The Emperor's Daughter Chapter 4
The humans on Earth being more of a hindrance to their mission than originally expected is a recent development.
One her brother is not too keen on repeating although his momentarily positive take on the situation does surprise her.
Grinning, Prince Vekar said "The first attack wave was fantastic. What destruction!"
"But it didn't get them to surrender," reminded Damaras, pointing out that complete ultimate victory still has yet to reach fruition. "They're rebuilding now."
"Don't give me that talk. Give me a way to crush them," scoffed Prince Vekar.
Placing a placating and calming hand on his arm, Princess Veronica said "Calm yourself. There's no need to get so worked up, Vekar. Lavira has come to me and already has a possible solution in mind."
Stepping forward on cue, Lavira said "She's right, Sire. Don't worry. I believe I have just the thing."
Nodding in approval, Prince Vekar said "Good. Soon this world will be ours!"
Princess Veronica summons a general called Cybax from a neighboring vessel as Lavira relays the details of her special project. Turns out, amongst her other various projects, Lavira has been working on a batch of high-tech deadly missiles that would leave devastating consequences on their victims. Enough to annihilate every major city on the planet. It won't terminate all of them, but a large portion will be whipped out making it a terrific start to the campaign.
Cybax is quickly dispatched to Earth with the missiles and a squad of XBorgs accompanying him down in order to prepare a base of operations. Choosing a vacant warehouse as the place to be for this.
Once everything is in place Cybax contacts the command ship from the ground to provide an update for them.
From his end, Prince Vekar said "Now, Cybax, you have your orders. Just watch, wretched earthlings. All the major cities throughout the world will explode at exactly the same time."
Approaching an XBorg manning one of the consoles, wrapping a threatening arm around the soldier's neck, Lavira said "Those missiles took a long time to develop. Failure will not be forgiven."
Arms crossed, Princess Veronica said "We entrusted you with this task, Cybax. We expect results."
Bowing in respect to them, Cybax promised "And you shall have them. I guarantee it. Your Highnesses, the missiles are ready. I'm about to activate them." Cybax then switches on the automatic timer connected to each of the missiles. They are set for two hours on the dot to launch. For the time being they will be hidden underneath the warehouse to avoid detection. "Don't worry, Sire. Tonight, at dark, all the missiles will fire across the globe."
Unfortunately, there is an eavesdropper to their conversation.
The Red Ranger had been listening in. They are alerted to his presence when his Morpher goes off unexpectedly.
The connection is cut as Cybax and the XBorgs engage with the enemy.
Up above Prince Vekar is impatient for the desolation to commence.
Quite in an immature manner, Prince Vekar said "Launch the missiles already! Why do I have to wait until nightfall."
Discreetly rolling her eyes at her brother's tantrum, Princess Veronica explained "Because that's how the clock was set."
"What?! Whose brilliant idea was that," demanded Prince Vekar, angrily.
"Uh…Yours, Boss," said Argus, bowing awkwardly at Prince Vekar.
"Only listen to me if it's a good idea," said Prince Vekar, waving his arms around in irritation, "which all my ideas are, except for this one."
"Yes, Boss," said Argus.
Lavira wisely says nothing.
"Why do I even have to explain this? Why is it so hard to destroy one measly little world," exclaimed Prince Vekar.
Maybe it's because the humans are in fact stronger than them?
Of course, no one is going to be dumb enough to suggest that in front of the royal family. Not if they want to keep their lives.
By now the other rangers had joined the Red Ranger in the battle and were engaging Cybax on all fronts. They were making quick work of the XBorgs already in place down there so Prince Vekar decided to dispatch more.
Soon enough the clock ticks down to a few minutes left until the missiles are launched. It appears victory is at hand for the Empire.
That is until Cybax stupidly messes up and gives Red Ranger an opening to sabotage the launch with seconds left to spare.
To say Prince Vekar is simply angry would be an understatement. He has Lavira use her device to enlarge Cybax and increase his power tenfold.
Cybax intends to use the missiles himself to destroy Earth on Prince Vekars behalf. For a while, Cybax holds his own against the combined Legendary Megazords.
Cybax ends up defeated like the others and the Rangers send the missiles at the fleet, destroying some of the frontline vessels before they have the change to get their shields up. Fortunately, Princess Veronica can send a quick message to the other ships warning them to have their protective shields in place when the Rangers charge at the rest of the fleet. Very few ships are added to the numbers lost, but that doesn't change the fact that Prince Vekar is the reason why this attack wasn't successful from his lack of planning.
Prince Vekar's temper gets the better of him, attacking nearby XBorgs in a fit of rage until Damaras steps in to stop him.
Princess Veronica sighs as she watches this shameful display, wondering what direction they should be taking now.

For those of you on fanfiction I'm sure you've been facing the many unwanted ads when you're reading a story. Well, yesterday, I finally had enough, and I got an adblocker app. It worked! No more ads on any level! The one I got is Adblock Pro: Safari Ad Blocker. It really works. Just follow the instruction video that it attached to it.
Heads up everyone there's someone on fanfiction you need to seriously watch out for. Early a couple of months ago after I woke up I was checking my email and I saw I had a new guest review on my A Dog's Purpose Is Strange Magic 2 sequel. I took a look at it and got a very big shock. Some random person I've never spoken to before on here or anywhere else in my life was basically threatening me. Intimidating and practically ordering me to write a threatening letter to someone on their behalf, telling to stay off of for life or else they and everyone else close to them would be killed, disgustingly telling them to kill themselves. And at the bottom of the message this crazy person wasn't done. Warning me that if I don't send the letter then they would kill me and for confirmation to email them to make absolutely sure I complied with their demands. Of course I did nothing of the sort. Instead of doing what they wanted I reported them to the website, sent copies of this deplorable guest review message to police officer cousins of mine so they could have it on file, and I went to a nearby police station and reported it.
When I spoke to the police officers and they checked everything on the message they saw, that while the address and names of business were accurate the people and their names were not. They agree it was more than likely a scam because of the email address on the bottom in order to perhaps get access to personal information or potentially hack my computer. Despite that I'm still very happy they took it seriously as I showed and told them everything. All the same I'm still very happy that I brought this to the attention of law enforcement. Even though the entire thing might be fake I'm still very happy to have brought this to the attention of those who can do something about it if it was legit in some way. This may have been a scam, but it's obvious these people are beyond irresponsible if they try to goad people into sending death threats to random strangers just to get access to info.
Be that as it may if this does unfortunately happen to you do not send any messages to the email addresses they put down and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you bring the message to the authorities immediately whether it is legit or not.
Because it's a guest review it might not be visible for a couple of days as it loads if it is sent to you. But when it does you should definitely pressing the report abuse button and send it to the email that leads to the support staff that is available.
Just a heads up to those of you who aren't aware of this yet, Email alerts for this website are now only active if Email opts is enabled in account settings.

Stay safe everyone. Especially with all of these crazy natural disasters occurring a lot lately due to global warming and climate change everywhere for sure. I swear it's like they're getting worse and worse all the time and it's like officials are simply just ignoring it or pretending it doesn't exist entirely just to go on with their daily lives. Especially those in multi-million dollar companies that rely on certain elements of our planet that we rely on to naturally keep us safe instead of adapting and finding new safer ways to keep in business. There are so many options out there where they can adapt, but they just refuse to see it because all they care about is money. Climate change is altering so much faster than anyone can really keep track of.
So, in light of all this, it is important to live life to the fullest as much as anyone can.
