In a small, dark room on a stormy night, the rain poured hard, and thunder was booming in the sky. In the room, four people dressed in dark purple robes stood over a cardboard box with a dark green circle painted on it with strange symbols all around the inside.

"This is so stupid," said one of the people in robes

"No, this is going to rock," said other people in robe

"Do we have to wear these robes?" said a third person in robes

"Yes, now, did one of you bring candles?"

The fourth person in robes places a bunch of an assortment of candles, from dusty old candles to a birthday candle.

"Could've gotten better candles?" said a second person in robes

"I procrastinate," said the fourth person who shrugged

"*sigh* Let's get it started."

The people in robes placed the candles around the circle, and the third person lit them. The second person in robes pulled out an old leather book that had seen better days. The cover was a drawing of a wizard shooting lightning.

The second person in robes opened the book up and flipped a few pages until he stopped at page 50, and he started to read out the words.

"Spiritum exspirasse regem per artes obscuras, accerso illum ad me."

Suddenly, the candle fire turned green, and outside, the roar of a large thunder was loud enough for the four to hear. Then, a small gust of wind came into the room and got into the circle, and then a minute tornado was formed, causing the fire to be absorbed into the tornado.

"Is this supposed to happen?" said the fourth person in robes

"Um…yeah," said the second person in robes, who thought maybe this wasn't such a great idea

Then, the tornado stopped. In the center of the circle was a 16-year-old boy with snow-white messy hair and glowing green eyes floating above the circle. The teen wore a black and gray bodysuit with a white D symbol on his chest; he had a white and teal cloak, gray gauntlets and boots, a spiked shoulder pad on his left shoulder, a green skull ring on his right hand, and a green flaming crown over the teen's head. However, the standout point was that the teen was holding a white bag that said "Nasty Burger" in his left hand.

"I can't believe it work," the second person in robes said softly

The ghost king looked down at the four, who looked annoyed and he crossed his arm with the bag in hand.

"Let me guess; you four wanted to summon the ghost king to bring him back from the dead?"

"Um, no," said the third person in robes

"Do you want me some servant?"

"No," said the fourth person in robes

"Then what?"

` "Ha, I just want to see if it works," said the second person in robes

"And definitely work," said the first person in robes

The ghost king raised his eyebrow, hearing the first person in the robe's voice sounding a bit high.

"Wait a minute are you guys kids?" said the ghost king

"Oh crap how did you know," said the third kid in the robe

"I can tell, now take off the robe."

The kids took off their robes, revealing their faces. The first kid was a boy with short blonde hair and green eyes; the second was a boy with brown hair and gray eyes; the third was a boy with red hair and black eyes; and the last was a girl with black hair and hazel eyes.

"You know lucky it wasn't the old ghost king because you guys would be in big trouble," said the ghost king

"And what happened to the old ghost king?" said the boy with brown hair and gray eyes

"I defeated him. That's what happened; now, who summoned me?"

"I did," said the boy with brown hair and gray eyes

"What's your name?"

"Eli."

"Look Eli, just summon me back."

"S-sure I'll do that." Eli looked through the book, went to the last page, and gulped. "It would seem I can't."

"Why?"

"Someone ripped out the spell from the book."

"Wait minute Eli you said you got a spell to send him back," said the gir

"I would have wing it Hannah."

The ghost king groaned and thought, All I wanted was just to eat lunch and not deal with anything crazy.

Then, a door opened, and the ghost king quickly turned invisible.

"Why are the lights off Henry?" said the older man's voice

"Um…we were doing an experiment Dad," said the boy with red hair and black eyes

The dad came down and turned on the lights and saw the cardboard with the candles melted down on it and some mess on the ground.

"I don't know whatever experiment you kids were doing but you guys need to clean this mess up," said Henry's dad

"We will dad," said Henry

"And why are you wearing robes?"

"Because I thought makes us look cool," said a boy with short blonde hair and green eyes

Henry's dad looked at the boy and sighed, "I'm going back upstairs."

He walked back upstairs and closed the door behind him.

"Nice cover Josh," said Eli

"And where the ghost king?" said Hanah

"Did he went away?" said Henry

"Nope still here," said the ghost king, reappearing in the air

He looked to see the room turn out to be a basement with an oversized green couch, a small tv, a large and old lamp, and a brown rug.

"Now tell me where I'm at?" said the ghost king

"Metropolis," said Eli

"Never heard of it."

"I don't know what the ghost world is like Ghost King but have you ever heard of Superman?"

"Who?"

"You know the man of steel?" said Josh

"No I do not." then Ghost King thought something was not right; this place felt unfamiliar. The king asked, "Have you ever heard of Amity Park?"

"The band?" said Henry

"No it's a town,"

"Then no," said Eli

"I can see your guys phone I left mine back in the throne room," said the ghost king

"Um, sure." Eli handed his phone to the ghost king

The ghost king looked at the phone to see it looked cooler than his flip phone. The phone turned on by itself, and the king saw the date 11/2/2023.

Yep, I think something is not right. The king thought and had a worried look.
