It started off as any other normal day with me getting up and getting my breakfast before getting changed to get ready for secondary "ok ive me phone, bag, wallter annddd shit my pendant" I ran back up the stairs to crab my homemade pendant made from a chain, a yugioh plastic card protector and one of my prized possessions my Stardust Dragon.
I picked it up smiling memories of when I was younger watching Yugioh 5Ds flowing through my mind as I put it on around my neck hiding it under my shirt not too worried since it was a non uniform day.
I ran down the stairs grabbing my school bag before setting off "at least the weather isnt bad" thankfully it was cloudy which isnt too bad for Ireland since the norm is pissing rain as the walk is long enough however when I got to the end of the lane that weirded me out a guy in all black and a cloak.
I went againest my instincts which were telling me to gtfo there but I had to see if something was wrong "hey you awri" as I called out his head twisted in my direction "ah you've finally arrived" the figure pulled out something from the inside of his cloak 'oh hell no I knew this was a bad idea' I did what i should have done earlier and ran however it was too late as the dark figure had somehow gone from where he was to right in front of me with his arm out with what looked like pure darkness radiating from his palm.
I could see his sadistic grin from under his hood "enjoy the trip" was all I heard before the sensation of falling and everything fading to black.
No Ones Pov
The staff and singular guest had gathered in the lounge area of the hotel after an attack on the hotel by a Sir Pentious "Okay everyone time to get the Hotel back in shape" Charkie beamed staying positive after this predicment Alastor simply twirled his staff "my dear no need to worry, I would wouldnt be a good hotel manager if I didnt hand it so Ill have this fixed in a jiffy" and with nary but a snal of his fingers several shadow spirits appeared and began to repair the Hotel.
However these efforts were made in vain as a crashing sound had garnered everyones attention "what da fuck is dat" Angel scratched the bed of his head with everyone slowly getting worried save for Niffty who was for some reason getting excited with Alastor until the ceiling broke ubove them and something fell through the hole into the middle of the lounge.
The dust making it hard to see exactly what just broke through the ceiling difficult with Vaggie coming close with her spear ready to go on the attack if it was a threat "uh hun your going to want to look at this" Vaggie lowered her spear and stepped to the side revealing a mortal human to Charlie to hich she brought her hand to her mouth in a gasp as she couldnt believe what she was seeing.
Angel Dust strode up "okay whats da big deal..." he froze which garnered the rest of the groups attention as if something was able to freak him out was worth the attention so they moved to where they could see better look.
Alastor took particular interest 'curious if a living soul somehow ended up with these damned sinners than there may be a way back to the living world' his eternal smile that was always on his face grew somehow wider 'you my dear fellow are going to be a very entertaining to see your story unfurl before me'.
Husker was along the lines of surprised saying not much more then "well shit that's not something you see everyday" still cleaning a glass at the bar while trying to keep Niffty from jumping the guys bones 'no matter how much that asshole makes me work with her the obsession with guys still creeps me out' giving a small shudder finishing the thought.
Angel Dust got closer to the guy who was unconscious but didnt get to far before Vaggie started yelling "KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OF HIM YOU PUTA MIERDA!" Angel Dust just shrugged his shoulders and went back to the couch "jeez not everythin i do is sexual ya know cut a guy some slack".
Charlie managed to collect herself enough to get her train of thought back on track "Niffty get a first aid kit he's got to be badly hurt after falling through-" she looks up at the hole to see holes leading somehow all 10 floors "10 STORIES!" she runs over to check him over seeing that his left arm was bent at a bad angle and right leg being broken, with bruises all across
She was nearly about to cry seeing the blood all his face and his leg, a shine from his chest caught her eye a pendant.
She held the pendant and inspecting it she noticed it looked like a white and blue draconic three horned shield with wings wrapped around it 'its beautiful Ive never see anything like it before' she heard a groan from him and looked from his pendant to his face seeing his eyes slowly open 'just how old is he' "sir can you hear me?" Niffty arrived with the first aid kit.
Niall Pov
'Oh fuck me why does it feel like I just got the shite kicked out of me then hit by a bloody bus' I opened my eyes and I cant believe with what im seeing.
I could feel tears coming to my eyes 'am I dying and my mind is trying to comfort instead of torture me one last time' I reach my hand out to my personal angel's cheek "it looks like I get to say goodbye after all these years after all kitten..." I can feel the darkness seeping in again "Ive always loved you and it doesnt matter what happened because I always will and...hopefully I will see you again in the next life" I couldn't hold it back any longer and fall into the darkness once more.
No Ones Pov
Charlie's brain froze as the man in front of her slowly brought his hand up to hold her cheek in his hand, tears building.
Vaggie moved to get the man to stop but Charlie just raises her hand for herto her to stop. Charlie just listened to what he had the say as she could see the signs he was fighting to stay concious.
Charlie couldnt help blushing at what he had siad she held his hand as he blacked out again "A-Alastor can you check him to see if there are any internal injuries" She stood up and backed off so Niffty could get to work on his injuries.
Alastors hand glowed a sickly green waving it over the now freshly comatose man "oh dear it seems our young fellow here is bleeding from the inside like a water balloon and yes before you ask i wish fix this little problem can't have a dead body in the Hotel" and with another wave of his hand the dark power washed over him with the worst of his wounds disappearing to show some bruised skin.
Satisfied with his work Alastor snapped his fingers and summoned up some shadows "now to get the Hotel fixed again after this young man dropped on in" his eyes glowed a deeper red with his smile strained after the annoyance of dealing with some forgettable sinner that damaged the hotel.
Vaggie walked over to Charlie putting her hand on her partners shoulder "you okay hon" her face plastered with a look of concern, Charlie gave her a small smile and held Vaggies hand "yeah im okay, its just...he sounded like someone who was about to die and...it made me think on just how many people are like him with each year of the extermination" Vaggie gave Charlie a look of understanding and gave her hand a small squeeze "that's why the Hotel is so important" Charlie couldnt help but give a small smile in response and looking over at Angel Dust and Husk they were back to drinking at the bar.
Niffty bandaged up his wounds now content that helps the shadows by starting to clean up the mess from the roof breaking "MUST CLEAN" zipping around quickly.
Charlie looked over to Alastor "could you possibly bring our new guest to a room" she five him a big smile with holding her hands together. Alastor just kept smiling "since you asked of course my dear" and with a snap of his fingers he had teleported their newest guestofo the hotel to one of the spare rooms on Charlie's floor as he no doubts with her bleeding heart with constantly check on him 'its quite adorable she's showing this much concern but I wouldnt be telling the truth if I wasnt intrested in our young mans as the first mortal in hell'.
Now that the situation was sorted out Alastor voiced out "now who wants some jambalaya?" sauntering off to the kitchen to perpare dinner for the hotel with everyone save for Vaggie who stayed back for a moment in thought a grim expression on her face looking up through the hole seeing the realm of heaven before turning to go to the dining room with the rest of the staff to wait for dinner.
Niall Pov
"ugghh...what the hell..that was a weird fucking dream" I wipe my eyes with my hand trying to get the sleep out of them.
I talk the blanket off of me, swinging my legs over the side of the bed but something didnt feel right 'wait these covers feel different' I finally open my eyes and alarm bells went off "this isnt my bed and defi etly not my room...where the fuck am I" I could feel my heart starting to thump in my chest as I started to panic.
I see a window at the right wall of the room so I walk up to it 'hopefully I can figure where I am...well...shit' I see weird grey buildings and but what caught my attention were the 'BLOODY DEMONS WALKING AROUND THE PENTAGRAM IN THE SKY' I was in full blown panic shaking and trying and failing to keep a level head.
"Oh yeah Niall your going to be fine you only stuck in HELL!" Im pacing the room back and forth "and wait-" I stop on a dime "that bastard in the cloak he sent me here oh im going to make him fucking regret" gritting my teeth and clenching my fists so hard the joints pop before stopping and letting out a sigh.
Rubbing my face with my hand "alright first things forst lets found out just where in hell am, at least whoever brought me here didn't kill kill me but...ah then oh crap what i siad to her was someone welp thats going to be awkward" facepalming after the relevation that I siad I loved you to a woman i thought was my ex.
There was something else that felt weirdly off I felt around my neck feeling that my pendant wasnt the same "my pendant where is my Stardust Dragon...wait it kind of looks like it" noticing the pendant now looked Like the head crest of the Stardust Dragon with its wings wrapping around the sides.
'Thats a mystery for another day' I can figure out why my pendant is different but I need to find out who brought me here. I go open the door revealing a hallway "okay now to find some stairs" I walked around the hall ubtil I found a stairwell down at the far end "bingo".
I followed the stairs to the bottom and it led to the side of a grand staircase going down to a lobby 'am I in a hotel?'. I go down the staircase "ls this a lobby, so it is a hotel but where are the staff". I felt a tap on my shoulders making me jump "salutations my good man you've finally awoken" I came face to face with a grey skinned man with red hair, he stood a damn 2 foot taller than me but what caught my attention was his massive smile that seemed plastered to his face.
Feeling nervous and slightly embarassed i finally spoke up "uh...yeah thanks for setting me up here and fixing me up" he pulled out a cane with an old fashioned radio on it "while I did save you from shuttling off from this mortal coil it was the owner of this establishment that is responsible" hold on the owner "thats one thing I was wondering is if this is a hotel where are the staff" this got him to raise an eyebrow "I guess I can escort you to them follow me and just as quick as he appeared he turned on a dime and started walking.
'Damn he's fast with his bloody long legs I have to jog to keep up' he took me from the stairwell to a dining room through the kitchen. 'How big is this place' my escort opened the door "and here we are everyone is inside" gesturing with a hand to go inside "thank you mr" trying to thank him "Alastor my good man and at least theres one man with some manners around here" he follows me on in.
What I see makes me question my sanity even more so as I come to see a extremly tall spidergirl, a giant cat with wings wearing hat, a pintsize cyclops girl and two women who looked relatively normal save for the porcelain white and grey skin 'at least things are going to be intresting'.
"Everyone I'm here to announce that our unexpected guest has finally woken up" Alastor spoke loudly announcing our presence, everyone turning their heads to get a look at me now that i wasnt conked out on the floor.
"uh h-hi thanks I heard from Alastor there you guys helped save my ass" this seemed to annoyed the grey skinned woman white the woman that looked like a living victorian doll stood up "Alastor helped fix you up, your welcome to the Hazbin Hotel Im Charlie the creator of the hotel and you've met Alastor he's out hotel manager.
Alastor simply stands with both hands on the top of his cane, "this is Vaggie my partner and my girlfriend" putting her hand on the shoulder of the grey skinned girl 'ah okay now the pissed off look makes sense' she then holds her arm out to the cat man "this is Husk he's our barkeep as well as our receptionist".
Husk gave a grunt nodding his head 'that guy as a barkeep makes sense but as a receptionist not so much', she then gestures to the small cyclops "this is Niffty she looks after the hotel making sure its clean and kept up to standard" as soon as she finished her sentence the little woman had somehow gotten from the table to hanging off my chest by my shirt "You look like a bad boy, I like bad boys" she has a crazed grin on her face.
I didnt know how to respond other than a small "can somebody help get the gremlin lady off me!" Alastor picks up Niffty laying her down back onto the floor "now Niffty thats not how we treat our guests" he scolds her softly like a child Charlie holds her hands together laughing nervously "we are 80% sure that shes harmless" that had me worried "whats the other 20?" she looks from me to Vaggie and back to me again "iy should be okay and now to finish our introductions this is our first patron Angel Dust".
"How you doin sweet cheeks" that voice "wait a damn minute are a guy or a woman?" I had to ask as thats either a really masculine sounding tomboy or in the famous words of admiral ackbar 'its a trap' Angel rubbed their body sexually "Im whatever you want me to be baby" thats it 'its a trap abort misson, time to GTFO'.
Thankfully before things could get any worse Vaggie started yelling at him "Angel how many times do you have to told about harassing the guests and staff!" he simply shruggs it off puting to arms behind his head as well as two on his stomach as he leans back.
I clear my throat "I guess that mskes it time to introduce myself, my name is Niall Lee, Im from Ireland and somehow some bastard in a cloak ended up sending me down here" that caught the particular attention of Charlie, Vaggie with the most being Alastor while Husker raised an eyebrow.
Charlie left from the table and came towards me until we were face to face with her or should i say face to chest, which allowed me to take in her features properly, her skin while pleach white was perfect with no blemishes of any kind with the red marks under her eyes giving more attention. Those blazing red eyes were captivating leading to her beautiful long golden hair held together with some bands
'shes absolutely beautiful'.
Shit I was staring time to lighten the mood a bit "can I get some stilts over her so i dont break my neck to look you all in the face, like come on" I dramatically say while throwing my arms up which like i hoped got a few giggles and laughs "aw baby if it bugs you that much i can pick up" Angel Dust flashed a lust filled grin "no you stay over there you trap" he gets confused obvuously never hearing the term.
Charlie puts a hand on your shoulder "you siad somebody sent you here" her voice a tone of concern laced throughout with Alastor putting in his own input "I cant help but say this intrigues and its rare to come across something this intresting in hell occur".
I prepare myself "where do you want me to start?" She gives a a small smile "alright then just dont be surprised I cant remember much and Ive a few more questions after this" she nods to Vaggie who with the rest of the come around ti hear the story of how this kid wound up falling through the ceiling of the hotel.
