"Ty!" Paara yelled, running through the fort. Ty ran to greet her and caught her as she ran to him. "Ty, what the hell?" she whispered, pointing at the sky, where a small aurora had opened. "Ty, I thought those were supposed to stop," she whispered.

"So did I, my love," he said softly. "It's okay. Whatever this is, we're okay." Paara nodded softly and looked back up at the sky.

"It's smaller than the others were," she noted.

"Perhaps a smaller sinkhole opened. I'm not sure," Ty said softly.

"Ty, I don't mind your friends that came, and I don't even mind if they're visiting, but I don't think we can survive doing that again with others," Paara said quietly, and he knew what she meant.

"It's okay. I understand. If it is Gavin and them, they would probably head here first. Whoever it is that came, we're going to figure it out."
