Aruo: Are-ooo-o

Yo, it's been a hot minute since i've actually wrote a story let alone have an idea for one so this is just the summary and we will hop into the story!

This is a story about how Boruto Uzumaki and his class mates travel back in time to the shippuden era. This is Pre-Pain attack and Pre-Jiraya death. All of the, now genin, get to meet their parents and see what the world looked like before the 4th great war.

6pm, Training Ground 8

"Hey Sasuke?" asked Boruto

"Hn?" replied the one armed man.

"I was wondering, what kind of power does the Rinnegan possess? Like is it really that strong or is Shino-sensei being dramatic?" questioned boruto while scratching his cheek. He'd always been interested in the different types of eyes in the shinobi world seems as his mother had the Byakugan, his 'rival/best friend' had the Sharingan, and his dads best friend (being Sasuke) had the Rinnegan.

"It is quite powerful. Some say the Rinnegan is the final evolution of the Sharingan and the most powerful eye in this world. After all I didn't even earn it, I was given it by the Sage of Six Paths in the Great War." answered Sasuke

"Well what can it do? Shino-sensei made it seem like you can time travel." said Boruto

"I've never even tried to time travel but you can go in and out of different dimensions with it. It takes a lot of chakra for even me to do it." Sasuke paused, "Why are you asking me this? If you're wanting to pull another prank i'm not helping."

Boruto looked at Sasuke and sighed, "I don't wanna pull a prank, ya know. I just wanna understand why my dad doesn't seem to care about our family. Everyone calls him the 'savior of our times' and other stupid names. All he is a stupid old man who stays in the Hokage office all day and night. He probably got it so easy being the fourth Hokage's son. Not to mention saving everyone."

Sasuke looked up at the sun, which was now setting below the tree line, and then got up from his sitting position. Boruto looked up at him and said "Where are you going?"

Not answering the question Sasuke simply said, "Do all of your friends think the same of your father?"

Boruto stared at him for a second before replying, "Not all of my classmates do, but my group of friends know my thoughts about them. Sadara thinks i'm being spoiled, Shikadai thinks the whole situation is troublesome and just goes along with what I say or feel. Inojin tries to make me feel better but ends up being a smart ass. Denki and Mitsuki just agree with me on everything for some reason. ChoCho doesn't pay that much attention and ends up just agreeing. Metal and Iwabee don't really understand. Sumire doesn't understand but does try to."

Sasuke, while still watching the sunset, said "Gather all of your friends and meet me here in 3 days at 6am. If you're even a second late i'm not helping you."

Boruto began to protest about everyone's team meeting but before he could finish Sasuke glared and said "Worry about waking up and getting here and I'll worry about you and your friends sensei."

Boruto didn't even get a chance to speak before Sasuke shunshin to somewhere else. Boruto took a page out of the Nara family's book and thought to himself "What a drag this is, I have to get up so damn early and Uncle Sasuke wont even tell me why or what for!"

6:15pm, Hokage Office

Sasuke, not one to talk to people, shunshin right into the Hokage Office just to see a sleeping Naruto drooling all over his paperwork.

"The dobe finally gets what he wants and becomes Hokage just to do this" thought Sasuke as he sweatdropped. Suddenly Sasuke got a devious idea and grinned, "This idiot is gonna pay for kissing me, TWICE!"

Sasuke, who rarely pulls pranks, saw this as a perfect opportunity to get revenge. It took everything inside the last Uchiha to not laugh. Sasuke bit his thumb and wiped the blood onto his palm and whispered "Summoning Jutsu". A small dark blue snake with jet back rings around it appeared.

"What can i do for you SSSasuke-sssama?" the small summoning hissed

"Hey Aruo, you see that blonde idiot asleep? I need you to crawl up his leg and scare the hell out of him for me" replied sasuke grinning. The snake known as Aruo looked at the drooling Naruto and then back to his summoner, "You are one sssadsstic ssson of a ssnake but nonetheless your wish is my command."

Aruo slowly started crawling towards Naruto and slithered up is leg and into his pants. Naruto almost immediately woke up and started jumping around and yelling.

"AHHHH WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?? HELP I HAVE A SNAKE IN MY PANTS!!" Naruto yelled as he violently shook his leg trying to get rid of said snake. Sasuke couldn't hold in his laughter and after about 30 seconds of Naruto running around his office, Sasuke undid the summoning and made a mental note to thank the snake. Naruto looked up at Uchiha and glared, "Sasuke you have 20 seconds to start explaing before release Kurama on your ass"

"I would actually rather not go face to face with another Sharingan user, Naruto. You remember what happened last time some cocky Uchiha got ahold of me and my power." growled the fox but Naruto just ignored him. Sasuke's laughing fit calmed down and after 10 seconds, he stopped laughing and explained his reasoning for the prank. Naruto's eye twitched throughout the explanation but he calmed down whenever Sasuke suddenly got a serious expression.

"I didn't come here just to prank you..." he paused and thought to himself "but it was pretty fun and i might have to do it again" Sasuke inwardly snickered before resuming, "I want to take the new genin class on a field-trip sorta thing. I know there's the thoughts of the other Kage thinking that the new generation is too soft and hasn't experienced much trauma if none at all. Matter of fact some of the new genin think the world and being a shinobi is a joke and i rather them not think that."

Naruto looked at his best friend and knew what he was talking about. The new genin, for the most part, are not as strong as the generation Naruto grew up in. They don't have the same life as most of the old generation had and definitely don't have to worry about other villages attacking since everyone was at peace.

"Well what do you have in mind, I want them to know and to be aware of what kind of world we grew up in but I don't want them to have that trauma that we did, ya know." Naruto said while walking back to his seat and sitting down.

"I'm not going to beat around the bush with you Naruto, I want to travel to the past with them using the Rinnegan. I want them to see first hand what the world was like. I want them, no I need them to know it's not all butterflies out in the world." Sasuke paused and looked at his lifelong friend expecting the blonde to yell at him and call him crazy, but it never came. Instead Naruto looked him dead in the eye and replied, "I know what you are doing is for the good of the village and I appreciate it but don't think they need to know about our past like that Sasuke. I mean we have moved on. We are different people now, especially you Sasuke. I don't want to scare the kids like that, especially not Boruto."

Sasuke held the eye contact, "That's EXACTLY why we need to do this. We need to scare them you idiot. Like you said last week, we don't know what could happen. We don't know if Kaguya could return or any of the Ootsutsuki clan for that matter. This generation NEEDS this Naruto."

Naruto glared back, "I still don't think this is the right way. There has to be some other way. Not to mention if you travel to the past with these kids you're gonna totally screw up today's world." and before Naruto could finish Sasuke interrupted, "Dobe there is no other way. We could use a genjutsu, sure, but that's not the same. Genjustu isn't going to be the same as actually experiencing it. Also I used my Sharingan to copy a jutsu that allows me to erase memories. Don't ask where i got it."

Naruto just stared at Sasuke before letting out a long sigh. "Fine. But if anything happens to those kids, it's your ass's fault and no one else's. Also you're in charge of telling all the parents of who you're taking. Same with the sensei's. I'm going to go home and talk to Hinata-chan about this. I suggest you do the same with Sakura."

Sasuke grinned, "I can't believe i actually have to take orders and ask for permission from you."

Naruto smiled at him, "Get used to it Teme. Now go home, and before I forget what time did you want to leave with the kids?"

"I told Boruto to gather his friends and meet me in three days at Training Ground 8 at 6am." replied Sasuke who was getting ready to jump out the window.

"Gotcha" replied Naruto. They both nodded at each other before going their separate ways.
