remember that from your mother's photos. Didn't they call it a D-3? Why do you have one? I thought those things weren't needed for humans and digimon anymore." DemiVeemon questioned.
"I don't know, but who cares? Dad might be in trouble. We've got to to get home." Musuko said as he wanted to hurry. However, they were in real trouble themselves as they weren't alone. DemiVeemon heard something and looked around for it. "What's wrong?"
"I heard something." DemiVeemon claimed. They both looked to the bushes and see if there was anything there. That was when a bunch of digimon came out, but they were acting rather creepy. Especially with the way they sound with it being like laughter...creepy laughter.
"Who are they?" Musuko questioned.
"I think they're called Keramon. I've heard of these digimon. They're trouble." DemiVeemon said. The Keramon surrounded them and it didn't look good for them.
"Hey! Get out of the way!" Musuko called. That was when one fired a blast right at them, but DemiVeemon pushed Musuko to the ground and had the attack miss. "What are they attacking us for?"
"I don't know, but I think we should get out of here." DemiVeemon said as he tried to do what all digimon do: protect their partners. He fired a series of bubbles right at them. They did hit one Keramon and gave Musuko the chance he needed as he pushed that Keramon out of the way and the two of them tried to make a run for it. Neither of them understood what was going on, but there wasn't much time for it. The two just kept running until one of the Keramon stretched out its arm and grabbed a hold of Musuko's leg and caused him to trip.
"Hey! Let go of me!" Musuko called as he tried to get free, but he couldn't get free. The Keramon seemed to be ready to attack.
"Musuko!" DemiVeemon called as he jumped in the way as the Keramon attacked and blasted him instead of Musuko.
"DemiVeemon!" Musuko called as he was worried he was hurt. He thought DemiVeemon was in real trouble, but something came out of the smoke. Instead of DemiVeemon, the creature was bigger and stronger. He was now...
"You mean Veemon!" Musuko couldn't believe it. DemiVeemon actually digivolved into Veemon. Unexpected, but that might be helpful. Veemon charged right at the Keramon holding Musuko and smashed his head against him to free Musuko. He didn't stop there. He fought back the Keramon as he gave each one of them a strong punch of kick. Even when he was just spinning his arms around, he was able to fight off the Keramon.
"Awesome!" Musuko said as he couldn't believe this was actually happening to him. Veemon kept pounding away at the Keramon. As he was fighting, he was loving his new power, all of it coming to him like it was sheer instinct.
"This is awesome!" Veemon cheered. Just then, one Keramon grabbed him from behind and tried to hold him down.
"Hey! Hands off my buddy!" Musuko called as he helped out. He grabbed Keramon by the antenna and pulled as hard as he could on it with Veemon getting free.
"Vee Headbutt!" Veemon charged right in and smashed his head right against Keramon and took another down.
"Yeah!" Musuko said as the two of them high-fived. "How did this happen? How did you digivolve?!"
"I still don't know why we're in the Digital World in the first place." Veemon said. This was rather weird to them, but the situation is about to get worse. They felt the ground began to shake as something big was heading their way. Soon, they saw another, and much larger, digimon towering over them. They were now faced with a digimon named Tyrannomon. "This guy might be a bigger problem." Tyrannomon gave off a mighty roar as he was about to stomp down on them, but they both ran for it.
"Do something about him!" Musuko said.
"Right!" Veemon as he turned back to fight. He jumped right at Tyrannomon, but he unleashed a powerful blast of fire. It burned against him and knocked him back to the ground.
"Veemon, are you okay?" Musuko asked.
"Yeah, but I don't think I can beat this guy." Veemon said. "He's at a higher level than I am."
"So what? You can take him." Musuko said. Veemon wasn't sure about that, but they couldn't talk about that. Tyrannomon attacked again as he breathed fire at them again, but Veemon shoved Musuko out of the way. They might be in trouble with this one.
"Musuko, I can't beat this guy." Veemon said. "He's too big and too strong. How can I beat him?"
"You've got to." Musuko said. "We're tough. We can take him. After all, we never back down, right?"
"You're just a kid! What do you know about something like this?!" Veemon said as he had his doubts.
"I know we can." Musuko said as he was very much like his father. He was brave, confident, optimistic, and more. "Do you remember what Mom and Dad told us? Anything is possible. That's something they learn from the digimon, from you guys." Veemon wasn't sure what it is, but he believes like Musuko. Musuko just has this strong will to believe.
"You're right." Veemon said as he stood up and faced Tyrannomon. "Anything is possible if we're together." That was when the new D-3 that Musuko had began to shine with a gold light. As Tyrannomon moved closer to them, the two of them stood their ground. Musuko might be a kid, but he's certainly a brave one.
"Go, Veemon!" Musuko cheered.
"Yeah!" Veemon said as something awakened. Veemon was digivolving again.
"Veemon digivolve to..." It was like Musuko's new digivice unleashed a beam that was powering Veemon. An outline of what Veemon was formed around him and it was like data was filling the space. It helped him transform into something bigger, stronger, and more ferocious. "Veedramon!"
Veemon actually managed to digivolve again, but it was something Musuko has never seen before. Not even his father's Veemon became this. Now it was like two dinos fighting each other. The two of them charged at each other and smashed right into each other, trying to overpower the other side. They tried to push the other back, but Veedramon broke the draw as he grabbed a hold of Tyrannomon and lifted him off the ground just enough to flip him to the ground.
"This is so cool!" Musuko cheered. Tyrannomon got back up and tried attacking with fire again.
"V-Nova Blast!" Veedramon unleashed his own blue flame attack. The two attacks clashed into each other and it was another power struggle. Both sides tried to push back, but it looks like Veedramon was loosing this one. Tyrannomon's flames were apparently stronger as they were pushing through Veedramon's flames.
"Don't back down, Veedramon!" Musuko cheered as he was giving Veedramon more power without even realizing it. Veedramon was feeding off of Musuko's emotions and it gave him a boost in power as the attack pushed through and was able to blast against Tyrannomon and knocked him down. That attack did some damage and it looked like he wasn't getting back up. "Yeah! Take that!" Musuko cheered. He was so excited and thrilled about what just happened. He climbed up on Veedramon and got a good look to see they really won. "That was awesome! You were awesome!"
"Thanks, but I still don't get it." Veedramon said. "What was that all about? Why did these guys attack us? How did we even get here?"
"Way to ruin the moment with questions." Musuko complained. "Good questions. What is going on?" As fun and exciting as what just happened was to them, they are now faced with problems. Another problem was that Tyrannomon was getting back up.
"He hasn't had enough?!" Veedramon said as they thought he won. Tyrannomon was about to attack them, but that was when an energy blast came out of nowhere and blasted against Tyrannomon with him turning into data from that attack. Both of them wondered what did that until they looked to the sky and saw an angel floating down to the ground.
"Angemon?!" Musuko said.
"Are you both okay?" Angemon asked.
"We are. Did you see what happened?" Veedramon said. "Angemon, if you're here, does that mean T.K. is here too?"
"No because I'm not that same Angemon." He claimed with both of them not understanding.
"Musuko." Musuko looked down to the ground and saw someone else. They thought they would see T.K., but they saw a much younger and smaller version of him.
"Benson?" Musuko questioned. What is Benson doing in the Digital World? Why does he have Angemon? What about the planes possibly being in danger with Musuko's father on one? There's so much going on...and it looks like it's up to these kids.
...
The adventure continues as Musuko and Benson race to stop vile digimon, but the only way for them to stop them is to tap into the newly discovered power that they both have awakened.
